whether cars rule or ruin everything around us this week with myself, Edwin, William to my left,

I need to fix this just to get some bits old, and now the weather has turned,

and I'm like, it is a good winter daily.

This is what I was going to ask, because we went out in the CL earlier,

and you said, I am getting bored of the CL.

Part of that is the music thing.

I genuinely think it is the music.

I'm just driving it around in silence.

Your driving's got worse.

The problem is, you're driving like a true CL driver.

You're now like doing, because at first, Will was just wafting about,

and now he's just doing pulls on every straight road.

That's the good thing about a ranger over is it doesn't allow that.

I can drive like a penis in the ranger over, but it doesn't do the same thing.

Whereas because the CL is a VA, and it's more like an actual car

than a land yacht like the ranger over is,

you think, I should be able to have some fun in this, but you can't.

with the polybushes aligned, everything.

And we went to lunch, and these guys went,

I'll go in one car and I'll go in the other one.

So I went in the other one in my car

and went on this very bumpy road

and there's some rubbing.

And then I just heard like proper rubbing

and turns out one of the tabs.

Someone had a walkie-talkie next to you.

where the arch liner,

the arch liner mounts had decided to go,

And we also did, we rolled the front arches

so that now they are unable to rub.

which is apparently I've learnt

a very annoying tire size.

Because the tires that were on there previously

were not necessarily the correct tires.

Yeah, some people run,

I think you can go up to 255.

255 is chunky,

but obviously because it's so small tolerances

in the wheel arch,

you can't really run really thick, boys.

So I thought, yeah,

I'll go a little bit stretched

and I'll give myself some more room

and I'll tell you, they look awful.

So I'm now running 225s.

We found photos of 225s of other tire brands

and they didn't look stretched.

Well, they looked a little bit,

but these ones have come out looking...

I mean, before we've mounted them,

they looked a little bit stretchy.

They came off the truck being delivered

and I looked and I was like,

oh, for God's sake,

why am I like this?

Ben was unhappy the moment he saw it.

He was so excited as well.

He was like, my tires are here.

And then we heard,

that's how you know you've been corrupted, Ben,

because what that should have been is a moment of joy

because you would have thought, great,

I can now drive my car with no problems.

But now you're thinking,

I'm going to get bullied here.

It doesn't look that bad.

It doesn't look terrible.

It just looks stretched.

The front actually sort of suits it in a way,

the way that the front sits in the arch.

I mean, the rear needs to come down,

but it doesn't look...

I don't know.

So it looks interesting.

So it's a ruin for those reasons.

It has been a tumultuous week for me.

First things first,

I finally pulled in my Mercedes.

Now, you might remember from many months ago,

I'll dive into this in a video,

so I won't leave too much.

I will leave some of it on the table.

But I had to take my car to a specialist

and for three months it sat.

Nothing happened because they said

there was a part that was not available anymore.

And then they went bust.

I got the car back.

Sorry, then they also went out.

And then I put the car up on the ramp this weekend,

found that they had lost most of my under trace,

which is impossible to find for a C55.

Nice.

The transmission service they were supposed to have done,

they half arsed and everything was held in with hand,

not even hand tight, just hand threaded bolts

and found that the issue was not an issue all along.

I fixed it.

So, you'll see that in a video.

That was very annoying.

So, that's three months I haven't had that car

and I wanted to sell it and it should have been sat.

But is he now coming into daily rotation?

It might have to be because it's the perfect timing.

Today it's node.

And I drove to work in a slammed BTCC style E36.

It wasn't great.

Even without the power to skid, it's still sketchy.

So, and that brings us on to another run.

A friend of ours said,

my mate was thinking of selling his Range Rover Classic.

I said, tell me about this.

It's blue or black.

I said, how fortuitous for me.

And he said, yeah, I think you might sell it.

It's got some work you need to do, but it could be potentially cheap.

Got excited, got very excited.

And then he messaged me and said, yeah, he doesn't want to sell it.

I actually won't.

Because at that point, you then need to offer more.

So, I've decided I want a black Range Rover Classic

for winter and beyond.

that it will be getting a twin 12 inch subwoofer set up in the food.

And normally I phase out here because he's talking about

Joe Rogan starts talking about his tuned Tesla

and then he goes, yeah, that's cool.

He's talking about the Tesla Roadster,

which was this thing they talked about many years ago.

It's coming.

It's going to do 9,000 miles an hour,

not 60 in less than zero seconds and whatever.

But he's now doubled down on that.

He's beyond doubled down on that and saying,

it's still coming.

It's still coming,

but it will be beyond what you've ever thought.

He said, it's basically not even a car anymore.

Okay.

He said, imagine every James Bond gadget,

it's more than that.

He's just going to be driving down the road with

1847s firing out the car.

He kind of hinted at it being a flying car.

Also, I was listening to it.

I was like, look, come on, man.

Because he said, I can't say too much,

but he's thinking there may be a demo

or some sort of prototype or something

to show this year.

Well, sorry, this is November.

We've got like a month and a half

to get this flying space James Bond car.

His employees listening to this?

I'm interested because it's different

to spike the revs

and the windows glide down

to let every decibel in.

Cold outside,

no problem.

It even tweaks the HVAC

and heated seats

so that you can enjoy

the noise and comfort.

So they've thought

We may have mentioned this before

but I wholeheartedly believe this.

The biggest issue, this is my rant of the week,

the biggest issue with people driving

is that no one knows how big their car is.

I did crash into one of our videographers' cars

and that's because of the big raindrops.

We've gone over this, OK?

But what I'm saying is that people on the road,

like you know when you're going into a width restriction

or somewhere for us,

it's what we know the Wiggly Road.

Of course the road from here in between here and the motorway,

which is wiggly and it's very tight.

And I go through there on the way back from the unit

and it infuriates me

because I'm in an X5, a somewhat big car

and there's a person in a Hyundai i10

who's 14 feet from their side of the road

and...

Everyone else is fine.

But I believe that the reason people drive like clowns

is because of the fact that they don't know how big their car is.

And it gets worse at night.

When you send those people out at night

or if light has slightly faded,

if a cloud covers the sun,

some people go...

I can't say a thing.

You know what that is?

It turns into, for them,

I imagine it as either a game

or like Bear Grylls spec

where it's like my current objective is just to survive.

This is going to be a treacherous journey.

And my only goal is that I don't die by the end of it.

I was behind someone in a Tesla recently.

is it slow walkers?

Is it slow walkers that everyone finds very frustrating?

But they stop.

They just stop in place and go,

you're going to have to go past me.

Because I can't walk.

That's someone coming out of the way.

A much bigger person comes towards them

The thing I always think about it is,

okay, at any point in your driving,

has your car grown?

Is it one of those fish things

that you put in the water and they get really big?

Because if your car was within the lines

when you left your house,

it's going to be within them when you get home.

So just stay in them.

And you're fine.

There's typically a regulation on the roads.

Usually the lanes are sort of similar size

wherever you go.

It doesn't just get into like motorbike width

when you get out onto the countryside.

It's just the same.

If you're on an A road where it's kind of single track,

like near where we are,

fine, be a little bit cautious.

That's how I get it.

But if you are on a road with two lanes,

they're called lanes.
