As Dale Earnhardt Jr. prepares for the Prime Video broadcast of NASCAR’s inaugural trip to San Diego, he sits down with road racing experts Shane Van Gisbergen and Connor Zilisch. With a length of nearly three-and-a-half miles, the track will be the longest that Cup has competed on since their visit to Road America in 2022. Dale Jr. ponders what NASCAR’s protocol on caution periods will be, as laps under yellow will take nearly six minutes to complete. The interview also discusses growing pains in the Cup Series, what each driver learned during their time in the O’Reilly Series, and what is on the horizon for Trackhouse Racing.
