Does professional idiot. Drive.
After hours. Sorry to you out of my own lost
in your, with your, with your, with your little, your little guy yesterday, you little rabbit.
And just wanted to yes, I condolences on behalf of awesome. The Showcase.
I'd appreciate it. Might this week, this week's
review video is going to be dedicated to him.
Yes, it's crazy. That yeah, you should live
review of a Volkswagen Rabbit. Yeah, that's a fantastic idea.
We've really enjoyed a rabbit to review the officially.
I don't think. And it's a bit of a rare beast
from the seventies. Yeah, cool thing.
Now, It's, it is. So when when when an animal dies
is they're part of the family, you know, we've got a dog, I share with my girlfriend but also, you know, two dogs at home with with my parents. And, you know, they're like, if
anything happens to him, you you freak out more than anything else. Like it sit there there, big
part of the family. So, so, yeah, just so, you know,
I know how you feel when when, when a rabbit passed away, I had two rabbits at one point. So Wishing you and your partner
all the very best in regards to that she's that pretty sure to thank you so much. Well let's get straight into it
anyway with we're kind of busy few weeks on the show but a few people have done some things over the weekend which was to get in more detail when we do some clean up those but it will start with you. Yeah, it's in your car.
What are you saying before the show?
You're not spending any money because you don't, you can't at the bar with that times are tough.
As you know, yes, especially spending stopped.
I like to think of it. You know, when you go to jail, I
might have said this last time where that's it to get Frozen, you know, everything gets frozen.
Yeah, I've just done that. So self-inflicted, you will stay
home and you will not spend any money.
That's, it's Frozen. Having said that I did sell the
130i hatch, which was good, because I'd had that for a while, and I knew that, well, I thought it would sell quicker that car, but I knew that whoever bought it would be someone that specifically wanted a Hatch BMW in a manual you know it's a bit of a niche car so I suppose I'm not overly surprised that it took a bit longer to sell because you've got to be really looking for that which this guy was he appreciated it?
Ironically he had an SP 20, same as yours many in bright yellow.
So yeah, I think I might have mentioned this last week.
Anyway, I but yeah. They finally picked that up and
yeah, happy with it and off into the sunset.
So that was good. I'm driving around in my mom.
He banned Volkswagen the opposite end of the car evolutionary scale, seventh dated bezel, Auto and massive.
So that's good to drive, it's very comfy.
I like that part economy of that 2-litre diesel.
It's a very relaxing, easy car to place on the road you know given its 0 square U backing. It and everything.
The footprint is not bigger than a normal case 0.
You think that it's huge but really it's just normal.
Length and width. You just very boxy and up high.
So I am, I'm quite enjoying driving that.
I mean, I enjoy driving most things are by, but yeah, that, that particular one is very relaxing.
Excellent. So, there's that, what else I
jumped in the pig tractor, the little diesel 190 on the weekend, I was where that is stored.
So, I did drive that around and fortunately, I had the good, the good thought a few weeks ago to fill that with diesel.
So it's nice getting in a car. Our Let's Go full tank of diesel
vertical. Think about a spinning buddy,
filling it up. So I took that forever a joint
and went to a few antique shops and didn't buy anything crazy to when I didn't spend your money there.
But yeah I you know you always reminded when you get in that car, why you like it, what I bought it and all that so that was good. What else comes with us?
What else, what else? Don't think.
No, I think that's it. I've got status quo, very good
for kill me. Will You Free Will and moving
around Common Thread through glad Fred.
Fred moving on to Adam. How you going man updates when
you're in it. It's a good list.
Uh, Joe and you see that might not, there's been plenty of changes. Lots of changes.
So, still have this stage, I have advertised it, but I've done a really bad job advertising a mainly because I don't want to sell it. It's got its going to have to go
now but yeah, this is the next couple days actually I'm going to put on car sales and Just take some fresh photos.
And well, I'm not. So the stage you has to go but
of we've sold my partner had her salika sold 400,000 case Alika for 7470, and was a bit of a bidding war between a guy from Adelaide. And a guy from Port Macquarie
and the guy from Port kinda one well.
So got really good money for. It was so sad to say, but we
still keep in touch because he liked both.
Is parties were adamant about buying it as a bit of a collective sort of thing. So they keep in touch with us
and let us know. That Lola is okay, so what has
replaced? Lola bought.
A 2nd gen Honda Jazz. I managed to get the VCI manual.
So 1.5 manual Jazz and I forgot how great those cars are have.
Have bought the I did some photoshopping, you guys.
All enjoy this. This is not know, probably to
listening to this but you'll see so So I've bought for the VC is Wheels. I've ordered some spaces and
some i bark lowering springs and a paint, the wheels and like an anthracite gray. And it's going to look like
this. Yeah, yeah, that's me.
He's a bit and it was over. And that's it, silver.
Yeah, but that's the thing. I think we discussed last time I
was on the show. I'm gonna get these stickers
made up for the side of it. Yeah, it'll be texting.
So that's that's happened. So that's in the process a
moment and then to replace the stage here.
Yeah. Just as I said, I love that car.
But the roads here are so bad and a lot of the gigs I do like on properties Romeo and Hunter Valley and became in the corner.
Recently nearly hit a wombat and my - Wayne okay.
If I hit that one but that's the front bar, front quarter Bonnet, probably headlight. Where am I going to?
Get those parts from water that what's this going to cost me?
So I've gone and bought a second generation Honda CRV and I bought an aborted, a lift kit for it.
Already got wheels on it and this is the inspiration.
Oh, that's cool. Our year.
Look at that. Ha ha ha.
Yeah, so yeah, so everything most of the stuff is ordered haven't ordered The tires out. But again, brilliant, brilliant
things. So two very boring cars but with
a few tasty mods, will hopefully come out nicely.
So now become a Honda family again, Honda Jazz Honda, CRV Subaru, WRX and still have the stage here and still had the MX-5. Well, I think David's not here
tonight, but he'll be very happy to hear that you're becoming a Honda. Yeah.
So he was, he was partly. He was a bit of an influence
honestly, after training last time.
I was I thinking something else. That's he's he's the man, the
myth, the legend when it comes to Honda's, he's owned, many lineage as many as CRV and all those and I drink or judge you had that time it and that was cracking his Drive.
Yeah. And mine was only that one point
he, but there's such a versatile car for the size there.
So Frugal the magic seats, a brilliant.
It really is a punch above their weight.
Those those chairs are so great. Yeah.
They still look good, they look pretty normal.
There's just the seats are great and bolster and comfy, and there's just, there's not a lot. I don't like about them.
You know, they're just good. Yeah, I had, I had a gig
recently where I literally had to take my DJ controller.
So not like a full drum kit and Pa and everything.
And it was, let's say a little distance away and as a pretty wind and deserted Road at 2:00 in the morning and I gave it a pretty, proper go. And I was blown away at how
great that little Curry. Even on the standard 15
sanitizer about that wide. Yeah, like hypothetically.
If you were an intern stability and traction or hypothetically mid-corner hypothetically lifting it off it just it just kind of overseers nicely but it's hypothetically really easy to get back in and hypothetically slides around really easily spot conducted in Mexico.
Yeah yeah and all all will like an under the speed limit Sighs amazing. Yeah, yeah, yeah, two things
with that car. And what I want one, when I
drove when I drove Ed's money at that time.
And there was there was awesome and Driver really, really holds the well holds the road. Well, just really comfortable
and a nice little gearbox but to, I can't believe, Honda doesn't sell it anymore. Like what are they doing in
Australia? Where a crazy, you make anything
out of it? It's not because I didn't want
to hit some. Yeah, with whatever pressures
are going on globally, but it's going to make me money on.
And so what it wasn't real, really, not that, not that, it's not a good car, but it's not like that.
So like they, they Souls like, I know, but it's there are bigger things at play than you and I realize the back end of producing them and getting them here and what they'd have to Market it out here to make it, to make it profitable.
The market won't take that price, so it's just so cute if they could bring it even cylinder. 1809 you 2295 and make
money. Absolutely they'd bring them in
but they can't, you know, it was going to be like Like, I don't know the figure B at the, it was way more than that.
It was going to be, like, starting at 2627.
It's like, know people aren't stomaching that.
Well, how much does it matter to start out like 25?
I don't know. I'll use a better color than -
to know. I like my dessert is gonna
happen, you know, unfortunately, you can't bring in 4,000, it will billions of them and lose money on every one, you'll go back up real quick. So yeah, it is named The Flower
Market not viable and and people people aren't that into a job.
That they're going to pay x amount over the odds to do it.
You just don't know when I hate that.
Also HIV is only slightly more and and everybody wants their she be so it's yeah, yeah, it's a hard.
It's a hard argument to follow. So, the child needs a feeling
that nicely and alas, we don't have jazzers, but it just means the ones that are here are more valuable.
Yeah. Muted Edition was also in silver
atom and it had, it wasn't at the wheel is charcoal is you're doing but it did have the the limited edition charcoal ish, its with Polish Alloys. Yeah, no one's sort of platinum
edition, is it? It's what is it Jazz?
Might just be called, put Edition.
But it had fog Leah what, you know, those nice wheels and it was a good-looking car. Yeah.
Yeah, we again with the spaces and like, just this much lower in space is do amazing, things for cars and it's like a super underrated. I know you're not supposed to
put them on but yeah. So this space is on on a
standard wheel and slightly low I'm sad so much so much stance like a test. It just fills out the guard a
bit better. Also yeah.
Yeah. It's like it's like it's like
the difference between like a fit person being fit normally in a fit person that has just left the gym.
Good analogy. Great.
And so you become 100 on the family.
So you're going to keep the Rexy or is that still on The Chopping? Yeah.
You know what? I was going to sell it until the
interest rates and all this stuff has happened because I just think at the moment. Yeah.
Like people just aren't spending as I did the really high end of the market that no, nothing's going to affect that.
They're like, no, the to do STIs and R34 GT-R, that's always going to be going crazy. But in that era can under
Thousands of above, 20 grand under a hundred thousand dollar range. I just don't think people are
that willing to spend money, so I'm just going to wait.
I'm no rush, there's something. If someone has to offer me great
money for it, I'd sell it tomorrow.
But I'm not, I'm not, I'm in no rush to sell the barracks and I think it's going to be another probably five years until prices or started creeping back up again.
And I'm happy to hold on to it for that long.
Yeah, I do need to start at haven't started it and over a year. So yeah.
Yeah, need their needs. It's just under a cover.
So yeah, need to start is it is a storage that or is it just let me know? Yeah, yeah.
No. This is it.
Like I just any comment on it. I'm just terrified.
It's going to get a scratch or something as it's honestly.
So meet such Mint Condition. So, yeah, I'm just, yeah, yeah,
which is terrible. I should be on drive it.
Ya know how you feel, they know how you feel.
Where is your ass man you-you-you in New South Wales in Sydney for a for an EV Expo. How did that go?
Yeah, good good. I was it sort of gave a little
bit of the car show wives, even though most car companies fail to participate, even if they did have an Eevee next year though, there will be the second time around and I think they will be paying big bucks to hold big stamps there.
Because this time around only some serious Brands like byd mg, it was certain degree. I'll divvy was there.
They were mainly around and mg did launch them G4 there which is supposed to be an affordable electric hatch but they didn't announce the price. So now people are wondering if
it's going to be around 45 Grand which is more than what people were expecting. and, Yeah, it was, it was good.
I think they had about 15,000 people attend or a very Niche show like nobody really knows about it.
They didn't really promote it through the mountain stream media. So next year, that will easily
get 40,000 people attend. But it was good.
They had most of owner, bought electric vehicles there.
And Very few other Technologies and charges and things of that sort. And yeah, and I was it was good
just a lot of people attended and the general Vibe was that this is sort of the start of something.
I mean these guys do a show in the UK, they easily get fifty thousand. Plus people walked up, okay,
because then going and doing it for a couple of years now.
Yeah, so yeah, I'm G4 was good byd.
That DJ is they had a whole lot of things.
I think that would have easily. Sold for 500 cars.
And just that one show, okay? Just huge domotics.
Such a quality product and you've said in it Matt.
So I got a chance to speak to the byd management and they reckon that one of the first Dolphins will be mindful to review who in the finally swim to our Shores.
They getting to next month's. So that should be that that
product it's going to be a game changer.
MJ's just piss fighting around. Not really doing anything
properly because they said it's going to be launched in the second half of the. Well I will they send any to
Australia when they can sell every single one on the sent to the UK? Yeah.
So whereas byd will be sending cars here first, so ya know, exciting times, just, it is good to see that, you know, even though it's different types of cars, at least there's a path to Future motor shows, because we haven't Had any and the only real show we have is the Brisbane truck show and once again, no cars, no, no order sell on none of the shows like they have in Europe, China or u.s.
So yeah, let's let's see. But overall good show and I
think there's plenty more product coming out soon.
You guys were going to take a yearly occurrence, like a yearly thing. You went to the motor show, like
yeah, it was an exciting. Yeah, it was You know, I never
miss it. Yeah, never miss the, yeah, you
can all the Shadows since Sydney.
International motor show is like, the thing.
I look forward to every year, there was the everybody get down my granddad and my best night. And yeah, never miss it.
And it's like, well, informed, from all accounts, I said are they were splitting between Sydney, Melbourne, Sydney, Melbourne, and then they just stopped.
And then they said, on the cross, it to astronomical to run it, the car companies don't want to spend the money to do it.
So it kind of like, you know, just felt We lie just like, yeah. What I'm doing anymore and kind
of nobody really bad. And I but it's just sad because
I used to go to that every year. Yeah.
And they would always be heaps of people there too.
So like I don't know if it was just it was just well I think just a to cost cut to cut costs. I should say or just they just
didn't really you haven't had any interest or much interest from consumers but it is sad and it's interesting that the be eating EV space. Dear.
They're trying to do it and get something from it.
I think that's that's the hope. Point.
I think the sad part about what they used to have is the digital media companies have basically effed it up for people and Enthusiast. I really wanted to go and see
the stuff because now car companies, when they have to think about advertising and marketing budgets, they said, well, hang on Facebook and track where everyone goes, they know what they like. So that more targeted
advertising and same with the car experts.
And real was in all these guys are the world.
But then again it just leaves the enthusiasts behind because they wanted to go see the cars in one place and now that the car companies are saying you know, rather than spending half a million dollars of being at a show and Manning it for two days or whatever. We'll just spent half a million
dollars, you know, with wheels and car wrecks.
But they'll be able to get us as many clicks to our website.
Without really saying that, when people used to attend, it might not be millions of people, but when people attended the ever go on Older family and friends about hey I just saw this car.
You've got to test drive it or check it out.
So it's short-sighted thinking and that's just killed the whole throw like grieve with you. Yes.
Sorry. It's very I can only talk for
BMW as I work for them at the time and I worked at plenty of motor shows, then yeah. There was a huge cost to put it
on and I know that for BMW back in the mid-2000s it was around a million bucks to do a motor show.
So of marketing budget, and that's, you know, paying for the stand Space but the kid out of it all the promo people working on the stand as well as sales staff and head office staff and we all had to get suits made tailor-made for us to work on the stand. You know like it was a massive
operation and exactly what you said is it's very unfair, it's intangible you know how many people go to Motor?
Show actually end up buying a BMW, I would argue very few now the cool factor and the tell your kids factor and the getting that branding will psyche when you're fourteen.
So you I won when you're 35, you can't quantify that.
It's very hard to say that million dollars was well spent because in ten years time, we've sold all these three series because we got in the brains of kids back then, but who the hell knows, you know? So their argument at the time
was, this is costing us a lot of money.
It's getting more and more expensive to do it.
And yeah, we're better off doing something measurable like a targeted Drive day, where we can track who was there and we can track who bought a car, sent it It might be short-term thinking, but you can also put the other hat on and go.
Oh well, that's that makes more sense than putting a motor show on for kids from all over the freaking country, going to my car. And to be honest, car clubs and
enthusiasts are the worst people for buying new cars.
They never do you know, very real.
Yeah, the most tied up pernickety picky bunch of our souls and I'm one of them that you'll ever find will suss out a used car, you know, way were any Either way because we can because we're in that world and we know how rather than just going and said you got a new one, anyone can go buy new one, idiot could do that, but it takes a bit of skill to be able to find a good use one. So, you know, we don't always
laugh when they said all the BMW car clubs coming into coming into Melbourne to do an event. So yeah, that's great and come
in and use to show him the never going to buy a new car.
You know, they'll don't always wait till it's done all its depreciating and then they'll pounce because they're smarter than that, you know? Yeah.
And I think that that's the, it's a bit of a loss.
Loss. And I think we're that's
creating this opportunity is around, you know, some of the newer brands that then say well we'll take it one step further, we won't even advertised with the online media companies like the veals of the world will just go and do these little mini events because nobody's doing it.
That's what we what he was doing there to DJ there.
They're like and they do these activation events a lot and they could like, young people, I went to a Billy, Ales, concert with byd up in Sydney, couple of months ago.
And it was, it was all the young people that were there, right?
And they had a byd on display and they were having the after party's next to the byd. But I think they can do that
worries. I think it works because it's
new tech and everyone interested in it.
Whereas if I was to launch the new 3-Series BMW now or the next gen Corolla, it doesn't work. It's all saturable its own.
Known, you know, people would come to that.
You get very little interests. I think.
But because EV, and particularly byd is, and EV only brand is so fresh and it's the Hot Topic on everyone's lips.
Okay, great. This is new shit.
I want to go see it. Don't think it would work for
other more established Brands, I think, you know, I think you know how to do as well with budget.
Go, if you go, let's say with inflation that BMW standard a motor shows, probably close to two million dollars.
Now, you can, you can get you Can get Billy.
I should do a gig to say 1.2 million, it's been another 800
thousand bucks on marketing, all of that and then you got a bunch of social assets, get a bunch of other beautiful people there.
Then you've got, you know, months and months worth of brand exposure, all over Instagram, all over Tick-Tock.
Yeah, kind of from byd, but it's Billy eilish being a spokesperson for it. Just makes more sense if you
just get more assets to play with, and then just a motor show. I suppose the only one wondering
where the It would I think we're seeing when it was a card.
Once we started saying this was with World Time attack a lot of the traditional manufacturers suddenly started going hang on a sec. He's a really captive Market
here really broad demographic and it's the kind of cool keep driving with World Time attack and drifting.
So all of a sudden, you know, Toyota and Subaru were there with the BRZ and you know, the Toyota Peru Twins and then BMW M, where they're at all of the M cars.
So, do you when you got events like that or Goodwood Festival of speed there. Kind of more Niche things that's
where it's again smarter to put your money into that because then you can see the cars sliding around the track and yeah Drive days and all that sort of stuff here but it can Tow Motor Show. I just don't think make sense
anymore. If any of us were sitting there
with kpis and our salary dependent on it with a marketing budget in front of us and we had to decide where to spend it.
I think it would be pretty hard to go.
Let's do a two million dollar Motor Show.
Everything's online. Like what brochure?
Can't you get online? You can go and YouTube review do
after You, you know, what's 10, people reviewing, a card live, rather than picking up a Wheels magazine.
Like, there's so much you can get.
Now elsewhere, are you don't need to get Motor Show to pick up a ready, brochure to get your little fix.
I think it's, it's dead for numerous reasons, you know, even though I liked it, like, I don't like it, but I don't think it for a lot of reasons yet, I was like, at the, at the Grand Prix.
I think a few years in a row Jaguar, had an experience, had little skid pan. Set up there and you just line
up and they throw you in one of the cars and they just go around and thrash around with you in it and there you go.
But guess what? You got.
Not just hand me the keys. They're getting your name and
your email before you jump in. Yeah.
No to do it. So, hey, they've got people that
have driven, the Jaguar, you know, beautiful little audience that they can Market to and do something else with.
It's all like you've got to get something or give something to get that reward. You know what is a mocha show
you did buy ticket walk in? They've got no idea who you are.
How much money you don't? How you driving when you're
going to buy another one? Don't know anything.
It's totally it's throwing money into the wind really from their point of view, and it's not big enough.
No, no, strain, Mafia hits. You know, Europe America.
It's not worth bringing all your cars down here to have a motor show. It's all right, we were moving
to you, you give or take, but why is it that we've got one of the most saturated markets? What brand wants compared to
anywhere in the world yet? We've got one of the smallest,
you know? Except for Toyota's but shells
two hundred thousand cars a year later.
Everybody else you know doesn't and the fact that we still got like a running at 60 Branch or something that data for sale in in in Australia currently almost huge.
You something up. Yeah it's nuts.
Like it bugs the minor as how that works.
I mean what I want to the motor shows is a kid.
My dad used to take me in you know like I'll be like I'm going to get one of those one day and you can be end up buying one of those one day but also you get that brand affinity and now I think that's what R is was talking about like you get that you get a bit of affinity The brand and, you know, like I really like what they're doing here.
You know, if I could somehow are in one of their cars, one day, it's something to Aspire to and I guess seen the YouTube and stuff videos and things, you know, it's just for specially like new reviews and things. It kind of like it's a bit of a
discount like there's like the cards there and in your here and in the middle there's just there's a interweb space which is kind of not giving you that tangible experience with the car, which would you you might, you might look at it and be like that looks great and see. It in like this is shit like
this is, this is crap. Like I yeah too high or or you
know it's this I don't feel comfortable in it.
The blind spots are terrible as the three and and you wouldn't get that. Like I'm a big bombers.
Don't remove the three guy, but I got into the internal light into the latest one. And I wouldn't have done it
until I sat in one be like, that is the most horrendous blind spot I've ever seen. Like, you like that, it's like
kinked up like that for to make it the to make the car look really good and aggressive, which it does looks hot.
You know, you would have done that again.
You losing that tangible experience with the cost.
So but again, I do see, you know, two million dollars.
It's not exactly a, you know, it's not exactly a small amount of money so it does make sense as to why they're moving on.
But anyway, moving on, Scotty update with you, man.
Before we get into today's topic, last care.
Mine will be fairly quick. This will be the very last time
that I will be in this house. So, next weekend, doing the big
move so we'll be in a Whole new room and new house and everything. So you got your little bit.
So I am probably won't have everything set up yet by then, but, you know, so I won't have my car collection and that will set up behind me, where I'll do well, do the podcast but, you know, will be on news. So that'll be special security.
Just a quick one. Yep.
When are we going to be invited at the Hope Island Golf Course, where your mansions that because we know you're an avid golfer We get tips from you all the time and would just love to know where this golfing and the car passion comes together.
So would like to visit one day more.
Yes. Don't forget us.
That's all I'm saying, you know. I'm so I never how could I
forget you? This is Scotty.
Buys cars based on if you can fit his golf clubs in the back of it. Like I mean that's the reason
why I'm raising its reason why he's going to 31 in a little bitty before that. These are the two, he's a
series. Yeah, easily figure clubs.
Well, this is, this is the reason why Scotty's stopped listening to rap because in some rap songs, it says, hopped off the porch and into a Porsche, but the Porsche doesn't fit the golf club, but he's like, no, I'm not listening.
I'm just listening to Zen music so I can buy vehicles that I can get my golf clubs in and move into bigger and better property.
So congrats. Scotty forward to seeing your
new about thank you. All five never play golf in my
life and I've never had a go at it or they're buying mountain bikes. And I feel like there's like
this is like this is where a normal human sits.
And then you've got like extreme sports over here and I'm in this group were just holding onto youth for dear life and pretending, I'm much younger than what I am.
We're mature people like yourself again.
No no I don't want to fall off a bike racing downhill.
I'm going to take up golf, there's a both sports seem to be blowing up with all my mates but no one does both.
That's so true. True.
Yeah, I mean I always played golf even like as a teenager here and there, but then I just dropped off quite a while and was doing all the other things like skateboarding and stuff like that. But, you know, at 35 and I think
I can really skate anymore. I'll see ya.
We got my golf again. As Adam said, you were on the
extreme side and in there. Now you're a mature man playing
playing golf. So I mean if you listen to any
of the other reason besides but probably the last Ten episodes we ending the episode on a Scotty's golf tip of the week because because he's a, he's, an avid golfer now.
But anyway, that's, that's my mentor issues golf is having to wear a polo shirt and I'm just, I'm not ready for that yet.
Yeah. You don't have job dropped off
and just normal t-shirts and stuff like that, but it's not really like that. Scotty.
Your shoes and you know whatever.
Yeah I guess it depends what golf course you're going to.
Hmm, you just say with the basic ones, you can't rock a nice.
Just a nice normal t-shirt and that's fine.
School had two things that interest me about golf is one Happy Gilmore and to the golf carts because I just want to just drive race them and crash them and hopefully not die but apparently people die in them every year.
Do you use a golf cart? Like is that it's like a golf
buggy. Did you get into one of those
and Go go sideways and all that or was no I have before but because I want to try and get a bit of exercise and stuff.
I tend to just walk the 18 holes now because otherwise I don't really do any exercise so it's good to do that but he has sometimes you you want to jump in the car and it is a lot of fun and they can tip over very easily.
We'll go for me so years and that's definitely experience with me and my brother, definitely very good.
Look, we'll move on to tonight's topic General.
Now. Now Adam you, Reasonable to
reason upside you you just dropped one today but the previous episode was of basically what would you what could you buy instead of buying and this you know something else like something that was brand new correct.
So so basically what could you spend your money on potentially save us? Thousands of dollars on their
you had some really good examples on there it's gonna be happy when I tell him this one about the the Pajero you choose to buy I cafeteria like what you've got Edward and then you know you're happy happy man you can you can buy that over pretty much any other four wheel driving And it'll it'll drive nice to be more reliable and and everything.
And it got me thinking, I'm like, what are some other ones that we could discuss? And obviously, you've put some
real good ones in that episode of the show did just before we get said, I would ask you a question about it.
Did that come about of like, people coming as you?
Like I've only got this much money, but I can't wait two years to three years, for a Toyota RAV4.
What could, yeah, what could I buy it?
What could I do? What could I buy now?
That is better value like literally, yeah, that is that's exactly how it came about and on Publications.
So we didn't really have a plan of doing a multiple multi-part series but by popular demand yet part 2.
Came out to not part 3. Everybody wants it will be out
next week. Yeah, and we're talking you know
like tonight's episode was 70 series Land, Cruiser is a classic up here. It's over to go to, I need to
look tough thing to buy and didn't have clothes.
The Toyota of close the books on it and if you want to buy a current pre-owned when you're looking at sometimes North too.
Hundred thousand dollars which is amazing for something that generally doesn't come with power windows and then on the weekend my friend has one that he very cleverly bought a couple of years ago because he went looking for an ex mining one you know for 40 50 Grand or whatever.
And he was just like oh God they're all stuffed and and it's not that much. I knew so he cleverly somewhere
around. Might have been 2019, he bought
a new workmate, 70 and I drove it.
This week on and he's done a lot of mods, you know, like it's cheap. It's raining.
It's got the fat tires on it, the data and I drove this time ever, you know, and I thought, just to give him a couple of Snippets. I thought it drives very well
for a truck, no question, but as I was motor during long in this thing that's costing God knows how much money or and what it's worth. I thought you the Pajero you
know actually sort of sort of drives better.
Oh yeah. Better, everything drives better
than for a Trippy. It was good.
No question. There's better than one stand
but he's had to do a lot of mods just to make it livable.
Yeah, you heard it said it will. It's it popped up from a bunch
of reasons. We also had somebody a friend of
mine called me up the other day and she was saying I you know, she has my car is getting really old.
I really need to get a new car wondering what to get What do you recommend? And I said it, what it?
What it look, how would you Koch has Arts really old?
Its from 2018. Anyway, that's that's not all it
shows. You had to 2018 Q7 and I went oh
thank you so much. Probably should tell him.
It's like in doggy throttle rabbit years, you know.
So it's like yeah Toyota. 2018 is like hasn't even ads for
service. You know, whatever and and Q7
2018 is like 90 years old. It's interesting to sort of go.
Wow. Like some people think that a
car that's 2089 that's really all.
I got to get rid of it and that's why, you know, Again the video came up again will do you, but do you really need to buy a new and young part of read ribbon is to try to encourage people to recycle what they're what they're buying.
And, you know, not not buying new, for the sake of buying noobs. A lot of people do that and a
bit again. Yeah, the cars that are on these
enormous back orders now RAV4, Huge back orders on the Embrace of red for hybrid I30 an I-20 in the order books are closed.
Jimny order books are closed on the Auto 5 doors going to sell out within minutes when it's when it's finally, when deposits are able to be taken. So yeah, it was it got a much
bigger response than we're expecting weary.
I thought it might just kind of pot around in the background that video and it's I've looked at the numbers but it yeah, through Tuesday video for us. It was a big one.
Do you think the market is always going to be like that?
Do you think we're ever going? To be able to catch up to orders
and things. Are we always going to be
chasing our Tails? No, I think, I think the
semiconductor the issue will start resolving.
I think the problem at the moment is this transition period, so, where he owned a Q&A and Kia have the challenge, whether but his immense demand for I30 and I, 20 n, I'd new I-20 facelifted I-20 and is around the corner, but with the I30, they're kind of going will. Do we invest any more money into
this car and the I30 in general, when we should be doing EVS, But they haven't got the ATVs down to an affordable Point yet.
So the ionic 5 n is going to be bloody expensive.
It's gonna be north of 100,000 bucks and a whole different market and I ran out of done the same Renault of wrapped up the Megane RS, and there's no replacement.
At the moment, it's called there is a PS2 wrapped up, as because they're just not making fiestas anymore because everyone's pointing Pumas in Europe, there's no point to have a Fiesta ST anymore. So it's yeah, really funny,
transition point but I think, yeah, I think on Some identities, a blanket statement of what?
Yeah we're going to catch up on no we're not just depends on the model and the car. I'm not sure that what we're
seeing at work Scotty with some of our modeling days because we track all the retail offers out there in the market for the last two years. They've been bad girl offers
because there was demand is outstripping Supply.
So why are you going to do a deal on a car or promote an offer? You got an order Q out the door
that's coming off, you know, so this first half of the Year orders are still being fulfilled and People are riding on the coattails of that a little bit, but we predict the second half of this year, he's going to be quite different, you know, a lot of those orders will either be fulfilled, although cancel, because they can't afford to. Now, take it because their minds
thousand dollars a month, more than it was Island.
That's the money. I was going to put towards that
car when it finally arrives, so they'll be a bit of that.
But once all that washes out, we're even seeing now, you know, those, those incentives are starting to come back particularly on. Ian grades, you know, we're
still dictated to largely in Australia by parent, companies overseas, who say, you know, you will take X number of these you'll take X number of those. Now, those aren't necessarily
what we want. Everyone wants the Honda,
everyone wants the the RAV4 hybrid, but the other models, the more normal models that not, everyone wants will see some incentives creeping into the market on those.
So, I, we predict that second half of 23 is not going to be as joyous as first half of 23 and that demand will dry out.
Those orders new car orders will dry up and people will be sort of battling matches a little more than him.
Yeah, you know, you noted on the Richter interest rates Rising.
I was enjoying her car wholesaler.
And with the big dealership up here recently, he was saying they're already feeling the effects of people, canceling their orders. So range of raptor, they had
huge amounts of orders on Ranger Raptors, and those people are being outgoing. Knobs can get my deposit back.
I'm not going to order it anymore.
Lady that goes to my gym. She was telling me that with
With her home loan, and two small investment properties.
And with these with, as of April to fix Robux left, she's got to find an extra $800 a week. Like that's huge.
So she's selling she. And she and her husband is
selling their to the got a relatively new Merc and a relatively new Audi and both selling them and she was like what can I get for like 15 grand?
Because we just can't, we can't. We cannot afford the cars.
The homes, the whole like 800 bucks a week, that's it.
I want. What's that?
A motherfreakin actually almost a month?
Yeah, seriously. That's my stolen.
So you've got to earn, you know, almost double that to sit say that after tanks. It's yeah.
And that's why at card talk. We've had our expert, dr.
Alan deep-sea Challenger, Deep Singh.
He has said, Magnus our reception proof.
Yeah. So they should upgrade to 1988
mitts. Rishi Magna and whilst they do
that then that way they can find every eight hundred dollars or whatever they need, I'm weak but that's where things are going.
Like you know, and the interest rate Rises up, there's more to come. It's not like things are slowing
down anytime soon. So it's going to be I think that
you're right. Like this is this is where
things are going rav4's. Used to have at 18 months
waiting time. Now, people are like so happy.
They're like, ah, I placed an order table table.
I might Dealer rang and saying, the car is ready and I'm thinking that's because 300 before you have cat and sold and I'm sent there's just people can't pay 60 grand for RAV4.
That's exactly what I think is happening.
My brother, he for tax purposes for his business.
He want to forward to buying and, you know, the new ranger and and they're like, they that he walk in, they laughed at him.
And I'd like my, you're not getting one for 18 months, he's like, all right, so he called around and he called Bendigo Ford. And he's like, look, I'm just
calling around. You got any you got any Ranger
wildtrak basics'. He's like, actually, we've had
two cancellations like today and they in the country and you can have yours in two weeks if you put a deposit on it.
Right now, instead of waiting the the over 12 months is like, yep, I'll send you my money across right now.
So and he's like, look, I just got lucky but he's like a cool like four or five other dealerships and I was laughed at me like my you're dreaming. If you're thinking you if you
can get in the car. So Cottle top tip if you, if
you're after something, maybe shop around a few dealers because you never know who might have cancer their orders, especially at this into the country.
This is a country that's also a source of.
Yeah, it's funny. We gave the kids a lot of the
prices that we quote, on some of our videos that get in the comments below being now bullshit.
You can't get a car for that price but yeah, you can go regional and local wholesalers. Yeah.
Auctions and wholesalers like West Way West.
Amazing. What deals you pick up out
there? Absolutely.
Yeah. I was just like, wow, really
cool musical a time when you when you come on like what are you guys? Like are just sort of deranged.
I'm getting in like two weeks. I'm like what do you mean you
getting into? Like I couldn't believe what
he's saying. Anybody's acts the exact same
thing reason he's like so I kept caught around called your called country Regional areas and they said yeah we got to cancel today. Come come, do you got your pick
of a gray or white one? Take your pick and he's like,
I'll take the great one so out of Interest.
Matt, what's he doing the old Ranger?
He's going to sell it privately. Maybe you're all traitors, all
trading it in uses different. Yeah, you know,
and he's like ones that I got with 80,000 case with saying Go for 65. So he's like, he's like, I've
virtually how could sell it tomorrow and he's like I'm still doing so so I think that's why he's choosing to do that.
But yeah, it's just it's just it's just Insanity.
What what, what's happening markets?
I've been a whole mindset shift. It was like, you know, first it
was, you know, you obviously wouldn't drink over, you know, people are buying out buying cars but now it's kind of a bit of a bit of a hidden them on the air, on the handbrake there and it's also it's also going down. So did you hear about talking
about interest rates and that with Uber drivers, the deal that boober do if you buy a car through them?
No, no war. So, that's probably why you see
a lot of Camry Hybrid surround as Uber drivers because ear you can get one of those through them.
And there's a weekly payment that you have to pay them and it is a lot. So, I got to try and make a
profit on that and in the end when you end up paying it off, That carrying hybrid would have cost you between 70 and 80 thousand dollars, what? Yeah, so I can guarantee you a
car but they all the be like, well, this is what it's going to be that that's that in say they that's a weekly payments and take years and years and in the long run, you've just bought a Camry Hybrid at the end for 70 to 80 grand in a few years time.
So yeah, if you can, don't do that.
Yeah, well we'll get into a A few of the few of, you know, what you could buy, if you can't get ahold of these, now I can remember, Adam, did you mention the the new Civic type-r last week? No, no, I didn't didn't mention
it. No, yeah, that's another one.
We should put it on the list for next week.
Yeah. Yeah.
We talked about the FL five is from all accounts a cracking car. It's the best drivers car.
This side of a 911 GT3 RS, from all accounts.
It is, you know one of the best manuals, you can get XYZ.
Obviously, you cannot get one for quite a, quite a substantial amount of time. Bigler, some quite expensive to
like they're there in the 70s now.
Yeah. Which got me thinking what other
hot hatches like. Well, hot hatches because like
this hot hatches in this come like hyper hatches, I guess.
I guess they call them there. You can get for see more money
or for for cheaper and here there is quite a stir.
There's quite a lot, a lot to choose from.
So I was going to say straight off the bat, you've got your last ocean Focus RS which is, which is a, which is a crack at that. I was going to stay straight off
the bat. Yeah, which you can still get 50
in lower, which is, which is, which is pretty pretty good value for what you get and you able to get those.
Now, it's want to hear your thoughts on those.
Got on that, guys, do you reckon that's a good alternative to our to assume typo? Because if you look at startups
and hates FK, it's a still very like this.
They're 70 grand. So if you want yeah, something
about 20 grand at, that's a good option.
Oh yeah, I was so fortunate when we was at card but we did a hot hatch Mega test and we had a limited edition RS, which is the one we call the diffs and type R and a bunch of other stuff.
And I actually had a run through the Victorian High Country in the type R vs, the RS. And I can't I'm not I'm not
going to tell you who the other driver was but could properly steer and I was amazed at how well that type are the only times that I park. Didn't get any of the photos was
out of the tightest of hairpins and generally a bit of a hill anywhere else that type are was all over the back of the RS.
And then we swapped, and this guy was a far better to drive than I am. He's a professional super car
driver and in same back again. Like this, could not get over
how capable. That's why power is.
So you might have to spend, I think the type are still more fun than a Focus RS. So my life to spend a little bit
of extra cash. On the Focus RS, too.
I suppose liven it up a little versus the type R.
But yeah, that's, that's, that's a good choice.
Yeah, I mean I was going to say if you can get into an F K8, a little bit cheaper. I reckon that's probably your
best bet, but seeing the use bronzer FK, it's just I water really expensive, especially for like, for like an update, the facelifted face of the version. You can get into an early one
for ya like lows, mid to high 50s.
More from what I what I saw. Yeah.
It's not to look at yourself to look at it, but that's the problem. Yes, we've all said that the
best-looking Honda type out their face.
Every every, every one, every journal.
And every fan in the world, I think said, you know what, if haunted us make this thing look great.
They won't be able to make enough to them and look, what's happened. Yeah, so yeah.
So would you guys just say Type R?
See, if K-8 and a, and I wrestle with the be, another option.
Like I was going to say, you could even go for like a really nice I30 in like the second hand, Hungry.
And I reckon that'll be a that'll be a cracker as well because yeah, I drove one recently and I fell in love with it. I want to do things hilariously.
Oh yeah, yeah, I thought he was, you know what the direct competitor, what I should put this in the video next week.
Make a direct competitor. Would be the I30 and Fastback.
Yeah. Because it's kind of that same
same boob. Sire as yeah.
What a cracking that's in that's actually in this week's video but that, that is a such an underrated car.
I think they look better than the hatch to be honest with you.
I know a lot of people that want to buy a Fastback over the over the edge back and there are shown on the hunt at the moment, but the guys that was keen on my 1:30, that's what he's driving.
And that's what he was selling to get some more cash in the bank, and he was going to go by the 130.
And I said, what are you asking for the N?
Fastback in a manual in red? It was 37 and I thought, well,
it's not crazy at it. Done about 54,000.
So somewhere there. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
That's that's not a bad thing to slip into.
That's a crack right great car for the money, like it's Jakob for that money to. Like, it's got everything like
they're really well, kidded and spect and and I reckon the ark and they look really hot like they're a hot-looking cards.
Yeah. They just they also that just
don't break when I know I've done a hate drawing to here today in and then we loved one of the last event I did was at the Queensland Raceway and it was like 38 degree day, so track temp, like low 40s and literally all day, just abused three or four different I30 ends around the track and like, went hard all day long. Did tires and brake pads, that
was it. No temperatures didn't wear on
any of the cars. Just, and even even Go.
As they had. Highly modified ones.
No mechanical problems like this.
They brilliant brilliant things. Yeah.
You're not the first person to say, I mean, like, how you're not even offering with the track warranty, which is just insane.
Yeah. Yes, post.
Everything any other car company offers in either of the cars with the track warranty, which is which, which says a lot about him. Yeah.
A Porsche GT. That's it.
That'll be it. Yeah.
Yeah. Any other any other hot hatch
you guys would recommend that. Would be for the Cecil money.
Like I don't know if you can get into an a 45, I've for like an early a 45. But again, I at that money.
I'd becoming one of your like a manual real drivers job.
Yeah, maybe maybe I'm a gun. Okay, Megara you've got the kind
of slight question. Mark over reliability, and
repair costs, which I know from experience, but fortunately, today they can be a cracking thing as well.
That's true. Yeah, there ya go.
To be a house have to have that on the list.
Yeah. So GI Yaris, has gone for about
50 s and look at ya. Even the most of the relative
position. Think that one, you know mid-50s
someone was selling one for very low case.
Yeah, well, I speak for the for that was the was if you get like a light hatch, STI, WRX, STI? Oh yeah, good call.
Like a real light one if you want to say because it's because they're in the 20s, you can get a real light one at like one of those and you still get that it's still hot hatch and they look good with the flared arches.
And yeah, and the updates do look better with the with a nicer body kit that I don't look, is as Kia, really.
No offense will carry. Oh, but I like the room, you
know. Yeah.
This is a, I think, I think that would be a really cool guy.
And if you're an aftermarket guy, EJ's, a good platform.
Provided you, you do your preventative stuff on them and I know from experience. Yeah.
Once upon a bearing, it's not fun, but it's a hits.
There are they are they are pretty good thing if you get under, you're going to talk to them.
So Yeah, the plenty of plenty of tracked eyes is like anytime you get a light Hill Club championships or track days.
There's always this stack of STI.
WRX has them. Yeah, with the right with the
right mods, my God, brilliant thing.
Absolutely next one, is a current C63 AMG.
You could buy. I mean there's a bit of a list
waiting list on it. Well, they're, they're finishing
the V8 now like it's I think there's just sold a lot final additions which are going to hold their value incredibly well. But if you're addicted to
something similar like a performance, a Performance sedan, for a lot less. I was going to say Lexus.
Is-f straight away. I think that is a great car and
you can get them in the 40s. A really good one could even get
a w204 C63, which sounds way better naturally aspirated, yeah, yeah, you don't get as much as a reliability as you doing Alexis, but it's still that they, that they just after driving one recently, I'm kind of a bit smitten with it.
What what about, what other guys would you recommend for that that kind of price range that what that alternative way around its midsize performance in I wonder what if he, if the interesting to look at the actual dimensions of the JSF, there's a hundred GS F isn't that much bigger than the C63?
Okay, I can, they might be, I have to look at that up but they could be. I know you like technically
they're different, you know, class categories and how they described that he actually Dimensions.
I think the GSF wouldn't be that much bigger, and the Gia tip is a party or something. Have You?
If you, if you drill a few of those, I'm Adam.
Yeah, yeah. I drove the certain addition
wasn't no big ring addition but it was what was it called?
I didn't honestly I had no real interest in it and I didn't really had it for a weekend was a press car and I was like okay all right cool I know that's right there's that weekend.
It was an RS6 Avant a missed out on the RS6.
I was gutted. Nothing I supposed to do with
Alexis and and Complete me was entirely one Meola.
Absolutely adore it. Yeah, brilliant thing everybody
that drives them. They say, they say that exact
thing. They said, they cannot believe
how good that car actually is. Yes.
F. I'm in the reasonably prompt an
appointment and he unfortunately, as much as I love Chris Harris and some of the, you know, my in Jetro, bobbington. Those guys, I feel like this is
a narrative that's being built around our year.
We'll the C63 s embedded in the M3 book.
Because of this like it is a bit less understeer at this point or the GS F. It's all complete bullshit.
But the only time you're ever going to notice any of that stuff is on the limit on a racetrack and even then if you can push any of those cars to that point, you've got to be a semi professional racing driver. Anyone that gets in an M3 or a
C63 or GSF or any of these. Even a pretty clear Stinger GT
up against the C63 in 99 percent of the populations hands.
And if they start telling you about Liftoff.
Oversteer and pushing at the front and they're lying.
Yeah. Is it in the real world?
Sorry, you just you just read you just reiterating what?
You've seen. Chris Harris, a on a video and
he is not human. He is rubbing ability to so far
beyond any of us. So yeah, yeah.
I get a bit annoyed wins. Yeah.
I've had people say, I was going to get a C63, but now just when we worry about the rear end grip like, oh, please, serious!
Do 10 track? Don't turn traction and
stability control if you'll be fine.
Fine. What you got to be driving?
Bloody hard to get to get to that point.
I do yanking it was watching a review on Krista.
Heads about the Fiesta ST, versus the Toyota Yaris gr and they said in everyday driving, the fiercest, more fun all the time, but obviously the Yaris is more cable but you have to drive it like an absolute tool to actually get it to that point yet. He's like, it is it is it really
worth the Experimental money for college, but she does the same thing in a little bit. Was always be absolutely because
he is gr, but, you know, like that.
He's like you have to be driving it like a complete cock like to absolutely, you know, can kind of get everything out of it.
Yeah. But anyway to answer your
question about in terms of how big how big a C-Class is.
A C-Class is 4 6, 8, 6 mil, and a GS F is a 4915.
So only about 300 mil different, which is not, which is not a lot, In terms of interminable, length of the car and I are going to JSF would be a cracking car and that that remains right thing is the video as glorious as its as its as it sounds on camera lies there. Just is just a beautiful.
No. Yeah, all right, it's
incredible. It's love.
Love a Japanese V8 because it's kind of The Best of Both Worlds.
It's got this old school kind of almost American muscle car, Rumble to it, but then because of the technology and it's almost European, like it's not like a flat plane, they hate birds. Yeah.
Japanese. It's it's like all things
Japanese. It's this is beautiful blend of
that. Bunch of different influences,
just does such a great job. I mean, Scott and I have
discussed is f so many times on this show and will ya and, you know, we, I think I fell in love with that kind.
Always moving always remember like and the talking exactly how you will see how you about what you talked about like with Chris Harris on top before Top Gear, test it against the M3s at all.
It's no M3 competitor. This tiny other, I don't like,
but that's kind of not what the car is.
It's, it's own kind of thing. And Like, whenever whenever you
talk to somebody about it better myself to be like, oh yeah, Bynum three, just a bit of car and I'm like, no, it's it isn't like that any kind of like puts a bit of a dampener on that on that car. If you know what I mean, like
people did remember this for me, even though they've never driven on some of the, like I've been fortunate enough to work with some incredible journalists in. I'd say, 30 percent of them can
really, really steep. You.
And I've done Road loops with some of these guys and and I remember first, you Road Loops at the, adhan, I won't mention their names, but remember discussing this is so fast.
Like this is this is insane speed that we're doing on public roads. This is kind of stupid or not.
Never in traffic, never in like the suburbs, it's always some remote place, where, you know, the only person Gonna Hurt is yourself, but only beginning to the end of this road loops.
And the guys, can you just sort of some kind of running out of brake, pedal, there, and starts to push a little wider nose, last corners. And I remember saying, who in
what world is anyone going to drive that heart like that of the population? And if you don't like it, also,
it takes immense skill to keep the car on the road at that Speed. Most people are going to be dead
before then or even thrown off into the shrubs somewhere.
So I just I get that part of their job is to push these cars and give feedback at the limit. But then, unfortunately, the
general public thing going. Well we are not going to buy
that car because understeer is at 180 kilometers an hour around a 90-degree turn. Like it's just so Stupid.
I've said it before on this program that, you know, the motoring journalist living in a bit of a bubble, you know.
And it's not that the jump from one press car to the next press cards to the next and it's not sort of a real world and they're paid to drive like that. And detest these cars to the nth
degree but your average motorist is nowhere near that limit.
The car has like a people would often say to me.
When I was selling BMWs, I did, you get scared on test drives, you know, with people fanging cars, And I said, no, because the car's got or 99% of the time, no, because the car's got way way higher levels of handling and grip than most people know how to drive. And so, you know what a thing
around that corner at 90. I know that a BMW 50/50,
beautifully balanced chassis will take that corner.
An idea not even squeal entire so they got to be going pretty pretty hard to to unstick something that that's that balanced. And yeah, I don't know, I think
I sort of I get annoyed when people make their buying decisions based on those things, as you said Adam.
Yeah. We're like this is not the real
world. The real world is you put cruise
control on it 105 and you sit there and you drive to Geelong, you know? Yep well I can't just think
about the Volvo S60 Polestar so this is sort of yes 2014 2015 era when they still had some representation in the V8 Supercar as I think or maybe that is finished.
Yeah, that they did. They did I've been in want T 6
pole star, if you had one came on the show to buy.
Yeah it was a quick car that was going to cause nice car.
I got to be known and they will drive for any front.
I can't remember we all Drive the all wheel drive.
Yeah, 157 odd, kilowatts. Yeah, you can still pick them
up. I mean, there are 40 to 50
Grand. I know it's about a 78 year old
car, but it's they're quite class.
See, they've got Other than the interior designer and the leather, and all the rest of it, with the power.
And so sort of like a bit of a sleeper, I don't think, you know, if I with most people don't want the first thing they won't be taking is taking the Winton because that's not what the car is about. But I think we are most proud of
it would do quite well with it six-cylinder engine, I unfold positive. So forward, it's similar pilot
who was kind of like the ending between Ford and Volvo with all kind of their kind of splitting like that.
That straight-6 was was, was quite as transversely mounted to, it was a bit of a, bit of a weird one, but I drove one back from the border from all Bree all the way back to to Melbourne, I'll drive Anthony's one.
When we picked up his old Toyota crown and I don't really like them. I, this is a, it was
comfortable. It was Bloody quick.
And a lot of like this and he only paid like 20 grand for his one like a few years ago. He paid you paid nothing for
because nobody wanted him. And he couldn't, he couldn't
sell it when he, when he upgraded to his his his territory turbo. But it was a bloody Quick Car.
The only issues with those. He had was the whole haldex rear
end kind of was like, yeah, nah. After after a little bit and
yeah, I remember he had to get that replaced.
Before he sold it, he had to put, but find a secondhand a haldex and done. Yeah, it was a pain in the ass
to get, but like, he's looking back now.
He's like, he's like, he wish he kept that car.
He was, you kept this stage are like, like what you've got on him, he's with, she's kept. Yuri scars.
But yeah that was a cracking kind and they were very they want a cheap car when they want to either an S60 Polestar they were very pricey. Yeah yeah not many of them from
our Europe, right? Like I mean we know the
traditional Mercedes and the BMW is but yeah Volvos quietly done.
A few small performance editions oh no brother selling his 2021 XC60 our design now and that's That's that's I think 260 kilowatts out of a 2-liter turbocharged.
Supercharged SUV, it's like zero to one and five and a half seconds for a large SUV like that and they were there around, I think 90 or something 90 to 100 New and if you get something like a GL, GL, C, 43 or 63, that's like 150 g +.
Yeah. So a lot of what was cars are.
Affordable, powerful luxury, sort of thing.
But yeah, it's even this S60, I think is quite quite nice, especially if you see one on the road there's a blue one that gives me you. Me blue, S60 Polestar, nice
blue. I like a bit of sweet speed.
I think I think there are cool car.
Yeah. They're they're they're a little
bit different to you standard um, you know, like they more if you know, you know kind of cars. You know?
I mean it's like a medicine. Yeah.
If you know, you know, you know, it's if you didn't, you just like ours. Just an old Volvo and I'll
measure but you know if you know you're like well that that's a like that person knows what he's got or she's gone, you know that they know what they know what they were, what their own so they would have had to visit. That's that's the epitome of
cool. Isn't it?
Like when you've got something at that site?
Yeah. If you know you know and if you
don't it just kind of vanishes in the background the V60 Polestar wagon was always. That's so high.
I am I want list. I'd love those.
There are called anything in a wagon, just cool.
Yet another like really like yeah yeah yeah yeah.
Well it's known C63 is if you see them in the wagon right?
You're just like most people think it's just a standard Mercedes wagon sort of thing which there's not many off in Australia to begin with but and then obviously the RS6 is all the world and you know, they are just cool cars in their own right. So yeah, it's like a wagon
train. We'll do what those cars do
like, you know, there's a, there's a two-way for wagon that tour for C63 wagon and I think I mentioned it last week ago, and it's just so cool. I'll sit around a few times,
it's lowered a little bit on some on the really nice AMG wheels and I'm just like, damn, it's a fact car.
Like you just looks good and sounds mad and I'm just I'm like that. So that's another kind of like
damn like that. Got that guy for specifically
wanted a wagon for that exact reason.
Yeah, I yeah the respect that. So if you want Only to buy
little a cc threes and you can you don't have 160 plus Grande by one of the options that we mentioned, Kirsten is a good option to put in there as well. If you can get anything you
want, when I want to keep keep thinking GT, your next one, is another card. It's very high a hot at the
moment is the Corolla Cross or especially in a hybrid hybrid, you can get it, you can walk in and get a Core crawl across, but you won't be getting a hybrid. If you 1:04 quite pricey.
There are other options that you could potentially get.
If you really wanted a Fuel efficient, kind of you knows, smallish size SUV. There's always a bit of a hard
time, because I've always liked was like, what else could you kind of get for that money? And I was like thinking Honda
HRV, like, you can get a few of those and you probably get like a like a real if you want to go for a bit, a bit old school.
Now, I'm always the believer of if you rock a really old school.
Car that you don't see many of anymore, but it's mint, like, that's more ball than driving a new car like that.
That's just, that's just absolutely absolutely the ball.
I like, There's a, there's a, there's a, there's a few people, I get around in, like, these olds, turbo sobs, and like, they just blacked out with with the other, try spoke wheels.
And I'm like, that is so cool. And if one full full full
registration, they're in they're in my in the area where I live now and I'm like, damn, like they're you know, that they know what they've got like, they're, you know, and they're rocking and then they're completely happy to.
What would you buy into? Because it obviously there's a
big one and a crawl across. What would you buy instead
gentleman? What are they worth?
How much are they you? How much?
Is a girl looks crawl. Across will tell you exactly how
much they are. So you've got your this three
ranges from your, top Atmos is top-of-the-range at most 4 it will equal to e for its sixty. Nine thousand dollars.
Jeez, why the hell I'm sitting down?
Now I it's in considering Corollas.
A supposed to be a cheap car. Like that's just that's
bullshit. Mady ready, you know?
Now, that your boy here has something against high-end.
I, I know with an Edition cars. Like the Mercedes dealership,
that these days, install, a pigment sensor and their door handles, where the door handles, don't pop out on the Mercedes eqe. It and the, in addition vehicles
have similar features, but generally it's the dealership staff Kona and Premium thoughts, a 56,000 drive away.
You that's the top of the range 2 liter turbo. 8-speed a
heads-up display. You name it.
It's guarded. And yeah, 56,000 for Corona and
premium well. So I mean that is that is all,
you know, hot car. You can do it's a performance
current and you get a truck warranty and everything and it's virtually the same size of the crawl across.
Now I was driving this to a crawl across the other day and they are not that big Big and they wanted me of like, kind of in size, so, yeah, I think it's costing a cutter and you'd get a lot more, you get a lot more fun out of it.
I think you can still get some that are available through a few dealerships. If you have a look around, but I
think it kind of rain would be much more fun as a as a daily alternative. All right.
Oh yeah. Go is potentially the same car
underneath, Alexis ux? Yeah, I'm just looking now at
Lexus, ux keeps up at like, 40 Grand and then look right and I is that is that actually a Corolla underneath like it's probably a, it might be the same car.
I drove the ux305 laid 2021. When it came out, it was the
same sort of size. It looks so nice.
What about the like a Lexus? NX.
Yeah. Yeah.
Is it an X? Because the next one is based on
the Ralph and it's a little bit small.
I think than the rare of I think.
Yeah. And if they started sudden
started 29. Okay.
Oh that's right. Yeah.
And they're quite a nice kind that and you're getting that Toyota reliability being Alexis and I think I think that it I think that's that's a great options.
I would definitely get that. I mean you know saving 40 Grand
It's crazy. You buy two of them you could
buy one and you'd buy one for a swirl, like a parts.
Copy. I mean, you never need it but
yeah, it'll be. Yeah, we there that.
I just couldn't believe how expensive and I'm shocked.
Yeah. I feel like the Audi Q3 for that
much these days. Yeah, you could.
Yeah, I mean, you wouldn't want it after 3 years but you, you could, you definitely definitely good.
I mean, even more if you could go even, even cheaper than that, Like there's there's like that. Maybe you can get like a like a
sport. Are do something for like a lot
cheaper money. Like I like a previous gen
Sportage, which is, which is not a bad not about thing and you can even add he's yeah. And they're very fuel efficient,
so I just, I just cannot justify that.
I mean, how much was your, how much was your mom's Yaris cross when they bought that? That was 38 Grand.
And I think now that it's gone up, I think I think that have been the fault. He's now to get that yours is a
top-of-the-range, right? So like the top of the range of,
and the only thing we didn't get was the all-wheel drive, which was another three grand on top. I think the sticker price on?
That was like, 40, one issue or something.
When we got it. What do you want to 42 as the
retail on row? But because I had a connection
to Toreador, I got a little bit of a deal on it, but yeah, I think that's because a friend of mine recently ordered one and He said he got up and the GX hybrid was 38, you know, we've got the urban hybrid studio. So I think they have gone crept
up yet. Yeah, I was chatting to another
friend's tonight. I'm actually going to go look at
it on Saturday. He said, what do you think of
this Ed? And it just ties in to the
conversation. We're having about what you can
get for what money, you know. It's a BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe a
so it's the Ford or six. It's a lot of Juicy options on
it. A cockpit that looks like an
aircraft. You know, they're beautiful car
in a diesel and And I think 64 Grand you know like you could talk about that crawl across the 69 and you sort of go.
Okay yep. And then you look at this in
gap. Well that's a lot of.
Yeah, it's a pretty exotic looking thing inside and out for the same money just with, you know, PK's on it and a few years under its belt. I just, I just can't justify the
water controller with anything over 50 thousand dollars like for me just don't know. It just doesn't compute like I,
yeah, I know. Yeah, I know.
Yeah. Is 60s.
I get that. It's a performance car.
I understand. Okay.
Even then it's still yet righty but my god look for the same money. Can buy a crawl across like it's
just it just it just boggles the mind like how much their how much that car. Yeah.
This is funny when you think that it's would be plenty of people going on. Cheok role account yard.
What a shipping price for a crawler yet.
They can't get enough crawl across has in its seventy thousand dollars. That's still those cheated.
Yeah. Yeah if you want to buy a by
Toyota, he's a, he's a, he's a cattle, top tip.
Buying a couple year old Lexus and you still giggling.
Yeah. Yeah, yeah.
Yeah, it's funny. When you guys have to admit
though, the pricing pricing difference is one of the The little kind of spoiler alert and tonight's video but we put a G 63, which you can't buy at the moment.
So they are asking, I think cheap ones at 350 thousand dollars but there are plenty of a half a million dollars online and God and the one we put up against it was a why 62 Patrol which seems like a whole different kettle of fish.
Both VA both great to drive on road.
Both go off road, but when you think you're saving yourself like it, Least 300,000 alive, isn't it?
Is it G63 really worth 300 Grand more than the petroleum Patrol with a supercharger kit? And some black it out.
Looks like it's ready for a zombie apocalypse.
Tough scene. I just can't see you.
I can't see. I didn't die and raise with
300,000 dollars many and the reality is, it's not, you know, it's yeah, just this perception and it starts to get very hard to justify when you Get to that level you know, 300 Grand, he's not 30 grand. You know this is serious Life
Choices that affect your life in a big way.
If you're dumping money. There be yeah, I was, I was
panicking buying my Fiesta. I was, I felt sick paying
putting all relative man, I felt sick but I'm a bloody Moke for a lot more than a mug should be worth.
We've all done it to a degree, but yeah.
We might actually cover a our psst at the end of the nice video may have started. No I don't want to be the bearer
of bad news but yeah. Yeah I love I adore that car
that you can buy to sweep Sports in the same amount of money.
Okay. Now I could practice with, I
like a sport to and I looking back I probably should have bought a super sport but I'm never going to buy sweet.
Well, thank you very much into it and I've loved every single time I've driven we're not going to buy it over the for what your your your small forward high-performance man.
I do like a hot hot hot small forward, I'm not gonna lie, I'm a bit partial. But I also love an I-20 in but
then when they said the waiting list that was ridiculous.
I didn't bother. Yeah.
And plus obviously old mattresses experience of being a Brahmin and how you know it's the story 300 plus Grand on a G-Wagon. It's just, it's just Oh God,
that spent 250 Grand on a Range Rover, though.
There wasn't even an autobiography, that was an except up but a black on black bow and arrow.
When you want to be with some of the storyboard and stuff and not beautiful car, like a really nice car.
Like they they look good. I would want to own one but they
look good and he's like it's a statement car you know to black on black foam. That's what you buy and I'm like
like man could have bought anything else for that.
Like that's a lot of money an apartment instead.
Five men. Well then you start talking
again, you know, the Rolls-Royce Cullen and all the Bentley Ben Taylor, you know? And you're talking five, six,
seven, eight nine a mill. You know for these things.
Yeah. And you just like, all right so
I could buy an X5 what 100 and so you get a really nice 65 and it was 180 or so yeah Red's massive difference between 1 million and 900 like seriously yeah everyone will buy your territory back. In the day, back in 2006, we
will double double shopping for a car and he was like, I could buy this, buy that we have gone for the territory because one we got a discount through forward. But to it did everything a drove
better than all of the other, like a drug better than a clue gaudreau better than a, Prado drove better than all of those.
Like I was actually not the drive and he's like, he's like, he's like, why would I spend all this extra money on a typewriter or because it is always obsessed with Land, Cruiser model manner or or more Mercedes and he's, and even with the territory, Is the best care about let's just just works so you know yeah you just he's been set of spending your close to 100 granny spent 50 you know. Like yeah that's says we need to
know is your us on a you got to go my friend we've got to do but thanks for having me on gents, lots of interesting topics.
And I think my final thoughts would be if you buy a Toyota.
What is it is a DRS cross? We said or the Corolla just to
your current across across the only person that would be saying Oh What a Feeling is going to be your bank manager or the dealer won't be you. So on that, note by yourself a
Lexus NX. Yeah, thanks again for having me
on. Thanks to hearing any last
words. Before we move on to the car
keys and finish the show and he's clean quiz time, I think it's beautiful. Because the quiz.
Yeah. All right gentlemen, you know,
the rules 10 questions plus a couple of bonus questions thrown in there, for some good, some good measure, let's crack on while you're doing that. I'm I'm coming down for the
Grand Prix. Go first I'll sic.
Well do lots of it? No yeah I'm coming down so
flying and seeing the calendar now flying in.
On the first, the afternoon of the first I'm going to Gig in New Zealand days before. Obviously the For the second and
we're driving back on the Monday.
But yeah, I'll reach out and see where you guys are at.
And I'm centering go to coffee, to get a coffee or something.
However, some and let's say that I've got some, let me see.
Yeah, and we are planning on doing a like actually coming down for a few days to shoot a bunch of stuff as well.
We're getting so many offers down there for cars.
So we do need to make a special trip so that all they'll be happening. Probably in a second quarter,
sounds good, man. Is it just Maddie emailing you
saying travel? Yes.
Take the Mike. All right, I'll be emailing you
guys. I'll be asking can I drive the
SDK please? I need to hear you need old cars
a need because it had done some work.
I know but I I loved my EST and I still regret selling it and I was I would have the new one in a heartbeat.
You can you can borrow mine, you can take the typhoon, you can drive that you can you can. I've got what?
What are the old cars? We go, we've got some good, some
old Mercedes, that you can drive some old lasers.
W, so Grady, you're little, you know, be cool.
Actually. Yay, your we might actually with
this. Yeah, yeah.
That'd be awesome in my actually.
Yeah, you know what, let's all talk was a lots of lights and stuff up there to be awesome. Absolutely, let's make that
happen, then that'll be sick. Sgt car quiz time, you know the
rules, buzzing with your name. Question, one, what big
Automotive country? That produces cars has just
agreed to join in on the band of internal combustion engines in the year 2035? Hmm Adam.

update pictures and we can then we can just like we can just like, yeah, we're we're we're playing with plenty of doing a little bit of a build on it. And we're actually also
sponsoring a car in the shitbox rally, which goes from Newcastle to Townsville via battuta. And yeah, we've got a red, a
Camry for the guys that are competing in that, and then it's going to have a lift kit and all terrain is a roof Garden or that's. Yeah, that's sick, dude.
I love you Hawaii for that because you were standing front of the gdr. Yeah.
It was a fluke that I went to get the car up.
This is from the corner here. When you pick the car up and
walked out and we this is this is an opportunity I've got to do this. Video is great.
Yeah, reminded me of this guy that was like, he's like I saved up all my money and I've worked really hard for it, and he's recording a knees in front of him as arathi, and it just pains to an a, you Falcon. He's like, I got there, you
Falcon? Yeah.
What questions will talk about the talk about the shoebox rally. Before you go Adam will get

Yeah, I'm racking my brain. You guys will kick yourself as
soon as I say the name, you'd be like, oh yeah, Adam correct.
Yeah, it is for shit. I'll give you the point out of
its Ford. Ford has been in ownership of
like, you know, that company since since its Inception, which is quite rare question for which car.
Company gave savings bonds to children who were born in their cars. So this car company gave savings
bonds to the kids that were actually born not conceived because that would be a, that would be a different cards job at the proof as well. It's a true fact I did please
John it, they actually do only I'm it's got it.
It's got to be an American company.
I'm going to go kreisler incorrect in Ted Buick, your week is incorrect. Scott is a valiant aliens
incorrect. It's a Volkswagen was working.
Bonus question in what cop in particular did they have to be born in for them to get a savings bond?
Ed got in their job. They do beetle is absolutely
correct. Well done, I think they'd go
bankrupt, if, if they were doing for concern conceiving because all the combi van owners would have would have cleaned them out. It's another story.
Question 5 be 62 song Love Shack mentions.
What brand of game Ed Oh, hang on now.

They produce them goods between the swing like that business.
They are arguably the coolest shrinkable mission. 7, the
infamous 200 kilowatts. Oops was an ad for what car
How many kilowatts kilowatts per se?
Does Hyundais I-20 n have Adam. 156 incorrect.
It if you want to 160 incorrect. 1:57 incorrect.
It's a it's 150 200 hospitals, using the quiz 1, that's why I tried. What?
An honor. Yes, buddy.
All right, I may have, is it? I don't know if I'd only get
technical. Do if it isn't, isn't there is
it? Is there an overboost function?
There is no whose function, I'm going with.
What, how you and I said on the internet, Double check. And my give you an extra point
as the Commodore. So which, which Holden Commodore
first received in SS trim? Level 8 and 1st SS Commodore.
I think was the Was it was it was, it was it.
This is Connor. Was it was it was it was it was
it the V are incorrect scar. VK B ches incorrect are really
okay. Okay.
It was towards the end of that first.
Kind of shapes of, they did a vhss rock.
So confident with that damage. Yeah, I was, I was with you
mate. I thought I'd became the sure it
will. I mean be careful of the pH so
you were very close. Got you a very close question?
10, the Nissen gazelle was only named the gazelle in.
How many countries? Ed one country incorrect, Adams.
Padam padam. 22 is correct and that was a very nervous too, but
that's who is curious because it's a shredder in New Zealand.
Whoa, bonus, Cuesta bonus question, what countries were four point five each. Australia is Robert.
Adam gets .54 for Australia's one Avenue New Zealand.
New Zealand is not correct. South Africa incorrect.
Okay, America incorrect. Scotty it's on you sure this
isn't leaving many options. Europe incorrect.
It was only Australian. Japan that quoted.
The gazelle ever else was called the 180 180 z x because X sorry yet. Are they called it that Japan?
That's what. Yeah.
School chick, Scotty yet? The school.
Edward on 2.5 and tonight's winner on a grand total of four
is mr. Alan Morris well done.
Oh very nice. Thank you.
Thank you. Thank you very much.
Is there? Anyone you'd like to thank, you
know, we'd like to thank you, mom, your dad.
You'd like to thank the academy with the Academy Awards.
Last night, I got into the not be nominated and also not win anything. So, I feel like this is made up
for my lack of new things already playing music.
It'd be like, keep your rabbit's name out your mouth, which will, you know, which will be. Yeah, they're talking about now.
Well done, boys, good good crazy, good work, Adam well done. On some of those tight questions
they're making it especially with the the number two for the amount of countries that called it, the gazelle, Adam, your shitbox really well before we wind up, we'll talk about that.
So, you're sponsoring a car in the shoebox.
Are you sponsoring a little? It's a second.
It's a third gen camera. Isn't it like a wide body camera
correct? Or it is right?
Yeah, 6040. I think from memory.
Yeah, the so really dear friend of mine, Kurt got in touch mainly for advice on what car to get he and his mate were there in a team called the nut truckers competing in this shitbox rally of. And I just said, what I could is
there a sponsorship opportunity here and then the more we Baltimore. We thought yet, let's just go
all in and then and we're not exactly the title sponsor for the carpet. Where one of the biggest
sponsors which is honored and all money raised is all money.
Raised goes to the cancer Council.
And yeah, the, the loose rule is that the car cannot be more than 15 hundred dollars, which in this climate is very, very hard to find something. So we've got this, this Camry
that has has mechanically, it's great in every other way.
Way, it's not fun but it's it's going to it's going to be great and the guy will get the guys across the country and it's a huge, huge event. So and we have plenty of plans
for the car after the after the event as well.
We're going to, we're going to buy it back off, cancer Council and ship or truly guys, and take it to Cars & Coffee and do more modifications to it and do some crazy stuff like this can bring yeah, sounds good. When I did it in 2014, Adam, it
was a thousand dollars was the limit, so it was a bit tight.
But in this casual probably worse now.
Like yeah. Not easy to do so.
Yeah, for some kind of trouble by trying to buy a mountain, trying to buy a mountain bike. The $1500 is a challenge, but
learning is why I car. So it's it's been a good one.
Nikki started on all the clubs to put some context.
They're doing it in luxury in a Camry ported in a first first gen. Honda City.
So, oh my God. God, not to hell.
What do you mean? We can see that everything I did
with him 8 years, I said in 2014.
But that year Adam to Rally went from Perth to Darwin, which was the longest one they'd ever done, it was 4200 amazing from Perth to down. We did the Gibb River Road and,
you know, whatever, but you had to get to Perth for the start and I said, well, never during the nullarbor, so I'll do it in a now. Do you still talk?
This is the other part. He's got two little kids or at
that stage, they'll really little.
And so he said, look, I just can't coordinate that and do that drive as well. All flying to Perth.
So I drive with my partner at the time and we did an album in four days which you really shouldn't do.
You should do it in five because it's a, if you do it in five, it's a solid 700 Kaz. Sure day.
We're doing it in. For there was a third day for
us. That was the bulk of the
Nullable, which was 1,200 cases in a day.
I got in when it was dark and but to its credit, the little city was like a sewing machine, it was brilliant.
So I did in that car in 10 days, a total of 8000 119 km in 10 died. Anyway, we rolled into Darwin at
the end of it and And else along the way was, you know, they have what's called triage on those shitbox rallies.
Where you, you know, the cars gets hit a parked up and you ride on the windscreen. What's wrong with it and the
team of mechanics? And Fix-It guy who come around
and just you know, start digging into it and the city would just pop the Bonnet. Check the oil.
Yep. Check the water.
Yep. Perfect.
Shut it, they're worried about, it's amazing.
We just fell right here and everyone else was pulling out drive, shafts and tires. And you name it.
So a great. So I can recommend that if the
camera doesn't work out. Honda City, fantastic.
Yeah, that's when we knew we were nearly going to go with the Yaris. We nearly had a handsome, the
Yaris that would have been great and then, yeah, I yeah.
And it was, obviously, we're videoing at making content around that around the whole thing.
So, seeing these two guys locked in a Yaris together for that long, I thought would make some fantastic doing but the camera, the camera is going to be great. They're going to love the Camry.
Absolutely. I did laughs on our trip where
we're at the Pentecost River up in the Northern Territory where might be the topper wi. Can't remember exactly.
But yeah, basically. It's a river crossing that's
quite wide, and quite famous and if you Google it, you recognize the image. And so, 250 shitbox rally cars
had to cross this. You know, it wasn't crazy deep
water, but it was deep enough and some people flying in and, you know, just going in a high-speed and sucking water in and killing the car. And then it's got to get towed
to the end and we just put a little top on the front and pop-up book. I drove it through that, but
there was a Prado and 150,000 dollar Caravan off-road the coming the other way and I said to my friend mate, you know that That is probably 90k. And the Vans 150 is probably two
hundred eighty Grand with a stuff there.
And I'm like, we paid about $200 for our city, we paid it going going all the same places which I loved so great, so great.
That's awesome man. Yeah, and so you end up selling
your out there but you you love you fell in love with that guy.
You went and bought one when you came back it was it was a car that I knew of but I've never owned and I had a soft spot for old Honda's, but I've never owned a city, but After that trip, I was just like absolute respect for the design of that car. And what it what it, what it
accomplished. And so I said to my my friend
roll on, you do with me, you know, if there's if ever a cracking City comes up on very tempted and sure enough, four years later, it did, and I just was like hell, I'll have that in the collection. So I now have the one owner and
one owner original weighty for Civic with all the trinkets on it. So so great, it's back to so
great. So if anyone wants to wants to
help sponsor that, That particular shoebox rally car.
Where would they find it? Easiest place is drop on
Instagram and search nut truckers and and all the links are there or even just Googling not truckers shitbox.
Shelley there should be a link should come straight up but it doing Instagram and yeah, the more money we can raise the better. We actually, the guys we had, we
had a Target figure and we've already surpassed that.
And the guys going to be running events citizens.
There's a bunch of gigs here in Newcastle that are happening and Yeah, plenty plenty more to come.
So the fact that we've already surpassed the goal figures.
Great. But, you know, obviously the
more we can raise the better. Absolutely.
I've just found him online. Giving them just gave them a
like and yeah. Well probably jealous sometimes.
Yeah. Honestly, any, any any amount of
money? They make a couple of bucks that
your anything. This is really everything is

Stop comparing yourself to others all the time.
Mmm, rest, you, what you can do because most of the time, if someone is better than you, they probably put in a hell of a lot more practice. You don't know what they've done
behind the scenes to get to where they are.
So, stop comparing yourself to others.
Thanks Tony. The podcast could be thankful,
it's gonna get some kleenex and cry myself to sleep telling that to my grade 12, ha ha ha. But I thought, you know, I'm
