Sean H, and Nick F. Thank you guys so much. What a bunch of legends and those
shirts are out, right? Are they in the mix? They're on their way. They're cooking. Yeah.
And they're out, but they're not in the mail yet. I think we told them they were
going to get them by a certain time. We did, but they were still being made. Yeah.
Can we give a ballpark where they are? I'm getting them out this week. They're
going out this week. You heard it from the beard. They're going out this week.
It's happy. So after that, it's on your local postal service to make sure it
shows up. Yeah, Mike's personally going to drive each and every one of them. Yeah,
I'm going to just box one at a time. So just to give me some so I can do mileage
in the car. I think it doesn't go to the most of it. All right. So we are back from
Rolex. What a great event. Always a great event. I feel like they always claim this.
I mean, I don't not that it matters to anyone, but they had a record amount of
people there this year. I was thinking that exact same thing when they said,
and I was like, I feel like you've said this at least three or four years in a row.
I feel like it's one of those events where, I don't know, since I compare it to
like almost like a concert in a way where most of the people don't really sit in
the stands except for like the initial part of the race. And then maybe kind of
venture up there at any given time and maybe get photos, but they don't sit up
there, obviously the whole entire time. And they just sell a bunch of general
admission tickets. So and essentially they could sell as many as they want
because a lot of people just end up in the infield anyways, and there's no
assigned seating. So I guess they'll just basing it off at ticket sales, but at
the same time, it could be almost an infinite amount. I mean, it could go
range probably from like 100,000 people to 500,000 if you really wanted it to
be because the infield is so large. Yeah, that's true. And you could spread those
people. I mean, there's camping all on that inside bowl all the way around in
the back side. I mean, there's just seas and seas of people if they want them
to be. So I think it's just one of the like, who's ever going to call them on
that, right? To say like, well, what was the number? I would say that the way
they did camping, they probably gave them some more people from last year had to
have. Oh, of course, because they crunched them all in, right? And that's a, I
mean, not that we can't, but they went from roughly a 24 by what like 18
space to like a 20 to 10. It's like a 24 by 35 into like a 10. I think it's
like went down to half the half the dimensions, but the length was the same.
So it's just length or width. Yeah, because they're out there cash grabbing,
right? I guess you have to be gotta be. And then the new thing, not that it's
matters to anybody, but just to give you an idea so this you can wrap your head
around this. These people have been camping forever. Most of them, you know,
they have their designated areas and how it used to work was used to go and
get in line basically Thursday night. And then Friday morning, and I say line,
like meaning lining your cars up at the gate, if you have a camping pass, like
you get admitted on Friday with your camping pass. And then it's almost kind
of like the Wild West back in the day where people be like the big lamb, you
know, the land stake where you go out and stake your land and put a flag in it.
And as far as you're willing to go, that's and you can claim as many of
those acres as you want or whatever. It's kind of that was that setup. Can't
claim as many as you want, but the spots were sprayed. But you know, if you had
three or four people in your car and you had stuff like people would go out
there and no kidding, like throw lawn chairs and spots for other people that
were so you couldn't go in them until they showed up because they stayed
overnight. So like it was always somebody pulling a night shift to be out
there so they can go designate spots. I'm giving you all this background because
it's been going this on like this way for decades. Yeah. This year is the
first year they changed that. I don't think really they kind of told people
they were changing it, but people still lined up at the gate. And from what I
understood is that they made people leave and you couldn't come back till
almost basically an hour or two before they were supposed to open. They wouldn't
let people basically park out there Thursday night at 10, 10 p.m.
Yeah, they're trying to probably not have the whole staging mad house rush.
But yeah, if anything, though, that this is the first time where it would make
the most sense because what happens this year is different than all the other
years is that wherever you ended up is now your permanent spot. Yeah, there's
a number assigned for eternity. So like when you, now when you buy your tickets
next year, they know attached to your name and how do they know that is they,
we were told there was somebody that actually went around one by one and
got people's names who the spot was under and put a number attached to it.
So moving forward, you know, that spot is either going to be bought by you again
next year or if you didn't renew, it's going to go back into the pool and they'll
say, OK, this is where your spots at. It makes more sense. I mean, they're already
doing that with RB spots. So why wouldn't you help orchestrate some of that and
they can now probably predict on how many camping spots they need? All right,
hey, dude, can we get more help them plan for next year, too?
Yeah. Now that it helps her, not that anybody wants to be, you know, boxed in.
I think that's what they wanted to change positions. Now they're going to find
somebody that now has that spot. Yeah. And go, hey, do you want to swap spots or?
Well, yeah, that's because they dispersed everybody. So like if friends are camping
by each other and you couldn't get spots by each other this year because they
were signing, I think they kind of screwed everything up. So I don't know. I know a lot
of people that love that camping thing and they like to bring all their stuff and grill
out and like make a whole weekend and event with their buddies. And I think they kind of
shook that up a lot. Yeah, why wouldn't they have just I mean, now that I had to die,
why wouldn't you have just entered like a concert where you have signed seats anyways
and go, hey, this is what's marked out or I want, you know, 3A and 3B.
Exactly. They're not available. All right, next. I mean, they had all like,
there wasn't any racing happening. They could have put those tickets together all summer.
Somebody could have walked out there. They could have sprayed all of them. They could have zoned
everything. They'd be like, all right, this is zone A. And these are the numbers in zone A.
So when you go to online to buy your tickets, you get an aerial view, like you said, if you're
going to like a professional event or whatever. Because that's what it is. And then you say,
okay, well, you know, my buddy Dave and I are going and we're going to probably stay in one tent,
but then his friends are going to come. So they're going to stay in a tent and then they're
going to come. So we need spots, you know, we need to be in section A, 37, 38 and 39. So we need to
buy those to get in there. It wouldn't be that complicated. Either you got them or you didn't
get them. And then now you know, or you can move to another section. So you can be together as
opposed to just being like out there winging it. I don't know. They just, I think you even had a
line because guess what? Everybody would have known where they're going to be. Exactly. They just
dicked that all up. I didn't think about it. They didn't think about it in that fashion until
you get it. We're explaining. I was like, wait a minute, doesn't even make sense. Yeah. Yeah,
I mean, that happened. And then we found out that we got to switch switch our KBBQ up.
Yeah, because there's another change, right? Like, so with the corral, I guess they closed
the corral now. They didn't used to close it, but they're closing it now. Meaning after 8pm,
we don't even know Friday night because we don't hang out there because there's not really anything
going on. So it's not that big of a deal. But the night of the race, they close the corral at 8pm.
Huh, it's not a six hour race because that's when the rate the race starts at 130. So that's weird
that that closes at that time. Now when I say close, they don't kick you out. Like if you're
in, that's fine. But like us, if you leave the premises and leave campus to go get something to
eat, which most people do, you cannot go back to the corral pass area, which makes zero sense
because it's an open lot. And you have a pass and the people that were volunteering and working a
lot before have marked your vehicle and you still have your windshield sticker says that you're
allowed to go in there. But the gate is closed and there's somebody standing out there getting
paid labor work hours to tell you to go away. Which again, Daytona is fucking that up because
you're paying all this money for the corral. You're on a special list to get in the corral. And if
you want to come back, I mean, what about people that maybe work during the day and want to come
to the race at night with their family? Now you can't you have a corral ticket and you can't come
to the corral after hours. I mean, that's not 8 p.m. is early. Yeah, like what are these people
like 1000 years old going to bed at like 6 30 early bird special at 4 p.m. at freaking Jesse
Steakhouse? Like what are you doing, dude? Like people want to get in there. True. And especially
when they Daytona wants to claim like, Oh, well, it's a sellout event. It's like, well, that's a
hell of a way to get deter people, isn't it? Like, all right, well, all you MFers out here that have
passes that should be in here. None of you can come in. Because the thing is, where do you park
when you can't go in the crowd that you paid for? Exactly. There is no part and that time of the
day, the race has been going on for six and a half hours. There is nowhere to park. And that's
the only reason we would have left is because we know we have parking going back. If we know we
didn't have parking going back, we wouldn't have left. Yeah. So yes, I'm bitching about it. However,
there was no announcement made either. It was a word of mouth somewhere. There was I don't know.
I know I didn't see it. I know a couple other people heard about it, but I don't think it was
one of those bullshit things where it's like, Oh, you didn't get the email. Oh, we must not have
your email address. I'm like, Oh, that's funny because you do have my email address when you want
money from me. But when you want to disseminate information, you don't have my email address.
Kiss my ass. You have my email address. So yeah, that was a little and it will adjust to change.
And I don't have a problem with change, but you have to tell people this shit's happening.
You can't just like, they'll figure it out.
Or I had to think it out a sign or something.
Like in front of the crowd. I think they figure this like had a guy standing out there that poor
bastard, you know, he's just getting inundated by everybody because I saw a bunch of other people
trying to think it into his. Like you said, yeah, so it's like, we're not the outliers on this.
We're not the only two people in the world trying to and everybody, you know, we found out after
the fact, but I mean, which we left our stuff there again, because we thought we're gonna be able
to come back to it. I might do it. If I would have known that you think I would have left our
damn chairs here. No, of course not. So yeah, so now we have to, you know, we'll make an adjustment.
It's not the end of the world. But I mean, it's just kind of like a, that's kind of an ass backwards
thing. I mean, you're, you're claiming to sell out, you sell a lot of tickets. Is it because you
can't man the parking lot? Is that the problem? Because you've got a guy there to turn people
away. Why can't you let people come in? Yeah, he's opening the gate to let people out. Yeah.
And he has to be there as long as the cars are in there, right? So and what if the, and I know
there's people leave their cars there overnight because there's people that in that corral,
a friend of mine that slept in his 996. So how does that work? So does that mean the guy at the
gate has to be there all night? I'm just saying this stuff's not well thought out, but it's not
complicated shit either. Like this is common sense stuff. Like where it's kind of like, dude,
this isn't hard.

I was like, Hey man, I'm just, and I was going to get your stuff too. I didn't even know if you
found a spot. So I was going to just bring all the stuff back to the Airbnb. So when I saw you
come in there, I was like, Yeah, I was just going to grab it too. I didn't know because he was all
hostile with me. And I was like, Dude, I'm just trying to get our chairs and errands, like,
you know, stand and all that other stuff. Like I'm just trying to get you. He's like, Man,
I've been fucking everybody's been messing with me trying to get in here. And I've been told,
I wasn't told shit, man. I was supposed to get off where I was like, Dude, I get it. But you're
not, you're mad, but don't be mad at me. I think yeah, I don't think he expected to get any pushback,
but I don't think he realized why he was getting pushed back because no, but this is the first
year they've ever done that. And I feel bad for him because nobody gave him information. No,
they just like stand here. Don't let anybody in. Yeah, that's it. You don't tell this guy.
And he probably was like, Oh man, it's easy. Yeah. So I'd like ask him. I'm like, Why can't we come
in? And he's like, I don't know. I'm like, That is never a good answer. No, no, that's not gonna,

Yeah, they were really fast, weren't they? Yeah, which I think that speaks to what I was telling
you. I know they redid the car redid some stuff because the Joda team was telling like the 2025
standards or whatever that that get they didn't go any further. And then I mean, whatever they did
made a difference. They didn't get the download update. They didn't get the update. I was like,
you didn't get the over air update? Sorry about that, bud. Not on the email list. Yeah. You didn't
get the email? Your name? Kind of swore we emailed it to you. Hey, we need you to pay for that car,
though. Here's a miscellany of the bill. 963.2. I think I got your email. 963.2 is really getting it.
Mm hmm. Well, that just goes to show you the testament and that's a Porsche cultural thing
through everything, right? So you can you can trace that back to all of their stuff,
all of their racing. The 917 was ass when it first came out, right? So they got it better and better
and better. It didn't come out and win right away. It was undriveable. It was killing people,
basically, because they couldn't figure out the arrow on it. So refinements, refinements, refinements.
Was nowhere. Well, they thought they were just being built, slipstreaming. Yeah. Well, they had
to put those little baby flaps on the back, those little gurney flaps, essentially. And that made
all the difference because that air was just getting trapped to making the ass light. But this,
this is not, you know, if you're paying attention, this is pretty common. I mean, maybe even
this is how Porsche operates. Look at their 911. It's been argued to say looks look the same.
It has looked the same for 60 years. To a certain degree, it does carry that silhouette,
but it is refined and improved and improved and improved. This seems like it follows that
same pattern, right? Not exactly great out the gate, obviously. Some teething,
but has been very competitive over the years and getting even more competitive as each season has
gone on and championship contending every year, basically. So big shout out to them. It'd be
cool to see them do four because no one's ever done that. So I think if they weren't going to go
another season, I think Roger is, is definitely might do it just for that for so competitive
where he wants to stamp his name on as much stuff as he can. And to claim that, I'm sure he would
be all for it. So yeah, I wouldn't be surprised at all if they came back for that reason alone.
And if you're on the Porsche factory team, it would NASA if you can, because it seems like
that's a, that's a combo that you need to be in because I think Lawrence and Tandy were in the
last year's car. They were with NASA. Yeah. They got Rollies. Yeah. NASA just collected them, but
I mean, he's just dialed in, man. Like he's so fast. So there's a fight for a car. It's got to be
fight for number seven. It has to be. I think everybody wants to be a guy's teammate, man.
There's like, dude, I just want to be on this guy's team. Somebody's are starting like starting
rumors. Man, I don't think NASA likes you. Yeah. Right. Well, he picked his own team now. He's
like Brady almost like this guy picks his own plays. He pets whenever he wants. He does whatever
he wants. Like what? Like, no, that's not we can do it in one stop. I don't think we can. I'm
going to do another stent. You're like, you can't do another stent. We're going to get penalized.
She's like, I got it. Don't worry. I know somebody. So takeaways. What were some of your
favorite parts about Rolex and then? Can you see Grello there? That was cool. I don't think I
realized till afterwards that there was those are the new G3Rs like the new version. Yeah. Yeah.
Which looks pretty cool. That's also hard to tell that they were new G3Rs to me. Yeah. I'm sure
there's some changes, but yeah, I mean, essentially the Evo of it, right? Like it just keeps moving.
I felt like it was decent weather. Yeah, that was pretty good. A little warm, but not like overly
warm. I don't know if you feel this, but I feel like even with the people, I still feel like it
was still a good flow of people that wasn't really overly crowded. I felt the same way too.
I don't know if they've gotten different pattern flows of people traffic or
what's going on. It was still a way to do the gridwalk and all that stuff like normal, but
there's nothing you can do. I also don't remember them doing the gridwalk for so long.
Yeah, I think they actually bumped it up earlier. I think because they have like because when we
went in there and came out with Todd, we got back and they were still to the gridwalk was
still going for like almost another two hours when we got back. Yeah, it was like 11 to 11 to
one, something like that. Maybe it was 10 something. Maybe 1030 to like one. Yeah. Maybe that sounds
right. It was long 1040. Maybe it was 1045. Yeah, it was long. It was because I was shocked how long
we were back for before they were, you know, the announcements were coming over to get people off
the grid. Well, they have to go through all 60 cars with every driver and all the team announcements.
Very true. And they definitely want the people out there to give it that vibe. I would just
skipped everybody about GTP cars and like, right, and these guys and then. Yeah, I think the weather
was really good. You know, it wasn't overly hot like during the day. I will say that I don't
feel like the Porsche crowd was filled out like I mean, even if there was some cars in there,
you know, big point, but I don't think it was like packed packed. I agree with you. Actually,
I've we've seen it way worse before and that was I don't know if it was because we were just on the
move a lot and maybe that some point during the day was peak and there was more in there and maybe
people left. I don't really know, but it didn't seem like it blew you away like it used to where
you go in there and you would just see crazy stuff. A lot of guy ends. Yeah, I think, I mean,
I think in general, people have figured out where if you have one of those, even if you have other
special cars, unless you live semi close, it doesn't make sense for traveling because if you're
out there and you've drinks and chairs and all this other stuff, like if you have a 911, you
understand there's a space situation in those cars. And then if you have a passenger, you have even
less space because that passenger wants to bring stuff too. So it turns into one of those.
Yep, Cayenne makes a lot of sense. We've been doing the Cayenne's for the last couple years now and
yeah, I don't really see it any other way to be honest with you.
You know, we used to bring the 911s and I think when it was just us that kind of worked.
Yeah. But you know, we're bringing friends and significant others and
you just, there's just too much gear now to bring like in a 911. I don't have my roof
box anymore, so. Exactly. I mean, even if you try to get in the GT3, you're not getting all that.
I mean, it would be tight. Like you'd be stuffing the soft luggage behind the cage.
That'd be the worst. Yeah, and it just wouldn't be fun. Plus that place turns into a dust bowl.
That's the other thing too. If it's dry, which I like it not to rain, then it's just
black mist over everything. Yeah. So no, it was a good event overall. I thought there was
some of the cool stuff I thought that stood out to me. I hadn't seen this and I think this was
the first year. I think AO had its own booth with merch and collabed with Porsche and actually made
design. Yeah. So they did some stuff for merch with them. I thought that was pretty cool.
The devil showed the pricing. Yeah, right. Which is that's how all their stuff is priced,
not surprised. Michigan had some cool stuff. Yeah, they had merch. Yeah. I think there was
overall it was just and I agree with you with the flow and I don't think I think that was
just circumstantial. I don't think anything had anything to do with that. I think that a lot of
people would would come and go and you know, meaning like coming in and leaving and hanging
out. It's like we saw it for a little bit were taken off, which kind of sometimes it felt heavy
and then other times it felt lighter, which was good. Still, they need to put walking paths on
both sides of the road. Yeah. I don't know why they could they or they can expand the road either
shift it to the left and then open up a walking path on the right and then get that left out
some more because it's just there's just too many people trying to walk on the road and just
five people wide and and everybody's wasted. So like people are literally walking in the road
and you can really tell. I feel like if you've been there before, I don't know anybody that's
been there before that does that. I feel like it's always rookie people that are doing that.
This is their first year and they're they went heavy. It's like, Oh, I remember my first beer
when I like hammered drunk walking in the middle of the road. And it's like, man,
not is it just because people are trying to come in and out with the spectators like us.
Sometimes they got to take cars down those roads, meaning like pulling them off, depending on
whether if you're not paying attention, you can get smoked by one of those trucks coming through
there like rolling, rolling heavy. Yeah, like they are not going really fast. But I mean,
those are big rigs and you don't want to make a mistake and get caught up under that thing.
They don't have PCCBs and I stop in super quick. No, that and then I would say also like on the
track outline where everybody walks, why not asphalt it or pave it? Yeah, sidewalk. Yeah,
that would be better. Yeah. Some just some like pruning dips they don't know. There you go.
They're not gonna do it. Of course not. Why? Why would they cost money? Yeah,
works fine the way it is now. Just find a way to make more money, not take away money, right?
But overall, always good event. Always glad we go, despite some of the little niggles that happen
there. Cars in general, like the Porsches were really competitive, even in the GTP
and the GTD Pro and AM classes. Pretty competitive for a long time.
Yeah, I don't think I really saw. I mean, the only people that out there was like
doing a test run with us and they were gonna just like out there enjoying themselves.
Like living our best lives, boys. I think probably my favorite part and we'll move on.
It was really foggy that morning and I think it had a little to do with it. But they did the historic
racing in the morning, which is the first time they did it. Usually it was just a show and display,
but they were actually like competing against each other this time. So I thought that was pretty
exciting to see them and, you know, the Viper and some of those spider, you know, those Can-Am cars
that were out there and then the Mazda seemed like it was taking it easy, but you could hear it rip,
you know, and it would get away from stuff. It could rip, you know, and man, there were some
nasty 996 GT3s running in those cup cars in those classes. So I'm curious to see if that
class continues to grow since this was the first year that actually made it competitive,
other than just kind of parade lapping them. I hope it does because they put points to it like
they should for the for the HR season. I don't know why it wouldn't. Yeah, like give an extra point
or something. Yeah. I mean, even if you're, yeah, if you participate, you get one, if you finish,
maybe you get two, and then like then they can add even more points if you podium, I guess. Yeah,
because that would definitely give incentive because if you're really trying to do the
HSR season thing. Yeah, so that was it. That was fun. All right, let's move on. Let's talk a little
bit about our drive coming up, right? So you posted a thing, the dates are out there October 13th
through the 16th. We're gonna be at Tapaco. Yeah, only nine months away. Yeah, right. It seems like
eternity, but I was sitting there going through what, and I'm sure most people that don't fly by
the seat of their pants that are kind of organized, do appreciate that announcement and what you know,
when they can kind of plan for their schedule. And you know, there's I know that we are friends
with people that are like, I don't even know what I'm doing tomorrow. It's like, all right, cool,
man, I love to be able to be able to not have any plans for my entire life to say something like
that. But literally, I just went through every month, there's something that I'm roped into,
obligated to or wanting to do one of those three things every month.
Did you live in life? No, I wish it was that like, I'm sure it was like, oh, yeah, I'm just
jet-setting and doing all this. It's not that it's not that sexy. I wish it was. But yeah, so
like most people, you know, I shared those dates with Charles as well to make sure that we overlap
and we're not so I'm not gonna I'm not gonna throw him out there and put his dates out there yet,
because I know he probably doesn't want them. October. Yeah, right. I'll just say it's not that
month. Let's leave it at that. But tell them why it's important that he comes. So like,
let's say, well, we tried to do it. This year, I was gonna besides
making it three driving days was too much last year, in my opinion.
I suck at that. I did it twice. So I'm confident.
I think everybody kind of voiced that as well. And then I wanted to start it on Sunday,
because couldn't do it. The day's in the line. Because I want to get out of I want a
non-PGO day for a bunch of people. Yeah, like check-in day would have been that day.
Yeah, would have been Sunday. Yeah, but it's just didn't work out. Just didn't work out.
So why attend? Because if you like driving, that's what we do. That's that's the bread and butter
of the things is we always find some new roads, we have some good favorites.
Coming to meet the people in real life, such as Instagram, because I know that happens. Yeah.
And a lot more just chit chat. Okay, I need to actually know people, the human thing,
that's something. And what we try to do is, is really, it's curated from the time you get there
to the time you leave, all the meals, all the roads, leaders, people, lunches, everything,
now giveaways, all that stuff. So if you like stuff like that, definitely make sure you remember
so you can sign up when that goes out, because it always does sell out. I put a couple points in
from your past. Those are all valid, what you said and thank you for sharing that. And I,
and I totally 100% agree with all of those things. In addition to that, I think there's a lot of
people that end up coming that either been before or haven't been before, or know somebody it's been.
And if you're a first timer, you realize seeing is believing. Like you think you're not, you're
like, Oh, I've been on a mountain road. I know, I know what that's like. It really is different
when you go with an organized group of friends. And you spend a couple days together. It's not
like, Oh, let's go drive the afternoon, and then I'll go back to our own dwellings and go home. And
that's fine. And that's great. And if you have access to do that on a regular basis, that's also
cool. But it is also cool, it's almost kind of like, I guess the best way elementary term is
like, it's a field trip, you know, you get everybody gets excited about a field trip,
you know, you get to go to it, even if you've been there before, you haven't been there
in a while. So then you go, and especially if it's one of your favorite places, you're really
excited. And then you go get to see your friends and have fun with your friends. And it's not,
and it is driving years, a lot of driving, but like the downtime is also really, really important.
So you can a if you're a clues, you can stay in your room, which we don't recommend. But yeah,
most people are mingling, you know, they have a great outdoor bar setting, they have great fire
pits there that we all hang out at. And there's been many, many friendships that have blossomed
from this, people have sprouted podcasts from this, people have sold cars to each other.
It's not designed as a networking event. But when you put people together that are like-minded,
it's it's impossible for it not to be a networking event, especially if you're somebody who maybe
sells cars, or even if you don't sell anything, and you just want to network with friendships and
say, Oh, hey, man, I didn't realize that you live so close to me, we should hang out more often.
It's like, I always go up that way. The next time I come through there, let me get your number,
and I'll shoot you a text, and we'll go grab dinner or something. Oh, man, that sounds great.
And now you're building a closer network of friends and friendships of people that have
like-minded stuff. Going back to what Aaron said, you don't really get that from Instagram, because
if you don't really know them, you're just like, Oh, hey, I didn't, I didn't realize you were in
St. Pete last week. Why didn't you look me up? It's like, Yeah, we know each other on Instagram,
but like, I don't know anything about you. So I've been embedded you in real life.
Man, I would say a limiting group too. I think we're not going to be more than 30 cars ever.
So if that's something that's also your vibe, which seems to be-
Yeah, some people like intimacy, right? And the funny thing is about it is everybody seems to
think like you have to have a GT car to come to our bed. I have to say this every year. Ben from
Freakin' Lauderdale could be a testament to this. And then Jeff as well. There's people who bring
aircool cars to this. We love that. I'm an aircool guy. I love aircools. But you don't have to
bring that. I mean, we have Caymans that come out. We have 911 Carrera S's that come out. We have
GT3's that come out. We have Turbo S's that come out. Whatever you have, whatever you want to drive,
as long as it's a Porsche, come on out, like sign up, like put your car to the test. If you've put
it to the test, come out again and put it to the test, get better, become a better driver.
And there's all different run groups, which is the beauty of it too. Everybody also, I feel like
people are like, oh, you guys are- it's intimidating because I've never done anything
like that before and I'm afraid to go at the pace that you are. Like, I'm not comfortable with that.
There's- you don't have to run if you're uncomfortable. There's plenty of room in other groups
where you will find comfortability, trust me.
Or bring off into your own thing. I mean, we don't- as long as you're there for dinner and stuff.
And there's a couple- and there's a couple people that do do that. And that's also encouraged. Like,
you have the routes. I'll take a page out of Charles Stanley's book. He says the same thing.
It's like, hey, man, you're here for the rally. You're here to drive. It would be more fun if
you drove with us, but if you don't feel comfortable, that's fine. There's plenty of people that have
come on that rally and they say, hey, I'm going to do the morning. But, you know, there's this
really cool area that my wife and I want to go hike.
Yes. Go do that. You're up here. Don't feel obligated that you have to drive. And then
there's people that are, man, I need more driving. Cool. Aaron does an early morning
breakfast club up on the dragon. It's like, oh, you're a nut job and you can't get enough.
You want to skip breakfast to go drive? Take as much as you want.
It's not skipping, but it's just getting-
You get my point.
It's one of the cleanest runs you'll ever have up there in the morning,
but it's also in the dark sometimes. So that's-
And it's cold.
And cold sometimes and foggy sometimes. And so there's just a different way of seeing it.
And also we get back relatively, I don't want to say early, but it's not like this.
You still have probably two to three hours of daylight when we get back.
Yeah. Because when it is during the fall.
Is right in the heart of everything. So there are roads, literally if you want to come right back,
hit the restroom and then go out with a couple friends and run another 45 to an hour.
That's easily no problem. And you'll be back for dinner.
Yeah. We always, we kind of rearrange it that way where we get back, right? Three,
four o'clock. And then our dinners are until 6.37, maybe 7.30, depending on which day it is.
And then, yeah, that's the whole design of that. Because we know we have people that want to run.
Yeah, flexibility in it. So the reason why I went through all that is because there's new
listeners, there's old listeners, there's people who miss podcasts, people who don't follow it all
the time. So if you were hearing this, and that's the first time you're hearing it, that was for
you. If you've heard it before, I'm emphasizing it again. If you haven't attended and you're one of
those who was like, I plan on going to this someday. Well, that someday should be this year.
And we have, and I'll close with this. A lot of times a lot of people do bring their significant
others or their partners with them. And it's a great time. And a lot of other places and a lot
of events, and I'll speak for some that I've been to, it's not said, it's encouraged, but it kind
of follows the culture of whatever the event's happening, whether the organizers trying to get
additional people there, meaning like your passenger or somebody like that. If the event has
already established culture where they don't bring somebody, it kind of stays that way. Our event
is not that way. A lot of people bring their spouses, a lot of people. So I would say it's
almost 50 50, I would say 50% of the cars have a passenger in them. Because it is a great place.
I mean, you're in the mountains, the leaves are changing. Long as your significant other really
doesn't get carsick, you're not gonna have any problems. They're gonna have a wonderful time.
It's great food. It's a great atmosphere. And it gives them a little bit of insight into what
you like to do, because they probably don't get to see that that often. It's like, this is what
you do with your friends when you go do this. This is so cool, like, or I'm never doing this again.
Yeah, I mean, no, no, no, I mean, and if they do get motion sickness. Yeah, there's bracelets and
things and you know where Amazon's at, buy some crap and show up. That's it out. See if you can
get over it. All right, so pretty soon, that'll be opening up. Yeah, probably in the dates here
October 13th to the 16th. I don't think we said that we buried. I said at the very beginning,
but yeah, we'll close with that 13th through the 16th. It's a two day event last year was
the three day event. Those are the bullet points. Get your ass and gear will probably be

about the new three RS that I guess it would be the 992.2 three RS, right now. And I guess it's a
pretty strong rumor mill. Obviously Porsche has not confirmed this. They never confirm anything
until it comes out as they should. But everybody's thinking this is going to be turbocharged from
all those spy shots and what they're hearing. Now Porsche has always really good at bamboozling
people and that's what I feel like. But let's just let's just travel down path one right now and
say it is an actual turbocharged car. I guess we're waiting for this. Can't wait. So basically
it's a three RS, but it's the old 991 two RS. That's what you're telling me. Awesome. We need to
save money. What can we do? So I got that two RS laying around so I can buy two RS in the 992
body, essentially, that's going to be called a three RS. So the and obviously all the other
three like enthusiasts, journalists out there are saying that the the actual two RS is going to be
obviously turbocharged, but it is going to be the hybrid that already exists in the turbo s. It's
going to be in that car with the turbos and the electric stuff and all the hybrid. So then the whole
line would have turbos. Yeah, that was going to be my next mine. They didn't say anything about the
the the GT three, though. So like, is that going to be the only natural naturally aspirated car
left is what I was going to bring up? Oh, I see you're saying kind of how they did because they're
going three RS turbo. They didn't say anything about the revision of the GT three being obviously
it's already out more like the right. So the two is alive and well, it's an a so it is going to be
the only NA car. I mean, unless they scramble and they do get the the GT four back out there
and the GT, you know, the four liter box out there and if they get those, those will obviously
be naturally aspirated. But if they don't get them out there and they have to have some revision of
some hybrid thing, I mean, that that makes you wonder what the next iteration of the GT three
will that also go away? And will that also be a turbocharged car? Because if the three RS is
turboed, why wouldn't why wouldn't they just eventually turbo the the three? Well, unless
they haven't kind of how the argument of PDK and manual, I mean, they don't have the
true like more of a the GT three is more of a touring style. You know what I mean? And then
the RS is like track. So you need every bit of that. Maybe that will be there. I mean,
I'm sure Andy will get into it deep with Chris Harris and whoever else,
but we really need our race car to have something more powerful because I still
is idle that we have pace and there are two, three hours. Yeah, it's really don't.
It's funny you bring that up because that was going to be my next thing. So
if you're running NA cars and on the racetrack,
you should have some type of street variant when you're selling a, I guess you wouldn't really
call it homologated because I guess you technically it's, you know, you don't even homologate that car.
But you want to have something for the client base to kind of like compare their vehicle to if
the engine power plants are totally different. That's not really a genuine comparison, right?
So maybe even moving forward, the GT3 will continue to be NA because the GT3 R is NA.
So maybe those will be the closest siblings from a race car to a street car. And maybe that's why
they decided to move forward with a turbo and three RS to say like, well,
the GT3 R and the three RS aren't really stable mates. Like these are these are different things.
But I always thought that that was more of the successor or I would say like sibling.
The closest thing to the three are the GT3 R and not the regular GT3. I would think the RS was the
closer. So now that that's gone, if, you know, if this is confirmed, but let's get into like
opinions on this. Like, how do you feel about that? Well, I hope they're not making it to RS.
That's what they are. I mean, it's that they are going to.
That doesn't make any sense. I think people are a thousand percent wrong. And it's a GT2
or two RS. And they just want to show it as a in the GT3 clothing. I don't know that doesn't
really make sense if you're going to have two separate lines with turbos. But I mean,
you have a query T and a turbo and they're not the same unless they feel obligated to chase power
because Lamborghini's like got what that Rivalto thing that they've put a hybrid system in that car.
V8 twin turbo. So other manufacturers are doing it. So maybe they've maybe they're
getting caught up in the horsepower war because they're saying, hey, we're charging X amount of
dollar for our car. And people are looking at the stat sheet, even though our lap times are great,
people are chasing horsepower. They're like, oh, your car has only got 500 something horsepower.
I paid less for mine. I got 800. 4.6 liter twin turbo V8. Yeah. The same thing out of the the
GTB car. Where does that go? You mentioned it in the in a prior podcast, though, like if they're
trying to be a more upscale, if they're competing with those McLarens and all those other they want
to be in those four, 500, $600,000 conversations, and they expect that demand, I think their power
number has to go up. It does. I mean, and they need to really, where's their flagship car? That's
the other thing like this is just using as hell. Isn't it just keeps making me just well, they got
the turbo s. It starts at like $1 million after, you know, spec'd out. So it's like before seven
seven figures before ADM. So you got that, but that's not the flagship, right? Well, I mean,
essentially, that's the flagship. Because there's so many divisions, right? So it's like, well,
that's a GT department car. That's not like the company car, the company car, the turbo s.
I mean, nine, nine, 18 is almost on classic blades. Right. I mean, I don't I. Okay, so back to your
theory, our theory. So say it's true. Okay, well, that doesn't make any sense if it is true,
because having a two or two RS, what's the difference? Why? Why? Unless there's, like you
said, unless they do a regular turbo on the GT3 RS, and then hybrids on the two RS.
But then those numbers would have to be. Well, I'm sure they already said like a crazy differential
in talking. They said earlier, not this year, because that's this year, but last year 25 when
they were just talking about the two RS that's coming. They said all they said was get ready for
crazy amount of power. So I'm thinking that car is going to be hybrid, the two RS. Yeah,
I think that car is going to be, I think there's going to be a lot of changes with that car,
which are going to piss a lot of people off too. This is what I'm calling on that car,
all wheel drive. Absolutely. Hybrid system, twin turbo, you know, with that electric thing that
they already got cooking and all the other like new, like the GTS and the turbo S 1000 plus
horsepower is what I'm thinking in that car. I think that drinks out because I think they're
just going to, that's going to be their super car killer is going to be the two RS. It's going to
have all the, it's going to be all wheel drive. It's going to be this is going to be that's going
to be magnesium, everything and still going to weigh 5,000 pounds, but it's already going to be
heavy. You know, seven second quarter miles and four minute Nürburgring lap times. Like,
but you know, you get my point. I think we're going to, I think we're going to see a four
digit horsepower number out of that car. I think it's going to go from a real drive car to a front
all wheel drive, just because of the power. I think it's going to be hybrid assist on it and
it's going to have way bigger turbos. And I think the three RS is basically going to be that two wheel
drive version of that car. I think it's going to be turboed, but it's not going to be hybrid. So I
think that's the way they're going to be able to justify the two of them because they're going to
say, well, they don't even, they don't even have the same kind of drive train. They don't have a,
that one's hybrid. This one isn't like, I think that's how they're going to get away with it.
But I hope you're right. I hope it's the other way. I hope it's, I hope it's a Fugezi and it's
going to be a GT2 RS and the GT3 RS that's coming is still going to be NA and the GT3 evolution
after whatever 992 number they come up with, because it came 994, I guess. That's what we're
thinking is also NA. So I hope those get to live on and I think they can because it seems like
at least from what Andy was quoted, they, they kind of have a little bit of a window before the EU
cracks them again, meaning like they have another, I think he verbatim said, we have another production
cycle before that's going to be an issue for us. Well, that, and I felt like his whole premise
of 500 horsepower is enough. So, so we're going to all of a sudden just going to abandon that.
I'm like, oh, we're done. We need 800 for this and we're going to need a thousand plus for the
RS. Once you wonder if he's, if he's got one foot out the door too, if this is starting to happen,
right? Because I mean, no offense to any turbo. I love turbos. I, this is going to sound shitty.
I don't mean it to sound shitty, but it's, you can, you can get a lot more power out of it. You
don't need sophisticated engineering to make a lot of power out of a turbo engine car. Like,
obviously you need to make a strong block outside of that. It's pretty archaic to
like the way Porsche is doing it right now with the NA stuff. I mean, it's really trick
engineering stuff to get all of that power and still pass admissions. So maybe they're,
maybe they're planning for future to say, Hey, let's just pull the bandaid and the rip cord now
and just start getting them in there. And then they'll get over it because they'll love the
horsepower numbers. You know, they'll be like, they'll leave, they'll come out of the box at
650 and they'll tune them and get 850 out of them. And they'll be world beaters. You know, who
knows wildcard GT turbo, just something totally different. You know, GT turbo, not turbo GT,
because we're going to hurry up. We're just going to confuse the names. Just GT turbo.
That is going to happen. And not even something no one's even inspecting. They got a limited run
it. Or they could save that for their super car, right? If they ever come out with one GT
turbo, that would be a good for them. It's like, Oh, you got a GT turbo. And the turbo GT. It rolls
off the, it rolls off the tongue. Good. You better patent that. I already got that. Yeah,
I'm sorry that I got the patent app. But yeah, I think it's going to be, I hope it is what you
say, but you're guessing it is, I would let I would more love to live in that camp of it being
throwing everybody off and going to be a two RS at the end of the day. But if it's not, I think
you're right. I think they're going to, I think they're going to keep a naturally aspirated
manual GT three, because then you'd have the four liter variants that they came in and
spider that can use that same motor. So that can make sense. I just think that my theory is a little
less sound than yours though, because how can you have a naturally aspirated GT three next gen?
I'm not talking about current that's already established next gen and have a turbo three RS
like I just feel it and that's supposed to be above that car. Like that those don't even
they're not even like they're not even related anymore. That's true. They wouldn't even be
separated by just a few hours power and be it would be a monster monster gap and they produce
but maybe that's what they want. Yeah. So it could be that but I think my theory set and sounds
less sound because of that. I think yours makes more sense. So they take that valve pad that they
extra valves, 4.2 liter for the GT three. So it gets the more out of it over 500.
Yeah, because then everybody's going to just be like, well, I'll just do the, you know,
more 4.5 liter youtubers or we'll take the turbo three RS and the real drivers will take the GT
three. I don't know. I think that I think they should. I think if they can still make it, at
least according to Andy, they could still make it in the sequence of what's happening. It would
make more sense that this is a two RS that they're throwing everybody off of because why would they
already be working on a dot two just because I know the GT three dot two is out. Yeah,
everybody just assumes that that has to happen. But that doesn't I mean, they have skipped gens
before like this isn't it's not it's all up to them. Like there's no there's no rulebook. Yeah,
we know this because we kept talking about no one's made a GT two in a while. Yeah. So they just
totally abandoned that project. Exactly. So this could be and we haven't seen it. You know,
there was no successor to the GT two RS when they made it. No, like to your point, there wasn't even
a GT two in that gen. So I mean, this could be a double this could be a GT two and a GT two RS
coming before they even think about putting a three RS out again, because that might not even
be a priority for them. And it would be the right timing because we know they have to do that stuff
there or they don't have to but they do that stuff out of cycle. Yeah. And the three RS is still
semi fresh. It would make more sense for it to just be a two RS and a GT two. I would be shocked
if they didn't do a variant of that. But maybe they don't see a pricing point to do that because
maybe they feel the turbo s covers that gap, meaning with power, even though it's not a GT car.
I don't know because I think they would have a price price point challenge unless
but see this could help them because they talked about the GT two RS
in length earlier in 2025 about how it's going to have a lot of power.
And they were saying it was going to be very expensive. So if I mean, if it starts
at five, six, not in front of it, or even a seven, I think you would have to have a GT two
to bridge that huge gap. But if you price the GT two RS like that, that does give you an opening
for a lower GT two and not the RS. I think you're more on the path because I think this may be a
two RS that they're just fluffing everybody that everybody thinks because it's wearing this the
clothes of three three RS and was like, Oh, which is a new three RS. Not really because they've
been cooking a two RS for a while and it's still not here. So this is probably that car.
And it's a two and a two RS. We're gonna call that now because remember, I remember joking
about this about a year ago. When we saw renderings of one, they would have already been out. But
when they were talking about a two RS, I was like, so it's going to look like a three RS,
but it's going to have a two RS like not moderated because we're talking about the arrow and all
that other stuff. I'm like, where else could they go with that? Because this is the most
sophisticated arrow on this three RS that they've ever done. So can you, is it possible you can
make even more arrow? I guess you could. But it would be at what an RS are now, right? Essentially
for the road. It'll be very interesting to see what that actually becomes. But I think I'm with
you. I think you're more on the on the on the path. Yeah. Yeah. All right. So one more topic
before we close out new logo. Let's talk about it. Yeah, people have asked us about it. What's
going on there? Aaron, you know, like seeing the old one, Aaron's always, you know, working stuff
that you guys don't know, like a lot of stuff doesn't make it out, but this one did make it out.
And he said, Hey, what do you think about this? I was like, I think it looks awesome. And
that's how decisions get made that quickly. We got tired of hearing is there a PCA car,
P and then that's why that's that's that's a little bit of the redesign. And then
we like Vans a lot. So this checkerboard inspiration and then it's kind of like
I think I think it's it's as weird as this may sound. And I'm not an advocate for this,
but I guess it's it's classic and modern at the same time. Yeah. If that makes zero sense,
I know, but I feel it kind of looks and where my head is. And this is a flattering thing.
I'm not trying to say that we're copycats, but anything but almost kind of like,
like vintage, vintage logo, vintage, kind of like clothing, but made modernly almost like,
I guess it would be a P car talk reimagined, if you will already, right? Vintage, a little singer
esque. Yeah, but I like it. It looks awesome. I think it's a, it's a cool fresh new look.
Nothing's changed other than the logo. So there's going to be eventually merchant comes out for that
new logo. And we hope you guys buy it because we like it a lot. We're getting a lot of good feedback
on it. And a lot of people seem to like it. Yeah, just testing out some new shirts.
And they have new hats because they got requests. And then the club logo changed.
Do I don't know if anybody's noticed? Yeah, it's pretty cool. So hey, good job, Erin. Yeah,
very nice. This guy is doing good things. I like this guy. I forgot to bring you details.
