Does professional idiot. Drive.
I would do the after hour. Only killing or as we know him
as static. How are you mate?
Good good. How are you good?
How are you all to all you gentlemen, on the podcast this evening hopefully we're doing well doing great.
Thank you. Very well good.
Thank you. Feels weird to see mr.
Prince back in his actual, in his actual digs back in the messy office. Let's see what it's like at
cmeg. The organized chaos.
I believe, I believe he's like coming home.
David as much as you like traveling.
Do you always sort of? Is there a bit of a sense of
relief for sort of you enjoy coming back home again?
I think that's the sign of a good holiday, you know, I think I think you had a great holiday and you've got to come Back and you've got to get back to work and there's people you want to catch up with and things you want to do, when you get home and stuff like that. Go and just say, I think I
touched on it. Last time I was on the podcast
coffee. Okay, yeah, coffee table.
A thing about medicine. The coffee is bad, bad anywhere
else. But here I'll go to say so.
So it's coming up to speed. I think, but, you know, it's
good to give her. Because I always I like
traveling, but I there's a sign of relief in the plane touches down in Melbourne. Just like I don't have to think
about where I'm going or what I'm doing.
I'm just I know where shit is and I sort of, you know, just get on with it. And I always like coming home,
display liking being away. Yeah, I'm trappings brilliant.
Absolutely love it. Comes with, you know, it as many
great experience, there was always hiccups along the way, but you know, you've got to roll with it.
That's part of it. And then.
Yeah, but coming home, I do. Enjoy getting over getting back
into the routine and planning. The next one is some fighting
words from David in regards to your coffee versus else or augment, I don't care about coffee.
It's all. That's the problem we do.
That is the exact problem with. I mean, look at there's plenty
of people around here that do care about coffee.
You might have seen her recently on the news, actually, dude, in Western Sydney selling 1500 or cups of coffee.
He's actually a good friend of mine.
He's been on the podcast before me a real Abbi.
Yeah. All right, yeah.
So that's legit people do, pay that much money for coffee.
I had one recently was on a current affair of the news or something that was two hundred dollars a cup.
Which I thought was a bit doubtful that 15 manages, absolutely Next Level, the only 450 made out of myrrh like it like it like it. Let's go.
The foothills of volcanoes. It's roasted 10 days before
Hillary essentially you put the order in for it it's roasted then and there and then flown over on a private jet.
Yeah. What the hell?
Viewer questions 2.0. So we start with some questions
last week and we're going to continue with that this week, so we'll start with mr. David Prince, obviously, we
start with you because one you're the first person on the podcast, but to you have come back from Scotland.
That I've just butchered that for the 50th time in the last five episodes next now. So let's start with You what's
been happening? Since you've been back, look,
he's from as far as characters. Can I think you'll need to refer
back to me next week? I've, I've started back to work.
So I jump back straight back into the van and it's working the CRVs working at these relatively, new cars are all words right ahead to jumpstart the Jazz the Jesuit.
The Jess doesn't do enough mileage to get the battery charged ring didn't like sitting for five weeks by itself.
Yeah, haven't started the end one yet, but I want to sad and take it for a run to charge the battery up a bit, but I just haven't had a chance so far. But I did get to, I did do a
sneaky little check-in at the Honda dealer, in Singapore.
I Googled that and got a taxi down there and that was enlightening. I don't know if any of the
others guys here know much about Singapore and cars and stuff but it's pretty crazy. Over there.
By the time you get your certificate of entitlement that entitles you to buy a car. Which for anything under 1.5
liters is a is 100,000, Singapore dollars to get which is basically works like you read Joe for 10 years I believe it lasts for 10 years and you go buy another one.
So that's like 10 grand a year for reject your, then go down to had a special at the moment. The current model HRV was on a
deal. It was Fifty thousand three
hundred dollars, model CRV so HIV.
So like or cool bagging, you know, let's go and buy a few.
I don't understand how there are so many cars in Singapore.
Everything was crazy expensive. So yeah, I have heard that and
keeping them for a certain amount of time is.
Yeah, not cheap. No, I did say it's etiquette.
Right. We're not coming to Singapore.
That's just ridiculous. We're not moving.
Imagine having In your collection in or my collection for that matter. I mean imagine trying to run
that is that would be know if I would not have them, they'd all be gone. However, I did think of you all
because the other night I was we were in a taxi and e220 2016 e220. So what's that a w 212 to
students. So they run them for eight years
over there and this was ran perfectly find in any squeaks or brands or anything. And it's like that they had
ometer thinking, that's a lot of numbers on that odometer.
This had the extra digit, had 1 million 248,000 block, 1 million to 1.3 million. Well, 248,000 and I said to the
guy, his am I reading that right?
Is this car done over a million kilometers?
He said. Yep.
Yep, he said Japanese Korean cars.
He said they don't have the extra Digit.
So you've got to go, you've got to take into account, but the beds has an extra digit, who, what?
So did you buy land on an island?
The size of Singapore. Do we've done that many caves in
sort of six years? Has it been rebuilt and you know
what's it? Happily said, not.
He said it's the original engine but I mean a I don't know that he'd know. Wasn't his taxi was?
Yeah. Taxi that they wear it like a
badge of honor. I was in a bed, still issued
yesterday, doing some work and told them they sent you get a photo. I said of I got a photo she said
I'll send it to be able to be able to show the client sees it.
That's that's fantastic. But yeah.
So I thought well there's there's well argument for a keeping cars running, you know keeping them warm and on the road all the time. Then spin the Middle East.
Where happened is that helps? Yeah, I was it a Maybach that
I've done, 250,000 case, when I when I went in that met back in Adelaide. Why not 250?
250. I was laying like definition of
depreciation. That Is it?
Yeah, that's how many percent depreciation it's experienced in the correct? Yes.
He's like, yes. And he's like I've driven it
since it was since it was new and lure.
It, we are retiring it because I think the last bill was something in extremely substantial thought because it's got, its got two spark plugs for all of the 12 cylinders pots to call packs for each of its talk cylinders plus it is plus that I think not, I think one of the one of the bills was like fifteen thousand dollars and it was just something something nuts. And I'm like, does it make that
much money to justify the car? He's always like the really
reason we got it because he's the Huddle like other lemurs and stuff. They're the only reason we got
this car was just to say that we've got them.
It was also kind of like a like a showpiece like you know, but but it ran really well. It's it was super comfortable
than the leather felt like brand-new and in the interior felt really good. But yeah, they can do case if
they're constantly on the road and if you keep up as Ken Burns, my says, the maintenance and would, would would attest to that. But yeah, I yeah, to and 50,000
anime back. But that, but that, that, that
Mark that you just said, is leaves up for nothing.
Made that that it's barely running at this point, isn't it?
So that would be a very hard used card a price that Maybach.
Yeah, it did. Just be a tough one to put a
figure on. What do you reckon?
What year was it? Like, how old is this thing?
It was like three or four years on.
It wasn't hard at all, like it was not an old guy, it's a four-year-old Maybach, the 250 on it and his music.
I mean, it's still going to be 150 Grand.
Doesn't? It has to be right, but surely,
you think they're right smarter? Yeah, I don't know. 150, there's
my step anyway. Well, I did ask him.
I'm like, what is going to run with it?
He's like surprisingly nothing. Just just maintenance issues in
like these. Like the brakes are expensive
and anything and anything is just expensive.
Is I just expect to pay but so far so good.
Oh my God. Okay.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I suppose. 50,000 cases and
takes it into that 150,000 and takes it into that.
Proportionate sort of demographic that is going to attract people to like 7-series bm's and yeah that that they get to a point value wise where they enter a whole other Market don't die so 450 you know people are going.
They could buy a new Benz or hang on like a by my back my back were 250 on the clock having I mean I'm just pulling that figure out my ass. I have no idea really but Yeah I
think the case would certainly heard it.
Yeah, absolutely. Well, there you go.
That's about me. That's you done Heath.
We actually, before we get into your car because we caught up recently in Melbourne, you came you getting at the moment for for keep it. Read the drift event there.
Yep, you're mad invite. Yeah, I know, I know, I know
caught up or went to the pub. It was just, did you get to tell
it? Ate his dinner.
I didn't I didn't I had and I got something to tell you.
Here we go. Mary Mary came out and ate your
dinner. What was my dinner?
Steak sandwich. Thanks.
Anyway, it was really good to buy hate steak sandwiches so that's when you can. Add ha ha ha.
But before we get to your Heath and and seeing what you're up to, we are also joined by the the great one.
The how we do, we do saying the WRX STI.
The eye doctor, STI, mr. Allen deep Singh, as well as he
has to wxia. WX has as well as in studio with
him, mr. Adrian digiorgio.
Welcome to the show, guys. Where are you?
The Savior came all the way to the studio.
For you came all the way to the studio, to see you.
I called very good question. Where are you?
I'm in my house, my house. So I had a really busy day and
yeah, long story short that I couldn't get there, but anyway, I'm good to see you. Good to see you will get back
into Heath's updates Heath update with you now.
You're looking to move the Civic on.
Yes, yes it is. It's time for it to go because I
got a gnat Janina special I have over 30 free car, a lap.
So time to sort of move this, EV going to sort of make way and help register that essentially. So what a free car.
But you know, you like this, very happy in its apogee era.
What year 2004 and P Pajero believe a very good model.
Is that the 3.2 didn jin'? It's a 3.8 petrol, grunting
grunty, I'll give it that. Good old Magna engine right
there and what greater we you know, GLX GLS, Platinum exceed.
I don't exceed actually, it's got leather and a roof.
Yeah it's got leather no roof and wooden steering wheel but it would slip in grip wouldn't Or something.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well exceed C.
So it's, it's a pretty good spec actually.
They go quite a while but not extremely well looked after.
Hmm, which is kind of why I got it for free as you but yeah, let's drive. Yeah, it does.
It needs a few things like battery number one lazy I definitely help but it's a very easy thing.
What was it was rocker. Cover gaskets leaking from on
those engines. I'm told.
The four-wheel drive actuator. So super select system, you know
you've tried you've tried putting into four-wheel drive.
Yeah, no good. A good, no bueno, there's a
Wheels on. The dash is City flashing at you
and now you're lashing, what more have you done that correctly? Because to put it into to put it
from rear drive to all-wheel drive, you can do that on the fly, but then to go into send, a diff lock and low range.
Center, diff lock, you need to be in neutral and stop to do that. So if you're trying to do that
on the flight will just flash at you and it won't work.
It was it was in my driveway, trying to sort of check that out. So always thought that that was
an issue to start with go for a jog around the block and try because because when you go from, if you just do it, when you stop to go from rear to all you've got to be moving for it to lock in at all Flash and their little engage in there will go solid. So just try it drive around the
block and going in a straight line under under 100 day say And if it should do that, I generally don't try and put things in four-wheel drive. Anywhere near 100 select system.
You can up to 100 Grand. Hmm.
That's why it's called super select.
The select driving. That sounds fun.
Sure. Yeah.
Okay. You do that.
Yeah. So that's that's come into my
life. It's now hanging out at the
front and things like going to Melbourne for a weekend.
Like keep it read and high-tech toils drift all And then surprise trips to motor X because that was on the same weekend. Why not?
They're the reason the Pajero is not sort of getting anywhere at the moment. It was the money goes to those.
Yeah, when I stop doing things like that, I've got a few sort of weekends, not not a big trees, but I just got a few weekends that are going to take more time than money at the moment. Once everything is all settled
down a bit, I can actually get some time to put into that, which is going to be really cool.
No ice. So, ultimately that will be my
tow vehicle. I don't remember what we What I
spoke about last time because I changed my mind a lot and if you guys have noticed that it's a common theme for me, I think I might have spoken about the Brumby that I bought cool.
You mentioned it to me. I didn't you ever mention on the
show? Okay.
So I bought a Brumby, it's it's not in great condition.
The idea behind that was I was going to build that as a drift car, that idea is now out the window.
I'm going to actually build that because my first car was a Brumby I'm actually now going to build that into the car I wanted when I was on my period. Is, which was essentially a
global WRX underpinnings are very cool that should that should keep yourself happy as well.
So that means I still need a drift car because drift car things. So the D20 to get set.
Because when you on the show, last me said, you're going to sell that and they decided to keep it, you know.
Sailed my wife is very thrilled that I was going to buy the brand B and then build a drift car out of that.
And d22 was going to go to either fund.
That always going to be parted out to help build it.
But now just keeping both, so she's really happy about that.
She offered he can sleep on the couch.
They did. Actually, yeah, yeah, I've been
there. I've been there for a couple of
weeks now. It's really comfy.
Have you? Put your groove into the couch
or a view of one Mangrove and everything up.
Hey, lovely. The at that?
That's a typical car guy thing to have it to have a Groove in the couch. Yeah, but so, that's there.
Any other updates besides that? I mean, you've made both Edward
happy and you made LM happy with the, with a WX injured in a I mean, are you know, in a probably any other things so you're going to sell the the Civic and sometimes that yet, he not yet it. It also needs help.
Okay. It's an e j8.
Isn't it? EJ 8.
So it is the D16 Y8. So it's a the VTEC very
underwhelming VTEC motor. It needs a head gasket, it's
driving. Did I hear Subaru and needs a
head gasket? Yeah, but not in the same
sentence. How weird is that?
Uh yeah, I'm pretty sure if I actually got the brown be running it at. Need a head gasket to I've done
because I want as my first car, I did many, many head gaskets and multiple engines in My Brother.
Scott. Are you listing Scott?
I'm less and so I expect a lot more of that.
When I actually get into that build, Sir, got plenty, plenty of cars to work on at the moment.
I'm not not. Why can't these cars on this?
These choices are sold at, I'm on board with these.
He's on board. This is it's hardly that on
board with anything really get. No.
It's not really not that hard to get me on board.
I can be coerced into most things.
I had a Ford Taurus. Remember yeah.
Let's probably as I said I've said it a million times on the show. I cannot believe you.
The only for you ever owned besides this, to Falcon LP R LP did besides until that point Taurus.
Like the 400-plus cars that you've actually owned the owned, one Ford and I was the worst 40. Intercourse.
Yeah, I can be convinced. I didn't listen Cedric for the
1960s. Oh that's a cool color are cool.
Girl. I didn't have a living steel.
I know. I know Scotty update with you
updates with me. I think I mentioned last week
that I painted the rear spoiler for the Subaru.
You did. Yes sir.
That is done. I put it on at Looks a little
bit dull. I just got to give it a proper
poly shop to get it. Looking nice and shiny again.
Looks like I have fix that tire for the 31.
I've been checking it daily in the type pressure stays the same. So looks like that problem is
solved, so that's good. I can put that if you fix that
Scott, what was it? It was weird.
It was leaking for one spot and I thought I just used a bit more of the the Silicon stuff that it says user sikaflex in certain in certain spots just to make sure it's done properly, seal it back and then it was and then it was leaking again.
I was like, oh, what the hell? And I was the same one and the
bolt that I use, like actually threaded itself.
Well, I actually wasn't tightened.
I could sit there and just keep turning it forever.
And as you mean the bolt, you resealing the tire on the rim.
No no. The the three-piece rims of
putting the pieces back so yeah it was and it was leaking through there so I took that one off.
Luckily I still have another like still got a few more bolts so I cleaned up one of those ones put that one in there and I just kept tightening and tightening.
I mean, it's meant to be 30. 35, 36 newton meters of torque.
I did that with all the rest and did it properly in the order, but this one is like that stuff is just one on its own.
So I just kept going until I couldn't really tighten it that much more and I heard no more hissing or leaks and I do my back up and nothing has been fine.
So we know, we know. Yeah.
I think I fixed it. We know that our car show that
cars pretty much done. Now, from what?
I know of. Yeah, yeah.
Have you done that boot drain plug grommet?
Ah well that was on the list so it's not done.
Now, I'm not going to take it back to them, that's for sure.
Slutty, I think it's time now. You've got the wheels, it can
drive. Yeah, get it done.
Oh I got the the wheel bearings for the Subaru.
The right ones came, right? So supposedly the proper, proper
ones for is what they're saying? Even though on the front it says
suits VW and Audi I put it on there, run, run away, looked at it yet. I'll just it's at mums.
So she just sent me a photo of the box so they probably said, let's go to the pub. The Robbie said, Subarus got
four engines old VW Golf let in just this will do.
And then they're just, they're just say, see if it fits.
I care. I'm gonna pull it all apart
again and then find out doesn't fit.
So yeah, fingers crossed. I love it.
Absolutely love it. Well, move on to Edward.
Hello updates update to update updates, haven't bought anything, haven't sold anything but have been driving the classics. I put the iDrive dad.
Drove the MX-5 I drove the Honda City for the last week or so and I've just swapped that for the Mercury Coupe which by special request from our friend, Tommy. I had to drop him in his Range
Rover. It sort of follow him up to the
country, to drop it, a repair guy and I said, what car would you like me to bring Tommy? And he goes, I'll bring the
coop. I haven't seen in ages.
All right. So it was sort of right at the
back and I have to drag a few things out to get it out and it's a bit of a hassle anyway, got it out but I'm glad I did it's a good country car. So I've been driving that last
few days and probably all this week but I stumbled across a nice bargain on the turaga go Facebook owners.
Group Adrian slugged me, they do and you might now but you wait till you hear what I got to say. I like the throg.
Oh that's right. You do actually do.
So the newest guy who put a photo up if he's beige base model so think it's a DX you know, 1986 sort of troga and it's really clean. It's a beautiful looking looking
machine. And he said, I just for all
those out there, with a car, be engine to L, you know, why are 21 or Mine is there's a special on a trip.
Co at the moment for air filters there on clearance and the normally sixty four dollars each they're on clearance at eight dollars. Each and any goes available
online. Just nominate your nearest store
and they'll get delivered to that store, whatever.
And I was like eight dollars each and then I thought, oh God, that's a bug. And I probably should invest in
an air filter and then I thought, well, I'll probably should invest in a few at that price.
You know, I had this mental sort of game of how many is too many do I have $80. All of them.
All of them is the answer I'm in here filter was like, am I going to need in this? You sell for a profit, we'll
probably see me 20 years, I don't know?
Hey, you're not doing it right, what you supposed to do, supposed to call the store. Say, many of these are in the
warehouse, don't say 150. You say done.
What do I do without it? And 50?
I go once you're dealing to buy like a pulley on the market and what you're gonna do is you're going to say to people on the on said, Facebook page, you're going to be like, I've got these original filters. I know what I've got. 60 bucks
each and then making me out of the box as well.
I settled on five hits, you don't replace an air filter.
Every service. That might be every Only 1000 K
or so I could but I'm a little you can sell slightly used original. Anyway, I didn't buy any more
than five. I got to pick him up this week.
40 bucks. That's not unreasonable, 40
bucks less than one filter and I get five filters.
That's a dancer should have done 100 bucks.
Yeah, yeah. 100 bucks is going to is going to outlast Ed really
the manager? If any drugs, how much was it?
A box normally 64. You've done $64 worth and maybe
I should order a couple more second, guess myself.
So that's that that's all. I've been buying and buying I
did drive Tommy's Range Rover up country though on Sunday and this is the 93 Vogue with the air suspension at drug does drive very well. Good Highway car, not as good as
the beans. But, you know, it's still a nice
old for a Range Rover. It's a good Ranger.
Hmm. Is the Lancet advertised the
Lancer? Is awaiting?
A good question, David. It's been a while.
It's a waiting roadworthy on Saturday and then read your booking June 7 because you always got to wait a couple of weeks to get the region. So yeah, it's going in June 7
for read, Joe, and then, and then it will be advertised straight away. Yeah.
So I'm it's just in storage at the moment.
Everything is done to it. It's polished the rear bars.
Done tires on fun, you know, timing belt, you know, fan belt done service, cool, and all that.
So yeah it's good fine, ready to get over more, not quite ready to go but as ready as I can have it, I've been one of the Eds neighboring streets in a lock-up, garage down, the street, the other time. When was the last time I went
to, in place of man and he's like, oh yeah, that's my kind of the day that my code. Sometimes there's a few, but not
of not in recent times. I've been pretty light on stock.
I didn't go looking, do I think David's a good source of leads and he's been away. So now that he's back, he can
feed me a few ladies. Look at Ya, please tell me that
when you have all the cars together like at a one spot you have a container of all your keys and in like lucky dip.
I've never ever had all of my cars in one place and I think it would actually be quite overwhelming if I did like that.
I saw them all in a line, I think I'd pass out and just cars too. Stressful, is too many.
How many is it? Now?
I think 10. I've not been 10 plus, the
Caravan, plus whatever is in stop, it was a gate sort of 10 to 12 to 13 back to 10 again. But the call then plus the other
10 plus the other and the other five yufuin.
Imagined all lined up, they would take up my whole street, it would be really stressful having them or maybe at my funeral. You know, you guys can all drive
one each. Yeah.
Like that and sort of have a bit of a mini car show the funeral.
That would be nice. Your next birthday.
You just tell us when it is, will all bring the cars out in through the street. You've got about a month so it's
not long to get all you, do you do you?
You know, you do your They had with.
Look, let's just old drive your cars work.
I've only got insurance to have three on the road at any one time so if you all rear end each other, I would like to say, like that won't happen. But in us, what happened?
Very good Adrian updates with you.
Well, I'm at the studio. He arrived in the discovery that
did not break in the way. I think that's a surprise.
And you're not here. You went to work, he's got
working for. Yeah.
I just I came straight from work in the Disco in any shop times.
Adrian what year is that disco again 98 on on it.
So it's a disco to this kind of fun that a very light, disco one. Yeah yeah so I like to call it
the Disco 1.5. The interior is all disco to.
Yeah. So you've got the nice air
conditioning with the 1234 fan and the normal dials here doesn't work. Yeah, it does.
Actually, it's really cold in the name of that car is called the fridge because it's actually nice and cold inside and it's just eyes of a fridge turns quite well, is that it?
This guy's like the one I had and Tommy's Range Rover, the 93.
He's got the same, the climate controls absolutely unusable and the most unorganized week aircon system I've ever seen.
Even after owning that car for eight years I still didn't know what it did on. How do you get cold hot with it?
It's just a dog's breakfast. And in that disco One update
like yours. They just made it like every
Camry. One, two, three, four, hot cold.
Where do you want it on your faces?
Sophie, you know, there's some is dual climate control.
I can choose like hot in the front and like in a back it's called even better although Freedom, excuse it to econ, sorry he won't call them the back as well but the card is chose a friend of David of mine called.
I'm at out of control because it never generally does what you want follows be so nice. This is actually pretty good.
Hmm do you put calm down? And it's actually called you
know like okay actually it's got better aircon than the M3.
Yeah, that wouldn't be hard. It's been.
Yeah well I think the Japanese are the ones who just perfect today. Good luck Camry.
Are contoured area. Consists amazing e.
That's all it's always good. I will agree with that.
I will agree with that. Um all those view, I drove the
STI around the other day so I had to get it washed off because it's set in the my best. To drive it out of the garage
down in the backyard of the house.
While they're doing, the solar panel work and putting the battery in the garage and in the garage kind of got weirdly full of stuff. So I can drop the car back into
it. It was kind of just stuck behind
the garage for about I think two months.
So finally, finally took it out coming back, will coming down to that area? I think I do need to adjust the
ramping a little bit because there's just one point where it He wants to scrape. So I heard bit of a little scrap
of felt on the car, nothing abnormal there.
So it must be a very minor minor scrape.
So if I want to part with like pocket there regularly for like walking or whatever, I'm WRX is rally cars, he's cool.
That would be cool because will be a rally car.
According to my car. Well disposed to lower the car,
and I haven't even done that racket.
Yeah, it was a real nice. I've got fresh feeling it.
You know, when I go on the freeway on-ramp, you know if only got reminder of, you know, and natural faster car for once like that's nice but, you know, it's not gonna win any races.
Speaking of the MX-5 me, and you Betty had a lovely Adventure in trying to get the stock stereo out.
Would you go for the better part?
3 hours? My hands are still showing the
remnants of your car, by the way, the sub still.
They still out. Just Do you think that right?
You think that I'm about sixty seven dollars worth of removal tools in here from different companies including yelled all over and super cheap and redcurrant?
Yeah and I think we've lost a fingernail or two we use screwdrivers. We've done a bunch of different,
is it took us three hours to basically move the unit?
Because whoever like looking at last time to not do the way they do, then do the way. They were supposed to and bend
few things. So I kind of said it Many could
have got it out easily. I thought last week show you
would have he would have gone. Boom, Boom, Balloon up with was
out but that wasn't the case. No, we, I felt a little
Vindicated because, you know, I thought it would be a little bit embarrassing on me. If I didn't catch it right now
and then Kind of, finally got it at the end and now I've got a unit that does Wiles carplay from quite happy about. Well, it's interesting who put
that you have with the original, you know, back in when they've taken it out, they left the tabs pushed out.
So the reason why when you put your tools in there just going straight in behind and not touching the tabs because I bent in the wrong way. So I had to go from behind
other. Take the glove box, the out, go
behind the glove box, push it in.
It was just a yeah. It was a bit of a nightmare, but
we got there, skinned Knuckles and all we got there.
R. But but yeah it was you've got
to you've got, we got really, you got good stuff now so yeah very happy with it. I can you know, make calls and
everything else and don't worry about taking my eyes off the road. Yeah, you know it's like am I
would have done it in five seconds.
Oh, I really like to keep the rest of the Interior intact given that it's here. It's Japanese class tickets,
suits brittle. It is not as brittle as European
Plastics. I can tell you that much.
Much. There's this true.
It's all right. Nothing.
Really much of the for the guise of mine here.
Last week, I think you w probably heard it on the way on the podcast that I did for my range and meaningful.
I didn't go in for that but I found an extra 6 2010 mind.
In the variance, a very good lead condition I bought that last week two weeks ago. Yeah, it's been going around
enjoying that, and basically, will things the doing to it.
But, other than that, nothing really nothing really out of the ordinary. Very good because I'm sobs,
what's up? Yeah.
Yes, actually. In honor of your vision.
I felt I felt like Voyager on the front Bonnet.
You know, going to Madrid foot Market are representing your vision for Australia, turns out the guy that lead singer without that was his first car and he still got it.
And and that that actually call that they used on the thing is the guy. I bought plenty of parts from
before in the spring too many times in the UK his name's Neal Jones. He's like the MR2 Guru in the UK
because they got Brazilians on there.
And he kind of sauce the car for him and and that I think they removed the engine and stuff to make it, to make it easy to know why to wait to just put onto the stage and everything.
But now that cars doing some rounds at dealerships and things because it's kind of like a, you know, a kind of a comical, especially think so. All right on it.
Is it a nosy car or you take her?
That one's our UK car because like he didn't ship his actual car over R. So, but I'm but he's actual car
is, I don't think it's a. I don't think it's an Aussie
delivered on the one, he actually owned.
I think it's a Japanese because we never got the t-bar as an option here. We only got Sunrise before up,
but everywhere else did in the world.
So you have been driving that he's which has been great.
I finished my mom's reverse camera and head unit in her car, so that's all working great. She's wrapped.
So yeah, my sister got a flat tire in it and there.
Anyway, lots long story, long story, short mom's just like, well, I'm glad I've got one child that.
Cares about my car so I'm like, yep that's that's that's fair enough. I put ya modified or not
modified. I think about how you decorated
the, the camera is a shame. He couldn't find the screws of
the agreement that he bought to go to school.
And so he just use the original smooth and they were obviously a bit longer. They started screwing it into
why it's not a spoon, the best you.
And I'm not actual front of the fascia, Little Dot.
A little dot come out. Is that that probably that
anyways, get going with the other four screws then someone don't end up being four dots on the page.
Yes, it's got this for screw the screws that have pushed the best. Oh, no, I haven't pushed the
right through, but they got dots and I'm like, Oh my to my mom.
I'm like, I'll buy you another face show because it was a place. You could quite cheap for it.
I might like, she's like, no, like it.
And I'm like, well, I mean, if you can speak Braille, you could probably like, understand it because it is, So so so, so there's that there's that, but that's virtually all my carp dates Gentlemen. Let's get into some obviously
tonight's topic, which is answering viewers question 2.0.
So, this is where we basically going to answer our viewers questions that they've asked. So, here's a question for you,
guys. What was it?
This is from James Billingsley. What was the car that you really
liked until you drove it? And then you like this, as
terrible. I'm sorry.
What was the car that you like that?
You like until you drove it? Who could, who would like to
start some discussion Land. Rover Series cars?
Yeah, just any of them. Any of them?
They look amazing. I Learned to Drive in one on a
farm so that's fine on a farm and, you know, but your any of them on the road are abominable and I want to like them.
I think they're cool. If I owned a farm I probably go
buy one but Is a road car awful, awful awful, I'll try and think of more. I've got a pretty controversial
one Ford Ranger who all of them all yeah bitch we are used to work in a like a vehicle body building Factory.
We'd have to we'd have to drive them to go and get the bodies painted and whatever else. The gearboxes were never good in
him. The orders were horrendous, they
did, they did come better as Tom's going on obviously, but they're just, I don't know. They just still Leslie.
Agricultural, considering the price that you now pay for them.
How old were these Rangers on you?
These weren't the first cars because I had that 3.2 diesel
like yours Tyrone. I think with the auto, the five
cylinder and I thought for a dual cab, you it drove pretty well, but maybe I don't have a lot of comparison.
So what how long ago was this? It was a reason was a reason.
I was it So the ones that I drove while they were brand-new were around doing 2012 to 2014, we are going back a bit now.
But even the new ones they for what they what they cost you though, they do not drive well at all.
The highlights of the same year when you boil when it boils and okay, the guy that bought my Ranger owner highlights.
He jumped into my range and posed and test drive well grow around, basically his eye. This is so much better than all
those he does. I'll add supporting go over Ali,
Fini can feel it, I guess a reindeer on.
It was flying over to speed up than you couldn't do it.
Yeah, that's that's the feedback I've heard.
Is that, you know yeah, Hilux is more agriculture in the range.
The better driver. But yeah it doesn't mean it's
good. It might just be the best of a
bad Bunch according to heat. Yeah like I said very
controversial but mine mine was 2016.
So I don't know the earlier ones.
I mean, they did look around as I want to avoid an area Ranger, but in terms of you could generalize and say, dual-cab Utes, you know, that none of them Drive particularly well-liked. I remember, when I had the
range, of course, I still have their Pajero and I was still called the coil springs of the Pajero and their monocoque.
And all of that, it just drives, so much better than this bumpy choppy Ranger big difference in the way those two drove.
But that's just the nature of dual-cab.
Utes on a ladder frame chassis, that's what.
You get can confirm that with the Nevarez as well and of our overall, her no mind to take that for Joyrides.
And yeah, it's another horribly riding car to.
Yeah, choppy choppy. Make choppy.
I remember 1990 Volkswagen, finally got around to Bringing out the Mark 1 golf convertible. So we got of the later version
of The Mark, 1 convertible sold new in Australia.
Yes the Volkswagen and Mercedes dealer into a quarrels.
They were world's Motors years ago there now.
Mercedes-Benz touring. They're also a Volkswagen
actually Volkswagen Audi and something else dealership back thigh and Subaru. Dealership back then to that lnc
were bringing them in. And yeah.
I had a driving one of these convertibles.
I thought was the coolest thing wasn't wasn't at all awful heavy and that before that car kind of Shake.
Ya ratley clunky, very disappointing.
This is brand-new. Yeah.
Well expensive at the time I'm are quite expensive.
Very expensive. Like 40 Grand.
Yeah, I was going to say 38 something.
Yeah, brandish and 1990 so it's a 30 years ago.
Shit. It's a lot of money back then.
It was a lot of money back then. Yeah, I would like, they do
like, how does you know? The coolest young, a sports car.
You can buy. It wasn't a sports car.
Yeah, it's an injection and a heavy steering and just ratley clunky. Scuttle.
Horrible things. Yeah.
What about Utah, run? I don't know everything.
I actually don't have a car. I thought you supported by a
car. That's a fabulous.
Alice waited, but he is trying to be nice right now.
No, no, I think trying to get sponsored by Ford any day.
No boys. No, I don't have anything.
Nothing at you cause you want, Alum and Adrian.
What's your first aider anything?
I can really think of is a died saving BMWs, AJ, Civic was a poser was a yeah. And you like to tell you drove
it. Yeah, I had one for like, two or
three months. It was the worst driving car and
I got rid of it straight away. Okay.
Nigger that I did not like it in the slightest.
If yeah I'd say maybe it's because of the fact that this car was absolutely like trashed. I bought it trash is a
deterministic steam better, do it.
Yeah they're all it had to be 16 am 53.
No. So I was quite a fun car but
yeah, it just did not handle you drive it, and it's nothing but we will hop as well. Like, this is pension.
I'm pretty sure was shot and just turned file car park on that like Actually, I'm not going to say it's a carbon.
There's a war mod. If we can go down that path air
bags they did not help the M3 in the slightest and it was a high regret putting them in suspension wise.
Yeah. I was thinking like not going
off in your face for us in your face.
I understand a lot of people find them.
Very, very good. In fact, you know,
Life-changing. I'm I've heard you know, when
they work properly. Yeah, I don't like airbag
suspension. It made the ride.
Way too hard. Couldn't quite.
You can't Corner properly anymore with it.
I just thought that it's not worth it.
Putting them on sports cars. Are you gonna revert back to the
original suspension in it or if I can find cheap coilovers either way? Okay, what kind of a system was
it that you that you're running? Is it is it all struts?
Yeah. So it's all the way live struts
which is designed for the car which were from a lift and then I've got two of the Blair compressors and a fully the tank. So by the way, the think so.
So you'd run out of here pretty quick.
I imagine not it's the biggest tank you can get in it.
Okay, five gallon 5-gallon sorry if I could Yes, I've got that like, who pumps up really quickly but it just, it's doesn't know how to handle Corners.
The I've done it all properly where you going to have the handbrake walk out, and all that other stuff.
All the needed to do was just go to engineering, to get it engineered, but I never done it. And as I said, like, driving it
around before I put the airbags on.
I went for a nice cruise up. Bright Halls Creek, awesome in
that car, and it felt sporty, it felt, it was just nice, was just a nice cup same as driving around the streets.
Like at home, the gone to, and from where it was just a comfortable car. But then, as soon as I put
airbags into it, and I've adjusted everything properly, as in because they still come with. It's a coilover style so you can
adjust the height, like still got, like, all that kind of stuff, and they're just a little properly and get still very firm, very hard ride. Have you taken someone to have
it? Have a look at it, because it
shouldn't be that. It should be a lot softer than
Factory went full soft as well. What I'll put because it's got
on the top, you can change the firmness settings went, all soft drive it around for a week and still same thing which is very high. Harsh right?
It's just the air in the bag. So it's just the way that it is.
Do, you know what kind of pressures you running at the tat? Like when you're at full sort of
ride height? I guess I can't remember
exactly. I think was around that, the 30p
assign Mark, but well, I should be hard at all.
Yeah, like that, that's off because I know that like, we started running it, like, extremely hard at the start because it will told me to run it at 50p.
It's high in the system and I'd see the wheels coming off the ground. Every time you go over a speed
hump, because just so firm. And then, I've adjusted them
damn like to what I think is the right area and we're still same thing. Just very very harsh, right?
So, talk, top tip. Don't don't dampen their bags
and your daily drive. It's not worth it.
Leave a better mind through the trades.
Got a 116 bins. That's on a bags and it's it
really looks. Looks the part it's metallic
blue and it's it won some International award.
Or the most instagrammed bagged our or something hot couple years ago is and those have next to nothing and the thing, you know, it look, everybody just, you know, don't get me wrong.
Like, they look fantastic. Like, an amazing, welcome to
drive it anywhere. It's an absolute pain.
Realize this, when I was putting the bags in, you need to keep on top of all the fittings. Oh yeah.
Every time like that you driving.
Yeah, just a fitting. The side Tire.
I don't want to work that corner because going down Yuan Li and limping down the street like that.
Although y'all are they all push to connect fittings.
He's gonna ask you just plug them in.
Yeah, yeah, definitely need to look at a different setup.
As far as that goes, will turn the push to connect a notoriously bad for leaking. As I said, I'm just testing him
and I'm just going to be gone. Going normal suspension now.
Yeah, anything anything. Even when we must, when we
should drive, the truck is all the target is all are pressured run. Run by a and yeah, you like you
literally, we had to have like I still have a manual lock as well and put that on because you can't trust it.
Driving on the road is that that air pressure that tailgate let's go. You're gonna be covering the
freeway who realize that. That's why I always had that
many lock on Just for Safeguard. Yeah.
And for me it would have been WRX not good.
Which for me was obviously the gulf that I would have driven with the DSG, they'll still in the earlier days of GDs you give boxes just You're so frustrating, so front.
Like they haven't obviously the 2003's as well.
Yeah, do my best. But for me, it was the first
experience so it again earlier days.
Well, more find these days again, but I just had a terrible time with it. Seems so cool that I might
because mother got one for work and he's like, look, it's got, you know, a dual-clutch gearbox and you can he's got seven speeds and all that jazz because I'm used to, you know, you for Speed / boxes so I go. Wow, this is so cool for
automatics and it's like, you know, super cars or something and I She got to drive one and it's terrible.
Like the cars is hesitating and doing weird things and you know you like lean on takes out a little bit and it's about to shift up and then you need a foot before you down.
There's just confused and like a cars coming at you and you're like, get a move on. I'm going to die here, just so
frustrating and then out of nowhere, you're just wrong.
You just steer away what's going on.
So just absolutely hated it. Like the north wanted, when you
wanted to and then just like, or something too hard.
And just always like kind of weirdly shifting through the gears, you always felt that doing something and just didn't they? Like it didn't feel like you had
the benefits on automatic. We just don't think you just put
your foot down and you go but also like you know it didn't have the the coolness of manually the way you actually shifting into the gear kind of feeling that engagement.
It was like the worst of Both Worlds.
Yeah. Mums else is the same.
I know exactly what you're talking about.
You always like I'm going to die today.
Have taken. It's a business.
Did you ever put into reverse to?
Try it? Like reverse the car backwards?
Yeah. Most likely.
Because all the fun Mum's Car like you go putting through a verse and it's it hesitate. And then out of nowhere, it's
100 kilometers an hour in reverse and you just like you give trying to further accelerate on break so that you can actually fall break here. You can actually reverse it.
So yes, I Hear You original, those are recall not as well.
So, you know, one that comes to mind I guess is probably.
Dad's car, the Holden Colorado after driving that that was are going to truck is probably easier to drive.
You're right. He just got to just sounds so
loud like I can. A truck again is quieter than
this thing just on idol, it was just hard to drive harder and harder didn't even really exaggerated crap.
What what what year is it probably like 20, 17 or 18?
That one that was still with Zuzu.
I don't, I don't know too much about him.
I think it is because also has to be better during that time compared to the start. Let me double-check or not,
might be the one just before the 2018.
So, I think that just because when I was using was with Holden, like I think it was supposed to be the better.
Engine that came out with those users or something like that that Holden were using. And then once they split just
yeah, the Colorado went downhill.
Okay, I'm not sure what it is, but it's not that.
That's not too old. That from my knob doesn't really
have that many cases on it but well, it is awful to drive.
I did not enjoy in one bit, it just didn't handle like, you know, I guess coming from what dad, had was a nice arm Hyundai Santa Fe that thing was fantastic, I love that car.
The interior was nice, it drove nice.
Great diesel. You know, could still do a
little bit of for driving but I know dad wanted something more a bit more in Chuck more of these camping gear in the back.
And that's so we went to Colorado and it's got big bull bar. That already came with on the
front and lights and all that kind of wizard canopy or him.
Nah, if you only knew someone And yeah I don't like driving it, it's horrible, it's too big clunky and then I guess my next song would eventually be the M3 just everything about it.
I don't know. I would say no.
Look, I got used to the smj. That was fine.
It was easy to use. You just drive it like it's a
manual. So Take your foot off the
accelerator, change gear back on it.
Again, it's fine. It's nice and smooth.
It's just something you adjust to, but it's just all the little things. I think just started to get to
me with it. Just know how to just a card
have. So many things going wrong with
just ridiculous, especially Electronics, agent.
I agree with them. What if it said last week my
mom's off the road, but this is an issue now, like, if someone shoots another And it's not easy to fix like you would on your own. Because everything had to do
that to plug stupid computer in, you know, I couldn't you do as well. Yeah.
And I couldn't just use the computer system that I had on my laptop to really work it properly.
You have to have their systems and stuff or, you know, a good deal of the deal. Specializes in BMWs.
How to use the computers properly and plug it in.
I could just do Basics and maybe read an error.
If that, but, you know, they could actually go back and check errors that have, you know, been fixed themselves, and you can see what's going on and heaps more detail that I wish I could have got the couldn't and, you know, and I could actually get that detail that really good detail of voltages is going on and all the temps from R32 GTR with their old before OBD2 s that I had plugged in. Then I got way more data than I
could from a newer car with OBD2.
To just because they lock and block everything.
So, that's a bit of a like, yeah, we're going to scan for mine, so I know exactly what you're saying.
But when my engine went and like, where the transmission out, the reprogram, the SMG, pumped understand what was going on. You need a plug it into the
computer. And then it's, you go to always
it, plug it in. And then that allows you to use
a specific System to actually make understand that it's working again. And as I said, we had to get
these big unit there's like 600 bucks in order just to do that.
So I hear what you're saying and yeah, ik would have been good when it was brand new and stuff, but I don't think they really thought it through with that kind of stuff.
I guess my other little picky thing.
If we're still going on things are kind of let you down a bit was probably the 32, gdr. The gearbox, the gearing's, I
know I mentioned it before, but very long earrings, just doesn't really help. I bet if it was modified and
beefed up a bit, the gearing was would be fine but the one I had was pretty much stock form and everything like that.
And it was, it was horrible to drive and I was a useless, the same thing if you actually watches video where he puts the 34 up against at 32 is The only way to actually make it better is he had to get I think was the box out of the 34 yeah you can 32 I think you can now but a time you could buy full kits where you could just get the 34 gdr gearbox and will come with the tail shaft and everything. You can actually just go bang
and straight into 32, Andrew Hawkins from motive and that he did that with his and change, the diff settings and all that.
And it just brought the car alive.
I mean does it he doesn't have that hooked up anymore is consequential. And everything like that but
before he did, there should be a YouTube video out there.
If you're doing it and it just made us so much better and staying on Boost made it more lively for me would be the E.
Laser the laser no never disappoints.
Because what it is, it's a glorified.
That's what makes it worse. Is Brothers one but your friend
next to you there to buy a glorified taxi, just I didn't give it something. I did that all on his own
accord, it's because of you too much.
This is why I can say this stuff for Me would be when I drove Ed's E36 M3. The one you had that time
Edward. Oh, Matty.
Come on. Yeah, I got lucky thrown away
car. That drove.
Well, I don't like the way I look, but the pill boxes are like, you can always too narrow. I'm effect.
Yeah, Prince liked it. He drove it.
He liked it. Alex drove it.
He liked it. Maybe they're just being nice.
Yeah. Hey, baby.
No, it was nicer actually. Yeah.
The one thing I think it was very good to draw.
Yeah. I really enjoyed driving the
130. I thought that was, I thought
that was all on board with the 130, they're on board with that.
Hey question. He said free was that the three
point two of the three later? Great point, two liter 1996,
aluminium door update, so s54 be 32, hmm.
Yeah, it's the real blue with the dove gray leather, baby.
You lost me of gray level in a factory manual but there's a lot of that. Understand you go to all the
lengths to get lever and you get great.
Yeah, look. The gray looks really wanted to
get rid of the gray, makes it look like you have quad seats.
It makes your cheap. It look nice with the gray and
the M stripe colors on it. Yeah, well my gran getting those
front seats reupholstered. So yeah.
Cook for me, I guess. Because like I do better 328.
I didn't actually quite like the 328, but the, the answer I just felt. I was like, it's not really
forty thousand dollars worth more than a 328 in my, in my humble opinion, but what do I do?
I'm just, I'm just a Min when we bought that car.
It had it, Eisenman exhaust on it which was absolutely phenomenal because it was reasonably quiet around just public around. But when you get it working, oh
my God, it screamed it. Was amazing.
We had a fun night where we took it out to Danny long back on the I was just, I was really showing me showing that an omen of mystery and it was good anyway. But then we put the factory
exhaust back on it, like this stock exhaust to sell it.
Why? Because Tommy my mate here, only
with me. He did the eyes and then exhaust
he wanted for his other E36 M3 that he's got.
And it wasn't legal. So we would have had roadworthy
anyway and it was like, let's put this car back to stock.
They are lighter than the 846. Is a the yeah.
I'm sorry. I would have been even more fun
around the track. It was a funny kind of drive but
the 130 was probably more user-friendly.
The M3 was a little more like a, I don't know.
You need to actually control the car.
Hmm. Not that the Tronics control the
car. Yeah, that's what would have
been different? Having a go on the tracking boat
the yeah, I think. That could have really shown.
It's true colors. Yes, when they're driving that
it's a good car are. I'm not I wasn't saying that I
wasn't a good car. I'm just saying that I didn't
enjoy driving at it but that's what the question was.
Hmm, what were you guys? I get Eliza, did you have that?
Hi. Did you have like high
expectations? I think I did.
I do because everyone talks about M3s with such Vigor and respect. And I get why I like the E30 is
a legend. These are the six seven.
You know, especially with the 32 and Yen, the Vanoss, and the manual. And me, and all that extra Jazz.
It was apparently, like, you know, like it's like, it was God's Gift her to motoring. I just felt.
I just felt so long. I was like, ah, like really.
That's it like in and it just didn't it, it did wasn't as nice to drive. As my threat was my friends, 323
28 manual convertible and and that was a nice.
I just feel like a nice kind of grown man and I'm thinking of is the grammar that you're thinking of that car and likely I'm probably started daily driving that again.
Good. Could you do this you'll on the
original engine? Yeah, I don't know how
considering the person that my God but that that yeah, it drives it drove nice and I guess I was feeling like the M3 should have given me some give me a feeling like it did and it just didn't so much. Well, that's not bang on about
it. All right, you wanted the
answer. But it's not going to roll over
there are saying it's been a rough night.
He's got a new haircut. You hippie.
That's like that's like 2001 Rob.
Yeah. Bring back the thousands baby.
Yeah, he's back out now. He's got a he's got a legitimate
car question and I'll phrase it. If I may go, if I may because
you guys know, don't bring it up, it not go for going to bring it out. You bring it up here because I'm
not the car guru Central. Yeah, let's do it.
Anyway, you're in a sex by side from for me.
To me about a week ago I'm thinking about going a second car. Just for me to get around and go
to client meetings Etc. Sending is like a Libby or
Mazda6. I said, yeah, they're all good.
But just, you know, the last few days it's been another car that's called his attention to that and I thought we'll see what the we see what the gang thinks.
You know it's a Subaru WRX secondhand.
Like maybe 2015 2016 is model. You already got our I'm on
board. Yeah I know Ellen's our blood
and they any good you knows everything.
And with those, you know, what are you?
Are you going? Maybe a few going to make
manual. I think it'd have to be manual,
but I did notice there's an automatic option.
He couldn't get it together manual.
You could give me. So don't do.
Like if you're gonna do it. Absolutely.
Don't do it with the manual because that is a CVT miserable box of misery. I do with the order.
You mean your dad? Yeah, you will get.
Did you order with the city taking those?
Yeah, the man you said manual. So we like those any other
comments on those? I'm done.
I want one of those ask dr. Alan, I don't know what the
second Market spare. Come on Doc.
I'm taking the market. It's crazy if you're in for the
boxer. Rumble.
The was at the VA generation. Yep.
They started using the fa20 engine and that's all box are.
But the way they routed the headers, And no longer makes a rumble. So if you want the rumble you
kind of have to go out of the previous generation or the STI.
As long as you're not off the rumble then it's fine.
What year did that come in? I think that's 2014 onwards.
Are you okay? So you're going to go to client
meetings. Oh that you know it's okay to be
a bit quieter. That is the throb of two liter
boxer which ever around the world Heralds the arrival of an idiot represent right now it's not me if you don't have the rumble, does not as much point but at the same time, I understand as I said it's a client meeting.
So maybe you don't want to be, you know, I know you need to, you're going to rock it up. It's gonna have like the the
full belly get on it. It's going to be dirty and onto
step as well. What's gonna happen is you're
gonna have to Gonna have to punish you, because, because what they're gonna do is they're going to be like this.
This guys are this guy's a good time.
He knows how to party so you know exactly.
You did not hide your hand brake as well.
No, I honestly, I think, I think it w is provided.
You get it in the manual. Do not go.
Any. Let's see me to advise solid
advice. Again, Rumble aside.
You can still have a great time with direct, like just driving around. It's the kind of car that you
can drive with a bit of fun everywhere.
Yeah. So I definitely can't get one
that if I had it. My way, I'd probably go for like
a later model. The previous generation that
works just because you end up, you know, having the DJ engine instead, which I'm more fond of. But you know, I wouldn't turn my
nose that, you know, one of the kind of previous generation.
And you know what about, what about K is, what do you have to look out for for with case like his head gaskets head gasket?
That's the gasket. Well, again, the FAA has been
quite Bit better. About as far as I know 20 30 40
I've got more than the ones in that range.
Yeah, yeah. You know, I never X at this
point, still in my I guess household of salts that's that 300,000 times case. No head gasket issues.
So you know I don't believe you, there is a legend sir Well Service trick. I mean the clutch you know
people can be hard on clutches in them I suppose but that's a bad either. Will service directs his is
okay. The pretty good.
Yeah, I would, I would recommend them.
Yeah. Do you hear how, if you have
something again, they can drive a bit of fun and kind of that around town. I think that's it's about cargo
with all that sort of thing. Done.
Deal is find one of those. Not exactly, like, I'm gonna
love settled. I'll tell you the daddy coming.
Thomas is just coming on the screen.
What the hell. Because the Falcon doesn't move.
You're funny Adrian, you can hop in the front seat of the amount.
We had. As I said I've got it at last
last question for tonight is it's by Brett spine, your opinion on fake wheels. Are should people put them on or
should they not what? I mean.
Represent, make wheels. So what was that?
What do you mean? Fake Wheels?
What exactly. Are we talking like something
that you're making to look exactly like.
Like the other group to buy a real replicas of the real things, okay? So rather than a chicken you
instead of BBS, rims, they're fake teeth or - Luke's Porsche wheel of a fake Fuchs Porsche wheel.
Yeah, correct, yeah. So well fine, it's Bailey will.
Yeah. Yeah, the local tire shop.
I mean, it depends a bit, I mean, I like, oh, gee, you know, there's no question. I like, oh, gee But if it was a
money thing and it was it was really worth it, you know, about the Volks and all those sort of things like they're people that would people go out and decide. I'm going to put these wheels on
my car repairs like 5,000. My salute, maybe they got the
table, I personally don't see much wrong with it.
Purely the original Yeah, correct.
Yeah, you know, like, yeah, like I do and it's not about like, I mean, sorry, it is about affordability.
Like, there's some sets of wheels are like four grand, five grand, six grand and I'm just, I'm just like, I'm like, that's like a you could buy for Ford lasers for that price, you know, like you. I'm just like, you know, at the
end of the day, if you, if you can buy Do what you want and it can find can afford put it on. There's nothing, there's nothing
wrong with that. Like, I suppose you're right,
you're right, you're not trying to pass them off as reels, but but having so having said that though, David as you're saying it am not OG, you can get replica OG Wheels like wheels and why do people have put them on?
You just with those more often than not, they're not well, put together and like, they crack easy.
And I've heard, I've heard of issues issues with those eat, but for example, like, I've had a set of row, two grids of my van my Forrester, And they are in, my sister's got a Russian to death, they are, but they're there.
They but you know what? They've been through the rear of
the car, 456, almost 60,000 cases now and they've been solid and they haven't cracked. I haven't had any issues and a
lot of car before I could have gotten second hand.
And, you know what, though? Great aggro will provided the,
you can get something decent for what you can get and say.
No, they're not genuine, you know, t37 ourselves or what have you, you know. I'm not cool with it.
What about you? Not like buying a set of wheels,
I cost you about, you know, 1215 price of the curb.
Yeah it's okay. For as again you're buying a set
of wheels. I cost you six thousand dollars.
I think most people would say you've got your priorities wrong. Yeah.
I was actually just about to bring that up.
It depends on the car goes on. If you have a car that's, you
know, it's a show car that you're not driving every day.
It's like a weekend kind of thing then.
Yeah, if it's worth. That Thirty forty thousand
dollars plus, then give spend the money, put the right wheels on it, because it will finish off the car.
But if you're putting it on your daily driver, no, it's not really worth it at that point. He threw, you gonna say the same
thing. Well, I was going to ask you
though, which would you rather curve which would set of wheels.
Would you rather curb? Would you rather curve the rotor
grids? Or would you rather curb the
detect 37's is all day? But in saying that what What
will am I putting on my NSX? You know what I mean?
Yeah, I don't much. Rather like a promise said of
well-built Wheels if I've got a car like that because it's not a car, I'm driving daily. It's a car on my drive on a
weekend, maybe once a month or something like that.
So it's Horses for courses. You know what I mean?
What drunk driving you doing with it?
Yeah I'm not I'm not going to try and smash your set of BBS wheels at a KFC drive-through in anything that like note column.
Okay, I love you. The best car in the world, I
honestly not fussed. If you like those pair of
Wheels, then Chuck them on. Go for it.
We said okay, whatever. Whatever makes you happy the
others know what it is. You see people when they're
sellin road is now they're like genuine rotors.
Is it really repulsive? David.
And you know what they look? They look fine.
And you know I've got no issue with that like because jr.
I want to know is are ridiculously expensive, you know? And yeah it's either side this
discussion with someone a while ago, he bought a set of wheels that were worth more than the car.
He put them on and it is like four and a half thousand dollar set of wheels. He bought for three and a half
thousand dollar car and I might look cool and everything, but I was just thought I was like, is it?
Is it really worth it? Like it and and yeah like yeah
people like where he's putting squid genuine is but genuine you know genuine t37 on the car but I'm and I'm like it's easy money and I get it but I'm just like you know it's like is that it was there a need for that? Like and I my question is is
anyone going to get up close to that?
Can't be like huh? Genuine teeth isn't.
Well they're just going to assume for far away.
That they're probably like rotors or something.
She can probably supportive in the target.
Doesn't it correct? Yeah, absolutely.
Yeah, absolutely. And it's if it's the kite like
it because it was his daily driver as well.
And he sold the cape with the original wheels back on and saw the wheels. But then, he only saw the rules
for like less than half of what he, but he bought it from brand-new because the other, the obviously there was secondhand, but also they're like with the wheels on that stud pattern and that's eyes, weren't wouldn't be the like a demand that he would expect either given if there were more common, I guess.
Yeah, five years. That kind of thing.
Yeah, so there were they were we Sighs.
They weren't like the most common size either.
Sorry. We would.
They want an easy sell, but I like, it's like I'm cool with some cool with the fake Wheels. I'll always have been like I
did, it's that does not bother me at all.
As long as you're not ripping them as, you know, whatever else, right? Because as I was just saying
that these are genuine rotors you you t37 Style Style.
Yeah, Style. Bobby said that they're like
people badmouth road is, but I think they're actually good quality wheels and the occupants of the ripoffs of them now.
Has on cheap anymore. They're not cheap and saying,
hey Ichi tsuchiya had he was rapping rotors for a long time and he had like rotor on his on his on his own.
He's racing suit and everything. He was a he was a realist Sirota
sponsor. So yeah, I mean, like it's just
bought what you can afford, you know, you don't need to prove anything. I mean, as we know, we're Eels
maketh, the car as we've said on this show many a time.
However, just just bar where you can, where you can afford and what you're comfortable with. And yeah, I think I'm a rocket
in the, a, you were dark agents. Obviously fake ones like that.
I just, I think it's time for the quiz.
There's a quiz laughs, anyway, my notepad out now, I wrote I wrote this quiz, I had started, I just finished it off.
Bad talking says Cody Heath and I get double points in its quiz and that's because why? Because you all the rest of your
got two people on the same Mike. Uh-huh.
When it comes to my brain, I'm sorry is separate play is though. And I had my brain melted
watching Fast and Furious yesterday so that would strike back, wasn't it? No it was amazing.
Yes. Spoilers I always put was the
Amazing. They're all bad, they're all
terrible. But if you're in for in it, when
you're already in that kind of system, you know.
You're what you're expecting. Look Away.
You can't look away. I was about to walk out what
because dead people became alive again.
Look at that. Outdo themselves.
You know, I actually I thoroughly enjoyed I thought it was a good time and because I've already spoken Senor Mac with apartment. Ready for part 3.
They're going to reanimate the porker, he's coming for it now.
Actually Pathways called Fast XXX and brother named Xander cage. Family gets bigger, this is the
colorful car quiz. You know, the rules ten
questions, plus some moves All the glass is correct.
I was in the background for those listening, in many had what appeared to be a candle. I think of it, I did can't
possibly go wrong and a bootleg copy of Starry Night.
All right, let's get into the questions.
We have to get back to Scotty style very, very soon.
Question one, the email Falcon GT made how much kilowatts of power. No, Ellen. 210. 210 is
incorrect. Okay, I'll give it to you.
I'll put to 10 for now. Ed 240, 240, sleep and hang on a
second. Let me put in here, Scotty 190
191 - a scary Beast. 185 185 says Heath Adrian.
Adrian 180 180 says Adrian, Who was he?
Alexa LGT, which is Lovely, isn't it?
It was a five-letter Windsor V8. Correct, pretty slow. 174 175
says Tyrone. Even more embarrassing to the
whole 2016 and last two guesses, going to rob.
Well, what are you going 155? Well,
Like -5. Yeah it was I thought it was on
this list all in the factory. That's why.
Yeah, it says the partnership but it was actually 150-question to move on. Thank you very much.
Question to how you know, will enhance our road-going version of its Envision? 74 concept on a day.
They will call the what? A Ed.
I end. I end a incorrect.
Alum Vision day, Vision day is also incorrect.
Yeah. Hey, hey I am day.
I think he and I vision and day and day, but I said in day Carson are you may end of days and the days.
Thorin. Anybody else want to jump in
trouble with the answers? Yes, JD.
Alright, you can answer my phone.

It is called Sunday, Sunday, Sunday.
And at that's what exactly that's done.
From The Fast and Furious movie number for AJ Adrian.
I know this one, huh, but I can't remember it.
Now, it's sold for how much in Australian dollars.
Our figured American was like to point.
Something is next in line? I'll mix a lot of hate you
closer to I guess. Was it will drain.
Will do it closest to. I'm happy for that six or
something like that. That's incorrect.
But I'll put 3 plus 6 e. All right.
Well what uses 1.41 Point forces he was he is there one point for
yep. Anyone else what year was this?
This year it just recently sold. Yeah.
So exchange rate is 1.3? Yeah, all right.
This is a 2.1, 2.1 million says Alum, okay 1.8 and goes to
poison destroy those and and it's got to be said, 1.8 1.8.
Yep, I'm .6. 1.6 says it. Yep. 1.5 1.5 says, Renault Rob.
David David and toner. Got to get still the 2.9 1.9.
Says David and 2.4 says Tyrone, the answer is 1.75 million
dollars. So that means it's Scotty gets
the chocolates there. When I'm sorry.
Fire too expensive. I've got a responsibility.
We agree with you. Scotty, I completely agree.
Question. So, bonus question.
What color was it? Alan got in there.
First blue. It was blue element of those.
Actual color based on these two, guess question, for what was the first four wheel drive locally engineered by Ford Australia in Australia, David? That would be wasn't.
That the x w Ute. I'll give it to you.
It was the xyu. I'll give it to you.
It was the it was the XY 4 wheel drive you like.
I'll pay that. Yeah I'll pay that small check.
Scotty on one David to Alum, one Heath on .54.
How you one day and the rest of you guys get the score question.
5 tve stood for what T the Hate it.
Take food vehicle, engineering, because engineering is absolutely corrected with bought a mooc mostly done.
That was. Well that was well done.
Question 6. General Motors will cease
production of what performance-based car next year.
Mandarin Adrian. Is it the camera?
The Camaro is absolutely correct idea.
And they are. They are stopping it, which is
a, which is a bit weird because like, I must Taste of those really well. So I don't know why they're
stopping it but because they can't get into the right hand drive markets, shaping up, okay? They make the Mustangs in right
hand drive and they still convert the Camaro's directed those studies through. Well I just realized my
autocorrect said Camaro to Cameron but anyway that's a yeah. I want to know who you're
talking to. Yeah, I know it's high.
Chemicals question 7. The Lexus LC 500 has an engine
size in in liter capacity of what hey Ed LC 500.
Five point four layers by .4 is incorrect.
Alum was going to find leaders. It's a 5-liter, it is a 5-liter
V8, correctamundo Christian 8, Akio toyoda, his personal car is a Toyota Century that has been fueled by who?
Hey, David TRD, a clumsy ID, so, gr gr, gr.
That's what I was. So you know what?
Give you point five Scotty? Because he kind of he kind of
put I was gonna say that too. Yeah.
Awesome. 9 these bins spin.
How much designing the baby Ben's w201 chassis.
Hey Ed 30 million, 30 million. I'll put all the I think it was
more from. It was me, it was more, but I'm
too. So I guess what do you say?
30 years to 30 million said, I want to re guests are.
That's you getting, that's all you get.
Are getting up and good. Alan I said 46 million, 46
million says Alum. Okay. 55 55 says, David's 50/50
says mr. Tyronne on The Price is Right,
right arrow. What are you saying - yeah?
What he's saying, whatever? What are we up to?
How many millions? You see 565 for the baby bins?
65 for the baby. Benzes Runner Rob.
So we still got Adrian Heath and Scotty get to guess mine billion one player. 1 billion says like, to live dangerously mr.
Barnett And lastly this is is Adrian 85 million, why not?
Say he's rather, isn't it? He's mean it appears to you is
then you used to the limits to what I can't believe I'm saying this, but closest to her was Heath at 700 million dollars Ali. So it's still anybody's game is
your name is Tyrone. Pushing 10.
A few months ago, a lady was caught driving a car.
That was missing the whole front end of her car.
What type of car was it? A is Holden Cruze.
It wasn't a Holden Cruze. Hey, hey, this is an Australia.
Is this was like a month ago, like, a couple months ago, it was like she got she got close all over the news driving this car with the whole friend in missing.
Hey, I had a Camry berdych. Every is a good guess, but
incorrect. David David wasn't accept a
Hyundai Excel. It was not an Excel in, correct.
Yes, though it has been a roller here, sir.
Scott Scott. Scott in there.
What was it a Corolla? It wasn't a Corolla history.
I'll go with Kia. Cerato que sera, do is
incorrect. Thank you.
It's okay, but it's related to the program.
Okay? I'll give you another clue.
Just to be a human do. Yes.
In our third apparel. Isn't I thought it is a Hyundai.
It was a Toyota Palisade. Hmm.
Really the fuck was that shit? Excuse for driving without a
front end on it. Excuse but drop it.
Would she say what did she say? She ought to look that up, hang
on I'm gonna I'm gonna I'm gonna look up the story.
You don't have the best part, there's something I can help you with officer. Yeah he's ready for my.
So I'll share, I'll share the, I'll share my screen before we before we get to tonight's. Winner is literally has no has
no side side guards has nothing nothing.
Nothing's wrong. Check this out.
So I want to show you guys the early delivery.
Yeah, really? Yeah?
Really there it is. It happened in Victoria because
of course, it did. The student, they take it away
reduction for without a windshield rear window, any of the cars typical friend to be different.
So so so she was a 41 year old woman made it enough to get our hands on a brand new Palisade. So not a basically, this is
this. What the colors look at the
back. There's like, there's like she
couldn't help. So, basically, yeah, I'm just
trying to find the reason why so the payment Basically, everything was completely exposed what you got.
No fun number place. That's for sure the profitable
again. So she's a bright woman that her
daughter had already issued with a defect.
Notice replace three days earlier, what is this?
So, she was fine. Three days are over the defect
nervous. Energy kept driving it.
She was caught holding arm. So that is happening.
Interesting story for you. Don't tip.
So those attempts did I say Pride, anyway.
So let's get the score checkup. So we've got equal leaders are
robbing the lowest we've lost me Jeff.
It's is. So the score of Alum on to David
onto is a tie. Tie for first place.
So we have to have a tiebreaker question that David.
I think you're under a Dave's sort of that with let's come up with a tiebreaker. How much did he sell it for?
Yeah, I remember the question 1.6. 1.6 is alum and David were
two beautiful. Now, with less than that.
Our economic David, half a mil. Yeah, okay.
Well, David, you are closer, it was eight hundred thousand dollars. So,
All right, gentlemen, what I think?

Podcast platforms and on YouTube to for some unknown reason.
Scotty's also says his golf tips, whoa, golf tip is awake when hitting your driver, you want to hit up on it.
So at the end of your swing compared to with an iron where you want to hit down and compress the ball.
So when you're lining up, have it up very close to your front heel? Then in the middle and get that
shoulder, dip it back. And you should be smacking them
up a lot higher than hitting down on them where you'll just stuff it up Billy. So yeah, there's a tip but you
