Well, you know, every year, every year we stay in contact, every year we have the opportunity
to connect and I know how busy you are. I know it's actually your very busiest time of year.
So we appreciate you joining us. So real quick, how have you been?
Oh, well, JP, I've been pretty good. I've been very busy getting all the toys ready for the boys
and girls all around the world. Oh, I bet. I bet. I know it's a huge job. I know that Amazon has
nothing on the elves. So although they do a great job, I think you're still number one in the delivery
business. Oh, JP, my elves are the best. They outperform almost everybody on a daily basis.
I know they're truly incredible. Well, Santa, I know your time is limited because you've got
a lot of work yet to do. So if you don't mind, let's get right in to the reason for the season.
We've got some great kids that had some terrific questions for you. We like to get
right to it because I know many of them are listening. So let me start with Kiara.
Kiara asked, what is your favorite cookie? Oh, Kiara, that is a wonderful question.
Well, let me just first of all say that first Santa loves all cookies. I love every cookie
the boys and girls leave out for me and I just absolutely love them all. I think my favorite
was probably the ones with have the sprinkles on them. Chocolate chip with sprinkles are about my
favorite. I think I like sprinkles because it reminds me of the snow. It reminds me of the
Christmas season. Well, that's certainly an answer I wasn't expecting. I thought for sure it'd be
chocolate chip, but that's right. I think chocolate chip and the sprinkles, they make a great
combination. So good choice, Santa. Oh, thank you, JP. Santa, this one is from Logan and Logan asked,
Santa, what is your favorite color? Do you like one better than red? Oh,
Logan, that is a great question. My goodness. Well, I suppose if I had to pick a color,
it would be blue. Blue is about my favorite color because I know this person that has a blue car
that I just love, but it also has white in it too. So red, white and blue, almost the color
of our flag. That's right. That's right. That's right. And I know that car. That is a great car
too. So we saw it not too long ago. So and we are very glad that that person had the opportunity
to share that car with you, Logan, because I remember meeting you in person and Santa,
let me tell you, he was a very, very cool kid. Oh, that's good to hear, JP. And JP, any endorsement
coming from you, I know is solid. So congratulations, Logan. If you have JP on your team, you're doing
everything right. And I'm sure you're on the good list. Well, Santa, speaking of the good list,
this one, this one may put you under a little bit of pressure. This one is from Sonia. And Sonia
would like to know, what are the elves' favorite songs? Oh, Sonia, that is such a good question.
The elves are quite eclectic when it comes to music. They like all music. But I think their
favorite song is the one that we hear sometimes when we see our Christmas cartoons. And it's
We Are Santa's Elves. We Are Santa's Elves. We Are Santa's Elves. And all my elves just love
to sing to that, JP. And I'll tell you something, Sonia, you should hear it. It's just nothing but
just wonderful music to Santa's ears. I think that's, I think that's a great song. I remember
seeing that song on many cartoons and television shows when the elves are making the toys and
happily working in the workshop. So I can see them actually singing that.
Oh, they sing it all the time, JP. And sometimes they'll even break out and do an Elvis tune.
So, Santa, let me get to this one. This one is really an interesting question. And I know this
person is not the only one that worries about something like that. And we don't want any child
worrying about anything at Christmas. But this is from Gunner. And Gunner wrote to us and said,
Will you ask Santa how he finds us because we live on a boat? Santa, can you find anyone anywhere?
Oh, of course, JP. We know where all the boys and girls are all over the world at every time.
And Gunner, I want to assure you that though you may live on a boat, I still know right where you
are. And I know right where that boat is. And I will find you. What a lot of people don't know, JP,
is that Santa has a real good end with the North American Aerospace Defense Command or NORAD.
And you know, NORAD tracks me too. And in fact, boys and girls can go on the web and find me
at the NORAD website and see where I am in the world. But with my help with NORAD and a couple
of secret Santa satellites, I know where all the boys and girls are. So Gunner, honey, I don't
want you worrying at all. I will find you. There you go, Gunner straight from Santa. He knows
exactly where to find you. And you can track him too. And for all the boys and girls out there,
we'll make sure that we put a link to the website for NORAD so you can track Santa yourself
on Christmas Eve. And that's the only time you can track him. So we'll make sure we put it on
there for you so you can keep up to date and make sure you're in bed before he gets to your house.
Santa, you're full of interesting information. And I love the way that you share it.
I love the way that you spread the joy and happiness and Christmas magic everywhere.
And of course, we're very happy to help do these. I've got to ask on behalf of Mason.
Mason, like lots of little boys and girls out there, they have an elf on the shelf. And Mason
has one named Chippy. And Mason would like to know, does Chippy come all the way from the North Pole
Oh, mercy. Well, first of all, Mason, I can tell you that I know Chippy. And yes,
he comes from the North Pole. My elves on the shelves are all over the world. And they tell
me when boys and girls are being good. And they tell me when boys and girls aren't being so good.
That's why you should always listen to your mom and dad, listen to your brick brother or big sister,
because they're going to make sure they protect you. And Chippy's no different. Chippy tells me
when you're being good and when you're being bad, Mason. So keep being good, because Mason,
Chippy's told me that you've been a really, really good little child. So that is very good.
Here's one that somebody asked us as we were out at an event. And I guess this is a question that
many people ask, especially, especially little boys, but they want to know,
Santa, how do you keep your beard so white if you eat so many cookies?
That is such a good question, JP. Well, first of all, we have to remember the North Pole is in
the North and it's very, very cold up there. And my beard not only helps keep me warm, but sometimes
when Santa is eating something, it may fall on my beard. So it doesn't get into my red jacket.
But I have a special cleaning solution that Mrs. Claus helps me put on
my beard to make sure that it's always nice and white. But sometimes Santa gets cookie crumbs in
it and I just simply brush it out and I don't worry about it. But that is a really good question.
I thought that was an interesting question, too. I think that's certainly one that people will wonder
about and now they'll know. Just like this one right here, this is from Kalani. And Kalani asked,
Santa, what is your real name? Oh, Kalani, that is such a good question. You know, I go by a lot
of different names all around the world in many different languages. But my real name is Saint
Nicholas. That's my real name. And I love going by that name. But of course, I love going by Santa,
particularly this time of year. Well, Santa, you know, another thing that's interesting is
we get so many questions and many people ask the same questions or similar questions.
And this one was one that really stood out. And especially the name. This is from Holly.
Holly asked, Santa, how old are you? And what do you do when you're not delivering gifts?
Oh, Holly, I love your name. That is such a good Christmasy name, Holly.
Well, Holly, Santa is well over a thousand years old. I am so I've been delivering gifts
all of my life. And most of the time, there has been civilization on the planet. I've been
delivering gifts. And what I like to do when I'm not delivering gifts is preparing and working
with my elves, making the toys right after Christmas Day this year. Santa and his elves
be making toys for 2026. Can you believe that? Because it takes a whole to make all those toys.
And, you know, we have to make sure that all the little boys and girls and some of the youngsters
that we've talked to, Kira, Logan, Sonja, Gunnar, Mason, Kalani and you, Holly, we have to make sure
that you have your gifts ready and we have to make all those. And when I'm not doing that,
I'm tuning up Santa's sleigh. That's a good answer, Santa. I think that's, you know,
I don't know that that all the boys and girls sometimes realize how much work and time there is
between when you get to deliver the toys and when you get to start making them because the elves
are always working. So if I can interject, my question is, when do the elves get vacation?
Oh, JP, that's such a good question. I'm very lucky to not have Union elves.
Well, my elves are so, they're magical elves. They're like Santa, who's been alive for over
a thousand years. My elves would rather be making toys and their breaks are all making toys. They
live it. They breathe it. They eat it 24 hours. They want to make toys. And sometimes, of course,
they want to have some off time with their other elf friends and they have plenty to do.
Plus, we have plenty of elves that are always available to help Santa anytime I need it.
Wow. That's an interesting answer, Santa. That's not something I thought about.
You know, I never would have thought anything about the Union elves because I always thought
they were all magical elves. But you know what? Thank you for sharing that. I think that's wonderful.
Oh, that was Santa's attempt at poor humor, JP.
Santa, this one is from Ben. And this is something that I've seen many times. I'm sure many boys
and girls in their families do this. But Ben would like to know, do you and the elves wear matching
pajamas? Oh, Ben, that is such a good question. Actually, we do wear matching pajamas. And I'll
bet you can't guess what color they are. JP, do you want to guess what color they are? I'm going to
guess they're red, but maybe blue inside. Well, they're actually red with a blue stripe.
Well, thank you for that answer. Because you know, many people do, they wear those matching
pajamas. You know, we see them in advertisements and commercials and we see the pictures. And
I think that's a great tradition that families get to share. And I think that was a great answer.
I have to tell you, one of one of the joys that Santa has after he comes into the home and puts
the gifts under the tree and eats his cookie, hopefully chocolate chip with sparkles is seeing
the pictures of all the families and the moms and the dads and the children in matching pajamas at
Christmas. That just warms Santa's heart. Santa, I know that you personally know this little girl.
This little girl through her parents asked this question. We had the opportunity at our show
to meet this little girl. One, because she's absolutely acuity. And two, because I personally
love her name. Her name is Emmy. It's Emerson. She goes by Emmy. And we met her not too long ago.
And she would like to know, Santa, how do you keep your hat from flying off when you're flying?
Oh, JP, is this the Emmy you told me about who was so special?
It surely is. I have a wonderful picture of her. Oh, I remember when you talked about Emmy.
Well, Emmy, honey, first of all, you couldn't have a better friend than JP.
Well, you know, Santa, Santa's suit and his hat all stick to me very well when I'm flying in my
sleigh. And actually the hat form fits to my head. And anytime it gets very windy, it gets tighter.
And when it gets not so windy, it gets a little bit more loose. It never flies off because Santa
has to have all of his hat and his gloves and his boots. If I don't have everything all cinched
up and ready to go, I can't go on my sleigh. So that's how I do it. It just form fits to my head
and it gets tight automatically through magic. Christmas magic. That's right. That's right.
Emmy, that was such a great question. And I'm glad you had the opportunity to ask that.
Because our next question is the only person that asked this question. And I was kind of surprised
that no one had asked before. But I guess even I didn't even think about it. And this one is from
Alex. And Alex asked, do elves have pets in the North Pole?
That is such a great question. And I have to tell you that, you know, honestly,
we do have pets where, you know, Santa's elves were no different than you boys and girls that
are out there. Of course, we have pets. Of course, you know, our favorite pets are our reindeer,
you know, because the reindeer is what helps propel the sled. And if we didn't have them,
if we didn't have Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen, Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen,
and of course, the favorite Rudolph, they're all the pets of all of our elves in me. But
truth be told, some of our elves have penguins. Penguins for pets, can you believe it? But if
you think about what it's like in the snow and in the ice and the cold, that's where you see
penguins, you see them in the ice and the snow. And they make great pets. But we also have some
elves that have kitties and have little puppy dogs because, you know, we love animals all over
the world and Santa and his elves are no different. I had no idea. I didn't even think about penguins,
but I guess that makes perfect sense. I mean, you know, they're always, they're always dressed so
nicely and they're black and white like a tuxedo. Very fancy, Santa.
I was going to crack that same joke, JP. They're always dressed for the occasion.
Santa, before we get to this one, let me ask this. How's Mrs. Claus doing?
Oh, JP, Mrs. Claus is doing wonderfully. She is so busy helping to make sure the elves have
everything they need to make the gifts. And she, of course, keeps Santa out of trouble.
He keeps Santa out of the elves away. So because sometimes Santa wants to get in there and help,
but because I'm so large, the elves sometimes have a hard time moving around me, but Mrs. Claus is
so, so she is such a wonderful wife and a great, great, great mom to all the elves.
And she also helps me go through my list of good boy and girls and bad boys and girls. So
Mrs. Claus is doing very well. Well, that's great. That's great. We are very happy to hear it,
because this next question kind of ties into that. And when I, when I ask it, you'll probably
understand what I mean. This one is from Daniel. And Daniel asked, have you ever run out of wrapping
paper? Daniel, that is an outstanding question. The simple answer is no, we've never run out
of wrapping paper, because one thing that we have in the North Pole is a lot of wrapping paper,
because all the gifts have to be wrapped. And goodness sakes, if we ran out of wrapping paper,
whatever would we do? So we always have wrapping paper. And JP, that's one of the things that
Mrs. Claus makes sure that we have plenty of supplies. And wrapping paper is right on top
of the list. So Daniel, that is a really, really good question. See, I kind of figured she was
in charge of that because, you know, if you're like the rest of us, yeah, some of those things
get missed, but I'm sure Mrs. Claus is always on the ball, isn't she? Mrs. Claus is really on the
ball, JP. She keeps a mean line and makes sure we have all the supplies the elves need. Santa,
as you know, we get questions from young boys and girls, but sometimes we get questions from,
let's just say someone that sometimes may act or have fun, as if they were a young boy or girl.
And this one was specifically sent to us for this question. And it's very important to them.
And this question comes from Olivia. Olivia would like Santa to share,
does Santa and all the elves know sign language? Oh, JP, that is such an important question.
And I know who you're talking about. Olivia is a wonderful young lady, an absolutely wonderful
and joyous young lady. And I can tell you to please tell Olivia, yes, our elves in Santa
know sign language because we have a lot of boys and girls, a lot of boys and girls all over the
world that rely, that maybe can't hear and they have to rely on sign language so that they can
communicate. But Santa and his elves all have a way to communicate with every child, no matter what
the disability may be. It may be a child who's in a wheelchair or it may be a child who can't get
out of bed or it may be a child who can't see. I want all those children to know that Santa Claus
absolutely loves you and knows where you are and will always be there to help you. And like Olivia
said, it's so important that we be able to communicate our elves and Santa Claus with our
children that may have those types of things where they can't hear or they can't see or they can't
walk. Santa loves all of you equally. I think that's wonderful to hear. Thank you for sharing that
because I know how important it is to many people. If I can give at this point, we didn't get this
message sent to us. This is something that literally happened just the other day, Santa.
I'm not quite sure what she would ask, but this is from Layla, who we just met the other day.
Layla is a very brave young girl that has some challenges coming up. We just met her and we
want to send our best out to Layla. Layla is in Greenwood, Indiana. Yes, we are talking to you.
Santa, I know you know Layla. Can you tell us what Layla's favorite thing to do right now
is what does she like to play with?
JP, yes, I know Layla. JP, you and I had a nice little discussion about Layla and how wonderful
young lady she is. And I know that her favorite thing to do is Legos.
Now Layla, who else would know that? But your parents may be JP and of course Santa Claus.
There you go, Layla. Straight from Santa Claus. Who knows how strong and how brave you are.
And we all know that we're going to see you back, not only cheering, but on the track really soon.
So Layla, get well. Layla, Santa Claus is your biggest fan. Just remember that and JP
keeps in communication with me throughout the year. But I also know that you're a very,
very special little girl and I know you're going to be back on the track and Santa will be cheering,
cheering, and cheering as you come back. So Santa, again, I know how busy you are. I know
how busy your schedule is. I know Mrs. Claus keeps you on the ball and keeps you going in the right
direction as all the best partners do. I'd like to thank you for taking the time and pulling in
today to share these with us. Whether it's, you know, sleigh bells or spark plugs, you're always
there with the Christmas magic, sharing great things with the little boys and girls. And
