Does professional idiot. Drive.
After out. Robin Harley Scotty do Johnson
and The One and Only dr. Allen deep Singh.
How are you gentlemen? Good, good.
No, I'm a little sick, but happy to be here.
They only see what they see in this figure.
The factor got it didn't just get me.
You got caramel, Nathan. You know, I feel a bit better.
We can blame the Julian for that.
Thank you Julian. If you're literally living in a
basement, gets a bit moldy and stuff like that.
Ha ha. Oh yeah, we just moved.
It always been a couple what's in the basement.
So is the basement, your physical home now and I'm like, is this like, your domain of the, of the knew what my bed is in the basement bedroom. But yeah, I like him because of
what it says, a lot. In the rest of the house, being
the basement and the AC is actually independent as well.
So I have to deal with Iran. Turn the heating on and the
system will go here. So, you know, it's kind of the
place to be. Yeah, as we were saying before
the show play in a few flakes but you'll pass on that you'll yeah. Well he's from everybody here on
the shuttle crew. I thought this is pretty good
looking to add to it yet. Just putting it out there.
You know, saying there's a there's an Unwritten code.
Old between brown, boys. Ha ha ha.
I'm saying, like, how are we fellas?
Let's get around the room with some updates with you, what's happening in your space, in the Tesla world, not a lot happening in the Tesla's side of things for me at the moment.
I've got The LDV launch next week so that will be that, that should be interesting. The first electrocute that's up
in Sydney and then the picking up the new entries at us tomorrow for a week or so. So that should be should be
cool. And then Cupra invited me to
their launch of the bone Evie, next month, which is a weird time to have a launch. It's like 14th and 15th of
December. It's in Melbourne somewhere.
They don't know where so that should be interesting.
That's obviously from the Volkswagen group.
But apparently this hatchback we're talking about hot hatches last week with the fiesta no longer there.
This hatch is going to have 500 km of range, okay?
So it has the same size battery pack as my model 3 Performance.
So, not sure, you know, if I want to case is great, but it would be like 70 grand, at least.
Yeah. You know, just with that size of
that battery, so, yeah, it should be interesting, but obviously, I'll keep the crew posted.
Do you reckon it doing in similar to like have Santa Claus drive there? The car out for there for the
unveiling and yeah, because they're going to be plenty of how Ho Hos around for that to happen.
You know I'm saying that's what The West banished like it in kubra world. Oh yeah, I'm not sure why
they're doing that. It's funny because I've just got
a press release now which I'll write an article on for tomorrow that walks wagon ID for a few of them have landed in Australia.
Now another we had time like what what does Volkswagen think they're? They can't sell the golf's
golf's done. Horrible in sales this year, so
I don't know if it's the parts shortage or whatever it is.
Is, but eventually that excuse will get too old and the realize that nobody's really buying their products.
So it's going to be interesting times ahead.
That's all for me. Nice, Robin Harley been a while
since I've had you go. You fellas on, you've been all
over the world. You went to Singapore for the
f1's. How was that?
Tell us about your trip. Tell us about the experience.
And yeah, well, what else is pretty good with some With all three days, the photo Sunday. We had pretty good seats
different turns. And yeah, basically all of the
last people to race the race got delayed a bit because of the rain. And when we say rain, it was
dumping. I've never seen so much rain.
The tropical storm came through for like an hour and then, yeah.
So Jesus pretty good. It's definitely.
How can I say it different setup to what Melvin is in?
That's the gates were Were there a lot more efficient going through the gates, but getting out, was wasn't any better was?
It was shocking. You're getting out was a bit.
Yeah, a lot of people getting out.
Yeah. Back to the MIT stops.
Yeah. So apart from that we've been
coming back a bit and sort of looking at and trying to Tinker with the 380 SEC. Got new headlights on a sec
indicator lights. I'm trying to get a painter for
Christmas time to spray booths available.
So if it again the act together to get that car ready it's been going on for a couple years now. Yep.
Yep, yep. So that I went for a couple
Adventure ride through sort of up through baathist, in New South, Wales up to Port Macquarie.
Sorry what? I found a roads are shopping.
I'm glad I've got an off-road motorcycle to ride on a road.
The Roadster that you see signs, you know, on the road work signs on the back of the back of them says pothole City and stuff like that. The roads are shocking, I've
never seen, so the roads in such a poor State.
That's it. Yeah, it's all the rain to have
had to have had rain for something like, on May 6 months straight, basically, Lee and they just can't fix the potholes. Yeah.
That would be able to do a quick enough.
Mmm. So roads were washed away, two
rivers are flowing Allenwood. No up, that we went up through
up around goulbourne way and and all the rivers are just overflowing up through that area.
It's just is amazing. Yeah, it's, I was up in goulburn
in August and that well, driving towards camera and that Highway that lake or whatever. Is a man-made thing.
I'm not sure what it is, but it didn't look right.
Like, there's that much water up there and obviously our doctors been up there, probably a lot more recently to treat patients.
That is in Canberra, bitch, everyone that is at the parliament is a patient through some sort of mental health issues. But yeah, and I can imagine
it's, but, but you made it, you made it meant that we had to turn around in a couple of them. Blood ways was so deep and
flowing so fast, We have to turn around and go up.
Another way, we done something, a little cheeky.
They had the road closed, but we saw cars coming and going.
So we thought, you know what, we're going to give it a go, and we've got to a section of road, that was washed away.
And We sort of Subaru, if you ever see a Subaru Outback of New South Wales, number plates, don't buy it.
It's the white one too. But I looked as many of them but
I should get the rich a number for you, but never buy that car.
He went flying through this wash way and the car bounced in and bounced out of the wash way, it was really hell.
Yeah. Okay.
Jeez. I'm not going to ride my
motorcycle through that and anyway so for it not look it's a 100 km round-trip get to go back the other way.
So we decided to actually walk it and I found a spot which was wide enough and smooth enough to ride a motorcycle across.
Those only about, I don't know about two feet deep, maybe, and we made it through and kept on going on our way.
But again, like I said, the potholes, the water.
It was just unbelievable. I've never never seen so much
water. Hey, it's funny how we had a
drought for so long and water restrictions.
And now it's just like we just want the rain to stop.
Just it's pouring here. We M actually rode for down the
Oxley highway, it's one of the famous highways in New South Wales. It goes from Walter or Waka down
to Port Macquarie through the mountains and about, I'd say to be at least, 10, or 15 kilometers of that road being worked on because sections have been washed away.
They're trying to reinforce the roadways, all sorts of things and the roads been closed for something like a year.
And they, what they do is they close it from basically Tuesday to Friday. Every week to do works on it.
And it opened up in the evenings.
Later the evenings and open it up for weekends for tourists party. Huh.
Yeah, but it's been going on for quite several months now but again fantastic spot. Awesome scenery.
So, if you want to, if you're ever up that way.
The ox we highways a great Road just on the weekend.
Only though. Yeah, it's called Thunderbolt
way. Is what is an override called
Thunderbolt way? Another great Road.
There goes all the way up to Walter for Walker.
Yeah, up towards Forbes. So we need to get a cars up
there. Somehow.
Yeah, we're gonna have to go for a good for a good driving.
That's pretty much it will receive an event awful.
It was still June July's. It.
April the van and other day that utilizes Jimny.
It's coming June July. Yeah.
Okay. And he said, I think you said
April May for the van for the van.
So we'll see how that goes. And my car, the C63 I took it in
for a service, there's three thousand dollars.
Oh, a nice service. What would you have done?
Let's change the spark plugs. Putting your battery in way,
change the oil change the oil and brake fluid:.
But then I was complaining because before it was your fault, the single form, the engine light would come on, like intermediate and driving. And just basically like a lot of
power and I turn it off. Just started again to be right
with you for a day and then just some of the driving engine.
I will just start flashing and just go solid.
We're cooking for the service ago.
Now there's nothing, we can't find anything, you know, my God.
All right, then yeah, like maybe just a spot barks.
Maybe I call back. There's they told me bad fuel.
Yeah I always say that they told me bad fuel as they took a sample, had a picture you know from but luckily they recommend put BP in your car. I do you put BP over It's all my
last Phillips. All from BP, I could play to BP
ago that they saw me. They gave me a full report this
time is bad fuel and they paid for my spark plugs.
So they got thrown into those back from Bissell.
Wright BPA is the same time. It was like, they're bad fuel,
they cause a spark plugs as what Angela was triggering.
Anyway, those are I for a week? Uh, then they happen again in
July came on, my God. I just saw driving as on my way
to work like you have on the way to work.
I drove it in like I did make a point with you go fix the car.
I just threw the kingdom. They called me an Uber.
And they go. Oh yeah.
You're still in the five. Misfire your core packs going.
Like, I told you that from the start.
Yeah, well II under warranty warranty so I was out of warranty. So the services, any 2007 $90,
great thousands, Robin Holly. I think one thing's for sure.
The Germans clearly don't trust the British, the British, don't trust themselves. That's why they've got a brown
go around the country. And let's just say, nobody,
trusts anyone anymore. Yeah, well, I've never heard of
anybody getting money out of your company, but there you go.
So sir 3000 said, they'll service counter 2700.
So with the rebate, with the BP rebate, we should always be back. It's nice of them.
Anyway, it's good that you didn't have to, I mean it's like to go through the process and send them the reports.
And yeah. So there are important stuff
because like, it didn't happen straight.
After I filled up the in July 1st, triggered that the thing to happen to me, okay? It's weird logo.
I just filled up and like, I'd like, went to work.
I drove home from work. And as I was turning onto the
freeway, the car, like, I just basically died like in power and engine lights are flashing eyes. Like you live mode that like
that that afternoon as I was driving home.
So I thought maybe archive and I got home to the laughs because I didn't talk a full tank, you know.
I just I was at bat maybe just between the about just under a half so that's why I pull up $39 top of back up to full and yeah, now once it servicing img's was cheap but I why it's the statement oils what was full synthetic, probably water Castrol or a My beloved, the oil is nydia Denis have a synthetic oil night but those three magic letters just like the M4 BMW or the s-line for Audi or whatever it is means.
Oh yeah, we will it's a good excuse but it's what's that?
The free free products suppository or is that what they call it? Yeah, he's just a racket up.
Rack it up. Yeah, if you look to the actual
materials and labor in that service is probably no more than four hundred eighty dollars. Worth for any, you know, small
Jacqueline $90. And like I said, that Philip
Philip was $339 or something that says 330 dollars and eighty cents. They gave me back whatever.
Yeah yeah. On top of that you would think
that's like they spent a day on an even at $100 an hour or two hundred dollars an hour. That's the only $1600.
Where do we get the rest of the money from?
Yeah. Oh, they've got up.
Life pay for all the car launches and feed me.
Yeah. So you know I'm saying that's
AA. That's the way it goes.
You know I'm saying this department.
He's not about service. It's about money.
Spinning Center. Got to be just as profitable as
all the other little departments.
I don't like a Mercedes-Benz. Melbourne, was there alone car
that they use Euro Car now. Yeah.
Okay. That I use that.
I think so. Like basically, you could look
at any time and get back in for a service.
Yeah. And get a loan card because I
use Euro cart but they use the Mercedes as your own car so they have like their premium. Like they're see classes, GLA is
a classic bands and then they just go back into the Euro clock. Fleet Fleet at the airport or
wherever we're at Melbourne, the city.
Okay? It dropped off in the leave it
as they need them. Wow.
Because Nia because the car was filthy and disgusting.
The colleague, Amy like what it was like before they used to be really clean and nice top model car.
High-spec This has nothing in it.
The use of dot, basically, bones to stop, you know, I'm blessed and we'll see class of them. And they're all Filthy had like
makeup everywhere. All right, yuck.
I hate sacred disgusting cracks and so yeah, that's yeah, wondering yeah, wait, wait, where's the dealerships?
Like I like still some dealerships to.
Give out the loan color. They buy from Mercedes-Benz
Australia, their own and they've got the details like these.
They give you a nice detailed. Car.
And a good spec car. Yeah.
Yeah, it's interesting. Actually, I didn't expect them
to be, to be to be doing that. But then again, Mercedes the
company's screwed over there dealer.
So they deal to produce a nut. We're going to screw over the
customer, so this is what is this?
Is what's gonna happen? But anyway, it's good to see the
AMG, backfiring on all eight and getting that getting those twin turbos. Good work out.
How many kazon it, Harley 67,000.
Yeah. Yeah.
And what was it on when you bought it 40,000?
Than 27,000 to use, okay? Yeah it's not crazy canes and it
go up in value again to. So now I've just seen a ruby
Rising, a kind of dip the little bit and now they're going back up again. Yeah, good.
Hey yeah. All that old, how you feeling
the servicing in the going up in value sort of evens each other.
Yeah, servicing goes down and the value next time.
I'm at now the warranties out. I think our next time we get
service like that EMS over at the other side of town.
Yeah, just going to put it in ya in Attendant, get some sort of someone that specializes in moocs shooting and stuff off.
And that's and that's exactly why everyone does that.
You know, it's dealerships are always wanting to keep people in the network and it's like yeah when you when you're walking out that you're not on some sort of corporate plan soon as the warranties out. That's why everyone discoveries
for the nearest Specialists and herbs Hills because even last time, the brakes Mercedes quite a B7, a half branded, little breaks. Then EMS quoted me five,
something. And we don't have a home for
three grand. And I did this this steal.
My God. It now but they wanted seven
gratitude, but just rotors and pads.
Yeah. Well, front of yet.
Rotors and pads for fun. Unreal.
Yeah. What are they made of gold?
Yeah now. Yeah.
And then like get in a mess. Sounds like 524 like labor and
like the voters pads and stuff and I've all original brembos and everything for you that 29 something?
Yeah, the the parts. Aren't cheap but seven G's.
I mean who's doing who's happily doing that?
It's just another just trying to mitigate it.
Yeah. Yeah, sometimes like my mum's,
the heiress things got, you know, a five-year cap price servicing and it's $298 of it. $200 cap price for five years.
And you're like, why wouldn't you go to the dealer for that?
Yeah, but yeah, sometimes it's surprising.
I remember years ago, I probably said this.
In this podcast, there was a, I had a Mercedes-Benz 190e, you know, little baby bends and it was a factory manual, Ozzy delivered Factory menu, which is quite rare.
And the the gear shift boot had split and I went to Barn and super cheap and did all that thing.
You're going to get a gear shift.
Boot that fits Mercedes want to be really pricey and nothing fitted and it was $70 hundred dollars in I don't know whatever it was in the end I just thought I'm just going to bring Mercedes you know which I should have done right from the get-go. 20
bucks brand-new Factory part, 20 bucks and I was like because obviously they wouldn't sell many of them because they were hardly any manuals and so I thought why didn't I just do that at the start? Sometimes it's surprising
Insight that the Saudis were good.
Only have that they are. These days in stocking paths and
making parts available for quite some time.
So if some of those minor Parts fail, you can strap to the counter on that, I'll have it over the Shelf nine times.
Yeah. So now I mean, I'd always prefer
to go genuine with anything so now I always try that.
First go. All right, how much is Ben's
going to sting me? What's online?
What's on eBay? You know, and you kind of then
make an educated decision on it. But Yeah, fun and games.
I just got like 7 grand for breaks.
That's that's I mean someone was telling you the other day, maybe. Sorry.
To interrupt you. There was a, who was it?
It was an S600. Someone was telling me about
which you know, Ben's V12 that had year, full set of brakes and Ceramics or something, something something and it was like 40 Grand or something insane and they couldn't work out what the car was so cheap. And it was because it needed
Brakes and it was the bill. You know you can do it just like
that that it almost writes off the car.
You know, when it gets to a certain age just like, I'm done.
I'm out. Yeah, that's just a Supercar.
I like some sort of super cars like the Ferraris.
A lot of put that there put our 35 break some because they take the covers off and put the stool.
Yeah, I'll drive around on that. Then when I sell it, I'll put
these back on it. Like, I mean, it negates the
point of having them, The first place.
It's all just Madness. Well, they only do sometimes of
everybody. Welcome to the show.
It all right. Sorry.
I was like, sorry. It's okay.
We'll continue with Scott, the famous Scotty do.
As you knees now? No.
No, that's right. Because he had a grouping,
recognize him from the podcast. Yeah, that's right.
I'm super famous though. I've changed my name to the
famous, Scotty do now. I believe it was Justice.
James Billingsley that message, dude.
Yeah, there you go. He knows your name or Your voice
that how did it come about school?
Just my name was what I was talking about just in the chat talking about posting my God. It started with the group chat
mine and then question popped up about the wheels and that kind of stuff. And it's like I recognize these
them be like from where I do I wear and then it popped up.
Podcast Car Talk with Mary Jason famous unscear, I've never been no one's ever recognize me. You take that back, Reed was
like oh yeah I recognize your voice.
I never he knew I was on the planet.
He just when I rang him he's like I know that voice, but it wasn't like a stranger. That was someone, you know, you
know, it's true. Famous r31.
Now you are, you're very very it's a very human, probably, the most famous study, what it all of Australia, let's be honest, what have I been doing? I my wheels.
Now, the front wheels, they do not need a spacer anymore.
They see nicely they don't rub anymore.
Very nice and clean and done properly.
Thanks to having my dad, gave me a hand with that too.
So awesome. I appreciate that.
And the wheel will be getting welded and fixed like this week.
That knows a guy that's used to be fitter and Turner and does a lot of that stuff. So fantastic with welding, get
that bit patched up just in the little corner on the room and it should be. So wheat, it is not in an
already, got it checked, it's not in an area where you know, where it's dangerous or anything like that.
So I made sure it was going to be safe to drive on or else.
I would have just scrapped them but It is all good.
That's pretty much a crack. You can't even see a hairline
crack. They would call them.
Yeah, once it's got a bit of weld there nicely.
I can rub it back and smooth it out and you wouldn't even know.
Oh, yeah, the other thing that I learnt.
So I've got a new throttle position sensor in the 31.
I just, you know, got that. Put that in through it in and
that's, that's it. I did not know that they needed
to be calibrated. Hmm and said, It up properly.
How do you do that? You got it.
It's you gotta like make sure when you take one out you to put the next one in exactly the same way otherwise it can be a bit off. Yeah well that's what was so
intriguing with this one like I was reading up a little bit and sometimes it can hold Gear special if it's an order and it won't drop into the next gear and hold it.
And that's what mine was doing beforehand.
So, I think maybe that one was already on the way out.
Anyway, so replacing, it was a good thing to do.
It doesn't look, it looks more like It looks a little bit annoying to do because it's you got to keep going through the process. So adjust it a little bit and if
it sounds, alright, take it out for a drive.
Come back. Not like the newer ones where
you can just hook up a computer to it and reset it.
And set up that way, this is fairly old school and supposedly some bit more fiddly with an auto as well, which doesn't bother me too much because I've got the manual transmission ready to go. Anyway, yea but yeah, I'll just
have to fiddle with that. I mean, it starts up and Idols,
perfect. But I'll get that adjusted
properly and then I can fix the, the adjustment screw on the back property as well because that's been filler around a bit in the past by me. So, yeah, I should be able to do
what I've done a bit of reading and got a bit of a better idea on what I can do and what to listen out for as well.
Because supposedly, it makes a double click with the injectors in 31. So here that double click and
then, you know, the AAC valves. Yeah, I think it's AC V kicks in
and takes over the idling properly so I'll have to do that here. I think that's it for now.
Nice got it. I'm going to just remind you 19
days. Thank you that that's actually
not a lot. Nah, it's way too close.
So what's left to go? Scotty internet now Robin Holly
you like look awarded What's 19 days to class and Japan?
This is Japan. Now, I know you guys aren't big
on your Japanese cars necessarily but this is big day for Scotty into the day. Boobs.
Like a different wall for the update one.
It's, you know, coming into society?
Yeah. Because he missed last year
because it was Bloody rooted. And now it's closed again.
I don't think it was on last year.
Oh, no. Maybe it wasn't on.
I think it was canceled classic, not Japan, right?
Down version and that was last year.
Yeah, that's right. Fantastic or something?
Yeah, thanks robe. Yeah.
Really nice. Sorry, I'll, he's going to be in
a jet car. Next, I'll tell you, if those
bills, he's going to fire fitting, he's gonna love it.
Very good. Good, very good.
Well, it's good that it is much left to go on that 31 before.
You can take it in to get, get it.
Oh, as I said, was asking it what's next?
Some more suspension bits and pieces, just some bushes and I will I've got some steering rack boots as well because it's split, okay. Is that it once that stuff's
done and they won't be happy with it being split so I better fix it. Yeah, look II.
Reckon it is. You know some of the other stuff
that they're talking about that needs to be done.
Reckon. That's a load of hogwash.
We're going to go back. You go to a different Roadie
place. Oh yeah 100%.
Yeah. My going back to them.
Never be just stupid. Do you know probably not untwist
my seatbelt and just going on their seatbelts Twisted, take it to is one. He will look.
Yeah yeah bring it over this side of town will sort it out.
Mr. Allen do seeing now that you're in the new digs, we're I
haven't seen this MX-5 on the road.
Yet, which was what was meant to be happening.
It's been on the road is just been playing second.
Fiddle to Mr. D. Max, somebody makes me my dad's
car. I'd probably give it the
majority of its case at this point.
Like, when we got access to the car and said 3,000 cases, you'll have your first piece of mind. So for the chicken meat, when
should we book that for one? I thought, well, we're gonna do
any case, so maybe the end of January or something nearly at 3000 already. It has just been the Workhorse.
You know, just pick up things between Brokers, we've been moving for three weeks straight because my dad decided he wasn't going to enlist the help of some movers and is ready to make his family, do all the work. And when you live in a house of
14 years, which is long as we lived anywhere, forget consecutively, you accumulate a lot of stuff, a lot of stuff that when you're about to throw it away, you think I might come in handy and then 14 years later, you think it never came in handy. I should I throw it away?
Yeah, so just bring Ya Back and Forth with the next movie.
Everything did take a little short break went to bend steel with good friends, Nathan count, when Christian what is it Julian? That's where you got me sick
last week. But yeah, did not miss a beat on
the road there and all the way back.
This is quite nice being in your higher power and having a bit of view of the road and everything else.
Well I I stayed above the limit. If anything I literally, of
course, You know, I was not slowing it down.
I wasn't pulling a trailer there.
I haven't heard from her since using the D-Max, but that's a separate issue on that. Same all Drive map is.
He's a changed man. Just I really felt that
tyrolean. As you know, mean up a little
bit to the road we're gonna tell getting people from getting out of the way and stuff. They'll some to, it know
something to I thoroughly. So yeah, definitely working the
D-Max. And it's been heavily choking
chugging along. Getting reasonable people
mileage. I think we're doing about eight
and a half litres per 100 case, but given the price of diesel, it's not very nice. Anyway, I want to say file
later. There could be worse, though.
So, that's going pretty solid to the STi for a driver out today, because battery seem like I was gonna die.
Yes, it's time for a quick rinse.
The local car wash. And just yeah, quick spin around
as well. Change out the battery.
The a mix of unfortunately has been missing some long.
It'll get there get there, but yeah.
Haha not just I'm just been doing state of things here.
Moving that's been made easy thing and now getting sick.
So hopefully that'll be good but he's looking forward to Classic Japan this time you know with with more Japanese Kappa.
I'm actually Str as much as I like to bring the MX-5 again and then see your scars are 31. Finally makes its debut.
I don't know. I feel like DS child is over the
desert home. Yeah.
Maybe we'll do one classic Dodge pan or not classic spam.
That's what we sa are the classic Japan.
I'll bring the MX-5 because we should definitely have our own cattle boards. Absolutely.
That that was always in the works.
Yeah, that's about all for me. I think if there is anything
that you guys know, mr. Bunting Overseas.
You know, there was a bit of a lull there and then now I've kind of wrapped up. So I've been in a bit of a
selling mood, I sold regretfully because it was a lovely car.
The Mercedes Benz 230 E. So that has gone to a new home,
which part pays for the aforementioned muck that I bought a couple of months back. So that was yeah, regretful.
But my thinking was, you know, three mercs from the 80s.
They all do kind of the same thing.
The mokes Totally different. Which one do you part with?
I do. I'll never part with the 300
Coupe. And the 230 E was more classic
than 190 diesel. But here is also worth more
money than the 190 Diesel. And I went well, I like the sort
of like having that little diesel, like the 5-cylinder, it's a better drive than the 2:30 and I thought, well, it's not worth as much. Yeah, that worked the same.
It would have been a tougher decision, but I sort of thought the one that's going to give me the bang for the buck in the bank, is probably the 2:30. And that's the way that went The
guy that bought his never had a classic before and I said, well if you're if you're kicking off in the world of Classics, it's a pretty good base to start with because they're a tough car, not much goes wrong with them and that is a really good one.
So I was sort of comfortable selling to someone who's not a car person in that in that. It shouldn't give them too much
drama. That was that?
I also offloaded the Renault and thank you too.
Matthew of coming with me my brother because there were three 1016. Is my brother had one of mine on
loan? Super extended loan up?
In the country. So we ran up on Cut day and
grabbed it, brought it back to Melbourne, which, with a car that hasn't been driven any distance for a couple of years, is always a bit sketchy. But, you know, he did run and
drive it but not crazily often. So I get in it, of course.
And, you know, thing it down the freeway and it was as we discovered leaking quite a bit of oil and Maddox.
You texted me when we got home and set up, you might want to check the oil in that Renault because most of it has leaked out in his spray because it was raining, the whole trip home, it is You know, with the water onto his windscreen.
So he had like a rainbow windscreen going on and I did figure that because I drove down my street and parked it and walk back up the street to go in the front door and I saw all these rainbow splotches on the road at very regular intervals.
And I thought this thing is really pissing out oil.
It was hemorrhaging hemorrhaging mile, so I had to look at it afterwards and it hadn't gone through an entire Summers Worth or anything. It's sort of looked worse than
it was. I think it's a timing case seal.
Lie. But it just, you know, once that
goes it just sort of praised it everywhere and yeah, it's messy.
So I topped it up and I did tell the new owner look it's got an oil leak. So I sold that last weekend and
that I dropped it off on Monday to or Tuesday. 2:00 a.m. no
taste. You said Monday to the Depo.
Open our toner, it's going off South Australia.
So the guys got a collection of old red nose.
And yeah, that that was a good quick sale.
So two cars down what's next to sell I've got a fool.
Bobby sort of camper trailer e thing that's going to go all in the aid of sort of putting funds back to where the Moke lift very big hole. What else have I done?
I picked up last night with the help of David.
Who's often on this podcast, a Honda Civic 2001 VI hatch which is japanese-built, frumpy little Civic hatch, the sedan version was tie, built lovely. Little car white books to Keys.
72,000 K very tired. D.
So that will be part of my, you know, buy and sell dealership stock, but that'll be a great car for someone at.
You know, hasn't been driven for a couple of years and you pump the tires up and check a battery in it and second kick over.
Bang just Idols perfectly. The are cons.
I scold you like yep. That's what we like about these.
They just were so that's in stock.
The Barina has been getting some love.
That's had a new windscreen. New wiper blades to new rear.
Tires. I dropped off a new battery for
it this morning. So touchwood tomorrow that will
have a roadworthy it's certainly going to get looked at and then I can go read, do that. And think about selling that I
could be good for you hardly a little bit 2000 Barina.
Just daily breaks is so cheap for that.
I think the tires are paid 30 bucks each for them.
I think the car is cheaper than one service of AMG did last service. Yeah, in perspective, doesn't
it? And and just don't just sound
that this sales frenzy that you're on edge.
Yeah. What inspired you overseas to
make you want to just go and sell settled cell.
It's not what happened overseas wrong about.
It's what happened before? I could foresee in that, I
bought that Mark which is no longer a cheap car and so I thought right? You got to rationalize a bit
here. What's what's going to go?
What's going to go? And I thought, okay, if I sell
one of the mercs by cell that Renault even though that's not worth a lot of money, You know, it was for four grand for the Renault and then if I sell this camper trailer looking for a few grand, then you go. All right.
It kind of more than half covers the Moke and that's when I can live with it before that. I was like, I can't live with
this is too much. Yeah, so that has been the car
trajectory the Moke. Let's just finish off on that.
It now has rear brakes. It now has a working, clutch the
front brakes, it's a dual circuit system.
I cannot get any fluid to come through to the front, you know?
No bleed nipple things on the front brakes.
And the only thing I can think of is there's a blockage somewhere or perhaps the flexible lines of collapsed with the set for so long and it is just no fluid getting through them, you know, because that that can happen.
So I did with not very good rear brakes in a handbrake.
I was so tempted on the week is the Sun was shining.
I thought, all I really want to drive it up the street and just see how right away. So I knew I shouldn't drive it,
but I thought I'll just I'll just be You know, you can see everything around you in a mo please, no one spots.
I crawled up the street and first gear and was like, why it might have Feels Alright and clutched his working and and I booted into second and a bit of third and a bit of forth and thankfully, I was going uphill. So then I just sort of handbrake
my way to a stop and a very tentative turn around.
And then I was like, ah, shit downhill on the life.
And now I left it in first gear and just crawl down the hills of on the handbrake and winter, I'd it works.
And then I was brave enough to drive around to the servo.
Just literally a few hundred meters around the corner and that's pretty flat. So I crawled around to the
server and pump up the tires and then crawled it back home again.
And then I thought, no, that's enough.
You've avoided crashing. Let's not drive till it has
actual breaks. Yeah.
But it was fun and it was good to see that the gears engage in the clutch works. And the motor felt pepper, you
know, it felt like it was tuned, well, and I had some had some kick to it, so we're very close to happening.
Think that to me? Yeah.
I think I think that's it. Very good.
I had the laser whitewash the laser because it was just covered in oil. I'm so sorry.
I should bring it around. I should have watched it.
It's some still trying to get it off.
Like I've got I got on and I looked at it the online, there's still oil on it, like it's just it, got it got everywhere.
Oh no. Don't you know, on the body.
Where is it? The whole body was covered.
I don't think that you realize how much all he was looking out of that car really bad so so yeah, I surely a property.
Detergent Car, Wash would get that off.
I thought so too, and I thought so too and it's still there.
Still bits on it. So it's most of its come off.
As just lie around, bring around, I'll take care of it, bring around its a how it's serviced and had the rear brakes so that the hand brake adjusted because it was a had had on the last service. New new hand brake cables put
in, but obviously they had to wear in a little bit, so they're taller. Just it will really good.
Now one last thing to do it. That was That's virtually all
the needed, it's up. It's a pretty mechanically good
car now out. So so that was that was pretty,
been, pretty much. All I've had to do on my car
updates for not B on the LTD know.
But until today, they've got its dropping.
It currently is really enjoying it.
Actually he's like he's like it's too fantastic arm.
Like it is a good car and I want someone to buy it.
Is he now so, is he still in it now?
Yep, the his Mercedes. So I want to pick up Mercedes
tonight, and if he class, Got to see C250 timing chain has stretched and then expensive fix.
So he's waiting for that to be to come by.
You should have a back way into the week.
So no, he's enjoying the old city as long as I could.
It's like it's actually not too bad.
I'm like, yeah, isn't too bad so it's quite funny to see.
Another person's perspective, whose only had like kind of luxury cars and things and it's funny because you will having a laugh because use He said, he owned, he owned an alfa 75 and he's like similar vintage to the to the LTD.
And he's like, I was expecting the LCD to be like Italian in terms of unreliable horrible actress.
But he's like everything works. The the car actually drives
really well and it hasn't left him stranded like every second day, so he's been, he's been been quite happy with that.
I'm like, yeah, well by he's like no, so solder.
But anyway, moving on gentlemen, because I'm out of car.
Dates for this week. We are getting back into car of
the week. We haven't done a Sunday keep
backing off so I thought we'd bring it through.
Bring a car of the week back. We're going to get to cryptic.
Scotty lighter just right after this.
So car of the week where we find a car for ten thousand dollar reduce and try and compete to see who has the best one now Rizzi, Ross has kindly sent the first one through.
I don't know if you saw it in the chat, guys, but you also can share your screen. As you go through it.
Now we all vote at the end who's got the best one and, and they take the cake for will get the time.
I should say, get the chocolates for the, for the bragging rights of, who's got the best vehicle for for this week.
So really Ross, you can share your screen, you can tell us about your magnificent vehicle which I had a good look at.
All right, let's see. I've got about 30 screens open.
I think this will work so we have 90 90 Daihatsu Mira mainly raised, things raised. I love okay?
Cause you know I'm saying, there's just not many of them around and I kick myself every time I see one of these little or any take our that's still on the road because I'm like I should have one of those. So anyway, that's this one is in
red. It seems to be in relatively
good Nick apart from. I don't know what the hell's
going on there. The front quarter.
It's clearly had some patch work done of some sort but obviously looks like the tires are in good.
Good tread the wheels are you know I don't know what they are the gold. Yeah I think yeah these the set
of fours are cheaper than a Mercedes service.
Well, the car is nearly duties. It is that wood paneling in the
back. The back of it, that's amazing.
That's what's going on there. It's obviously authentic,
authentic Timber directly from the hills of Hiroshima.
I was thinking is straight from his kitchen, which is it hiroshima's makes sense. It looks like like a bomb has
gone off in there and it's you can see.
I don't know what's Going on with the interior here.
It's gonna carpet. And it's got things.
Dangling off the wires, the accelerator pedal, seems to be there. I can't see a break one, but
maybe it's this bit through the steering wheel.
I don't know if Squadron today that clutch.
Pedal is very far to the left. Yeah.
And I think yeah the the gear lever of no idea what's going on there, either. But it seems to be all there.
There's obviously more wood. I just noticed that then the
wood paneling or cash and really is this thing.
It's for Grand. I don't know if it's been
restrain, it looks pretty good but then also it's done what 95,000 case. So yeah, it's so read the
description my friend. So you tend to have a fair bit
of work done this thing. So it's a naughty naughty,
Daihatsu Mira 4 grand in any causes the Franken mirror.
Now, apparently, the list of work done last year, oil air filters, driveshafts, LED headlights.
I don't know why you need LED headlights.
When you can't really get proper panels for the kids, out of the car, new wiper blades front in front engine mounts, obviously the power and outputs through the cracks.
The ones that it's currently got snot.
And yeah, it's got a new toy or tires and nano energy.
Now, this is how finely tuned this car is.
It's got nanotechnology and it. Yeah and yeah, four grand for is
dude. You know, you want to caker.
I honestly reckon you should go and look at this thing argue.
That thing's sick. I think it's a good thing is,
I've got robbed. ABS tips on heading up to New
South Wales. Yeah, and the kind of pot holes
and things that you may find up there.
I reckon this is yeah, pretty cool little car.
I like it. I really like the Argonauts, the
32 electric, it was to let you know Robin.
How are you sent me there? There one, I'll share my screen.
You know guys. Do you want to go through it?
And as we as I explained research summaries coming eventually Why we chose this car convertible summer?
It's an M sport back. It's a BMW.
It's the next best thing to an M car.
It's a six-cylinder 330ci. Well, five grand.
I mean, really, what can go wrong with a BMW?
So this is a BMW 3-Series 330ci. Now, Harley correct me if I'm
wrong. You had one of these.
I have a hideous. Need are some wine.
For like nine and a half ten. Yeah, yeah, it's very, very
unreliable car. It's great.
Look, you know, just because, you know, the suspension guys, let's go wailing system, where the drive shaft and now, if you are clean, was just general maintenance, really the fuel gauge didn't work and the guy called me, I guess.
Brother, these cars broken. They go.
You put fuel in it. Yes.
Well, let me check and that feeling, then you have to come back again. Apart from that.
All right. They are a great car to drive
when they go, where they work, where they work and Adrian.
He's got a lot of experience with these tasks.
So, you know, we've got support there and I've got a bit of experience working on them as well.
So I think we're gonna keep it in, for our next.
Yeah, it's only got a quarter of a million kilometers on it.
It's going to talk about it. So jet ski, I was going to see
is wasn't looking was it like one of those ones that you press a button it and it like you know shoots all right I think it does it say Your, it looks like a euros and begged over there.
Yeah, it is. Look at that.
That is Edward. That's a rare option.
You want a solid back in the day.
Absolutely. So if you respect obey, here
might be a, might be not an Aussie delivered car, maybe not but doesn't matter. This is it.
So, let's see what they say, convertible E46 selling as is best of honor and the original Road when he runs well, Angela, you must enjoy working on something as a system, my garage not driven any more body and and interior has many smart small scratches Small dense as you expect for conversation.
Great run about Carlo, all we could do good project to restore, mtech body kit sport seats, three spokes leather steering wheel sport, suspension Etc.
Also has tow bar fitted and two hundred, sixty two thousand kilometers and it's looks to be lower than that is very low.
However, you know, it doesn't matter low and slow as we always say and it looks to be in somewhat, okay?
And one p. She's got the roof up, so, and
one piece of the roof down. So we assume that the roof
actually works is inside, you know, I kind of like this, actually, it's not too bad. It, I mean, it wouldn't convince
me to buy a 2 by 1, but if I had to buy any, 46, and probably by that because from every, a 42-6 is do Drive quite well.
I mean, Scotty and would have driven him, Holly you've ever there are, no, I see, you know, they're sensitive to like Castor Rod bushes and that sort of thing.
But if all that Dad are it. They handle as well as any BMW,
not a big deal triangle as Bush's.
I've done it myself. Yeah.
Not if you count a few BMWs and sold pretty easy work.
All right. John, well, I'll get onto my
car. Now of a, some reason become
attracted to these and I don't know why it's not a hole in Cruise, which was correctly in your, not be the same car as mind that. No, my car is a 1999.
Jeep Cherokee sport. Oh God, It's not the same as
mine. Okay, good.
Now I've got a hankering to become a full drive person.
I don't know why. However, I'm really liking XJ
Jeeps because they're quite a rugged, reliable point.
The only reliable cheap that you'll buy their.
The four leaders are proven straight-6 engine.
They're quite simple mechanically, but they're actually very good from what I've heard.
I mean, Rob your the Jeep guy that X JZ Z, pretty good, right?
Yeah, look. I've I swear by And all the ones
will have had three of them over the years.
And I've never had any major problems.
The hydraulic struts on the tailgate, go on him.
It's mine. But apart from that, I've never
had any problems with them. So this one is a really tiny
example. Basically, it says five thousand
eight hundred dollars, which is a lot of car for the money.
Well, it says it's selling as I switch to smaller 164,000 case, which is good case for its age comes with a full size.
Service history and low km cut will come with Reggio told next year. I think that's a cracking by.
I reckon that is definitely very, very quick.
It looks very straight in the paint and in the body.
I mean, yeah, it's a, it's a, it's an old car, but it actually looks interior-wise, looks really good.
I mean, the letter stereo leaving looks epic, like, it looks in re. So this looks like a really good
example, of a car that I could take to possibly Fraser Island at the crazy car. Where's the car?
I think that'd make a great Fraser Fraser Island car.
It's the, the design. Of this car is just an SUV
version of the LTD. It is because it's got the
lines, also greater lines but it's it does.
What it says it's going to do, you know I'm saying, it'll take you, take you off, roading, take you through New South Wales where, you know, Rob's romp seeds and all the way up to phrase and Robbie Island. Yep, hundred percent.
I think this is, this is the car to do it.
So that is my vehicle. A gentleman and I've got a bit
different. I usually go for like let me
sporty, but this is, this is a sports car.
It is is a Jeep Cherokee sport, so forth, utility vehicle sport, utility vehicle. In the meantime would you share
one ready? I'm assuming there's a car
waiting. It's not I don't care, it'll
still work. Yep, okay well you can go for it
mr. Mr. Allen the floor is yours.
I'll have to ask you to share just because you don't want to do that on the iPad, but I'll run through it.
It is lovely. Just wait a moment.
This picture should be killing you.
Oh God. It's tough time.
People. Love American t-34 Mitsubishi,
Magna. All right.
It's got three. Lovely photo has, if you like go
through the many cheese on that thing's rough.
Sometimes it is a little silly hats.
I could do in the movie on a place is the Jake hasn't.
Yeah, exactly. The host of this show knows when
someone describes someone as the Poor People's president.
Yeah, it's it isn't. The famous rapper, Rick Ross.
It is dr. Alan deep Singh.
Who is obviously? He got a dart doctorate in
financial assistance, Financial advice Treasurer, and also have a another doctor in the first one.
So this is a hustle star. You know you want to be hustling
every day like, okay, this is it, dude, I oughta, see that.
I've been packing since when you consider, you know, you need a terrible, something already dipped.
You don't need to do it runs perfectly fine, but we're going on what the cells says runs perfectly fine perfectly.
Exactly. So we're going to get this car.
Where are the pancake batter with it or Go to a minimum wage job trying to make do in this current economy as we do.
So, if this is the working man's car, right?
The people's Champion. So what we got so far, but we
got a Jeep. Cherokee sport XJ.
We've got a Daihatsu Mira, which is looks really in quite nice.
We've got Robin Harley's E46 330ci.
We've got or the poor people. President's five hundred dollar
Magna, was it a hot meal? Yes Magna.
Yes, yeah. Idea update of the TR you grill.
Them on the grill. Yep.
And Edward, we've got your couch.
I'm about to share right now. Yes.
Yeah, that one I quite like I know I thought you would.
I thought you would. I was here.
I was browsing through various options just as we were talking and and that caught my eye. Most of these are really high
caves and stuff but that's 150 5K in a manual and it actually looks pretty good. I thought you're getting a bit
as afford to you. Telstar.
Tx5 turbo hatch 1987 that was the first turbo hatch, they did and was. Yeah, but with a crushed velour
going on, you got the turbo mode, you got the manual transmission, you got the power windows you know it's a it's a nice car. She really likes current yes
over with gray upholstery. I thought wow that with a little
bit of TLC that would come up very well and fit in at Classic Japan. And dare I say it.
Probably be ready quicker than Scotty's r31.
Seriously, you're not wrong. So that caught my eye.
I thought if you went and said, I'll give you five grand.
That's it, that's a bit of cool motoring history for 5K.
Absolutely. That's a crock of a five great.
So 87 tell us that x 5 turbo 6, grand comments.
Say 135,000 case slightly been tidying it up but we'll be moving on. As I have too many cars respray
the top half of the car it still requires a good cut back and buff. So need to paint them to paint
and put back on the car, the stripping along the Gutter and, which is pretty easy in the and around the windscreens tops of doors have cracking due to due to some damage.
But this can be removed the reupholstered because we're sitting for long term, would recommend a service and going over, not sure what we need for roadworthy drives backwards and forwards and stars believe the power.
Steering pump is rattling, but it will add a YouTube video.
But that will, for a little bit of TLC, I reckon that's a cracker it. That's, it's a great.
Yeah, I think that's got potential.
I reckon we dropped the Fraser Island on the way back.
Pick this up from Queensland and draw yourself.
Or just put it into the ocean one or the other.
Yeah, yeah. Come back in the ts5.
That'd be the way to do it. That'll be the way to do.
I like that. I like that a lot actually.
And last but not least, is mr. Scotty do Johnson me?
All right, sharing screen should work now you're sharing, but ye of God. All right.
I've gone something green. This is good for the for the
environment. It's almost he's the environment
of yeah. 76 Ford Falcon 500 XB as a manual.
If you have a look inside there, the great is Emmanuel.
A, there's no motor. It was a manual on.
I mean, the best part is, is the last picture.
He's shown you, what you think? Is that what he used to be, what
it could be, but it used to be. Yeah, no.
Anyway, that's just a joke but my route I know, that's what I thought, but I met says it in the comments.
What do you say we do? You say rebuilt myself
originally, as seen in last image, Brian, and drove it to the ground. Even admits it out to the
ground. I don't think it's the same car
laughs you think? So sir.
I don't want another photo while you're talking.
Take me back to the good photo and then take me back to the bed photo. So go online each side and for
y'all. No, I think it is because you
can see you can see that blue on the yeah you know the inside of the car. Yeah but what about the stuff on
the doors that riding on the doors?
That doesn't make sense. What are you going to send?
Ariel go back to the other shots.
It's going to send to Ariel Center area on its heart.
Let's find out. Yeah, those, geez, he's really
wanted that killed. Its is what he did, what did he
paint it with? That's what it originally looked
at the pain when it was Right. You know.
Paint looks. Alright.
And that door shit it must for any but my real one.
Is this one 2000 like these? I like these two.
Yeah. I reckon these cars are
absolutely fantastic. They are their grand.
That's it. That's a cracker.
Big fan of these ones. I've done some case.
It's got the kazon. I still think the way actually
represents and the condition is in.
It's still, really, really good. There's there's not really that
much info for me to read. That's just all the basic stuff
that their car comes with heated, leather City pledges, all the usual stuff. But most firefighters, that's
important went to college, so probably doesn't get driven too much nowadays. I wish the photos were bigger
but they look pretty small. I love the Kizashi cousin and
this is a top. It says top Because the old
wheel drives you can only get as an automatic and in tops back.
So this is a sport or will drive.
So this is a huge scar. Has anyone ever driven one?
No I'd love to happen. I haven't but I'd like to.
Yeah I'm really there are there cracking Cottage off like they drive really? Well I mean just even looking at
the interior is really a nice conditions nicer seats.
Look look fine! There's no damage there.
Even engine bay looks nice and tidy still I mean haven't looked there with the driver's side. It's a seat, there's no real
wear and tear I'd bolsters or anything, which is surprising for that many cases. I would seriously consider it if
I wasn't with the with the Kizashi, if I wasn't going to be downgrading from the celerio. Yeah, just putting it out there.
You don't say, I always thought these looked so these look really nice and the and do you know when they came out, Suzuki advertised the crap out of it yet?
No one bought them and I don't understand why, because they were Really good thing. Okay, expensive very expensive
though. They were like 40 Grand or
something and I think that's what killed it.
People. Just don't associate Suzuki with
40 Grand. Yeah.
Yeah, that's fair enough. Swipe them being good.
You know, they didn't sort of play in that cause for that money, you could get a lot of you could get master two sixes and Subarus and, you know, I think it I think it just typical over here, you know, the time you hit a rail yard Lancer.
Yeah. Yeah, correct.
Yeah. Just a nice.
You know, these are nice, mid size for car, comes with everything. They want us today.
If it wasn't for, if it was a V6 you would have won it.
So that is my pick. I did have a runner-up pick, but
I didn't choose it because I know I think Matt put it in our church. Is this one here?
This VX U / SV X. I saw that huh?
Yeah. I would normally pick that but
Maddie kind of already found it. So I kind of scrap that off but
it looks absolutely fantastic. This card, this is unreal when I
saw it. I just loved everything about
it. That's because it's so cool.
Like I can I think they look I think they look very cool.
I love to drive when I left a know what they would then be whether yeah so weird. All right, so what are we got?
We've got a I got the Kizashi is my real pic so.
So we've got Scott. He's really neat-looking
Kizashi. We've got Edwards.
Tx5 Telstar. First gen, turbo annual manual.
We've got columns Magna, $500 Magna?
Yeah, we've got Robin Harley's, E46 330ci.
We've got rize's really nice looking.
Little cake are starting mirror and we've got my go anywhere Jeep XJ. Cherokee going where they're
actually very capable off-road. Thank you very much, mr.
Bunting. Yeah.
Very unreliable on road. XJ is a very great propaganda
propaganda. Elvis thirsty of those ones.
Yeah, they look great. But okay.
Okay. But that's the reality and slow,
that's it. That's, that's how it should be,
in the build quality is good if you call is not quite amazing.
On those, is it, you know? But the but all speed or people
that have owned them, and they said that the doors shot.
Really solidly like there would be stuck on those, okay, wagon.
Yeah, pretty much the American gave Americans.
Well, I still have a lot cheaper.
You can forgive a few things. So where is your hard-earned
money going? Who's to whose car if you had to
pick one and Y, will start with Ricky Ross actor.
Just looking this looking at you know brown people were all about economy, you know, the the main man, our homeboy Ricci in the UK, he's trying to pull everybody out of the shit and To do it properly. You're going to do it here as
well. Hence the the Poor People's
president has chosen a Mitsubishi Magna for that.
Sort of, you know, the economic Times only going to get worse.
Don't do it. Don't do it man.
Have to pick have to pick the magnet off because it works perfectly fine. Even if needs a new battery,
these, you tires few scratches and dings but it's only been driven around the farm for the Last 20 years, so it's all good for 500 bucks, Shut Up. And Take My Money.
It needs a new battery. Need to probably get a
roadworthy faster than my 31 truth instru, Robert Harley.
What are you picking now? You guys can both be equal to H.
So you go, you can go for it. I'm going for the Jake.
Oh, the cheap solar It's all pick where you Holly.
Yeah, fuck the Jeep, 20. I bought a drink.
They bought a dream but it's, you need a bigger boat.
It'll be all right, so that's 24.
The Jeep one, for the Magna Edward.
Where's your money going? I'm going to show some love to
these Suzuki. Kizashi as I said, never driven
one, always like them they're down at A price point.
Now that's sort of an even more, even playing field and I think that would be a crack, a little little Runabout.
So give me some of that. Japanese reliability
all-wheel-drive. Goodness, I'll tell you
whatever, another all wheel drive car Japanese, you could get for the same price as the six MPS.
We forget about it. That's, that's still good.
You know, we've talked about them, we know you're in love with him. Yes, you know, my name is only
for myself. So it was that my name is a
really? Yeah, I'm not a male may not
have. He said mates rates were talking
about taller. Ha Run have any case it's over
200, but the engine has been rebuilt and it puts 242 to the wheels are set in it. And I can't believe that it's
242 to the wheels. Yeah.
That would be a quick car, that's pretty good.
Hey Alan. Have you still got that Falcon?
He is that still for sale. What?
Okay. That's on gas, isn't it?
It is it is and means troubling times.
And what I do is I put 175 bucks worth of fuel.
My Pajero the other day and I thought she's gonna have to stop driving this. I need something on gas mate.
No biggie Falcons where it's up. Its up, it's looking good.
Where's your boat going? I will go.
So I believe there's a cake huh. It was a Daihatsu It was okay.
That's also an a Very economic our overall.
You know, you will not be troubled ground around, not be worth well over 100 series. Oh, that's for sure.
So, I'll get I'll pay to my brother so don't have to he's chosen your shitty Magna, and you're choosing his good, go ahead. Like I said, there's a secret
conspiracy going on at the moment because you just gotta unite and just take over. We need, we need, I found Jewels
back that were taken. We do 47.
I'll rock up in my elephant. Yeah and we'll, we'll make it
happen. So so we've got one pick for the
magnet one. Pick for the Kizashi one, pick
for the Daihatsu and two picks for the Jeep.
Insofar G20 so far, Scotty, you know, I could pick My own and make it a draw, but I'm going to mix it up and I've got a real soft spot for Ed. Just me or the tell stuff if you
in general. Which I mean, I'm picking the
Telsa better than having a hard spot for me.
Scotty, I suppose that's what I found out was show.
So let's save that. Belle Starr.
Yeah, go tell. Yeah, I like it.
Yeah. Can't say no, to a bit of an old
hole. Old turbocharged vehicle.
But you know, if I was going to choose my own, I'd obviously choose my own butt. I prefer to find someone else
and see what they brought up and I'm a fan but you chose mine.
I chose your Scotty. Yeah just us.
And you were having a go at us for choosing.
I was choosing Alan's car and I don't want using mine.
So that means what, what is he now?
What's the rule? Well, I have to pay talking to
pick one myself. So don't be the Jeep.
Don't be the Jeep. Don't fidget it's currently
winning. So it can't be the best thing
out of this budget. I was like half tempted on the K
and then I saw the toaster. I was like well yeah and then I
saw Kizashi and I was like Oh, I like his Archie's.
So but in these economical times, which everyone sees me talking about right now, we can't afford for registrations anymore, so I'm going to give my vote to the to the Telstar just so that. But that means leave that as a
tie between a Telstar, you get a cup of $500.
Back on the road. I think.
I think that and runs every did a magnet, or you need a battery.
What's the chief you've got to stop this.
Girl, you bring the battery, it take the car.
We've all done it before Alan. All right, so that leaves two
votes Jeep, two votes Telstar. Now, we have to have to choose a
winner. I can't pick and, Robert, Harley
can't pick. So it's rizz and, and Scotty and
alimony. To pick out of those two cards
for the week, the hard decision L start L, start L, start L, start L start L started and has it that black Jeep out of my stuff. Stars and R is there one the
Jeep, the jury pool. There we go.
The toaster takes it unfortunately.
So well done. Edward on the Tulsa and and I
just picked that like, literally while the show was going on, I didn't even do it before I was very disorganized.
So there you go. It's a Steven, Bradbury comes in
late and takes the Takes, the Cake.
I had one picked and now I feel even worse.
But anyway, there is, you've got to go my friend.
Thanks for jumping on my dude. Thanks for having me on chance.
Have a good one and I look forward to catching up on the next one. Sounds good.
We'll talk soon. Josh Groban.
Harley if you were to drive that Telstar around the block, I think it's still have some funny now because they really talks to you a lot, you know. I think you'd think it's still
go, you know what? I'm getting a bit of a kick out
of this thing. I do recall driving a child star
many years ago and then very good torque.
Steer, there's sort of just took your strategy to the curb Next line all the next to lose control in the waitress and that tells you your food badge. Yeah.
That was missing for bench. I think it had the whole top
half of the car is too embarrassed to realism being a master 66. You know, it's the more thing
they don't have. Is it now the front wheel drive
France, France. And that was in the auto only
and it was in the next model the later model that they do.
Yeah, yeah. Yeah.
Correct. My mom had a front-drive 626
turbo in that next shade. Not a it was a manual so it
wasn't a normal full steer. But yeah, that would change
lanes in the wet. That was, that was an
interesting car on boost off, boost.
It just felt like a normal 626, but on song, Like, whoo.
Hello anyway, that didn't last long.
Well, I would have lasted long got written off prematurely during our ownership so that was the end of that rest in peace.
Yeah. R.I.P we got cryptic scripted
cards in the quiz. Soak Scotty explain cryptic cars
to the people who haven't played it before equipped cars so it's been absent for a little bit and during that time we got so many complaints everyone was so Upset and off the hate mail.
That Maddie was getting Daily Post.
Drop it off the Greenback cryptic cars bring it back.
No struggling man. Like my inbox it's still full
like they're like like your shows terrible but the one good highlight of the show was quickly cars with Scotty, bring it back. So its back its back during that
segment, I did during a lockdown it with how many kidnappings.
Yeah, we should bring that back in the day.
All right, I see to get you started.
Just so you know how this game works, I'll give you the model and then there will be the name of something.
So we're using synonyms on this one.
For example, if I set a Ford horse, could mean a Ford Mustang. Honda perception would be a
Honda Insight Subaru, Freedom, Subaru, Liberty.
I don't things like that in there.
And this time, Around. I've thrown in some movies that
have started some cars. There's a couple in there.
I've put in there. I've got some Clues to try and
help you out with a little bit of it, because I'm not quite sure how well you'll go. If I've made it a bit too tricky
with these movies, but we shall see.
Let's get started, everyone ready?
But yeah, I'll be ready. Just so they're not all
synonyms. They're not all synonyms.
Already. All Synonym.
We are all synonyms. Yes.
Okay, excluding the title of the movies as well.
Oh, I like a would be a synonym as well.
I'll try and give you some extra little Clues here in the hook.
You up with what it might be about and might help you in the long run. But when I come to a car movie,
I'll let you know when that's going to happen.
Sounds good. I do want to keep score Scotty.
Yes, please. That would be absolutely
fantastic. Great now I'm not normally
nervous, I'm actually a bit nervous for this.
We go. All right, number one, a
Mitsubishi, Contender, Matthew. Matthew Mitsubishi challenger
all straight away. Start off the barrier would.
That's very quick awesome quick. All right.
Number to a Toyota knife. Ed.
Oh, Ed blade? Yes, well done.
All right. He's not the first movie one.
I'm going to start by just saying the cinnamon city known IAM and if no one's buzzing in, I'll just start leaking some Clues to go with it, okay? So first car movie head-to-head
First clue Steven Spielberg. It's hard.
One of the first movies. Steven Spielberg had a valiant
in it. It's Ed Mad, Max, no, not Mad
Max Valiant but I think that was Spielberg anyway, no idea, no idea around another clue, not a clue, it's a giant tanker truck in it. That is the pride.
And I know, I know Rob was Jewel.
Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I might be a bit tricky. But yeah, that's not movie.
Check it out. Did you, did you know that?
That was really the case bonding did you soon as your City sell it as soon as he said, you know, in it a giant tanker I was like, Jewel Jewel, yeah. All right, nice one Ruby.
Haven't seen that. Check it out.
Go check one. Third one, Rob and Harley, and
want to Matthew. All right.
Next one. A kreisler large, Globetrotter,
Ed Ed. Chrysler LeBaron or something
like that. Yeah, the Grand Voyager
Globetrotter is the Grand Voyager was like live Barren, you're a Barren, you going everywhere.
Some reason why mine was still in like movie running like what that my bad. All right.
Next one. A high-end.
I pronounce the ation. Hey, Ed, just got in a accent.
Yes, sorry. It's just the way my internet
works. That's all.
All right. Next one is a Kia spirit.
Matthew. Matthew, oh, damn.
Edited edited magenta's. I did it.
It's next, is soul. Yes, yeah, I forgot about those.
All right, everyone. Okay, two words for the title of
this movie. And I've got it down here as
disappear tip. Oh right?
You're in. Yeah, well done.
Yeah. Let's go check it for Robert
Holley to myself. One element yet to score.
Three Weiser disappear. I was like that's is going to be
going to the seconds. Yeah, it was not.
All right, we got three more to go.
Okay, you want to go and there's one more Beauty, one to finish off, to still anybody's game. Well, it seems our.
But anyway, that's another story fruit.
Alright, the next one Masta acclamation.
Matthew Matthew was not now, but that it's a tribute.
It's you say it was Yeah, it was okay.
Same thing as tribute. Yeah, absolutely.
So I found that one, I forgot all about that one.
It was like a steena, that's not an exclamation.
Surely that's what was in my head, you know, like producing our copy of the desert? Yeah, I heard you say tribute
and I was like, hang on, go back to Matt for a second.
I was thinking Cosmo. Is that a thing?
That's more space related? It would but too true.
All right. Is there second last one, the
Holden Gleam. Matthew Matthew holding, Jimmy
boy, no, not Gemini. It's a bit tricky.
This one. Something that gleams Rob.
Yep. Rub Astra.
Nope, Bloom cetera, astronomical?
It's a whole new probably don't even think about really honestly don't even know why they made it.
But Ed Ed Hold'em, the art sir. No think so I think it's
something that's bright shines bright.
I think I know what it is. Go for it.
No. Oh good guess though.
Good again. Last night.
I didn't think of that one. How long should you have a
point? Gleams.
Hold on Viva now can I wipe it before you go before you give it away? Is it either a polo or is it
Nova? No.
Okay this is a toughie Holden spark.
Oh yeah, I forgot about those claims.
The Source says so I want to use the old thesaurus.com.
I agree with you. I don't know why they made it.
Yeah, I don't know. Not a good time.
Not at all. Wasn't your idea?
Pretty good. That it's a concept was a
turbocharged four-wheel drive. Yeah.
Then it never happened. And they gave us a little tiny
little Korean hatchback. That was just like me.
Yeah, not what it should have been.
Okay, last one. And it's a movie I'll show how
it goes this. I might need to turn some Clues,
but that's okay. So again, this title, that movie
is two words. These words are demise resistant
resistant. These are bloody tough Scott.
These are these are tough tonight.
I'll take take a guess? Yeah.
Is it away for a clue if you want?
No, I for Clues. Okay.
First clue came out in 2007 a little bit longer and then I'll buzz in with the next clue. Oh, why not?
It's, it was a grand house thing but only one else is with the Death Proof, correct. Well, that is double feature.
Resistant is proof. Yeah, now the hell is that link
it? What about my apologies also
through this context is implying It's myself and Robert Holley on to tonight's, we're not on a grand.
Total of four. Is the most cryptic of us, some
of us all is mr. Edward panting Water.
Well Done. Hey much.
Thank you very much. I like this game.
It's really tough. You had some tough words in this
video, all right? Yeah.
I thought I'd like to throw in the movie.
And Stumpy. So you all along with some more
movies, I just want to try and find different movies than your usual Gone in 60 Seconds and dear agree.
There's it looks like I see Classics unique to throwing their next time. All right, and the car movies as
well, I can most certainly do that.
So do we modify this year? We won't name them know what?
They are actually modify. The name of the segment to
cryptic cars and features and study.
Yeah, maybe we can all today. But next week I'll do her.
I'm a team at Danes. It's going to be.
It's good. Bring it back, bring it back.
The rule and we get 300 SL on the front.
That's not the lightest one though, and that's what life is life. Is that?
Sorry? Yeah, that's an old one that I
just want in the Danny, how he's been writing it on the bog.
Yeah. Next, yeah, mr.
Elom deep Singh. It is your floor now before your
visual? Yes, sir.
Because we have the lovely Miss to edit one thing.
In the studio. I will say, please refrain from
answering more than the question asks, because the bonus question, in many cases, may be related and you will spoiled - question not get points. Some push over again on this
town, little bit of push too hard.
Make sure you follow the rules so it can be for a long time.
You have to keep score all ready to go.
Excellent. Question number one.
True or false before I started. I should apologize.
So the questions are related to run.
Was Australia. Why some will even to just
Victorian rules? Okay.
I don't think anything from any other state so the theme is Australian Road Rules, right? Yes, yes.
So especially International view some some of these may be quite interesting to you. I was probably won't be but it's
always good to know. So first question true or false
Most it is legal to perform a U-turn and any traffic light intersection in Australia. As long as I know, U-turn sign
is not present scarf, Matthew Scotty was false, true false.
What it isn't? Victoria are just there.
Yeah. Now, bonus question, which
states? Is it legal or illegal in?
I'll give half a point to each answer.
Obviously, no points to rhetoric has already know the answer, Rob. Well, well, it's legal in
Victoria illegal, in New South Wales and Queensland, illegal illegal. Yes, I know.
And knowing it's a tazie. When we go so it's not legal.
It's not legal. So we're saying legal in your
way. Yeah, legal in.
Wa I think. Yeah.
And then the rest of me saying illegal illegal apart, from Victoria. Yeah, yeah, okay.
Well you win them except for wa it's also illegal.
All right, any opinion on a CT and the interior still waiting on what about tazzy is it as a CT because they're cooked.
I'll say, Legal and entity. I'll say I'll say legal and it
because they've got like unrestricted roads there, they probably don't know. It's actually illegal in both NT
and the act, the early state. So one of our points to rob
their wow one point faster way. So we are these State.
Just just just closed his car phone is really the only side that allows you to do u-turns at like lights traffic lights.
Yeah. Every other state.
It's illegal. Unless a sign that says you turn
Added. Are you serious?
Yes, we are home in Australia. Sorry Victoria.
We love you both. Yeah, we're thinking about it.
So the more you know it's all right.
Nice work. They're wrong question.
Number two what is the most common misconception about roundabout rules it? It was first.
Common misconception is, like, give way.
Give way to the right. Yes, that's correct.
Did you give away 10 as a bonus as a bonus?
But Holly I can I can answer that.
Is the first one in the roundabout?
Yes. Okay.
So the first point, that is the real rule.
The most common misconception is give way to the right.
Many young people that has been taught that lesson.
How do I? Mmm, all right, so wait, so wait
pointer. But everyone is you have to give
way to the right unless you really need a section, right?
I mean technically, yes, but a lot of people will use that excuse to ramp somebody even though they really if the person to your left is already in the intersection or in the round of tap and they they noticed it in there and it before you've got more you have no right around the you know again aggressive young people at is and they learn what had the lesson the hard way. And up goes the insurance
premium as long as they've got. Of course.
So one point or another one point to a Dallas running out of time together or separate the plane together.
Question 3, true or false? Any class of licence holder can
talk own Toria Matthew. Mary is true.
Alyssa's by requesting an employee employable and I kept that I'm doing. All right, question 4.
What is the highest top speed committed On Any Road in Australia? Is it game to First me?
I think, the highest top speed is 130, correct, bonus question.
If you could State the road /, you know, whatever name where the speed limit is permitted, Hotpoint, French Scott and through including there, is it the nullable incorrect.
Okay hint. They're all me Aunty.
Yeah, it's up north somewhere as wait.
So that's 1. So 1 is a point five.
Oh one point point five for any of these is for total.
So runs higher. Not get one.
Any other guesses is that the Autobahn I like that.
The others, I would accept it with the barkly highway Victoria Highway and Arnhem highway, but they're all sections, of course, that 113 old whole way through just clarify, is the ante.
I thought they brought back the unlimited.
Yeah, they brought her back. Didn't they?
Say the trial and then, they kind of got rid of it again, as far as I recall. Yeah, if you don't respond to a
We go into the in t to do something for once.
I can't have that. Okay, question of a fire true or
false you must by law, apply the parking brake your vehicle when parked on the road stop it. Roku 3.
First thing that Drew correct. If you park on the road and
you're going to park your car, you have to be like a record.
Otherwise you may receive infringement notice.
Are you going to break the pact right now?
Just pulling gear. Pretty good.
Yep. True or false, the default speed
limit for Rural, highways all across Australia is 100 kilometers an hour rocket. It came through, not sure if
you've done one of these quizzes before, or maybe you knew to it, Maddie, let's let you know how these Quizzes work.
Yeah, just put truth. This is a practice.
Round is a true 102. What their speed limits, it's
got somebody is Victoria 80. No math, but it's all we do on
all these damn freeways. yeah, but we're at There's 110 signs
in Victoria so I'll say Toria. Know the default, many of these
holes we've got robbed. So I got write essays got 110
for sure. No, surprisingly.
Well, I mean, this is, this is the standard, what they would say. Yeah, this one for this one came
on, they open roads. Now, this is default, if there's
no sign, I thought that's what your score is, 100.
Okay. It's all right.
It was wa NT that worth 110. Okay, what's, what's everyone
else? Everyone else is 100.
Yes. All right into school cheeky
let's go check myself. We must be bad drivers because
we're on 0. It was on to and Robert Holley a
smash it on. For whoo we have One, two,
three, four, four and a bonus question left, still anyone's game studying still in it. Yep silina those rules which
states in Australia. Sorry, this is another maximum
speed limit question. Which states Australia?
Have a separate maximum speed limit for papers Matthew.
Where you going first of that's, that would be New South Wales.
That's nice. Holly Queensland.
No queensland's actually no Scott.
Actually, I'll give half a point to a chance.
I have it too. Yes, it does.
Okay, so how fundamentally how funny Scott?
And there is actually two more. Oh, really yeah?
Really w-wait nope. Ali Northern Territory.
Yep. Holly And guess the last one of
the very few States left can take a punch.
I think through that in I think has another half point there, that's just surprising that they're more States.
Kind are doing kind of different people a limits than originally liked it. I think, wow, I got pulled over
years ago when he was in his red peas and he's from Sydney.
And he got pulled over at like, 10:00 10:30 or something.
Anyway, he was about Farmers from home and the cop just stayed behind him. dancing on the flashing lights and tell
1050 and like all right you're going to go home now but yes curfews do exist continual okay true or false Cook turns were originally australia-wide. The standard way to make a right
hand? Turn, okay, and true.
Correct. What are you serious?
maybe, the real reason why you do it, and I started thinking about, This is like classic haunting voice are.
Road Rules are rules, we're going to be history.
Okay, question number 9, some point.
It's no big. Whoop, you know, where hurts?
How many point-to-point camera systems operating Victoria Runner please. Hey, so many times 7 I said
systems No cameras. Systems.
Like so I've set up cameras were part of one system.
All right. Holly hang on you Nancy yet.
So yes, I'll give you a sorry. Yeah, I'll still say servants
there's seven of them, okay, you're incorrect.
Incorrect, stop Scurry to correct his first points by this point where they located Matthew of course page.
I think I had my first one is on the Hume.
Yes, the point five. Yep.
And the other is on the colder rubber incorrect.
Rob, Rob, we were next. Interact.
It really gets them into link. Well, yeah, well okay, fine.
As acceptance illegal allowed. Yeah, yeah, I will better than 7
and has a different system, the states aren't talk to each other. I thought they could be coming
in soon to put them up already. American Trust.
It is false. Let's say it is really it, isn't
it? Isn't it isn't true?
Yeah. Say that again, it is illegal to
leave your car unlocked or to leave it with the windows open.
If you got move more than three meters away from it, true or false illegal illegal illegal to leave your car unlocked.
So I can't, I can't leave my car industry unlocked.
If I feel like it, well, you're going to be taken away.
Her failed to secure your vehicle correctly.
You have to put a ton. Wow.
Okay. We should have really had
anything neon for this episode. And how does that work for a
Moke? You'll get one of those mr.
Bean. Locks, do I have to secure the
zips on the 10th and with one of those combination locks?
Yeah. That is the end of the quiz.
Scorcher. Please me go check, Scotty and I
are on to each Edward on three and tonight's winners on one, two, three, four, five and a half is Robert Harley what I'm guys isolations? Nice boys.
Well done, while safe drivers, you were so drunk or not.
Ladies do What?
You've lost? All of us have 4 Points.
I do I do I do. Yep.
Scott has never incurred infringement.
Hey I thought never occurred On never incurred one like in every parking speeding, or who hears, the past infringement, or family members on the to into speeding, but I got out of them.
Both, how did you get out of them?
Like, like I got distracted by to sudden the glare.
I didn't even number god. I didn't even know that was a
thing, right? So when I got the first one in
my mum's car, she was like I wasn't driving on that day.
I'm like, yeah, I might have been and somewhat my brother told me. Yeah, you can write that you can
get out of the first one because I'd never had a speeding fine until like three years ago. So after five years again, you
can do it again. Now.
Why did it after to know? Yeah, please after two
apparently because I cut down in the friggin yellow Renault and I'm thinking of all the cars to get a speeding fine in the yellow. In it and they had the photo
thing and I'm like, well it's no one else of course.
And I wrote the same letter and thought.
Yeah, this is pushing it and I've got off it.
I thought you said I can't think.
Yeah, it's not a hard letter. I'll save it because they say
like the whitest name. Ever Edward bunting.
They like our, hey, he's probably still Matthews not racial. They see a guy could imagine
earrings, I got some money for you.
Just changed it in your Alan, beep.
Ellen be more emotional organization.
Sensation paperwork is going to cost me more than the final.
Do you think it's like when you go through shopping centers and you see the sheriff's clamped cars?
Do you ever think, like how much money they must own like to the state like your car to be clear? You're going to have to like oh,
heaps and fines. Hmm, surely a lot of people
think I'm like, drinking those people watch that YouTube video on how to get the clamp off the cup.
Jack it up real quick. Look around it like Going on
somewhere. You can probably get off the
same way. Is rather.
Well, I used to look at it but we shall be sending and they'll do it a blitz. You don't cops.
Do it comes to you like and try and Sheriff's.
Do Blitz. Like they was cocci, cop cars
everywhere and a sheriff's car. And the cops were just going
around the car park, scanning all the plated and they just stop worrying front of one clip at this one.
I'll keep you up that night. I drove back and not, I'm not
even kidding. Probably 30 or 40 cars,
throughout the whole car park with clamps.
Like I'm I shit you not like they were all was like warranty Morty people. Yeah.
So I was like I was like these poor guys had to walk out and they were able to do you get paid if you the money for your pay final spot there's depth of in there.
Yeah so you can get pay it. If you'd like you may not too
much for you if you parking outside.
Clear? Why in your car gets towed by a
tow truck? Do you guys know where it goes?
Because it's a legit question. Like you come out of this
laughs. You think I'll shit apart in a
clear way. The car's gone.
What? I do like, how do you know where
to go? Get it?
I have always thought about that.
I like how to help I think until the hell are you packing?
Clear. Voice must not.
If all, you must know, they must know for you or something because I know my mates, sister, she parked in the Clarion, like, pun Road, or something to somewhere in Richmond gear.
As you got a card, the Mercedes to, and this is our fan out where the car was. How'd they find out?
It's time to think. I've currently already told me,
like, if they Leave a note or they could leave a note like that. It's draws, you're relying on a
shop to be opened and the shop. You also Park in the clear way
and I'm just saying you weren't exactly doing the right thing, you know? And I bet you've got to know
where to get your cards. Not like they go crush it.
You've got to go get it. You've got your pry.
No, no, it's been used to be huge.
It happened to me, but I'm gonna find out because the receptionist at work was like I years and more than Collingwood, you know. So I Googled it and then I rang
them. And yeah, your cars here now and
got it and paid the fine whatever.
But, What the hell was that? I wonder how many people, what
car was? It was a work.
BMW 3 Series was a black 320 Diesel and I'd come out the front and he had been distracted in my house and so I haven't gone back out to move it and I forgot came out in the morning when or it's not in the side streets.
Not in the other side street. Now is really back in my brown.
Where the hell did I put this thing?
And I'm like, oh shit. I know where it was.
Nick Rhodes, right. And it says call on the key
Wayside. Yeah. 848 on the clear ice on
it. There you go.
That is Nationwide. Tony transport records.
So I just Googled my car has been towed.
Yeah he's got a vicar. Oh this is find out if your
vehicle has inspired if you believe your vehicle's been towed into your registration details of chick Nationwide, Towing and Transport records. Yeah, and they can probably tell
you what he tells that and how much we've been charged somewhere around the following rules have been in storage Toby's plus this Factory car. Any windows were broken Among
other things, 500 a day depending on the place here.
It's not. Okay, get it out.
Can they legally do that? I mean, you illegally parked.
So yeah, according to get the city of Melbourne, totally fearful. 53 on the daily fees are different.
So sorry, it wasn't the daily key for her to be so release them. I'll 453.
It is a you going to pay the fine usually that might have been slapped on the car and the Trophy and release fee.
So it ends up costing, hundreds and hundreds.
But, like, when it happened to me, they didn't actually, there wasn't actually a fine on my car, they just towed.
It's all, that depends, the tophi.
But I was lucky that there was no phone on it as well.
But yeah, it went to Collinwood year so so we can finally get you. So they'll take it to the board.
Yeah. And then if it stays long
enough, I'm assuming then take it to the auction yard and no white North. Yeah, so the fuel we totaling
eight hundred eighty four dollars because they told you how to Twice and the be a three dollar Administration and then eighteen dollars a day to store it at number part, option yard, it's not pretty. Yeah.
Melbourne able to collect all the cars that were left there.
So you get all the Backpackers, you know, driving these bombs.
I'm right. So that's driving to the long
term car park and leave it there for a while, why I write?
So therefore, I think it was two or three months, For that can actually tell it away and sell it.
Wow, I'll stick a right because you could use the way the upper robe. They did I use have an all time.
Yeah. You 70 like separate pie after I
moved out of the area. Yeah, listen to one side, you
had cars. Wow, that's crazy.
That's actually cool thousand bodies in the Boudoir.
Something actually like if you go to leave the car you might as well go hard and tuck it right in the like detachment.
They're like, yeah, right? The one minute.
Yeah. She's there, she's there and
he's like, yeah, it's like having an argument with this guy through the window and I was like ah screw this.
I dump the clutch in the laser and Tom likes, but the wheels came back came back around and you know, Okay.
Ultra light colored stock, could be closer to like I used to.
I used to have a free car park, pass for a fight to park anywhere. I wanted to in the car parks at
Melbourne Airport. Love that.
All right. So, so for seven years I never
had to pay for parking at the airport when I went away, right?
But this one time but we did to the short-term car park and parked and they gave me a ticket.
Why? I don't know it was parked in a
certain location or spot that it shouldn't have been or something because there's a break that That there's a problem with the building. So park, next to the building to
have a look at the issue that came back out, and I've got a ticket on my car, parking spot. Yeah.
But everyone like all the parking guys knew my car, right?
Are used to driving around with it.
Sorry. What car was it then xr6?
Turbo defg. Nice nice.
Yeah. So but yeah, apart from that,
you know, you spelled Park anywhere, I wanted to just, you know it out anyway. Yeah, it was good.
Hooks, the price of the perks but but every time I go back to like short, like the one minute drop-offs, I hate it.
So what I do now I don't bother going to look like a short, stay car parks where you can sit and wait until late.
So I dare because Steve knows, I was visually punching up with the guy and she'll call me when she's when she's like there at the pickup. I'll be like you call me when
you do. I refuse to get into that
another here with those people? So that's the way I do it now.
But yeah, do but I still see all The time, the amount of people that sit on the, on the table freeway, they just sit away.
Yeah, they sent there is a white zone thing.
They're in a long-term care pack is a short-term waiting area.
Yeah, that's where I go. Yeah.
My favorite part is, when you see the, the federal police pull up behind all those cars that are parked on the side.
Yeah. And you see some of them they
try and trick and they have their Bonnet opened as well.
I also know that you know locking valve and go out of pocket motorcycle on the footpath but not at the airport, really? It's federal land.
So you'll get a fine. Okay, so I don't know, I didn't
know about this but it is the airport owned by the feds.
It's fair, its federal land. Yay!
So it's federal government as what I call it Air Services.
Basically it's Federal it's run by Air Services little the land.
Yeah what's on the HP comes to to get the you what information on weight? It's their jurisdiction and Vic
Paul there under the AFP Banner when they work there so they work under the AFP rules. Well this is turned into a very
educational evening between right angles and Airport rules hands up. If you've been pulled over by
the federal police, The ones who gave you the point of arrest.
While I was driving home from work going past the airport and they followed me and pulled me over and were questioned his.
When I had the Evo and there's about three of them in the car too. And all of the day, want to know
Scotty? Well, they asked me where am I
coming from? I said just being at work, they
go, have you been drinking? I said, well, I just came from
work and he goes No answer the question.
Have you been drinking? Well, I said, well, no, because
I've been at work, because I don't eat fast because you got to be fast around the airport. I go knock.
This is when it was 100. It's now 80 to 100.
Respond long to 100. It's like, you know.
Okay. And one of the other blokes was
much nicer. You guys are nice car.
He goes I see you got a boost controller.
What's it running at the moment so I just told him, you know, it's running 19. PSI is like, okay, cool.
Now they just jumped in the car and drove off.
