Does professional idiot. Drive.
After our death. All things cars here.
I'm not join online with mr. Edward bunting mr.
Scotty do Johnson and mr. Rob's a diner.
Holly today, he's all alone. It looks so depressed.
He's got ya. How are you gentlemen?
Very good. How you met looks good.
Happy Easter to you all. Have used to all our listeners.
Hopefully, you guys ate lots of chocolates and food, because I that much food. And now I feel like I've got
like, a bit of a bit of a baby inside of me, but it's okay.
That's what you do on big occasions on like that.
You know, the older, I'm getting the more.
I'm realizing that I actually kind of like family get-togethers like that because you get to eat.
It's like I was like he was like a couple of doing that.
But now I'm like you know what? That's actually nice to see
everybody and and have a A meal together.
Like we like you used to and I don't know, maybe it's just me being a being a child, but I was never.
It was never about that life but kind of a kind of changed over the last. You know, I've softened these
last two years, I think so for this and you were soft anyway Maddie. So, you know, this is you must
be like a marshmallow. Yeah, big time.
Absolutely was really. Yeah, I'm fine.
It does. How are you guys going to?
Anyway, we'll go. We'll go around the screen blue.
Some carp, dates Edward bunting. Updates.
Mmm. I told you about my landsat.
I bought. Yes.
So I haven't really done anything with that.
I just pump up the tires and gave it a vacuum.
So that, yeah, I'll just chip away at the little restoration on that. I've been driving around in MX-5
for a little bit, but I put that away at the, we can put little diesel back and really done any repairs or anything.
The Volkswagen has gone to a nice Emporium that that carries out vehicle auctions. So we'll see what that does
online. They simply the ad just today to
sort of preview so of previewed it and go on yet looks good, make it happen. So yeah, I'll be following that
closely. Other than that, no not really
anything. Car Wise, how boring?
I know. How could you Scotty do updates
with you? Nothing to do with cars but I
guess car models. Mmm.
I've got some cards. Yes, I'm display cabinets and
I've just started to set everything out.
You can see that Scotty behind you as a little bit there, behind me over there, the whole bunch of bits and pieces.
So I've got like the top part inside the cabinet.
Got like every single Hot Wheels Skyline.
That I've got that fills up that part.
The second shelf is got some car models that I've made myself couples. Stickers and a book and then the
third shelf has got all the bits and pieces from like all the cars that I've ever owned. So it's got keys.
It's got emblems. It's got a see spanner key tags,
Nismo shift knob there's an original flare, not that led ones, but the original that's hot.
So I've got that there too. So yeah.
Just just my bits and pieces of everything that's come from.
All my cars in the body's bric-a-brac.
Hmm, pretty much yeah. And other than that, that's all
I've I've done here. Yeah, 31.
What's happening on that? It's still sitting there at the
moment. What does it need to be on the
road now what's left? Okay, I've got to get an auto
electrician to come out and check the headlight nut for me.
Okay so it's not too much. But just waiting for the house
to be finalized installed and that will be up a bit more cash.
Yeah good. And that's next week so nice.
Not your new house. Nah no no old one but we yep.
So yeah that one's sold and will be hand over next week.
Moving Rob updates with you know you got a big update this week War. Yeah.
Picked up my Jimny. Hello almost Kei car.
It's got to be a murder than a normal cake how that?
Yeah. It's you know those little
thing. It's amazing.
How big it feels inside but how small it looks on the outside so I did. Yeah what's wrong?
I like the wheels? Yeah, they will Factory.
Oh so picked it up on Thursday last week.
Harley drove me to the dealership to go and pick it up.
We drop me off the experience this fantastic a penfolds azuki arts in Build a word. Yeah.
Yeah, they're fantastic. They are real no /
what's-his-name Leon or, you know, you know, you probably know. Yeah, yeah.
So here was fantastic. Pedal.
Look around a car. Gave me the run-through with the
car and all that handed over the bank check, everything went fine. You gave me a run through with
the car and all that stuff, pretty basic, and all that sort of stuff. And you know how, you know, all
the switches and functions whatnot.
So anyway, I decided to drive it home, drive home, okay?
Okay, no problems whatsoever. They didn't give me a full tank
of petrol. So, any of you do these days,
they never do. Don't think this for me, it's
pretty rare that the gear car dealerships will do that.
We used to have BMW but most like, lower in dealerships.
I'll give you a quarter, maybe a half if you like.
Yeah, so go have a fish tank anyway.
So drove it home, parked in the garage and pretty much set there for the whole Easter break because as cold wet and miserable wife. Got food poisoning.
I'm not young Friday. So she wasn't well Saturday
Sunday so we didn't really go anywhere.
So car set there until Monday when window got tinted with the two front windows got tempted so I got them what that organized I found it they used to come with rest speakers but they pulled out that option of rear speakers that's only got two front speakers in a door and they papers because apparently real cheap too. Yeah, so it's disappointing for
what is now a 39 thousand dollar car.
Hmm. And you just have a push button
to start with. Stay apparently removed because
of the chip shortage or whatever I'm told.
Yeah, yeah. So you got to put the key in the
ignition switch again to start it.
Now this is real old-school Jiminy yeah real old-school but look great car drives. Well it's quite Supple on a row
so it's not harsh, it doesn't bounce around as much as I thought it would bounce around. So, that's good.
Yeah. So the cars nice and today I
drove it out. Parked underneath the carport.
I'm just looking at it. Okay shit there's a dent in a
bonnet. You Waiting.
Well, I didn't say I didn't say that a dealer so between, I don't know, I don't know. It couldn't have happened
because I drove it straight. I'm pretty much a park in the
garage, went to the workshop, which is no one was, there was locked up and I was there in the workshop and drove home and that was pretty much it where to Carwin and I never said, never seen it. Like I didn't see the did
before, but today I parked underneath in the certain angle and the sun must have just shined through the carport laser-like, just talk Point where you can see the den.
It's only a minor Dent. We there on delivery.
Yeah, it looked. I said they go through it with a
fine-tooth comb, but yeah, they said, look, bring it back and we'll call. You're doing a dead guy.
All right, looking notice that? Yeah, so so basically, they said
yeah. Look, when it didn't go, it
comes comes out to the dealership, you guys just bring it in. I'll give you a call and he'll
fixed it in for you. So they're pretty good about it.
Because, look, we go over the car with a fine-tooth comb.
I said, look, it's really hard to see and you can only see it at certain angles. Could have been missed.
So look he gave me you guys look you know it could have happened.
You know while you had it somewhere, who knows?
I still look like a car, waiting OS and I can't, there's no way it could have been digitally in whilst I had it under my patroller eyes, so I don't know. I really don't know.
But anyway, it's only a little dent and it could be just popped out any way you could did unless the paintless whatever didn't remove it consists of. Yeah.
So that's pretty much it for the Jimny.
I had a lot of trouble. Ooh, Shannon's insurance.
Recently, we've hardly bumper Barney C63 because I went to my nominated repairer. We have to wait for assessors,
to get around to it to even have a look at the quote because it doesn't go through their Preferred Capital smart or one of their preferred repairers. So they just leave it sitting
there for weeks and weeks and weeks.
Yeah. Yeah.
So I sort of jumped up and down and kick up a bit of a stink and they finally they said I in the 19th of April will We'll get around to looking at. That's it.
That's just not good enough. So I've got 10 cars with you.
Be assured with you for the last 15 or 20 years.
Yeah, you know, look, I'm going to look at now going elsewhere.
If you don't look after me and they rang me back, I said, I want to put in a formal complaint.
They call me back and they said, look, we'll see what we can do.
And they assisted on a spot, pretty much.
I said, look, we've approved it because everything's online.
Mercedes is set up with him. The Mercedes repair shop.
It set up with Shannon's online. So they assess everything
online. Anyway.
So anyway, they assess it and said, all right, it's all good to go just ring up, Mercedes repair shop and arrange a time to take it in so it's all been approved.
Finally, yeah Ziggy's. It's, you know, they delay it.
Yeah. It's four five, six weeks.
And then by the time we get to the repair shop, it could be another two or three weeks before they even get the partying. So before you started that's
gone. Yeah.
It's just ridiculous. It really is.
But anyway, that days, you jump up and down and up, you know, I did, which I did, so they've fixed that.
So that'll be arranged to I've hopefully within the next week or two how high. Yeah, so that's pretty much it
with our cars as well. Now how did you jump?
I jump pretty high. I was pretty good at high jump
in high school. Yeah, so yeah look, it's just
Our top guys being nice to him and talking to the right people and and then you do get some results.
So I think a little I suppose an insurance company could be like that but you know when it's when they have to pay out suppose they hold back as much as I can. Yeah, absolutely.
Because like they don't make money at the end of the day, aren't they? So watch this space. 2008, you
met Mimi, I've got a busy week this week.
Actually I'm installing a Apple carplay and Android auto head unit into my mom's. 3. Whoo.
So I bought the facial kit, but everything, it's all its.
You can put it all back to factory because I know you all about the factory life Edward but this will bring the camera back to like 2022 because it will 23,000 say because it will having all that smart phone connectivity.
She can streamer her spotify's and be all good with that.
And Sue know what she's going with some map.
So I'm going to select either tomorrow or on Thursday.
I'm also doing my sisters boyfriends, a CB radio which I've never install one of Before.
So I'm going to I'm going to do that and a light bulb.
And so he's like Barney's, go, uh-huh.
I like doing little electrical things like that, I find it quite funny, but a bunch gave the typhoon Awash.
I haven't really lost my watch. It was like six months ago,
those who was just kind of just kind of actually, no, no.
Like, pop it, like a proper wash, not just as much as the rinse was. It was probably six months ago.
So, give it a nice clean and, and gave the fiesta are clean and pack them up and they're happy.
But I got the job, a pretty cool car in the weekend and I'm kind of excited about about, you know, The hype for.
It was pretty damn good. I drove a i Civic the brand new
Civic Type R that was long. What?
Yeah, that was pretty cool. So, in Championship white.
I, yeah, it was, it drove a lot different to what I, how I expected to drive. I'll be on you drive, the
previous type are. No, no, I'm back.
Apparently job similar to the previous one, but I never drove the previous on the only ones I would.
Yeah, the high end high, revving ep-3, and and stuff, you know.
Yeah. So this is a completely
different car. Like the way this car drove, how
can I put it drug it? Defied?
Everything I expected like the like to put in perspective, my typhoons ties. Yeah, they're 245.
You know why this is got 26 Fives Squared squared stands.
Like it's a huge tire on a front-wheel drive car. 235,
kilowatts 420 newton meters of torque.
So really talk. It was the end of didn't feel
turbocharged. It just felt like a like a just
feel like an actor. A strong natural spread engine
all the way through the rib rage.
Like there was no rule lag and she's I don't think there was any lag at all because a lot of the new turbo it's got it just felt it felt like a well-sorted like performance car.
The suspension in Comfort, with Supple in our was, was a bit stiff but I, it was a prize, is surprisingly good.
What freaked me out the most about it was like the Sita epic.
And it likely likely, probably one of the best, you know, Factory said you could buy in any car.
I freaked me out was how stable it felt like it didn't feel it.
Honestly didn't feel anything like as any old Honda.
I like you like a. I'll type are you know, where
you would. You think it would drive like
this drove it drove with a sure-footedness?
Like, I've never seen what it was.
So planted it felt like you could like I was putting it into some Corners when you're a relative speed and quite hard and it just felt like there was just endless demands a grip.
I mean with the 265 tire you're going to get that.
It blew me away. I could not believe how good it
drove. So if Laughter in the market for
a hot hatch. I think that's the one you want
to get because it's yeah unbelievably good.
So yeah, that I was going to say, how about that.
Surprise me that car. It was it felt.
I mean, I was only a short drive ahead with it, but it only took like a minute to realize that this is something quite quite special. So yeah, I love to look to see
what one can do on a track at some point in the future, but I can see what because R is talk. So highly of them because
because he's data, guys got one and he always says he's like, Matt, you got to drive a typo, you got to drive at, I'll buy you to drop it. A pie when the opportunity came
around it's like yeah I'll give it a go.
It yeah, definitely. Get over those hurdles different
tool to if you expecting the old-school VTEC up top, you know, nothing down low Honda, it's as a completely different ball game. This is a, this is a serious
performance car. So, yeah, it would recommend if
you're in the, in the market for them, but if you are, if you're after I'm there, I think's a two-year, wait now and I think they've even close the order books in Japan for them because that's how sort of that they are so sad to saying a lot.
But yeah, keeper, keep your He's on the macaque is it's a, it's a cracker. I drove the previous one in.
Yeah. I was very impressed with that.
Wasn't sold on the way it looks, but on the way I drive, you couldn't fault it. It was great.
Yeah. I just couldn't believe how good
how good this thing, driver? And because you have any, you've
driven the last one a couple times, right?
Only once I think. But it was I had it in the wet
for a day and it for front driver jeez.
It doesn't feel like a front driver.
It's just, it feels Most all wheel drive, the levels of grip it had and so easy to put around.
But if you wanted to hang it at the performance was there was no no. I actually had a couple of jobs.
Yeah, I did do a photo shoot with one with our, when our friend work for Honda and I drove it all day that day.
I'm down like mountain and by speeds and it.
Yeah, it impressed me then, you know, it's a very, very usable performance car. Yeah.
So I think, yep, that a good thing.
If the new ones better than the one, I drive well, hey, Presto even better. Yeah, well, for more cowards,
like they drive. Very similar.
The like the drivetrains virtually identical except for the, you know, the different turbo and what the same turbo, just just with different internals and a few other people of bits and Bobs. It's just like from the from
speaking to the person that was with the car.
He was saying it's they did everything just a just tweaked everything like because it's like the previous type.
I would like everyone says, was like a benchmark in terms of, you know, how good to drive he's of driving.
And this was like, this was no exception.
So yeah, really, it's a really easy kind of drop like, you felt But what kind of got me was? I don't know if it was the same
with the FK out, which is when you drive to the fr9, it felt quite long. Like it's called a quite a big
car. It almost felt like, can resize.
I'm like, like from like 10 years ago like midsize car didn't feel like a small hot hatch anymore.
So in back-to-back comparison with the fiestas de Fiesta for that little bit more Nimble and more playful, and more a job because it's a lot smaller car. Well as well as with the type I
it's wider it's longer you know, it's Doodles more grip because it's Yeah, the mechanical grip on the 265 is just nuts or, you know, just on a square stance and you're right.
It didn't feel front-wheel drive at all.
It felt if just a grip levels felt like it was like I was dropping like a Focus RS was only a felony if I'm real it just felt so sure full of itself.
Like I was like I was like I could I could not believe how good a driver you stole it. Didn't you.
I did steal it. Yeah, stole it.
I ran raided some banks and cops.
Yeah, no it was it was, it was cool.
It was really, really cool experience.
So yeah, I would, you know, I wouldn't kick one out of my garage but that way but anyway, you know that look about tonight, what we got some car, we got some car, what would you rather us tonight? Then.
Scotty's, cryptic cars but towards me.
So what would you rather? You know the rules guys, we kind
of discussed, we all share some cars like it.
What if you could pick one of these?
You know, certain cars? What would, what would you go
for and why new and old. We do that discussion now,
because Edward brought that one. No.
Well, what about this? One knew but I would have bought
this one when you know it's 50 years old so being is as like I'm Nails scam boner. Yeah.
I thought I'd put this first one out for you guys.
Now, you know, you're after a really small car, that's fuel efficient. All from the same period, you
know, that you can put around in and enjoy now.
Your options are the Honda Scamp, the original, the original Mini, the VW Beetle, and the Fiat 500 or the cinquecento. A Is it is it is a welder and
this is this. Now you're buying these old
cars. Now, you buying back then and
buying their now. These are now.
Yeah, now these aren't in these four in particular.
Right. There are considered Classics
and, and they'll quite a well-loved in the community, probably the Scamp little bit less.
So because not many people know what it know what it is, but like the other three are like household names, what would you have bought at? But seeing as you and you own a
beetle. Yeah, once for a very short
period of time, I bought and sold it within like Week or something, the only people hundred nine ever.
You do not dislike Italian cars? No, I haven't driven one.
No, I think I've been one maybe. Did not have driven one.
I would back then by the mini. I like the look of it.
I like its stance on the road and it's chuckle ball, handling and now I probably still by the mini.
Yeah, I think. Yeah, I like beetles but I don't
have a strong Affinity to them. I like that.
Like there's something ever gone down that rabbit hole Fiat. 500
Italian are don't think it drives as well as a mini and Scamp. I mean, I also own a Scamp in a
mini, but I just think the many is a bit more Chuck, a bull, and a bit more, my look, if I had to pick between the two, okay?
So your order would be many skinny back in meaning now, ah, Or did back then. Yep, I would have gone.
Mini first Scamp second Beetle then fit.
Now I would go mini Scamp, probably be it then Beetle.
Okay. Well if it might get a looking
ahead of the beetle now, just because of Sighs.
It's so manageable, it's very cute.
It's a cute little brother. Who's a cute cat no matter what?
Because I just got something against him but the Volkswagen will be last. I just don't like the look of
it. Never have number one, pick
would probably be me. Neither something about a mini
that just, I mean, it's a mini just legendary eye every time.
I see one that's well kept and see on the road at still turns my head even today. So that mean number one, good
jobs. Very good choice.
Honda will be S because I'm thinking it's an awesome little cute car. And Very reliable at the same
time. So can't go wrong there and then
we'll be the Fiat. 500 Rob probably the mini, but also a
mean thing for a beetle as well, many of you I was a mate - I had one when I was a trade school and was to go through a roundabout, some three wheels. Hmm.
Horse why did I go through bat bat first?
Yeah, they'll fantastic at Bathurst, you know?
So and then the amount of work you can do today is Motors as well. All the cars And yeah, they're
very tunable, very trainable, but in saying that that's why I'm going s for the beetle pig is a mate of mine had a beetle and this car was a 12 second car.
Well, and I was, it look like a stock Beetle.
When you used to plan at the front wheels would come off the ground in the back wheels or squat my V8 back.
Then I had a bit of work done to my vad extractors and I had to tune a scorcher ignition, you know, Holly 500, all that sort of stuff and I could bear. Just now walk a cape out with
him. He blamed me to awaits my, my
car was quickly - probably a now back down a 15 second car, but he's is just quick. Yeah, yeah, it was a little
engine or was it something else in its Barrel Engine with shiv pistons and rods in it? And it's the guts were just work
at all and then we nothing to sew.
And a thing was that when he went away he went around Australia and his Combi van. So he pulled the old Combi van
motor out which is broken down and pull it out of his Beetle and popped. It in and not be wet with this
work. Major it is, it it is convey van
and so is like, your is just saying it's so easy to work on to. You can just pour out of the
side of the road and do work on it.
So there's a lot of good things about it, but I just didn't like the way the gearbox was, the way drives.
And unfortunately I seen a real serious accident where a mother and a daughter was in the middle.
There off the road and hit a culvert done.
A lot of damage to the Beetle and the people in Sighs.
I want you. I think any of the cars in this
comparison, you're stuck to hit anything true true.
But it's just, I felt like the scams is going to save you, you know, know they'll probably wouldn't so.
And if I thought I have a thing for free it's always wanted to see. It never had one.
But yeah I wanted to get a Fiat 500 but no one in the family, really wanted one. So my son how he sort of likes
them. But apart from that wife and
daughter didn't really like the reckon they're too small too tiny. So You little Scamp nap.
Thanks, Rogue air-cooled. So I think I'm very good and
what about you? Matt, I would have went mini
because so many number one. Definitely be me honey.
I'll just every time I see many issues until I owned this camp.
There's a Scamp and a 500 and the bigger one beta, some a just out. And I like I like I've I find
them kind of, I don't know, I just don't find them.
Interesting, was like what's weird is I find calm bees like the best car ever. Like that's that's my favorites.
My favorite guy ever and then I find Beatles really met.
So yeah, maybe just maybe I'm maybe I'm just a bit, I'm bit weird like that. But having said that now, these
cars have all transcended into their new forms which are you can still currently by works except for the Beetle and the beetle you can't, you I think they've just the discontinued at here a while ago, but obviously they've just discontinued it.
Would you have went for the new mini, then we Beetle the new Fiat 500 or the Honda in one which which David owns like the another. So going from old to new now
obviously they're nothing like when they were what they were originally like that as you know, to be fair the fits too unreliable but the The Minis are BMW, the Honda is probably the, it's still a cake, are I'll be at turbocharged and, and you know, will be more go and the and the vw's basically a golfing drag. So what way it would, if you had
to buy a new modern one to have your matching pair, or would you, would you going to do something completely different out of though? Like, you know, so I had too
many other roles committee but I'll get a, I'll get a new in one. Okay, old old Mini number one,
new Mini number one died. Trough presumably, you know,
they're not without their issues like anything European, but they are very good car to drive. So I'd go new.
Mini knew what? I got an extra new Honda in one,
I'd go, the beetle would be last so then I'd go, the Fiat, probably. Then the beetle actually, know
the new Beetle, the one that looks more like a superbug.
I like the quite like a look. All of that.
So I'd go new Beetle, then the feet would be lost.
So many anyone Beetle it's gone. Cool.
That's pretty tough. I haven't driven one of the new
Minis, but I'm sure they're pretty good.
I know there are a lot bigger now and heavier, but you know, they've got to be, I guess because everyone else is getting bigger and heavier. I'll probably still keep it the
same. Okay.
Yeah, I still keep it the same. I'd still go for a mini and then
I'd go the n 1. And the Fiat 500 and then the VW
last. Yeah, I think I keep it the
same. That was a tough one.
I was thinking for a bit as like, what I change things but no probably still keeping the same order.
Yeah, nice and easy. We're a real tough because I've
got this love-hate relationship with BMW sedan and the mini eat the BMW at the end of the day. And right, well, I'll send a
warranty brand-new. So, yes they drive.
Look Great. Everything is great engineered.
Well, once it's out of warranty, it'll be on the bottom of the list, but because it's new, and it's in warranty, maybe maybe the mini just did just scraped in, and then probably the Honda, then the Fiat and then the v-dub, no, I'm driven the new, the new Beetle. Well, would like the last one,
which was the, I think the supercharged, and the turbo motor. I'd over that with the, with a
dual clutch and the Duke. I did not like driving it at
all. I thought a dual-clutch was
horrible. It was jerky.
It just and it was like a, like a brand-new Carly had like 3000k on it when I when I drove it I was like I just I didn't feel comfortable driving it which is a shame because it actually looked quite good was black with a little spoiler and everything and and look quite good. Neither fear 500.
Now I'm not talking about the performance versions of any of these comes home at the standard, the standard me on Back to Basics one. Now, the Fiat 500, it's super,
duper cute, but all accounts, they're quite horrendous.
This to our own. If you own a appear in
dual-clutch, one manual ones are better, but still not great.
So that would be. So it'll be, it'll be Beetle
last. Be it third, I'm going to go
mini second because I think the current mean he's a bit bulbous.
Not, it wasn't like the, the first of the new Minis, which was, which was quite a good-looking car.
And I'm going to get the Honda first here, that's for me.
I've to driving David's, David's Honda, I was like, this is sick.
It was so good. Good guy.
Great guy. Well, other one, would you
rather, would you have genuine Scotty?
Did you make one? Yes, I do have one.
I Minds around rallying. So it was huge in the 90s.
You had lots to choose from tons that we're in there.
Now, when you're looking at the WIC, there's not as many choices anymore. You still might be a fan of it,
but you want to get behind the wheel of one of these cars.
So the ones that are going on at the moment.
So these are your Choices. You've got number one, the
Toyota, gr Yaris, rally Hyundai i20, n and a Ford puma and to round off number four. It's not in it anymore.
It's not in it. I know they used to have red
nose and stuff not anymore, but I thought I'd throw it in there because I kind of think they're pretty cool.
The Renault Clio RS. Hmm.
So they must have four choices. You want to get Pine something
pretty small and still out there and WRC except for the Rando.
But I thought I'd throw in a number for what would you go with one yard? Yes.
Yeah, I 20n Ford Puma. Yep.
And I ran it over Clio RS. So, not the when I'm Meghan, the
Cleo you can not the Meegan, I would go.
Yaris. First I would go Puma last.
I would go Cleo third and what was the other one I-20?
I don't like the I-20 night before I go to Cleo second.
Then Yaris first Cleo second I 23rd Puma fourth.
Why that order? Because I like the hours are
very well respected car and that's Toyota Cleo's a fun.
They're the only good thing Renault turns out.
I reckon pew. Just ugly.
And I like foods that much and the I-20 and Manuel just has to go in third, doesn't it? I feel really into good job.
Sure. It's I-20 into.
Good karva. Yeah, I just liked it more than
the for Rob. Exactly the same as Ed.
Well, wow. Yeah, absolutely.
I just Puma a year I-20. Mmm.
Yeah, so yeah, I think it's definitely that order.
Definitely good choice. Rob Scott.
I know this is your Oh thing Matt, I'm going to say the Ford last. I driven a pure-minded not great
even though it's based on a fiesta but it doesn't drive anywhere near as good as it live up to the name of humor doesn't, it doesn't at all? Then it be the clear because
it's got a dual clutch because it's I should know I'll put the Clio last because the the jewel Cloud rule in that car, that that last IRS that they had, I should have been a manual.
If it was a manual being great, Puma third will it?
Stop because you are 20 and is actually really really good car.
And it's going to look like there was something there.
Shut the waiting list like the difference to shut the gates on it because it's just it's got astronomical wait times with with fairies and and near secondhand values are gone insane. So but again you comparing that
to a Yaris gr which is all drive from the factory, three cylinder which now I like I would have said I 20n if it was all drive but I kind of chili. She really liked the size of the
I-20 and but the The Yaris gr, it's just something special about that. So Bo, she I-20 n Puma, then
Cleo. Sorry.
So I have trouble trying to toss up between I-20 and all the Yaris because I really like both and the way they've just both come out with something. Fantastic.
You know, you wouldn't really expect something like high-end item coming out with I30 ends and I-20 ends and for them to be reviewed. So well, To, and not to mention
the warranty and everything you get with it.
I think if I was thinking with my head, I would say that the Toyota the fussing with my head, I'd probably say the high-end I just because I'm thinking I can thrash it and thrash it.
And I got a huge one, keeping warranty and things on it.
But then you know then you got the toilet of G GI Yaris.
That's Has been fine. No, people are pushing out
massive power out of this 3-cylinder.
So, yeah, if I'm thinking with my heart will be the gr, then it would be the I-20 and then the Renault.
But I want the rent out in the yellow because it looks freaking awesome. And yeah, it's a really good
J.Lo and then Puma will be last. Yeah, I I you know deals, what's
weird in Australia that are not for the Puma is T, which is available with immense assignment engine.
And A box as the fiesta is to. They offered in Europe which is
quite a good Soul over here. We get all automatic options
like well which are dual clutch, you know crap power power sh1t Transmissions. Now if that was an option I
would have said. Yeah.
Or I would have I would have that, you know, it was probably still be able to probably still being towed out of ballast.
But the clear was the big disappointment for me because like the fact that what the weather, what they saw making it but the fact that it's a mini, it's a small hot hatch that competed against Fiesta ST. I-20 n.
You know, 20 I think it's 208 GTI.
They were all the other ones all available as manual that ones are dual clutch and not, you know, it kind of let the car down a little bit. And hence the reason why the
cells weren't as well as strong for that I get like I'll just think about my decision about about the I-20 and over the over the really sorry below the Yaris, the Yaris for me, takes it just because it's a homologation special because it was made for rallying like it was that makes that little bit more special than the I-20 and even though there's Ryan is He's just a fan. It's a phenomenal guy.
Like I drove the I30 and not too long ago and that blew me away.
I have you driven a 9:30 in a drawer No.
No I don't think I I've been in one.
I haven't driven one. Yeah.
Meaning it. Been having driven.
Yeah. Drive fantastically.
Well like it was really good light.
Surprise surprise you how good it drove?
I was like like this car is fantastic.
And if you are 20 and drive anywhere near as good as that I would be like. Yeah well which will promote
accounted does. So yeah, I think I think just I
think the Yaris has to take it just because it's got that homologation. Special anything that's a
homologation. Special just instantly that
little bit more special. You know, I mean because it's
because it just it just has to be at that point.
So to me, that's where I would be.
It would have you got your One by?
I didn't have four cars only had two.
That's why you're going to gone since one.
Thank you. What would you rather a new
Honda e-electric or a slightly optioned up Tesla Model 3?
That's a good thing in this grader in the high 70s, you know currently? So yeah so in a Hyundai Here is
what 75? Well, there's one on Biz only
one on cars. Has at seventy nine grand.
Where would you go? You 79 Grand.
Honda it would you go? You 79 Grand option, dr.
Tesla Model, 3 look for me as much as I love the Hyundai and I think it looks really cool and I think it's funky and I get that it's a city, but if I had to choose it as a city car, it would be the Hyundai because because you I wouldn't worry about rain Journey because it's got a very small range compared to the compared to the Tesla and but for all other uses, I think I would take Tesla. I can't believe I'm saying that
I know because like, I really like the hungry.
I think it's like things to be one of the best looking cars, you know, to come out of the last 10 years, but I just can't justify the price tag for such a small range.
Even though it is, what do you think in that car?
Feels like 100-something miles, which is like, which is known as DK as I mean, yes, it's not it's not a lot.
I mean, every little trick that actually because, like, I knew, I knew it was a lie. Watch a review on it.
It runs like it's cracking to, it's really cool.
You can like, power your, your Kettle and stuff in there.
But overall, as as a, as a package, for the to turn a common as a ranger says, and they designed it to be an urban car with with most commutes being a mere 31 minutes.
So look for that purpose. If it was in a city car
absolutely honey because it's Nimble and light and easy to park but the price of that is just ridiculous.
They're like like it's is more than 100 Civic Type R.
I know so you can with your head or your heart.
I'm thinking with my head on forehead says Tesla.
Heart says Handi, correct. Absolutely.
How does one day all day? But my head says a car that'll
give me a bit more to know if you wanted to do a bit more a bit more distance in case I need.
It was my one car solution and it'll be the Tesla out of those two if I lived in the city and you know I only had like a five minute commute to work or Y card be having 100 because it's easy to park. But I think just and the
practicality or it's a be a car. I think I'm fortunate I have to
say I'm go for the Tesla Model 3 because it'd be tricked up.
You'd get more, you get the performance.
One of you getting it for that price so I think it's going to be a Tesla Tesla Model 3 for me Scott yeah I'm pretty much on the same board there with with Maddie.
To if it was with my heart I'll be all over that one day because I love the look. The range anxiety.
It's a thing of the look of the outside.
And I love the look of the inside that Rob and most of your time is on the inside, but it's true.
I think the Honda is a joke where we Tesla's absolute Jack 210. 220 km range on any advanced that's just ridiculous.
Yes, not a lot, is it the money, you're paying in a company that's been in business, so long, you've and they're right up there with robotics and everything else.
They can't build some cars with Good batteries.
Trees in them. Yeah.
Oh, it's jokes is Rob joke. Absolute joke.
They need to get their act together.
Hannah. Put it, it's just it's just
weird that they did come up with the Hyundai, right?
And they said, yeah, we know it's going to be a city car.
But at least price it accordingly because like it even in the UK it's very expensive for what it is.
Like, they're like this is really part if it had that range and it was like half the price of that.
I'd be like OK, that kind of makes sense because you're getting, you know, you don't need any 35 grand for it or something. It's like correct.
Which is, which would be like, you know, I really like you know what that's that makes kind of sense like for that for 35 Grand. Absolutely. because I'm because
you're getting using the range up that would come on, come under that, but for I guess you know everything else like you know you can't really go out of the city in that car.
You can't do a big trip. You can't you know you and I get
I know 100 saying it is a city car.
I get that I understand that but I guarantee some people are going like well I look like I need to.
I need to go somewhere this time.
I don't want you with more money than brains will buy that.
Yeah, price it as a city car then.
Well yeah that's my biggest issue with that car.
You got a price it as a city car like you can't price it as As a, you can't process that is more than a model 31.
A model 3 does everything else in water does everything is correct besides looking better. It does.
Everything else about glad I'm glad this is invoked such a passionate discussion because I like the Hyundai I want to like it, but the fact of the matter is the price just just makes it at a rice and their range, but bow.
Yeah. So you better 500k range and it
was 40 Grand. You'd be a lot more honorable
yeah. It was 40, it was 45 even with
500k. Surrounded by get.
All right. Okay.
All right, I get it because it'll be in leaf territory.
At that point? We territory wolf, I'll put it
almost in the same category as an electric motor bike, okay?
They are useless. Wow.
Any good for the city and that's pretty much it like you said, nothing else. Yeah, don't hear much about
electric motor. I know you don't really do well,
hardly try to bring one out the people's Lightning and now they've stopped bringing him out.
I believe when your son tried to bring that out from overseas or something. Yeah.
So not my Holly but Harley-Davidson it better and there's there are quite a few sports bikes out now.
And they're looking at building Adventure, electrically Adventure bikes, and Electric Dirt Bikes, Enduro bikes, KTM have got electric bikes, so they're even starting to race electric bikes. So they're great for Or motor
crossing short Enduro trips, but long-distance get about it, because you wouldn't be able to get much range out of it.
You can't Chuck, shoot, heavy batteries into a motorbike.
So at the same range as the Honda.
Hmm. So if I'm if I'm on buying a
motorbike, I wanted to be loud and obnoxious.
I want to be an asshole. I want to be one of those people
that allowed overnight. I'm nauseous if I'm buying a
Harley, I'm not buying it to be quiet.
Am I like you buying a highly to sit there and just Billie blaikie neighbors up in the morning.
Like that is the whole point of being obviously, you know, ostentatious insane loud, Brash balls out.
This is, this is a, this is a, what you're buying a Harley for, right? And I can see why they're not
bringing him here if you will, because they wouldn't, they wouldn't really attract that one into their, would they?
But yeah, it's yeah, I read an electric electric push bike.
Mmm, a highly illegal one. Modified one that that is, that
was your brought over from the south Spike, I seen five grand, bring him over from the states. It was the maid in the state,
these ones, and any be built it here.
And he rides from your minions town, all the way to school and charges up at school and bring writer.
And he's like every time I see a cop, I just start pedaling you know like to give it to me cuz it's good but it's it is fast like it's quick. It gets that well over 50 cases
an hour. I'm like yeah this is this is
this is cool. I'd actually go.
Black. But for actual motorbike
motorbike, which is, which is like you know basic like a Harley or something. I'm just like no you needed to
be loud and Brash and obnoxious, that's the whole point.
Imagine a big black bloke in a motorcycle gang.
Any walks over all tatted up and sits on his motorbike has look right. Does it.
Where's your money going on Danny or upgraded Tesla Model?
Very outnumbered but I can't get past.
Stay in touch. I just I just think it's
interesting in the Tesla's boring.
It's that simple. Rob your Tesla and I what you
have to say about that. Well, it's probably been in one,
he's probably driven one and if he still thinks it's boring World, it obviously hasn't really engaged with the car and driven the car, really, I think Ed you need to get out there and use it for finding out the features that it's got that I didn't even know what had Add Bob, I'm not interested in buying a computer. And that's what it easy to
compete wheels and for people who love Tech go for it for me, couldn't shit. But the the the E is very much
similar because it really is like Beauty retro styling.
Yeah. Okay, if the Tesla Tesla had Q
retro styling for the same price, would you wear for the Tesla? Then I do though that might win
me over. Okay, now as I said, I really
like the way. Way.
The Argan is one of the best looking cars in last 10 years, but the facts are the facts. Are I?
Like you can't kind of go. You can't do much with the Honda
a for the price. I said it was up.
It was half the price that they're saying poor.
Yeah. I just like it.
Yeah, that's fair. That's fair.
Yeah. It's thinking with his heart.
That's all right. It robbed, you tell you, it's
okay to be wrong. It's okay to be wrong here.
Ha ha ha. Most people would look at all my
cars and say, Wrong with every single one.
Mostly our grave. Some of the cars you select the
Sigh. It's just that this one is why
out there left wing? We've all got, Logan are
actually peel left Winger. Who else needs to go?
Just Rodney to do. I don't know if it is, this is
in. I don't know what, you know
what, you guys sort of Base it on, but if you had a choice of buying in this is, you have to go back to 2016 because I stopped Building some of these cars Moran, 2016.
And we're going forward. Yeah.
Would you have chat board a brand-new Mustang at the time when they first come out, 96 print or an X R8 Sprint.
That's a good question. Thank you, go.
That you've got. It's got to be not the Mustang.
I would have gone. What's, I mean, what's the
benefit of an X R8 /, a Nexus 6. Other than ones that 8126 on.
What are you what are you getting?
So the saddle way? Yes.
I mean, I think if you're gonna do it Go all that get asked it in a tied game. The accelerator to answer your
question Rob. I would have went the xr8 Sprint
because but because you could get it as a manual.
Do a little bit. That accelerates print manual
the Mustang if back then because I would like wall Mustangs coming to Australia. They would have been.
It was like it was a bit was a big effect in right?
Not now. Yeah.
And and because I already own something Berra powder, I probably would've said, oh good, I'll get the Mustang second and then I would have went the borough of The Exorcist turbo, dirty? Having said that though, out of
all the Three of those cars. It was the ex SX Turbo.
That's the fastest car. It was the quickest car.
Yeah. But the XS 6 Sprint only was, I
only was available as an automatic which, which, which, which is good because it was a really quick car but the other two are available as a bit more of a driver's car in the form of a form of manual. So I would have went xr8,
Sprint, Mustang and a Nexus 6. Sprint excess, extremely strict.
I had when I had that issue before destroy Alia when I Will be a smash car, right? I had the opportunity to buy an
xr6 printer or because they had one on the on the floor there and how it goes, no, don't buy that.
Get the Mustang and I regret it ever since.
Yeah. But xr6 Sprint, even though I
love the Mustang and it's sort of like there's this attachment to the car, it's raw. It's no matter what you say
about them to their a great car to drive for you.
Just there's this feeling about driving him up.
Steamed and that you don't have in most other cars, unless you're spending big dollars, maybe a little.
But yeah, the Mustangs got that real visceral effect on you.
When you guys I get the robe because like we've had out of Morris from reader on the showing and he's like I wanted to hate the Mustang when he drove his like I wanted to not like it but he's like you can't afford in love with it because it's a big V8 brute. It's like a, such a friendly
personality. It's just, it's one of those.
It's one of those cars that I just like You just can't help but love you don't really even though you try hard not to it's like it's like a bad uncle that you know you shouldn't hang out with because he's because he's going to give you like you know like a beer behind your dad's back but he's the one that's that's like come on let's get on and do something and and that's what that's what I must think for me has always kind of kind of been. Yeah it's a tough one because
like I said like I really want to say you know, Barry pal the world. But yeah, I just just put me at
the time because of the hype was so strong for it.
I probably would've said no police had must NG s accelerates print because it was like the last of the V8 my Ford Falcons lost in the Falcons, really? But yeah.
Edward what do we do? Where would you have done?
I said the xr8 and then s XS 6. And if the first time Scotty, I
would have jumped onto the hypo. We're going for Mustang first.
Just because I always like Mustangs and I'll be like, oh my goodness! Finally, you know, we're getting
him here in Australia, right? Hand drive.
And I would have jumped on that. I really like the sound of the,
the VA. It to that.
The Mustangs had I think it was what the same one that came in there because all right. Also yep.
It's stupid correct. But yeah, I'll just gone
straight for the Mustang and then it would have been the xr8 next then they xr6 after that. Okay.
But what I know now, I probably would have gone for the xr8 first, because I'll be sitting on a bit of a gold mine there.
Yep. Bit of a nest egg.
And then Nexus 6. And then the Mustang Rob, I'm
assuming you would have done the same pretty much.
Yeah. Just just for the sitting on the
Goldmine thing. Yeah, yeah.
My last on for type who we get into cryptic cars now, it's going back about six months. When all these cars were
available, you're after a really exciting, you know, smallish car A hundred thousand dollars that's that's fun to drive.
It's got a bit of pedigree behind it, so I'll rephrase probably not six months, but within that within the last six months of buying buy a car because one of these cars is no longer for sale. So they're all over
surprisingly, 50 Grand, which is heart, which kind of weird to say, for, for summer. Some like I'm about to mention
in a moment. They're all over 50 Grand, but
they're all, they're all performance cars, they're all turbocharged. There are three that are all
drive through that, a front-wheel drive.
I've so they're all kind of in that that hot little performance for door. Order a segment, they entail the
Corolla gr, which is just coming out the WRX, which is the current WRX type. That's just that's just been
released the new Golf R, the Civic Type R, the current FL 5 or any are going Focus ST which is just been discontinued all available as a manual. Except for the Golf R, I think
we can get the gulf are here as man.
You overseas you can get as manual, but you Get it.
Here's a menu from all accounts. The only other one that's
available as an auto is the WRX or the Focus ST.
The but you could but you can get them as a man as a man in.
So where is your money going there?
All about you know fifty five ish upwards to about 80.
So that's your kind of price ranges there.
You're after a small performance car that's got four doors.
Not too too small with with some real good track pedigree.
Where is your money? Going.
And why? So give me the snapshot again.
Corolla GR4 ology our Subaru, WRX type, our Civic, Type R, Golf R and Focus ST which is now just discontinued.
I think I'd buy the chronology our first.
I think I'd rather Civic Type R S, I think I'd put The focus last, all the other ones. So you got the golfer and that
would be last. What was the other one WRX that
be? All right.
Okay, so we're going Corolla gr Civic WRX, Focus golf, okay.
Well golf. Ah, no because you don't like
vw's WX /. Focus ST.
Why? It's Japanese.
I like, but, but Corolla over over typo and you've driven a tire by and you like the type up a deal like this, how I die.
I'm not mad on the look of the new.
I not look does not. I don't love the look.
I think I just if I'm going to go something that I don't love the look of them as well over Twitter.
Yeah, that's that's true. Scott - almost the same logo.
The Corolla first ever since I saw pictures of it.
I was just in love with it. Like, more than the Yaris.
Yeah, I think it The crawler looks way better second, the Cardinals will be looking car, like it's even even I even if it's not the GI version, the new crawlers.
Look fantastic. Yes.
A second would be the type, our third so would be the Fort St and then I'll go the WRX and then the v w.
So you'd go Focus over w. X y, would you definitely?
I think it comes down to. It comes down to Looks with that
one. Yeah, I just don't like the look
of the new WRX and that's all you've got.
Is a WRX. There's no horrid up version or
anything like that and it's the eye.
It's just plastic that's going to age big-time bit of sun on that that's going to fade on and look.
Caravel, you have to constantly keep that polish to keep that looking nice and black. It's just I know it just reminds
me of some of the old where was it?
Probably the early 2000 that with the Jeep.
Yeah. Because the Jeep had the hugest,
that was a big black plastic, all on the outside, all the way around, it just it just makes it feel extremely cheap and will age and look terrible in a couple years.
It's just a clothing that gives me with that car, like this so much over there, like it's just everywhere, it's not needed, not need everything these days. It's not what we're heading
towards. None of this extra cladding
stuck on there. Have it matched T', you know,
paint matching. Yeah, I agree with that.
Having a bunch Rob. I'm sort of torn.
I feel that Corolla Toyota and Volkswagen as stuck to the line of cars throughout the years and they still continuing that Honda are just on a bandwagon. So so by order of cars would be
to Kerala. The gulf sort of golf up there
because it's a great old, a cat all-around car, and a great track cards, great everything. Yeah.
You're right. So it's the but a Corolla
because they knew and there's something exciting.
So Corolla Focus would have been up there.
But so that it be third, just with some of the features that they had WRX already gone too big, too fat.
I reckon. And so is the Honda Civic.
I think so was what you did you take?
Civic? R WX for the last spot.
I've deceived. Like I would say, would be a
better car, but I just still got a soft spot for a WRX being all-wheel-drive. Still I know, Debbie slow, I
don't be as good that are, but it just took the WRX, is probably better value for money than the Civic.
And that's actually a fair point because the doll where X is a lot cheaper than me than the Civic Type R.
I think it's I shouted that list is the cheapest car.
So yeah. So it kind of it kind of makes
sense wire. Why?
Like, a lot of people have yeah. Been having been buying them
because they just, they want they readily available in to you getting quite good value. Good performance proposition for
the money and then get them as a wagon although you can't get them up the wagon as a manual which is just like everywhere you don't it has been just hot and cold.
I think over the years and they really only got whatever car apart from the NSX which you can't get.
Yeah, or can't afford whatever card got.
That sort of keeps people coming into their showrooms and they don't even want people to go into Sharon's anymore because they're shutting him down. Yeah, I need to bring in, you
know, like an S2000 of sorts. Yeah.
That's just something in the middle, right?
It's fun and just, you know, and quieter Subaru have done it with a 6. So Hannah.
She'll jump on board with something with that.
Exactly. They just Civics.
Preludes s2000s at one stage. Do whoa, the old like right up
there that a Halo of all cars. Yeah, yeah.
Well I just lost any all faith in a Honda.
Yeah. Well, I mean like the only
colored interests me in Honda's entire lineup is the Civic Type R. Like and that's that's things
like well I used to, you're right.
You had you lose, you had your tags.
You had your, even your haunted Civics know, but like you did.
Yeah. And like, and these were, these
were cool cars. Like everyone's Well, you know,
and then they will pricey. But they're always called the,
the what's called Japanese BMW because of the way, they drove and, and they precision, and and everything about that, which we which I, which I get, and I understand why certain a lot of people off on, do it. I can completely, I completely
get it, my sister's got a Honda order.
They small su4 drives. Hey, happy days or whatever they
are. And she's had a couple of years
of the early model wants to a newer models.
I think, the HIV. So yeah.
Anyway, HIV is the little one. No, no.
It's the biggest slightly bigger CRP CRP.
She's at the CRVs over the years and she had an earlier one and this you got a slightly blow to model.
One means just saying that. The earlier one was the quality
was so much better. Didn't rattle.
There's less noisy that the carpets lasted long as they didn't Fray, the fabric was better in it and the light of all that she bought the quality was absolute crap.
Yeah. Really disappointed in the car.
Good and that's just coming from, you know, we have a teacher teacher, sorry, very sorry and Scott Scott and Scott.
You got a few on the call here still you know she's not into cars and you know she noticed she's going to notice that is huge. Hmm.
What are we gonna do about cryptic cars?
As well. Go against the cryptic ours now.
Scotty boy It's gotta eat. My dinner has kind of freestyle.
You got what you got for dinner? No, I've had to use mostly was
being met but the leftover soup. You know?
We to, yeah. I like leftovers.
What about saving it did? Like since daylight saving goes
you plunged Into Darkness and coldness just like you straight into it just like one minute. I'm wearing a t-shirt watching
the car at 8:00 and it makes me too, I'm eating soup and thinking It's called like it's it's almost just but so quick.
Where's the build up the build-up to the other way is it's like you get the days get a bit longer in the days.
Could be alone you going. Oh yeah, someone's coming.
Someone's coming to. This is big build-up and then
the other end you just bam. You're out of it.
I agree. It's not the one that should be
anyway Joe and let's get into a cryptic cars, small Cars 2.
So it's going to give us the rundown of the rules for our new new listen. Isn't that high cryptic cars of
give You the name of a car, but I'll use different words for it.
For example, last week we had we had one that was the Volkswagen insect. In other words, it would be the
verbs or beetle beetle. Ugh is fine, I would have taken
any of those so I've just changed it around.
You do really, really think. Now foot today is a little bit
different because there's some bonus points.
You can get an extra, let's say an extra two points.
If you can pick up on a theme that is happening with majority of the questions. There's two movie ones in there,
that aren't relevant. Mmm, all the rest.
There's some kind of connection if you can get it right or around that ballpark of what you think it is.
That's extra two points, you can chime in for those extra two points. At any time, we don't have to
wait till the very end. All right?
Find jump in early and just take a punt or you can wait towards the end or in the middle up to you.
Scott, a quick question, if you take a punt and you're wrong, are you out for the whole time? Yes.
Yeah. Okay.
Yeah. Out for the hole.
Time for that for the whole of cryptic cars, or just that special bonus special bonus. Just for the special bonus.
You know, it makes sense it. So you get one crack at trying
to get that bonus points. Yeah.
And you can come in at any point, so that one is up to you.
All right. Question number one, the nessen
chief of state Matthew Matthew. This is cheaper state.
That would be the Nissim. It's the What it's called to
decide. I want to crack it because like,
I've completely completely blank, but I'm gonna think what it is. I'm trying to think about a
chief of state is like, the governor isn't really saw.
The president is the president, isn't it?
It's president. Yeah, it is the president's and
is some president didn't. Yeah.
It was trying to rival the Toyota Century but didn't do as well as the Centre of Obviously, because it's not really talked about or anyone drives it just talking about centuries, they, and they announced their Century SUV.
First one, I was like, you know, yeah, I know it's what people want. So I guess you have to.
Don't you? Yep.
You're in there to make money so we're losers can buy those ones.
All right, question number two I've got two words for this one.
So I'll give you one or the other just to try and help you out with this one. Because you might not get it,
this is the Holden ship master or the Holden Skipper.
Matthew Matthew jackaroo, not Japanese.
Ed holding, Caprice, not Caprice.
No, just like upon it. It myself Halden Premier not
Premier. I think like sheep Master like
Captain, that's why we have praised Captain Caprice, it would be states border, I'll Statesman.
Give it master. I think of the, I guess you need
to think of the UK rankings shipmasters, Holden Colonel Rob, that Cadet not guess. The guests are no idea.
Oh well, we'll take Amira. That's I don't know what is
going on. Gemini 9.
Super common is would sue. Commodore ships Commodore.
Yeah. There you go.
Holden Commodore. I needed to talk the Commodore
of the yacht club. Yeah.
Jeez. Matthew.
This simple buzzing in for the bonus questions.
Yep, look when it's finds is it Like, like heads of area or state or like of arm, you know, like like the highest person in the in the ice ranking ice ranking.
No. Okay, crap.
Not the highest. Not highest-ranking.
Okay, question 3 is the Hindustan Diplomat, but yeah, I heard it, that's Sara. Yeah, the Ambassador.
That's right element. Was that when you need him?
Yeah, I threw that one in there for him.
I thought he'd like that, but he's not on, but if he listens to it it's a shout out to Adam big shout at them.
Yep. All right.
Question, 4 is the Jeep leader. Matthew Matthew turkey?
No, well, that's yes, though. It probably so Commander.
Yes. The command thought I was going
to stay Commander. You own one of those Rob?
Yeah I did right? He got a brave man.
I had to be Sadie's. V6 diesel in it and ran well why
not go wrong? All right.
Question number 5 is a movie. Whoo.
So here we go. Korea.
Deuce We be cool. Yeah, Prince wanted to oh yes,
wow, I just came in and I like to do.
So I was thinking too, that's good.
Maddie very well done. Just like I was like we said, I
was like in my head, my transport of it, Deuce coming.
It comes even Trent. Oh my God.
It was still three of them transported to a perfect.
You wanna score? Check gentleman.
Yeah it would to myself to Rob one.
TT one. All right, anyone's game as we
always say. Okay, question number 6, the
Holden senior politician. Matthew, Matthew gotta be
statement. Yeah, it's not correct.
Anyone want to take a punt? Bonus question.
Not yet. I mean extra the extra two
points. I'll take a bonus.
Punk, you can take upon, they're all like positions of authority.
They're all official ranked positions.
Yeah, pretty much the politicians.
Yeah, right. Skyrocketing me 24 points.
Okay? So I'm glad you can count still
anyone's game Rob, he was going. Yeah.
Alright, okay, alright. Question, number 7, at least one
question, 7. The opal.
Recruit Ed Ed open it. Yeah, it is said, what exactly
are you thinking when you said it's like, hmm, okay.
Just didn't want to say is coming up.
By the way, it can be. Sometimes I know the pain
happened to me is going covid brain.
It's all right, my excuse and I'm sticking to it.
All right, I reckon this one might be a tough one question. 8
is the Pontiac big wig or Pontiac boss.
Ed Ed Pontiac Chief or Chieftain.
Yes wow wow. Okay - and you're on fire.
Somebody put him down. I thought there's you know come
on to think of the Chiefs a thought now that might take a little bit but never happens to me not exactly.
Bonneville. All right, question 9, the
kreisler aristocratic or the kreisler Monarch heel which is says monarchy. Oh yeah.
Monarchy do it. Ed Chrysler Royale?
Yeah, I was gonna say we're gonna say, yeah, yeah.
Yeah. A Crown Royal soccer.
Yeah, that's true. That's true.
It was still part of the crown name.
Yeah, I couldn't do that one Royale with cheese.
There's a, yeah, that leads us to the final question, quick, score check. It doesn't matter if it's one
it. Let's just go home.
Keep going. Go check Rob one myself, three,
Edward on to in the five six, seven.
Oh my goodness. Questions, one.
What is the last one question? We'd, all right, here we go.
The opal commander of the fleet, Matthew, Matthew Wouldn't be the Omega. Nope, I don't know that many
Opals. Probably a good thing.
I'll take a guess. Opel Insignia no bad.
Guess Commander the plate. They're just think of your
rankings and ships. Someone that commands a whole
Fleet of ships. Shepherd then I.
Is it a captain? Na cap it with something like
that. It was it was another European
eyeball can't remember what was that?
These guys all have a guest for no power.
Got now slip my mind, but I do it there.
A couple eyeballs that they back in the 80s 90s but it's can't remember what they'll call. It's not a, it's not either a
strawman tourism na hunt for a bit of fun with Scott.
That it is, the Admiral. Okay, Google?
Where that Admiral? Okay, doesn't look like, it
should be called an admiral. Well when I saw, when I was
like, okay, I expect it to be a little bit nicer than what it was. Well school.
Check General robbed on one myself on three.
And tonight, we're not grand total of seven is mr.
Edward bunting. Well done.
Thank you very much. Thank you very much.
So you want to thank good. Think opal for making some great
cars and Scotty's group, aim of figures of authority to thank your internet provider for your internet provider for being quite fast. I'm David for not being here,
early for not being here. He wanted and Harley or power or
anyone else who could have challenged me in this.
So what you're saying is that you're saying that Rob and I are no challenge to you. You know, the more people there
are the more challenges there is so less people, most challenge will go with that. Run with that, we're going on.
Like I bought it. I think that's a podcast.
Thank you. Maddie you doing a podcast which
will come back some point. What's it called to come back?
When Davis back from overseas, Auto Rich row with a, we talk to people about the cars of their lives, you can find it on Spotify and relive the older episodes that we've done.
Very good. Scotty's golf tips, Gothic golf
tips. You know what?
I think I've mentioned this one before already, but just how important it is, is practice your putting read those grains.
I tell you what, you can lower your scores in no time.
If you're a top putter scum, just get it on the green.
You'll be fine. Get those putts in or get them
very close so you can just tap in so commits 5-footers.
That's so important. Do not miss those 5-footers.
Would you say mini golf is helpful for that?
Unfortunately nice. It was a very modest much just
because the the surface and stuff but you know it's a hell of a lot of fun. There is some precautions.
Electrical fire fighting will Rob Rob stores.
Vietnam tours. Rob's yeah.
F1 tools. Junie's Jimmy's yeah you name
it. I probably I've mentioned that
to two people at like what you told us last time about the costs and what it was having and they're both like That sounds amazing. And I'm like, I'm going to do
it. I'll talk more about that.
Yeah. I'll feel maybe flicker, across,
we write Vietnam, it's called Hayes.
Contact details is on Insta and we write Vietnam and you can just watch that been any time. Beautiful.
You might have to go again, Rob, even though Debbie would kill you. Oh, definitely, if it's a
shorter trip, would have like a, you know, if it's the seven-day or eight-day trip, we are definitely but 12 days is quite a bit and he's got to be Pretty see and to form in writing like condition to ride bikes for that long now, because it does, it is tiring. You do go through that stage
where the first days, okay? Second day, third day is
targeting exhausted, and then you get into some sort of routine after the fourth, or fifth day.
Yeah, keep on going. We're getting sore.
Like, even if I'm just in a car for too long drive and I got a sword, but surely motorbikes worse.
You do, and I fell and broke my coccyx.
Go. Fractured it.
When I was a kid ice skating and and that still hurts every time I ride for more than two hours on a set of a bike, it starts hurting after a couple of hours now.
So you stand, sit, stand, sit sideways.
It just to sort of get that. Yeah.
Weight off the back of the bar. The coccyx bone.
But if you have got any injuries, you should be fine.
You, you end up getting condition to the seat.
It's like riding a push bike. No, yes, stand.
So. Depends how you ride, whether
you use your arms and legs to hold onto the bike when you're right, because the arm should be pretty relaxed and three on the handlebars. So you shouldn't be holding on
tight and fighting the bike. You should let the bike, do what
it needs to do and hold on with you, your feet more.
So, so that way you can control the bike, just just steer it lightly. You don't hold on tight because
you start holding on tight to start fighting the bike, and you start getting tired and all sorts of things start happening.
You start falling. It's a good tip.
Yeah, so I'm cane. Well, we'll look at doing it.
If you can get a few people together, which he likes a group of least, six to eight people, minimum he can take up to 10 to 12. Yeah, group of people, but he
needs to have released a group, we might be able to tag along with another smaller group or something, but then we might, then he'll will be dictated by what days and dates.
We can really go on. Whereas if we have a larger
group, we can say, we want to go at this time.
Yeah, I'm coming. Okay, maybe next year.
Yeah. Oh yeah, absolutely.
That would be great even if we do you know but like the top D1 up the coast or something maybe sort of a bit little bit different rather than, you know, doing the mountains or dirt and rust side. It depends what you want to do.
You can mix it up and do a bit of Coast, a bit of mountains or yeah. Mix it up anyway.
So Maddie, sorry, we went down a little tan.
