If you ever want to listen live head over to: http://www.lawabidingbiker.com/live. It is a lot of fun and there is live chat, so you can get involved. You get a behind the scenes look. The biggest development of course is the fact that young Abel finally ratted out Gemma for killing Tara Knowles. Wendy, Jax's ex-wife and blood mother of Abel, and Jax are getting very close and she has moved in. Wendy spills her guts to Jax and rats out Gemma for helping harbor Juice when he was wanted by the club. And tells him that Unser was involved. Armed with all this information, Jax goes directly to Unser and calls him out. In turn Unser told Jax that Chris Dunn, whom both Gemma and Juice blame for the murder of Tara, was in a Las Vegas jail the night of the murder. Remember, Dunn was murdered by Jax, as he believed he was responsible for the murder based on Gemma's false information. Jax wants a meeting in jail with Juice and for Unser to help set it up. Juice finally spills his guts and tells Jax the truth and everything that went down the night of Tara's murder. Jax tells him he appreciates him telling the truth and that his death will be quick in return. Juice calls Gemma immediately after to tell her what he did. Jax had promised Unser that he would record the conversation with Juice at the jail, but Jax had Tully get him a room with no cameras. Per Unser, the terms of his getting the meet with Juice was that if Jax crossed him he would never help him or his family again. Unser and Jax later talk at Teller Motors and Unser is pissed off that Jax double crossed him once again. Jax ends up punching Unser in the presence of Sheriff Jarry. Unser is getting very close to solving the murder and wants Jax off the streets before he kills anyone else. He and Sheriff Jarry put out an All Points Bulletin on Jax for assault. Tully set up the stage for Lynn's murder and Juice meets Lynn tied up in a boiler room inside the jail. Juice had been provided a cell phone with a video camera to record Lynn's confession about whom told him about the location of the guns that SAMCRO had jacked from his crew earlier in the season. Juice promised not to murder him if he just told the truth about that matter and not to testify against SAMCRO to get his jail sentence lightened. Patreon DO YOU WANT TO BECOME A PATRON AND SUPPORT US? Lynn's information was that it was not Jury of the SOA Indian Hills Chapter as Jax had suspected. Remember that Jax shot President Jury in the presence of his Vice President after they got into an altercation about this very issue at an oil drill site. Lynn stated that is was Charlie Berosky, the dirty ex-cop that controls the ports in Stockton, that ratted. We here at the Law Abiding Biker Podcast have predicted this for several episodes now! Juice shanks Lynn in the throat several times and kills him. After receiving the phone call from Juice about spilling his guts to Jax, Gemma packs her immediate belongings and tries to escape with SAMCRO hot on her tail. Chucky ends up helping Gemma make a clean escape when Happy and Rat show up and ask where she is. Gemma later has Nero meet her outside a church, which is across the street form the home she grew up in. Gemma blabbers about her childhood and growing up. Nero knows something is amiss and then gets a call from Jax. Nero demands to know what is going on and Jax tells him that Gemma is the murderer of his wife Tara. Nero hangs up and tells Gemma that she needs to leave. Jax and crew go to a bakery that Berosky frequents, but he is not there. Unknown to Jax, there is the APB out on him. Two officers show up at the bakery and are checking the plates on his Harley Davidson. Jax runs out the back of the bakery, jacks a Dodge car from a fat guy, and the high speed chase is on. He ditches the Sheriff's Deputy that is chasing him and lands at a facility Marcus Alvarez, Mayans MC President, owns. Jax and Alvarez then have a long talk about things and how Nero has sold his half of Diosa to him. They look forward to being business partners. Alvarez is advised of Berosky being the rat and that SAMCRO will deal with him. This is just a brief look into some of the content we talk about in this episode. Several people, couple forums, & dealer suggested going back to factory Harley plugs because they are built with some anti knock feature or something like that. What's your opinion on my plug situation. Wife & I are doing a four state road trip and I'm trying to avoid problems. There is a lot of information out on the internet about motorcycle spark plugs and much of it is confusing or contradicting. Oscar is in the studio on this episode and really breaks the facts down for you, so you can make an educated decision the next time your motorcycle requires new spark plugs. We are regular day to day hardcore bikers and want to find out what really matters & what is fluff with motorcycle spark plugs. Consider using our AMAZON AFFILIATE LINK to purchase NGK Iridium Spark Plugs for your motorcycle if you find this free blog and podcast useful. There is a great selection of motorcycle spark plugs on Amazon at good prices. The stock Harley Davidson plugs are a bit cheaper than the aftermarket NGK Iridium plugs or other aftermarket spark plug brands. Knowing that factory spark plugs on newer Harley Davidson motorcycle's under normal operating conditions only need to be changed out every 30,000 miles or so is something to take into account. The iridium plugs claim they can last even longer than that. We have noticed slight differences when using NGK Iridium spark plugs over stock Harley Davidson spark plugs, such as faster engine start up. The bike we used is Oscar's 2012 Harley Davidson Ultra Limited with a Power Commender V installed, which can make your engine start slower. In our tests the iridium plugs reversed that slow start some. Our Tech Gripper Cell Phone Motorcycle Mount Affiliate Link: Need a motorcycle cell phone or GPS mounting solution Bikaholics? You really need to listen in on this podcast episode for further detailed information & facts about motorcycle spark plugs and what's right for you. At the end of the day it only costs you an extra $10 or so every 30,000 miles to use iridium aftermarket spark plugs instead of stock Harley Davidson plugs. Our tests were done for the regular biker out there on the road, not in a racing environment of course. There are an array of claims out there on how bad ass one motorcycle spark plug is over the other and that may be true for professional racers etc. But, for the average every day biker it will be hard to say whether you notice any significant difference at all, which was our experience. But for the extra $10 I will be upgrading my stock Harley spark plugs to NGK Iridium. If I get quicker engine starts at minimum, then heck it was worth it I guess. And you might notice other benefits too, so I think it is worth at least try. Newest Patron (You can become a Patron too!) Mike Petry from Ohio Thank you for supporting this platform Mike! This is how your podcasts and website have helped me this year since I got my 2014 FLHXS vivid black stock pipes (for now). Didn't know about all the Harley recalls and updates, but for your YouTube video on the recall and the Boom Box updates. Was going to screw myself by buying a VH FP3 and flash my ECM, but for your EFI podcast. Now, I feel better with buying a PCV with a stock map and NOT flash my ECM. Was going to waste more money on a $300 aftermarket air box, but for your comment in your podcast that the 2014 air box is a good design so why fix something that ain't broke! So, I just got a K&N stock filter. Your latest podcast reaffirmed my good decision on my 2014 Harley purchase over the Victory XC. The XC is an excellent bike, but the Harley community is second to none. Awesome Videos- no need to explain. Most of all, you and your crew have great chemistry on your podcasts. Email 3 Butch Sheely of Winchester, Kentucky Ryan, your videos are very good and informative, I just installed a V&H exhaust system and air cleaner on my bike, and got the fuelpak FP3, the instructions seem to be simple, but after I flashed the ECM, I took it for a ride, when I decelerate it would pop & back fire. I didn't know if that was normal, but I didn't like that popping and backfiring. I am doing a autotune on it now and going to put on about 300 miles this weekend. I'm a new bike owner so i want to make sure I'm right.........great job your doing on those videos maybe i should go back and watch again maybe i missed something about the 3. My response: You can use the same oil in all three holes if using synthetic. So, same oil for engine, primary, and trans. That is why we suggest using synthetic. We all saw the opening montage with numerous sexual scenes. Tig with Venus, Gemma with Nero, Chibs with Sheriff Jarry, Rat with some blonde whore, Happy with a whore, Juice taking it from behind from Tully, Jax with with a whore, and poor Wendy taking care of herself. We later see that Tig and Venus are going to take their relationship to the next level and maybe play house or something. Nero still wants to sell off his half of Diosa to Mayans President Marcus Alvarez. Nero has grand plans on moving to a farm and taking Gemma with him. Jax does not seemready to loose Nero as a business partner. Abel is having problems since he has been eavesdropping on Gemma in past episodes. He is self mutilating and then advises child protective services that Gemma caused his injuries. Abel ends the episode by basically telling Jax that Gemma killed Tara. While the child services investigation is being conducted Gemma cannot see Abel and Thomas. Wendy moves into Jax's home to watch the boys and they seem to be getting very close again even though they are divorced. There is a power struggle within the Aryan Brotherhood and a guy named "Otis" is taking over as Tully's first hand man on the outside. Leeland is being replaced and not happy about it. Otis seems loyal to SAMCRO. Leeland later shows up at the hospital to kill Deputy Egly, who is still recovering from being shot by him and his crew. He thinks she is going to talk and wants her dead. However, Jax and crew get a heads up from a pissed off Aryan Brotherhood member they shoot and later kill. Unser is waiting at the hospital for Leeland and puts three bullets in him. Tyler is still loyal to Jax, although the episode made us have our doubts. Rat and T.O., the Grim Bastards MC President, are taken by Moses Cartwright. Tyler acted as if he was giving T.O. up to prove his loyalty to August Marks, who is in jail after Latricia's affidavit and the pastor's body were found on his construction property. Tyler gives Jax and crew the heads up. Rat and T.O. are beat some in the same holding cell that Bobby occupied before his death last episode. T.O. acts as if he has been broken and gives Moses a false map to where Latricia and her son are being held for protection. Waiting at the location are SAMCRO, Otis and some other AB, and the Grim Bastards. In vengeance for Bobby, Jax rips Moses' eyeball out, others cut his fingers off, and Jax shoots him in the head. Fortunately, the CHP says 32-year-old Guruardas Singh Khalsa, of Brentwood was arrested Wednesday at his home on suspicion of being an accessory after the fact and delaying or obstructing an officer. This incident occurred on Interstate 680 in Milpitas. A group riding sports type motorcycles are seen doing stunts on the freeway with no respect or regard for anyone else. A CPH motorcycle officer gets in the group and politely tells this rocket scientist of a biker to stop the behavior with no citation. The officer ends up pulling ahead, and the motorcyclist waves goodbye as another rider puts a fist in the air. Don't do the victory wave yet bro.....LOL CHP Officer Ross Lee says the YouTube video, online postings by Khalsa, and tips from the public helped lead investigators to Khalsa. A big shout out to CHP Officer Ross Lee for his professionalism in handling this incident. Check out our COMPLETE REVIEW Check out these awesome cell phone mounts No additional cost to your, but we get a small commission for each sale.  I say this motorcyclist is a real genius and we thank him for hanging himself on YouTube! The Motorcycling Majority....99% of all bikers are hard working motorcycle enthusiasts and don't behave like these misguided individuals on roadways open to the public: We here in the law abiding biker community realize that it is incidents and viral videos like these that make all bikers/motorcyclists look bad. Pulling a wheelie down the freeway seems to be the new "I'm cool" thing to do for a very small portion of misguided motorcyclists. To be fair and balanced here at Law Abiding Biker Media, I also came across this video that a rider of a tricked out Harley Davidson posted on Facebook. I must say that these are bad ass bikes and some skilled riders, but please keep it off the open streets. These guys are pulling the same stunts as the guys on sports bikes while going down a freeway open to the public. Seriously, I would pay money to come watch these stunts and check the bikes out at an event. It just has no place on roadways open to the general public. This type of behavior is the image all Law Abiding Bikers, the 99% ers, are trying to fight, the typical "stereo type". I admit these guys are apparent skilled riders, but riding all over the roadway without regard to other motorists is just stupid and disrespectful. The motoring public doesn't need swarming bikes around them doing stunts. These riders have zero respect for anyone else but themselves. Riders performing these stunts will often argue that this is safe because they are skilled. Anyone with a brain knows that accidents can happen and we have all watched videos of riders doing these exact stunts and crashing. That is life and accidents will happen, so why up the risk to other motorists around you? Oh, was this an accident from what appeared to be a "skilled rider"?   Personally, I don't care if the riders hurt themselves. Then again, from a financial standpoint, serious injury and fatality collisions cost us all dearly in insurance rates. I know these riders are just trying to have fun, but the consequences can be dire for other motorists. You see, if one of them goes down, it stops up the entire group, which stops freeway traffic, hopefully. The motorcycle also slides and a motorist may have to swerve, causing them to roll over, killing or injuring children they may be transporting. The scenarios can continue and common sense prevails here on all levels. What if it were your significant other with your children on the road with these riders? What if one of them lost control and your family member had to swerve to avoid one of them? What if they rolled over and were killed? Would you have a different opinion on wether this should take place on roadways open to the public? Or is it better suited for a controlled environment? There is clearly no reasonable argument to this. Fact: Wether on Harley Davidson's or sports bikes, these motorcycle riders are doing it on the freeway and on roads open to the public for attention they must need and to get good video footage they can later post to YouTube. Remember, just because you try to take a video off YouTube that you are not happy with anymore will ALWAYS be around. As so clearly demonstrated with this incident. Once you hit the "publish" button you better be ready. Last, I must reiterate that I love riding motorcycles and everything about it. I love the talent that is out there and the tricked out bikes. I would literally pay to watch these guys perform their stunts in a controlled environment and check the bikes out at a rally. It just can't be argued that this is dangerous at some point for other motorists on the road. None of these riders is perfect and things happen all the time. The risk versus reward is just way to high. Worst of all is this is all a step backwards in regards to public perception of the biker community. The motorcycling majority doesn't want another black eye because of stuff like this. Swarms of bikes all around them doing crazy things on a freeway certainly leaves a bad taste in their mouths. LAB - Sons of Anarchy (SOA) Season 7; Eps 9 - Podcast

OFFICIAL WEBSITE; http://www.lawabidingbiker.com PODCAST-In this episode we cover Sons of Anarchy Episode 9, which aired on November 4, 2014 and was titled "What a piece of work is man". I cover the high points in this blog, but you really need to listen in on this episode to understand everything and get into the know on things. Juice is in jail trying to get at Lyn and kill him to get back into good graces with the club. However, Wayne Unser and Sheriff Jarry learn that Chris Dunn, the murdered Chinese guy, was in Las Vegas on the night of the murder of Tara Knowles. Dunn was actually arrested for drunk and disorderly. The spin is that both Gemma and Juice have identified him as leaving the murder scene that night. We later see Juice being placed in solitary, as Jarry told DA Patterson to take Juice out of Administrative Segregation and pull the deal on the table. Of course we all know Bobby was shot in the head by August Marks. Jax and crew all met with August and his crew at an oil drilling site. The trade was to be that Jax was to give him the cell phone footage of a dead pastor having sex with young boys, the pastor's body, and the pastor's son. In exchange Bobby was to be returned to Jax, now missing his left fingers and eye. Everyone left the drilling site exceptJax, the pastor's son, Marks, and Bobby. Marks looked at the body and identified it as the pastor based on the face and a tattoo on the left arm. The body is not that of the pastor, but just the head and left arm. Jax and crew beheaded the pastor and cut off his left arm only to then sew it onto another corpse. So the actual body of the pastor is still buried on one of Marks construction sites. Jax also shows Marks some footage of the pastor's sex scenes, but we know from earlier that Happy had the video altered, so nobody would be able to be identified. Marks will likely learn this in the future and the video will be worthless along with the body. In the back of Bobby's pants is a pistol that was put their by his lead security guy, Moses Cartwright. Marks pulls the gun while Bobby, who is gagged, tries to warn Jax. Marks shoots Bobby in the head to prove a point to both Jax and the pastor's son that he does not approve of betrayal and deals with it swiftly. Gemma and Sheriff Jarry are not getting along well and Gemma calls her out for being on the take and on "Chib's dick" as she put it. The two go to blows at one point and we're not sure at this point how Gemma knew this information. Jax seems dedicated to protecting Latricia and her son and we don't know why this allegiance runs so deep for him. Maybe it is the last good thing that can come out of a completely out of control situation. After Jax tells Gemma that Bobby is dead and it is because of the battle with the Chinese, she leaves the room. She realizes that Bobby's death is ultimately her fault as she has falsely accused Chris Dunn for the murder of Tara. She cries over Bobby and tells him she's sorry all while young Abel is listening in. Abel has heard too much already at his young age and that will come into play before the end of the final episode. He may very well end up at the head of the SAMCRO table, Jax's inner fear. By the end of this episode Marks is being led out of a restaurant in handcuffs and Moses Cartwright is watching. Jax and Chibs are close by and make it known that they are there and responsible for his arrest. Jax had Latricia's affidavit against Marks sent to DA Patterson via Sheriff Jarry. The police are anonymously led to the actual body of the pastor on Marks' construction site. So, for now Marks is going to be in jail while Jax looks for a more permanent solution. Chibs delivers the affidavit and a map of where the body is to Sheriff Jarry. This ends up in a scene where Jarry want's Chibs to prove he loves her by having sex with her on the hood of her patrol car while Quinn watches. I must say that this was likely not predicted by anyone, but it happened. Marks did not like it when Jax had Tyler presented him with a picture of the dead pasture buried on one of his construction sites along with a signed affidavit from the pastors wife that he had been blackmailing her. They are torturing Bobby and have removed his left eyeball and the fingers on his left hand. Of course this is his "clutch hand" and very important for riding a motorcycle. Both body parts have been mailed to Jax and it appears Marks will not negotiate at all. He wants to know where the dead body is, the pictures, and the affidavit if SAMCRO wants to ever see Bobby again. Gemma is at the cabin caring for the dead pastor's wife, who is trying to detox from heroin. Jax seem to really car for her an her son. He does not want them to be hurt by Marks and is protecting them. Of course, Gemma in her foolish ways thought she was being taken to the cabin to be killed for murdering Tara as she prepared her Glock for possible battle. Juice shot at the California Highway Patrol Motorcycle Officers and they chased him down. He is in Jail and this is all part of an attempt on his part to get back into the club. He is to get put in Administrative Segregation (Ad Seg) with Henry Lynn and kill him. Juice stirs up a false deal with Sheriff Jarry to put him in AD Seg in return for information leading to the conclusion of Tara Knowles murder case. Unser is present during this discussion and clearly knows there is still a missing piece to Tara's murder, but Sheriff Jarry talks with DA Patterson and Juice is put in Ad Seg. SAMCRO tracks down and learns that Gib Oleary, whom they killed many episodes back after taking down the Chinese gun and heroin deal, is the son of of Jury White, the president of the Indian Hill's Chapter. It seems clear that Jury was the only one who knew where the Chinese guns were stored and had motive to rat out SAMCRO to the Chinese. Jax meets up with Jury and spills what he knows and this ends up with Jax shooting and killing Jury in front of the Indian Hills Vice President. That is not going to sit well within the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club as Chibs later explains to Jax. Abel is displaying some bad behavior and violence after he strikes another child over the head with his lunch box at school. He is also seen at the doorway listening to Gemma tell young Thomas that she didn't mean to Kill Tara and that is was an "accident". Gemma later confronts Abel about the school incident and asks him if he knows what an "accident" is and he replies, "Do you"? It appears that Abel is becoming like his father Jax and a product of his environment. This is exactly how Jax grew up under his father John Teller's reign and is why he turned out the way he is. Patreon DO YOU WANT TO BECOME A PATRON AND SUPPORT US? The start of season 7 shows Jax in control of things and doing exactly what he wants when he wants. The season has taken a turn now with Marks in apparent control of things. Jax has had some second thoughts about things and even seems a bit indecisive. He has confided in Chibs, who tells him to stay the course, but later questions him about killing Jury. For now Nero seems to be taking a back seat and is trying to sell his half of Diosa for 300K to the Mayans and meets with President Marcus Alvarez, who seems interested. He needs 150K up front. His plans are to move Gemma, Wendy, and the boys to a farm with him away from Charming, but Gemma is not all in yet. If this deal happens Alvarez will be in 50/50 with the Jax on Diosa business. This is just a peak into what we talk about in depth on this episode of the Law Abiding Biker Podcast and you really need to listen in to be in the know. LAB-59-Harley Street Glide vs. Victory Cross Country vs. Indian Chieftain vs. Star Stratoliner vs. Kawasaki Vulcan Vaquero

What are the difference and specifications? What are the difference in prices and why? Should I buy a Harley, Victory, Indian, Yamaha, or Kawasaki? We dive deep into this topic and you really have to listen in to this episode to get all the details. We call all these bikes the "Harley Street Glide" class, because the Street Glide is The Motor Company's perennial best-seller, and the new "Special" edition is the world's favorite bagger. It is simply a fact that Harley came up with the overall look and style of this class of bagger and the other manufacturers have been chasing it every since trying to get a piece of the pie. Harley has been developing and designing this bike for many years and the others are all fairly new to the game in comparison. Harley has had much time to perfect and test the Street Glide. LAB-Sons of Anarchy (SOA) | Season 7; Eps 5 & 6-Podcast

OFFICIAL WEBSITE: http://www.lawabidingbiker.com PODCAST-In this episode we cover Son's of Anarchy Season 7; Episodes 5 & 6. We have packed this episode with information to get everyone up to speed. We have some great insights and predictions. Episode 5 aired on 10/07/14 and was titled "Some Strange Eruption" and Episode 6 aired on 10/14/14 and was titled "Smoke 'Em if you got 'Em". The slaughter at Diosa by the Chines has certainly set the club back. As if Jax was not already angry enough, now he has every reason to go forward with reckless disregard. Chibs and Sheriff Jarry are getting close and personal. The question is if Sheriff Jarry is actually on the take or if she is working a case. Is she taking the money or is she setting SAMCRO up for a large scale RICO case? Listener Line: (509) 731-3548 Leave a computer voicemail: http://www.lawabidingbiker.com/voicemail General Contact: http://www.lawabidingbiker.com/contact We are patiently waiting to find out who gave up the location of the guns to the Chinese. We have strong reason to believe it was Jury, the Pres of the Indian Hills Chapter, because we know one of men Jax and crew killed must have been close to him. It is all to possible that Jury is working with Berosky, who may also be involved with disclosing the information to the Chinese. Nero is in the thick of it. Jax finally reveals to him that he believes the Chinese killed Tara. Of course the only witness is his beloved Gemma. Mayan's President Marcus Alvarez takes temporary custody of Nero and they lock him in a closet. That is because Nero failed to disclose information to him. We know Juice did not have the balls to kill Gemma after they ended up in a desolate area. Gemma ends up walking to a Cafe and later meeting up with Wendy and Unser. Juice robs a convenience store and then ends up at the Mayan's Club House. He is trying to get safe passage to Mexico in return for giving information about SAMCRO to Marcus Alvarez, the President of the Mayans. Alvarez will have nothing to do with it and notifies SAMCRO, who later take custody of Juice. But not before Juice gets locked in the same closet as Nero and they talk. The huge question on everyone's mind is, did Juice tell Nero that Gemma murdered Tara? Lynn is set up by both Nero and Jax and shows up at a warehouse where they are prepared to slaughter SAMCRO. Instead, it is just Jax and Chibs present. Lynn takes them away in a van after a deal is made. However, they never make it and SAMCRO is waiting for Lynn and crew. Jax and Lynn get into a fight and some dirty Stockton police on Berosky's payroll show up. Lynn and crew are taken into custody on gun and drug charges while SAMCRO is let go. Jax talks with the Grim Bastards about possibly "patching over", which even they are dumfounded by. The Grim Bastards finally take out Delanynee, who was responsible for killing one of their members sometime back. They have been trying to track him down every since and now he is out of the picture. The Aryan's leader is Tully, who is in jail. Leeland is taking up business on the outside and SAMCRO isn't getting along with them very well. A huge fist fight breaks out, but Jax later makes it up to Tully buy offering him 1/2 the drug trade in Stockton after Jax made a deal with Marcus Alvarez in exchange for Juice. Deputy Egly is now awake after being shot by Leeland and crew several episodes ago. SAMCRO was also present, but did not do the actual shooting. However, Egly saw all of them and is now in a position to speak. We will have to see if Egly protects the club or dimes them out. We see a preview of upcoming episode 7. We see some Honda police motorcycles getting shot up. We see Juice back in his SAMCRO vest "cut" and being chased by police on a motorcycle in a pursuit. We see another scene where it appears Jax is handing Juice's vest back to him in front of a large rock that is spray painted with "J.T. 11-13-93". In front of that rock Juice says, "I'm sorry". Happy is seen telling Gemma that she needs to come with them to the cabin for "club business". Unser is with Jax and says, " I need your word". To fill that category are two new bikes, the 750 and the 500, both liquid cooled. The 750 has a 46 cubic inch motor while the 500 has  a 30 cubic inch V-Twin Revolution X motor. Further, these motors are a 60-degree V-Twin with chain-driven single overhead cams and four-valves per cylinder. All is finished off with a 2-into-1 upswept exhaust. Here is a video and all the specs for that new bike. It can be tough on some models of motorcycles to get at the valve stems with a standard tire gauge. We happened to be in town and came across this handy little digital tire pressure gauge that will fit into tight places. Harley-Davidson Boom!™ Box Software Update 1.18.1 Harley-Davidson and Harman Kardon are running around like chickens with their heads cut off after the failure of the release of software version 1.18.1. It actually caused more problems than it fixed. My advice is not to update any software until Harley comes out with an even newer update version. I can't guarantee that will fix much either, but we can hope. Harley-Davidson and Harman Kardon are trying to avoid a massive recall on the Boom!™ Box system and loosing customers respect & support daily by remaining silent on the huge issues. Harley has even taken down the ability to download any new software versions on their website. I made a simple link for everyone to keep checking back to see when they have new software available. Emails Andy Havener of Fort Worth, Texas I just bought your video on heated grip install and it is worth every penny. Although your video is on an 2014 my bike is an 2013 Flhtcu but many things are the same except in the fuse box area. Also your update on Lerches 2008 when you talk about where to wire that plug, that plug is hot already. And makes for an easy hook up to the red wire from the heated grip. All in all Thanks again and I will be watching you in the future. He referenced our Harley Davidson Brand Heated Grips Install Video William Light of San Diego, California I have a 2015 Street Glide CVO with wiring inside the bars. Before I buy your video I need to know if you run all of the wires inside the bars? MY RESPONSE: Be careful bro for sure. Even our local dealership mechanics get confused between the years and different heated grip kits until they get it in hand. I have a very good relationship with them and they tell me a lot. Because some mechanics have installed on past models inside the bars that is not the case for the 2014 and above. Many mechanics have not even seen the new kit and procedures. The bikes are very new. Right side is internal. Left side is external, but the way Lurch and I did it, you can't even tell. I could run them through my bars too, but modifications outside Harley's recommendations would have to be made. Guarantee the dealer would have to modify to make that happen on a 2015. They usually don't do that, because then the job would not fall under warranty. Donald Meitz Heated grips installed. Before I watched your video, I was more than confused with the factory instructions. After I watched your video, the install couldn't have been any easier. Thanx a lot. Donnie, 2014 street glide. He referenced our Harley Davidson Brand Heated Grips Install Video Mark Holmes of Ontario, Canada Hi. Came across your site when searching out a question about the above bike. I'm a new rider and looking at buying my first bike. I'm 6'1" at 245 lbs and have been told to start on something in the 500 cc range. Was actually looking for a Kawasaki Vulcan 500 but then my daughter said to me "Dad, if you really end up liking it, go bigger from the start" I mulled this over after thinking of another friend that essentially did the same thing, but he just went out and bought a 1600 cc for the get go! I don't think I want to go that big, but would a 900 cc be a good purchase to start with? Do you have any how to videos on Kawasaki maintenance? I very easily found the answer I was looking for here (belt drive vs. chain drive) and it set my mind to ease. I have a line on a very low mileage 900 cc Vulcan for a really good price. Just wondering your thoughts on this bike. Lurch's Response: Thanks for sending your question. You're a good sized guy and will quickly outgrow a 500cc bike. I think you're right. The 900cc Vulcan will be a better fit for you. I bet you can ride that bike for a long time. My interment research showed favorable results for the Vulcan 900. It's a good looking bike and it sounds like you have a line on a good one. I say buy it! Nothing beats getting out on the road and having your knees in the breeze. We unfortunately don't have any Kawasaki maintenance videos at this time. Hopefully we can get some done in the future. We just need to get our hands on some metric bikes. ________________________________________________________________ CHECK US OUT AND SUBSCRIBE:   Website: http://www.LawAbidingBiker.com   Email & Voicemail: http://www.LawAbidingBiker.com/Contact   Phone Hotline: 509-731-3548   Twitter: https://twitter.com/LawAbidingBiker   Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/lawabidingbiker        YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/scrappy587     Google Plus Page: https://plus.google.com/b/104041070580228657262/+Lawabidingbiker587   Instagram: http://instagram.com/lawabidingbiker     RSS: feed://www.LawAbidingBiker.com/feed   iTunes Direct Link to Podcast:  https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/law-abiding-biker-podcast/id622424087    Stitcher Radio: http://www.stitcher.com/podcast/law-abiding-biker-podcast   TuneIn Radio: http://tunein.com/radio/Law-Abiding-Biker-p562288/

LAB-Sons of Anarchy (SOA) | Season 7; Eps 3 & 4-Podcast

OFFICIAL WEBSITE: http://www.lawabidingbiker.com Call our listener hotline: (509) 731-3548 Leave a voicemail right from you computer: http://www.lawabidingbiker.com/voicemail Leave us an email: http://www.lawabidingbiker.com/contact PODCAST-In this episode of the Law Abiding Biker Podcast we cover Sons of Anarchy Season 7; Episodes 3 & 4. Of course we have jam packed this episode with the latest and greatest information to get everyone up to speed and we even give some ongoing predictions. Sons of Anarchy episode 3 "Playing with Monsters" aired on 09/24/13. Episode 4 aired on 09/30/14. We start the episode off with a voicemail from loyal listener Larry Baxter of Homer, Alaska reference some of his predictions and we thank him for becoming involved. So, Juice and Unser are working together a bit and exchanging favors. Of course Unser has agreed to protect and help Juice get out of town and even set a surprise meet up with Chibs. Juice in turn is supposed to provide Unser information about the club and Tara's murder. The Triad's are still not happy with the fact that their gun shipment got taken down and they lost some heroin. They do not seem completely satisfied that the two men that know Jury, the President of Indian Hill's Chapter of SOA, did it and are now dead. They are asking many questions of Jax and looking into things. The biggest surpass to Jax and crew is that the Triad's only found one many dead, as apparently Jury moved the other. August Marks and Jax meet and have a lengthy discussion about trusting each other. Marks ends up finding out about the gun and heroin take down of the Chinese and suspects Jax and crew did it. This heated conversation ends up with August saying that he would not hesitate to kill Jax or any of his crew if he had to. This does not sit will with Jax at all. Jax and crew stir a bunch of things up with the one niners and "Chester's Crew", who are a faction trying to break off from Tyler, who is in charge of the "purple" right now. Jax and crew all but tell Tyler they took down the Chinese. Jax give shim some of the heroin they took off the Chinese and they make a plan to kill Chester and anyone else that was thinking about splitting off. Jax makes this look like this is all a big plan to get at August Marks.   Our Tech Gripper Cell Phone Motorcycle Mount Affiliate Link: Need a motorcycle cell phone or GPS mounting solutionBikaholics? Berosky is dirty as usual and caught up with this entire plan. When Chester and crew meet with Jax they head over to one of Berosky's warehouses where the Jax has stored the Chinese guns. Chester and his crew are then slated by Jax and crew. Berosky gets a few of his dirty cop friends to help clean up the mess. Bobby Elvis calls Jury to ask if he knows anything about the missing guy pretending that he does not know he's dead. Bobby is trying to get intel on who this guy is in case he actually did not die and got away. Jury seems to know exactly what is going in and is clothing the dead man's dog tag and the shotgun that was used to kill him. Jury knows this shotgun belongs to SAMCRO. Tyler wants Jax and his crew to try and track down the wife of the dead pastor (they killed of course). August Marks is trying to close a huge housing deal and needs his signature. They learn that the estranged wife of the dead pastor has power of attorney and can sign instead. The mission for Jax's crew to locate her begins of course. They certainly don't want Marks digging around for the dead "missing" pastor and find out the truth. They dig up the body of the dead pastor and retrieve his cell phone. That leads them to some sex videos with none other than Venus in them. They track down Venus, who leads them to a lake house. They break in and Tiggy is shot as an intruder, but he is not killed. The estranged wife and her son try to get away in a car, but Rat gives chase and runs them into a lake. Jax and Chibs dive in and save the estranged wife. They all end up going back into the lake house and talk things out. The wife does not like her husband or August Marks, but agrees she will sign the housing deal papers. Jax and crew meet with some of Tully's guys in the woods and two Deputies tail them. Tully's guys spot the police and shoot both of them. Jax and crew did not shoot the police and Jax is pissed, as this will possibly bring heat on Charming and the club. The male deputy dies, but the female deputy is still alive and on life support in the hospital. Sheriff Jarry shows up at the makeshift clubhouse to talk with Jax and Chibs. During their conversation a car shows up and a male Chinese guy jumps out to throw a grenade through the glass window of the clubhouse. Chibs grabs Jarry to protect her and everybody hits the deck. The club house is blown up and demolished, but nobody is injured or dead.   OUR B&H PHOTO VIDEO AFFILIATE LINK: Want to support us Bikaholics? Need some awesome tech gear? Chibs drives Sheriff Jarry home afterwards in her patrol car and they hold hands. Nero shows up at the blown up clubhouse and gets a call on his cell phone. On the other end is a Chinese Triad leader who is at Diosa and says to Nero, "Mr. Lynn appreciates all your efforts in getting everyone together." "What happens at Diosa will impact you, but it's meant for the Sons of Anarchy" and hangs up. Jax and crew rush to Diosa, but it is tool late and all the girls have been shot to death. At the same time Gemma is with Juice and Wendy is also there. There is an all points bulletin (APB) officially out on Juice now and Gemma is going to personally get him out of town. LAB-57-Should I Join a Traditional Type Motorcycle Club? Are There Benefits?

OFFICIAL WEBSITE ==> http://www.lawabidingbiker.com We would love to hear from you! Get involved now. Call the listener hotline: (509) 731-3548 Leave a computer voicemail: http://www.lawabidingbiker.com/voicemail General Contact: http://www.lawabidingbiker.com/contact PODCAST & BLOG-So, have you ever wondered whether you should join an organized type motorcycle club? Or should you just ride and hang out with friends without being an organized club? From much experience, I can tell you, joining a motorcycle club is certainly not for everyone. I encourage every biker/motorcyclist to think heavily before getting involved with a club. In this podcast episode we play a voicemail a listener left for us. It begs the question, are there benefits to starting or joining a traditional organized motorcycle club? We break this down and get into depth on the pros and cons of joining or starting a biker club, so put your helmet on and hang on for this one. The first thing many think is why would I want to join a club and have to follow all the bylaws and rules when I can just hang out and ride with guys I like? If this is your thought, then maybe you are not ready to join or start a club yet and are exploring. Many are curious if there are any benefits to being involved with an organized motorcycle club? I am the President of the Sworn Few MC and involved in this very traditional organized motorcycle club for many reasons, which I will discuss a bit later. I do know groups that just ride together without being organized in a traditional type club sense. It is up to each individual on how they want to roll and what they are expecting or looking for. Let's first discuss some major differences between a true motorcycle club, a riding club, and a riding group. A traditional motorcycle club is one in which the members wear a leather vest or "cut" bearing a separated 3 piece patch on the back. The top rocker patch is the club name, the center patch is their logo, and the bottom rocker is the city, area, or state they ride in. They follow traditional type bylaws and have a definite chain of command to follow and elected club officers. They have regular meetings and often required attendance for meetings and/or events. Riding clubs vary a lot, but typically have some sort of structure like a motorcycle club. In a riding club the members don't wear the 3 piece patch. Some riding clubs don't wear leather vests at all. If they do wear a leather vest they may have a 1 or 2 piece patch on the back. They usually have a chain of command and appointed or elected club officers. The Harley Owners Group (HOG) is a familiar example of a riding club. A riding group has little to no structure. They likely are just a group of riders that may share some similar interests. They may have clothing items such as T-shirts or hats instead of a leather vest and patch. They likely don't have elected or appointed officers nor a chain of command. Check out our COMPLETE REVIEW Check out these awesome cell phone mounts No additional cost to your, but we get a small commission for each sale. Because of television, media, and the actions of the minority (less than 1%) biker criminal element people are overly interested in motorcycle clubs. Always remember that 99% of motorcyclists/bikers are hard working law abiding people. Other people and even other motorcyclists may ask, why not just ride together? What's the point of joining a club and wearing a patch? To quickly put things into perspective for these individuals I ask a few simple questions. Why are people in organized church groups? Why are people in tennis clubs, or golf clubs? Why are boys in Boy Scouts and girls in Girl Scouts? Certainly Boy Scouts could just get together and camp or hike. Why do they have to have uniforms, a structure, wear status patches, and have a chain of command? Why do sports teams wear uniforms and have a leader (coach)? Because, it is basic human nature to want to earn the right and belong to something we consider special and elite. Something special to share with like minded individuals. This often takes the form of wearing something that represents that club or group. Look all around you and you will see special interest groups and clubs everywhere. So, lay off motorcycle clubs already and move on. Here are a few things that a club or organization may offer aside from just "getting together". A sense of pride Teamwork Brotherhood Chain of command Organization of the team/club/group Sense of order Sense of achievement A means to advance your mission or purpose Let's talk specifically about why motorcyclists/bikers may join a club instead of just "getting together." Many join motorcycle clubs because the club offers something they're wanting such as brotherhood. Some may not have a family and will turn to a tight brotherhood as their family. That biker will be given a place within the club structure just as he would in a true family setting. He will be taken care of by his club when he calls upon them. It gives individuals a sense of structure and order, which many desire. For those motorcycle clubs that you have to work hard to gain full membership and be awarded the 3 piece patch, there is a sense of a great achievement, which is a basic human need. It is a very proud moment to be accepted into a club. Further, they will have many to call upon to go riding, which should be their first passion. They may want to help their community and contribute to a larger goal. Many clubs are heavily into fundraising and a club structure is usually warranted to manage these activities. Of course criminal type biker clubs (outlaw motorcycle gangs) are in it for other illegal purposes and to further their activities with like-minded individuals. There are many different types of clubs that motorcyclists/bikers find support in. There are many Christian motorcycle clubs for those that also ride. There are sober riding clubs for recovering alcoholics. There are biker clubs for those who got out of jail or are recovering from drug use. The list goes on and on. A biker club environment gives individuals a support group, purpose, and something to hang on to. Many motorcycle clubs are active or retired military personnel. These individuals have a very close brotherhood when active, overseas, or in combat. They have to completely rely on each other during these times and become accustomed to that brotherhood and total trust. They become used to daily structure and a chain of command. When they return to the civilian world they find that those things do not regularly exist, but they do inside many motorcycle clubs. They don't want to just "get together", but want that structure, brotherhood, and belonging they miss. So, here are many of the reasons I am involved in motorcycle clubs and helped establish the Sworn Few MC. You see, just because we work together does not mean officers all hang out together off duty. Just like other jobs, we don't necessarily care for everyone we work with. We remain vigilant while on duty and would protect and work with any of our own. However, when we clock out and head for our days off we want to get away from those persons and the job. We are forced to work with many, but in a motorcycle club we make the rules and decide who can join. Nobody else has any authority to tell us how to run our club and of course that is a feeling of satisfaction. We only want to hang out with true brothers and our restricted member motorcycle club gives us a perceived barrier of protection. Many know that it is extremely difficult to even try to get into our motorcycle club. The Sworn Few MC is very structured by design. We have a very clean look and patches can only be worn in a certain way, which gives us uniformity among the other clubs. We don't clutter our vests with miscellaneous patches and pins. All members where the same exact high quality leather vest. When we roll up to an event we all ride in a certain way and in a professional manner. All members must have a set riding proficiency. We are known within the community and have a good reputation. We take extreme pride in the way our club rolls and that gives us all pride and a sense of achievement. We work hard to maintain this, which brings us all closer together. As stated earlier, motorcycle clubs in general have gotten a bad rap. We roll the way we do to change the public's perception about motorcycle clubs. We do everything we can to let them know that 99% of bikers are good law abiding people. So, we are not just professional for the reputation of our club, but for all law abiding motorcycle clubs. We believe it is all our responsibilities to change public's perception. We are making sure the mystery of the 3 piece patch goes away. Law abiding biker clubs are growing faster than ever and that will continue. OUR B&H PHOTO VIDEO AFFILIATE LINK: Want to support us Bikaholics? Need some awesome tech gear? Check out all the deals at B&H Photo Video Photography, Video, Computers, Audio, TV's & more! Most the time they have the best prices then Amazon. Fast shipping! Where I buy all my tech equipment for Law Abiding Biker Podcast & Media! No additional cost to you, but we get a small commission for each sale. We are involved in some fundraising and charity, but we don't let it rule our club. First and foremost we are about hard core riding and brotherhood. A big reason we became an actual club is because we were able to obtain a non-profit tax exempt status for fundraising. You could not do this without organizing and having a club structure. To be a non-profit you must have officers and regular meetings with notes. So, just "getting together" would not cut it. We have a very strict if not the most strict processes for obtaining full membership and we are proud of that. Nobody sneaks in the back door of the Sworn Few LEMC. Because of the very hard work, time, and dedication it takes to get into the club, brothers feel a huge sense of achievement that can never be taken away. We don't recruit and only the strongest of law enforcement bikers seek us out for possible membership. You won't find these sorts of things if you just "get together." Running these strict membership processes brings our brotherhood even closer together. We are all vigilant to make certain we get nothing but the highest quality of members. I will say that for many years some of us used to just ride together and were not in a club of any kind. We were brothers, but the pride that comes along with what we have established made us that much closer. Each of us earned our place, worked very hard, and bonded in the processes. We enjoy riding with our colors and letting all other biker clubs and the community know that we are always out there. Wearing that earned vest and 3 piece patch is something to be proud of and you can't get that feeling by just "riding together." In closing, as you can see a motorcycle club is no different from any other organized club, team, or group that are all around us. Humans have an inherent need to belong and bond with like-minded people. We just happen to ride a motorcycle instead of swing a golf club. There are many considerations to take into account before joining a club, but hopefully this will help you make your decision and answer your questions. There are an array of different motorcycle clubs out there and operate in completely different ways. Take your time and be cautions and educated before jumping into things. The most important thing is if a motorcycle club just sells its patches to you and you are granted instant membership then you will likely not enjoy any of the benefits you have just read about. That is not much different than just "getting together." Understand, I am not speaking badly about clubs that do that, but just something for you to consider. For many it is all they want and it works just fine. It all comes down to what you are looking for and your personal needs and wants. ________________________________________________________________ CHECK US OUT AND SUBSCRIBE:   Website: http://www.LawAbidingBiker.com   Email & Voicemail: http://www.LawAbidingBiker.com/Contact   Phone Hotline: 509-731-3548   Twitter: https://twitter.com/LawAbidingBiker   Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/lawabidingbiker        YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/scrappy587     Google Plus Page: https://plus.google.com/b/104041070580228657262/+Lawabidingbiker587   Instagram: http://instagram.com/lawabidingbiker     RSS: feed://www.LawAbidingBiker.com/feed   iTunes Direct Link to Podcast:  https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/law-abiding-biker-podcast/id622424087    Stitcher Radio: http://www.stitcher.com/podcast/law-abiding-biker-podcast   TuneIn Radio: http://tunein.com/radio/Law-Abiding-Biker-p562288/

Facebook forcing law abiding biker motorcycle clubs to switch from a personal page to a "page": When you start a motorcycle club we suggest you set up a Facebook page instead of a personal profile. The reason is that after you get over a certain amount of friends, Facebook will force you into becoming a page and you will loose all your history and pictures. This recently happened to the Sworn Few Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club. When you have a Facebook page not as many people will see your posts and this is due to Facebook's algorithm. They want you to pay money to "boost" your posts, so more people see it. This is fine for a business, but most of us are non-profit organizations. Clubs are not generally going to pay, so other bikers can see their posts, so this is a bit ridiculous. Once I found that you guys had a Podcast (which I have never listened to Podcasts or even had the app installed) I started listening and have enjoyed every show. Great to hear the info and advice you guys pass on. Keep up the good work fellas! MRT1954 (US) 5 stars Subject: Great Podcast/ August 5, 2014 Lots of great, no BS, information. Facebook page comment: Ron Trusty One of the best web sites I have ever used. If you ow a Harley you need to check this guys out. Emails covered: Jon Philibrick Great job on both vids. I am impressed at the thoroughness of your product, especially noting the time you put into the learning process of the BB functions. You answered my questions on the Navigation areas and so much more on the rest of the different areas. You really overloaded me but at the same time, I now know where to go to find specific answers on the many different areas. And your presentation of the material was down to earth, easy to understand and most of all, functional. Now I have a "go to" reference for my unanswered questions which HD left me and others in the dark. My next purchase will be the BB software video since I anticipate it will be in greater depth than my experience of downloading HD software. So thanks again for your videos and time spent in researching the HD dark holes and producing such a fine product. My response: Thanks so much Jon for the kind words and feedback. It is so nice to hear that all the hard work and going the extra mile is appreciated. I am always concerned that I am creating content that is useful and well presented & as you see trying to make it better. If I feel it is outdated it drives me nuts until I overhaul everything and get it out. I don't want anyone to ever feel like they did not get what they paid for. I'm a bit obsessive….LOL Mark Rosselet of Hilliard, Ohio Is there any certain products that you like to use when cleaning and polishing both the painted and chromed surfaces of the bike. I have tried several but have not found one that I can truly say is the best that I have used. Like to keep the bike looking great so looking for a good solution. My response: I have used much stuff over the years. However, I came across Bug Slide several years ago that that is all I use. It absolutely works on everything. Chrome, Paint, Wheels etc…… Great for a dry cleaning solution. For a wet clean solution I just use regular car soap. The link below is to where I purchase my Bug Slide from (Dakota-Shields). I don't get paid to send you there. So, If you could please take a moment and drop the owner, Dick Peters, a line for me via email or phone I would appreciate it. Tell him that Ryan Urlacher at the Law Abiding Biker Podcast sent you his way and that he should be sponsoring us. That would be great bro. * DAKOTA-SHIELD LINK Daniel Gilbert of Quebec, Canada I'm trying to find information on front rotor replacement for my 2011 flhx. I've seen your video on how to remove the front wheel, but is there anything specific I should know when replacing rotors such as torque specification? My response: There are torque specs you will want to follow for the rotor. Each year is a bit different, so a quick caller to your local dealer and they will tell you. Unless you have a service manual (that is where your dealer will look up the specs). ________________________________________________________________ CHECK US OUT AND SUBSCRIBE:   Website: http://www.LawAbidingBiker.com   Email & Voicemail: http://www.LawAbidingBiker.com/Contact   Phone Hotline: 509-731-3548   Twitter: https://twitter.com/LawAbidingBiker   Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/lawabidingbiker        YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/scrappy587     Google Plus Page: https://plus.google.com/b/104041070580228657262/+Lawabidingbiker587   Instagram: http://instagram.com/lawabidingbiker     RSS: feed://www.LawAbidingBiker.com/feed   iTunes Direct Link to Podcast:  https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/law-abiding-biker-podcast/id622424087    Stitcher Radio: http://www.stitcher.com/podcast/law-abiding-biker-podcast   TuneIn Radio: http://tunein.com/radio/Law-Abiding-Biker-p562288/

LAB-Sons of Anarchy (SOA) | Season 7; Eps 1 & 2-Podcast

COMPLETE SHOW NOTES FORTHCOMING OFFICIAL WEBSITE: http://www.lawabidingbiker.com PODCAST-We are covering Sons of Anarchy television episodes 1 & 2 of season 7 on this Law Abiding Biker Podcast episode and it is absolutely jam packed with information and insight, so take a listen now! Check out the Season 7 Pre-Season episode we did! Want to call us and get your topic on the show or leave us feedback? Listener Line: (509) 731-3548 Computer Voicemail: http://www.lawabidingbiker.com/voicemail Here are some highlights of what we talk about: Jax apparently does not have a vision anymore and only sees what is in front of him. He is meeting with many leaders of the different criminal organizations. In the background Jax is manipulating everyone all in an apparent attempt to gain Henry Lin's, the leader of the "Lin Triad," false trust. Jax wants to later expose this fact to Lin and kill him and his family. This is in response to Gemma lying to Jax and telling all that the Triads are responsible for Tara's death. Jax kills a Triad in episode 1 that Gemma told him murdered Tara. Nero is acting as a politician on both episodes and trying to bring everyone together to avoid a bloody street war. Nero sits down with Charles Berosky, Mayan's MC President Alvarez, the Stockton Mayan's MC President, Jax, and Henry Lin all at different times. Irish leader Connor is led to try and make peace with Henry Lin. Jax is meeting with leader August Marks on the side. Jax  and crew spend time with the Grim Bastards MC President and club members trying to help locate the driver of a blue Impala that ran down some of their members last season (season 6). This takes a weird twist when they locate a blue Impala and break into an apartment. Jax and the crew end up visiting the home of two guys that helped him and the SOA Indian Hill's chapter raid a Triad operation. These two individual were apparently muscle for the Indian Hills chapter per President Jury. Jax and the boys kill both of these individuals and make it look like a drug deal gone bad, using a confiscated brick of heroin they took from the Triad raid. When the Indian Hills President finds the men dead he had a reaction that maybe they were much closer to him than he lead on. He also locates a staged shotgun that he knows Jax and crew used at the Triad raid. The new female Sheriff "Jarry" arrives in charing and hires Unser as a "consultant". Unser is provided with the entire Tara Knowles murder investigation files. Of course this is after Unser is bound, gagged, and held at gunpoint all night by Juice, who is on the run for betraying Jax and the club last season. Juice ends up letting Unser go free. Gemma learns what Juice did to Unser and later finds the murder investigation files in Unser's trailer. Gemma is of course manipulating and trying to protect her secret that she killed Tara. She is trying to find out as much information as she can. She gives juice a cell phone "burner," $4300 cash, the keys to her father's house, and tells him to take Wendy's car. She wants him out of town, as he is causing too many issues. Wendy leaves the drug treatment clinic after only 9 days of 90 days. She finds Juice staying in her home, because Gemma has let him in. This is where he is hiding from the club. You absolutely must listen to this podcast episode if you want to be up to speed on things. We have a ton of content for you and are excited. Season 7 episode 1 of Son's of Anarchy will air on Tuesday September 9, 2014 on FX Networks. Items of interest: The premiere episode picks up ten days after the death of Tara, the beloved wife of the SAMCRO president. However, a bewildered Jax will be seen behind bars for violating a parole. Jax, who is in search of his wife's murderer, will go on a killing spree, eliminating everyone who comes in his way of vengeance. But how will he react when he learns that it's his own flesh and blood, his mother, who killed his wife? Interesting items in the main trailer: The minute-long clip shows an incarcerated Jax (Charlie Hunnam) brutally beating some unseen subject, Jemma (Katey Sagal) scheming, a multi-man Mexican standoff, gunfights, car chases, the Mayans, the Chinese — all set to U2's "Bullet The Blue Sky." Jax says, "I already lost the woman I love. I'm not going to loose my club." He says this while sitting at the meeting table with the club. Later on, Jax's son Abel is seen asking Gemma (Katey Segal), Jax's mom, if his daddy does bad things. She says that Jax is a good man, though it remains to be seen if she'll think the same way once Jax gets wind of the fact that she's the one who killed his beloved Tara. The final seconds of the trailer sees Jax shirtless and not holding back as he kills someone in close range. Your host's season predictions (Ryan, Lurch, Chewy): Lurch: Jax gets the club back into guns and chaos ensues Juice dies at the hands of Jax Jax kills Gemma w/ a suppressed .45 caliber  with the Grim Reaper on the handles then leaves the club and his cut behind Wendy and Jax reunite Tig and Venus (transvestite) hook up and live happily ever after Chewy: Unknown homeless lady is Jax's guardian angel (revealed) Wayne Uncer is killed Gemma and Nero die at the hands of Jax Jax gets out of club and leaves with Wendy & the [Jax's] boys A scene flashes years forward to Abel (Jax's son) at the head of the club (SOA) table Ryan: Jax runs crazy and kills at the beginning of the season trying to avenge his wife's (Tara's) death. Realizes in the end the club is not for him or his boys and leaves the club and cut behind for good Jax does not kill Gemma. Instead he dis-owns her and will not let her see his boys, which punishes her much worse. Eventually, Gemma commits suicide, as she has nothing left. This way Jax doesn't have to personally kill her and it hurts her worse than just killing her outright. Juice gets killed for certain and these are some of the reasons: He shot Sheriff Eli He helped Gemma cover up the death of Tara He spilled Jax's secrets to none other than Nero The infamous "homeless" lady's true identity and character will be revealed Tig will be killed   Our Tech Gripper Cell Phone Motorcycle Mount Affiliate Link: Need a motorcycle cell phone or GPS mounting solutionBikaholics? LAB-55-You're Shopping For Quick Easy Motorcycle Biker Club Colors Huh? | Just Admit It Already

OFFICIAL WEBSITE: ==> http://www.lawabidingbiker.com PODCAST-We dive into a situation the Sworn Few Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club "Big River" Chapter" recently ran into with a hang around. This hang around was secretive and was caught red-handed displaying another club's colors. However, he had not told anyone and was caught off guard when the photos and evidence were presented to him. The Sworn Few LEMC catches things like this , because they have very strict processes and procedures in place for hang around and prospective status. They are certain that they will not get a less than desirable member into the club and their processes proved to work once again. If you are one that is shopping for easy motorcycle club colors then just admit it and move on to the easy route. No hard feelings and you will save yourself time & possible embarrassment. Likely, you will not be proud of your easily obtained club colors, but each to their own. It's hard to be proud of something you didn't earn through hard work and dedication. Want to call us and get your topic on the show or leave us feedback? Listener Line: (509) 731-3548 Computer Voicemail: http://www.lawabidingbiker.com/voicemail The Sworn Few LEMC absolutely has minimum time periods for hang around and prospective status. They have many protections in place and conduct thorough ongoing background checks. They monitor what hang around and prospects are doing at all times. They will meet your wife and family and will know everything about you. They will know more about you and your life than your own law enforcement agency you work for does. It is not enough that you are a law enforcement officer. That simply means the SFMC "may" look at you if you request membership. They don't and will never recruit for members. They are tight and only those that really want to be a Sworn Few LEMC member will make it. Every law abiding biker club should absolutely take bringing on new members extremely serious. It is the one thing that can save your club from disaster. We have all heard and observed clubs falling apart and members leaving, because of one or two bad apples. Don't let this happen to your club. Stop it before it every ever happens. If you want to learn more about the processes involved in starting a Sworn Few LEMC Chapter or becoming a member you can listen to Episode #33 of the podcast. That is where we refer all requests when they first come in. Email 1: Alejandro Guevera of Hialeah, FL Just donated $ to your site. I did this because I ran across your YouTube videos and followed thru on downloading your pod casts. You are doing a great job my friend on spreading knowledge and experience to the biker community. I love riding and truly enjoy reading and listening to anything regarding motorcycles. I am currently saving to buy my Harley Street Glide just like your 2014. Very sweet ride you have. Anyways, keep up the great job. Also, great interview with the gentleman from Mettle Alliance MC. I have a brother and sister both employed as paramedics here in the city of Hialeah, FL. I myself got hired to attend police academy for Miami-Dade, but unfortunately had to resign due to marital issues. Go figure, I got divorced after any ways (ironic). Hope Mettle Alliance starts up a south florida chapter soon. Keep up the great work and stay safe riding and most important at work. Thank you for making our nations street safe! God bless. Send us a donation to help us out Email 2: Bryan of Surprise, AZ Just wanted to say thank you for posting DYI videos. Although I do know my way around anything mechanical ,I am constantly searching for easier , less expensive ways to complete a job. I purchased your service video for the flhxs recently and it saved me time and lots of cash and I thank you for that. I do have a question regarding the saddlebag that came off. Here is the situation: Having spent over 7 years in the Army, PMCS is part of my daily routine when riding. Part of my routine, I check my bags to insure they are secure. I am not sure if you have heard of any problems with the quick release pins coming loose, but I have, so I check it every time i take off. I went to the dealership after the incident. They took pics and sent it up the chain to see if it would be covered. I just received a call back and was told the pics were to blurry and was asked to come back in today. Any thoughts on how to handle this matter if they deny my claim? Thank You for any help or advice y ou might have. I can be reached at the number below. Follow up from Bryan: Hey Ryan , thank you for your response.. Just got back from HD. They took more pics and inspected the other bag. The tech noticed both my release pins were missing the washers..long story short... I had to write a sworn statement saying I did not remove the washers... I should here back from them by next week .. I will keep you guys posted... Thanks again for your response ! Ride safe and God's Speed ! LAB-53-Kutter Harley, Vance & Hines, & DynoJet on Notice | Join us Bikaholics!

Call the listener line @ (509) 731-3548 Or leave a voicemail right from your computer: http://www.lawabidingbiker.com/voicemail OFFICIAL WEBSITE: http://www.lawabidingbiker.com   PODCAST-We have a very large listenership, which continues to grow. We owe that to the Law Abiding Biker Community! We certainly hope that it is because we put out content bikers want to hear & work very hard at this thing. You have all heard us talk about motorcycle products and companies and because of that these companies have cashed in and sold many items. We think is time these companies start giving back to the biker community. So, we are going to respectfully put companies we believe in "On Notice" from time to time. That means we are calling them out and we hope you join in with us. These companies should be sponsoring the very popular Law Abiding Biker Podcast and YouTube Channel. Additionally, we believe some coupon codes and such would be nice for the biker community. Remember, the motorcycling majority (the 99%ers) are the reason these companies thrive. We spend a ridiculous amount of money on motorcycle's and motorcycle related products. We can certainly choose where we spend our hard earned money and that should only be on companies that are willing to give back a bit and recognized the importance of their customers & the biker community. Some of these companies have been asked, but at this point have decided not to support us or you yet. Let's make them realize how large we are. We strongly encourage you to help us by clicking these company's social links below and calling them out publicly with us. By helping us you can assure this content keeps coming your way and more often. The biker community has a ton of power if we all get together. Say something like this: (cut & paste if you like) "[Put the Company's Social Media Name Here] should be supporting the Law Abiding Biker Podcast & YouTube Channel & the biker community is watching: http://www.lawabidingbiker.com" Here are the companies we are calling out today along with their social media links: DynoJet Research (we have asked, but they have not yet stepped up yet) We have done several videos and blogs, thus selling a ton of units for them. I've pretty much made up my mind on V&H dresser duels and CFRs. I've also decided to go with the dynojet power commander V. Which I'll defiantly be purchasing your installment video. The only thing I'm not sure about is the air breather. I like the Roland Sands Design black ops turbine air filter, just cause it looks good. I've read some bad reviews about it filling up with oil and it leaking. I want to get your thoughts on everything. Thanks and again, keep up the good work." MY RESPONSE: "I actually like the stock air intake on the SGS and am going to leave mine as is. My SGS has great performance with the V&H Twin Slash Rounds ( http://www.lawabidingbiker.com/twinslashrounds), EFI map download, and the air intake. It just runs so great and I don't mind the looks of the stock intake. On past bikes I changed the air intake for some performance, but mostly looks. Unless I did something more to the bike I don't think any aftermarket intake is going to give me any performance I would notice. It would be strictly a "looks" deal if I ever change my mind."   ________________________________________________________________ CHECK US OUT AND SUBSCRIBE:   Website: http://www.LawAbidingBiker.com   Email & Voicemail: http://www.LawAbidingBiker.com/Contact   Phone Hotline: 509-731-3548   Twitter: https://twitter.com/LawAbidingBiker   Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/lawabidingbiker        YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/scrappy587     Google Plus Page: https://plus.google.com/+Lawabidingbiker587   Instagram: http://instagram.com/lawabidingbiker     RSS: feed://www.LawAbidingBiker.com/feed   iTunes Direct Link to Podcast:  https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/law-abiding-biker-podcast/id622424087    Stitcher Radio: http://www.stitcher.com/podcast/law-abiding-biker-podcast   TuneIn Radio: http://tunein.com/radio/Law-Abiding-Biker-p562288/

LAB-52-State Mandated Tiered Motorcycle Licensing-Really? | Issues and Facts

PODCAST-Podcast listener line is (509) 731-3548. You can also leave a voicemail right from your computer at http://www.lawabidingbiker.com/voicemail. Thanks to all that have called in an become involved with the law abiding biker community! We get into the recent hot subject of Tiered Motorcycle Licensing. Tiered licensing is when a State decides that they will issue several different classes of motorcycle licenses to a rider. The class of license you will receive is solely the amount off CC's your motor is when you take the skills test. For example, if you were to pass on a 250cc you would not be able to ride anything bigger unless you came in on a bigger cc motorcycle and passed the skills test. There is usually an "unlimited class" for say example, anything over 750 cc. This has been implemented differently in different states over time. The fact of the matter is that many states have abandoned the old tired licensing program, because over time there was no hard evidence or statistics that this program somehow reduced motorcycle collisions. We disagree with tiered motorcycle licensing all together and with good reason. You will have to listen in to find out the facts of the matter. The issue recently heated back up when the State of Illinois decided they may implement it based on recent statistics that their motorcycle fatality collisions are on the rise. I live in Washington State and many years ago we had tiered licensing, but eventually got rid of it. There is no hard evidence New Affiliate We have a new affiliate with B&H Photo Video. At no additional cost to you, one can click through the link to purchase and item and we get a small commission. This is a way you can help us out. Tom Henderson of White River Junction, Vermont You seem to explain things real well, I have a 2014 limited with the Hd street cannons , stage 1 download and Ventilator Air. I get a lot of decal popping when down shifting in third and second gear about 1850 to 2300 in rpms, I have had the deal check for leaks and they could not find any, I also used copper silicone and still pops. I see you changed your pipes and was wondering if you had the same issue. The dealer says this is a normal condition , other tell me to buy a tuner and tune it out.. Also before the street cannon,s I had 4" Rhineharts and they did not decal pop, would you know why? And what are your thoughts.. Maybe the street cannons this is a common thing. You have the Vance and nine and I was thinking of swapping ton them. MY Response: My 2011 Harley Davidson with Vance and Hines True Duals popped. My 2005 Harley with Vance and Hines Big Radius popped a lot. My 2014 with Vance and Hines Twin Slash Rounds does not pop. It certainly depends on the baffles you have and whether or not it is a 2 into 1 into 2 system like my Twin Slash Rounds are. ________________________________________________________________ CHECK US OUT AND SUBSCRIBE:   Website: http://www.LawAbidingBiker.com   Email & Voicemail: http://www.LawAbidingBiker.com/Contact   Phone Hotline: 509-731-3548   Twitter: https://twitter.com/LawAbidingBiker   Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/lawabidingbiker        YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/scrappy587     Google Plus Page: https://plus.google.com/+Lawabidingbiker587   Instagram: http://instagram.com/lawabidingbiker     RSS: feed://www.LawAbidingBiker.com/feed   iTunes Direct Link to Podcast:  https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/law-abiding-biker-podcast/id622424087    Stitcher Radio: http://www.stitcher.com/podcast/law-abiding-biker-podcast   TuneIn Radio: http://tunein.com/radio/Law-Abiding-Biker-p562288/

LAB-51-Stuck at a Red Light on a Motorcycle | Laws & Issues | Harley Ride Planner App

MAIN WEBSITE: http://www.lawabidingbiker.com LISTENER HOTLINE: (509) 731-3548 PODCAST-Ever been stuck at a traffic light that takes an excruciating amount of time — what feels like hours — to turn green? Imagine that as a daily occurrence. That is what it's like for some motorcyclists/bikers due to sensors at some intersections that don't recognize when lightweight vehicles arrive. During the last legislative session, a new section was added to Chapter 46.61 RCW in Washington State that allows the operator of a street legal motorcycle to make a left turn, after stopping at an intersection that is controlled by a triggered traffic control signal, if the device fails to operate after one cycle of the traffic signal. Other states have had laws for some time and they are often referred to as "Safe on Red Laws". Safe-on-red laws vary by state on how they address the issue, but they all include basic instructions on how one can legally run a red light. In general, the guidelines say motorcyclists must wait at the light for a predetermined amount of time and then only proceeding through the intersection if it's free of cross traffic or pedestrians. States with "Safe on Red Laws" are listed here: Arkansas - In effect since 2005, state law allows a motorcyclist to proceed with caution, after coming to a full and complete stop, through a red light that fails to detect the bike. (Arkansas Code section 27-52-206) Idaho – (2006) If a signal fails to operate after one cycle of the traffic light that a motorcyclist may proceed, using due caution and care, after coming to a full and complete stop at the intersection. (Statute 49-802) Illinois - (2012) Permits a driver of a motorcycles or bicycle facing a red light that fails to change within a reasonable period of time of not less than 120 seconds to proceed after yielding the right-of-way to any oncoming traffic. However, this law doesn't apply to municipalities of over 2,000,000 people – such as Chicago. (625 ILCS 5/11-306) Minnesota - (2002) A person operating a bicycle or motorcycle who runs a red light has an affirmative defense if the driver first came to a complete stop, the traffic light stayed red for an unreasonable amount of time and appeared not to detect the vehicle and no motor vehicles or people were approaching the street. (Statute 169.06) Missouri – (2009) State law tells both motorcyclists and bicyclists that run red lights that they have an affirmative defense if they brought their vehicle to a complete stop, the light was red for an unreasonable time period, and there were no motor vehicle or person approaching. (Statute 304.285) Nevada - (2013) Those using motorcycles, bicycles, mopeds, and tri-mobiles are allowed to proceed through an intersection with a red light after waiting for two traffic light cycles, and they yield to other vehicle traffic or pedestrians. (Statute 484B.307) North Carolina - (2007) Motorcyclists are permitted to move cautiously through a steady red light after coming to a complete stop and waiting a minimum of three minutes and if no other vehicle or pedestrians are approaching the intersection. (NCGS 20-158) Oklahoma - (2010) Motorcycles can proceed cautiously through a steady red light intersection after a making a complete stop and if no other motor vehicle or person is approaching the roadway. (Statute 47-11-202) South Carolina - (2008) After making a complete stop and waiting for a minimum of 120 seconds, the driver of a motorcycle, moped, or bicycle may treat a steady red light that doesn't change as a stop sign and proceed with caution. (S.C. Code 56-5-970) Tennessee - (2003) After coming to a complete stop, motorcyclists and bicyclists may proceed through a steady red light when it is safe to do so. (Tennessee Traffic Control Signals 55-8-110) Virginia – (2011) Drivers of motorcycles, mopeds, and bicycles may move with caution through non-responsive red lights as long as they yield the right-of-way to others approaching the intersection, and have come to a complete stop for two complete light cycles or 120 seconds, whichever is shorter.(Statute 46-2-833) Wisconsin - (2006) A motorcycle, moped or bicycle is permitted to run a steady red light after making a complete stop and waiting at least 45 seconds and then yields the right–of-way to any vehicular traffic or pedestrians using the intersection. (Statute 346.37) In early 2013, Nebraska introduced Bill LB 85 proposing a safe-on-red law, but the bill currently has a status of "indefinitely postponed." Cell Phone Motorcycle Mount: We want to remind everyone that we did a complete review video and blog on cell phone motorcycle mounts from Power Sports US. We really like the mounts and if you order a cell phone or GPS mount please consider using our Power Sports US AFFILIATE LINK and we get a small kick back, which helps keep the content coming your way. Harley Davidson Ride Planner App Review: (listen to this podcast episode to get the full review) So, I strongly encourage all bikers/motorcyclists to use the free Harley Davidson Ride Planner, regardless of what make of motorcycle you ride, to route and map your next motorcycle ride. Everyone can access Harley Ride Planner on the main Harley Davidson website. You just need to set up a free user and password and you are on your way. I did a complete Harley Ride Planner tutorial video on using the ride planner some time back & it has become very popular. In this [tutorial video] you will learn how to completely plan a ride with Ride Planner, save it, download it, and upload it into your Harley Davidson approved GPS system. There is also a free smartphone app that Harley puts out for free. The app can be useful if you don't have a GPS, but after thoroughly testing it we found some real drawbacks. If you save your rides online they do show up on your mobile app, which is pretty cool. There are listed turn by turn directions that you can read too. You can zoom in on your ride and see the route and it looks similar to Google Maps. Additionally, it shows all your way points and the addresses in the list view. It even has a little social media aspect and you can show the community particular restaurants you were at. The Ride Planner app has some serious flaws, like being completely inaccurate on the mileage to your next way point. And it tends to change that mileage figure when it wants. So, we would have to jump over into Google Maps when planning the next day and put our current location to the next way point location to get the actual mileage. Also, it lacks voice turn by turn directions. However, I doubt Harley will change this as they want you to purchase their GPS units or buy a new Harley model with the all new built in Boom Box Infotainment system. I do love the Harley Boom Box system that is on my 2014 Street Glide Special and I did a very thorough tutorial video on how to operate that system. That video is super popular, so check it out. Here are several Law Abiding Biker videos that you may be interested in on motorcycle ride planning, GPS Boom Box operations, and updating your Boom Box software: Boom Box Infotainment Boom Box Software Update Harley Davidson Ride Planner Emails 1: Robert Nelson of Bend, OR This is my second time visiting your site, seems to get cooler each time I take a peek! I plan on purchasing your video on installing heated grips. I like your logic for choosing HD brand but I'm not impresed with their selection. Are you aware of other brands that use similar technology (not a fan of Heat Demon-in the bar element). I like the Avon all black "air cushion" style. HD's all black version reminds me of my stock grips (2013 Road Glide). I look forward to learning more about your MC. MY RESPONSE: Very cool bro & thanks for your kind words. On our way back from our 7 day motorcycle trip we came back through Bend. We had a few frosties at Deschuttes Brewery. Of course I had to stop by Goodies and get my girls a bunch of candy to bring back. Anyways, unfortunately nobody else really has the same technology on heated grips. I too do not like the Heat Demon in bar elements. I think they are junk and you have to put a separate box on your handlebars. For some reason good quality heated aftermarket grips are hard to come by. 2: Listener Gary Kreamer Bought new tires off the internet for my 2006 street glide. I guess that was a big mistake because no one around here {shops] will take off and install. Want you to buy from them. [ I understand now ] Not sure what to do now. Watch your video on you tube and afraid I might screw up. Been only riding 1 1/2 year from a 25 yr s of not riding. Lost. My response I have purchased tires from the internet many times. Just find any bike shop, not a Harley Dealer, and they will do it for a small fee. All bike shops have tire machines and know how to remove/replace tires/wheels. No, this episode is not really as long as it may look for the overall episode time (kind of). We just put some bonus content at the end of the regular episode that lasts about 45 minutes longer. I have been working hard over the last 2 months developing and designing a brand new Law Abiding Biker Podcast and Media website. I was able to finally launch it about a week ago, so enjoy http://www.lawabidingbiker.com. I wanted the new website to be clean and very user friendly, so I hope it is a good experience for you each time you visit. The main topic of this episode is the recent 7 day motorcycle trip that members of the Sworn Few Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club took through Oregon, California, Nevada, and Washington. We have some useful information and things that came up along with some interesting and funny stories. Harley Davidson Front Brake Line Recall Harley-Davidson has issued a massive recall for its ABS-equipped 2014 Touring models. The recall notice affects 66,421 units. At issue is placement of the bike's front brake line, which may become pinched between the fuel tank and frame and potentially lock-up the front wheel. I just got the recall taken care of on my 2014 Harley Davidson Street Glide Special and it took about 20 minutes at the dealer. The mechanics remove your gas tank, inspect the brake line for damage, and then put two zip ties (cable straps) to keep the line in place so it can't get pinched. Here are the Harley Davidson models that may are affected. For this most recent brake line recall, H-D owners can contact Harley-Davidson customer service at 1-800-258-2464. The affected recall units are from the models listed below manufactured from July 1, 2013 through May 7, 2014: 2014 FLHP Road King Police 2014 FLHR Road King 2014 FLHRC Road King Classic 2014 FLHRSE CVO Road King 2014 FLHTCU Electra Glide Ultra Classic 2014 FLHTCUTC (Uncertain on specific model, but potentially FLHTCUTG Tri Glide Ultra Trike) 2014 FLHTK Electra Glide Ultra Limited 2014 FLHTKSE CVO Limited 2014 FLHTKSHRINE Electra Glide Ultra Limited Shrine Edition 2014 FLHTP Electra Glide Police 2014 FLHX Street Glide 2014 FLHXS Street Glide Special 2014 FLHXSHRINE Street Glide Shrine Edition Emails covered: Email: Kim Pharris of Huntington, TX My husband & I just bought 2014 Street Glide Specials and haven't been able to find rear lowering kits. LAB-49-Swimming in Emails & New Jacksonville Beach Biker Shooting Info

Leave us a voicemail at: (509) 731-3548 Our official website is at: ==> http://www.lawabidingbiker.com PODCAST-Get ready to dig deep into the email bag on this episode bikaholics! We have been so busy covering other topics on the podcast that the emails have been stacking. We cover an array of things that are a directly result of emails we have received. We really appreciate the emails everyone, so keep them coming. You can send us an email or leave us a voicemail anytime! I start out with an announcement reference the fatal biker shooting that occurred on June 26, 2014 around 8:00 PM outside Nippers Bar Grille in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. We covered this in depth on Episode #48, so check it out. After that episode aired I was contacted by a high ranking official of the Iron Order Motorcycle Club (IOMC) and that speaks volumes for the Iron Order Motorcycle Club. The official was appreciative of our fair and balanced coverage of the shooting incident. This high ranking official is very open to an interview right here on the Law Abiding Biker Podcast. However, he wishes to wait until the true facts of the fatal biker shooting are released to the public. The Iron Order MC does not wish to interfere with the Jacksonville Beach Police Department's or the State Attorney's Office ongoing investigation. As a President of a motorcycle club myself, I must say that I would likely make the same decision. It is stated by the IOMC official that they are in fact a "law abiding biker" motorcycle club. Over the years that has certainly been my perception of the IOMC based on my personal contact with members. The Iron Order MC does have a very open website with pictures of members and exactly what they stand for. They are not secretive at all. Of course, that is completely unlike outlaw motorcycle gang websites that contain very little or no information. OMG's obviously have much to hide, so they can't be open like law abiding biker clubs on their websites. I did learn from the official that the Iron Order MC member that was involved in the fatal shooting was never in custody, booked into jail, and is free right now. Also, I may have stated that Nippers is a "bar" in Episode #48 and I was incorrect. Nippers is described as an upscale family restaurant. The patrons and many witnesses present that night were not bikers and were families and children. We must let the legal processes take place and know that the videos, witnesses, and forensic evidence in this case will reveal the truth in time. So, look forward loyal listeners to an upcoming interview with the IOMC Official after the facts are released. We will of course keep you up to date on this situation as it unfolds in the meantime. We will let you know of any information that appears to be valid in nature. Again, I caution you to be very careful about where you get your information on the matter. There are some internet trolls out there reporting on the incident with no actual information, who are obviously very biased. If a source is already judging one side or the other without much information then that should probably be a red flag that they have an agenda. Emails, YouTube, Website Comments, Purchases Email 1 Johnny Galloway of Sydney, Austrailia Hey guys, Just a quick note to say hello from Sydney Australia. I have listened to all of your podcasts which I really enjoy, funny and informative. Also find the YouTube videos very helpful. My Response: I really appreciate the contact! I'm super glad you like the podcast & videos. To give me an idea of how expensive Harley dealers are in your area; what does a regular service oil change cost?I would love it if you kept us up to date on everything that is going on over there with the biker scene. YouTube New comment a YouTube video "How to remove install rear wheel tire of Haley Davidson Motorcycle" www.lawabidingbiker.com/rearwheelMY RESPONSE: Thanks for the DONATION wtduryea! I'm really glad you liked the video. Wow, that sound like a bitch of an axle to get out. You bring up a good point for bikers watching this. Make sure your axle always has plenty of Anti-Seize grease on it. Put some extra on when you put it back on. Thanks for everything and ride safe.* Walter Duryea (also donated) Thanks for the video. I have done my '04 Dyna Super Glide before so I used the video as a refresher when I changed tires on my new (used) '06 Wide Glide, The Bike only has 14, 000 miles on it but the axle was a bear to remove. I soaked it with penetrating oil, used an old nut on the left side and had to pound the living daylights out of it. It was a corroded mess. Emery cloth and some elbow grease solved the problem and I reassembled it with a good dose of Anti-Seize. I'll be throwing a few shekels your way for the video. Email 3 VIA EMAIL AFTER PURCHASING BOOM BOX SOFTWARE UPDATE VIDEO www.LawAbidingBiker.com/BoomBoxSoftware Thomas Medeiros of Hawii Aloha from Hawaii......Ryan your video was very helpful and I learn a lot from it, I will keep you in mine and on my lap top. Email 4 VIA EMAIL AFTER PURCHASING HARLEY MAINTENANCE VIDEO www.LawAbidingBiker.com/2014HarleyMaintenance Tom Carter: Hi Ryan, The video was great and very complete. My only question is how to check the primary oil level. I have enjoyed your videos in the past and this is the first one I have purchased and I am glad I did. I have done my own service and was never quite sure I did things right. Now I am. Your video was one if not the best How to video I have seen. Great detail and very good picture. Thanks again Keep up the good work. MY RESPONSE: Thanks so much for the feedback brother!! I'm very glad you liked the video. The only way to check the primary drive oil level is by visual inspection w/ the bike level & a flashlight. You must have the clutch inspection (derby) round cover off. The oil should be about 1/4 inch over the bottom of the clutch plate. Email 5 From Ron Houle of Apple Valley, MN (Minnesota) Purchaser of the Ride Planner Video http://www.lawabidingbiker.com/RidePlanner Enjoyed you video on the 2014 Boombox and HD Trip Planner. Really appreciate that! Now I have another question. Can you, or have you done one that covers the chain drive or open belt primary drive? What are the differences? What are the pro's and con's? I am thinking about installing 3.35" Open Belt Primary Drive Street Style for Harley-Davidson from Demon cycles SKU: Open Primary 58730, made by Ultima. I have posted the link below. I own a 2005 Harley Davidson Night Train. I have thought about doing this for a while, but I am concerned that once I install one, I am not going to like it. Email 9 From Gregg Anderson of Englewood, OH Ryan, Apprecieate your direct and honest approach to teaching us motorcyclists how to do routine maintenance on our bikes. You give me the confidence to do it first of all, and it saves me money to boot. Could you answer a few questions I have about changing the oil on my 2011 HD Superglide Custom? 1. What are your thoughts about using Mobile 1 mortor oil? A fellow HD owner says it allows his bike to run ~10 degrees cooler. If Mobile 1 is OK in your estimation, what grade of Mobile 1 would you recommend? 2. In the video I watched, your friend used a torque wrench to tighten the screws on the Derby cover. What brand of torque wrench was that? Any recommendations as to what wrench to buy? Did it use a 1/4" drive? Would you like to have both in-lbs and newton-meter scales on the wrench? Would you prefer a wrench that once it reaches the torque setting and clicks that it no longer can tighten, i.e. it turns freely after that? Or does it matter? MY RESPONSE: Thanks for the contact and feedback brother. o answer your question about lubrications listen to our in depth Law Abiding Biker Podcast Episode #26 on this matter. It will answer all your questions about oils, weights, and Mobile 1. There is also an in depth blog there I wrote. ==> www.LawAbidingBiker.com/26. I use Craftsman tools (Sears), which is the torque wrench you saw. That one is a 3/8 inch drive. I would suggest getting a 3/8 inch drive torque wrench that reads inch pounds (likely will have Newton Meters on it too.) Then get a second larger 1/2 inch drive torque wrench reading in foot pounds for larger projects. Once my wrench reaches the torque setting it clicks and then will turn after that. It seems to work fine for me. I just stop at the click. Hope that helps... LAB-48-"Bike Night" Shooting Jacksonville Beach, FL | Motorcycle Readiness & Packing for a Long Motorcycle Trip

Call us at: (509) 731-3548 Our official website is: http://www.lawabidingbiker.com PODCAST-We start out by diving into the reported fatal shooting that occurred on June 26, 2014 around 8:00 PM outside Nippers Bar Grille in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. The Jacksonville Beach Police Department has identified the deceased as 40-year-old Zachariah Tipton. There is very little preliminary information at this point & it is being investigated thoroughly. Unlike other less than credible motorcycle related sources that have reported on the matter, we here at Law Abiding Biker Podcast & Media hold ourselves to a higher standard. We are different and try to be as fair and balanced as we possibly can. Unlike other sources, we are not taking sides when there is very little information to do so at this point. It would be plain ignorance to do so. Regardless of what motorcycle club the deceased and shooter may have been involved with, we will wait and follow up on this story as real information comes forth. Here are the basics at this point until further information comes out: It does appear that it was "bike night" at Nippers Bar Grille. Per sources, there were members of multiple motorcycle clubs wearing colors. A member of the Iron Order Motorcycle Club and a member of the Black Pistons Motorcycle Club had some sort of exchange. At some point, the Iron Order MC member shot and killed the Black Pistons MC member. The Jacksonville Beach Police Department is investigating the incident and there were apparently hundreds of others present at the event that need to be interviewed. Per the Iron Order MC website they are a lawful motorcycle club. They specifically state that they are not 1% ers. I do have some personal experience with the Iron Order MC and they have always been friendly and respectful at motorcycle events. They do have law enforcement members, but the club is not exclusive and has members from many walks of life. Here is a quote taken directly from the Iron Order MC website. "If you are law abiding, desire strong brotherhood and riding a motorcycle is not a solo event, maybe we are for you." The Black Pistons make no attempt to hide the fact that they are a support (puppet) club to the Outlaws Motorcycle Club. The Outlaws MC makes no attempt to hide the fact that they are an outlaw motorcycle gang (OMG) and claim 1%. Their website looks like most other boring OMG websites with very little actual information. I have no personal experience with any Black Pistons MC club members. Even with this information we are fair and balanced and will wait until the facts of this incident emerge! Then we can start forming an educated opinion. So, the rest is completely speculation at this point. Beware of what sources you choose on reporting truths about this incident. If a source is already judging one side or the other without much information then that should probably be a red flag that they have an agenda. No agenda here at Law Abiding Biker Podcast & Media, but only the truth backed by information will come when it is available, so stay tuned. Main Topic Our main topic of this episode comes from an email sent in by loyal listener and supporter James Dimitrious of California. James writes, "As you guys get ready for example your upcoming California trip, any particular safety or bike things to bring, things to have done to your bikes before leaving, etc. Probably already have this on a piece of paper for a future podcast, but who knows!" Things the Sworn Few Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club does prior to taking a long distance motorcycle trip and the things we bring along: Secretary LawDog (LD) of the Sworn Few MC Mother Chapter updates his emergency contact list for each patched member going and also for any prospective members or hang arounds. We talk about what the Mettle Republic PSMC is all about, when it was founded, what the colors mean, the three piece patch, membership, officer positions, and so much more. You really must listen to this podcast episode to get all the details. Paul is very involved with the law abiding biker community. I talk with Paul about a newly formed organization named "The Alliance" that he is very involved with. The Alliance is dedicated to bringing all law abiding biker (LAB) clubs together for communication purposes, intelligence sharing, and cross-club brotherhood. The Alliance is very new at this point, but things are moving forward. There is no website right now, but you can check out the FaceBook Page to learn more and get involved. Keep checking in, as they have plans to launch a website. In Law Abiding Biker Podcast Episode #45 I interviewed John and Jossalyn Larson of the Blue Daos MC, who are also very involved with "The Alliance". Mettle Republic Motorcycle Club The following is written and approved by National Road Captain of the Mettle Republic Motorcycle Club Paul "Pablo" Harnett: The Mettle Republic PSMC is a law abiding, family friendly, socially responsible motorcycle club. Our members come primarily from the ranks of Law Enforcement, Fire, EMS, and military personnel. We allow select civilians and family members as well. Our goal was to be as inclusive as possible. The only absolute disqualifier from membership is a felony criminal record. All candidates are subject to criminal and personal background checks and a prospect period. Our colors are Silver, Black and Orange. Our symbol is a lions head in an armored mask which represents our commitment to a higher standard of behavior required of today's law abiding motorcycle club, and the fortitude to defend it. We currently hold to a single chapter in each state with each state operating independently under their own leadership. The national governance structure is to provide guidance to states in maintaining compliance with the club Constitution and By-laws. We are set up as a Republic. Our purpose is to provide brotherhood and friendship in sharing our love of motorcycling and participate in the various efforts to support our military and public safety agencies and personnel with the many challenges they face. Mettle Republic PSMC Club Oath: As a member of the Mettle Republic Motorcycle Club, I will remain faithful to God, Country, and Family. I will be mindful of the Democratic Values of my fellow citizens. I will stand ready serve others with Dignity, Respect, and Good Will. Keep the rubber side down and the shiny side up! ________________________________________________________________ CHECK US OUT AND SUBSCRIBE:   Website: http://www.LawAbidingBiker.com   Email & Voicemail: http://www.LawAbidingBiker.com/Contact   Phone Hotline: 509-731-3548   Twitter: https://twitter.com/LawAbidingBiker   Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/lawabidingbiker        YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/scrappy587     Google Plus Page: https://plus.google.com/+Lawabidingbiker587   Instagram: http://instagram.com/lawabidingbiker     RSS: feed://www.LawAbidingBiker.com/feed   iTunes Direct Link to Podcast:  https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/law-abiding-biker-podcast/id622424087    Stitcher Radio: http://www.stitcher.com/podcast/law-abiding-biker-podcast   TuneIn Radio: http://tunein.com/radio/Law-Abiding-Biker-p562288/

LAB-46-Motorcycle Only Checkpoints? Should law abiding bikers be concerned? | The real facts & the American Motorcycle Association

GO HERE FOR THE OFFICIAL LAW ABIDING BIKER WEBSITE ==> http://www.lawabidingbiker.com   PODCAST-Get ready for this episode as we dive right into the very heated topic of "motorcycle only checkpoints" (MOC's). We break it down for the law abiding biker community and whether or not this really affects you as a motorcycle rider. Should this be something of great or little concern and is it going to take place in you area? There is a lot of incorrect information on this issue and we get to the bottom of things here on the Law Abiding Biker Podcast. We bring it to you from a balanced perspective with nothing to gain or lose on the matter, unlike many others reporting on it. This is quite a discussion and you just need to listen in to get the whole scoop. The American Motorcycle Association has been at the forefront of the battle against motorcycle only checkpoints. Although they make some good arguments, they also say some things that I don't necessarily agree with. They say things like: "We hope to see laws enacted to end the discriminatory and harmful law enforcement practice of targeting motorcyclists for stops that do nothing to improve the safety of our roads." I dissent and believe the AMA is uneducated by blaming motorcycle only checkpoints on "law enforcement". If the American Motorcycle Association did proper homework they would understand that these sorts of programs are developed well outside law enforcement agencies power and are trickled down to them. In fact, I think it would be fair to say that an overwhelming majority of law enforcement officers that ride motorcycles off duty are totally against motorcycle only checkpoints. Don't get me wrong, I support the AMA, but at times they speak before they completely understand certain matters and make statements like this. We agree that motorcycle only checkpoints do nothing to improve the safety of our roads, however just don't jump to conclusions and blame it on law enforcement. Properly blame it on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), who comes up with some of these ridiculous traffic safety programs and then gives out money to have it carried out by many that don't even believe in it. The NHTSA does have many good traffic safety programs that are very successful, but I believe they need to terminate motorcycle only checkpoints and put our tax money to better use. For the most part I agree with the American Motorcycle Associations stance and that motorcycle only checkpoints should not occur. However, the AMA has put a lot of hype on the issue to get more members. They are constantly running FaceBook and other social media ads referencing "stop motorcycle only checkpoints" and "sign up now". Again, I am totally against motorcycle only checkpoints & they are discriminatory, but don't use it to scare people and run a ton of paid FaceBook ads to try to get more members. Here is an article directly from the AMA about what has been spent, however you must keep it in perspective to the extremely large budget and what NHTSA funds. Again, I don't believe a penny of our tax money should be spent on this program, but please don't make it look worse than it is. The fact of the matter and in the scheme of the overall NHTSA budget, very little money has actually went into conducting motorcycle only checkpoints since 2007. And I do believe that is because the AMA has been right in their face about the matter, which is awesome. Hopefully the NHTSA will see the writing on the wall and stop motorcycle only checkpoints for good. In fact, Alaska, Idaho, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Oregon, Rhode Island, Texas, Washington, Wisconsin and Wyoming -- have prohibited checkpoints by statute and/or judicial action. Four states have since outlawed the practice, which are California, Missouri, North Carolina, Virginia. Illinois and New Hampshire have prohibited the use of federal dollars for MOC's. The point is to make sure you know your facts about motorcycle only checkpoints and look at things from an unbiased position. Then you can form an educated position and make an informed decision. We strongly encourage you to oppose motorcycle only checkpoints and you can help doing so by signing the AMA's petition against them.
