00:22
Hello everyone, my name is Tom, welcome to the Eevee Show by Ludacris Feed Life.
00:49
Thanks so much for joining us.
00:51
Wednesday the 5th of November 2025. So good to see all of you in the live chat there.
00:57
Thanks so much for joining us. If you're watching this live, make sure you drop a comment to say
01:01
good day. If you're listening to us on audio podcasts, hello as well. And if you're watching
01:05
us on replay, good day. Drop a comment as well. Nice to see all of you. Should be good.
01:11
Should be good tonight. Lots to chat about as always. Got our regulars on as always. I can
01:17
see there. Just pause the music for one second. Let's just thank our sponsors once again.
01:22
Thank you to Hunkook Driving Emotion. Check out their 70,000 kilometer warranty Ion Eevee tires.
01:31
Thank you to Power Shop as well for their Eevee plans, day and night, depending on what you
01:35
need. Either free charging during the day or cheap charging at night. And also thank you
01:39
to Carloop Data to Empower Australia's Eevee Revolution. Speaking of Carloop, let's welcome
01:45
our co-host as always on the show. Hello, Riz. How are we doing?
01:51
Hey, Tom. Good to be back. I've been spending a lot of time in the Bonser Lounge over the last
01:57
basically week or so. And I did escape to come and say hi to you in Sydney and a few of our
02:04
viewers at the Eevee show. And then, yeah, back in the Bonser Lounge and back in Melbourne
02:11
now. So good to be on. We've got a lot of things to talk about, particularly some of the new Eevees,
02:20
the cheaper ones, the more expensive ones, and some of the more unexpected models that have been
02:27
announced. Yeah, that's right, Riz. Good to see that you got a leave pass from the Bonser Lounge.
02:31
I know you love it in there, but yeah, thanks for joining us. Mi Immortals down here in
02:35
Ludicrous Feedland. And it was really good to see you and Roland actually
02:40
during the Sydney Eevee show just on the weekend. And we saw a lot of our viewers as well. Thanks
02:46
for those of you who came up to say hello to me and Riz during the show. Riz particularly
02:51
was quite busy on stage and I was also doing a bit of running around as well and doing some
02:55
live reviews as well. So it's good to see people interested in the show and asking questions
03:00
and so on. Roland does send his apologies. He's got some family commitments this evening,
03:06
so we say hello to Roland. I'm sure we'll see him back soon. Riz, question to you. I guess what
03:10
was your highlight of the show? I'm sure you had many, but what were some of your highlights
03:14
over the weekend? I think it was just meeting some of our viewers. That was quite fun,
03:21
catching up with yourself, Roland, Daryl, a couple of the other guys that are usually
03:27
in the chat. And I guess just having a look around at the people that are looking at these Eevees
03:34
and those that came and sat down at the stage as audience to listen to some of the insights. And
03:43
we're getting past that early adoption stage now because throughout the whole three days,
03:48
I didn't get a question on how long will the battery last in an Eevee and is the grid
03:54
going to melt? All of those sort of things that we were used to getting a couple of years ago.
04:00
But yeah, it was really good to see the maturity in the market and some of the models that were on
04:05
display from some legacy automakers as well as some of the, let's call it, pretty hot sort of
04:12
Eevees at the moment like the Zika 7X, which I think you were at the live stage.
04:18
You know, that was quite good. What sort of reception did you get when you unveiled the 7X
04:24
to a few of the audience and partners that were coming into the show?
04:29
Yeah, I think that was quite a good reception, Riz. Yeah, I mean, yeah, you're right. There are
04:34
certainly, I think there's certainly a wide varied range of audience show goers these days.
04:41
It's not the early adopters. Like I said, some experienced campaigners looking for a new Eevee
04:46
or the second Eevee or third Eevee, but also there are some newbies lurking around as well,
04:50
which is good. Some of them are a little bit afraid to ask questions because, you know,
04:54
we are a little bit past that adoption phase. But yeah, it's good to just chat to them one-on-one
04:58
and get a gauge of what we're up to in the journey. And I did gauge every session I hosted
05:04
like who's curious for the first time about Eevees or who's buying an Eevee or who's
05:10
looking for the next Eevee purchase. So yeah, I think there was a wide variety of people,
05:14
which is fantastic. And yeah, the 7X was certainly well received. I think there's a lot of questions
05:19
about that. It was good to have Andrew or Melvin from Zika during those sessions I hosted
05:25
to answer those questions, as well as Andy from LeapMoto. We saw the B10 being
05:31
unveiled as well. And I did a few walk-arounds with Andy as well during those sessions. So
05:36
it was really, really good actually. But look at Riz, I think the car that stood out for
05:41
me must be the 7GT. I first saw this in China last or early this year and great to see that on
05:47
Australian soil as well. I'm sure a lot of our viewers saw it as well in Sydney.
05:50
Yeah, first time I think a lot of people got to see it up close and get a chance to sit in it and
05:56
sort of see how, you know, there's very few cars in our market that are like that.
06:02
I can't even remember the last time I saw a Taycan Cross Turismo on the road.
06:07
So usually you see them in sedans or a sashed wagon or shooting break.
06:13
They didn't confirm whether that was going to be coming to Australia. They did say if they could
06:18
gauge enough interest. So if anyone's interested, leave a comment in those Tom's videos specifically
06:25
about that car or the walk-arounds of the show. And that way at least Zika Australia knows
06:31
whether how hard to push for that sort of vehicle to get to the Australian market hopefully in 2026.
06:37
I told Andrew from Zika that I have never had such a positive response about a vehicle
06:42
as the 7GT did in the walk around that me and Riz did during the show.
06:46
Honestly, it was I would say 99% positive and mouthwatering kind of comments saying
06:52
bring it to Australia. I'll drop my 7X to positive for the 7GT comes tomorrow, that
06:56
kind of thing. So yeah, I think I can honestly say hand to heart never seen such a positive response.
07:02
So yeah, hopefully the Zika team take those comments to heart and we'll hopefully see that
07:06
next year. Who knows? I don't have any info. So I can't tell you guys publicly anyway. So
07:11
we'll see what happens. Yeah, well, I want to say hello to some of our viewers who've
07:15
joined us nice and early on the show. 126 viewers already. Let's say hello to Richard
07:20
who's now counting down to everything electric. Got some news about that as well. So stay
07:23
tuned about that and the AVEA show is as well the everything. So the Australian Electric Vehicle
07:29
Association conference is also on the set a few days before the EE show comes on too.
07:37
Hello to Sir Nakramanta. Hello there. Nice to see you. Hello, Aaron Crofts. Hello,
07:41
Jim. Yes, I saw Jim as well at the show. Hello, nice to see you. Hello, my coots,
07:47
me coots. I keep getting your name wrong. You did say hello to you, but hello there,
07:52
me coots. Meek, he went to the EEV show in Sydney met Tom and Riz. Absolutely, yes.
07:57
Thank you. Nice to catch up with you there. Hello, Gary. Hi from Melbourne,
08:01
nearly A2 EEV family. That's great. Hello, Andrew. Nice to see you. Hello,
08:06
Midge from Team Seal. Go Team Seal. It's been a great day in Sydney. Very nice weather.
08:10
Hello, Lewis. Nice to see you there. And everyone else who's joined us nice and early
08:15
too. So many comments, Riz. It's so good to see you. Hello, Gaffa. Nice to see you there.
08:20
And yeah, give us your comments about the Sydney EEV show. Leave that in the chat,
08:27
whether you were there in person or whether you watched our videos and just what was your
08:32
general impression? What was your favourite card that you saw in the video or in person?
08:35
Great to see your thoughts there. Hello, Strolling Sydney. Hello, Siam.
08:39
Yeah, great. Thanks everyone for joining us tonight.
08:43
All right. Let's just talk about the next show coming up, actually,
08:51
which is the Everything Electric show in two weeks time. So we do have a ticket offer in
08:57
the comments section. So leave that if you want to get some tickets. I've got a Ludicrous Feed
09:04
ticket offer. I think it's 20% off currently. So check out that link in the video description
09:09
below. But we are also giving away some tickets tonight as well. Five double passes
09:13
for you guys to win. So all you need to do is actually do a hashtag, everything in the chat.
09:19
So just hashtag everything, one entry per viewer. It's a little reward for you guys
09:24
for joining us live. And just be honest, if you're in Melbourne, try, you know,
09:29
obviously enter. But if you're not in Melbourne, or if you can't make the show, try not to
09:33
enter. Leave it for someone else who can enter the show or go to the show rather.
09:37
So hashtag everything will draw a few tickets tonight. So five double passes for
09:42
the Everything Electric show in Melbourne. First time in Melbourne is debut, which is
09:47
good to see. Yeah, that's right. I think that'd be, you know, first time's always very hard in a new
09:55
location. So at the show grounds, we will see how it sort of pans out. We do know that Tesla
10:03
is going to be there. We know that Zika is going to be there, but a couple of other brands as well.
10:10
And, you know, apparently the venue seems to be very spacious. So for anyone that's been before,
10:17
and a little bit different to all the other sort of EV shows we've had in Melbourne, which
10:22
have been at the convention center. Yeah, I had a look at the floor plan actually earlier
10:26
today. And I'm not sure if it's publicly available yet, but it certainly looks very
10:30
promising. There's some brands there that may not have been at the Sydney show and it looks
10:34
like quite a big footprint too. So looking forward to that. Question for us, Riz. Great
10:39
to see all the cars at the EV show in Sydney. Question for Tom between the Polestar 4 and
10:43
the Zika 007 GT. What would be your pick? Are they on the same platform? That is a tough
10:48
question. I think we don't know the price yet for the 7 GT. We did have a little guessing
10:53
little competition between me and Riz at the show. But yeah, they're both gorgeous looking
10:57
vehicles. I would say Riz, the Zika 7 GT still pips the post for me between Polestar 4 and
11:04
Zika. I mean, what are your thoughts on that? Yeah, I think the 7 GT is definitely own.
11:10
Basically, it's a 7X in terms of its underpinnings from our technology point of view. So it will
11:18
be one of the fastest charging, if not the fastest charging vehicle on the market.
11:23
Then I think, having driven the Polestar 4, it's a really good handling car. The software could
11:35
be a little bit better. So I guess we'll have to play around with Zika software, but yeah,
11:40
I'd go with the 7 GT as well. Yeah, good point on the software. I think the 7X software was
11:45
quite impressive. So just on that alone, I probably picked the 7 GT. And if the rumors
11:50
are true, it could be 0 to 100 in under three seconds, so the all-wheel drive could be very
11:54
compelling. And we know the 7X drives very well as well. So if the price is right, Sergio,
12:00
and everyone else, I think the 7 GT could be a bit of a winner from what we can see. But not
12:04
to say the Polestar 4 is not a nice car, the 7 GT could be a nice pick up next year indeed.
12:11
Question from Gaffa 48 month member. How good is that Riz? Four years as a member on the
12:16
channel. Well done, Gaffa, you are a legend. What's the biggest changes you guys have
12:20
seen in the EV space in the last four years? Feels like a long time now. That's a great question.
12:27
I think for me, it's got to be the rise of China, rise of Chinese cars. That has been
12:31
a phenomenal turnaround in the last four years. There was pretty much what in 2021,
12:36
Tesla, I don't think BYD had even arrived in the country. Tesla, the Koreans were around,
12:41
some of the Europe, not even the Europeans. I mean, we do some Audi's, expensive BMWs,
12:45
but it was Tesla or pretty much nothing, Nissan Leaf. But yeah, the Chinese cars have certainly
12:50
jumped on the same Riz. Thoughts? Yeah, I remember from memory, I think it was midway through 2022,
13:02
late 2022, I drove the Taycan. That was probably from the European front. That was what was coming.
13:09
But yeah, I mean, since sort of BYD started, 2023, we sort of got to see the Addo 3,
13:21
and then the war was next. I think the Dolphin was next, then the Seal, and yeah,
13:27
Sealine 7, Shark. But yes, MG was around. I think MG was around in 2021.
13:34
And they've obviously had a couple of iterations since. We've seen the prices come down quite a bit,
13:43
including those of Tesla. So yeah, just different price points have meant so many
13:50
more people can have EVs as an accessible vehicle, which just wasn't there a couple of years ago.
13:56
Yeah, so good. Agreed. I mean, and the charging network as well for me is really,
14:01
really populated the Australian landscape. Tesla, I think, has really stepped up as well.
14:07
They've really opened up the charging network to other cars as well, particularly in the last
14:11
one to two years. So I'm really happy to see that and other CPOs as well. Even the fossil fuel
14:15
companies, Ampol, BP, started to populate their service stations with chargers too. So it is
14:20
starting to get much easier to road trip at an EV. So yeah, I think it's only good times
14:25
ahead Riz, which is great. You know what? I'm going to reward some of the early viewers
14:29
who've put hashtag everything and do an early draw Riz. 15 minutes in. Let's do an early draw
14:34
for our early draw for the everything electric show in Melbourne. First time in Melbourne.
14:40
Remember, hashtag everything. And we will probably draw that right now for the first of five
14:45
double passes tonight. So let's do that right now. Only one entry per viewer. And look,
14:52
there's only 11 entries. So I've got five to give away tonight. That's a very good chance
14:55
you guys could win. So let's have a look first winner for tonight is make sure you are from
15:01
Melbourne or at least you can get to the show. Unfortunately, my name is there. I guess I had
15:06
to put hashtag everything Matt De La Cruz. Matt, you are the first winner of a double pass to
15:11
the Melbourne. Everything electric shows. So make sure you send me an email Tom at ludicrousfeed.com
15:17
and we will send you out those double tickets for the show in a couple of weekends. I will
15:22
be there on a Saturday night and Saturday night, Saturday, I won't be there Saturday night,
15:26
but I'll be there Saturday and Riz will be there as well all weekend, I believe. So
15:31
should be good. All right, we'll do a draw in probably about 10, 15 minutes time. So get
15:36
those entries in hashtag everything. Let's jump into our first story for the evening Riz. So
15:41
that is the fact that Tesla sales, the headline reads from the driven Tesla sales slump in
15:47
October as Model 3 numbers hit lowest level in years. Walk us through this one.
15:53
Yeah, so, you know, October being the first month of the quarter and generally first months
15:59
in every quarter, a little bit slow. That's just the way the Tesla cycles work these days.
16:06
It's, it was one unit short in October compared to what it was in July. So in total, I think
16:13
916 Teslas were sold in October. The bulk of them were of course model wise.
16:20
And then the Model 3, you know, was 181 sales, which, you know, I had to go back a couple of
16:30
years to find a month where they sold less Model 3s. And I think sort of we ended up in 2022
16:39
when there were some months where they sold no cars,
16:42
purely because of the shipment. So yeah, that's that's Tesla story for the month. We don't officially
16:51
have the data for all the other brands. It was supposed to come, I think today, likely tomorrow
16:55
now. And then Polestar, of course, had a few 154 sales. Surprisingly, the Polestar 3
17:03
outsold the Polestar 4. And the Polestar 2 had 10 units maybe because the 2026 model
17:12
year is nearly here. And it's getting a little bit of a refresh. So yeah, that basically sums up early data.
17:25
Tom, sorry you're on mute.
17:27
Thanks, Riaz. Sorry, someone's trying to silence me. But no, I will say that. But Tesla sales
17:34
obviously tend to increase at the end of each quarter. Hence, as you said, sales will be down
17:40
at the start of each one, which is sort of understandable. That's the trend we've been
17:43
seeing. But yeah, I mean, 100 and something sales for Model 3 is concerning. But I think,
17:47
you know, the new refresh Model 3 with the Storks is coming, the long range
17:51
rule drive. Maybe people are waiting for that as well. So we'll see.
17:54
We'll probably need to average and average out these numbers for Tesla. Not excusing the brand,
17:58
but I'm just saying, you know, for a more balanced, realistic look, we should probably
18:01
average these numbers out over the years. Yeah, I was going to say, and also the Model Y
18:05
performance hasn't really had any deliveries. You know, I don't expect it to see a huge spike
18:11
on the back of the Y performance entering the market. But yeah, one other quick point in
18:20
quarter three, they had, you know, a trade in bonus. Like if you trade in in your old vehicle
18:28
and bought a model in stock Model 3 or Model Y, I think they gave you a $3,000 bonus or something
18:36
so off the price of your car that you're purchasing. Also, there's been a little bit of
18:42
noise off the back of the FSD supervised being released in September. I guess October sales
18:51
haven't really reflected, you know, that we've got it in as a subscription now as well.
19:01
So I guess keep an eye out on the inventory pages for Tesla and see if there's any
19:07
discounting occurring on used or not used, but near new or new inventory that they've got in stock.
19:15
And then I guess we'll closely follow in November and December to close the year off.
19:21
Should be good. Very interesting times ahead. I think some good numbers coming, I'm sure,
19:27
towards Christmas. Sim says, I think the facelifted Teslas look great. FSD is here.
19:32
I'd seriously consider one if I didn't have an amazing seal already. Yeah,
19:35
so much choice, isn't it? Gaffer says, yeah, people have options now, absolutely,
19:39
which is great. Love Model 3, but it's Hardware 3. So that is still a bit of a pain point for
19:43
Model 3 owners. Still can't access the full self-driving supervised software just yet. So,
19:48
yeah, we'll see what happens. We'll watch this space.
19:51
And then this week has been just while we're talking hardware very quickly.
19:56
This week on the social medias of the world, Elon Musk has been having a fair few design
20:04
review meetings with the Teslas chip design team on Hardware 5. And apparently, Hardware 5 will go
20:14
into limited production in the second half of 2026, with mass production happening in 2027.
20:23
They have two suppliers. One will be, what are they called? TSMC? Yeah, the Taiwanese
20:31
company, the biggest chip maker. And I think the other one was Samsung or LG. I get confused by
20:40
the Korean ones. But they will both be making them in the US for the US car make manufacturing.
20:49
And I'm assuming they're going to be doing the same thing globally. So,
20:52
yeah, it appears Hardware 5 is only around the corner.
20:56
Yeah, that's good. I mean, look, it's good to have better software and hardware. And hopefully,
21:02
Hardware 4 will continue to be supported in years to come as well. And Hardware 3.
21:06
And Hardware 3. Of course, we haven't forgotten you. We'll keep an eye on that for sure.
21:12
Yeah, let's keep pushing on. Don't forget to put hashtag everything in your chat, guys,
21:16
if you want to win one of five, well, one of four passes, now double passes for the
21:20
Everything Electric show in Melbourne. Roland can't be with us tonight, but he did
21:25
share with us that the acceleration boost is now here for Tesla Model Y long range for a low,
21:30
low price of $3,000. Gets you from 4.8 seconds to 4.3 seconds for 0 to 100 if you really want
21:36
that kind of thing. Look, the cheapest top spec option I've seen in a while.
21:43
So anyone that's interested, acceleration boost, Model Y long range.
21:48
What's interesting too is that with the advent of the long range rural drive Tesla Model 3,
21:53
the only all-wheel drive Tesla Model 3 you now get is the all-wheel drive performance, right?
21:58
So interesting marketing strategy there. I wonder whether Model Y will have the same
22:03
treatment in what six months time. We'll see. There is just for our viewers and listeners
22:11
benefit, there is a Model Y long range, rural drive that has been submitted to the ministry
22:19
of information and technology I think in China, which is awaiting public
22:27
basically opinion on that car before it gets approved, which means it's about to go into
22:31
manufacturing. So yeah, 2026 we might see that the performance all-wheel drive variants are
22:40
the only all-wheel drive variants in Tesla's lineup. I feel like being in a relatively dry
22:48
climate like Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, I think the long-range rural drive for any car is quite
22:53
the sweet spot in our climate. I would probably only buy the all-wheel drive if I was consistently
22:58
going to the snow or if it rained a lot maybe that might be useful if the roads were slippery,
23:03
but I think generally in Sydney most times of the year it's fairly dry. So yeah, I've always
23:07
got it sort of gone for the long-range rural drive option. So good to see Tesla jumping on board
23:11
with that too. All righty, Ben says loving FSD, good, I've driven about 3000Ks already,
23:18
oh that's fantastic. Few other EVs I'd love but FSD would keep me with Tesla. That's a fair point,
23:23
that's a fair point and yeah I think that's obviously the future I guess which companies
23:28
will bring out autonomy or you know high level two autonomy to the country, right? Obviously
23:34
the Chinese brands come to mind X-Peng, X-NGP, let's see what the Geely bring their cars,
23:39
autonomy, BYD, obviously Godzire is, will God's I be gracing our streets? These are the questions
23:45
for coming years, we'll see. Look at this, at this stage if we can get the add-on one and add-on two
23:51
here under Godzire, with the pricing we'll be pretty happy. God willing, that's right,
23:58
we'll keep an eye on that too. I don't think it's far away the add-on one, add-on two
24:01
official launch and pricing, so I think keep an eye everyone. I think it's getting very
24:06
close, a little birdie is told me. Alrighty, let's do a draw again. I'm feeling generous tonight,
24:13
so hashtag everything for one of five, which we've already drawn one double pass, so one of five
24:19
double passes to the Everything Electric show, it's Dave Bue and Melbourne 14th to the 16th
24:23
of November. Hashtag everything in the chat, we will draw again, we had a winner already,
24:29
let me just put this up here, the giveaway tool from Streamyer, there it is,
24:33
Matt De La Cruz was our first winner. Let's draw again, one of 20 entries, let's go. Make sure
24:39
you are able to go to the show, just be honest with us guys, and let people who can go to the
24:44
show enter. That'd be nice of you as our audience. Zafis, congratulations Zafis,
24:50
you are our second winner of the Double Pass giveaway to the Everything Electric
24:55
show in Melbourne, so make sure you email me, tommatlutacrisfee.com for
24:59
details on how to get your double pass for two weekends time.
25:05
All right, let's push on with some charging news, so it is, you spotted one, well at least you
25:12
reposted one that Tesla posted of a supercharger in East Lakes, East Lakes is, I believe this is
25:18
at the East Lakes, it's called East Lakes, East Gardens, I think it is shopping centre,
25:22
could be wrong, in south of Sydney, eight stalls.
25:26
Look, I had no idea Tom, I thought it was in Brisbane to begin with in North Lakes,
25:31
but I had to look it up on the map, some Tesla's website, and it looks somewhere
25:37
close to the airport, so you know, I put it there, usually I don't make it out of the
25:41
Bonser Lounge at Sydney airport, but apparently it's not far, is it far?
25:48
No, no, East Lakes, I think it's pretty close, let me just double check before I say
25:51
anything, if this is the same shopping centre I'm thinking of, then it's, I think that's the one,
25:57
yeah, East Lakes is not far at all, it's like, it's yeah, sort of the southeast corner of Sydney,
26:05
just it is close to the airport, might be a new shopping centre, it is East Gardens,
26:09
thank you Gene, I thought it was it, I thought this was in Pagewood actually,
26:12
but they're calling it East Lakes now, but it's, look, it's great, it's undercover,
26:16
we've got eight stalls, well lit, well signed, so that's very good, I'm glad to see.
26:24
I don't think it's Bondi Junction, could be wrong, I think it's actually close to the airport, I
26:29
believe, let me just see what Tesla's map shows, just so we are all over this before we
26:37
show you, hang on, could be, here we go, yeah, so let me just share this tab guys, so that's
26:44
that's the map East Lakes, so that is very close to the airport, yeah, oh look, Pagewood's down here,
26:51
so maybe it's not the same shopping centre I'm thinking of, but it is around that sort of new
26:56
proximity to the airport, check out the pricing, that's giving it away, that's cheap isn't it,
27:03
41 cents for Tesla owners after hours, that's phenomenal, 10pm to 9am is 41 cents, yeah,
27:11
just don't charge between 9 and 10 for everyone else, almost a dollar there per kilowatt hour,
27:15
if you're not a Tesla member, yeah, it seems those East Gardens are not far away, okay, yep, thank you,
27:22
East Lakes is in the suburb East Gardens, Westfield is in, right, okay, look, whatever it is,
27:27
it's close, it's good to see more chargers in Sydney, I'm very happy with that,
27:33
and speaking of chargers, we've got, we've got, this is one of our viewers who sent us
27:39
this picture, this is, let me just see, remind me, this is Graham W, okay, so Graham says he noticed
27:46
two new chargers pop up almost overnight in the Nixon Street car park in Shepparton, I think that's
27:51
in Victoria, courtesy of NRMA, 140 kilowatt charging, about 79 cents per kilowatt hour,
27:57
one Chatham-O and three CCS-2 points, which is quite sensible for that setup,
28:03
Shepparton's pretty big town, Riz, in Victoria?
28:06
Yeah, and these appear to be, I think, ABB units, so European tech in Shepparton,
28:18
but yeah, I think more charging, this must be part of that national network,
28:23
you know, that they received some funding for, so yeah, I wonder how many sites have been
28:29
rolled out, I think there were 117 as part of the original plan, so they are starting to pop up,
28:36
but yeah, good pickup, Graham. Yeah, thanks, Graham, and look, if anyone sees any, you know,
28:41
interesting chargers, even unusual chargers, make sure you tag me and Riz or Roland on
28:47
socials, and we'll talk about them on the next stream, of course. Yeah, let's push on,
28:55
now this is interesting too, Riz, so I think this is Graham's car possibly, this is a Ford Mustang
29:01
Mark II, the red one, so not many of those around, but they are a cool-looking vehicle, I must say.
29:06
They're pretty good to drive as well. A rural drive, yeah, biggest battery, I think some of
29:13
them have LFPs, right, in sub-parts level. Yeah, I think even here, the entry level one,
29:19
I think it's called the select variant was an LFP. Okay, thanks Darryl, good to see you in Sydney
29:29
as well, loved your IM5 charging video, such a great result, yeah, you're happy to see that.
29:34
Yeah, good to see more of those big, big fast charging units, 400 kilowatts, I know it's a
29:38
truck charger with the pull-through, but still going to test the IM6, which is technically,
29:43
I guess, well, not technically anymore, but one of the fastest charging EVs in Australia,
29:48
Zika 7x just pips it at the post once again. Yeah, Natan, just talking about fast charging and
29:57
generally we like to cover, you know, good news and other things around the EV industry,
30:04
but one of the fastest charging cars in the world that you and I I think saw for the
30:10
first time when we were in China in June last year was the Lee Mega and it is a very cool looking car
30:23
and in July, I had a chance to sit in the back of one and do a bit of an intercity trip,
30:29
really, really cool car, but in the last probably two weeks, one of them spontaneously
30:36
combusted. I saw that. Yes. Now, I think it's worth just raising the fact that on the back of that incident,
30:50
Lee Auto did an investigation fairly quickly and put out a recall for about 11,500
31:02
Lee Megas, which is half of all Lee Megas that have been sold. It has a CATL battery in it
31:10
and from memory, they've worked out that it's not the battery itself. It was something to do
31:18
with the thermal management system in some units where which they have pinpointed as the sort
31:25
of main cause. Luckily, in this particular incident, no one was hurt. The occupants got out of the car
31:35
and that was all okay, but Lee Auto really took the responsibility pretty quickly and said they've
31:44
worked with everybody and they're still continuing to work on the investigation
31:48
as to what has been the real, real root cause, but they've put out a recall pretty quickly
31:53
as they've identified some issues. So this car wasn't charging, but it is one of the fastest
32:00
charging cars available on the market. So yeah, just thought I'll raise it as more of a
32:08
community service message around that these incidents are occurring, but as soon as they
32:15
occur, there's a pretty serious investigation and at least it's not the battery pack itself
32:22
that has been pinpointed as the root cause because those packs could be in a whole variety of
32:28
different models, not only those by Lee Auto, especially if it's a CATL issue, which in this
32:34
case it wasn't. Yeah, that's good. Thanks for highlighting that. We tried to talk about the
32:38
good and the bad when it comes to EVs. I'm glad you said that. I did see this real this week
32:42
and obviously you got to examine each reel carefully these days to make sure it's not
32:46
fake or AI, but yeah, it looked pretty legit and you're right. People saw the occupants jump out
32:51
of the car pretty quickly, which I'm glad to see and it wasn't charging. It was just driving
32:55
like these pictures show. It was just driving across an intersection. They just suddenly
32:59
started to hiss and smoke and as EVs do when they go into thermal runaway and then it just
33:04
yeah, it's lit up like this and yeah, interesting that it's not the battery, but still it's
33:09
you know, it's still part of the vehicle. If it's the battery management system,
33:13
good that Lee is investigating this. They are rare, of course, but they need to be treated seriously.
33:18
So again, we're glad people weren't hurt, but hopefully Lee will come to the bottom of it and
33:24
yeah, sort out those 11 odd thousand vehicles that have been recalled. So good to see.
33:31
Yeah, well, I don't know. It's not necessarily just the LFP battery pack. Well, I think,
33:36
you know, if it's the BMS, it could be any battery pack, right? I mean, is the Lee
33:42
equipped with LFP or NMC? I'm not sure, actually. Yeah, I'm not entirely sure. It must be a big pack
33:49
because it is a big car. Yeah, it's a big car. I've seen those in China. They are massive people
33:54
movers. So anyway, we will keep an eye on that and keep you up to date with the story
34:01
as it unfolds, of course. Yes, they are rare, but they are quite spectacular when these EVs
34:05
fires do occur. Okay, let's push on. There is now the big banana and coughs,
34:14
however, anyone who's ever driven in northern New South Wales will know the famous landmark and
34:18
there were some temporary superchargers there at one stage and looks like they might be back,
34:24
which is great because it is a very unique, very iconic landmark in New South Wales.
34:31
Let's have a look. So it looks like there's like at least 10, I can see 10 stalls, possibly more
34:39
in the works. It's great because coughs harbour already has six at the shopping centre Pacific
34:44
Fair and then there's somewhere at Mooney Beach, which is not far away in about 15 minutes up
34:50
the road. It's like there's like 10 there, 10 or 12 there and now there's some more at the
34:54
big banana. So coughs harbour is now replete with superchargers, which is great.
35:00
Yeah, so these are obviously permanent 15 odd stalls and what I guess you can pick bananas
35:10
not far from there. Love these spy shots are great. It's really a banana canopy.
35:19
That's good. It's actually not a bad place to stop for lunch, to be honest with you.
35:25
So and the kids love it. There's like, you know, there's like a water slide and you can probably
35:30
spend half a day there to be honest with you. And so yeah, good to see, good to see.
35:35
And it coughs harbour being pretty much halfway between Sydney and the Gold Coast
35:41
and the trip between Sydney and the Gold Coast is now getting faster with better roads
35:44
and now with more superchargers, even easier road trip for EV. So thank you Tesla once again.
35:50
Yeah, it was not probably not quite in time for the bypass. Yeah, maybe you said
35:53
it meant to be in a couple of years time, the bypass, but it is coming. It'll make that trip
35:57
even faster. But then you might have to stop in coughs, I guess, if you have to charge up.
36:01
That's the only thing. I'll stop in Mooney Beach if you don't want to stop.
36:05
Yeah, that's right. That's right. Mecoots. Yes, great rest stop, laser guns. It's good.
36:12
Indeed, coughs harbour is a good place.
36:16
View from the big banana charters was great. Yeah, it was good in the past.
36:20
Yes, that's right. They were temporary, temporary. Good times, eh?
36:23
Good times for us early adopters before they took them down.
36:28
William says, Lee Mega uses an MC. Okay. Thank you. Thank you.
36:34
Alrighty. Yeah, let's push on. So now we were talking about Ato1.
36:40
I still want to call it the seagull. I don't know. Ato1 is just not the same, right?
36:43
Seagull is like an iconic name.
36:45
Well, Tom, if anyone's looking for debadging and rebadging services on there,
36:49
Ato1's to seagull, we might offer that as a ludicrous feed special.
36:57
So in some parts of Australia, you can park a car and your wheels go missing,
37:01
we might have to debadge a vehicle and rebadge it with a little seagull logo.
37:06
I think it should be called up badging risk. Upspecking.
37:10
Upspeck, that's right. It may not be Roland spec, but it could be something else spec.
37:16
Yeah, but speaking of Roland, yeah, thanks Roland for posting this.
37:19
So Ato1 pre-orders now open. Deliveries commencing early 2026. So no pricing as yet,
37:27
but this could actually sell quite well, I think, for a nice little city car.
37:33
Hoping for a five-star in Capris or I reckon maybe four-star.
37:36
I think you've got five stars in Euro and Cap, so expecting something similar here.
37:42
Good. Yeah, Mitch says huge seagull decal in the bonnet like a 70s trans and eagle.
37:48
Yes. Awesome. Awesome. Yeah, Michael, seagull, I agree. It's got to be called seagull.
37:55
Santa says, Ato1 might be my first DV. Excellent. Just waiting for the pricing to be announced.
37:59
Yeah. I mean, there's been discussion on some of the media outlets saying it could be 25 grand.
38:04
It could be the cheapest new EV in Australia. So watch this space. I can come very close
38:10
to that price. Perfect for food delivery. Yeah, 100% Jeanette. I mean, I'd prefer to drive
38:15
this over an EE bike to be honest with you. Might be safer. We'll see.
38:22
Burpu on the windscreen. Oh, that's a lucky day. Leave that on the windscreen if it's a seagull.
38:30
Yeah, William says go to Taobao by the Chinese letter seagull badge. Oh, yeah, that would be,
38:34
that would be something else. That'd be very special.
38:39
Yeah, Tony, 25K for the seagull. Yep, that's right. I'm hoping to.
38:43
Oh, Sergio says, once did the Brisbane and Sydney in a rented Tesla thanks to Tom's videos. That's
38:48
great. I think I met Riz charging Sydney as well in his pollster. Wow. Celebrity. Hollywood Riz.
38:54
Hope you got a photo. Very good. All right. Now, let's do another draw actually. Before we do
39:03
that, let's thank our sponsors for the evening. Let's thank you to put that up here, guys.
39:09
Sorry. Thank you to Han Cook driving Emotion for EV tyres. Ion range 70,000 kilometer warranty,
39:16
which is pretty good for an EV tyre. Thank you to Power Shop as well for your EV plans.
39:20
We've got day and night plans. Night plans if you want a cheap rate. Day plans if you want
39:24
free charging during the day. And of course, thank you to Carloop. Thank you Riz, Data Jump
39:29
Power Australia's EV Revolution. Let's do another giveaway for the everything electric show.
39:37
So again, tickets, we've got a link in the video description for discounted tickets. Otherwise,
39:43
let's do another giveaway. We've given two double passes ready. We've got three more to go. So
39:47
let's do that right now. Hashtag everything. If you want to get into the draw for these passes,
39:53
let's do that one more time for you guys. Let's see who's going to win.
39:58
Hakui. I'm sorry if I pronounced that wrong. Hakui. You have won our third double pass for
40:09
the evening for the everything electric show in Melbourne at the Flemington showgrounds,
40:13
which was quite utilised this week, I'm sure, with the Melbourne Cup. But yeah,
40:19
so send me an email at www.TomatLudacrisFeed.com for details on how to get your
40:24
double pass to the Melbourne everything electric show and making its debut.
40:29
Okay. Great. Thanks, guys. Keep those hashtags coming.
40:34
All right. Let's keep pushing on. So that's the Seagull and the Atto twos as Darryl has
40:42
highlighted in the country already ready to push out. Seen on the current affair with Overstock.
40:48
They love to post these pictures, don't they? These media outlets,
40:52
you know, these lots of cars sitting in parking lots around Australia. Plenty of
40:57
Atto twos amongst the vehicles. We can see there.
41:03
Some Sea Line 7s as well. Yeah, plenty, plenty there. A few Atto twos in between them.
41:12
That's good. Atto twos, we're thinking 35 grand perhaps, hopefully less.
41:16
Yeah, 35 to 37. Can't be too much further because then you get into the Atto three,
41:20
which just starts at around 39, 990 plus on roads, I think, for essentials.
41:25
Yep. Yeah, very compelling. Yeah, BYD certainly filling up their fleet for sure.
41:30
How many at Sydney Water Park Car Park? Yeah, yeah, every, yeah. Theme Park Car Park is getting
41:35
some of these BYDs. They're going to put them somewhere.
41:39
Yeah. Again, I think the launch price will be very soon, guys. So Atto could be good,
41:45
good pricing. Sergio, oh, yeah, about 35K fallen roads for me, could, yep.
41:50
And Sergio saying 1.88 finance at the moment for BYDs.
41:53
Okay, that's pretty good. In keeping with the 8.8 theme. It's good.
42:00
Okay, so now Jim, Jim also posted this week, what car is this? I think I don't know what this is, but
42:07
let's give our audience some time to think I'll look the answers already here.
42:11
There's no point guessing. Yes, it is the BYD out of one Seagull Dolphin Mini Dolphin
42:16
Surf, whatever you want to call it. Spot it in Sydney again with a bit of camo.
42:20
It's got a body kit with side skirts that are coming off.
42:28
Dangling. This is unusual. We normally see camo in gray or black. Blue is a bit unusual, right?
42:37
Yeah, I think that's a pretty typical BYD camo, which is there to be seen and spotted.
42:44
So I think that's its main purpose. It's not there to hide anything.
42:50
I do recall when the seal was kind of under wraps, they used the same colored camo.
42:55
I remember a picture of it on a tow truck. Yeah, Lewis was saying that's how my
43:01
wrap skills will look like. Yeah, that's me wrapping the kids' books in the summer
43:07
for the start of the new school year with contact. Jeanses love the Povopak steel wheels.
43:14
Yeah, harsh but fair. Yep. I think that is the entry-level model with those wheels that work.
43:23
Oh no, surely not. Essentials.
43:29
So Nils, there's this point of BYD didn't bring the larger battery with the 150
43:33
kilowatt charging version of the Auto 2. That's available in the UK. Yeah, okay.
43:37
Could be, I guess, price that they think they can win from a pricing point of view with the
43:49
base spec at Auto 2.
43:53
Richard's thinking maybe the Auto 1 and 2 might, the pricing might come out of EE in Melbourne.
43:58
Yeah, that's not a bad strategy. No, do the unveil. Like Jku did at the Sydney show.
44:04
That was quite interesting. Unveil with the J5, Range Rover lookalike.
44:13
I think the base model of those of steel wheels, I'm pretty sure it does.
44:16
Yeah, okay. Right. Okay, all right. Yeah, the MG4 was released or announced at the
44:25
electric show on Sydney a couple of years ago, so it could be the same strategy.
44:28
More cars under wraps. Here we go. So two deep owls. Jim spotted as well. Spotted previously,
44:36
and this Camo car arrived at the Crown Plaza in Macquarie Park. I think it was, it's a deep,
44:42
it's what, a Mazda 6E. What do you reckon, Riz?
44:45
Yeah, I think it's obviously one of those, well, I think there must be a couple because
44:54
sometimes spotted in Victoria and then obviously this time in New South Wales.
45:00
Yeah, definitely the 6E. I think they put out a press release, second quarter,
45:06
Australian launch and deliveries. Okay. And it's ready, six.
45:12
What do we honestly think about the 6E? I mean, look, it's a Mazda brand. We in the know look,
45:17
know it's a deep owl. Is it LS6? Which one is it? LO7? Something like that? It's a sedan?
45:25
I think Darryl might know. He's a deep owl guru.
45:31
Let me have a look it up. I forget the actual deep owl, but it is a deep owl underpinnings,
45:37
but look, people won't know it's a deep owl and it's okay, but people know that. Will
45:41
the brand name Mazda attract more EV buyers to that brand? Right? That's the question.
45:47
Yeah. And I guess the next question is, will anyone buy a sedan in 2026?
45:54
Very sad. I do love sedan as you guys know, but it is a hard sell these days, unfortunately.
46:01
Underpinnings is deep owl LO7. That's what it is. And SO7 as well. Same platform.
46:07
EPA1, Chang'an owned platform. Richard says, does anyone want to feel like
46:12
wrapping their car in camo just to wind up the car spotters? Yeah, why not, right? Why not?
46:20
Yeah, big plates. That's right. Good spot as well. Yeah, registered in Victoria.
46:27
Yeah, thanks Jim for that pick. Couldn't sneak up to take more picks as someone in the back.
46:31
Yeah. Okay, fair. You being respectful. Don't look too creepy.
46:36
Are they bringing the Mazda EZ60 electric SUV? Yeah, that could do well actually.
46:41
Yeah, we'll see. Keep those spy shots coming.
46:47
Okay, and Sennacherim answer says, only if the car stands up to the badge, people will still buy it.
46:50
Yep. I guess that's for us to decide, us to test and let everyone know.
46:55
Okay, now Riz, this might get you excited. Honda, another Japanese brand launching its city EV
47:01
in Australia in 2026 with noises to mimic gear changes.
47:05
Now, if that's what all Honda fans have been waiting for, for those that know VTech just kicked in bro,
47:13
that's what this is about. This is basically, think of a Honda Civic Type R, but in a hatchback
47:20
format and all electric. So that's what this thing is unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show,
47:26
expected to arrive in middle of 2026 in Australia. What price, I don't know,
47:34
it's got to be cheaper than a Hyundai and stuff. Surely. It does look cool though, it does look cool.
47:41
3.6 meters, so it is tiny. It is smaller than the A0 ones, smaller than the Insta.
47:46
Insta's 40 grand driver, well before on roads, it has to be, has to be sub that, surely.
47:55
And in true K car fashion, it looks fantastic, looks zippy. I know Riz will get one,
48:00
I've asked him that before, he'd get a K car in a heartbeat.
48:04
2026, that's good. I mean the Honda E was kind of hopeful for our markets, but this looks more promising.
48:11
Yeah, Honda E went to the UK, right hand drive. So this, it does, I mean, the biggest thing in
48:17
that shot is the steering wheel. So, Honda, if you can supply one with a Momo steering wheel,
48:23
which is a lot smaller, there'd be a lot of, you know, race K car enthusiasts that would
48:30
consider one very strongly. And obviously, they are keeping on with that minimalist interior.
48:36
There's very few buttons in there.
48:39
Minimalist is one thing, Riz, but this feels like a retro 1990s kind of car. We've owned
48:43
Hondas, our family, in the past. And this feels like, it brings me back to my childhood,
48:48
or at least early teens, when we had a Honda. Yeah, I do like the Honda brand,
48:53
just for what it stands for. So yeah, love to test more Japanese EVs, that's for sure.
48:58
35 kilowatt hour battery pack. So kind of on par with the Atto one.
49:02
So this, these were sort of the specs I could pull up for the Honda E.
49:07
So Honda E had 113 kilowatt motor and 35.5 kilowatts to 120 kilometers a range.
49:15
Yep. That is a tiny car. Now, that'd be so much fun, honestly. Yeah, hopefully we get invited
49:24
to something like that, Riz, some sort of media day or just to check it out.
49:27
That's right. And if BYD, if you're listening, there's competition coming. We need the BYD
49:32
Racco or the BYD Sea Otta. That's right. Thanks so far. Thanks for reminding us. Yes, BYD Racco,
49:40
aka Sea Otta. Very good. Yeah. By the way, good to see Zofa at the Sydney EV show as well.
49:46
He popped in and yeah, it was a good, good, good bit of chat in between running the stage.
49:51
And I'm sure he ran into you as well, Tom. Sure, dear. Thanks, Christopher, for saying good day.
49:57
And yeah, it's a necromancer that would own a K electric in a car in a heartbeat. I'm 100%.
50:02
They are very cute. Okay, look, cool. Here we go back to Jim, who says just
50:08
remote on the other side of the Mazda D-Powell. There was some camo missing. Interesting. Okay.
50:14
And he says that I'll just pop this pickup once again. So this is back on this picture here.
50:19
To my surprise, it was a bronze color. Ooh, snazzy. That's different, a bronze Mazda.
50:25
Okay. Yeah, hopefully it gets a bit interesting colors. We'll see. Any news on the firefly
50:31
runners since we last spoke? Not much for the Australian launch, but I did get some
50:38
insights on the interwebs earlier today that it's heading to Singapore in early 2026.
50:47
So it's been pushed back a little bit. So I expect maybe late Q1, early Q2, 2026 for us.
50:57
Okay. I have to make another trip to Singapore to check it out.
51:01
If it's coming there, it's good. All right. We are coming to the end of the show,
51:07
everyone. Just a few more stories. Just wanted to touch on this one, just a quick PSA,
51:14
the SIG Energy 25 kilowatt charger, which I'm waiting on. I won't play this whole video,
51:19
but in this video, there was a point here that the 12 kilowatt charger can be upgradable.
51:26
Here we go. Upgradable to 25 kilowatt with the right license. There you go.
51:33
So that might be a bit annoying if you paid that kind of money for the 12,
51:37
and then you're going to pay extra to get 25s and the prices come down. So that is the
51:41
nature of new tech, unfortunately. But yeah, so keep in mind, there is a software update
51:47
potentially coming. Just looking at this video here from SIG Energy for the DC charger,
51:50
which is bi-directional as well. I would, if I had bought a 12 kilowatt charger,
51:54
I'd be pushing hard for a free software update for 25, just because we were early adopters,
51:58
right? So that's something I'd be doing just personally.
52:03
And just pushing on with the rest of the show. So thank you, Robes,
52:07
for highlighting the fact that there's a new law coming soon. I think that all EVs need to
52:13
emit low-speed pedestrian noise, which is good. That's, no. No, we don't want that.
52:22
No, all right. I'm missing out apparently. But yeah, anyway, this is saying that the
52:30
pedestrian noise is coming. That must be a thing in Australia.
52:36
Clearly Honda is taking safety to the next level with the super one,
52:40
because not only pedestrian noise, it's noise on the inside to ensure that even the occupants of
52:47
the car are as safe as they can be with those gear shifters. That's right. And yeah,
52:54
Lightning says, can we just turn up the noise on the stereo? Yeah, you could. I mean,
52:57
you could do that if you want. Or just yell at the people if you really want.
53:01
The seal is audible in the cabin. Yeah, that's true. A lot of the cars are audible in the cabin.
53:10
Clearly, Mazda ICE owners might be willing to upgrade to an EV to stay with the brand they
53:13
know. And also true. Yeah, assisting Mazda dealer network. I guess the question is with the
53:19
NVES. Are these brands starting to bring out these cars for compliance? Are they serious
53:24
about EVs? Right? That's the eternal question.
53:27
Well, that's right. I mean, the 6C is Mazda's second EV. The first one that makes 30 electric
53:33
was not very popular. I think this could be a bit of a turnaround, because if they can sell
53:39
somewhat reasonable units, which is hard for a sedan, but if they get the SUV equivalent in,
53:46
I can see them selling, you know, slowly chipping away and getting some of their
53:51
existing customers that would normally buy an ICE Mazda product to consider an EV.
53:57
I mean, it could be a hard push because usually the dealers, it takes them a little bit of time
54:03
to get their head around EVs because previously we've heard some dealers are saying Australia
54:08
isn't ready for EVs yet. But maybe if they are pushed by NVES to sell them, then Australia
54:15
might suddenly be ready for EVs. So options are always a good thing. 100%. Yeah, we know
54:21
Nissan said that about the Aria that Australia wasn't ready three years ago, which I found
54:25
disappointing. But yeah, we'll bring them on. We'll review them all, that's for sure.
54:32
All right, guys, almost at the end of the show. One more thing I just want to point out before
54:35
we draw the last two winners of Double Passes for the EE show in Moen. That is that
54:41
Australia has to get three hours of free electricity every day under a proposed solar
54:46
scheme. So there are some energy plans already out there that allow you to get
54:51
free charge or free electricity use during the day, which is great if you have an EV or if
54:56
you want to charge your battery up. But it looks like energy retailers will be forced to do this
55:01
for everyone regardless of solar ownership status. So that's good and bad, I guess. We'll
55:07
see what happens. Yeah, well, if anyone's got spare graphic cards, I need to get ready to
55:14
mine crypto between 11 and two or 12 or three or whenever that is for those three hours.
55:21
So feel free to donate them, PO Box, Bonser Lounge, Melbourne Airport.
55:26
At least you got to charge a spectre as well, right? We know that doesn't charge itself that thing.
55:31
Well, that's it. I think Spectre is powering all this free electricity they'll be handed out,
55:37
which of course, we got to see the spectre at the Sydney EV show as well. It's the same one
55:42
that was in at the June show. So, you know, I had to drive it up for the Sydney
55:48
viewers to check it out. Yeah. It's a curious proposition there for value,
55:53
buying a spectre for V2G considering it's a million dollars on the road, right?
55:58
Each of their own. Yeah, there are some plans already. OVO is doing AGL three hours for free,
56:04
but this is irrespective of your solar, you know, solar status or solar ownership status.
56:11
I think this is quite beneficial if it does happen, like you said,
56:15
those that don't have solar can currently get onto those plans. OVO, AGL, PowerShop,
56:22
and a couple of others. But yeah, it means even apartment dwellers that may not have solar
56:28
could get access to free electricity. If it goes that way, I'm not sure how far
56:35
it needs to progress before it does. Those retailers are pushed to do it,
56:41
but it is a good thing. Absolutely. And it's just a reflection of the fact that there's too
56:46
much solar in Australia. Like today, I was checking the AMBA app and between the hours of
56:51
11 and 1 or 2, there was 90% plus renewables in the grid on such a beautiful day in Sydney. So,
56:59
yeah, I personally won't be getting more solar. I just feel like that's not quite good value
57:03
for money at the moment, considering now everyone get free electricity for three hours
57:07
with so much solar during the day. If you can afford it, I'd buy the biggest battery I could
57:11
find right now and take advantage of the federal government's very generous rebate so you can,
57:16
if you want, either use AMBA or just charge up the battery during the day and just use it
57:20
at night. So, it makes sense to me. Yeah, exactly. It would make sense for those without
57:26
solar who are renting. That's right. Correct. All right, everyone, let's draw our last two
57:32
double passes for this evening for the Everything Electric Show in Melbourne. So,
57:37
two more winners to go. So, let's do that one more time. Hashtag everything is the secret code you
57:43
need to put in the chat to win. So, let's do our first draw or fourth draw, I should say,
57:47
first of two, remaining. Everything Electric Show in two weeks time, 13th to the 15th of
57:54
November. Let's see who gets our fourth double pass. Andrew Bartram, congratulations.
57:59
You are our fourth winner for the Everything Electric Show in Melbourne, making its debut
58:03
in two weeks time. Riz and I will be there. I'll be there on the Saturday. Riz will be
58:06
helping out as well during the weekend. And last one, last double pass. Everything Electric,
58:11
let's do it. We've got five more passes next week as well. So, join us next week for the show
58:18
for five more double passes to win. John Leeann, congratulations. You have won
58:23
our fifth and final double pass for this evening for the Everything Electric Show in Melbourne,
58:28
which should be really good. Send us an email at tomatludicrisfeed.com
58:32
and we'll send those passes out to you in the coming days. Riz, that unfortunately comes,
58:38
brings us an end to today's show. Thank you once again for joining us.
58:43
Anytime, Tom. And I think our viewers and listeners are always participating, sharing
58:49
things during the week. So, keep doing that. I think we're about to get into a very
58:53
interesting phase when today we've covered how many, probably at least two cars from legacy
59:01
automakers that are looking at bringing in EVs into our market. So, yeah, I think more options
59:07
are a good thing. And thank you to those that came out and saw us at the Sydney EV show and
59:14
anyone that's in Melbourne, come and say hi at Everything Electric, which is,
59:19
what is it, a weekend, two days? Yeah, not this weekend. Yeah, not this weekend, the weekend after.
59:27
Yeah, not far away. That's right. Yeah, good point, Riz. Yeah, that both Japanese brands as well,
59:32
Mazda and Nissan, so not Nissan Honda. So, yeah, we want to see more competition,
59:36
not just the Chinese or Tesla taking over. We want to see Europe, Japanese, Koreans,
59:42
make it compelling to buy an EV. So, yeah, the modern area. And Australia is one of the
59:46
best markets to buy an EV, honestly. Our prices are pretty good because of our competition.
59:51
That's what makes our country great. I think the good market competition, consumer choice.
59:56
Alrighty, well, thank you, Riz. Thank you, viewers, for joining us tonight. It's been a great one.
00:01
As always, we shall see you next time on Ludacris Feed. And congratulations once again to our
00:05
winners for the Everything Electric show. We shall see you all next time. Thank you, Riz.
00:10
See you then. Take care, everyone.
