drove it was was it was for a mate from his birthday.

My idea. He's like, oh, we're going to

high voltage. I didn't buy some.

I didn't do anything about it. He's like the electric cars on

my calf. Come on, man.

Alright so I went there and I got on and I was like holy crap this is this is this is actually it's quick quick and it's surprising and I'm like now that I know what like electric power engines, just all talk. That's where the Tesla surprised

me so much is because it was just, you know, it's that but X Ur quite a lot more. Yeah.

And we're talking about a two-ton car here.

Yeah. You know like that was that's

what really surprised me that. It felt like a go-kart in a way

that the in the way it accelerated anyway.

Yeah. But yeah, having said that I

think like those high voltage cards.

Apparently, I was talking to the CEO there.

He reckons that they can in the state.

They've got them. Like higher capacity, oh well

damn self. You can get more power, they

restricted. The ones that high voltage here

really for because the strength Australian sort of people are getting used to it. Yeah.

When the state's they've had them for a couple of years now.

So, yeah, I think is bright future for electric carts anyway. I don't see the electric car

industry. Booming anytime soon.

Given we're going to infrastructure.

It's that's the big issue, the infrastructure, you know?

I mean, yes, you can give the Sydney.

Yes, you by thinking it to Queensland but crossing the nullarbor not yet, but having said that there's is going about it, the right way. Yeah, be time.

And like I mean the whole dealer experience, some of them we went to it's what we talked about last week was I've never been in a deal that don't push. They know they're going to get

cells eventually. Yeah they know they're happy

with where they're at and they're developing and the fact that they were just so accommodating and Willing to just let anyone like have a go was fantastic.

Yeah, I thought it was it was really good.

Like, the overall experience they've had is fantastic and I think one of the key things moving forward is that they've got the transparency. You know they tell you this is

what it is and they're not going to push the good experience.

Maybe one day we'll have electric cars such as Tesla it's happening Reese it's happening man you know okay it probably won't be the next 10 years like but I reckon in the next 20 years were going to see a big big change to electric cars Like cock cock, I mean he's gonna be like, yeah, we're going to do it, everyone's just gonna get on board because, I mean, look, there's nothing really to go wrong with them.

They're the two moving Parts. Yes, in the engines.

And, and it Springs been last week, when you were go to the dealership, they got like a chassis version of the, of the car. We drove it.

Just the two murders just suspension.

And that is essentially, it's got that though, you know, holes obviously with the batteries go, but it's just just for a 22-ton kite bloody moves and was so impressive.

Yeah. Yeah, yeah.

So getting on with that transparency, that will talk about before you're coming up with a new Venture.

And it's, and we've discussed this in pretty good detail but it's I'm it's an issue that's happening.

It's a widespread within the car industry, I think.

And I think it needs to be addressed and how we got talking about especially I like that car is open day and stuff.

We both agreed on that you know, dealerships and stuff need to need to have a better point of contact and Transparency needs.

It needs to be there because we're getting kind of mixed mixed feelings. And in one company particular

has got the Monopoly. In terms of selling that car

what? Like, an advertising their cars

and the dealers are getting charged a lot more money.

Yeah. You've come up with I think

probably a really, really good solution to this and if you want to give a give us an explanation would be.

Yeah, that cool Maddie. So over the last 45 years, I've

sort of been, you know, I'm the sort of cargo and the Up of mates that I've got. So I'm really into, you know,

helping my mates out if they are in the market for a new car because I know it's one of those things that you have to go and deal with the car salesman, which there's no trust or transparency in that whole dealership experience is traditionally quite nerve-wracking.

Yes. So to try and solve that I'd

been you know because I've helped them make that every couple of months I'm like well there's got to be a better way.

We got it, we got to be able to enable normal consumers and car buyers with the same sort of level of.

Rinse that off. Got so if there's a way where we

could leverage technology to give them the confidence where they don't feel, you know, like the nerve-racked that the normally get when they're about to visit our dealer about to buy a new car then that would mean we're changing the industry.

We're increasing transparency were allowing people basically empowering people. Yeah so I thought there has to

be a way where I could empower the masses using technology and create transparency in the industry.

And you know just getting on this point is that the fact for non carp People are going to buy cars, they just pushed like get you'll have this one and it's like, no, I don't want this one, I want. Yeah, you know, I'll see about

this one. Like I went onto a deal, Ford

dealership are a few years ago and I was looking to do 60 turbo and they're like, no, you don't want to see those always come back. I'm like, I really, really want

one like know you. His of his, the case of Focus

RS. Sorry estate, take that for a

tactic that for the strong magnet.

I really want to take it and do 60 turbo.

Now, just push, you push, you push for that one for that, you know, for the, for the one color to, I it's more suited to you.

Um, and it's just like, they needed that sale and I think, you know, if I was in the about, quite sure about cars or tell me like, oh, you know, it's brighter, Angela.

I'll buy that one, but, you know, I think, I think touring you've dealt with a few, you know, dealerships and you.

So, you've told me your experiences are a bit.

Yeah. It's, they're not really, like,

as well, not really Dolly 100% honest in what they are trying to sell to you. So like if you go In the to boy,

to boy a car that you've that's what what I do personally is always research. Always research, always look on

the company website as what I want and then I know and then if you go into the into Shore room and you actually go of this or that and if he doesn't know anything straight away, you just walk away because if they'd guys selling your car that doesn't know what's in that car. Just a boy from him at all.

So I mean it's you get you get your good people, that know a lot and they they treat you well and they give you a lot of stuff and They give you a lot of knowledge about the cop, but you also get the people that don't have any clue about it.

So I've had, I've had a had a Toyota Corolla that I bought from a charity show. You mine a Ford Ranger that I

bought from a Ford show. Both of them have had

exceptional customer service but the only issue that I had was when it came to delivery of the car.

First my Toyota was a wrong model that I got.

Ya remember that? Yeah they're literally totally

wrong more like six months. Yeah.

And then I still got a wrong model at the end of his had to wait. Well I told him I look they try

to Check their try to do it, whatever they want.

They try to change the color of the card.

They try to change everything else.

I said no. If I wanted to change the color

of the car, I would have. Got the whole got at the start.

Yeah. So why ask me for it?

So I say no, this is the car I want and this is what I want.

I got I don't care what you do. I want in the next week, that's

it. I've waited too long for it.

It's not my problem that use made a mistake when you put in the order for the cup. Then when I bought my Ford, I

went there, they forgot to do the tinting of the car, the forgot to do the protection of the car.

So I said, look, I think it would have you do I'm going to work at 4:00 in the afternoon. I need this car.

You always got you've called me up and you said the cars.

Ready? Yeah.

To me, if I'll come to your room, I expect everything to be done. Yeah.

Now if I learned have all these things done, what am I going to do? What more do you want me to say?

But about it, I'm just bored. A sixty five thousand dollar car

from you and you can't even do two little things for it.

Yeah, so so yeah. Then I'll talk to my guy, look.

This is what's going to happen. I need a hire car.

Anyways, I need to get back home and, and then they gave me the game. You know how I can and then boy

that afternoon 4:00 Nelson. The guy came and delivered the

car and took the hookah. But yeah.

So they invent eventually they actually made up their promise on that and they they they did deliver it.

It's just make the, it's just yeah, it's like to me.

If you say something you need to do is shred away, not white or not prolong it or forget about it.

I think that's that a big point and with race what we're about to mention just after the break because we're gonna go to a quick break is, you know, is helping Empower people to be able Bike to be able to buy cars, know what they're getting exam having on the have an understanding of.

Okay, this guy's got a good safety writing it and stuff.

And I think what you're doing is, if you can make it look, a One-Stop shop where you can get all that information, it will be so much better than people because people get lazy.

People don't want to search for this age for that.

If you have everything that one spot, they'll know everything about the car. Yeah.

And that's basically what we're trying to do.

We're trying to put it all in one location so the key things that matter to people. Yeah, so we're starting off at

focusing on family cars. So what matters to a family?

Yeah, right. Safety safety.

The boot space practicality, all the rest of it.

The problem is, when you read these long reviews, if you're not a car person, it doesn't, it doesn't mean anything to you.

Even if you watch a video, yes, you can watch the video but at the same time, have you got a checklist that you're taking off that? Yes, it's got a big enough boot

space and stuff. So we're trying to do that.

We're trying to empower people by this using technology that I think personally hasn't been done before.

Yeah, not in Australia. Anyway, and I'm not aware of

anywhere else where they've sort of really On a nice to try and help family car buyers because believe it or not.

SUVs are skyrocketing because that's what all the moms and parents are buying. So if you're going to, if you're

going to tracked, you know, you can give them these options that what you can get, you know, and what would be suitable for your lifestyle. That's right.

It would make a really, really good good tool to have and I'd be really I think once what was Spread spread widely and used, well we all know it's my first video and I really get to a song by one fiea. It sounds good only love, Aussie

Second car talked with many J, just talking during the break of, you know, like obviously with Tyrone's experience some, you know, if you walk into a dealership and then I don't personally know about the car kind of what it what are you doing there? You know and and it makes it

hard to you know wanted to sell a car but to to give the buyer confidence in knowing what they're getting.

And and that confidence is a big issue and a big thing when you want to buy a car and that's that's That's right.

Daddy like we've got the issue where if car people go into a dealership and they don't have any faith liked I said in the salesperson that something something to them because we've had a quick look online and what things are like and this person was selling the product, doesn't know what the product is all about. Then what confidence has, let's

say a mum, got the walking into the dealership so then that's another element of it where you've got women, that are continuously taken advantage of and they go through dealer.

Ships that they hate the experience and they don't want anything to do with it. Yeah.

And, you know, and that's again, it's a whole nother thing, you know, can of worms about like, you know, instantly assuming that all you, they're gonna want to cut like this and, and pushing for the wrong thing, when I want complete some different. Yeah.

And if we could take that away and do it all online, where you can give somebody the confidence and say, we haven't asked you anything apart from your lifestyle and based on that, these are the cars that we recommend to you because they are the cars that are recommended recommended by other People who are in the same sort of Lifestyle, going through, same lifestyle as yourself. Yeah, if you've got two kids

that there's other people that are got two kids.

What cars are they driving? Yeah, and if we can give them,

you know, I want to reviews to give them the confidence that hey, this car is right. This card, you can fit a pram in

the back or you can you know, it's good on fuel.

It's pretty close to what the manufacturer claims.

Yeah. Then, you know, at least that

gives them the confidence that they go well, researched, but do it in a way that people can understand it.

Yes, not hundreds of lines of Specification that people average person doesn't understand.

Look usually the Enthusiast he's going, he's going to read a lot and I don't get a bit for the average person.

I just want to buy a car. They just want to know like

essentially like like five main things like really like your safety fuel economy as you mentioned space.

You know, reliability facts from your warranty warranty.

Yeah, they basically want to know what the five things I want to know what they're getting and if you and if you're you know, if you kind of beating around the bush and eye sockets, How many how many years one of these is our, this one's only three.

I'll have coming down the road, they're doing 45.

Yeah, you know, it's it kind of flies kind of plays on your mind there, if you're getting capped price servicing, if you're getting on, you know, all these other things I want to know, you know, basic things how much is going to roughly cost to maintain? It could even do like an

insurance card as well. Like, you know, like, you know,

a rough estimate of how much insurance is for these cars.

It'll be on, it'll be a really, really good and, you know, and useful tool for these people to have.

Yeah. And and to run it like to

basically See, how much does it cost to run?

Like you said, you know, you could work out quite easily.

If the cost of fuel is a dollar forty on average, and if an average family does 10,000 cases based on the fuel consumption, you can sort of workout. This is the ballpark figure.

Yeah, well, for me, for personally, for I really look for is obviously, you've got your high-end Prestige Cars, like a beam, as a new Mercedes and all that stuff and then you got your average economy cars. What I personally look for is

the right The cost of the car selling the servicing and everything else, because boycott, yeah, I can pay 60 km for 60, grand for a car, but the after part of it is where it gets you and obviously, you can now read the reliability of the car, like a Toyota is going to last way longer than 0 BMW Sorenson because of the parts that they use end and and depends on how you service it as well.

So obviously if you keep it up to date and you take it to a genuine person that, you know, that is reliable.

I'm going to use proper parts. Then you the cars going to last

Just wait longer than any anyone else and it and by having these reviews, it tells people that are.

Yeah, this person is as taking it to the side, a genuine Toyota dealer and the views genuine parts as last a longer.

But this person hasn't taken it to a genuine dealer and it hasn't lasted that long. So it gives them an idea of what

of what parts are. What reliability, the car is be

able to, I guess it's pastand with all the different parts that they use and and like having that that difference between like freaks out. If you have like, let's let's

just say yeah. Corolla, yeah, mess, they sold

billions of them. You know, they'll hit.

You can have, for example, for this one car you can have like 100 reviews and like you know roughly like let's say 90 percent favorable. Yeah, you can read the 10

percent. Okay.

So these are where these cars, usually go wrong.

So I'll have to keep that in mind and it'll be good to you know it's just to have that. You have that knowledge.

Okay. So if they're hardened like

bushes or if they're hard on these things they kind of cost about $200 but I'll get to that. At least it'll be cheaper then.

For example, if if my if my Beemer goes wrong, then I've got it. Then I got to pay a lot more.

Yeah. It's it's interesting if you

look at the the cost like this cap price servicing that's available from a lot of the manufacturers and I believe, don't quote me on this. I believe two other started that

I'm not too sure, I believe they were valid or they were one of the first ones to masley. Advertise it.

And then everybody got on board, including you'd be surprised the likes of BMW and Mercedes. Yeah, they've got they don't

call him cap price servicing because it It doesn't sound as fancy. It's not that the chief, it's

not at that high class level of their customers, but they call it more like service plans, okay?

But it's more like it's rather than it being, you know, Europe, 130 bucks. When you take a Corolla for

Service Plus, any parts on top, they both are basically say you prepay, or you pre buy this. It's like a prepaid plan to the

package. Think.

I think that's what for doing as well, but they don't call it a plan. They call it service promise.

Yeah, I got you guys out, if you go If you go on the internet on the Ford website and you put in your car, make your model and what case it's are done and what service it's going to do, they give it like a promised promised price, then you can add that to the cart and then you can go on and you can if you want anything extra. So like you rotate tires or do a

brake, check or disc machine or something, you can add them on and they're got that like a price, therefore everything.

So you can do that, then you take your book your car and you go and then they'll do exactly what what is said on that shit.

I don't mind that because at least, you know how much you're going to spec Zach. And you're not going to get the

the the global, how much like this is?

Like how did this get started out of this hundred dollars over three thousand dollars? Exactly.

Yeah, that doesn't make sense and it is very interesting as Ty says that they are. Thus the problem is, you've got

some companies calling it a promise, some companies, calling it, a plan, some companies calling it a cat price service, some companies calling it. Something entirely different,

how is an average consumer meant to know what's what?

Yeah, exactly. So, you know, like BMW plan is

its a prepaid. An they're like fifteen hundred

dollars over three years to service.

Let's say an x3. Yeah.

Right. But that doesn't include any of

your parts. Yeah.

So I've heard some stories and I've read some stories online where people have gone in and purchased this Prepaid Plan, paid 1,500 bucks, they draw the next three, the brake discs need to be replaced, they go in, and they get something along the lines of like 8 or $900 to get the front start in eight to nine, hundred dollars to get the Baxter, you know?

And you think about it that way? And you say, well, where is the

transparency in that? Exactly.

Yeah. If somebody knew that there were

going to be charged eight to nine hundred dollars, they would think twice. I've always had this sort of

bone to pick with BMW about sort of running using run-flat tires on everything. Yeah, you know, like, run-flat

tires, something pops. I mean, they've come a lot

cheaper because Mercedes is using lemon juice.

A whole lot of them using it now.

But when they were first came out, you know, you couldn't, you know option you have to use them and people were going over tram tracks and Him every couple of thousand kilometers.

Yeah. And you know and then they

started selling this tire package.

Yeah. Which was like two grand or

something and you were allowed x amount of Replacements but that's high-end. Yeah.

Right. But still I mean aren't I was

being a time when we when he bought the Ranger and I'm like, are you will go kept prices ignite he's like nah is a certain cars only get it so they didn't have it for the ranger wildtrak. The other models, but not for

the world truck is a quick question.

Why not the wild track? Like, I know it's got the 3.2

liter engine in it, so it's the same, it's the same thing.

Same six-cylinder, I believe it five five, five, five cylinder, so same. Same engine as what you find in

other ranges become to do with the Mustang.

They don't offer Mustang and like you know, this these are, these are things that people need to know.

Yeah. Yeah.

So for exactly I would have I would have walked in there expecting. Kept our services.

Exactly. Yeah.

Well, the advertising it. Yeah.

And then, that's what I say. You got to read the really fine

print at the right of the bottom of the screen, but it's sad how they always pull the contract. Exactly.

You know, it's sad. Like, even if you buy the kind,

something doesn't go. Oh right, they pulled the

contract will disclose says that were not liable, but mind.

You look, I'll be honest. I think that's very few dealers

that are giving the rest of the Dealer's a bad name.

Yeah, you know, it's just those experiences that people are having and because you know, we always remember our bad experiences more than 100 experiences so it's you know to give I guess the dealership Community Credit.

A lot of them are doing the right thing.

It's the problem is you've got one company calling it something else and then you got like you said, model, exclusions on cap.

Servicing. And by the time you include

parts and everything on there, it just seems like, you know, you don't know what you're going to get.

Yeah, and I think this is, this is where your, you know, if this once it takes off, it'll be an amazing tool because you say, okay, I'm going to get. You know, for example, if

there's if there's a nice 30 there's like, you know, like let's say, let's say three models that don't know, they're on there. I guess I get the SR.

I get all this stuff and I still has quite by servicing and it's and it's going to cost me this much to run and it's going to be this if I go for It's the lower spec I'm going to get these things but it's going to be the same thing to run.

If I buy, for example, the end, I won't get these things.

But yeah, so it's it's going to really break it down for people.

Yeah. I think that's that's the the

major probably the major solution is that people say, oh yeah it's a Corolla but they don't know what Coral load is.

Looks like if you go to an average person that's does not give a crap about, okay? As long as it takes it from A to

B or whatever you go to that person and go or if he says, I want a crawler he gets a showroom.

Now the deal is going to pull it over will do on the coral.

Sent do in the cola, a sport. You want to Corolla Levin setup

for the SX or whatever. He the guys can not going to

know what what he wants. He's gonna say, I just want a

Corolla. Yeah.

But then he takes it out and then he goes, well, my mates, got this and all this stuff in it, but I've only got all the the lower end model of the lower.

End specs of it because the deal hasn't told in that or explain to him all these different specs into a and in and by having this, this knowledge of of all these different models, like by putting it out of them. By say, all right, this guy is

beautiful. You.

But now these are the models that you can get from it.

It gives the boy a chance to say, oh, I look I could spend an extra number two grand. I can get a bit of a better

model which has got a little more, like, leather seats or compared to a clot site or whatever.

So it gives them a more and more variety of mode choice, to make better decisions than to just go for something.

That's just plain simple. And we'll have them, say okay,

well, if I can budget for this, I think the average the average person on average will average family.

You know, they usually budget for things.

For expenses. So I was like, okay.

Maybe if you say that little bit longer, we'd be able to get the better car. Exactly.

You know. And we know, we know we can get

all this in this package for the full roughly this price.

You know I think that'd that'd be a good option for us because it having a, the higher safety rating or whatever it is.

Yeah and I think as well as like safety took a massive.

Let's go. The number one number one thing,

you know if you're really really worried about safety.

You say okay well I'm not going to get the base model.

I'm going to only get the One, it's got everything in it.

Like, yeah, what an autonomous braking and all that, all that stuff and that's where things sort of need to.

Like, you mentioned budgeting that, like, that's one thing that you need to really look at because budgeting there's so much behind that. Yeah you know like the cost of

ownership comes in registrations, registrations stamp Duty, which I know these days are sort of it's getting getting up there, it's getting ridiculous to be honest and you know like it's all these things which people don't factor in yeah. Plus on top of That if you're

looking at a recommended retail price, that's just the card that's just the car. And that's before, that's before

taxes, you know, delivery. Yeah.

And that's another one that in time.

That's how you get the dealer delivery.

After you purchased the car, a nice girls going to come to you and she going to say, well, I think you need pain protection as well. Yeah.

And you need tinting. Yes, you go through us.

It's going to be about 2,500 bucks.

Yeah, right. Okay.

What is delivery? What is paint protection?

Do I actually need it. Yeah.

What is it for? You know there's actually

charging you to take off the plastic on the seats and stuff though. Like yeah, yeah.

And and it's a cost that don't tell you but it adds up.

Yeah, and look, the other thing that I think some of the listeners might be surprised about.

I mean, they don't make much on selling you the car.

They make their, obviously, their margins are higher on servicing on these add-ons, on these accessories, which is, which is okay. Every business needs to make

money and all that is currently their way of doing it.

But if you tell somebody that, hey, this is what we're doing, this is where we actually make our money.

The problem is a lot of the dealerships or the industry itself is very closed. Or you don't know what happens

behind the doors. Yeah.

Because there's not the hasn't been transparency in the past.

Nobody's really told The consumers are general public and yes many might not even care, which is fine.

Yeah. But at the same time if you tell

them that that's how they operate then you know a better understanding you can be a bit more empathetic or you know understand it a bit better. So I think there's this problems

on both sides. Yeah.

But how we can make it more transparent?

I guess that's the problem we're trying to solve.

Yeah. And I think you know, this is

going to be really, really good tool for like those people that don't know, don't know, all these all these extra costs and all these extra little things going into buying a car to be like, I didn't realize I was thought, I was coming to spend ninety nine, ninety on a Corolla or yeah.

Now that you're telling me, it's going to be 22 on road, I didn't budget for this. I don't know how I'm going to

afford this. I might have to think about it,

you know? And then they'll be on the phone

at the next like week. I look we can well how about a

little bit cheaper but you would be cheaper but you know, they won't the confidence is in there and you what you will lose your confidence as soon as I sell. Okay.

We gotta add this on a good out this on, go down this one, you know, your confidence. I was going to get going.

It's going to Drop and you're going to be like, okay, I didn't realize that all this is going to all these other expenses.

Yeah, you're gonna have a bad experience because um, like well I didn't expect for this to happen and you don't really want that you know, when you buy a car it's a big investment you know exactly regardless if it's a five hundred dollar car of or fifty thousand dollar car. Yeah.

And at the same time in the then there's other factors like paint metallic. Paint is 500 to 1,000 bucks,

more depending on the car. You but transmission.

Some come with free auto as in. Some are only automatically and

not gonna last, they're not going to last.

So you've got both ends of the spectrum.

Like I think like the conventional order these days is just as good. Like, you know, when people to

someone I'll just use an extra six turbos and it is an example, with the zero order, fantastic, it's one of the best Transmissions you can Bye. It's it's used in everything.

The shifts that like the upshifts.

Under high boost and stuff you know and you make you can make a lot more power out of them reliably.

You know it's just I think you know because it's so widespread they used over so many cars that they've got to get the transition right. I mean they used in jazz being

I think I 30m was meant to come out late last year in Australia, okay, but it didn't, it was postponed.

There's only actually, I still haven't seen one like, you know what, I really want to go see what they know what they feel like and look like in a more tactile form while they sound really, really good. So there's a video that popped

out late last year because that head of the ax head of BMW M division, who works for hiring right now.

He was out here, testing the I30 and for strain conditions about.

better. It's probably not as quick as

But it definitely sounds better. It's more the I30 and is more

than to compete against the GDI GDI.

I'd say probably McGann. Like 265 stuff like that.

Yeah Focus has teased that sort of.

Yeah those sort of hot hatches yeah not in the hyper range like we're not with your Golf hours and saw the A45.

Yeah. So but I think because if I

don't know if you know this but the I30 comes it comes it comes in IRS and non Iris like the standard, the standard models, okay? Which is really, really weird

for a small car to have the hot the highest big ones come with IRS because it's more expensive to make and I respected his a lot more expensive but it just defies logic like that is like the one thing I'm just like I'm coming out, I can see why they can cut costs because if they can make the same car Chiba and they say, to be honest with you, I was you Driving like a really, really quick Road and like you're not going to tell the difference not 99.9% of the time which makes sense, but it's just

really weird to know that they offer both IRS and then IRS in the I30. Yeah.

And I think it's so this vid. The N, the sort of pushing the

envelope envelope for that as well because they're saying, well actually we're going to put a better engine in this in terms of performance. Why?

So we're going to give the performance Enthusiast what they've been wanting. Yeah which is a cheaper more

affordable version of GDI GDI. These there's About time you

drop out of the dealerships. Close to 50 Grand.

Yeah, I mean a base model. Judy.

I started about 40 41 42. Yeah.

So Plus on roads you looks like yeah.

You're looking at a lot more. My yeah.

But and by the time your option it up to you know in the color you've been the paint you want and all the rest of it it's getting close to the 50 Grand Mark.

Yeah which you know, is a lot of money for somebody where if you could bring that down to like I don't know, like 30s early 40s.

That means a big difference for even enthusiasts, you know, like somebody wants a hot hatch, they should.

Um, have to sort of remortgage their house and go to another lender and bar. Another 200 Grand pie, this

thing, you know, I mean, the whole point of a heart was supposed to be cheap affordable performance.

And I think, you know, I had to get back on Ford's as you know, I'm not running for the moment but when I want to test drive a nasty, it was 42 on the road like 40 to 50 on the road and I'm like that was cheaper than GDI cheaper than tube than everyone else. And no wonder why you see a lot

of them because because there they were the cheaper option and that's what they should be priced at.

I mean if you're spending 50 Grand on a GED, I always will be When you're old golf up, exactly.

You'd be stupid not to, you know, headlights.

It's that's what it comes to. And that's the funny thing.

I mean, like the fact that you can get a golfer, then, I mean, if you don't care about the warranty, go and get a go go and get a, it doesn't matter. DSG is going to fail regard.

Yes, the market is all SUVs, but the thing is, if you've got, if you've got a dad who takes his son into by up Nissan Pulsar when he's there, he's going to look at the Kashkari or the bigger or the Noir or something else and it might think about buying that or the next six months.

lead or you didn't have the foot in the door because you don't sound pulses anymore. Yeah, it's lost.

So, getting back on the I30, n is going to be fantastic because because they have coats coming with two special, same time, right? They've got the standard at 37

and a half thousand dollars, which is a great entry point, which is exactly. And they've got the performance

package. I think it's about 4,000 was

more 42 and a half on the road on.

I don't know if it's on the road, just the green, just estimated. So and that'll be with

I guess that's what the heck even do.

Like, the ultimate speed that. Yeah, take that car.

Yeah, and that would, that's what they've written your liking. I mean, it's not the quickest

and not the most powerful and loaded with all the tech goes - yeah but it certainly has the ball of depth of character to be more affordable and more engaging to drive than the Golf GTI. Yeah and I think that's a big

point because I'm you know what made the original Golf GTI such a classic is because it was fun and engaging and and they kind of just a nap I sell and we spoke about this, like, a few weeks ago with the, we did a Golf R Focus RS and Civic type-r. Special.

I like yeah compare between the three and we just like you the other like Focus RS and and tighten the Civic Type R.

Like they're really young balls out.

Yeah. You know hyper hatches for but

like while the gulf I was really really good and confident, it's just kind of plain and not all the gods have kind of the same.

But going back to the I30 and I think this car we I'm not sure when it's coming up actually go to Cydia on sale March. 2018,
