Hazard lights are the blinking lights on a car that warn other drivers that something is wrong. You turn them on when your car is stopped or if you're having trouble driving.

Technical Definition

Hazard lights, also known as emergency flashers, are used to alert other drivers that a vehicle is experiencing trouble or is stationary. They are activated by pressing a button that causes all turn signal lights to flash simultaneously.
