Heavy duty diesels are powerful diesel engines used in big trucks and buses. They can carry heavy loads and are built to last longer under tough conditions.
The Nissan Rogue is a small SUV that is great for families because it has a lot of space inside. It's also good on gas, which means you won't have to spend too much money filling it up.
The emergency brake is a special brake that you use to keep your car from rolling when it's parked. It's important to use it, even if your car has an automatic transmission, to make sure it stays in place.
Rear disc brakes are a part of a car's braking system that help stop the vehicle. They work better than older types of brakes and are commonly used in newer cars.
The Dodge Ram is a big truck that can carry heavy loads and is often used for work or towing. The 2010 version has a powerful engine, but it might have some problems that you should look out for.
The Porsche Cayman is a small sports car that is designed to be fun to drive. It's known for being very good at handling curves and going fast, making it a favorite among car enthusiasts.

An automatic transmission is a system in a car that changes gears by itself, so the driver doesn't have to do it manually. This makes driving easier, especially in traffic.
Rear brakes are the brakes found at the back of a car. They help stop the car along with the front brakes, and it's important to take care of them to ensure safe driving.
Front brakes are the brakes located at the front of the car. They help stop the car and are usually more important than the rear brakes for stopping power.
Braking balance is how much stopping power each wheel gets when you brake. Usually, the front wheels do most of the stopping because the car leans forward when you brake hard.
Brake pads are the parts that help your car stop when you press the brake pedal. They squeeze against the wheels to create friction, which slows the car down.
Calipers are parts of the brake system that hold the brake pads and push them against the wheels when you brake. They help your car slow down or stop safely.
Brake services are maintenance work done on your car's brakes to keep them in good shape. This can include changing worn-out parts and making sure everything is working properly.
Brake inspections are checks done to see if your car's brakes are working well. It's important to make sure everything is safe and functioning properly so you can stop your car when you need to.
A classic vintage car is an older car that many people find valuable because of its history and design. These cars can actually become worth more money as time goes on, unlike new cars that usually lose value.

this morning and including us in your day.
Make it a great day today.
Happy healthy motoring from all of us at the Car Connection Workshop.
Here's what we got going on.
Everything we talk about, whether it's here on our YouTube, here on our podcast or on
our YouTube channel, every single thing we talk about lives at our website.
It's the biggest drawer in our toolbox at carconnectionbusinessnetwork.com at CCBUS
and SAMNET.com is the short version so you can find us there.
So when you get to our homepage, you'll see all the logos for all our program sponsors
and recommended businesses, click on any one of those you can open, get the profile page
and directly connect with them and check them out.
Top right hand corner, you'll see all the platforms that Car Connection is involved with.
because I hope you understand where I'm coming from.
Cars aren't getting any cheaper.
You're paying $60,000 plus dollars
for a piece of sheet metal and rubber.
Tell you what, I'll take a classic vintage car
that's increasing in value any day
over anything that's on the market right now.
There's nothing you could give me
for free that I would want out there.
Not one.
Because you know what they are?
They're throw away.
They're all throw away.
That's what they want you to do.
So if you understand that a little bit more,
you know what?
You're going to save money.
Keep that sucker going as long as you can
and get to the $600,000 kilometer club.
And guess what?
You will have put a lot of money in your wallet.
Instead of throwing it to the wind,
whereas my professor would say,
just take that big wad of cash, go to the bathroom,
keep throwing it in and flush, flush, flush, flush
till it's all gone.
Because that's what you're doing with your life.
You're throwing it away.
That's what your most of you,
a majority of you that I see driving out there.
You are throwing away your hard-earned cash.
You're throwing away what you're trading your time for
and that is money.
Trading time for money.
That's what we've done.
And you do it for 35, 40 years.
How can you save money?
That's why I'm here.
I'm here for those that are going to go, I'm ready.
When the student is ready, the teacher will appear.
That's how it works.
It's that simple.
So if I can't get you to believe that the rear brakes
do a lot of work for you to keep balance braking
on all four corners of your vehicle,
takes the weight off the brakes on the front
so you're not heating them up,
burning them out prematurely and getting shaken brake.
And once that happens, you're into money.
It's pads, it's rotors and it could be calipers as well
as well another time.
Again, I got to do calipers again.
Yeah, you've overheated them.
They're burnt and we can smell it.
You can, as soon as you pull the wheel off,
you can smell it, burnt brake.
I don't even like that with barbecue sauce.
In the rear brakes, on the three particular vehicles
that I've been talking about,
that we recorded, video recorded for our YouTube channel,
there was nothing salvageable on any of it all the way around.
All four corners of the vehicle, there was nothing left.
Nothing left.
So I was asked by all the people who owned those vehicles,
what can I do?
You need to do a full brake inspection.
Now here's where the rubber meets the road.
A full brake inspection, wheels off, not a peekaboo,
every, for you folks that drive like I just explained,
you need a brake inspection and a service every four months.
That's not going to be $1,000.
It's not even going to be $400.
But an hour's labor on the front,
but an hour's labor on the back, money in the bank.
To get those brakes, keep them solid,
keep everything working, using the parking brake
every time you park the vehicle, every time.
Oh, I'm just running into every time.
I'm just getting a, every time.
You can follow me all day, every day, and you'll see.
You'll see every single time,
before I even take my seatbelt off, the parking brake is on.
Whatever vehicle I'm using, parking brake is on.
And today you could walk the parking lot here
at the car connection workshop.
Every vehicle that's sitting parked right now
that's around the building, handbrake is on.
Park brake is on, period.
That's how you do it.
That's how you do it, period.
So we're going to do one more segment for this.
Brake systems review.
We're going to do a full review.
I'm going to talk about all the components
and give you a good idea of what that costs to do that job.
What it costs.
And I'm going to get, I'll use the service and repair times
and I'll look up the parts just on an average vehicle out there
and tell you what that costs to do a four-wheel disc brake job,
including the emergency brake.
Because if the emergency brake system is not working on the rear,
there's no sense in doing brakes at all back there
because it won't function, 100%, period, just won't.
In many cases, you can't even take it apart
and put it back together without having all the pieces working.
You just, you can't, it's not possible, not possible.
We'll do that as a follow-up.
Brake systems, we'll call it brake systems follow-up
and review and cover parts, labor, tax, all in, what that looks like.
So that you can, I want you to really get a good feel about the money.
And that's where I really like the challenge
from the certified financial planners is to stop using your debit card,
your credit card, and pay cash for everything.
Take out window all of it for a month.
Watch your mindset change about money.
It's crazy, but it works.
Go to the grocery store.
You unload those bills and you pay for your groceries.
No debit card, no credit card, period.
Do it for a month.
Your mindset about money and what I said about trading time for money
will be a huge reality check.
So that's where I thought, best way to do a really good follow-up
on brake systems and how to know when you're due for service
is to get you to hear the cash it's going to take to fix it.
Parts, labor, and tax.
So that's coming up next.
We're going to unpack that so that you really know what that, oh, honey,
you don't have to use the emergency brake, parking brake.
The car's an automatic.
Anyhow, that's the way that works.
So everything we talk about here lives at our website at
carconnectionbusinessnetwork.com.
It's the biggest drawer in our toolbox that we can connect with you.
You can connect with us.
All the logos are there for our program partners and sponsors
that keep us alive here on iHeartRadio and all the podcast platforms.
Our YouTube channel going, Facebook, Instagram,
Stevensvilleontheweb.ca, just click on the Businesses tab and our merch store.
So anytime you buy some merch, you know you're helping someone
who is suffering with an addiction somewhere, somehow, some age group,
whatever that may be, you're helping them to get the help they need to brake,
pass that addiction, and get a new life.
So till tomorrow morning for another edition of the Motor Mouth Morning Drive.
Thanks for stopping by.
Thanks for having me.
And I hope I didn't beat up on you too hard.
I don't want to apologize for that because if you want to save money,
you've got to get tough.
If you want to make it happener, then the only way you're going to make it happener
is by listening and doing.
And remember, the do does and the did is done.
Happy motoring and peace, patience, and kindness.
And we'll see you in the next one.
Keep it under 100 with that coffee on.
We're going to come to your house.
