Hey guys, you ready to let the dogs out?
All right, dude, seriously, can y'all get it together so we can talk about this little
show y'all got going on or whatever this is?
Oh my God.
It doesn't happen yet.
Yeah.
Yeah, that's true.
I guess so.
Don't turn those things on.
Dude, it makes me feel a little better.
I'm actually going to turn some music on.
So I don't have to hear y'all shit all night.
Tell me what you're listening to so I can talk shit on it.
No, because I'm in a weird vibe right now.
Yeah.
How was your start of high rap?
What was your rap up age?
26.
What?
Shut the fuck up.
No way.
Why is that bad?
What are you listening to?
Yeah.
What are you, hanging out at college bars?
What's wrong with you?
First off, I don't even know how to approach this response.
I thought the idea was to be younger.
What are you just listening to old people shit and you're like, oh yeah, I'm like
60 years old.
That's my age.
Oh dude, I got so much worse.
Mine was 83.
I don't listen to Christmas music.
You listen to Elvis music?
No, I listen to Christmas music.
He knew a Christmas song.
I've never heard it ever in my life.
Christmas is big on the East Coast.
Yeah.
I love Christmas.
I do love Christmas.
It's like Christmas hall year.
Yeah.
Everyone's putting on that winter weight all year.
Oh goodness.
Right now, I have a very big collection of music.
Not to flex or anything, but it's just like, it's not shit.
He's just so much more musically.
He's an artist.
He's an artist.
He's an artist.
It's not even, I'm not saying, I think it's good.
I like it.
It's vibes.
It sounds, it's good, but I don't, I don't, it's not something I want to go scream from
the rooftops.
This is what I like.
Yeah.
So you're a little, so you're a little ashamed of it too.
No, I just don't want to explain it.
Okay.
What were you doing when you were 26?
What were you listening to when you were 26?
Yeah.
That's a good question.
What were you listening to?
Like raising the machine, tool, depth tones.
Okay.
A lot of it, like that, that weird period between new metal and grunge.
Child of divorce.
Yeah.
Yeah, those two.
Come on, dude, are you reading me right now?
I mean, we're, we're, we're sitting at a comfortable lounge.
Yeah, don't.
We're just friends here.
But you know, what's funny is like, that's what you listen to when you were 26.
And what you're listening to now is nothing like that.
No, I was 15 when I came out.
So was he.
Yeah.
Um, but if you were to listen to those right now, and it was, you know, the
majority on your Spotify, what do you think you would get?
Yeah.
35 ish.
Cause if you think a lot of the music I'm listening to right now is kind of was,
was pretty popular from like 08 to now.
And it's more like indie kind of.
That's been lately.
I've been like pulling back like all of those bands that I ignored cause I didn't
like everyone that listened to it then.
Yeah.
I started listening to radios.
Like I've been listening to a bunch of girl singers with my daughter.
Oh yeah.
I love it.
So I put on the yeah, yeah, yeah radio.
And I've been listening to like MGMT and metric and all this stuff.
And I was like, it's just pretty fun.
Yeah.
When that, when you, when you're scrolling down Instagram and,
and somebody's real just says that.
You're like, oh shit.
It's like, it's like I'm happy when I hear this stuff.
I'm still not happy, but in that moment it feels good.
But I also have seen his music tendencies,
but I tell people that all the time, like,
like I listen to heavy shit and stuff,
but I only listen to it like in the gym, you know,
like when I'm at home, like if I put that on,
I'm like a fucking nervous wrap.
That's cause you don't drive through Austin traffic.
Yeah.
And see, I couldn't do that while I was driving either because I would
just lose my mind.
I would just get so angry from it.
I went on like a super strong female banger's kick.
So I can show you.
I got a lot of, right now I have a lot of chicks that I,
a lot of FEMA, like my top however many it was on Spotify was
like four chicks.
I'm just trying to show my daughter cool music.
So as she gets older,
that's not Taylor Swift.
That's not Taylor Swift.
Like girl singers that are actually
has a child molesting song.
Hell is for children.
Not really.
See, now you know.
Now you know.
Whatever he just said, the algorithm is going to pick it up.
And now this is going to be suppressed.
It's going to be a shadow band or whatever they say they do.
I also listened to like Mari Robbins,
like gun, gunfighter ballads album,
like exclusively for a month.
So my Spotify age was 83.
It was ridiculous.
I almost fell out of my chair when I saw that.
Yeah.
It was like, what the fuck?
You had your life alert.
Yeah, it was ridiculous.
Yeah.
Reached for my bed of Uso and my Lipitor.
God.
Yeah.
What was your age?
68.
68.
But that's only because I listened to Fleetwood Mac
for like a month with my daughter.
Fleetwood Mac's good.
Yeah.
Also, that is something I've always listened to.
So that's like the ultimate highway song is.
Yeah, man.
Ballads.
Well, this might be weird.
I don't know.
But like when people come to the house
and we're kicked like,
kicked into the living room,
drinking, whatever.
I like putting on like just music that's kind of a vibe.
Yeah.
And a lot of times people are like,
man, what is this stuff we're listening to?
It's like it fits the vibe.
Yeah.
And I'm like, man, this, this isn't this, you know.
So I like good vibing style music.
Highway tunes.
Yeah.
But.
Cinecar, chill.
So are we all chopper dudes now?
Are we still waiting?
He'll be a chopper dude eventually.
Yeah.
I'm going to chop the T-Sport.
Yeah.
Oh, god.
Concord grape choppers.
Yeah.
Pretty much.
Welch is only.
That's what it'll call.
Welch is only.
I'll do an anniversary edition chopper.
Dude, I kind of wouldn't mind doing a dyna.
Like I did my FXR, the gold one.
Did you see the.
There's been a lot of cool ones.
I mean, all those Midwest dudes.
Did you see the one coming out of the East Coast?
Mike.
It was built in New York by.
At foot?
By, no, not by at foot.
He was here last week.
Yard, yet no one cares.
By yard.
Did you see like yard rats or something?
Yeah.
They are.
Mike or Matt Paris built it,
but it was built for a guy out of Detroit.
Like an early model.
I think it was an 04 or an 05 dyna.
Yeah.
That's what I would do.
I would chop an old school one.
Yep.
But they left like the original tank.
No, it was cool.
It was cool because it looked just like a dyna.
D-rate.
Yeah, but that's not cool.
Well, I think nobody listens to either of you people.
So don't worry.
People listen to him a lot more than you.
That's his.
Yeah, that might be true.
Whatever.
It's.
I think that a D-rate or not even there has to be D-rate,
but a dyna, you can get them so cheap right now.
Yeah.
Since you're chopping it up, it doesn't matter if it's a low rider
or a D-X or anything like that.
Yeah.
But I would prefer 04 down that way.
It's carburetor.
03 down is carbureted.
Yep.
It's just easier plug and play.
Yeah.
You put a Makuni on one.
It just feels fast English.
So good.
Yes.
That's what I think my problem is on my chopper.
Like I need a Makuni on it because that's an S.
Oh.
Just sucks, man.
I mean, SNS makes a lot of great parts,
but like chopper wise.
If I wasn't going to run a Makuni, I would just run
an old school Keen because like a Keen CV carb
because they'll start every single time.
Like they always work.
So the problem with the Makuni is that because you're not
sandwiching it in with an air cleaner to the motor,
there's really no way to like hold it into the manifold.
And I'm sure that somebody has seen some shovels
with the carburetor on it.
I just haven't done any research yet.
But I kind of prefer that instead of that way you have
an actual choke instead of an enriching.
Or richer or whatever the hell it's called.
So I really wanted to write it down here.
It didn't work out.
I still am learning a lot of stuff about this bike
so that I can hopefully push it, you know, to one ocean next year.
Yeah.
To one.
One.
What?
Only going one.
I don't blame you.
You should do the triple crown on it.
That'd be awesome to follow all the FXR guys.
They'd be so upset.
Wouldn't they probably think it was cool?
I've only been to one FXR jam ever.
It was the East Coast one.
They were not happy in that place.
No, I doubt they care.
They just probably want cool people there.
Yeah.
They're not as Nazi-like.
That'll probably get us demonetized.
Yeah.
There we go.
They're not as nationalists.
That might be worse.
Oh man.
We're really starting off with a bag.
What's the plan this year?
Y'all going to finally fix this show?
Oh shut up.
Like you haven't had a good time every time you've been here.
Dude, I got so fucked up at this last year.
Yeah.
Yeah, we probably talked then when we did talk.
You were just so chill.
And I was like, damn, is he high?
I was like, is he high?
I was bouncing.
I would like, I would get up on an espresso martini
and then I would bounce that with beer.
Yep.
And then so it was like.
You just stayed in that like 80% zone.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And then we went out after the show.
So we went back to the hotel and Duane, my wife.
We all went to the barbecue spot in downtown that my buddy.
Coopers?
Coopers or Salt Lake?
No, no.
It's like a Lambert's.
Oh yeah.
Lambert's rule.
It was fucking delicious.
A lot of artists from White Horse have residencies there as well.
For real.
Yeah.
Richard Fell was the one that put me on to that place.
Oh yeah.
He runs all that stuff.
That dude's really cool.
Yeah.
All right.
So what does this look like?
It's going to be different.
What are we doing different guys?
Talking about it.
Back it up.
Back it up.
CJ.
Back it up.
That's Chopper Jase for everyone that doesn't know.
CJ.
CJ.
So.
You know,
CJ.
Texas Hills has kind of gone through a couple of different transitions on, you know, like
what the main focal point of the show was, but it always centered around riding.
So.
None of that has changed.
So last year we did a two day event where we had a full ride day.
At Lindahl Breaks Compound and we let Gotti rides out there and we had food and music and
I think people were bench pressing too.
I might have held the record.
I don't know.
But you did not.
I actually did hold the record for the most 135 reps.
33 reps in a row.
Jake didn't.
Who else tried it?
Jake didn't do that.
We didn't let him do it.
He's too big.
Jake's too big to do the 135 challenge.
You're too strong.
Well, he reps like 425.
Hey, you're too big.
Hey, you're too big.
Michael Jordan to play basketball.
Yeah.
Exactly.
No.
But he would still play.
No, dude.
No, they would say no, dude.
You're not playing.
They would bow.
They would bow and then they would say like, we can't play with you because you're too
good.
That happened at the end of the space jam.
And then he gave them their powers back.
That's what would happen.
Right after he sent to the world.
Yeah.
That might actually raise the algorithm back up.
I kind of felt like this is how this podcast was going to go.
I'm loving it though.
Yeah.
Okay.
So back to business.
So last year we did a two day event.
The day one was all the riding at Lindahl.
We had three riding guide or three guided rides.
We had food.
We had beer.
All for free and stuff.
And then day two was at Radio East.
Shut up.
Shut up.
I'm trying to be professional for a second.
And then we did at Radio East, which is a new venue to us.
Yeah.
That was super, super well received.
So the radio conglomerate has a couple different locations in downtown and
east and a south and stuff.
And so we did at the east.
They have like resident food trucks are always there.
They have a full coffee bar.
They have a full wet bar.
They have sunshades.
So people aren't dying the whole time.
They have their music stage.
And so we had, that was our main event aspect of it.
And so over 2026, we brought on a new partner, Teddy Morris Cowboy,
Harley-Davidson of Boston.
Yeah.
They're working with us in a big way.
They're doing Boy Billy.
Bad Boy Bill.
You've talked to Bad Boy Bill, right?
Yeah.
If you were listening to this podcast and you, the podcast before us,
we were in Billy.
Yeah.
So his name is actually Billy, but we call him Bad Boy Bill.
Okay.
So feel free to call him Bad Boy Bill.
His parents didn't name him Bad Boy Bill?
No.
You don't think they'd pick up on that?
You think these fans are idiots?
I'm just making sure.
Wait, did he give himself that name?
No, we didn't.
And we didn't tell him that we were giving him the name.
We just started calling him.
He's actually cool.
He wore the douchebags.
I think people make names.
There's another guy here, Brandon.
It looks like he would be like a doctor in a daytime soap opera.
Yeah.
So we call him Dr. Brandon now.
Yeah.
He doesn't know yet.
He's a good looking dude.
I called him Dr. Brandon today.
He just didn't pick up on it.
Yeah.
I'm like his best friend now.
Oh.
So this year...
He sold me a bike.
Yeah.
Well, that too.
Brothers for life.
So this year Cowboy Harley is on in a big way.
We're going to be doing more activations with them,
and they're also supporting us,
enabling us to be able to do more with the show.
So that was a really big deal.
It just made sense to take it to the next level
to be able to offer more at the show
to partner with a dealer.
And we wanted to partner with someone cool.
Yeah.
So this happened to work out.
There's a lot of great people here.
Me and Mikey have been in and out of this dealership for years.
So it just felt like home.
Made sense.
So along with their help and participation,
it's going to be a three day show for 2026.
So it'll be May 15th through the 17th.
15th will be the Cowboy party.
So bike night, soiree, like, you know,
some extra fun stuff that we're not putting out yet.
Saturday will be the legacy Lindahl event.
So we'll do it there.
We'll have music.
Free food, free beer, free water,
and guided rides from sponsors and special guests
are coming from out of town.
They'll be guiding rides to the Hill Country for everyone.
And then Sunday will be Radio East again.
We're super fortunate that, you know,
the organizers and management at Radio East
really enjoyed the event
because we really enjoyed having it there.
It was a great place.
And now that we've kind of like
bounced it to a couple locations,
you really get to see all that this area has to offer.
It's not just like in the city of Austin.
It's not just in the Hill Country.
There's tons of bars that people come here
just to go and hang out at
and have parties and stuff and vacation.
So you get the dealership stuff
where you get to see the new bikes
and demo ride them and all that stuff.
And they'll have deals going on
for the whole event weekend.
And then you get to go out into the Hill Country.
Lindahl is right off Ranch Road 12,
right where the devil's backbone starts.
So you're in the Hill Country all day
seeing all those cool places.
Mikey and Dustin know every spot to go there.
So it's always a good time.
And then you get to go back to the city on Sunday,
hang out at a really cool place
that isn't like traditional city vibes, right?
It's still like very much so like a Texas place
when you think about it.
Yeah, it's on the Oscar to the city too.
So it's like, not like you have to go through downtown.
You bypass the city.
Exactly.
But as soon as events done,
when it's getting dark,
you could go straight into the city
and it's three miles away from downtown.
Do your microphone like on the other way.
Yeah, because otherwise it'll muffle it.
Yeah.
So yeah.
So cowboy.
Strike one.
Strike one.
Two more.
You're out.
So with the partner.
When I see him, I just want to talk shit.
I don't know why it is.
I know you talk shit.
No, it's because you're a basketball guy.
So with the partnership with Cowboy Harley-Davidson,
we're also doing a bike build with them.
Oh, okay.
Yeah.
So Project Texas Wizard,
like he doesn't like the name,
but I already put it on paper.
It's because I had a bike called the Wizard already.
It's a Concord Grip G-Sport.
It's purple.
It's a wizard.
It doesn't matter.
I named it.
It's on the paper.
So what's the,
what is the goal, premise and direction of this build?
So Mikey just wanted a low rider ST.
So we decided we were going to incorporate it
into the show anyway,
but we're working with all of our main,
main partners and sponsors for it.
So original garage motos outfitting it with
bars, risers, a top tree,
all their covers and stuff,
all matching and chrome crash bars.
Lindahl brakes is doing wheels and rotors on it.
Custom dynamics and saddleman are putting their lights
and their seat touches on it and stuff like that.
And it's going to be an interactive build
the whole way through.
So if you're seeing this,
you've seen this after the end of year party
when we released that we're doing it.
And it's going to be a floor build the whole time.
So in conjunction with the dealership,
the dealership is doing all the installs on it.
They'll be building it on the floor,
live during events.
And you'll have your product specialist there
to talk about everything.
And every night that they do that,
they're going to do additional promotional prices
on those products.
Right?
So if you're in the market for getting a little more price.
That gives people like an incentive to come here
during these build.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And you know, believe it or not,
a lot of this was the dealer's idea.
You know, like we came to them and said
we wanted to do a bike.
And they said like let's,
you know, like let's make this as
advantageous for people as possible.
Like how can we use this to give back to them?
Right.
So the floor build, you know,
learn more about the parts,
learn them,
see them going on and stuff like that.
Right?
And we'll build a community.
Yeah.
And you know,
and then offer them those special discounts
for coming in during that and stuff like that.
So it's a lot of cool parts to it.
So the bike will be done right before
the Texas Hills event,
probably early May.
And then the first ride will be let out
with that bike in front for it.
So if you can imagine.
We just swatched.
Yeah.
Brand new tires.
Brand new wheels.
No, no, no, no.
It's gonna be fun.
The check-in lights on.
Yeah.
No, it'll be perfect.
It will.
I have a lot of faith in a lot of the guys here.
You know Stan, right?
You've met Stan before.
Yeah, Stan's been here for 20 years.
Yeah.
Yeah, Stan came with the building actually.
He's a part of the lease.
So he's a permanent fixture to this bike.
We do need to show you the old cowboy logo.
Oh, yeah.
It's downstairs.
You'll have to put a picture of it.
I'll also tell you the story
how cowboy became cowboy based off their name.
It's a good story.
You can't tell it on here.
Yeah.
Okay.
Tune in later on that more.
So yeah, so we're really excited about it.
You know, there's, there's plenty of events throughout the year.
You know, if you open up a year calendar and say,
I want to do motorcycle things, there's tons of things to go to.
No matter like what corner of the country that you live in.
But a lot of them that, you know, a lot,
I think the performance oriented and,
and like rider focused like motorcyclists have been going to
are not necessarily riding focused and performance based
type of events.
Right.
Like everyone goes to Daytona except Jase.
Jase doesn't go to Daytona,
but everyone goes there.
I've never been here.
Okay.
So I go to Daytona.
I would like to fly me out.
Yeah.
Put me up and, you know, I will, you know,
I'll go with you.
Yeah.
I'll put that on the way.
But there's no riding to be done out there.
Right.
Like, and there's lots of events that people go to
because all their friends are going
and there's something to see.
There's not really riding, you know,
focused on it.
So that's really what we're focused on here.
Even on Friday.
We'll probably do a meet up somewhere else to have
everyone riding the cowboy together.
And we'll take it off that whole week and I'll be
riding showing people around the whole week.
Yeah.
So if someone's coming to town,
they want to go ride,
I'll have rides playing the whole week.
Well, I think this cool.
Y'all did it last year.
And you kind of always done this,
but like you do like these lead up rides that
you put on to where people, you know,
all over Texas will come out for a day to do something.
I probably said this last time we talked about it,
but I think that it would be so sick if you did those,
but they were like overnight stays places.
Yeah.
Like a ride to go to Dallas to go to a bike night.
Yeah.
It'll be hard to get people to want to cruise down
35 for three hours, but it'll probably be core.
Do you know what I mean?
Like if you were going to do it,
like say if you did a Saturday ride,
I know that you kind of do the bar thing.
Yeah.
But when it's slow, like this winter, I can't.
Yeah.
So if you did a ride, like say, hey,
we're going to, I don't know,
fucking said place, said town,
we're going to Marvel Falls,
but we're all staying at the Hampton Inn
or the Hall of the Inn.
Yeah.
And it creates this different experience
and communal vibe that goes on because of
you do the riding during the day,
but then there's the socializing
and whatever you do at night.
You know what I'm saying?
Well, it's also just,
when you make people do stuff together,
they become better friends
because they all go through an experience together.
Every time they see each other,
they can talk about it,
talk about memories.
It's cool.
Yeah.
We could go to the Riverside H-E-B,
or not Riverside H-E-B, Riverside Chili's.
Oh.
The best chili's in America.
Yeah.
I've had a lot into this one.
It's on the road.
It's a legit Chili's dog.
Yeah.
I've ate there.
I kind of don't pass it without eating there.
It's on the bridge.
Even you just stop for a quick trip dip,
right?
Going there and get a dollar and a quick trip.
A trip dip?
A trip dip.
I just never know
if I want to eat your putlay chicken
or the Cajun chicken pasta.
I got that yesterday.
Yeah.
I was always torn between those two.
I did, dude.
It was good.
It was good.
I had a 10 ounce.
10 ounce of airline.
Yeah.
Definitely put A-1 sauce on that.
No.
I didn't put a condiment.
Yeah.
Well, well.
Raw steak is this thing.
That's why people used to give me shit
about putting A-1 sauce on it.
Yeah.
Have you even moved away from it yet?
Have you even moved away from it?
When you go to a nice restaurant
that actually puts together a nice,
you know, chef style steak,
they usually have some kind of flavor,
but Joe Blow,
when his fucking charcoal grill
and salt and pepper in the back
can suck my butthole, dude.
That shit is not good.
I'm not going to say dick,
but I'll say butthole.
It's just not like, calm down, dude.
Your meat's not that delicious,
you know what I'm saying?
Yeah.
For the price point,
it's pretty good.
Never really had any complaints
about why I eat though,
so no A-1 sauce on that.
Wait, was that sexy?
Or was that actually cooking?
He made it creepy, dude.
Yeah.
Why'd you look at me and not him
when you said it?
I looked at him first
and waited for him to get uncomfortable.
He squitted his eyes.
We're Texas Hills partners.
That's it.
And life partners.
For life.
I don't know.
I feel like there are,
I've had some steaks at places
that are just amazing,
but usually when you go to a high-end place
that does a steak,
there's some kind of something on it.
A bernet,
a sauce on it,
or a butter or something.
A butter or compound butter.
Yeah.
Just a butter.
I've only been to Chili's
in Texas Roadhouse in my life.
So I don't know
what you guys are talking about.
And I see,
and so I exclusively stay away from them
for steaks.
I don't get steaks.
And Austin here,
it's actually right across the street
from each other
in the same parking lot.
That's awesome.
Texas Roadhouse is pretty damn good.
I don't just call it Roadhouse here.
No, it's not like,
it's not like,
what is it,
Panera bread,
but when you're in Salt Lake or...
Oh, the St. Louis breakfast.
St. Louis.
Yeah.
They only call...
That blew my mind
when I was driving through St. Louis
though.
Yeah.
Do you sell bread bowls?
They ripped off Panera.
All right.
Well, I guess we should talk more
about other important things.
Like bread bowls?
My favorite burrito place.
We can think about Cabo Bobs,
actually.
This is a hot topic yesterday.
I don't know what that is.
Taco Bobs.
Oh, okay.
It's right down the road.
Taco Bobs?
No, Cabo.
Cabo Bobs?
Cabo Bobs.
We talked about it yesterday.
We did, yeah.
And Chase,
or Lee put you down for it?
Yeah.
But then he said he ate
some bad experience in that
three months ago.
I'm gonna keep it that way.
I haven't had them in years
either.
It's fine by me.
There's enough good
Mexican food joint,
like chain spots here in Texas
where I can
skip on that one.
I've also only been to
Cabo Bobs
in Taco Cabana.
So you guys need to inform
me.
You don't go to any other
Mexican food restaurants?
Never been to any of them.
So uncultured.
Not me.
Uncultured swine, dude.
Uncultured, dude.
How does this make you feel?
You need a monocle at this
point.
You're so much more cultured
than him.
Oh, wow.
Like such a nerd
buying glasses that
record people.
Do you feel important up here?
Yeah, we look down
on
all the peons.
Let's be real.
I was looking down
before that.
It's gotta suck to be at work
right now.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Everybody listening to this
is that work in some form
or fashion?
Yeah.
Trucks.
Not you guys.
You rule.
You guys are the best.
You guys are running this
country.
America runs on you.
Yeah.
I like those Canadian
fucks where they shut it
all down.
No, we love Canada.
We do.
I love Canada.
We do?
I didn't get that.
I love Canada.
Canada was great.
My girlfriend's from Canada.
For real?
Mm-hmm.
When's she going back?
As soon as I don't hurt her.
Get in there.
This is...
No, he loves you.
Don't worry about it.
No, I love you.
You're gonna hurt Trump?
Like deported any Canadians
at all or is that just
going south?
We'll have to call Daniel
and ask him.
That'd be a hard argument
for ICE.
Yeah.
That...
What are you doing?
What do you mean?
I can't stay here.
Hey, bud.
What are you talking about, bud?
Oh, jeez.
You're being pretty aggressive
here, bud.
Yeah.
That's a little Minnesota too,
though.
They blend into each other.
Yeah, they really do.
I'm also from Wisconsin.
I know some of the accents.
Yeah.

Fair enough.
So Texas Hills,
it's a great time.
Totally.
No, it really is
truly a good time
because the people that make
the effort to come out
are people that are
super, super passionate
about motorcycles.
And so that really
boosts the environment
and the experience
and stuff.
Well, this city is
a great place to be.
There's a lot to do
and sometimes having
some type of thing
to bring people to it,
it can open the door
to a lot of different things,
whether it is the food,
the venues,
music,
music,
tattoo shops,
yeah.
And so,
yeah, the restaurant
scene is crazy.
I had a good time last year,
man.
I thought it was fun
and the weather was
actually surprisingly
not bad.
Yeah, it was a real
lot on Saturday.
It was pretty.
You got here late Saturday,
right?
Yeah, because we had to do
a show in Dallas
and then we literally
packed up from that
and drove straight down
and stayed with you guys.
What show was that?
It was a nice tattoo show.
It's Elmfest.
Yeah, Elmfest or Elmfest.
Yeah, something like that.
Yeah.
It was a good time,
but it got rained out.
Yeah.
But yeah, I had fun.
I mean, it's cool
because when people come here,
they're coming here
to actually ride
the roads that we promote.
Yeah.
And usually when people
were talking to me,
it was either about bikes
or about roads,
not like where to party,
where to get party,
where we're going afterwards.
Like they actually came
there to ride.
Yeah.
And to be a part
of what I'm trying to promote
the most is getting people
actually on bikes.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Well, I mean,
Austin's had its ups
and downs, man.
Like it really has it.
I will say that
I will give Texas Hills
all the variations of the
all the people that's ever
that's been a part
of the movement.
It always has done
a really good job
of getting things going
together in Austin.
I remember
like I probably said it
before with you guys,
but like the very first
Texas Hills was like
an open door of coming
to do one of the rides
to go check out the venue.
And I got to meet
a lot of the dudes
that are kind of still
around to this day.
You know what I'm saying?
So it's just a great
opportunity.
Yeah, before I got
a part of this
and before Dustin asked me
to help me with it,
I didn't really know anyone.
Like I didn't really know
you.
I never met you before
and I didn't really
care to know anyone.
I kind of just
rode around by myself
and I had my
certain core friends.
Yeah.
Loan Wolf.
Loan Wolf.
Hell yeah, brother.
Still not very happy
that I know you, but...
Yeah.
I'm not a chill dude
to be around.
I'm really not that cool, dude.
I am not that cool
and I'm going to make fun
of you the whole time.
We actually refer to him
as Pitbull or Mad Dog Mike.
That's what people call
my dad.
Mad Dog Mike?
Yeah, because they...
why he's still alive.
Mad Dog Mike in a second.
I don't know what
people call him now,
but they call him
Mad Dog because
he used to always
drink Mad Dog.
That was the first beer
I ever had was Mad Dog.
Good choice.
What was your first beer?
Zima?
That's not it.
No, it was Zima.
I think my first beer
was a Smirnoff.
Also, yeah, not a beer,
but...
Did someone ice you?
Is that what happened?
Did someone roll it
across the floor?
No, I think
a Zima or something
opened up a box.
I think when I turned...
I didn't drink
when I was in high school.
So when I turned 21
I was like,
fuck it,
I'm going to get me
a Smirnoff
and I got like
a 40 ounce of it.
Oh, God.
And I was like,
because it's easy to drink
if you're not like
acclimated to alcohol.
40 ounces of it, though?
Well, I didn't drink it all.
That's how much it wasn't...
I just wasn't a drinker.
The first beer I ever had
where like I bought it,
drank it, liked it
was a Doseki's
and I still drink
Doseki's.
Yeah, Doseki's is great.
I used to drink M.G.D.
because it came in 40s
and it was like
$2.50 for each 40
and when I was
a high school lightweight kid
I would drink two of them,
be housed
and be like,
cool, that's all I need.
Five bucks.
Yeah.
Just for inflation,
it's like 30 bucks now.
Yeah, yeah.
Do they even have 40 ounces here?
I feel like they are.
I feel like they have.
I feel like there's like
a weird law in Texas
or Austin about
not having 40 ounces.
They got some,
like I was at the dollar store
yesterday
or the day before yesterday
and I was
because I'll go there
and buy like a bunch
of like, you know,
energy drinks and shit
because they're like way cheaper
and then stock the fridge
at the shop.
Well, they had those
fucking huge S cans
that look like 40s
of like random shit in there.
I thought about buying one
because it looked cool.
You don't see them that much.
Steel reserves.
Like some highlights.
High gravity.
High gravity.
High gravity.
You ever drink that?
Steel reserve high gravity?
The silver can?
Don't.
That's how homeless people
lose their homes.
Oh, God.
That's so bad.
What made you want to
get a low rider ST
on this run?
I wanted a bagger type bike
but I didn't want to come
into a bagger yet.
Because I have...
I'm back to three bike bike.
So, what are the bikes again?
I low rider S M8 2020.
I sold my 2017 low rider S
01 Concorde Purple T Sport.
You could have just said
01 T Sport.
Yeah.
That's a flex, dude.
Okay.
I had to.
It took me a while to find it.
It means a lot to me.
Could have just painted one.
Go ahead.
You could have painted it.
And then 2025 ST
because I wanted to build
a bagger travel type bike.
The dealership actually did something
really cool with the bike.
So, we wanted a red and chrome one
but they never made a red and chrome one.
So, Billy called in
a blue and chrome 25 ST
and a red and black 25 ST
and sold them the blue one
and then swapped all the tins.
That actually probably looks
pretty good, haven't it?
It does.
Yeah, it looks great.
Like a blue with all the
tins.
No, it's down there.
It looks awesome.
Yeah, both of them look really good.
Yeah, that's cool.
That's cool.
I didn't want the name of the bike
to be the wizard.
I wanted it to be named Three Pete
because I'm back to Three Bike Mike.
And then he sells it.
It's red and chrome.
Chocolate bowls.
Yeah, and he wants Michael Jordan.
Hair brushed on it.
That'd be sick, though.
That would be sick.
Put the Jordan picture.
That glimmery-ass head.
Yeah, the one where he's like this
with all the rings on his finger.
Oh, God.
That'd be silly.
Jordan's like my hero.
That's insane.
He is pretty cool.
Did you ever watch that The Last Dance?
Yeah.
Dude, that was so good.
I want to watch it again.
It made me want enemies
just so I could see the mark.
I was like, who can I get pissed at
so that I can get further in life?
I need stepping stones.
Yeah.
That's a good one.
So that's when he cut me off.
I took that person.
Yeah, I took that person.
That was a good one.
Yeah, I think that actually
probably looked pretty good.
You get the wind and chrome.
Just like, that's smart.
Good little way to do something here.
It makes it a little bit different.
No, you can't get it easily.
Where are you trying to travel on it?
I think I'm going to try to do
Born Free because I haven't been
and Lindell should be around Born Free?
Yeah.
Lindell does a big,
like a big booth presence there.
Yeah.
We do every year.
So we typically have bikes.
Do you ever get to go
or is that not out of your...
I've been offered every year.
I just haven't.
I just don't want to be caught
in the wild.
Yeah, I just can't be bothered.
So can't be bothered thinking about coming to Texas Hills from California. Don't I'm kidding. Come. Please come
But don't bring any of that hippie California nonsense with you. It's all right here. Yeah, this is awesome, dude
You're gonna be like our hippie stuff here in Austin, but we don't like the California hippie stuff
I like it all just put a different license plate on and I won't know the difference. No, it's it's actually fine
We love your money. It's all green
You guys are so used to California prices. You come here you tip more you pay more you inflate the housing market
It's great. Yeah, sick. Yeah, everything said that last part
I
Either want to do Sturgis or homecoming. Mm-hmm
Homecoming makes sense because I'm from Kenosha, Wisconsin, so I can see my family also nicknamed the Kenosha kid
Not the one that shot people Kenosha shooter written house written house
Kenosha killer. We don't mention school together. No, we didn't he's like ten years younger than me
But he is my years left back a long time. Yeah
Better shooter them better shot for sure
This this is going down the tubes real quick. No, he's actually from the town
He's in Illinois. My well my parents were divorced one parent lived in a New York
One parent lived in Kenosha, so both towns are hometowns. Yeah. Yeah
I grew up riding the skate park in a New York
And then Kenosha was like where the bike shop was and we're I
Ride on the border. Yeah on the lake. I was from I can claim either. Yeah, but
Yeah, but obviously Kenosha's though
I claim Wisconsin being from there because I like the state better, but I'm a Chicago sports fan
So depending on who I approach and who I'm talking shit to it could go either way. Yeah, I feel you on that
No, well homecoming I haven't been yet, but it it feels more I
Don't know. I do mama tried every year. So to me like that's a very like intimate way to go to
Milwaukee, yeah, I don't know what the vibe is during homecoming. I don't know if it's more of a I just want to ride there
It is cool to ride up to do especially riders to the Dells like just like Western
The Dells rule I just drove to it. No, no one knows anything but Lake Geneva the Dells like there are really cool spots in Wisconsin
Wisconsin, that's really the convention, right?
In Geneva what?
The Geneva come yet. I go to Minnesota. What is that? That's where they had the first playboy club. Hey
Grand Geneva at the ski resort now. Nice. Oh, yeah. Nice. It's cool. Okay, man
I think you know you go especially like when you're on like
Riding up like the Mississippi
There's like small towns on the and then they'll have like a pub right there and you can you know, it's a pub because it's a big ass
Paps, yeah, the PBR signs are the old-style signs. I was like, I kind of want to just stay right there tonight
Like that's the kind of vibe classic science says on tap. Yeah, it's badass. Yeah, I love they sell vfw's
They have like 50 cent taps and stuff
It's a good culture if they're man, like summerfest, too, which summerfest no one knows about either the thing is like come like
You know, I would always pick Sturgis over homecoming though. Like it's just there's more
Yeah, it just depends on how it works out. If I have a reason to go to Sturgis, then I'll go to Sturgis
I would like to go and see like all the shows and stuff like that
But it really depends on whether I want to choose one weekend at work
I don't anybody that goes and does the shows
Like you talking about like the I've been I've been too. No. No. No, he's talking about like the bike
Oh, yeah, bike shows. I wouldn't yeah. No
I don't ever want to go trash show this year was looked awesome, dude
I I was invited to have my bike in that and I was like
Just ready to go
Sturgis sometimes is like Vegas where you kind of like want to get there
And the longer you're there the more you're like, man
I'm kind of ready to get the fuck out of here because it does start to rack up after a while
Well, yeah, it's atrociously expensive, but it's also like
It's a hard place to stay for a long time
Like you said because everything is far away like everything is an hour away
Yeah, you know, so you can get burnt out and then like if you're on the wrong side of your towards the rapid city side
That's where all like the awful weather always hits. Yeah, and you get stuck out the weather comes in so fast in that area too
It's crazy. I mean, I'm excited this year with what you guys are bringing with the proper bagger show up there
Um, well, I was thinking about going and helping him. Yeah, but we didn't announce that yet
So hopefully we announce it by the time this airs. I probably will okay. I'll make sure of it now
We just announced it so a prize
It's a leak baby. You know, if I can't leave Carly's anymore
I can't leave some parties or something
Yeah, yeah, so proper baggers will have a show there this year. So we're really excited about you should leak my bike
I did when it first came out
Oh god, let's let's not dig that up from the ground. I'm out of Harley Joe now. I don't want to
I was stoked when you did that. I was so excited. I was like, oh man, they they killed it
Yeah, I don't think necessarily and I can't speak on behalf of the motor company
This is just my opinion, but I don't necessarily think that they were
Upset that you leaked it, but the pictures were so shot
Well with the the cvo's yes, it was just bad angles bad stuff
But you know again like I didn't take the photos and honestly, I have no idea who sent me those photos
you know if I
you know
I mean
If you knew who you could tell them take better pictures next time
I just I don't I mean, I don't know how much to say or not say because I don't want to like
Talk myself back into Harley Joe. Oh, yeah, please. He's no tell me more. But uh, I'm just glad that we're past it all
Yeah, exactly. No, I agree. I agree
Yeah, I was unfortunate. I mean, I think anyone in your position probably would have done that
Yeah, yeah, for sure. Um
So
It is what it is
Yeah, well, I mean
The the thing is like there's so much. I mean just the time that we've known each other
The hardcore cycle show kind of emerged and became like the go-to event for especially east coast events like, you know
Daytona
Did they ever do anything at Laconia?
No, they never did anything. So they did their hardcore show at
Daytona and then they ended up doing it at Sturgers
and
It was the bigger presence was definitely Daytona because it's a kickoff of the season and
It was held at Teddy Morris
Daytona Harley and
And there wasn't really like a
Good outlet for that like subculture of bikes. So, you know, John and hardcore did a really good job with that
Um, I think he started doing in Sturgers and it was it was just as good. It was just a little bit smaller
Yeah, well the Sturgers one seemed like it was missing something
Uh, not that it was
on
John's fault or the hardcore cycles it just
Sturgers pools like you just said it's very spread out. So it pulls people a lot of different directions
So finding a good date
Um
Is tough and then and not that though shade or talk shit
But when you got Holt having a show every day, yeah, there's a lot of people that are like, well
Should I be at the Holt show or should I be at the so-and-so and everything so far apart?
Yeah, and so like Daytona was a better, you know, like a better scenario for that because everything is super close
In in Daytona, you know the furthest you're going
Look at the racetrack to the dealer. Yeah, our space goes. We've gotta go do yeah
Well, we are in it space. Well, we were at space goes for one year and then we worked with Orlando Harley
So that was far, but there was also
No other show on that day. Yeah. Yeah, so wasn't you weren't pulling anybody away from something
Yeah, exactly. That's a performance hangover show for the people
They're listening that don't know which one we're talking about. Yeah, that was on the first monday
And we named it the performance hangover show because
All the performance people came in that first weekend and by monday everyone was shocked. Yeah, everyone was shot and so they
Traditionally were coming to that show and then like leaving that night or leaving the first thing tuesday morning
Yeah, they come for that long weekend
The hardcore show was on sunday now proper baggers
Is taking that slot over and then typically they're getting like friday-saturday bars really hard
Swear they're not going out sunday night go out sunday night anyway, and then everyone shows up hungover on monday
Yeah, so it was a good time after doing a boss the wall ride to the show. Yeah doing the mercenary hood ride all the way there
Yeah, 120 miles an hour down the interstate, you know, it's definitely right
Yeah, I had a lot of fun when I followed them through the texas hills ride
I was like, oh cool like people from out of town that are just never seen these roads and they're just like blop
Yeah, sick. Yep. Just pin it in and pray just hope to get around all those curves
Send it off a clue. Yep, exactly. So so yeah
Sturgis is really spread out and that really is
That really is like the hard part about that. So yeah, I mean it
It it feel like with with a lot of the culture kind of
Shifting like culture. I mean like the old guards are shifting towards performance motorcycles now
You're starting to see them want to open the doors and the thing is like the a lot of the brands that own things in Sturgis
They're very old like Buffalo chips very old like they're not
actively looking at like guys like us to bring things to them and and every time they do reach out
It's some one sided shit where like they're gonna benefit all and we're basically paying them so we can be at their spot
Yeah, that's that doesn't yeah, that doesn't work out really and I don't think anyone that's doing a show is
Anticipating or trying to get rich on it. You know because
Like you've hosted things you hosted your camp out for all those years and I've hosted plenty of things and
And Mikey seen it even as big as like Texas Hills grew last year
You're not you're not making. Yeah, I want to I work a second job to just try to bring people together
Yeah, yeah, it's it's really fun and it definitely like it gave me opportunities that I wouldn't have had through motorcycles
And I met a lot of people that I are really close to I talk to you every day now
Which is why I did it. No, but it's still a second job. Yeah, it is. It's yeah, it's dedicated
It's you know, like when you get into anything more than like a one day pop-up show
That's not annual or anything. I mean you're talking hundreds of hours worth. Yeah, yeah
Yeah, even the rides now or like that's I was like cool like I have to be at this ride
I have to wake up at
9 o'clock in the morning to get to the ride by 10 o'clock to be like one of the first guys there
To talk to everyone tell everyone about the ride
And that's after I went to sleep at 5 o'clock the morning after work
So I'm like half asleep going to this ride. I get there. Jayce makes fun of me for having bedhead
Yeah, I helmet hair helmet hair. Yeah, I thought he had it was messy, dude
That's that's the man dog. Mike. Look messy Mike. I'm messy
My garbage pail kid
We've got Chopper Jayce, Meeple Mark
Meeple Mark, Marinara Mark, Marinara Mark
Marinara Mark, you forgot he on your head
I feel like I heard that one before
Yeah, I think that has been one that may have been tossed out before
Let's see. Let's see if there's any hashtag Marinara Mark after this
So with traveling
The ST is gonna at least go to another show and it's
Probably gonna
Go along with whoever is wanting me to be at one of the shows
Be at a booth or something whether it's original garage moto
It's lindel
Custom dynamics or sound
So someone is like, hey, can you be at the show to show off your bike?
I'm like, yeah, you help me out. Absolutely
Where does original garage motor usually set up in Sturgis or do they just kind of go and do the rounds?
They do kind of like what thunder max does like they kind of make their rounds and stuff
They have some supporting dealer or they have some dealers that they lend support to while they're out there and stuff
Okay, they don't do a hard structure booth
And they do it some shows and they'll do so like in Daytona and like I've known those guys for a long time
So in Daytona, they'll do all the one day shows, you know
They have an activation with Jeff Holt. So they'll do something there one day and like they come to the proper vaggers shows
They came to the performance hangover shows. They're coming here in May
May 15th through 17th
Austin, Texas Hill cycle show
Got a little finger. Why'd you finger gun the camera dude? I'll do it again
Texas pull out a gun. Yeah, you can do that. It's illegal here. I can't help us it. Yeah
Then they'll ban the video and you know
All the blue states you can open carry you can conceal carry you can do it all here. You're that california
You can open hand too. Yeah, you can open it for sure. Yeah, you can open hand or conceal them
Uh, you got another meeting to go to or something? No, just
My wife was traveling she just let me know she got to where she was going. That's good. That's good. I'm glad you said with um
Well with
Being able to go do one day shows at different places all the time
it's like the
It's I think it's the newer generations way of being involved in things like Sturgis and Daytona because
those
Typical vendor parking lot fees that they want is just completely astronomical
For a lot of the newer startup businesses that are and you and I have talked about that before and
And then your handicapped by only being at one location, you know, and some people could say that there's benefits to that, right?
So, you know, it's the same location all the time once you've got an established
Brand and you're there to like maybe do installs or something
Then that makes sense, right?
And yeah, and there's reasons for brands to do it and then you know
There's reasons for brands not to do it, right? Like saddlemen is always locked in at a location, right?
They will do some pop-up stuff here and there for you know, like close associates and stuff
But you know, if you're going to a rally and you want to find them
They're going to be in the same spot the whole rally with all their inventory, you know
But for a brand like ojimoto, a lot of those parts aren't
Like impulse buys, you know
You know, they're people, you know, like the life cycle of those parts
It's kind of like lindall breaks, right?
Like it's something that people look at for a little while and then when they get the opportunity to see it in person
They want to do that so going to those like one day shows that has a big crowd and then
Going, you know 20 minutes down the road and doing another one day show you can get a little bit of a different crowd
But it's also a targeted audience because you're at a show that's like
For a certain audience, right? Yeah, absolutely. And so you bring your brand that matches that show, right?
So so it works out
I think yeah, once you get to if your brand gets to a level where you know, you could
Afford to do 13 grand vendor fee for, you know, a big spot at at black hills
That means that you got staff there. You got to get a big ass house. So that's like a 20 plus thousand dollar easy
Nut just like after you get 20 grand, then it's profit. Yeah, you know what I mean? That's that's crazy
Just another bike or just buy another bike. Yeah four or five bike, but I mean it's it's kind of like, uh, you know
I've always said that it like if you want to like grow in this industry, you got to go be seen places, right?
So it's important that people see your brand at Sturgis and yeah
Daytona and Born Free Cali and things like that. I'm meeting people too because they want to connect with you again
Because they realize your fund. Yeah. Have I ever told you the shoe story?
Uh
So I mean maybe that's a very that's very well like in like sales and like brand representation shoe story
Have I ever told you that every time that story?
Uh, so I was working with my last company
Uh, which was a bluetooth electronics company and, um, still got you labeled is that in my phone?
Yeah, most people do. I changed it. I actually changed it back after we had that that much
Even whenever like we were talking about it at bike night this week. I was like, yeah, we're gonna say it at so-and-so
But I said the other brand name
Because it starts with the same like an L
So
So I was in my booth and uh a guy came up to me and you know, like very normal like sales questions
Why should I buy your brand over brand x dude? I
How before you go into it
You ever heard of dick slash resort. Yeah
How sick would it be to be in that shoe and someone comes up to you and ask you a question like that
And you can just go off on it. That's every night of my life. Yeah, that's actually how Mikey
That's the only way Mikey. I do that at gas stations. Yeah random. What the fuck did you just ask? Yeah, exactly
Get the fuck out of here nerd. I think I've talked about this with you before like I'll see someone in uh,
Indiana Pacers jersey and I'll just start talking shit on Indiana
And they're just like I just like Reggie Miller and I'm like, oh, you're not from Indiana. They're like, no, I'm from this place
I was like that place sucks, too
And it walks away. Yeah
If you're really lucky and you come to Texas Hills in 26 and Mikey comes up and insults you
He's gonna have that's how you know. I like you. He's gonna have a new sticker that says I just got insulted by
Three bike mic and he's gonna hand you on pretty sick. So
All right, so
So we're in the booth, right and this customer comes up and he's asking me all these questions
Asked me, why should I buy you over X and I'm like, well, you know like
Such and such this and he's like, yeah, but they do X Y and Z. I'm like, okay, such and such this. Well, they do ABC
so I stopped
I refrained myself from
Just calling you a minute idiot
And we were standing next to each other and I said look down at the grounds
I said you see your shoes
You see my shoes
You see the other brand shoes anywhere and he just looked up at me. He's like, ah, you're right
I was like, I'm out here
I'm out here with you guys like doing these things, you know travel into these shows you get to see me and ask me real questions
Have you done that with the other brands? Have you seen them anywhere?
He's like, oh, no, and I was like
That's why you should buy this product
So for you guys listening, what he's talking about is that the other brand never had a presence at the events
Therefore making it easier to say look, we're here to support this event that goes on and sell you
Thanks for summing that up. I appreciate it though. You just kind of that's you can cut out everything
That's kind of for lindall as well too, right?
I mean, it's a truth for any brand and that's the whole reason why brands go out and activate right so you
You can buy anything, you know, and there's
Not to go like too deep into like the sales and marketing psychology, right?
But you know like a a brand is you know, like a like a faceless creator or like an empty entity, right?
Like it's just a brand, you know
But when you associate someone with the brand and we've talked about this so many times you should do the
Tommy boy speech
Yeah, you got a good look at a T-bone steak. Let's take her out of a bull's ass. Why don't you take the butcher's word for it?
Also, Wisconsin, right?
Yeah, I thought it was Michigan. Oh, yeah, it's somewhere in the Midwest though. Yeah, there's some break. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah
Yeah, I have all parts. Yeah
Yeah
Oh god, so yeah, you know
Brands or you know like this like
empty faceless
Entity and I'd say soulless but empty
It's just an idea. Yeah, and that you don't have like any personal connection with so when these brands go out these shows
And almost everyone is guilty of it guilty sounds like a negative word
But I think most people are are steered in this direction
when you get to meet
A person from the brand and they tell you about what bike they ride
And they tell you where they grew up and you guys grew up in the same state
Yeah, and you build that personal connection, you know, it makes you that much more inept to want
To have those parts from that company. Yeah, right
And all the companies that like I I support strictly
You know and fully with like whatever bike I'm building or riding are people that I have
Real connections with right like my buddy Pat works for settlement and I'll just
Always run settlement, right, you know, because I've been out dinner with those guys hung out with them
You know like we sent messages about it going forward. So
It's just what it is. Not that the other seats aren't good, you know, I'm sure they are but you know
But you wouldn't know because saddlemen are fuck you. Yeah, pretty much. Yeah, it's science
It's actually one of their slogans. It is science blue blue cordial science
It's not opinion. It's science
Saddleman since 1984. So damn. He's just working on a job or more finger guns. Yeah
Yeah
Hashtag finger gun mark. Yeah, but it is like when you go to events and you meet people
You're meeting kind of friends for life and then you stay connect down instagram
Every time they come through town or you go through their town. Yeah, it's like a bar buddy
But instagram is kind of like a bar a bar. Yeah
It's like a place you go and like you post something and people have their
Little commentary and then you chat and you ask about all these other things and then you say something offensive
And then you steer away from it and then your friends again
Too far too far. Well, let me dial it back in. I mean you say something and they're probably driving or they have like a
Or they're riding and they have like a long period where they don't text you back. You're like, fuck. Did I say something wrong?
You can't see their facial expression. This is what mickey gets anxiety about. Obviously. No, no, no, no
That's not my anxiety
Yeah, I get anxiety because it's been like cold outside and I've had to sit still
This stuff too. Yeah
It's it's tough, man. Well, you know when it comes to like, uh
You know the branding stuff we we used to say that a lot about like brands, but I still say that now it's like
Used to for instance, when I used to say that was because of like, uh legend suspension versus olens back in the day
You know when the performance bagger thing first kicked off, you know
People just went to olens because it's one of those brands that you just know it's associated to
You know a high end performance, right? Yeah
Legend was around in the motorcycle world for a long time. So whenever they then produced a product that was
Comparable, maybe not better. I'm not here to you know, say this or that
But a comparable product what they were also doing is they were sponsoring riders in this community. They were supporting
Creators channels. They were creating events that people went to they sponsored events
And actually warranting stuff yeah warranting stuff and being out there
Yeah, being so these events that everybody loves whether it's at Texas Hills or Sturgis or
Set event like if olens isn't sponsoring or using
Their market share to help keep this thing alive and they're kind of just taking from it
Now olens has much more activations in events now. They're much more involved. I think they see that
I I would almost
Be willing to bet some form of money that probably the Harley market is more likely to
Go out and buy olens suspension to put on their bike versus the sport bike community
I would say yeah, I agree. Especially with screaming eagle doing stuff with them and
Yeah, I can get yeah, I'm getting like different finishes and that's seal of approval from like the motor company offering
Especially with the race stuff now. Well, yeah, I mean that goes people see stuff and they're like
I have to have that if I want to hit a turn go fast. Let me just think about how like they just
The the the industry chose them before they ever had to really even do anything
They kind of got to a point. I guess we should go fucking
Because we're hanging out with Harley guys now too apparently not with Brembo like Brembo does even do motorcycles
So it does kind of like for me personally since I and most people that watch this are not ever going to be good enough to
Outride
Even the basic of suspension that are upgraded
Really ever going to need the brakes that are going to stop you from basically going
You know so fast or whatever the hell good brakes obviously is an important thing
But I like to see it to see more of these bigger brands that have market share to start putting some of that
Income back into this community is what I consider that to be important for sure
And to hold it accountable to those people
Hey, look if you want to be here and you want to collect all this money then uh, you need to start supporting
You know sponsoring things this blah blah blah blah, you know, yeah, absolutely
And all this is definitely a great example of that because they have been like an industry standard for like
The highest end suspension you could get
Um, and you know, like you said they saw the writing on the wall
They needed to participate and they have you know, which is nice, you know
They have activations in all the tracks with all the king the bagger races
Um, they've been at all like the big selling shows like Daytona and Sturges and they have knowledgeable staff there
And they have stickers to give out and that's everything that makes people feel good. Yeah, you know, um
I wasn't asked, uh, you know when it comes to like the brake companies
That make rotors and things like that. Like I haven't other than lindall. I haven't really seen much of a
Involvement in any of other any of the other brands that are out there that are basically
That's what I was trying to say before. I was like lindall's kind of the same. We're like, yeah
We're here. We're showing you things. You're putting your hands on them
Yeah, we also ride these products and we're talking about why we ride these products
Yeah, I did a dealer trip
Uh, like an 11 day trip on my bike
Visiting dealers. I think it went to like eight or nine states
And um, they're all like well, yeah, they're all bunched up. Calm down. Calm down. It's like going from here to dallas
Oh, shut up. Uh, it wasn't it wasn't that where i'm from. There's six cities in three hours
I went from virginia all the way down to alabama and came all the way up. So I did I hit
There was miles there, but the point is is that like when I walked in the big miles on mark
My oh my lord
My oh my lord mark the triple ends
um
When I would go into a dealership and they saw me coming in with like
A vest on with bugs all over it and you know, like I took my helmet off and put a lindall hat on and like brought it
In a a catalog with me. You know, like they rolled their eyes and they everywhere. Yeah, exactly my size
Yeah, cut that out
They all asked me like did you ride here? Yeah, I'm like, yeah, and they were all so stoked on it
You know because again, like you said, you know those brand reps like
Living the story, you know, like hey, I rode here. Yep on lindall brakes on lindall wheels, right?
On lindall pads all the way through like they love to see that. Yeah, they love to see that so
I think that's cool when companies go out of their way to show their product being tested like s and s
Did that with that easy star cam or like they made a machine that started the cam over and over again for like
A year it started like a certain amount of time and there's like this is why it's proven scientifically proven
We have video footage of this thing starting thousands and thousands of times. Yeah, that's cool testing like that. Yeah
I mean, I think people should even Harley should show more of that
Like just the science behind stuff and why they do that and they they have been like riser has been doing articles and like talking about like
Then making the fairing and like the process of making it and having the designers talk about why they did it a certain way
And using the wind tunnel and yeah
That's cool. Like people that are actually in the scene
Want to read that stuff and like it shows a face to who's designing it and that's why fxr's were so cool
Like there were families of people creating all these paint schemes and then the frame design
And you knew was welded in pennsylvania and they were all designing stuff
but it was
Like they had testing and they did all these things
I think that's cool
Do you have a look on your face like your did they wait?
I don't know that was before I'm actually actually maybe I couldn't making this up. I think I read about it. I don't know
thinking about hunday
hunday, yeah
Oh, sorry guys. This is the fast line far podcast now. I was talking about Toyota. It's like about the new stinger
stinger
Yeah, there's a where's that company from I think that there's spinoff of like hunday
Genesis stinger or something like that. Oh, the stinger is a kid. Oh, yeah stinger is a keya. Yeah, but I think hunday
You drive it's out. It's a korean cars basically korean cool. Yeah. Kia hunday. All that's korean
Genesis
Which is hunday genesis is like the lexus of toyota. Nice
so
Yeah, it's uh
I don't buy korean. Yeah
Only buy chinese
Yeah
Yeah, there's there's just a lot of that that goes on and like when you're trying to preach that stuff
It's just like to help
You know when people want to use their buying power to help the culture evolve and grow that that's kind of important
You know, I mean because if someone is making all the market share
They're getting all the the sales, but they don't put back into the community then a lot of the things that
We kind of want to be around so that when we get an opportunity to finally go to Sturgis or finally go to texas hills or
They tell her whatever event, you know, like those things need to be funded by something
Yeah, we don't have cigarette companies dropping money and beer companies dropping money like they did 20 years ago
No, so even the bar industry doesn't yeah, like like reps are falling off all over austin and austin is a drinking city
Yeah, but drinking's down like 40 right now. It's because these freaking gen z's dude
They don't all these so many people god gross, you know, uh, I get so you didn't do some of the drugs
Yeah, i'm down. I mean i'll still slip in a little bit. I'll just dress as a rabbit downstairs
Yeah, dm mickey personally for the for the
He does work at a bar. I do work at a bar. I'm around drinking in drugs more than anyone
Yeah, I just don't do them on anymore unfortunately
That probably does that one downstairs
He probably does it
He does them all but I I think that I've always with all my hobbies have tried to support companies that
Put a face and a reason to why they do things
And when you see a new part and it's like there's a lot of catalog parts
Where like there's a print
It's just a stamp of like their logo on a riser or a lever or something like that
It's a different form of something else that's always been like that
But when a company goes out of their way
To show you why they do that like how paul does it if you talk to paul about a monolithic wheel
I said this last podcast it's insane. He just goes into it. He tells you everything and then he'll explain the entire thing to you
And he's so excited
And it's awesome. I like that and he sells you on it without even trying to sell you a wheel
It's a mad scientist. Yeah, it's awesome. Wild man paul, but oh not so not so wild man paul now
Yeah, he's he's calm calm paul
Well, and I'm not trying to you know for people listen like I'm not trying to sit here and
Like try to sell you products. I'm just trying to say that like
Use your buying power to
Support the kind of people that are doing shit that you think is good
Um, and that you think is actually that are actually a part of this well because they want to be here and they want to
You know, like they love motorcycles. They're not just capitalizing on you know
You know a culture that they don't really care about you know what I'm saying. Absolutely. It's really important
um
We're already here
I was
I don't know what time is it? I don't know it's almost six in the bathroom. No
I'm not that old. It's 4 30. Well, I'm trying to see we have one. We've done one hour in three minutes
Oh, wow, it's pretty good. Oh, so you're saying you're done. No, I'm not saying I'm done. Don't turn it off
No, I was just asking I was just making sure
So we'll circle back circle back on the um, we can talk about teesport summer
No
No
Teesport summer just I am I am doing an all-teesport trip
So you're going by yourself? No, no, no, no. So this is probably not known
I I bullied all my close friends into buying all one teesports
So we have there's like six people. There's six people that have all one teesports now
And then they all have soft alimates, too
Yeah, so we go on different rides and so it's kind of like how girls like
They all call each other cycles. Yeah, they're like, well, yeah, we do teesport cycles
They're like, oh, we'll all wear matching bows today and matching
I don't know tank tops tomorrow. That's what they do. You're gonna get like vests
Be like the old Harley riding clubs from way back in the day. Oh, yeah, yeah
Hang out do the snapping thing. What was that video west side story? Yeah. Yeah, I'd be good with the sharks and the
Jets, dude, if we can bring back culture like the way it was in the warriors movie
Yeah, I mean we could
Just saying I have you just have guns now. It's very accessible
Have you ever seen uh lords of flat brush?
I feel like I've heard of it. I have not seen it. It's like a spin-off. Well, it's not a spin-off
But it's it's kind of set the same way that like the warriors were set
um
And it's just like it has a crazy cast that has like
John Travolta
That's all I can remember right now, but it does it has uh, I think it has alpachino in there or something
It's a crazy weird movie, but it takes place in
A flat brush in new york, but it's just like greasers like that
um
kind of the same thing as
I don't know where i'm really going with this, but it's a good movie. You should look if you've seen the streets of fire
No, so
Uh, my buddy jeff millburn told me about this and he was like dude, it's my favorite movie
And we watched and it has uh, wiliam defoe in it, but he's oh, I've seen that. Yeah
It I mean it's it's an old movie man. Defoe has been in so much death
Yeah, but he's so young in that he is super young
And I can't remember if he was the biker or the hot rod guy. I think he was a hot ride
I
Maybe i'm thinking about the movie where he's a biker. Yes. He is the one who's the bad guy. He's a bad guy. Yes
Yes, I love bad guy william defoe. Yeah, I love
The green goblin. Oh, exactly. That's exactly what I was thinking about all those memes where it's like
It uses the sound clip of him like talking like the green goblin
And it's like you guys are seeing anti christ when like the six beers look at you on a tuesday at 9 p.m
And it's like the green goblin voice comes over
Oh god
Antichrist they had to use a stunt cock because william defoe's dick was too big to film
What?
It's a known fact in the industry. He's packing like that too. These are these glasses look like that have ai
You want me to ask the ai? Yeah, yeah, please do
How big is william defoe's?
Package. Yeah. Hey, man. How big is william defoe's green goblin?
How big is william defoe's penis?
I
Can hear you talking
Told you look how taken back. He is what too big for film
No, keep going
Dude, it said I told you I wasn't lying. I didn't make it up. Hold on. I gotta I gotta record this for the thing
How do I get this what's going on
Uh fuck hey meta
How big is william defoe's penis?
Willem Dafoe's penis size has been a subject of discussion with director Lars von treer stating it's too big
And required a stand-in for the film antichrist
It's because the movie antichrist. Thank you
That's awesome. I just said it's welcome. Yeah, I just want to make sure that uh the overlords
Hold on
Sorry, he's got his lo-fi playing now
Dude, that's fucking crazy. That's crazy. I thought it was gonna. It's like we can't answer that but
And emily got right into the weeds. Yeah. Yeah. See that kind of ai I like, you know, yeah
That's the kind of stuff you need to know. Yeah. Well, just it answered a question. You know what I'm saying
You're gonna be at a bar
Drinking one of your martinis and you're just like
You guys ever hear about william foe's package too big to film
So big they couldn't get it on camera. Yeah
They didn't they didn't have wide angle lenses back there. Yeah
They had to shoot everything at 50 mil so
But the thing that's a bummer is in the movie
I've seen that movie in the movie that they needed a stunt cock for the cock that was in it was still huge
Oh my god, and I was just like damn that dude is hung
Freak to flow
What was it, uh, what was it boogie knights?
Yeah, that they had to
What was the name of john homes?
He
Have any shooting number?
Yeah, they uh, didn't they like
Apparently, um, what's the name uh marky mark war like a uh
Like a a prosthetic penis or something for that. I think I heard about when I was too small and it's always sunny
Put your penis in front of my penis
That was a good ass movie though. Maybe you should have as meta if uh, the real story without the nuts
Marky mark has a tiny penis. I don't want meta to think that I'm
Start making suggestions sexually open. Yeah
I'll be walking around and you'll see some dude like you might like that guy
That guy is probably packing jades. Yeah
I
I will say about these lasses like there's a lot of convenient stuff about them
It's pretty sick
But there is like this weird feeling of wearing them. Yeah, you're kind of like man like I'm
Because it has like these little rings. They're obviously cameras. Yeah, so that part I'm I'm not really well
I thought about that with people in the bar. I'm just like they're I'm gonna get fired because of some
AI shit people are gonna start filming and they're gonna bring up like the packers versus bears and I'm gonna go off
Yep, and then I get a real life Yelp review. Yeah. Yeah gotta be careful
They register you as a business
This is my goal
One star one star one star
Dude, I think Yelp culture needs to just go away like
I don't like it
I think it's funny just as long as your job doesn't care
Some of the reviews from my old bar job are insane
Like talking about fights at the bar or like the bartenders didn't do anything to help us out at all the bartender hit me
Like let me ask you this question
Have you ever left a positive review for something? I have yeah
I've I've never actually have a good friend the need to do that because you're a bad person
I have a good friend that rides motorcycles and he probably wouldn't want me to bring it up because he does it as like a passion project
He's not the guy that you would ever think would do this
But he writes crazy reviews and he like highlights everything of the reason he likes the said product or the food or the restaurant
And it's like a book
And he'll leave it after he like I know it makes a difference
That's what I'm saying is like I wonder how many people are like me
Where the only time they get compelled to write a review about something is when it's lots of people
Do you know Webster's dictionary has almost
Twice as many negative words as they do positive words
Yeah, that's a fact. I didn't know that but yeah, it makes sense, right? Like
Well, that's because people are thinking when they're mad. We're wired
To always look for the bad things because of you know survival like
Positivity is not as uh salacious for us to hear and and take in and
You know, whatever
Would you say cilantro?
Selena Selena
That was Selena, right? Yeah
But no that
It's just the way we're wired, you know, that's why gossip
Gossip concerning something negative about someone or something. It's like we want to know
We're wired to want to know to see if it's going to affect us
That'd be cool if you're wearing the glosses and ai's like that's gossip not real fact
Yeah, yeah that person's yeah, but who's betting that I don't want to know that either. Yeah
Well, it's like we're always like concerned like when something's happening on the news
Or a car crash like who wrote the song about it called dirty laundry
I don't know the 80s song dirty laundry. Hold on. I don't like bad music. Do it
Hey meta, who wrote the song
about dirty laundry
In the 80s
Don Henley
Don Henley
Dirty laundry song and that's all it's about is that like it's about like telephone
No, like bad news travels fast like people only want to hear about the bad things. Yeah, you know, like a lyric goes something along the lines of like
Is the head dead yet can we send the film crews in like get the widow on the set
It's just talking about like that with those bars. I don't want to get demonetized
That was copyrighted
Oh, you're giving me a copyright strike mc mark mc mark
What other
Uh, so you said you're gonna you're trying to go to uh, uh mama tribe this year either. No, I am going to mama try
I already bought a ticket. We're we're all we're we've got something kind of cooking up. That's gonna be pretty cool
Are you trailering bikes there? I'm flying. I'm bringing my daughter
So I'm flying up and dropping my daughter off with my mom and I'm gonna go to mama tried
We might have like I'm going to see 900 else. That's the real reason we might it's my birthday have a
A special house
That is for only cool guys
That is going to be a spot that a lot of cool shit will happen like a airbnb type thing. Okay. I know of some of the
Private parties that they have there just because they grew up there
So I've been invited some of those where like they have like industry parties where it's not very open
So I thought about trying to hit one of those up
But probably the same thing
We'll collaborate on he's not inviting you he just wanted to let you know he said cool guy mark
He didn't say yeah, so so that's did you get an invite? Are you mama tried mark now?
tried mark
I have a great mama tried story. I uh, I'm excited to see the raid full of motorcycles. Uh, it is pretty cool
It is really cool. Last time I was there. I got a fight. I think it was 20 nice
2020 or 2021 might have been the year that we did the industry party at house of harley
And the guy got the penis tattooed on him. Yeah
Yeah, that kyle drew which he should be here by now, but let's see. Yes, I can't wait to see kyle, but um
I was he some dude got a dick tattooed on their thigh the cow
12 inch dick 12 inch because it was a hundred dollars for a duffer. Yeah a duffer
Maybe a mini duffer where the jury's still out on how big that thing actually is. Yeah, but uh, we were there and there was a tattoo artist there and
Kyle's you know, like the dick master obviously everyone knows this by now
It's the cost of the cost. I apologize
And so he started drawing one and we were starting to like walk around and try to get money for people
To like pay for the tattoo and then people started hearing about it. Oh, he paid for it. No, no, no
No, it was crowdfunded. Oh, and he got a 12 inch dick, but he got it backwards
He got it pointing up. You remember that he was docking. He was docking himself. I guess but that
That size. I don't think it's docking anymore. I think it's like dominating
Dominic defoing defoing. Yeah. It's defoing. Uh, that was great. But he's got a defo on his leg
I was flying in from like dc to come there
and
There was a huge storm
Obviously, it was february snowing
No, this was uh, this was when it was in uh, December
It was just the makeup. Oh, you're right. It was the makeup year because they they did it right again
Yes, and they had a contract with them. Well, it there's so much
Well, it canceled so it canceled like on the first day
And so then that year they did so they had to like honor all the tickets and all the things they'd already sold
So, you know, but uh, I was trying to fly and I couldn't get into Milwaukee. So I flew into Chicago
I took an uber to the only piece of joint that was open. I got a whole pizza
That sounds really good right now. I got a whole pizza in Chicago
And then ubered all the way to milwaukee with the pizza in the back
You moved from Chicago to Milwaukee. Was the train not running or anything?
I do not even know. It was an hour and a half. That was a business expense. Don't worry. I just threw it on the card
That's crazy. Uh, and I just ate all. Did you talk to the person? Yeah, or did you see pizza?
I ate half a pizza back then. Did you offer him any? Yeah, I did. You were wearing marks in the back seat
I'm wearing their mark in the back seat. Uh, I don't know, but it smelled like a pizza joint in the back seat
He requested a quiesol. I want to I want the music loud
I want to hear him out driving it
But I drove all the way there and we had
We had two rooms
with queen beds in them and a conjoining door
and it was like
me
pat
Pat and his wife tim
Chopsky
Chopsky's we out for an hour downtown. Y'all said downtown because that's when chop left his jacket somewhere and we had it
Yes, so we had to take it back to him because we were staying at the
right work
Uh, uh, was the dealership worse or something? No, no, we we would stay over there by the dealership house of harley
They had a dealership hotel. We were we were downtown
Um, it was hilarious
Because I showed up like I showed up every time i'm there. I it's cool
But like i'm always around like a sunday or monday. It was it was cool. I mean, it's a cool dealership
Does alex still work there alex does still work there? So because alex still worked there. It's a cool spot
Yeah, but other than that it just you know it the wing the wing got taken out of its sails once
But that kind of happens with dealers, right?
They get like the perfect storm of people in there and like and it becomes really cool and stuff like that
And those people move on to bigger and better things and they have to rebuild, you know, like it's like it's like bars
They need to re-face and re-you know, it's just a life cycle of the newer age of stuff
But I should have like 2 a.m. Like kicked the door open everyone's sleeping. I walk with half a pizza
I just go to everyone's bed. I'm like you want pizza? You want pizza?
It was funny. It was it was a riot
And they left the doors open and the doors were almost like at head level on the bed
So you could see all the beds looking back and forth. It was it was a riot dudes staring each other while they sleep
Yeah, dude. Well, I mean like everyone's girlfriend was there too. It was a very strange setup. I feel like there's a there's a
There needs to be an understanding that some events not because you're doing shit wrong
But like some events like you need to leave the girlfriends at home
Yeah, just like I don't want to hang out with you
Is the one hang out with the version of you? Well, especially everyone in Milwaukee. Milwaukee's not very
Girl-friendly unless you're from Wisconsin. My wife wants to go this year. So I gotta take her
Milwaukee's like the place you go and you're like it's not even really fun since I quit drinking like Milwaukee not as fun for me
Yeah, I would imagine going there with sober is just like yeah, it's it's like everyone's like you don't drink
What's wrong with you? It's like I live somewhere where you can go outside half the year. Yeah, yeah, but uh
Yeah, the the most drunk I've ever gotten my life so far out of town was in Davenport a couple weeks ago
Davenport's the same
Bro, I had got so fucked up and then the next I went to bed at 7 a.m
and then
had a podcast the next day in cedar rapids and then
When your hangover hit
Once I got to cedar rapids. Yeah, and then I get to cedar rapids and uh, so it was a hangover and a fever
Oh, perfect. So I'm throwing up in this guy's parking lot and shivering
Gave yourself covid
So I ended up texting. I'm gonna say hey, man. I I
I didn't tell him that I was I was fucked up
But he'll know now the fucked up. Yeah is why I couldn't do it because it made me sick
so I just got a hotel room and
Took the hottest bath I could for the longest let it out and yeah
And just like I was cold and then of course I got hot afterwards and sweated it out. Um
Yeah, it felt pretty bad because the thing was that this dude that was gonna do the podcast was sober
The last thing I want to do is be in there fucking hungover and smelling like sweating out whiskey and shit. Yeah
Burping up and getting like tasting the alcohol again guys are seeing there. It's like this is why I quit drinking
Yeah, he's like I don't want to talk anymore
What sucks is like out there like the drink of choice when things run out is bush light and I
Never thought I would be at that point in my life where bush light would be
enticing
I liked bush light. It's easy to drink. I don't I don't
I guess this we have a draft at white horse boot. I don't want any of that shit
Booziness like when it comes to beer is put a lime on it a place. I don't I don't like to drink certain things
Like I I don't drink like bud light fucking
Uh bud heavies like I don't want to drink any of that shit anything my dad drank when I was a kid
Like I don't want to drink PTSD child of divorce back to the let's talk about it
You want to get into that let's talk about it. Let's unpack that really why don't you give me the glasses?
He's why don't I take control? Yeah, just start filming. We'll see how uncomfortable we can make. No, I'm not gonna oh, I am filming
You're not. No, it just yeah. When did jace's parents get divorced?
You gotta you gotta go. Hey. Hey meta. Hey meta
Let's talk about William Defoe's dick again
I rather not talk
No, no, I hear you this is uh jace by the way
All right, peace. Nice to meet you as well jace
Oh, nothing. I have nothing else to talk about besides William Defoe's dick
Just hung up on me
I'm done
Goodness, that's funny. That's funny. Well. Hey as as we're just being
Darylix in here and just talking about William Defoe's penis the whole time. Yeah, uh, it's about time. We're just waiting for Kyle. Yeah
The dick also all right
May 15th the weekend of yeah
So maybe they need to follow the page too because you're you guys are always announcing the rides and stuff that are going on
Yeah rides. We need well. We need to build a calendar that is
Like known. Yeah, it's known like people could build up their year to go to our events or one rides
Yeah, so we'll have a published calendar. We'll probably do a half year calendar like up to the event
Yeah, and then it'll you know, it'll fluctuate after that
But we'll have a published calendar that'll be pinned to the top of the page at
tx hills
tx underscore hills tx underscore hills
Just cut that out. I'm also going to do a lot of stuff that won't be just texasills related
It'll be like the t-sport ride
We're starting a youtube we didn't talk about that. Well, yeah for the for the build for the rides
For two trips probably going to do a big bend trip. Yeah with all the guys
Maybe on t-sports. Maybe I'm maybe on m8s depending on how everyone's bikes are going. We're doing a california
t-sport only trip
Which it probably won't make it. Yeah, probably won't yeah, probably won't
be a new mexico trip
My last time the trip was only a new mexico trip
Yeah, so we're going to read also
The youtube channel
Is going to primarily be focused about the the bike build
It'll include all the riding and all that stuff. They're like all of our short form
media is always done like on instagram and stuff
But this is really to showcase like our partners why they're important to us and you know
And and more about their product line specifically
So there'll be an episode that's all about lindahl and we'll take you guys to the lindahl compound and I'll
Probably the guy talking on it and we'll talk about the parts and stuff like that
And then it'll cut to them doing the install here. So the parts being installed here and stuff. We'll do the same thing for og moto
Um, you're gonna go to their facility. No, I I'm not I want to go there. I'm not allowed in canada anymore. So
Me either
No, uh, but whatever you're gonna say, it's gonna be bad. I'm died. I stopped myself. I that hardly ever happens
I didn't do it. I appreciate it. If you guys also want to DM me. I'll talk to you about that
But yeah, so it's gonna be based around that and just be able to give you a little more information
You know, some people I'm sure probably live in main and you know, all those crazy players are southern california crazy places
Crazy place. I'm always Stephen king. Why would you live here? Yeah, exactly. Well main. Have you been up there?
Yeah, once looks beautiful. Yeah for like two months and then like it's
That and like Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, wisconsin. Yeah, all the same type of place
No, no, it's different. They they no the main people are different. You've have you my people from main there
I've only been there during a day. Yeah, like rode in saw what I wanted to see and left. It's just it's hard living
It's
It's hard living people
And they're all alcoholics too
It's like Ireland, Wisconsin, Wisconsin. Yeah
But but without Harley-Davidson there, so it's they have lobster boats. They don't have a dealership up there
They honestly need to get spices up there. They have the most dryest blend
It's like the lobster rolls up there. There's you gotta try the lobster roll, dude. It's like it's it's just lobster
There's nothing on as I do can I get some Tabasco or Louisiana on this shit or something something besides this butter?
Again, it's like some fucking redneck down here saying these got the best steak in the world
Are there any like well-known shops or people up there that I would even know?
There's a cool bar there
Yeah, the biker bar. What's that thing that place called that everybody goes to from Laconia a lot?
It's uh, like the koozies
Something I don't know. There's like a there's a ride from Laconia. It's like the full day ride and it takes you to the coast of Maine
And I'd like to go to Laconia. I've never yeah, it's beautiful. I haven't been on that area just as a kid
But never on it. It's just so close to uh
Born for you for us and yeah, exactly. Yeah, there's
There's always some overlap like that
But yeah, so the youtube channel focus, you know around those things giving you like a bigger picture of like
What's going on here for the 2026 season? We'll have the calendar published out
Tx underscore hills for instagram
Might end up doing some bike checks with the guys
Stuff like that just
Stuff to keep things going and yeah, introduce some people that most people wouldn't know
Just showcase some cool bikes that are gonna be at the event. Yeah, a bunch of stock t-sports
Yeah, what's your o1 t-sports? This is a factory toolbox. I just sent off my heads and jugs. It'll be very not stock
Uh
Showcase all dustin's crazy bikes. He has four now
He's got a bunch of crazy bikes
James has five bikes james and frank are also doing tattoo stuff again. James is about to do the poster
Yep, yokem. Yeah, james is the man. Yeah, he did our last sure for born. Yeah, that was awesome. Yeah
Yeah, very chopper very jc. Well, I did a chopper chopper chopper shirt cj
Not jcj. He's used to choice. Yeah, cj. Oh, what's cj do? Yeah, ww
CJ do do do cjd
I didn't kick over a spike to get a great podcast. Yeah, I was getting a little bit long, but uh
Did you talk about not kicking your bike over to get here?
Yeah, yeah, I did is that in the other podcast. No, I'm defeated. Yeah, no, no
I lost the chopper gods one this round
I do like watching your journey on this it's cool. Well, I'm trying to be open and honest
No, no, that's why I like it because you're like, hey, this is really hard. I
Built this entire bike and it's still not easy after I built it
I think people should see that because if you really want to be a chopper guy
You should want and you should know exactly what you're doing
That's why I don't have a chopper because I don't know anything about it. There's a there's a bit of a
Maybe rite of passage is the word to use on there where I feel like
In order to like it is one of the most amazing feelings riding this bike straight up. It's not fast
It's not anything, but it's just this rule, right?
And I think that
To get that experience should be some level of like effort like it shouldn't be
Like my my FXR chop, right? That's
It's got a chopper stance
But it's you know a lot of the things that I would say that I'm enjoying about this actual chopper
This hardtail is not that bike
And people can't argue about it being a chopper
Well, I mean suspension. Yeah, it's not chopper. I really wouldn't I mean I don't I wouldn't
I don't think I would ever get involved in the argument of trying to say what is or isn't something
But I know that what I am on now on this purple bike is a chopper. Yeah, of course defined by the majority of people
um
and I think that
Doing something like that and doing it the hard way it it's where I think that whenever it does start
It feels different than when you just click the button and go of course and
again like
You know if I was the dude that only had you know a weekend off to go ride this bike and
I'm spending an hour and a half trying to get started in the morning
That's not for everybody. You know what I mean? It's it's definitely not a primary bike
Yeah, I was very close to being a chopper dude in austin like I lived with rinecraft
He had a shovel when we lived together. He sold his shovel. I was about to buy it
He got a panhead and I was like, oh perfect project starter. He's gonna give me a good price
He ended up selling japan
He got a crazy deal where like I couldn't compete with it at all and it
Would have set motorcycles in a completely different way one. I probably would have never quit drinking, but
I ended up getting you don't have to drink to have a chopper dude. You gotta do you gotta do harder drugs
No, I mean you can still do those sober
Yeah
But
I got a fx dx and then my two roommates had choppers one had a sporser chopper always started
And then the other one had a shovel head and we'd be like leaving work at three o'clock in the morning
It's 30 degrees out and he's like kicking it kicking it kicking it and yeah leaving the bike at the bar and stuff like that
Just well, there's just there's a lot to this that it's like you're figuring it out
Because I can kick it over way quicker than I could when I first started doing it. I'm learning
He was also 21 like I can I can hear the motor. Okay. This is an actual compression stroke
Versus it's just another you know cycle or whatever
So you start to kind of learn these things
And I think that once I've got some time and I've learned this bike and I need to probably
Dial some more things incorrectly
And then I think starting it'll be easy much easier
And I you know because all my friends are on choppers their choppers aren't hard to start
Yeah, you know, but everything's fresh and new so it's just getting it dialed in
Do you have close buddies that are on shovel heads? Uh panheads. Yeah mainly uh
Well
Corey is on a shovel head just like mine. The wizard though. He is the wizard. Yeah, he's the guy
But he's also like he's kind of hands off on this part of it because you know, he's letting me kind of figure things out
Because it's I mean
He would have to do it too. You know, it's not like he has an answer
Yeah, he would have to figure it out. So I'm doing that process you're doing your own hard work
Instead of him figuring out your hard work
I definitely wanted to write it down here, but I'll be honest with you. This weather that we have today
Sucks compared to what 70 degrees tomorrow today. It was like a high of 50. Yeah, so
If you had a cruise down 35, would you comfortably be able to keep up with the speed limit? Uh, no, yeah, I would have probably
Came down to like 65 70 and the speed limit 75. So everybody's doing 85 your effects are cruises
It'll cruise that easily. I mean, I wasn't hauling ass on it. But you know, you're gearing on that set for highway
Well, it's just five speed normal
Just a normal bike nothing
Up or down, you know, just a nice paint job. Yeah, nice parts
No bikes, right? It's awesome. I really like it. It's comfortable. It's leaking primary fluid everywhere like we saw. I didn't want to breathe
That's fun. Yeah
It is an apex arc so yeah
And you just wrote it here from Dallas because that's farthest you've wrote that one. I wrote to born free. That's it
That bike I don't even think I have a thousand miles on it yet to be honest with you
Which dude, I haven't really ridden this year. I wrote it. You only wrote it at born free
I wrote it to born free but that's only
300 miles around trip
So I don't want to be Texas. That was that. Oh, yeah. What are you talking about? It's like a thousand miles El Paso
Oh, yeah, the other one. Yeah. Yeah. No, that's all good. Yeah. All right
well
lindall
proper baggers
Texas Hills
Mikey Luplo
Is that it mark? Yeah, that's it mark. Yeah, we talked about last night. It was a good time
Sick. It was fun. I enjoyed that one more than the last one
Yeah, and thank you cowboy for giving us this room to act like thank you William Defoe for being a hot horse boy
That's it
Well guys, I hope you enjoyed that and I hope you got a little bit of information about the Texas Hills cycle show that's going down
