Does professional idiot. Drive.
After hours. live online with Holly and
Robert or, but most importantly, I'm not Equally as important.
He says, mr. Allen, Dave Singh is back in
town. Back in Melbourne.
How are you my friend? I am very good.
It's been, it's been, it's been a bit of an interesting, interesting, few months since you've been going us for sure.
But but I mean, there's a few things have happened.
Rob said, website a shave, let's like the guys about to mug, you know. Absolutely, he's the, he's the
associate of the mob. Let's just, let's just let's
just a syringe. To say that and that's happened.
What what else can we fill you in on, in Melbourne, what we feel even with guys has been has been better.
There's been some protests and riots would you say no right?
Come on dang exaggerated it has been no rights has been calm.
No one's been antagonizing each other.
The protesters have been in top and technology in the police and the police have been minted analyzing the protesters.
So everyone's all happy again. It's there's already.
Some butterflies and Tweety Birds and greater world.
Ha ha ha. Well, yes basically.
Well yeah, I mean that's pretty much it.
You almost you always got to humans receive the World War 3 but but that didn't happen. So so you've kind of been being
safe from all that, I'd say Ellen.
But yeah, welcome back to Melbourne, good to see you back.
Good to see you in real life. Mate.
RL is a big thing. We are live on Facebook saying,
is it, is there something back? Back.
You can put your questions through live to us on Facebook and we will answer them as we go, put in a comment, give you a shout out and all that jazz. So do that.
If you want to get a mention. The first of all, we'll go in
the rooms for our screens difference, a four-car updates, Holly and robbers do with you guys.
Well we're just playing it when we sold the Pajero sport.
So Holly before the before the start of show mentioned that you sort of for more than you bought it for brand-new.
Yeah, a little bit more. Yeah.
Hell, that's what? Yeah, knockout.
You think we should say? Yeah, we saw the for what the
retail value was and knowing you, but we got it a lot cheaper than retail value. Okay.
Yeah, it also has that. Yeah, yeah.
Yeah, yeah. Yeah.
But not its Because it's not a big profit.
There's a lot of money sitting there.
If a car that will I need appreciate in years to come.
I think, and now is the time to sell when there's a demand for it and then Ellen was reasonably priced.
Pick the other ones on there like other ones for a little bit less, but they had like 70,000 case on them.
They're the ones for with about twenty thousand and fifteen thousand dollars for 5,000 more. Well, how many keys?
Yeah. 30,000 cases over 32,000 Well, there's some actually did
like, you know, with that, like 30-something thousand Calum now asking mid-50s. Well yeah, okay.
That's that's a lot of money that is ton of money, but you know what? Credit to you guys, you know,
you'll be doing right? Because because we're on to
bigger and better things which will get you very shortly.
Bruce England's, got asking what the topic is?
Well, we're answering some questions from some of our viewers. If you have a question or an
idea, Through have an answer and tiryns like Matty invited.
Well Terran. The invite was sent on the face
balls so you can still jump on if you want to end.
But yeah, but yeah. But yeah.
So on to bigger and better things, mr.
Mr. Rob and mr. Hawley.
What have you guys done? And done it yesterday?
Well, Holly book to scene for the Tesla experience.
Cool, too. So we yes, you have to book in
and you get a Time allocated allotted to you to actually take take one for a test drive and it's not a very good place to take one for a test drive. Do not go to Richmond.
Ha ha ha, do not go to Richmond. They should awaken but a weekend
of the Sunday afternoon when it runs out protesting protesting.
Yeah, we went for a trip and took us 45 minutes.
Lamborghini, Ferrari. So yeah, we once we sort of a
bitch actually went into that ins to before I ever did, we went to the test Fleet early. But anyway, so we walked into
the shower room, they had a car there and sit in the car, and press all the buttons, and go in and out of it, do all sorts of things. And then they sort of the hand
over your license, fill out a survey or something.
And off you go good. Take the car and but it kept
quiet. Quite adapted to occur quickly.
My wife adapted to you the car real real quick.
She quite chilaka, she reckons there was a bit Eerie, not using the brake to stop because you just take your foot off the accelerator. They'll just follow up and stop
come to a stop. So and she got used to the
functions. Pretty quickly.
It's like having if you've got an iPhone you'd be right driving the cars like operating the iPhone swipe left and right.
So just make sure that you don't put any chin Things up there.
But you look at the car I think with the range it's a very important to look at the stock one and took the stuff on for a drive because that's what we're going to buy.
This is a little three, it's model free and it's got a 490 km range. It could charge within 45
minutes if you use the Tesla, if I say fast charges of all to fall and it cost you about $28 to Charge it up to the top, okay? At set of 10, that's for the
model. 3at a Tesla charged a charge station.
Well, that's too bad. They had a home.
You're saying look you should cost you about eight dollars, eight to ten dollars to charge it, okay?
That'll take you lightly that we did with a three faith.
We have and putting a firewise Tessa wall Chargers in.
Takes about five hours. Yeah charge.
Okay okay. Basically, you know, it's the
average person has about 400 cases shall week.
I mean, you know, in terms of range anxiety, you guys will be fine. You can just probably charge
midweek and you'll be fine. Well, we won't need to get is
it's my wife's car. So she'll only be driving to
work and back. And she does about 70 or 80
kilometers or week Yahoo's her Works.
Doesn't her Works a case that each way so she does maybe 20K today. Okay, yeah, well maybe she won't
use it for a month. Yeah, that's right.
Save it two weeks. You can just plug it into the
wall or on the weekend on a sunny day.
When my solar panels are working flat-out, plug it in, charge her up throughout the day and then off you go for another two weeks. It was a short trips like you do
that with you know a regular car.
You're not getting the car up to full temperature and that kind of thing it can be really you know that you're mental.
Yeah. Or is it electric eye doesn't
care at all. Yeah, that's right.
And the cool thing about it is that this, the maintenance of the car, apparently, three years, you got to change the metric cooling system or quarantine about your cooling system. Yeah, that's about the only real
maintenance that I believe is due on those things.
So if anyone can sort of tell us anything more about it, but that's what I've been told. Okay, well Riza be the guy to
know because he's got two of them.
Yeah but yeah. That's exciting.
So so you save test drive, test driven it and now you've put an order for a white rats. Yeah.
For a while. Yeah.
So it's a pearl, white black in Syria, the 18-inch, wheels standard. So, it's nothing.
It's got, It's amazing for the car for a stock cars.
Going to fall glass roof Alcantara door panel or panels and nice Timber trim. It's quite plus inside it's a
nice card to Sydney and actually it is it's a good environment to sit in. Actually, yeah, I wasn't.
I was impressed when I saw this one.
I really, really liked it even a door.
Ha knock on door handles as such.
It's a little button and then just pops open.
You just pull it up and just do just pops open and he pushed the door open. Yeah.
So there are some things in with the glove box to you just press the the whatever it is. Hey Tesla died.
Silly Siri or whatever and did you say open glove box?
It will just pop open now. That's awesome.
I'd shot. You gotta shut that thing away.
Not not. No good.
No, I know, I know, I know that's a disgrace, you know, all my money. I know, I know, I know, but
apart from that the windows come sort of tinted standard on it.
They were nice medium Tinder. Not too dark, not too light so
I've know we might tint them a bit darker.
We'll see how we go. Yeah, but we've got a long way
to heaven. We've is JustFab.
Yeah, it's six to eight weeks. Six to eight to 12 weeks.
Okay, yeah, wait, yeah. And that's a funny thing to know
how I was looking at the market and what the second-hand Market is doing with these Tesla freezer been out for a few years now. Yeah and once we are far from
6:30 the cheapest ones like that Sky 57,000.
Chasm. It's like 57 thousand volts.
Yeah. And and it's a 20-19 model and
basically the cast costing us with the rebates about 61 on the road. Yeah.
It's 61 on the road because I know they know is just got him before they up the price because I up their prices recently.
I think I've heard so, but yeah, like still I think I heard they were going to do another another increase.
So you guys are going at a good a good time.
Here's your cut. Is your car getting made from
the, from the China, gigafactory or yeah.
Yeah. Only the first ones were major.
I believe from the US, the US. Yeah.
And the last, the last year that I'm making from China.
Okay. Yeah.
But yeah, they did. You want have a longer aging
than the model just like this? Just got released.
Now, said, God 490 km range, the previous ones, only had 450 Okay, and yeah. Because apparently they got a
different battery technologies. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And apparently, government rebates to is still pretty good and it's only for the first 2,000 or 4,000 people thousand people. Okay, okay.
Yeah. And the car has to be under
sixty eight thousand dollars. So if you but if you bought a
long-range you don't get the rebate.
Got you say only the standard range is get the rebate or if you buy a Hyundai or achiara or something like that mg, you get the rebate on it. Yeah.
But yes, in general, that's in total.
All electric cars in. Victorian, government's heading
out the 3400 of dollars. Yeah, rebate for the rebate
doesn't automatically do the rebate for you, whereas the only other companies like mg stuff, they hit they make you do it yourself. So right so that's actually
that's actually pretty good but you know it's awesome guys.
What? Yeah you're officially driving
an electric car. That's going to be that's going
to be exciting. He offered to be a few years
yet. I didn't realize the be so quick
but suppose, you know. Any live ones yellow and then
you move up looking for you too. Yeah, well yeah, we also went
for a look at that the new LDV. So 160 kilowatt LDV, Utes
something cheap for me to frame motorbikes in, then use it as a work, you and so on, I just wanted something, real cheaper.
They're not so cheap. And now, I don't really like
them. Yeah, just to fit and finish and
some of the features weren't in it for what you're paying.
Saying you're paying forty thousand volts or what and you're not, you know, you expect everything for a Chinese car to be in it and it's not in that. So and y'all ones on right away
like We 89 90 or something, hmm, the previous ones.
So there's a huge price difference from the old to the new. Yes to look.
So looks nice. You give me 150.
Kilowatts Napa just call me the best year.
So it's 50 kilowatts up on the old motor.
Yeah, so the other TVs out, I don't know, I've loved it.
Afford the new range of the coming out.
Apparently me next. This myth this month end of this
wonderful ever launched the next year for next year so but they'll be way too expensive. They just overpriced for what
they are still built in Thailand.
You know. They yeah they gouge and so I'm
not I don't know what I'm going to do.
I'll just work my stomach, fire up the old F100 and drive that around. I think it's a better option.
Hey, what's a money towards fixing dollar if I had 100?
Yeah, so but they have one other rebuild as well.
So I've got the 302 out of there L, Fairlane, whatever it is, that is going to be grafted into the F-100.
So I've got that job to do as well.
But this, there are that many projects that I know where to start. What are the time one at a time?
Yeah, I'm just it's hard to get some.
You got to get into the heck, what do you say at a group of Things when you're special, when you coming out metal and you're doing metal work and finishing a car, you're going to make sure you do it, right? And it's just, you got to get
your head around it, you've got to be in the right.
Mindset is when you don't do it all the time to do it in metal work, if it's a straightforward patch panel, but when you started look at, you know, compound angles, and curves and things that were doing in the Mercedes, it's just a little bit more difficult than the normal healthy packed and burn.
Like we can see LTD which has earned pattern almost at your house. And fire pattern, they call me
Damien for a reason. Exactly.
But yeah, that's no, it's good. It'll be good to be good to see
that thing on the road and towing things and doing all the photos. A couple questions for you.
Tyrone's can says it's free to charge.
You got solar and how much is a battery to change over?
I don't know, but I have to find that out.
I can give you some US Banks. I believe for a model 3 is about
21 thousand dollars, okay? Wow.
Big dollars. Lucky lucky that you aren T on
the back for ya and we wake up call that longer than that.
Use my new cars these days, I'll turn him over.
Three years at the most long, long time ago, I swore to myself, that one day when I can afford it, always get a brand new car. Because I was forever working on
me. Old cars when I couldn't afford
to have a good car. Yeah, so I was always on the
weekends, you be basically, you know, filters oils breaks, universal joints. There's always something that's
the bushes will going on the car.
There's always something going wrong with an old car when you drive a 20 year old car around to as a daily.
You your Forever working on it. It's breaking down on you.
It just can't like the our classic cars that we've got matching dress, trodden drive your, you know, Llamar to every day's, a daily year and year out for years in the record.
Yeah, I don't need one. Yeah, you just can't do it.
No, but they'll make the most total.
Since I'm, your totals is Elon Musk will be happy with you too.
So you'll be, you'll be happy and he told you to buy a ranger just, just by a ranger. So we'll be fighting you range.
I don't know. Justified, I'll go, baby.
You're given a see, you know, well, when the the basically the echo blasting business for some will be sandblasting Vehicles.
So, anyone out there who wants a vehicle sandblasted, we've got a machine that connects the sandblaster Coca-Cola can at low pressure all the way up to doing heavy Vehicles.
So trucks and heavy machinery, excavators and stuff like that.
So we can sandblast trays trailers all sorts of things.
Hmm. So we yes to invest a lot of
money. To this machine.
So so about why don't we get our compressor would be about over 40K worth of equipment, just to do sandblasting, all Aqua blasting. Its water jet blasting with rust
inhibitor built into it so you give it a coating of the last year about a week before you have to actually experiment requirement. Now let's sort of rocks don't
even last longer could last. Yeah, after a month.
Well, if that Rusty. Yeah, so that, you know, if I
get down to that point, I'm starting to make some money with this blast. Is this all going to get a brand
new ride, just all right? It's so lame.
All right actually I wouldn't buy a ranch.
If I was looking forward to making money and I'm going to outline 90-odd k for a stupid Ranger.
I might as well buy myself. A Dodge Ram mate.
Yeah, whatever, sexy. Seriously you can't.
It's the chalk and cheese. And what you get in a ram,
compared to a Ranger Ranger is rages like a, it's like a great wall or an LG V compared to a Dodge Ram.
I tell you, right? Seriously, dude.
What you get in a ram, you just go.
Wow. You don't even get in a lot of
cars. Yeah, the queen roofs, The
Leverage Syria to, you know, the power sockets and the, you know, the console, some of them even come with fridges built into them and things like that. It's just phenomenal that, you
know, you got your boxes around boxes, on the side.
You can actually put your guns in on the side tubs and lock them away. You can Erica.
Yeah, America. And you could even put ice in
those boxes and put your your, your titties along inside of the boxes Graham points. Yeah.
On real a real good. He was he comments back saying
Rams break down too many problems so I do.
I haven't heard much about that but, you know, we'll go with that for now. And he also asks how he when he
saying the C63? I don't know.
That's a hard one. It's only appreciating at the
moment at the moment and just like before still does so, you know, Someone offers me some stupid money because I'm sorry.
But up about 20 grand since I bought it.
I would. Yeah.
Hold on to it. Yeah.
Bit longer but I the poem he's like it pretty much stays on it.
I've always done like 20,000 cases a year Well since I had it almost like that idea. I've got a would like low.
Fuck about 40,000 like I'm up 59 well, okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Everywhere.
It is awesome to drive. Taught me.
Is that he? Let me drive it once, but it is
awesome. The driver.
Apparently, once I get the Tesla, he's telling me down when driving more often, because I because I'll weekends, it's cheaper for me to drive the So I got a free charging at work, so I'm a product can just plug in my heart.
Stay, what do you, what do you think?
What do you think has that? I I think Holly's, like I think
Rob is taking me for a ride. He might know.
He's, I think so too. I think he has to start sort of
pulling his weight around the house a lot more.
Are you? Mr. Hamilton.
The tank isn't true for money. It is not cheap at all.
And how much do you get out of the tank 400?
400 km devils. Are what about her?
150 lightning, if it is. Like electric cars are becoming
more and more prevalent with the reins of reviewing office and all the facilities. Why wouldn't you be?
Yeah, absolutely. Good thing about the Ravine.
Even if it runs out of power, you can tell it starts howling at home and start charging acetone.
It, and then I'll start driving again, that's mad.
Yeah, you call it? Yeah, yeah, I'm all right.
Yeah. Like about that your cars is
especially these, you know, environmentally friendly countries up. You know, Norway and places like
that. They've got diesel generators
running to charge their cars. That's funny.
It's the circle of life. It's like it's like, you know,
but yeah. Hey, you just got a guy, just
take the like the one to keep wants to put in the center console and do the Herring theme.
That's it, it's on my phone, but I think the thing is, is there's cash, you should name, a because R is named, his does of the rizla. I think Deputy named with add a
blur. I think that's what it is to be
called to, to make that happen. But yeah, no, it's, it'll be
cool to see. I'm a, I'm a big fan and and
Andrea's was tell me what the Tesla's, well like that.
Come loaded with everything. But if you want like the extras
you just pay for it for exam. If you wanted the back heated
seats, it's just like an extra 500 bucks and it because already built in the car you just lower it in and it does it is it yeah.
Everything's like everything is everything else.
I like the self-driving of you'd like to paint a Grammy can't use it. Now you measure if it comes in
the future, okay, the teen brain, when this accident everything works, that's nothing works with like does behalf of us. What I really liked about it is
it actually absolutely what I noticed is on the actual panel of the display board when you're driving.
Car will actually show you the cards coming towards you, as Shadows of cars. Yes, heart.
You crazy, traffic lights, traffic lights.
And also roadworks bollards would pop up on the thing.
So it'll tell you your environment and he would there's a pedestrian, you start to walk across the street to the radar, picks it up and walking across the street or actually show you on your desk and there's this dream and I probably can actually even use like the cameras as dash cams.
Yeah. Recording.
You can plug it in like a hard drive into the USB see and record to the hard drive. No, absolutely.
Yeah. And I did get put in the selfie,
all you have to do is tap once and see cruise control.
And you tap the stalk down twice and it goes straight into basically whatever you want to call it lying.
Keep assist. Little slow down and all that.
Default is quite scary, so, growl fatty piece of the speed sign. So, when we make a limits just
feed to the Signs as well. Who's 2013 10 in Doug?
Gets pulled over by the cops. Oh, you were, you were 30 over
the limit our but but the the Tesla was doing Itself by.
Right? What's it doing?
It wasn't me. Yeah, I'm not sure if it's got a
function yet but she went over the speed limit slightly.
I said I won't I just want to see if it actually would flash in relation to the actual speed limit signs that flash up.
So it'll tell you what speed zone you're in.
But if you went over that speeds and it doesn't go read or tell you to slow down or anything. It doesn't sort of like some
cars will tell you just, you know, keep on fighting and beeping and doing all sorts of things, but this does nothing.
Maybe it's something, you said in a clear, you might be able to set it up in what a limit like a limiting or something.
Hmm. Eventually when turtles got like
the whole market shares going to be hey you Five k's over this time. I'm going to send this
information is called. Well, exactly that that's right.
You know, just just automatically send the fine and before you even start driving because you're gonna break the law. You know what's that movie was,
is a Tom Cruise wear that they create people's like murders and stuff like that. So they arrested before they
murder someone and lock them up, right?
So they could that they can just stick a ticket before you even speed more, what I'll be like, well, we know you're going to speed so will we That's right. He wasn't it does the tells the
South Park it doesn't I don't like does a reverse part?
I reckon he said it does but I think it's in the extra package in a package like you get the auto driving like that.
Look like what a part plus then you can do the salmon and but half of it doesn't work. Okay.
Yeah. In the the features of stuff at
the moment because they're not Australian design rules.
So you see there's a lot of things that won't let you do is part of that. Package.
So they haven't included it even though you can do it and it's legal to do. So he could pay the 10 grand in
my pocket. The auto park you be won't get
like half the other features that's included in their life felt like, you know, I got you a smarter idea is just waiting until yeah. Even the guy testigos I'll wear
for this. I guess I want to recommend
paying 10 grand me out. Yeah, you guys like, you know?
Yeah, well, you know, pretty much truck.
Electric cars. Here we come.
Yeah. That's that's the that's a third
one on the show. Yeah, this one first.
And then, and then it's mom's turn, you know.
Before I took tip to get the tire to Tesla for a drive.
I took it to a Hyundai dealership actually because they've got a quite a few such an electric cars - yep.
And the quite nice cars. Actually the Kona electric.
And then there's the The ionic 55, it isn't the old ionic as well. I believe, Duke, the quite nice
cars, but slightly less range, the more car-like.
So you're not getting that experience of a, you know, futuristic car to some extent. Yeah, but I think that's there.
I think that's the the selling point.
They're like, well, we don't we want to make it seem like a car like you can't because we don't we don't want people to to to freak out. We want to just to feel like I'd
be like a car, act like a card do car.
Things not, not not be a complete spaceship, like a Tesla. Yeah, that was the for the price
you pay. You don't get like the stock
Stan. You look at the pay 70 grand,
almost polish it up, the same beaches.
Looks like the heated seats leather seats, the adaptive cruise control the glass roof. Now, Alcantara door panels are
just all the little bits and pieces, you get in that package, they're packaged the car pretty well.
Yeah. Toralei sir.
You can't go to Sydney in the Tesla.
I think they betrayed, We've like One-Stop.
You probably could. Yeah, I'll be right now unless
you got a long range and then you still have to stop somewhere. Probably stopping camera top or
somewhere along the highway, but does it?
It starts points along the main Highway all weights, but it's not, not sort of card to go to Sydney in really, but I think so. But you long before I've ever
said he's going to jail all the time.
Yeah. If you go dawn, yeah, you trips
to see more or, you know Ballarat bendy go Too long awaken there and back you fully charge it.
Yeah, you'll be fine. Yes.
It's not a car that you'd be want to go in and around Australia across country with no, no, just just just, just bring like a the extension cable just just, just just the whole life. I was thinking exactly the same
thing when you're driving or driving them.
Is it Swan Street in Richmond with a trams are all you need to do is do like you know Back to the Future that Marty did well and put the little spring loaded.
Right after the charge port, plug it straight into the back of the car off. You go while you're driving
propellant, free power rings. Hello.
They do that with some trucks in Europe.
Oh, really, really got on the freeway part, the electrically powered ones that helped off the freeway.
That's mad. And I got the electric buses to
don't day in Europe. A lot of places so they have
electric buses like a tramp, but it's a, it's a bus.
That's see you Pat shit, I think.
Touches off to the. Yeah.
So it's just got the right that goes up and they go underneath the lines with the bus and then it might have batteries or whatever. So they could come off It Off
the Grid and go around. Drop people off it and go back
on the grid and then back up onto the onto the power.
Yeah, nice. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Well that's exciting gentleman. Yeah.
Yeah. Look, it's the future now.
Look at the next level of their cities and you probably already seen it is self what I call them.
Flying drones that you can hop in and for yourself in a drone.
So that's the next next step. So I think the next one is
you'll be in your personal drone flying to work and your drone.
Yeah, that's a good point. That's a good point.
Yeah. Apparently have already made one
hundred thousand dollars. That's so I will make you spend
the money in the wrong place. I think like I think.
So I'll be buying that and it's got 100 km range.
Yeah, it's mine, especially not too bad as a crow flies, you know? Yeah, exactly.
Exactly. Straight across Melbourne
Airport. Yeah, form a 385 Navy, but try
to get to, you know, Maddie's places from heal.
All Jesus, a lot of pine space travel agent Taryn thinks he's put an order for one for the Drone.
It's coming soon. And Mark, says, hello guys.
Thoughts on electric cars by scaring yourself?
That's what? Well, yeah, it's happening Mark.
So, we talked on the Tuesday show about their incentive, which is for the powered for the, for the power charges.
But not for actual college is really weird.
They're doing it backwards here. We don't know why they're doing.
That is the same animal or a lump lump of coal into Parliament. So yep.
You know, I think it works. So here's them.
So, um, of those with you, so may the Drone back from camera, pretty uneventful, I think I was going to maintain 23 litres per 100 case, even better than my last.
I rich. I think the cars almost about
him, that was case now. So I think it's finally kind of
broken self in and kind of giving me my life daily quality again and by the STi for fuel economy but I don't fancy the idea of paying 110 bucks before indicate either.
I don't have that, you know, Holly solid cash personally.
So yeah. But that was the a pretty
uneventful. I think it's about due for
service. So yeah.
In the next week I shall be looking at Super docklands after that all goes. Well, the other the MX-5 Saga
has finally come to a conclusion.
Mmm, it has been revealed. So so I love.
Just look at Robins face, everything.
Tell me, basically my Sisters been giving you a lot of hassle here now and she likes to think that she's got, you know, some kind of one up on me because the car was in the garage.
So she was just on the phone with my dad and you know we were all listening ears on speaker phone and she was being annoying as usual as you're going to solve house by house and she wanted somebody else to be there because she was scared, Tradesmen, which I'm like, why do you have Tradesmen if you scared of them? You know, like you want to be
all independent in your own home but then he scared tradies but, you know, grow up. So anyway, And then she said,
well do you want Dad to come over and see things?
And I said, well you threatening me, you know, is that a threat?
And so I called the owner of us card and said, I bought a car three months ago and it's been sitting in her garage is whole time at which point my dad have the, if you seen it robbed the shock Pikachu face. Do you speak is quite confused
and you got a bit upset. He thought I he accused me of
embezzling. Tens of thousands of dollars he
assumed by her somehow spent embezzled forty thousand dollars from him and put his sister's car but whatever explore life, you know, I like white. No, it was just a live in mind,
you know, wasn't that bad? And it was I pre spent funds
that I was do. That's all I did.
So, it was a sort of investment that, you know, is more borrowing without asking, Rob's Debbie, you got there.
So, at that point, I became known as the thief Partly involves was like, so you say you're sorry, you're using that.
You name's not how I'm it's Ali Baba.
Yes. Yeah.
And then well, because I was like, well, the cats out of the bag, I might as well go get the car.
I got a battery from the local soup shape.
I've got my trade discount, start, the car up and, you know, still pose as it should, it was really, really nice and like, lovely and sunny where left myself.
So I put the top down in our winni my hair and about like a minute from my house, which is only about 10 minutes away.
It's not raining. So, to quickly forget it, speed
up, get it, get it, get it home. Get the roof back on.
Had in the driveway, my uncle came over.
He checked it out. And then, he basically took my
dad for a ride in my mom for, right?
And they're both very happy with the car.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. So you did Scott patches or does
he actually only cower or is it registered in his name?
Or I'm just just, it's technically my name.
Like financially, my thoughts, which you can invoke at any time, at least until I make the full payment, but no, he's quite happy with the car and he reckons that.
While on here, especially before we take my mom out for some, you know, some Joy rides here. And then maybe go to the temple
or something. And I'm like, that'll be,
that'll be an interesting thing. You see a man, you know, in his
60s and attempt a turban and a white bead rocking up in an MX-5 year, but it is gonna be good. I love it.
Absolutely good stuff you sure taught always tell your dad that surprising right. If you be more open to these
ideas I think just tell him you're thinking about at least not what you think that. But when you say, or looked at
them thing about these, not don't spend your money.
Don't do it. No idea my excuse and my wife
will be listening and hearing this is that it's an investment but yeah, good stuff.
In some cases, try finding one.
It's been a year so many. What's going on with your
garage? You got a garage set up yet.
What are you doing here to store your car?
Dude, like I've been in a warehouse mate, I know, I know.
Well, you know, so I got a pre-approved for in everything again, at the little renewed and it's all ready to go, but I'm just finding the place and doing the right thing.
So, it's then you look. And then you get, you can then
you're like, oh, hang on a minute.
No. So yeah.
And then I'm like, well if I'm by spending this much money, I can buy a house but then then when you buy a house you because you won't get a house anywhere near here for money.
Looking for. So it's just kind of like a
never-ending cycle of where to store my cars at the moment.
They think they're kind of all kind of scattered all over the place. So yeah.
Yeah, by Southward, nice Warehouse, with a mezzanine turned into a little pep bachelor pad.
Keep all the cars in the bottom. You've got a place to go to and
live. Would sell ordinary.
I think that's the best thing for it, to be honest with you.
I think. I mean, that'll be nice man.
Cave must think. I'm gonna just get the good guys
around, 22, tokars, do. Yeah.
And and that's, that's the dream.
That's the kind of dream for any of this is, I, you know, I'm happy to take investment. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Of yarn Car, Talk Studio. Absolute next tax write-off to,
absolutely, absolutely. So, tax write-off, thanks,
fellas. How much money you making?
Lot. But enough to support this about
like I haven't really need to do, that's all you need to do.
Well we have units answer questions.
We got a question this evening from Bruce England Heaney us.
How about the recent meme of going to hell for swapping an electric drivetrain into an internal combustion car.
Oh I haven't seen that mean but internal combustion, electric are going to hell for swapping electric drivetrain into an internal combustion car. I think.
Okay, to do. I'm not I'm not against it.
What do you? What do you guys think?
Depends on the car. If you don't have the original
motor in it anymore and it's a high-end car.
In particular, you got it. If you can't keep the
originality because it's the motors, totally blown.
There's a lot of parts. You've done a restomod.
Yes. But if it if the cars in total
original condition, no, would be doing that.
You're 65 Mustang would you have done it?
Yeah because like the 65 Mustang what's than Mike, a Concours Ian car and you go, you might be able to say yeah, I'll do that and it's not a high-end expensive car.
It's not a GT or a Shelby or is just a 65 Mustang.
Yeah you go maybe and look at see my show you the one at the for the Ford one. There you can actually buy it.
Afford electric motors it as a crate motor and they've put one into an f-102 like lining same as we got.
Yes, 1970s. Yeah.
So Something like that and you're doing a Resto mod and you don't have any original Motors or running gear anymore.
So just to she'll go for it, why not do something different?
Yeah, as long as you're not ruining like a very good original car. I got think that probably be
some. I'm sure they're already people
doing it, but I think it'll probably needed a stronger business in the future. When we very much our Lord,
almost internal combustion engines that like you kind of just giving these old cars classic cars with a new lease on life, by giving them electric running gear.
Yeah, I think there's a movie In Time where everyone time it like time to live is like a currency. Okay.
Yeah. It had Justin Timberlake in it
and stuff in it. Like all the cars were like
because it's the future. Yeah you're like a lot of them
like classic cars but all the while electric.
Yeah you know there's just that whole idea of what comes on the looks very classic and cool. Really hand is doing something
similar that. Yeah they did it with their the
original grandeur Old school, but you know, fully electric, you know, for the future. So, as long as the new lease on
life, I think that's a great thing.
And there's a TV company here in Melbourne, Victoria that does a lot of those cars now and they're doing a pretty good trade apparently. Yes, I'm sure that's a big
straight exchange. Some conversation with amateur
cost actually do an EVP conversion and it depending on how far you want to go, anything between the a sort of like 30 and 70 thousand dollars, well, even like, give me like we went to 50 cars over there. Decima is old Defenders.
One of them have a look-see. Yeah.
Absolutely. The same company that done that
one. Okay.
Well, if you looked really good, I was at least to be reliable.
It still work theoretically, you know, 50 years time, right?
And we're still somehow still alive and not like a cyborg version of ourselves. They say to us, okay, well you
cannot use can there's no there's no petroleum or you have to go Electric You have to convert your cars.
Would you convert them or two, just to keep to keep them going?
Or would you say no? I'm keeping my Berra, turbo.
Screw you guys, are you? You never do that.
So Barrett survey you ran around 85 or something and using alternative fuel when you're absolutely.
Yeah. And, and that was what I was
gonna say like, for me, like, there's alternative fuels as well, like, 85 is a renewable resource like it's it's called use. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah.
So and you get more power. Yes, you did less fuel economy
because it's just ethanol but I thought I would totally totally do that. Do I get all my cars?
I'd rather say okay well I'll get you know I don't tune them or get them all custom ecu's just to run it on that stuff.
Just talking to him going. Exactly exactly the point in
pain with a be causally kind of grandfather and then they like, you know, I'll see historic. Yeah.
Things just like you know I guess the club tourism classic cars are these days whereas, you know, anything else you going to traveling? It's probably Just you click
something on your phone and the next minute or two, you know, a little TV shows up, one little drone shows up and you just, you know, hitting the Drone. You can be on your way and then,
you know, you get out and everyone's sharing drawing currents. Yeah, true.
But I don't want to almost shown a dream of you wondering who's super cars and like that at the moment did talking about three cylinder. Annoyed activated valves, and
things like that. So you don't know, timing
Chains, No, No cams, you got none of that stuff and that those Motors are so efficient and so powerful.
That, you know, they'll do this sort of petrol hybrid thing for many, many years to come. I think so.
Yeah, it was their colleagues in that initially three valve.
From Parts, any sauce out of a parts been has any basic.
Yeah. Pretty much.
And I'm like and it works flawlessly.
That's smart. That's real.
Yeah. Well done.
Well done. Yeah, critical through that.
That is sick. But yeah, I think I would go to
alternative fuels before I convert.
If I If I had 20, but I just, I don't think they're going to get rid of internal combustion engines yet.
Like they, they're not going to. I mean, there's no idea.
We're going to be done by 2030 2040, whatever it is.
But I think to keep the ones going, I think we're going to have to go to like other sources and they'll have to support like things like E85 and then things like, like like they have the support fuel for as long as we need it.
You know what, I think the future leads towards to is that they have electric trucks through transporting all our Distributing, all our goods from warehouses To our stores in, in the, in the metropolitan areas. Yeah, out to the suburbs and so
on. So it will be electric vehicles.
But long-haul trucks will still be apparently Ivory hybrid diesel or whatever for a long time yet and that's where my CDs is going at the moment. I believe they are looking at
that electric truck for local deliveries and everything else storm selling their diesel trucks for a long time, yet, especially for the road trains and the long Trucks.
Like you can't. You can't just, you know just
just be gone with that, you know.
It's a lot of it's a lot of work to make him do that, you know.
Like you can't just. Yeah, basically.
Yeah. They all well, you know, hybrid
or electric it's just it just, it isn't.
It isn't sustainable. Mmm, especially with the
infrastructure we have currently even into.
Like, if you have a diesel vehicle as it would be a, your own personal vehicle, you've got alternative fuels You diesels as well. You've got you know all year you
get out. Yeah, you can't get out of Fish
and Chips shop and just ask for the old oil filter out and put a couple additives in it. Not okay.
And Davey driving a car and fish and chips.
That's a red van that's on on fish and chip shop.
It's all part of the I mean they've had different they've had but it's called biodiesel but I live at the feather for years now and you know it's actually kind of a I think it's a great thing. I think it's I think it's really
good but we'll we'll have to we'll have to see where that takes us. Next question gentlemen, its
Bathurst month. Let's Pretend things are still
like they were in 19 mins in the 1960s when the Great race was made up of what was essentially production road, going Cars that were slightly. Modified what are the big
manufacturers sending to the mountain in 2021?
What would they do? As and you know for their cars
and there's this question from James Billingsley.
Again, top fan representing car talk.
Thank you. Thanks for that.
What what what be manufacturers are like, what BMW or Ford or whoever would be, would be still you enter into racing and selling their cars to, to the mountain, to, to to race.
And what would they, what would they race?
Good question. A question.
Yeah. And that's a difficult one to
answer, especially that, that making it Ozzy cars and you want to talk about Ford's and Hoffman's on the mountain haven't paid. Yeah, that should open it up to
a more diverse field of vehicles like they did back in the 70s and 60s where they had all sorts of cars and you and you can be a mini minor guy or a Jag guy or a mustang guy, and they had group, you know, ABC all racing at the mountain.
Yes, we still have the You know, the Ford versus whole damn thing throughout the year or whatever, but I think the big race was used to be about all sorts of cars your spoon, because if you want to be much back then, like there's like, especially especially coming down the mountain, and going and things, the meanings were like overtake, it like going on the inside of these, all these GT phones while they're cooking their break.
So it means there's a well-rounded else.
It's just right past them and then on control strategy to get annihilated. But yeah, it was, it was good
racing. It was fun to watch.
So I think hot hatches differently, Making a strong case here, because because they're pretty much the only ones that are really still kind of doing doing this.
You know, what would you have different classes then?
Well, this is a, that was my next point.
So I'd say, I'd say different classes would come would come into play here, because for example, they would have liked the hot hatch class. They would have the sport sedan
class, they would have to get coops.
Exactly right. And being 2021, we're gonna have
the SUV class which was do they start arguing that with the Utes? Go from the thing for scars from
the virus and you know, going over jumps like, you know?
That would be a bit more interesting.
But well, I mean, they got trophy trucks and stuff we which are pretty cool. But but production cars, I think
would be, would be awesome. And, and because production cars
a, the whole, you know, win on Sunday, sell on Monday, think, I think so. I think still a legit thing
like, it's not. They should be production.
Cars tuned to the max that's good.
That's a good idea as well. So up the Boost and after boost.
Yeah, bigger. Bigger Wheels, bigger tires.
And yeah. Modified suspension but like
obviously stripped out with a roll cage but basically just you can still buy it and you could make that essentially by, you know, exactly. And I pretty much think that's
that's what the the 86. Like the spec spec 86 and spit
me out to do kind of kind of thing.
Like they just put a cage in him sticky tires.
Good suspension and go you know like that's that's how fun is that you and I and it makes for great racing because everybody's on equal kind of pickings on though.
It's all, they're all the same, they're all the same thing.
I know it's probably a rich man's class but you know like the Porsche and the AMG GTS racing against each other.
No, be cool. Just the Roar of the engines and
the sound and and they're getting up to speed super cute like our touring car speeds or so because baby you know so they and their production cars yet still.
I know they're expensive production cars but there's still a bad probably a quarter of the price of a Supercar.
Anyway. Yeah, pretty much.
All right, so you got, you probably looking at, you are free. You won't mangy as speculate
that for the bay, where they half a million.
Yeah, whatever they are in the race, spec apply in order one, as a racecar, claim was for us a Lamborghini Ferrari.
They all make them just Trofeo spec.
Whatever you want. You see the Ferraris all kitted
out for racing? Yeah.
And that would be great and they do have those classes but obviously, she's in Australia, it was the weights forward and holding and Just the legacy of that for Dalton thing, but they need to start thinking outside the square and looking at what people, you know, sort of be interested in that's hard.
The hard part is that you like race or something win on Sunday, you know by Monday or so on Monday.
Sort of thing is a lot more difficult with own like an owner or, you know, or a Kia cerato, or whatever, that's why I was, why I think. Yeah.
For example that That this would be a kind of a cool idea.
Now you have, you have your, you have your hot, how to class, which is like, for example, your STS and you're running rogon's and your golf ass golf R's and and and what have you and you just kind of functional just them fighting but you got to make the rule have to be on manual.
That has to be all cheering properly.
And yeah it'll be cool because you can say, oh yeah, you know what king of the mountain this year was a real are, you know, like although it was give it a bit more.
The average explain it kind of like attainable car that you can use I can say wow this is actually a cool car that a lot of that I can use on a track you know?
I mean this is this is 60 it look at and look at the annex, why? You know, whatever, GT350 one,
yellow, Falcon, yeah, there were four squillion dollars because because of the rice Legacy that you can actually buy on a, on the Monday. Absolutely, it's pathetic.
It's pedigree. It's like it's and then like,
what? I'm cause you don't get that
these days. Like I think the only cars that
that have some sort of like racing pedigree a 9/11 because they pretty much get used as a cop car all the time.
So and and or I mean like even like like, for example, the last time that I was like really interested in, you know, Motorsports was was when like well I'm still still words WRC but when WIC was still using like cars that were based off but like, you know, like like they still look like a WRX.
I still look like an EVO though you know and and isolate is a love that style because you know it was it was legit, right?
Sing it was was proper. You know you could buy, you
could go out and buy buy yourself a Mist Mitsubishi, you know, either wait or EVO, whatever WRX STI.
Yeah. And you could feel like Colin
McRae 45 minutes. You know you like you could feel
like talking about that's not work.
I try that in my WRX first. I'll say Monsieur.
Yeah I work. It was just my fishtailing is
flaps everywhere and honesty are not But before that happened, I definitely think you know Kyle is needed there but but let's make it, let's make a hypothetical hypothetical really
dream dream race series. So we've got the hot hatch
series. Let's say, you've got your
Hyundai, i30 n, Focus, ST, Golf GTI, Magan Magan sport, whatever. Whichever number, they're up to
these days. So that's 434 manufacturers
there. You've got most he wants to do
with this knowledge. Well howdy BMW well ladies a and
a 45 35. Yeah.
True Between horsepower.
Didn't he? Like you didn't and the 400
horsepower sports cars. Then you can probably throw your
Mustangs. Your supers super as they use.
Z years needed coming out. BMW M2 M3.
Yeah, she could have frequent class categories couldn't.
Yeah. Three or four categories in the
racy yet? Alive.
Stands like m5z 63s. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And your race and your race is an actual just a chauffeur Sue.
Soup. Why not classes from the super
because they did. Yeah, they're a good-looking
race car. And what happened was that
series, when all those other cars, they just couldn't afford it. They lost the plot, they weren't
competitive and we lacked the went back to.
Yeah. And and, you know, I think I
think manufacturers a to scare these days because I think they're all about, you know, being bit like the very conservative, really, you know, that vibrate going green 2030?
Yeah, I mean VW at one point. I think, after these will get
pulled out of racing all together, they like all know that we can't afford to be kind of father, do it.
But I think they're back in at some Some sort of way.
But but yeah, it's interesting that this is the way, this is the way it's going, but but those three races of series would be awesome to be sick, would they?
And I'd be going to I'll be actually going back to the races. If that actually occur.
Absolutely going, I'll be there. I understand I'll be there
because I even like the electric series is doing.
All right, you know? And and and like I, yeah, I
guess that'd be like I was the future but to be honest with you, I do actually really want to.
I kind of really want to just like see a hot hatch series and a Recoup series and I said, sport sedan series and I'll be all I'd be all over that. What would be nice is I think it
sort of happened with the superbike racing motorcycles.
Yeah, actually develop the motorcycles in that particular category as well, the 600 class thousand CC class and they've those bikes have evolved dramatically.
You know, if all the electronic stability, traction controls engine management systems and everything else that they've got wheelie control, you know, sort of basically lean.
Roll today have a whole lot of things that they've developed over the years with these bikes that you can actually go and buy. Yeah.
Yeah. And that and I'm sure they would
have been developed from the racing series which is a suit by bike racing series. Well I think and sorry to cut
you off there but I think four years like racing always you know fed down to order more like 22.
Passenger cars. Yeah.
Let's do it now like Mercedes is like their the project one has the F1 engine. You.
Yeah. And and also the, all the games
he's coming out of like, the new C63 actually has the same Turbo System that they're using the Formula 1 car.
Alright, the electric turbines. Yeah, the electric to the way it
works is this pose the same as the yeah, they're Formula One car developed from that and paste like a fan like electric fan inside the turbo. Is that what a sport or is full?
So you got no lag, what this man?
It's getting 500, something kilowatts or something that apparently can get up to that. Do you see c 3?
It's because it's what the actual dye 45 engine.
Yeah, plus 250 kilowatt battery pack.
That's not. Yeah.
So that kind of a four-cylinder God that we are to be.
Holy still, it's good for a minute something pretty cool.
It's anyway they 45s. Yeah and plus the Electric and
the Turbo. She's been stuck a like it's
like they gave you like 350 something.
Just from the engine thoughts on a 4 cylinder plus the length plus. Yeah.
Make like Max 130 kilowatts like 10 years ago was like, Massey about of like a like a sports. It in, you know, you're getting
it in a freaking hot. Hatchback was like, what the
hell? Just like we just, we just do
and I was like, do nothing but like that.
That's a lot of power like that that would be that would be a rocket ship probably. Probably handle better than you
want to Holly because it's a lot of double drive.
I'll drive, ya do ya because the electric motors on the back.
All right. Yeah.
Yeah, so they are, so it's like, so it's all worth it but it's rare biased. Well, okay, so the logic right,
that's ready to reel. And then it's like so Franco
drives doing the front or something.
In the, let your mouth around. All drives is in the rear, but
you consider look how it's already there.
So you can like, send the engine power to the rear as well with that with the electric motors at the rear.
The so some sort of Reform over again.
Yeah, okay. Wow, I'll mention that like
takes in a comment a bit of an increase costs though.
Laughter. Yeah, it's probably expensive
for the new season. You won't be cheap.
Why be true even like that? Is that the sea like 43 Scooby?
That the city 53? That has the A45 engine as well.
Just do. They just has that and they just
as easy to boost some the the starter motor that's game. 355.
Kilowatts just in a state in the standard c43 or 53 with some people in the next one. That's cooked.
Yeah, so yeah. So we say these are doing some
big things, aren't they? With power and their cars.
Another I suppose is pushing all the other manufacturers to sort of lift their game a bit too. Yeah, well I especially like
this yell and well, the last couple years, they're really kind of, how would you explain the first of the game?
Haven't had like they're, they're they're coming out and said, well, all you say that. Yeah, you got it.
Stays on the first, porcelain the C63.
And I'm sure Ben Wa following Audi.
Yeah, Stephen explains why I've been like, 3126 on that, you know, they're all using both a Audi and the BMW's of six cylinders. Yeah.
So I'm pretty foggy forces. And the Hybrid next is all this
is this way. Everything's going really at the
end of the day. Like everything's going Harbor.
I mean, Toyota sold tons of hybrids now so then they probably saying well we have to reduce our emissions but the only way we can reduce emissions by keeping you know shit ton of power is by going hybrid. So that the other Stanley
Anyway, they can do it. So we shall see what they do.
That's good. It's going to be interesting to
see these next few years because because car companies are really the kind of scrambling if you guys have noticed.
Like they're kind of trying to figure out what their, what their next move is. Because it's, it's either going
to be a big mover or small, we because, but the issue is, it has to be a big move because, you know, a lot of companies have said not well, by 2025, or 2030.
We're not making any more ice, internal combustion engine anymore. So, you know, where do people
want to be in with and and especially with the way some Trees are legislating that not only cars, we sold hearing from 2025, or 2030 with internal combustions, if you want to sell cars. So, you need to make electric
cars or or, you know, more fuel-efficient cars, you know that it's causing them to to finally, pull your finger out and do something I think. So, what is he really like
something? Like, even the heart of Paris,
you won't be like, driving internal, combustion engine, kind of the heart of Paris next 5-10 years or something.
Well, ya, see, everything? Be electrically luck in that
City Center that you can't drive.
Yeah, it's just all a trick inside.
Is crazy. Yeah, you know like a Mustang,
you know, as a protest I've always liked but like, you see like, yeah, it's like I said, yeah, should be there with all these Black Series parked in front of the Eiffel Tower is like in the future. I'll be able to happen.
It's free blacks who just park there for a lot for Taylor.
That would be funny. That's a good question.
So, alright, let's make, let's make a dream series.
Before before we continue on to to Carl awake, So drink your dream series for hot hatches, but have to 200 series with have one front-wheel-drive 11 or will drive from?
Yeah, then we've got the coop series under 250 horsepower.
Yeah. Yeah.
And then up then under 400 horsepower, they'll be the next in the series. So that's four series already
their sport sedans. I mean there really is
ridiculously powerful. So there's just one.
Yeah, one class for that. What else can?
What else could be adding? Well, that's already.
You are. That's fine.
For classes already. So I think that'd be more than
enough for a good good series and a good championship.
And can, and you have, you got Boys, you've he's in there too hot. You can x5m
cars. You have the Plaid versus the
take hand versus. Yeah.
Yeah. This show.
Maddy. What's the price of Koreans
can't? Yep.
Tamsin the other. If I ate all the in this race
series of tell you right now, we're the Forefront.
May also take your idea with sweet for copyright and intellectual property because right because it's really are because because what we've really come up with them so that's it. Your car last week was good but
then you brought up a car on the end of the show.
They do you remember taking all the risk?
That's taking all the rooms and the territory with, with blue blue wheels, blue wheels. I don't even know.
I don't even know what to say. Like, it was.
As I look at the term that doesn't matter anyway.
Well anyway, your car. For this week, my friend.
So I'm going to share my screen. So tell us a bit about your car
on. It is a 2001 Honda Integra.
It is not any sort of typos, isn't it?
Pretty hot find. These are the looking car is all
original no mods which is also nice to know that has been raised out where somebody which is also frequent issue with Honda's. It is done to and 40,000 cases,
which is a bit high, but for these sorts of engines, I don't think it's a big issue, okay? 20 we're obviously is included
at the asking price, all you have to worry about that, you know, legit car runs and drives very nicely, Schmidt shift smoothly as a no leaks in the engine.
Mechanically sound comes with full service history in books.
Mmm, now, I've been written off or any accidents.
Just a few cosmetic kind of issues with a paint given its age, but apart from that is absolutely fine.
Like I said, it's very poor this car, six months ago from an older person with the intent to turn it into a fun menu weekend car, but unfortunately, I'm in a time of do that as I got too many cars. So it's been sitting in the
driveway as I purchased it. Unregistered a, she looks quite
tidy. I generally am if I had more
space and dad that was going to beat me up.
Sitting on fixed. I wouldn't mind being part of
the Honda Club. Yeah, it was kind of, as I spoke
with a good temperature, mr. Prince, the interior is for me,
the car, I'd take you. If I was to, you know, we set
foot upon the world. Yeah, this is a pretty tight
actually. Like it actually looks really,
really neat, looks very original.
Usually I said, usually there will do Rice doubt but yeah, not really, really, really clean example.
I really like it well done. Good choice.
Now, mr. Rob, you've sent us a car.
Which one is it first? I
know it's not very powerful that are.
We going to be a fun card, a buzz around.
Absolutely. And the twin spark of the twins
bike engines, quite good. Yeah, look at it.
It's dislocates to think that 61,000 case on it 61,000 K that's in case. Cheese.
This is this is a $500, I feel something.
Some speeches going to show up in the description, something to the cosmos, you running it. Look at what it looks so clean.
It does, it's even got rust on the, on the continent, on the this, you know, the cars we've driven her home.
He reckons, he hasn't driven it since covid, Wow, Let's so let's get us a description because the description so it must be something wrong with it but I can't find anything wrong with it boys. So it says you're very low
mileage. Used to 1000 case new batteries.
They fitted runs and drives well could do with a servicer slight hail damage. Therefore is a repairable right
off, okay? See that be very minor blemishes
but always great looking car, very clean internally Leather seats and next thing is usually looks brand-new.
When when they were sort of the back have been loose, will need to be refitted door handles have become sticky will need to be treated ties. Like New Kent.
This car is not registered in their early, but I mean, for 60,000 cases. Surely I'd have to ask them
though if it's good. If it needs a VI VII, but I'd
say it wouldn't, because it's still been on the road at they look like new or newer plates, but you know what?
It's actually really tight. Yeah, no, it looks very clean.
Just doing. These are two very, very good
cards. For the body.
It's missing. A lot of running the little
plastic trim there, but it's an alfa.
You it is, it's a time. It's supposed to be missing part
of those tests but no, this is actually it's clean.
It's so clean. Wow.
What a what a what? A?
What a cool car. No, it's got some wrecker riding
their, I don't know what that is, but sure.
Did you murder in it? How many murders always go?
60,000 case, Now, Holly's son has a car.
Is why I say I stick you something interesting.
It's like being a bit of like mortified.
It doesn't actually do the but it.
Alright. So this is how is this, what
car? So how these kind of the week is
Seven Grand. It's a 1928 Ford Fairlane.
The reason why I say this to you, because we bought these for 1,000 bucks and wrecked it. Yes, we have Seven Grand.
What a boy or girl bought it? Yes, it's the description.
Well, I want the interior is quite quite neat.
It's got Parts in inside the car.
This is big LPG, but it's but it's a, it's a solid gas, solid car, gas and petrol extracted, professionally lowered like a professional. He lured by getting out of their
race. Getting under that Bonnet.
He's almost Wheels. Yeah, Holly it was
professionally load with an angle grinder.
Thank you very much. So this is by a good friend many
in Noble Park. Actually looks alright.
It's not too bad. Wait a supercharger.
I mean you think it'll be fast but that is just what.
It's an old vibrate. I said, I guess I'll guess
over the years, especially 340,000.
But, you know, it's, it's a falcon.
I mean, what gets me know, it's so original everywhere else.
Like, for example, it's got the original stereo but then Wheels but they're not the wheels on the bottom.
It. So I kind of was like I was
like, what the hell? But anyway and it comes in and
it comes to the dog. So like you know, you know that
when you know when a dog comes with the cards, it's good.
I'm going to come in from Alex's, like, hoping it was hoping after covid the prices of covid tax that come back down week by week, but it doesn't look like that's happening.
So now guys, prepare to lose. Actually, no, I've got it my
car. Definitely, not gonna win this
week, let me go. Now we all know we like rollers
because they were reliable, is this registered?
At least. Well, okay, well this is a
girl's booty Barre and Patrick's not here and I got this car for Patrick and he wasn't here. So the speed Manuel Manuel say,
it's a Mexican transmission. It's a good 16 men.
Well, in their original, really let us say.
It's an aircon, sixth a Cassini player, new radiator and to entice a and tires somebody City.
Supposedly wrote this leather, AC /, heaters tempt, six-deck shoe, Okay. It's it's it's 80 right into it,
the material to It tone of it. But I possibly let's put a seat
cover and then you'll pass run with you.
But look, it looks it looks to be all original in size just it's just been lured, you know, it's got the spare wheel, you know, it's on King's Rings all around.
It's a and it's Mexicans, it's a man.
Well, so I think A winter sports favors.
I'm going to acknowledge ciggies slapping.
A pack of tees and 1,200 bucks for the box.
I love it. What's awesome.
New stockings for the Vita in the background.
Yeah. Yeah.
He seems more stories for the beat in the background.
You'll be you'll be sweet but all right.
Well gentlemen it's crunch time. Wow.
What are we picking in? Why?
They are just just clarifying. Rob's 147.
Twin spark three and a half Grand. 60,000 K is repairable
Rod of Judah hail but that's just get some PDR and you got.
You got yourself a pretty cool. Low example, Italian Stallion,
we've got ha I stayed with that, on gas on Wheel, On Wheels list, maybe professions You see applied there, hello.
You had the the tag which was a rich has a really original tag and they wanted how much that I believe those 7500 with a royally with a roadworthy cheap without and I'm so sorry.
And of course you got my car, which is probably actually, to be honest with you, out of all the whole lot to could the quickest car here. Yep, it's a speed.
Then it's a, it's a, you know, you know what, I think this week. We should give it a man, he
figures. He's got a registrable maybe
maybe almost registered. It's important to get your foot
in the booth down. Yeah.
See if you have maybe a couple things you might have to raise it a bit but it might be too low but it almost register it.
Oh my God, always. I mean, last week, I've kept on
with my karate thing from last week, but it's been a lot less.
I don't think it's better than last time.
Well, I mean it's two grand, okay?
It started around and it's a manual and it's a TiVo like a tivo's. Make good pal, we know that.
I mean, hey how your might had one and you don't motor was phenomenal and he became the thing off red line and enjoying himself. Even if you pull the motor out
and put another car to have two grand.
Yeah. You want it so yep.
Yeah. We're all winners.
Loses its, but it's pedestrian so big because you're not gonna be able to see The Pedestrian because I think it takes up like the whole friggin. It's almost as well.
Now, if it was a Commodore would be worth ten times as much, exactly right? It, as we know from last week's
carbon, but we also know that that the last week's cars were also influenced by hashtag ignore the rims.
And we're, which were God Her little bit.
But anyway, that's my story. So we're only two losses, all
witness today but for our listeners at home, what would?
Yes, what would you go for popping the comments.
But yeah, I think we had some really good cast right there.
I think they were, I think they were really, really cool like that. Alpha was pretty sick, the TiVo.
Okay. It was pretty beat, but it's
still, it's They all had the good points, didn't they?
Like the your car was minted, Illinois.
It was frequency. And then, yeah, it's I'm just
thinking of what an alpha once in your life.
They say they say you do that. They say, you know, you need to
know what the pain of Italian motoring ownership is like his Yeah, I think I think that I'd be, I'd be all over that.
And I and the obviously the quiet achiever, well, not so quite with the Bonnet. Like that was, that was, that
was the feeling I quite like this.
So probably in a cruiser extractors tent, you know, professional old with the language, and the least powerful car out of the lot and its really spell forgot.
Five liters of all noise but that's what a glorious noise.
Yeah. And there's old VI.
Bill was a beautiful. Alex is vote for the tea is like
TiVo and in Brackets, and I hate them.
So he's gone for the yeah. He's going for the Corolla up
the roller up to T, do but yeah, that's, yeah.
Interesting, Carla week to this week.
I've never, Seen such an Eclectic me and we've had some eclectic mix has on his car but on this on the show but that was you know we had we had essentially three hatches of pretty much very similar vintage in a land.
Barge Ali it was unique and it's especially I like a put hashtag.
Ignore that ignore Use that Yelp run-in with the VA, all right?
Okay. So as we gotta keep ones, but
there's a great, you know, to express more of me anymore.
I've got an X right here if you wanna, if you wanna be good.
Yeah. It's too nice.
A car and put into a, the prices for them now.
They like 25 Grand. Yeah.
I'm like come on man. It's they're gonna you know
they're cool cop. That's a lot of money.
Yeah. They've gone up.
All right. Absolutely.
They have well gentlemen. I think that's a podcast.
Good stuff. Thanks guys.

A plug you may as well while we're here.
Oh, we're gonna if we're coming, try to come up with a business name and we're going to call it a zippy blast.
Oh yeah, plus it's good but it's not as good as a fabrication firefighting electrical soda. Blasting would be better
wouldn't it robs fabrication? Yeah, about that.
And hopefully it'll take off. Absolutely.
I think that would be. That would be definitely.
Cool more man, giving car Loop a plug.
