00:03
Welcome to the CarPro Show, where you get straight talk and honest answers about everything
00:07
automotive every week from Jerry Reynolds the CarPro.
00:11
Jerry ran his own dealerships for decades and was a two term chairman of the Ford National
00:17
Todd Chambliss is Jerry's partner.
00:19
He's a great guy, but strangely for a guy on a car show, he has no sense of direction
00:24
So if you see him right now, remind him that he's supposed to be on the air.
00:29
Now hopefully, here they both are on the CarPro Show.
00:33
Thank you so much for joining us.
00:35
This is the CarPro Show's straight talk, honest answers about everything automotive.
00:41
That's what we bring you every week for three solid hours, even if your market doesn't carry
00:47
us for all three hours.
00:49
We're on 66 stations right now, but most only carry us for two hours, but we're going to
00:55
be here until 2pm central time today.
00:59
And if you lose us at any point, go to CarPro.com and click on listen live, or if you want to
01:07
go later in the day and grab all three hours.
01:11
You can do that by going to CarPro.com under the radio tab and you'll find our podcast.
01:17
If you are thinking about making a move, I'm telling everybody right now that we are here.
01:23
It's the end of the month.
01:24
It's the end of the third quarter of 2025.
01:29
And that is a big trigger for automakers.
01:32
They always get judged.
01:34
Their bonuses get paid by the quarter and they put the push on.
01:39
Now when they put the push on, that means incentives.
01:43
And we have seen some real big incentive action just this week.
01:48
So we know the 2026s are going up in price, and I mean big time.
01:55
There's still a lot of 2025s out there.
01:58
If you want a bargain, this is the time.
02:02
I'll always tell you when it's not a good time.
02:04
I'll always tell you when it is a good time.
02:07
This kids is a good time.
02:11
So I don't take mechanical questions.
02:13
But if you want to pick my brain or watch the best car for you, how you should get it?
02:21
Should you buy certified use?
02:23
Should you get new?
02:24
What's going on in the market?
02:26
I'll be happy to help you.
02:28
All you got to do is call thechase.com.
02:31
CarPro hotline in that number is 800-926-7777-800-926-7726.
02:44
The lines will fill up in a minute.
02:47
They fill up really fast.
02:49
So once you hear us go to a break or somebody hangs up, call thechase.com hotline 800-926-7777.
03:02
Fresh back from a week's vacation, Todd Jamblis.
03:07
And just drove in last night and had a week in Florida and with a family and bunch of friends.
03:14
No rain whatsoever.
03:15
Typically in Florida you go and there's like a burst of rain for like 30, 40 minutes.
03:21
Then the sun comes back.
03:22
We had beautiful weather the whole week.
03:24
What a blessing that is.
03:27
Got a lot of rest, unplugged.
03:30
Thank you for the little break.
03:32
Well, I mean, you've been working for a year.
03:37
I think it's next weekend.
03:38
I believe it is next week.
03:39
As a matter of fact.
03:40
That's absolutely fun.
03:41
And next week we're going to be at the Endow's Fort Worth.
03:45
So if you're coming to DFW next week for any reason or you're in DFW now,
03:52
come by and see us.
03:54
We're going to be at the Sandpack Museum.
03:56
And I've got all the information that you could possibly need that came out in yesterday's
04:01
free car pro newsletter.
04:05
And I'll give you the address.
04:07
It's a once a year event where you can see Sandpack,
04:12
who's the biggest Ford dealer in the state of Texas.
04:15
He's got a private collection of hundreds of classic cars.
04:19
And you can see those for free one day a year.
04:23
That's next Saturday.
04:25
So if you're in town, come by and see us.
04:28
It'll be your second remote with me.
04:32
It will be, actually.
04:33
We did the auto show in the auto show.
04:35
And I've been to the museum and took a lot of pictures.
04:39
The Austin Power, the Power's vehicle.
04:46
And there's some vehicles that you'll be amazed.
04:48
This collection is like pretty, pretty unrivaled.
04:50
I mean, it's amazing and it's worth the time out there.
04:53
I'm guessing it's going to be nice weather.
04:55
Going to be lots of stuff going on.
04:56
You know who was the first owner of the Jaguar, right?
05:08
I bought it from New Line Cinema with 200 miles on it.
05:11
How did you get that going?
05:14
And you actually won the auction.
05:17
I bid Sam Pak on it.
05:19
Oh my gosh, I didn't know that.
05:21
So did he come to you and say, hey look.
05:24
He told me at the time, he said,
05:25
if you ever get ready to sell it, let me know first.
05:29
I don't know that I remember that.
05:30
We were good friends.
05:32
It's one of my true stories from a former car dealer
05:35
that are at carbro.com.
05:36
I should probably go check that story out.
05:37
It's called Jaguar.
05:41
That's a, I'll tell you the story about the condition
05:44
this 200 mile car was on when I got it.
05:49
They shot that one scene in the open where
05:53
they're being chased by a helicopter.
05:56
And they slam on the brakes so the helicopter goes by.
05:59
They did that about 50 times.
06:02
There wasn't a round tire on that car.
06:06
They, they slid them square.
06:08
So you probably had a little bit of investment
06:10
just to get it up to stuff.
06:11
And the paint job looked great on camera,
06:14
but it didn't, the Union Jack.
06:16
It didn't look so good in person.
06:18
Let's talk to Mark in Tyler, Texas.
06:21
Mark, welcome to the car pro show.
06:22
What can I do for you?
06:24
Well, thank you for taking my question.
06:27
I've got a question about diminished value.
06:31
I purchased a brand new thing ranch over $70,000.
06:37
Lady decided she's going to turn right from the left lane
06:42
and took out the bed panel on the driver's side of the vehicle
06:48
with about $8,000 worth of damage.
06:53
Yeah, that's a lot of fun.
06:54
Did she have insurance?
06:57
Well, yes, but I went ahead and did uninsured motors
07:00
just because they couldn't get a hold of the driver
07:04
and they have so many weeks or whatever.
07:07
And so anyhow, I just let my insurance company
07:12
do a segregation on it whenever it's finished.
07:16
And they can handle it.
07:17
But the diminished value is something that a buddy of mine
07:21
mentioned and I'd never heard of it.
07:23
And so I went ahead and pulled up Carfax hoping I would
07:28
beat Carfax to showing an accident.
07:32
Well, immediately after an insurance company does a claim,
07:36
I guess they turn it in.
07:37
So I've got a value on from Carfax with 10,400 miles on it.
07:44
And it got away from 60 something thousand,
07:48
62,000 or 64 to 69.
07:52
And this thing had all the bells and whistles,
07:55
as you might imagine.
07:56
Mark, before we run out of time here,
07:58
I want you to know that I've been talking about
08:00
diminished value for over 20 years on the air.
08:04
It's a big issue that a lot of people don't know about.
08:07
If you will go to my website, carpro.com.
08:10
There's a search box at the top, put in diminished value.
08:14
It'll pull up an article that'll tell you everything you need to know.
08:19
What you want in a car versus what you get might take some advice.
08:25
Call the car pro show at 1-800-926-7777.
08:41
What a pretty impressive muscle car is our classic car of the week
08:45
on our Facebook page.
08:47
Go to carpro.com and go to the bottom.
08:49
There is a Facebook link.
08:50
It takes you right to our page.
08:52
And it's good to go and like and follow that too.
08:54
All kinds of good stuff during the week.
08:55
This week's classic car of the week.
08:58
Some folks looks like they're right on target with guessing it.
09:01
There's a little bit of conjecture about the year, however.
09:05
So make your guess right now.
09:06
If you're one of the ones who make a correct guess,
09:09
you're in the running for your very own auto heat shield.
09:12
And after just spending a week in Florida
09:14
and the sun is beating down on you,
09:17
I know that we're not long away from fall and cool brisk weather.
09:21
But right now that comes in handy.
09:22
I'll tell you that.
09:28
The things, the stories that y'all loved the most in yesterday's newsletter.
09:32
The top 10 luxury cars so far this year.
09:35
That was number one on the click list, which surprised me a little bit.
09:40
I wasn't expecting that.
09:42
I've learned something about our newsletter subscribers.
09:47
They like to read about legal things.
09:51
Look at the look at number two and number three most click.
09:54
Number two was the story about some sales managers
09:58
that were charged at an Nissan dealership
10:01
by the Federal Trade Commission.
10:03
Going a little crazy with the add-ons there.
10:05
Yeah, deceptive trades.
10:07
And then I had another legal story about a dealership
10:12
that settled with a veteran.
10:16
The veteran worked there.
10:18
He had a emotional support dog.
10:22
And they wouldn't let him bring the dog to work.
10:26
And rightly so, he sued.
10:30
And then the Hyundai immigration case where Hyundai had nothing to do with it
10:35
other than it was their building,
10:37
but they were building a site in Georgia and had hundreds of
10:42
Oh, I remember that story.
10:43
Immigrants working there illegally.
10:45
And somehow another ice found out about it and went in and
10:51
Did a little roundup.
10:56
If you're not a newsletter subscriber, you ought to be.
10:59
And you can be by going to carpro.com at the bottom of the page.
11:03
All you got to do is put your email address in there.
11:06
You'll get a confirmation and you can have yesterday's in your inbox tomorrow.
11:13
I mean, it comes right back to you.
11:15
You'll get a new one next Friday.
11:17
I've already got a lot of great stuff lined up for next week.
11:20
I was surprised by that.
11:22
You work all week long.
11:24
I really worked hard this week on it.
11:26
Let's talk to Michael in Houston.
11:30
Welcome to the car pro show.
11:32
Well, thank you, Jerry.
11:34
At first, I wanted to say thank you very much.
11:36
I'm a long time listener and I appreciate the knowledge and information you provide to the
11:42
people like me who has not nothing about knowing nothing about the cars.
11:47
Well, thank you, sir.
11:48
I appreciate those kind words.
11:50
It's important to me.
11:52
You know, when I started this show, it'll be 24 years ago next week.
11:57
And when I started, that was the goal is I need people need a place to get honest answers
12:05
about the auto industry and what goes on in dealerships, et cetera, et cetera.
12:09
That's what I've tried to do now for two dozen decades.
12:13
So what can I help you with?
12:15
Well, I have a question for you.
12:17
I believe I've been listening to you.
12:20
I have 2014 Jeep Cherokee and I was in an accident.
12:28
So his insurance company declined because I didn't file the police report.
12:33
When I called the police, he didn't want to stay.
12:37
Police said, if he gave you the insurance information, you don't have to file the report in Texas.
12:44
So to make it short, I think my insurance is going to total my Jeep.
12:50
I want to find out the best, highest money I can get for my Jeep because they will
12:58
low ball me, give me $2,000 to $3,000.
13:01
I guarantee you they're going to low ball you.
13:03
I see it every day.
13:04
They're going to hit you low and they don't keep up with current trends.
13:08
They don't know like I do from watching the auction every week that use car values or sky high
13:14
So yeah, they're going to, they're going to try to hit you low.
13:18
Here's what you need to do at my website, carpro.com.
13:23
Everybody that might have an insurance question, pay real close attention here.
13:28
I've got an insurance section on my FAQ page.
13:33
One of the articles is about diminished value, which is our first caller today.
13:38
There's an article there on how to deal with an insurance adjuster.
13:43
And I just redid that article for my newsletter.
13:50
It was in yesterday's free newsletter.
13:54
So if you don't want to go to the website, just subscribe to the newsletter.
13:58
You'll get it because I just updated that article for this week's newsletter.
14:03
So there's more information.
14:05
If you've looked at the article before, look again because I edited it this week.
14:11
And I walk you through, Michael, exactly what to do to make sure that you get
14:17
replacement value, not wholesale, not KBB, but replacement.
14:22
It's at carpro.com.
14:23
There's a lot to learn about buying or leasing your next truck or car.
14:27
Jerry Reynolds, the car pro will help you call the car pro show 1-800-926-7777.
14:44
Rebecca in North Hills, California.
14:46
Welcome to the car pro show.
14:52
Hey, Rebecca, are you there?
14:59
Yeah, Rebecca, you're on the air.
15:00
What can I do for you?
15:01
Hi, thanks for taking my call.
15:04
And I really appreciate all the wonderful information that you share with us every week.
15:09
I was calling in because I'm interested in getting a Priya.
15:16
So a couple questions.
15:19
Is a lease or is it feasible to lease the car versus buying it as far as making sure
15:29
I get the best deal on this car?
15:32
Secondly, when it comes to all this hybrid technology,
15:37
what do you think the market might be like in the next five years?
15:41
I think it's going to continue to be good.
15:43
Everybody is transitioning right now to hybrids.
15:48
And some of them are going on to plug in hybrids because they're not quite ready to take the
15:54
plunge into electrics.
15:56
So they kind of pick a plug in hybrid to test the waters.
16:01
But a regular hybrid Priya, Priya was the first hybrid in America, started 27 years ago.
16:10
It is a phenomenal car.
16:13
That car will get you in excess of 50 miles to the gallon on the highway.
16:18
And it does even slightly better than that in town because the hybrid actually is more
16:25
efficient in town than it is on the highway.
16:27
So I think it's great.
16:29
How many miles a year do you drive?
16:33
I drive between 12 and 15,000.
16:38
Then do a 15,000 mile lease, which is the standard term.
16:43
15,000 is what it comes with.
16:46
You can go less or you can go more, but sounds like 15 will work well for you.
16:51
I'd look at a lease for sure.
16:53
The payment's going to be much lower.
16:55
I've got a leasing section at my website on my FAQ page.
17:01
And I've also got some great Toyota dealers there in Southern California.
17:06
So look at the lease three years from now when the lease is up.
17:11
If you want to buy it, buy it.
17:12
If you want to do another lease, do another lease.
17:15
You know, you got a lot of options with a lease and you sound like a good candidate for it.
17:19
Priya is the way to go if you're going hybrid.
17:21
Be that guy, the one who got a great deal on his new car.
17:25
Talk to Jerry Reynolds, the car pro at 1-800-926-7777.
17:42
And welcome back to the car pro show with Jerry Reynolds, the car pro.
17:46
And I'm Todd Chambers, one of the most clicked items in this week's newsletter from Jerry
17:50
has happens to be his review, the 2026 Buick and Vista Sport Touring.
17:57
Apparently it's a nice luxury vehicle that you would expect to pay double
18:01
of what the actual price is.
18:03
So it's that nice inside.
18:05
It's a very nice SUV with a window sticker price of 30 grand.
18:11
And I don't mean 39 grand.
18:13
I mean 30,700 on this one that's super loaded.
18:17
You can get them cheaper.
18:18
And that's the 26, not the 25.
18:20
That's a heck of a deal right there.
18:22
I'm telling you, it was everybody loved that one.
18:25
You know, it's a small SUV, but it's roomy inside.
18:31
And the gas mileage was great.
18:34
Coming up in next week's free weekly newsletter, two very different vehicles,
18:39
the 2025 Mustang GT convertible.
18:47
And you've got it out there ready to go.
18:49
Yeah, I've got it ready.
18:50
I've brought it down for you to see.
18:52
I can't wait to see it.
18:53
On the other end of the spectrum, I had the 2025 Ram 2500 Limited Longhorn
19:01
Crew Cab 4x4 with a Cummins diesel.
19:06
It's a big truck too.
19:10
It's a big old truck.
19:11
Was that a little cumbersome to park?
19:15
I've remarked about that in the review.
19:17
I was surprised how good the turning radius was.
19:20
And this truck has got so dog on many cameras on it.
19:26
It's, it's a joy to drive.
19:28
Probably just about parks itself with all that.
19:30
Well, it will actually.
19:35
Three quarter ton diesel truck.
19:37
It's, it topped out just over 100 grand.
19:42
Well, probably worth it though.
19:44
I would imagine all this stuff.
19:45
You gotta pull something.
19:47
This thing will tow 20,000 pounds.
19:49
In Florida, we saw a lot of Ram trucks actually.
19:54
Well, speaking of newsletter and things that didn't get so many clicks.
20:00
I was waiting for this one.
20:02
What happened to your video this week?
20:03
I guess no one wants to see a video of a guy throwing a folding chair at a passing car.
20:08
I guess that's what's going on.
20:09
I thought it was interesting, but it ranked number eight.
20:12
So just a little farther down.
20:14
Yours may top five though.
20:17
I mean, this is another week where we had a lot of good content.
20:21
And so the videos dropped some.
20:23
Yeah, that's all right.
20:25
Mine came in at number five.
20:28
Amy had her review this week of the Toyota Sienna minivan.
20:34
And I also reviewed the Mustang Mach E in yesterday's newsletter.
20:40
Now, a lot of good stuff there from yesterday.
20:43
If you want to jump on board and become part of the family, we'd love to have you.
20:49
All you got to do is go to carpro.com at the bottom of the page.
20:54
You'll get yesterday's ASAP.
20:56
It'll come right back to your inbox and stay with us every Friday.
21:01
There is so much more we cover in the newsletter than what we have time to cover on air.
21:07
And I've been putting out this newsletter since 2008.
21:11
I know what you like.
21:12
You know, if there's news, I tell you about it.
21:17
Tariff talk every single week.
21:20
We've got great stuff from Kim Commando on the tech side.
21:27
And that's a big issue, especially with the $7,500 federal tax credit going away
21:33
on electric cars, which is coming up a week from this coming Tuesday.
21:39
Can't believe it's going away.
21:43
Welcome to the carpro show.
21:45
How can I help you, sir?
21:47
Oh, thank you, Jerry.
21:48
You've been helping me for 20 years.
21:50
I don't think we've been buying to be heck without running through your information.
21:53
Well, thank you, Rob.
21:57
My wife's the one who turned me on to you, by the way.
22:02
Tell her thank you.
22:05
The situation right now, my wife has a 2019 Subaru Ascent.
22:11
And we need to start pulling something with it, which, you know, I could add a hitch to it,
22:16
but it seems a little small for about $2,500 per pound pull.
22:21
We've been looking at the terrain, which, according to your review,
22:25
sounds like a really nice vehicle.
22:28
But I don't know if there was something else along that line.
22:32
She has some mobility issues, so we need something that's easy to get in and out of as well.
22:38
That one sits low to the ground.
22:47
I've liked the Chevy Equinox.
22:50
I've liked both of those since they came out, and especially for the money.
22:55
When you start looking at what you can get for out there in the open market,
23:03
the terrain stacks up really nice, and it looks good.
23:06
It'll tow 3,500 pounds or so.
23:10
Will that will that do it for you?
23:13
Yeah, yeah, it's not not anything really, really heavy,
23:17
but we do need to pull a little trailer.
23:20
How many miles how many miles on the Subaru?
23:26
You know, that's that'll that'll pull that'll pull what you want to pull to.
23:32
Yeah, so that's where I'm trying to decide in the, you know, and it's paid for.
23:38
So that makes a lot of sense to not have to.
23:41
Well, what I'm looking at, whether the lease or purchase.
23:44
Yeah, what I'm looking at for you is longevity on the Subaru is terrific.
23:51
They're comfortable.
23:53
Yeah, it'll do what you need it to do.
23:55
You got a clear title and you got a low mileage one.
23:59
I mean, if y'all are just ready to trade, that's one thing.
24:04
But if you're trading to, you know, get more towing power, you're not.
24:11
And okay, I don't know, man.
24:14
I would almost I would almost recommend just keeping the Subaru.
24:19
That's what we're that's what we're trying to decide.
24:21
That's kind of where you like I said, I've kind of been going back and forth.
24:26
I mean, it's always fun to get a new toy, but does it make sense?
24:31
Well, financially, I don't think it makes sense.
24:36
But again, you know, yours is six years old now.
24:39
And if y'all are just sick of it, if you're tired of it, that's one thing.
24:44
And that's a good reason to trade.
24:46
That's the reason I trade every time I personally trade.
24:49
Not because I don't.
24:52
I mean, I've traded cars literally with as few as 275 miles after two years.
25:01
But, you know, it was time for something new.
25:04
I get that mentality.
25:06
But if, you know, if you if you're if you're liking the Subaru,
25:10
how good you got a nice rig?
25:14
Okay, that's that helps a whole lot.
25:17
Tell your wife I said hi.
25:21
And thanks for listening, Rob.
25:23
Let me know anytime I can help you.
25:25
I wrote something that was in yesterday's newsletter that
25:33
I've really put a lot of thought into.
25:36
I know we're we're on the air right now all over the country.
25:40
And people have differing views and differing feelings.
25:44
And, you know, unfortunately, our country, I think, is probably more divided today
25:48
than it's been in a long, long time.
25:51
And I wrote a article that was in my closing message of yesterday's newsletter.
25:58
And it was called what I call time to come together time to come together.
26:08
And it was based on the death of Charlie Kirk.
26:13
If you haven't read it, take a minute.
26:15
It's not about Charlie.
26:16
It's about what I think you'd want.
26:43
You know, life seems like there's always a trade off.
26:46
You have the promise of a lower running cost and freedom from gasoline with electric vehicles.
26:53
But one thing you've got to look at when you consider an EV is the declining range of your
26:58
battery power and how many miles you can drive as they age.
27:02
They lose their ability to hold a charge.
27:05
And some other factors can be involved in the life of a battery for an electric vehicle.
27:09
And that's why this week's newsletter, Jerry's got an article in the news section,
27:13
why EV batteries lose power and what to expect.
27:17
You were saying just a minute ago off air that we really don't know exactly the life of these
27:22
things and we don't have a long history being able to gauge how long these batteries are going
27:27
to last for you, really.
27:29
They're so new, you know, we don't know what to expect.
27:33
You know, with hybrids, I can tell you the Prius and any of the Toyotas I'm seeing go well over
27:43
Some as much as 300 before the hybrid battery fails, but the full battery, the full electric
27:49
battery, I don't know.
27:51
I mean, we're just going to have to wait and see.
27:53
They're expensive right now.
27:55
You're going to spend 20 grand if you have to replace one.
27:58
But I'm really pushing a lot of information on you on electrics because a ton of you are
28:06
getting under the wire to get that $7,500 from the government.
28:10
And I'm getting more electric car questions right now.
28:13
People are rushing out next week's newsletter.
28:16
My closing message is about the future of electric vehicles.
28:22
And I'm predicting what's going to happen with those.
28:26
I've got a chase.com hotline line open right now.
28:31
If you want to grab it at 809267777, then we got a Raj in Houston.
28:41
How can I help you, sir?
28:44
My son, my son wants to buy a Honda Sonata all wheel drive.
28:48
We live in Houston, but he's temporarily staying in Kansas City, Missouri for a couple of years.
28:55
So he wants to buy the Honda Sonata there, the one he likes and wants him to be shipped to Texas
29:01
to register and take it back.
29:03
It sounds like a run around for me.
29:09
Yeah, I think he'd be better off just buying it in Texas and letting one of my dealers
29:16
in the Houston area do the registration for him and make sure he gets a good deal.
29:21
He contacted one of the dealers recommended by you in Houston, but none of them had the
29:27
Honda Sonata all wheel drive, and that's what he wants.
29:32
Because of the Houston area, they're probably not going to have all wheel drive too many.
29:37
That's not a big seller in the Sonata.
29:42
But the cost wise, the way the probably is going to be okay because they probably,
29:48
he says they're going to give a deal enough.
29:50
The cost of transportation is not going to be a big deal,
29:53
but it just like feels like too much of work.
29:57
Yeah, and if he buys it there and he wants to register in Texas,
30:02
the dealer he buys it from should be able to do that for him.
30:07
All the dealers today have software that will allow them to register vehicles in other states
30:16
from what they sell.
30:17
So the dealer he buys from should be able to do a Texas registration,
30:23
charge Texas sales tax.
30:25
He's going to have to use a Texas address, which could be yours.
30:34
So do you have any recommendation for a Honda dealership in Kansas City?
30:41
I don't know a soul there.
30:43
But you know, he's just the smart thing to do in cases like that when he's shopping
30:50
is to find two dealers.
30:53
I'd look for the biggest volume dealers and Google search will tell you that.
30:59
And email both and work them against each other online.
31:05
And that way he's not sitting at a dealership getting pressured.
31:09
He's he's got the anonymity of being online and whoever comes up with the best price
31:16
buy from them should be simple and they should be able to register it in Texas.
31:21
If you're not up to the latest incentives when you buy a car, you're just throwing money away.

Call the CarPro Show at 1-800-926-7777.
31:41
Love the happy listeners every single week.
31:44
One of our favorite parts of the show is the happy listener section.
31:47
Well, we talk about the folks who have followed Jerry's advice and gone through his website and
31:52
gone to his dealers and listened to what Jerry recommends.
31:56
Great stories afterwards.
31:58
Alfred went to Round Rock Honda and he says the team there are very professional,
32:03
but it's still welcome.
32:04
They had the car he wanted, the price he was quoted.
32:07
Very pleasant to do business with, experienced there, very enjoyable.
32:12
Internet with the 2026 Honda Civic Sport Hatchback.
32:16
And loves it and talked to Jason Jackson there and Brenda and the other folks.
32:21
So had nothing but glowing reviews for Round Rock Honda.
32:24
And that's in the Austin, Texas area.
32:27
And in Houston, Lone Star Chevrolet and Mike Batches took care of Chip.
32:30
This is very attentive and professional shopping experience.
32:34
Had one issue at closing that was quickly and professionally corrected by the GM,
32:39
Mike Batches, of course.
32:41
And he says he would recommend Lone Star Chevrolet to anybody looking for a brand new
32:46
2025 GMCC or 2500, which is what he got.
32:52
Janet from Los Angeles wrote me about the closing message in yesterday's newsletter
32:58
about Charlie Kirk.
33:00
And she said, kudos for such a well thought out and important message.
33:06
It's the best I've seen on this topic.
33:08
I did not know who Charlie Kirk was until he was killed.
33:12
The little bit I know of his point of view leads to me to believe that he and I were
33:17
probably not aligned.
33:20
And she goes on to say, but what's important is that your message resonated with me.
33:26
I thought, yes, make this young man senseless killing means something more than continued
33:32
conflict, listening more than lecturing and building bridges more than barring them.
33:38
It's up to us to believe in each other.
33:40
That was a line that I wrote.
33:45
We've got another two hours to go.
33:47
So stand by for more of the CarPro Show.
