We talk all things Mighty Car Mods, why we love them and why we think they are one of the best car shows on the net. We also finally talk about my pet hate, SUV's and why they are so pointless. Was joined by Nathan and James from Man Vs Movies
"my fault. Yeah, yeah, yeah, Range Rovers, Your Land. Cruisers your stuff. Gee, I think the Jeep Jesus, because even the jeep that a clearly made for urban use, yeah, they still look like the old Off-Road Jeeps. Yeah, so I think that's maybe"
"...rk off road. Anyway, he got a call from from from Ranger over after he bought it to do like a full drive d..."

Scott talked with Matty. Jay.
You're on. Yeah.
Back on my opponent was just I mean join us video with Nathan Jones going on guys. Nothing much how.
Yeah. Not too bad.
Not bad. Not bad.
Jean the way it was pretty good. Yeah, pretty good classic
classic, nothing wrong with that.
We'll talk about cult classics last week with our yeah.
With coal cars, all cars are going to talk about a few different things. We're going to talk about Mighty
Car Mods. Yeah, well I was out because I
know I know. We're big fans of Molokai ones.
Yeah, my name is Luke. Please.
Come on the show. Please.
Come on the show. Hashtag money Mook.
Please come as yeah, we should start that.
Don't do it. They will they will have to get
them on the show but also we're going to have We're going to talk about my one of my pet hates SUVs.
Oh yeah. Hey, this is so.
We will dip into them a little bit later in the show, but I'm going to get mad. Well, this is perfect for me.
I can rent. I can rent.
Well, I've got, I've got something to say that those SUVs, those pesky pesky bastards.
But look, we'll get back into Mighty Car.
Mods through those of you, who don't know, what, who Mighty Car Mods are? Or might want Mighty, comments
is mighty. Khan was, is Alien YouTube TV
show, web series web series. They've been out there on their
own Discovery Channel now as well really.
Yep. So they put a lot of their,
their their Builds an hour, which is pretty damn good considering, you know, they're always wanted to always been there. Always done their own thing.
Yeah, one's the one of the reasons they didn't go on normal TVs because they would have to change the way they do things the format's. Yeah and that's it's like good
that they've stayed where they are like where they Because I can do things the way they want to do it.
Exactly. Right.
And because it's always kind of been just Mighty a mooc, yeah.
Like like, obviously, they might as well.
So basically they do mods on cars cars that are pretty easily accessible to most Australians in their mom's driveway.
It was their mom's house. It was um, it was his name, it
was Marty's mom's place. Yeah.
And then but now they've got a garage we've got a garage now because I'm people were like going to Marty's Mom's place or that's, yeah, that's disappointing.
Kind of kind of ruined that kind of run the drive the driveway.
But you know what? And they do mods that you like,
they start off doing mods that you could do on your own or like tips for your car. Yeah.
And then I started doing specials of like, fully modified like tun tun. I like Japanese Imports and now
they have like, on, you know, bigger and began, they're doing like overseas specials and stuff like that.
So, They've come a long way, they've been a long time, they've been ready for the winner.
Monica Monica, besides they were kind of like the niche in the market because there was no other YouTube month car real car Channel. Yeah I know other modification
Channel actually fish time for Australia and you know Money movie just such a lovable characters by.
Yeah that's funny as that I kind of again.
It's not like they're shoot on their phone like it looks nice.
Move does the music cue plays music tastic pretty much every night so I mean it's good, good production.
Quality lot of fun. It's very funny.
It is like for me I don't know much about cars but it's just fun to watch them like lying to each other.
Like like these, like it just making fun of each other.
And they've got characters like drift pig, food, who's like Stig from some Top Gear, but he's a pig is a pig suit and he's a very good drift. That's a lot of fun.
They call the echoing drift Pig. They got flippy.
The the Unicorn just there. They are as you said, James that
there are, there are a lot of fun money money, money a mooc, I've met them a few times. Actually a really nice guy.
You went to the car maintenance, it will do a comment with them and I met him at Auto Salon years ago.
It was like, in geez, we've gone back now 2010.
Yeah. When they, it was like the last
of like the Japanese I'll like, you know, whole Fast and Furious type model. Yeah.
So that's kind of like the ear died, but I'm Matt moneymaker for the first time. I'm actually on YouTube with
them. Believe it or not there, because
James brother. Yeah he got interviewed only was
like you're 10. No way.
Yeah, I was a kid. You don't like though
interviewing in there. Like it's a nice GDI in front of
you. Like I always liked isn't mine?
As it was good that, you know, that they've always been really funny and stuff. So but the best thing about
Monte Carlo which is that they're so big all over the world. Hmm, like they're massive in the
state's. They're massive in Europe.
It's just because their demographic was.
People have kind of Our Own Age. Yeah.
And who have like, you know, had always been had connect crappy cars and like learn to Modern to fix them at.
They got to that next day and I fix it on a budget.
Yeah. And also we've grown up with
YouTube so so so easily to access them.
Exactly. Right.
And it's just like they were, they were kind of like a voice for people for just average people.
Yes. Because usually what usually
when most car shows are like really, really rich people that are like, yeah. Like Top Gear is great.
And it's hilarious and I love it.
I leased the old Top Gear. The new season wasn't too bad.
This is law. Don't say no.
I thought it was better than. Is it going to be country?
Probably going to lose half my pie members, because all you can't beat the original Trio, but I'm this organization was better than their the grand Tours first season.
Yeah. Okay.
There's a great. The gradual that was good.
It was a bit. What was this?
I'm season of Top Gear because I got rid of Chris Evans.
Yeah, it was just like, you know, it was pretty much LeBlanc Harris and and Rory. Reed was fantastic.
It was a really, really good season.
I watched every episode I've thoroughly enjoyed it.
Okay, yeah, but were saying was like it's a lot of fun and I love it but it's like their review supercars.
They do like the you know track runs.
I have celebrities on like it's a different kind of show there is Mighty Car. Mods is like for young you know,
young Australians doing doing up their cars.
Broke, it will broke. Yeah, because I love but it's
got a real sense of humor to it. And it's not like like I said,
it's not it's not shot on a potato, like, it's Very well.
And it stands up with Top Gear like it does.
Like they are like the most popular, you know.
Now one of the top YouTube channels on on the net on YouTube. Like you know, they're I think
they're still top 10 of had that for years.
If even if you look at the earlier stuff like when they were really, really budget budget, they were still put a lot of effort into their into their, you know, production with all the music and everything. So you know massive props to
them because they are they are For me, they're kind of my Idols in, in Australia Norway because they're really, they're one of the reason that's inspired me to be on the radio because like, they really pushed forward. You know, not all car guys are
bad people. You know what?
We're not all who know. Yeah, we do enjoy our cars, and
we fun to be around. So we have somebody in Moog, I'm
going to continue about talking about them because I'm about their new day, new episode, which I, which is super cool.
Like it was freaking amazing. But first, The play that song
Because Moog, Ricky released, like a little, you know, LP for for that as retire because of the car, the Toyota Crest that they had. Yeah, it's from the 80s.
Hmm. So he made like an 80s kind of,
you know, for synth is very simply seriously like we're talking like Mitch murder Kavinsky kind of Cynthia.
Yeah, type, you know, for album for it and it's fantastic.
Like one of the songs that my first on the out, on the bit, I can't play because it got a bit of sweat.
But there are plenty other three their top top songs.
So I'll first of all, play the song I want to play Neon Lights which is which he talks about the Toyota in the actual song, which is pretty cool. So, I'll play that in a second,
right? After this break, we'll see you
on the other side. You back on. 98.9 Northwest
happened. This is Karthik with Matty Jay
that was Moog, with neon, lights featuring Kate Turner.
So big up stassi music because we like to support Aussie music here on on Radio. Anyway, we'll talk about Monte
Carlo, just perform. And you we just heard some some
tracks off Mighty Car Mods, latest LP or moves that laser say latest, you know, not only can he mod cars, he can make music good music, you know, that's how human him a mighty met, right? Because I'm because they're both
like music producers kind of thing.
Like, you know that. Yeah.
And like they they are. Apparently this is how I had a
mate. Like they'll, you know, I got
talking and they walked outside and that, you know, about cars at this, like they didn't know each other like, to back harder this point and they walked outside and like this.
And angles moves, like somebody was like, to me like, is that yours that you're, you know, you Sylvia, it's like any movies, like, and then, we'd like to Marty, or is that your arm?
Whatever it was, he's like, yeah, they just had to talk about cars. So it wasn't about the music is
back ass. It's funny how cars brings
people together because like, you know, like for example and meat and slap you remember, if you don't know people by their names, remember what? Yeah.
Yeah. Car you're the guy with.
Yeah, you're the guy with like this, 15?
Yeah. All you're the guy with the end
of GTs. Well, you remember, they're like
model or their license plate and yeah, call your the Update guy.
It's funny because it's true though it's it's it's weird because like like I don't think there's any other kind of, you know, like professional or like a hobby that that makes people think that way. It's like, it's like with car
people, I just like, oh yeah, for example, like Jeremy Clarkson. Some that a perfectly, it's
like, when Eric Bana came on the show to talk about our me about what's called She's off because I'm like the Beast.
I've got the name rather car the car.
He was like the he was during class was speaking to some other you guys in the studio before everybody came on and and during class was like the guys I've got everybody coming out tonight.
Now, the two of you guys, I got two for bloke like this is straight out like they care about him and blokes.
So it's just funny how That kind of works but yeah Mighty Car Mods will give it back onto them because they release their I guess was a was a 30-minute kind of special like to make a 10-second car and they used. Well, they were to Japan and
they bought a caboose, a perimeter road trip across Japan and it was an old 80's spec Toyota.
Toyota Cresta. Yeah, it's pretty much similar
to like a casino that was here. Like they're kind of like a
luxury rule Drive kind of cars. Anyway they brought it to was
and then like well what are we gonna do it?
Let's make it into a 10-second car.
So they are they did it for like a pretty decent budget as you as I usually do. And they got, they bought, you
know, a written off and accessories, turbo engine out of an event. A written offer of G which falls
from a junkyard. They didn't do any engine worked
too except for like valve springs and a couple other color little things I did. And then they managed to fit in
dropped it in - are on a nine second quarter quarter mile was you just did a saying which is, you know, it just shows how strong those four engines are. But it was just like, it had it
had. It had all the greats in the
social, they had turbo Yoda, they had Benny on the mechanical stick, they call him and like they're all just kind of working on the car and they put like there's a lot of Bahrain which is we're just sick. So it was really good to see
that they're very um you know they've kind of like up their game. Hmm.
Because if this is like a real Like, you know, performance-based, just straight line animal and they and they got there. They beat the commit was a
compare. Yeah, they do.
It was a bumblebee will be on. Yeah.
Like the yellow Camaro, it smashed it take this, I think it was like kind of like a promotional thing for Transformers. Yeah.
But that it wasn't like I think the their idea was.
It wasn't there when we're trying to make a Transformers car, it was just a car. That's more than meets the eye
was the hole. See it was cool to sleep.
Yes, labor. So it's like it wasn't really a
Transformer car didn't come to Optimus Prime year.
I mean, they did put the Transformers logo on the top on top. But other than that, it was just
an unassuming car. That could chop you.
Yeah, pretty much. And, like they're doing a quest
to try and name the car now, and everyone's like make it chop them as Prime. Justin was probably, yes, that's
perfect. The coins like this comment
wins. Like logic a chop.
Those fish. They're not gonna get better
than that. So I thought, well, I think they
should cut the court Optimus Prime like yeah.
I thought I just pissed myself like that.
That's so bloody Works. No, they're not going to get it,
not gonna get anything better but yeah.
I mean it was cool to see because like people be wanting for years like for example me I'll be wanting them to see them do like a bear engine, which is like, you know, like It's pretty much Australia's best engine of all time, Mike.
I've got one, you know, and a lot of people do because that's just super strong. They make massive amounts of
power, but honestly, I didn't expect it to do nine second quarter miles, which is basing mods, like it, okay?
Had a big, massive turbo and was running on ethanol, but just like start pretty much a stock pot amended it ran a nine second part which is pretty crazy. But, um, you know, it was pretty
dope because like they're still in like the velour seats and yeah, be 86. So yeah.
But it was kill. I can't.
Yeah. It's, um, it just mad props to
them because they really did a number on that one.
It's probably the best one yet. Yeah.
That's a good special all that. If you want to, like, watch them
like the spit, all the specials are great.
Yeah, that is special special like five years ago, I was ages ago like a zombie car, I was like a big like four wheel drive like with spikes coming out and all this stuff like they just do fun stuff and then they do like, you know, drift cars and they did a Cuba Special for those call for Fast and Furious 8 and talked about all the Cuban Ingenuity over there.
So that was great. That was a really good.
That was my favorite special of this.
Yeah, they do really cool stuff and they're now, you know, really fun to watch. Yeah, even for me, I like I
don't know what to talk about. I'm like, What's a what's a
valve spring on it? No.
But that didn't know like make a joke about it and then they'll do like make a mistake and then they'll explain it and Yeah, so it's a lot of fun. The best part about them over
the innuendo is it is, is that they make it especially because mooc is always on my knees case. These are oh yeah.
Well what's his uh, like this always laying into each other.
It's so good like muezzin to Marty about one of his ex-girlfriend's who was a bit older than him named Cheryl.
So he says I would sure like this one and you know you get serious with Miley because he wasn't calling what he called him like his food. Yeah.
It's yeah.
I mean we like we like to try have a joke on the show and you know, we've been to each other's cars and you know, talk a lot of crap but pretty much money and who give like kind of been Pioneers for that for like just just like mucking around Having a good time while you're at it and then at the same time, slot.
Yeah. I'll take themselves and they
still have all the technical stuff of course.
But yeah, it's like always it's always fun and then, you know, the music helps as well. It does.
Yeah, as I said, moves crazy. Good with that sort of stuff.
So yeah. But like like, for example, like
anime always make everybody happy like people complaining on with you guys. Should stick the JDM stuff?
Would you put a Ford engine in it for it's in there?
Like that's what. That's what they said.
This is the boring. Yeah, just did the same thing
all over again. I mean, They've been around for
what? Almost probably seven.
Eight years longer than that. Maybe they've been since the
beginning of YouTube 10. Yeah, about that.
So, I mean they've done pretty much all the Japanese import stuff. Yeah.
So it's not in, you know, it's not interesting unless they do different different things. I mean, like, when they did mod
Max for, for the cheese for the Mad Max, but yeah, they put like an LS motor and as 15 and like, Jack the suspension.
Yeah, and it was, you say that. I think so.
That was really, really cool. That was like, one of my
favorite ones. I did.
And everyone's, like, saying, odd cycle is to put a V8 in it and it's, I don't watch this show.
Yeah, I feel like I should now. Yeah.
Sure. Yeah.
It's like sort of, they do all of this sort of stuff, like when they driving these cars, they more toward change spectacularly, they do it in their own sort of private area where they say, don't take them on roads or anything.
Look, a lot of the cars, like the cause of they own, they obviously they doing Street they do like they do street-legal cars and then they're doing insane cars that they do.
They do You to track cars? Yeah, I think.
Yeah. So like so like they've done
they've done a few track cars. They've had it had a bit over
like a battle like of last year between Moog and Marty's tracker and because they both pull complete your crap boxes.
They also are. They also do this thing where
they get a really a bomb, basically, and they just Jack it up and they, you know, put the put the biggest turbo engine, but it's still a piece of crap. It's like, It's like, it's kind
of, like a running joke with them.
It's like, and then they talk it up, like, it's the greatest car ever. And it's like, literally falling
apart. So good.
How much of the show takes place in Mexico bits and pieces?
Yeah, I mean, it helps that they can do track days.
So and like they've gotten a really, really big like, but there weren't a lot of punches through that.
So I can do some of the mods have done.
Yeah, which is which is like being really good like for them on a professional basis but also they've what's good about out.
So what what's the why I keep coming back to Monte Monte Carlo is that they've kept to their they keep to their rooster?
Yeah and they didn't sell out acquiring know and like you know like this show that's on Discovery turbo.
It's just their YouTube show it. They haven't done anything
different. They just like if you want to if
you want to do it with that they've said from day one.
Yeah. Like they keep their not going
to change the way they do not and like they said we don't to do TV because we don't want to change the way we do things.
If you that they said to discover if you want it if you want to search, if you want to have our show we're more than happy to give you a show. It's going to be L show and you
can just use what we've really done.
So like they showed all these specials that showed hello there how to's. And it's you know it's been
really good to see some actual Ozzy people.
Like I told him, I was your cars on there because it's, you know, and considering IG Top Gear was pretty bad and it was.
Yeah. I mean, we always said, we
always said that like, when the guys left Top Gear money moves, should just do it, but it's like that kind of takes away from what they're trying to do. So it's like it's good that they
never they never change their format or anything because that That's what makes them special. And if you know if they had to
do an hour-long TV, show with the sponge like the all the ads and the sponsors, like it will do me the same.
It wouldn't be the same but I guess that's kind of what makes everyone like, Mighty Car Mods? Yeah, they've kind of stuck to
what they've done. Yeah, I like looked at you get
the, you get the you to hate like, for example, for the car, they built yesterday like built, and they post the video up yesterday, they got so much hate for a bit like, but like from people, they always do that because car people get it.
We started. I know there was talk to you.
Be on the show before they're like there are people who are just for people people who are just like holding people just for like 20 people. Yeah.
And it's like why can't you like all cars?
Like we're all you know we all like ours well like different cars like it's silly just to do what you know.
I only this one, only that one. I mean it doesn't make sense for
them. Brand.
Loyalty goes crazy. Yeah.
It's like it's like Expo mean we're talking about during the break like Xbox fan, boys. My PS4 then it's like why can't
you just like both? Yeah, it's it doesn't matter.
What's that? Mexico put up with it.
The first time, the word they'll kick take duster did the Poconos so much love and I love you from the states.
Like how can we have never seen this engine before?
It's like Israelis to Jay-Z has felt like, okay, they got a lot more love than hate, but still, he was just really, really cheap YouTube. The poison?
Well, they're disgusting, like I always, like, find myself scrolling down because I'm like, oh, maybe there's some insightful comments. No, no, there's nothing, it's
it's legit. The pit of Hell.
But for example, like, they, they answered a lot of questions and like people that people put in the comments and that they today, they upload it onto onto onto their until website.
My comments are calm, you know, they answered like, you 30 odd questions of what people have. Like, you know, why choose a
bear engine, why? Do this.
Why do that? Yeah, did the guy have this, why
would you go for this? And they are, is it everything
indirect detail, and they said for for things, but we've missed you ask the questions and we'll answer them for you and that they really in touch with their life, their social media status like that. Yeah, they always Endeavor to
get back to people in there. There's, they're happy to meet
their fans and stuff represent like the both times, I met them like they were just great. You know mu came and checked out
my laser he's like it's a TOD laser.
So is this going like a few years now that there was a MCM meat that they had for in Melbourne.
But you know that they had a last-minute camber me and it was like a massive turnout and it was it was a massive success.
So it just shows like the amount of Love, they get.
Yeah. And it all over the world they
go. They like, you know I mean they
did like when they go to the state they organized lateline late meets Japan, they go to all the.
Mmm didn't do so well known and so well-loved that they kind of the kind of get the respect that they deserve.
Yeah it's like or if they're authentic yes sort of community authenticity. Yeah, if something is authentic
people are going to like it. Exactly.
Ever come across as wooden and like the you don't really care.
Yeah. Like yeah.
And they don't have people like watching them doing like he can't do this thing. You can do that.
It's like they just do whatever they know.
They like they know what their fans want, they know what they want to do. So it's not like they're not
restricted anything like that. Yeah.
And and that's what's the best part about.
And you can tell, you can tell, they haven't sought out because like other words, we doing Lamborghini.
The top, they've always kind of stuck to stuck to just basic cars peep that people can buy and what you can do.
I mean like that they've gone to let them develop some big budget builds. Like are for example super grams
which is like a 12 12 episode series but they detailed every bill every step of that build and that's been that's been Maris manage daily for a while now.
But yeah. And they also use these cars as
daily to so it's like they do them up but it's like their cars, you can drive of, you know, except for that, you know, specials. Special ones.
But what I mean, like the one I did last night, that's just the drag cognac. That like, it's the beautiful
interior and everything but it's Gonna Roll, Okay?
And like when I say their daily is like the actual date, like they drive these to the shop every day.
Yeah. Like it's not like, I started as
like they, they love cars that will they like, they buy cars?
Do them up, and then they drive them in their jaw more life off camera. Yeah.
And then, when they're sick of it, they are.
Let's do another special where we make another car, you know?
It's, you know, that's right. Like I know, like, I've made
some great cars roads. Like Moog, um, he's always been
a minute. Like original Mini go.
So he bought, he bought him. Put him in a from this from
Japan, was one of the last ones. I'm the other one of the last
original Mini has made and, you know, he, if he first will supercharge the original engine and decided that was enough power. So then he put re put a Honda
VTEC B16 here, two minutes and that's his daily drive and it seems like it's stupidly insane, but it's great and you and moves got a sorry, I might as well like, you know, like 11 or 12, s, you know, Liberty wagon. You know, it's, they have fun
and they, and they endanger their cars and it's just, it's really, really good to see and it's for me as a car Enthusiast.
You know, I've seen every one of their episodes.
Not because of not because of, you know, this stuff, but because I support them because they, they are in essence what I and like a lot of us aspire to be, you know, just basic guys.
Having a laugh doing doing stuff.
We enjoy with you that they use their own money like they hear that they never take any money off anything.
They They do everything themselves and they say for you know, for faster to keep funding, this up for us to keep our stuff going, they have like their shop where they sell their merchandise, which is yeah. Like I support like I buy all
the oh, Bailey's music and it's great.
That's what it comes down to it all of the time.
He's having a laugh. Yeah.
If you're watching a show or even something on the TV, like Top Gear, the original topic, you the classic top.
Again, they have a laugh. Yeah, it's like little the
specials are amazing because it It's like they knew each other they have some they're genuinely enjoying it.
That's like you can really tell the difference when someone's like actually enjoying something or having a laugh with their friends. Yeah and when it's fake
represent hundred percent and that's the best part about my comments are like if you watch like one episode of it, you'll be like, okay I get why this show so big and you'll see, well, they've all their arm or their views, like 20 million views on episodes and this is just like a tutu, you know to bog standard as you guys out of Sydney answer here.
It's just crazy. But it's good to see you.
Like, with, with those Tantra complaint tonight, I'll fire off, you know, that the latest Krista build as soon as I put it up online as you know they put on Spotify iTunes and stuff.
It went, it went number one in, like so many countries on iTunes. It was insane.
And I'm just like, what? The talented guy.
Yeah. So it was a big, a big, massive
props to them. So MCM, if you're listening to
us, this is just become an ad firm, Monica has like And you know if they don't come on now, it's just insulting.
We love them into mighty, Moog. I don't like been terrific as
well. Bring turbo Yoda, bring those
Vader. Yeah, the, these are characters
out there and they've got in their show and actually, whether Google real names, but they just called, don't say anymore, their cars as well. Yeah, it's so good.
I like Super G, yes, in program that they had, that they had the blue turd, which is just a great But yeah, their name their latest rs.15 tight. A I fell asleep.
I don't resent it because it's crap that have a laugh and that's the best part about Monte Carlo.
And so Beyonce, if you're interested in just a few gone through YouTube and just bored you're looking Mighty Car Mods and even if you just want to laugh.
Yeah definitely just just the stuff like the stuff I should say just hilarious. Like look at the freezing like
the heart that we running through their Sharon and then they'll stop like they'll have like you and they'll just the musical cutout has been them talking.
Yeah. Yeah, and it's just like the
dirty senior window ever, but it's just like that's actually working on cars a lot. A lot of wink.
Wink nudge nudge, it'll be like, mu can you can you push that in?
I can feel a tip. Exhaust flies.
It's so funny. It's so good.
Well, look, what we're going to do.
Another song by them, this is called Rivals.
This is the third, something on that.
On that little that little mixed layer Moog released.
We'll be right back after this feedback on a nano 37.
This is caught up with Matty. Jay still in the studio with
Nathan and James, James lot, obviously, from a movies.
Are you just listen to previous to me so we'll move on from what accounts will really give enough.
Like enough of a plug tonight. Yeah I know we stroke the ego
enough. I was gonna say like a even at
the our Jin like some something like watch watch watch money, kind words. But backwards jeez, that's a
good move on to SUVs. Now I'm shaking my fist in this
video. I'll show you sure he's ready.
Was it when the guy show we will check our boy.
Shake on a boy SUVs. Look It's just one of these
topics that really pisses me off because you know, the big family sedan and Santa family wagon. I'm just so like old-fashioned
now because SUVs like the in thing and they're beating they've got it's just like this whole Americanized soccer moms car like this be really just brought everywhere.
And like, you know, it's kind of embarrassing that car companies Pride themselves on their SUV range.
I got roundness on a few years ago was saying, oh probably.
Selling the biggest range of SUVs like that's nothing to be proud of their, we the same, they're all SUVs.
What do you need a range like Suburbia, it's a little Beyond necessary. Yes, you've.
He's what you're used to be for off-road property SUVs and then it's like, I guess people realize you could use them as faint, like, for families, instead of having a minivan, or a station wagon or something or a big sedan.
So it's like, then they just became soccer.
Mom cars. Yeah, and you're lucky said, the
American thing. It's like now everyone's got
them. They're all over the road
literally all over like driving like you're right.
It's just kind of annoying. Like they're not necessary and
you don't need one especially if you work in a small supermarket in the local area with the small car park.
Yep. Some of them are a little bit
too big for the yeah. Problems.
When you're trying to get the trolleys front side, I mean look, so I'm away here on Fox. Can I just make a good way Road?
A kid? You not, I saw 12 SUVs parked on
the side of the road in, like, one after the other.
Is it the the cricket pitch at the front of a glimmer of college, okay? I'm so I can turn one by one.
Like exotic joke was coming to a stop to stop, you know, stoplight at their own like is this really necessary?
Like you're freezing. This is my pet hate about about
SUVs. The two big, the too bulky.
The base on you sometimes smaller cars that are just jacked up to give you a higher higher driving height.
They look like crap. They use more fuel than than
than than people think you can't see past them and you're trying to drive around them. You know, they they terrible
handling cars because they They all the whites, you know, above the guarantee, could achieve a that of that I've actually driven is a territory because I drive like a car, but I can see the temperatures pretty much. It's a falcon Wagon on some
steroids. But these are the, the rism,
they just, they just pointless. They've got no off-road
capabilities at all. Yeah, I feel like most people
drive them because it gives them a sense of confidence because you're in this big giant monster truck and it's like, if you get hit or you hit someone it, like it doesn't really Ali matter, there's not going to be a lot of damage to you anyway.
Yeah. So I feel like that's a lot of
people drive it that like that way and then that in turn makes them overconfident and they're all over the road like they're swerving in and out and you can't see out of that think.
So but he had a big and it's like I drive here, you know, every Tuesday and I almost get run off the road every time by an SUV. And that's that's that's not an
exaggeration. It's legit.
It's because It just they drive them like once the trucks.
Yeah. Because you're in this small
residential, are we got, we got quite tight roads around around the studio small roads and the, a lot of people, it's a residential area. So a lot of people park on the
side of the road and so you've only got a small air out and basically one car can fit. And if there's an SUV, you're
screwed, like they'll barrel down there, no matter what like even if you're even if you get in first, they're going to come After you so you kind of just have to Swerve another way.
Yeah, that's the worst part about logic.
When you ask an SUV driver while you will now see SUV that, that's all you wanted to reasons, are because my back hurts putting my kids into the back seat.
Because, but when an SUV, you can just come straight up.
I kid. You not.
This is an answer. I get ya.
So don't have to bend over Bend. Oh yeah.
So it's just, hey, here's an idea.
Don't have kids. If you're going to complain that
you're back already. Oh my God.
I just yeah. The first time I heard that I'm
like I could I should believe what I was hearing.
I'm on my is this legit? I think these guys know I was
like so angry. I'm gonna be angry with like
morning and then the second the same as the give you is, you know, it's safer, one. Know they're not safer.
Use your, SUVs are quite a lot more dangerous to be in.
Then you can just noticed it in. Its like I was saying, people
feel safer because they're higher up there in this monster truck and they can run people off the road.
If you like, they've got that layer of insulation.
I can finesse. Accident.
I'm not going to get hurt. Yeah.
And that gives them that. Yeah.
False confidence in. It's like, it makes them
dangerous drivers. It's complete BS.
To be honest with you and it's, you know, it's it really, I mean, like, they just based off, but like other platforms of just the standard car, for example, so they've just, that's then a car. But worse.
Yeah, they're good. The whole part of a lien that
they're high center of gravity. They're here.
They've got a, I mean the safety.
They've got a high tendency to roll if you go to hell.
Yeah. When Toyota clue these other
issues for years. Yeah.
Like the fries um, like with the elk tests and stuff that they have overseas. I mean like the cluding didn't
fail in that but like, you know, just like the in the quick swerve. You'd be surprised how many SUVs
tip and it's yeah, it's really really see here.
It's a, it's what it is. It's a playing and you can you
get any shopping centers that are any anywhere with SUVs?
And you will see them lined up and it's, and they'll be like one person coming out of it. Yeah.
There's just a judge Pointless. They are the most pointless car
in the world. Also, I work at a local
supermarket, and it hasn't got, we've got only one car park.
It's not a shopping center, so we know all the cows in there.
Are people shopping in the supermarket, or down the strip last year. And so there's no sort of thing
that I we see you coming out of your SUV and it's like, what a mum doing her shopping before she goes to pick the kids up.
They'll just dashing down the street, the car park during the middle of day full of SUVs. Yeah, it's they're just
everywhere and it just feels like there's no reason for it.
Yeah. I mean like I see.
Like one of the reasons like the one of the reasons why the family sedan and family wagons have are pretty much non-existent anymore. I mean, that's what killed the
Falcon a Commodore, really? Yeah.
But like you know, you're getting you're worse off in an SUV. Hmm.
And I mean, two station wagons used to be the family thing to me to me, it falls. Yeah.
And then I guess. Minivans were never that
popular. They'll probably all the states
of. Yeah, that was the soccer mom
car in the state. It's and then I moved your SUVs.
Yeah. And now everything's yours SUVs.
I mean, like they just kind of like a fashion saying.
I mean like, I mean, like look cards in a way our fashion statement for people, but like SUVs are just like, you know, I have like two kids now and I you know like well I have one kid, I need to be uneasy or have a dog and I need to put space in for a dog. I mean this is really they they
piss me off. Like there is no there is no
proper argument for a little bit.
If you're going to get up SUV, get a proper full drive, so yeah. Get it something that you're
going to use a for folks that if you're going to go off-roading, don't piss around with these small and medium SUVs that are just pointless. Like they are, they are, they
are efficiently, they can't go off-road.
Yeah, they they have no purpose and you know to say oh you know I feel safer in my SUV, you don't feel safe interesting because it's quite they do feel safe, they feel so good but they're not. Is it just me?
Because every time I drive in In Twilight, or at night, I get SUVs with high beams. It's is these high beams know
why James is it because they're higher up and they run in Your Vision. Also, when I'm driving during
the daytime, I feel like I see more SUVs with their lights on is that because you newer SUVs have the sensor and it's just going off because it's overcast or is that because SUV drivers are stupid and they always put on there because I swear to God every time I'm driving there's an SUV with their lights on.
Me and it pisses me off. I mean like can't just be me
because it happens too often and there's that.
There's that. Yeah.
Because I have the high center of gravity.
Yeah, this is that you're getting blinded.
You just like, man. Turn your lights down, it's like
it's not even dark out. Relax, it's the whistle worst
thing. I mean, it's just like that.
Then you're not going to say, I never saw you coming.
You like bleep 30 minutes. So it's really pisses me off.
So, SUVs people, you're going to buy an SUV by a proper SUV by, like a large that SUV that has off-roading abilities.
We can't / for we drive that actually legit not one of these two dollar SUVs that I just well then if she SUVs are quite expensive that give you nothing. Yeah.
And they just are a menace on the road.
Really, they just pointless and I've said for years as he was almost pointless car on the road here.
I mean, like the then I get a response with the best.
One is Abit like Ferraris and stuff are impractical a I'm like that's not the point of time. Daily drive though.
It's exactly people drive, SUVs. As daily dryer.
You wouldn't, you wouldn't drive to the shop.
A lot of people do in a Ferrari and they're just dumb.
Like, you're getting in and out of an SUV is like a lot of Heart of that, you've set all my back to put the kids in with you sitting up into a higher and higher cars.
Everything about it is folded like they just there is no logical good explanation about him and that's why SUVs.
Anyway, unless you can have spinners and like get Grill 7-Zip, gold grills and like, listen to rap music.
There's no point. I mean, I guess people like have
the imagination of like having out having a proper like old-school rangy because like the whole SUV sink honor for me.
I think started with like, you know, like issue is a had offering ability. Well yeah, well they'll probably
my fault. Yeah, yeah, yeah, Range Rovers,
Your Land. Cruisers your stuff.
Gee, I think the Jeep Jesus, because even the jeep that a clearly made for urban use, yeah, they still look like the old Off-Road Jeeps. Yeah, so I think that's maybe
why maybe people think it's cool or something.
I don't know that that whole advertising campaigns like you've seen other Jeep user, you're in the club, sort of like, oh yeah, yeah, it's cool to be a jib user.
Like not, not really advertising utility of the car.
Is that school? Yes. 11.
And that probably sold a lot of people.
Yeah, what it is, is, you're onto something and what it is is, it's a I'm doing, I'm a doer.
I'm gonna go take, I'm going to put my kids in the car with my dog and I would put my black in the background.
I want to go. Yeah, loading the ads.
Are always them going like to the beach and like, you know, doing like mad likes kids around the beach and like getting a dog. I would have been together.
Yeah, you'd think this is, this is how cool people, if you want to see how come is, when they sell you, an ATV that also, you can actually be there. So your lifestyle and, and yeah,
that that you look at every single issue.
He likes the Explorer. Unquote.
Exactly what I know that you can explore in it.
That's and that's exactly what every SUV advertising campaign is, are you can get Outdoors, you can, you can do things with an SUV. I mean, you can do things with,
I mean, with a normal car. Anyway, I like, for example, I
would make them on. He's got a, he's got a, he's got
a two dice quarter of a million dollar Range Rover Vogue, it's sick. Yeah, black on black.
You know, it's it's nice and you open the door like this.
The step comes as like that. It's pretty cool.
I don't know. It's like it's uh, but it's
Ball. I mean they are pretty cool but
like this it's got proper an ability like that.
That's why I kind of respect them because I'm like day, she can they? She work off road.
Anyway, he got a call from from from Ranger over after he bought it to do like a full drive day. Like I would you be interested
in coming over and will drive us?
Yeah, I hope so. Okay, we'll just bring you in.
Your car is like, it's like, it's like when you meet me in my car, the like, you gotta bring your car because you were showing you the full drive, her abilities of your car is like, hang on a minute. I just paid a quarter of a
million dollars for a car. It's Of course, a gravel road, a
lot of four-wheel drive tractor. So even people with powerful
jaws on using them, for what they're intended for the glue Tito laughs, we're gonna die. We're going to get to some time,
each murder. We'll be right back after this.
That was Mitch murder with intercept, a good truck.
