The worst thing people can do when they start out building cars is build them wrong that's true
You know you know there's a lot of obvious things out there
But after watching the news you can say anything is obvious as you want and if you make it hit hard enough people are like
Son of a gun that guy's right
And I want to talk a little bit about some of the car trends that we might think need to stay in
2025 and never come back. Yeah gels. We did this video last year. Yeah, we love doing this video
Yeah, we're almost like, you know end of the year beginning of the year
That time frame that we like to go and talk about this if you guys don't know if we get this, right?
We are profits and if we get it wrong, we're just going to cut this entire segment out of the video
No, we didn't all right. So last year we sat down and did this
We had some things that we expected to die in 2025 and or wanted to just not see anymore one of them being forged carbon. I
Hate to say it. It's still I haven't seen it that much lately
Yeah, I think it's died down, but I still see it around for sure LED everything
I think that has taken a bit of the backseat. It's chill. I think it's I think it's chilled out a bit cool
I've seen under glow still there. It's still around. I do think under glow is great
I love it. It's just when we start getting creative with other places
You can put the bulbs. It was just like rainbow LED literally. We don't need it. I didn't need it. We didn't need it
Starlight headliner that was one that Dakota said though. It was he thought was gonna die and I I'd has I think I think that
Really as big as it used to I think the tic-tac builds got through that era and they're like I ain't ever doing it
I was like it was like the thing it was something to do
For a build that already had so much and I was like, man, I need something to do to my car
Maybe it was like a tic-tac. I need to do something for a video. Oh, I could do this
Well, if you guys have a trend that you think needs to not make it into 2026
Please let us know in the comments below and if you're looking to modify your car magic our martini works comm gels
What else do you got very loud color wraps? So we said like, you know, the really like crazy colors
I'd so I'd say that they're still around
Everything is
Yeah, everything's past style in 25
Brake this was one that you brought up a bragging after a single track day that you're the fastest driver in the world
Oh, I have seen this chill out. Maybe it's just my algorithm
Calmin it all down, but I will say that I haven't seen there's a lot of people that like tried to jump the gun and becoming track
Drivers on on especially on tic-tac because you know like tic-tac is exploded
You know, that was like the next step. Yeah, that was like the next step
So everyone went out there everyone decided that they wanted to race their car
And I saw them never go back. So and finally the last thing we expected to die in 2025 was mirror tint. I
Haven't seen it. I think it I I'm still seeing it especially people's windshield stuff like that
But I'd like to think that it slowed down a bit did I have a we have a good friend of ours Jackson
The he drifts and we were talking about that and he's like dude. I love the way it looks
He had this guilty smile on his face. You know, he's like, I love the way it looks sick
He's like, but you can't see Jack
That thing at night. He's like it was impossible to drive my ass chassis with that and then we of course went into what did we expect to
Be big in 2025 modified SUVs. I think that's still continued to be
a thing throughout 2025
More out-of-pocket lesser known platforms being modified specifically for social media
That was one that you called out. So people moving away from like the quote-unquote cookie cutter builds and platforms. Yeah
Moving into something else. I said more vans. I wanted to see more vans
I think I think we've seen a couple more not as he's seen one to two more
On when I get that was absolutely insane. Yeah, that's true
Dakota you said late 90s and like the y2k era coming back hard like SRT fours cobalt SS
We interviewed some Honda civics and stuff that were like period correct, I would say, okay
Corvettes continue to be cool. I think our vats are still still pretty dang cool
And then oddly enough we we did kind of call out the tariffs and the price increases and that did happen
Damn it. We hit the nail on that on that one. Oh, all right, but that was 2025
Let's look forward to the future a little bit 2026. Oh, we got coming up
Okay, car trends that need to die going into 2026 Alex. What do you have? I feel like a bad tire picks for street cars
That trend needs to die
We have seen so many different cool tire companies over the years and different types of car tires that are made for different purposes
But there has been this like vast oversimplification of what tires to get for your street car
And I think in the era of building cars. I will humbly
Acknowledge that I like when tires look cool like tires can look cool
Yeah, I think and I think that's I think that's sick, you know at the same time
You do have to kind of look at how a tire performs outside of just looking cool
If you plan to do stuff with the tire that you're asking more from it, you know
A Nitto Neo Gen is a really great budget stretchy tire. That's what it's good for
But I've seen people go out there and be like, oh, it makes a terrible track tire
You know and like people are constantly comparing tires like track tires
And it's like it's supposed to be the Neo Gen's not a track tight
It's not meant for that and then I see people that are like man
I just you to did a Liberty Walk build and you know, of course
I put like the best tire on there the R888 and it's like dude that tires like 15 years old
It looks cool. It is not a good tire
I've seen a lot of people talk really big smack about like really big brands like Pirelli and Michelin for not being good tires
When a lot of the times it's like
People didn't warm up the tires
People don't know how to set the proper tire pressure in their car and then they go for a track day for the very first time
Are they doing something like silly like they're purposely upsetting the car and then the tires don't catch them
And then they blame the tires being junky
I would love to see the trend of like people not understanding that tires serve like certain functions
Yeah, I'd love to see that go away fair enough gels. What do you have the first one on my list?
flame tunes and anything similar with that kind of that was a huge thing for a while
I think it's still kind of
Everything for except for non-rotary cars or everything besides rotary car rotaries
If there's one car that just deserves to shoot flames, it's rotaries. Yeah, they get the pass
There's like there's like a couple things that get the pass just like in general like in this world
Like just in things you can say and do and rotaries having a little flame
They get the pass they get the pass. All right. I'm gonna double down here. Okay. All right
We talked about lighting a little bit on the last in the RGB gaming computer cars
This year, I'm saying strobing effects have to stop on lights. It's getting absolutely
It's getting too crazy
I was driving behind a car at Gatt and it was strobing red then green then blue then yellow like all that like the animated
Tail lights. Yeah, it was absolutely insane and then to like it's like the side vents and the dashboards and the interior
A-pillars and it's all going at once and then your cars 85 different colors, too
I think RGB can kind of be okay sometimes
But they're turning into gaming computers and now stuff's flashing and getting too crazy that they're gonna have to put like
Instead of doing a brand wrap, you're gonna have to put like warning epileptic seizures
And stuff on your car really gonna have to have punk is gonna be having a field day inside of that car much enough
I
Would say another one for me is probably like bad roll cages and bad roll bar setups
Like janky safety equipment. Yeah, it's just it's been tricky because I I learned this and I continue to learn this every single time
We install one, you know in the s2000 and the 240z in our next car that we have right here
There's a lot of of of engineering and like science and stuff that goes behind those little chunks of tubes and
Ben's and things like that
It's so much more dangerous, you know installed incorrectly
Then installed at all and sometimes when people go and they put the roll bar in the roll cage in and then they do the harnesses
Like they don't people don't know that that has to be at a certain angle
And if that angle is greater than a certain degree, it'll actually cause
Submarining, you know and that can cause damage to your back and mess you up which sounds like I'm an old grumpy guy
But you know roll cages and roll bars
They don't make anything easier for you like if anything in a car a streetcar, especially they make everything more difficult
Like you you should not want one you should only install one if you have to have I think like I
Know like the whole like type of like street modifications
Like show builds like a lot of that stuff is like derived from motor sports use
Like how can this be a part of like a show thing or just like it's cool because it's used for motor sports
It's like the roll cages the the safety harnesses all that sort of shit like it just doesn't need
To be it's it's tough because a lot of times you're doing it because you want it because it looks cool
And it's it does look cool. I think it looks sick. I think you've got a dope ass car
When your seat belt is looking like this, you know in between the seat that you just installed and
And you you go and you get into an accident
It just you are going to hurt yourself and it is going to be a very painful lesson
And there's a lot of people that have got an accident where they've never fully like recovered from that kind of accident
So if you're gonna install a roll cage or roll bar do it right with good stuff
You know make sure you're you're taking your time on it like with the Z for instance
We had to cut the frame rails and we had to cut the floor of the car to actually make the seats fit in
Regulation to the angle that the harnesses need to be so if I didn't have somebody like Jackson and my just natural
Willingness to cut things out of cars. I would have been like I'm just gonna leave it as is
And then if I would have gotten into a crash my whole back, you know, I look like Robert marine the spine Robert
Not good. I have one that's probably on all of our lists here
And that is the whole counterfeit wheel a.k.a. Alibaba wheel
Oh my god
Listen, I don't want to talk sorry to open a can worms. You're opening a can of worms. We only have 15 minutes
Dakota you want to talk about first before I ramble? No, I mean no
Yeah, I don't want to get into that mess. It's becoming an epidemic and to see people justifying it is getting really bad
The point was like they will die on that hill. Yeah, I
Agree completely though. I think it needs to end. I think you should get your wheels from the manufacturers, you know and trust and not just these
White label ones being made with no specifications and fake stamps on them. I think that's a horrible idea
Yeah, the the thing to always keep in mind is like if you want affordable wheels, they do exist out there
But when you're buying counterfeit bbs's, they're not bbs's they are counterfeit wheels that look like bbs's
They're the same factory. No, no, they're not they're not they're not they're not they're not they're not they just aren't you know
And then you go put bbs center caps in it. I just know that you know like we need to go back to with there needs to be a
Little bit of public shaming. There is nothing wrong
With having an affordability build and there's nothing wrong with with finding ways to save some money
I'm not I'm not doubting that and there are brands out there that deserve the smoke
You know, these are guys that like take what they found on Ali Baba market up eight hundred percent and try to sell to
People like you and people like me and I think those people do get the fire and they should get the shit
But bbs is not doing that guys. No work wheels is not doing that SSR is not doing that like these companies are not
Doing that when you say, oh, well, you know, it's it's it's this, you know, it's the same thing
It's like yeah, but you're taking away from the the ecosystem that allows those companies
To continue to thrive and invest in the grassroots motor sports that they do, you know
Cuz that's that is what they do. So yeah, I agree. This is icky. I don't like it
It's like when somebody doesn't brush their teeth. Yeah, and then you smell their stinky breath
You're like, you know, we got rep wheels happening, but there's also rep wraps that are happening
It's been a plague of I don't know who started it in the first couple were okay
But they're you know the ad van livery with the lines on the rear the car that goes off
It has become so popular and people are running them
I've seen ones that leave the ad van logo with it and they're not even running ad van wheels or Yokohama tires
Nothing, then they just slap that on there. I wouldn't look and I found immediately three cars
I just saw running these ad van wraps or ad van style wraps and again, I thought it was cool
I liked it now. It's becoming way too much and it's like the go-to wrap like I can't think of a livery
I'm gonna do the ad one is super popular. I think because it's easy to do. It's cheap
You only got to do a quarter of your car and it looks cool
But I'm calling you out now too many people have done it. It's done leave it in 2020 before if there's a if there's a
Type of trend that you think doesn't belong
Please add it to the comments below because I'm really interested to see like what other people think gels
Do you add another one? Yeah, this one might this one might ruffle some feathers
But I think it's time for the turbofan style wheels and the covers
There's a reason why gels is sitting on that couch that is the ejecto
I think we have enough options to choose from now. No, we don't we need more turbo fans
No, I want to see more. I want it. You want to know what really want to see
Well, it should go into our next video, but I really want to see more
European wheels on Japanese cars
Instead of Japanese wheels on European cars. I want it
I'd say like there's like that's the GDM style. I want more bbs's on s chassis. I mean I want to see
an American torque thrust on an R34 GTR
With that being said you guys let us know what trends you guys believe should just kind of stay in
The past and of course if you enjoy watching this video, don't forget to subscribe and if you're looking for car parts

Welcome back ladies and gentlemen today. We're talking about something that I think is very important since we're jumping into the new year new
Resolutions we're all go. We're all going to the gym
We're all doing that thing for like the next like week or so until we eventually lift off of it
But I want to talk about something that can last you years upon years of smiles and freedoms that my friends are good cars
To own in 2026 we are
Artificially inflating the values of these cars today ladies and gentlemen guess what we do not I do not look at me in the eyes
I
Don't feel bad. The masses deserve to know that there are good cars out there that do not cost
$20,000. Yeah, and I'm gonna talk about them today, and I'd like you guys to talk about it with me
So if you're if you're here
Drop what you think is going to be a good car in 2026 and of course if you're looking for car parts for said cars
Mod your car with your friends at martini works
Can I start it out? Yeah, go for it. I did a video just a couple weeks. Well, I am you know
I'm I'm about people doing things that are about you staying within a budget
Okay, all right, which is difficult for everybody in today's day and age because everything is expensive
I literally breathe and it's $70
The Toyota MRS really you've come around to that car. I feel you keep bringing an out there around the shop
Here's the problem. You come around. You did not like that car like three years ago. I still don't this is a phase
I don't like looking at it
I do not enjoy the way that it it showcases itself there, but it is a fantastic
Car the the driving experience is ten out of ten the mid runabout sports coop is a really fun
quirky vehicle and because they are kind of the ugly duckling of the
Generations of MR2 that you can buy and technically it's an MRS. It kind of like
Went under the radar in the price cost that you can stag for you can snag them up here
Which is saying something for under $10,000 and you can do engine swaps you can do turbo charge applications
You can do the two ZZ in there and then you get some small wheels and tires like some RPF one some some Toyota proxies
You get some BC racing coilovers and for like sub $14,000 you have what I would probably consider
The closest thing to like a GT4 for like one-tenth the price
I was what year does those do this go up to like early 2000s
Okay, so like 2002 is I think where you'd see most of them. I've seen them go all the way up
I think to 05 but the MRS the reason I kind of prefaced it is because I can say they're a fantastic car
Chat, I just don't think they look the best. They just have a just a just a weird
Look it's like a challenge. Yeah make it look good though. So it's kind of cool
Yeah, I've seen people do like that the eyebrows, you know people like will do eyebrows on big headlights
I didn't help in that no
Because you have to put like four strips of black duct tape to cover enough of that headlight to make
To make it look like a normal yeah
Headlight I think you just accept the fact that it looks ugly and you get into it and you just smile while you drive it
Yeah, that's what you do with that car Dakota. What do you got all right?
I'm gonna start off with probably one you'd think I'd say and then I have one
That's a little more quirky for later, but I'm gonna start with the mark six Volkswagen Golf R
Oh, I did some browsing before we did this video and it's actually kind of unbelievable what you can pick these up for
Obviously now the mark six a little bit older, so they're gonna have a little bit higher mileage, but that's okay
You're getting them for around I seen ones from $7,000. Oh my god to $12,000 listed for a golf R
All-wheel drive turbo charged and the mark six is still a good-looking here. It's not the ugly mark five
so you're getting a great-looking golf R plenty of modifications out there and
The golf R is like a luxurious car too for that price range
You are getting so much car and generally I'd like to think all for our owners take pretty good care of their cars
But a couple cons with that is you're not gonna find one that's stock. It's gonna be hard to find them in general
They're a little bit more of a rare car. He's not lying. Yeah, it's crazy. It's unbelievable what you can find
They're gonna have $12,000 for a freaking golf R. It's so sick
But they do have a little bit more expensive maintenance than your typical
Right Camry, you know, it's you get that European supreme deluxe package of having to spend a little bit more on maintenance and doing some service
But if you do all that and you're willing to bite the bullet on that you have a phenomenal car for 12k
Yeah, I didn't even think about that. That's a great deal
Yeah, it is phenomenal and future me doesn't need to think about future maintenance
Yeah, you're me only needs to be thinking about that and now my purchase. Yeah, worry about maintenance. We got to do it
Yeah, like insurance
Well, that's scary
Um, I actually had a bit of an out there one because I was kind of searching around to and I was like dude
For some reason I got bit by like the s550 bug a little bit. Oh, and it's like the GTs are awesome
They're fucking atrociously loud and they you know, they got a good price to them yet
But the EcoBoost s550s I feel like are a bit of a great little gem
Mm-hmm like the American tuner car right now you can get one like, you know
8200 ish thousand miles probably a little less if you really search for like 15 or 16k and like
So it's like that's not too shabby. Everybody loves those motors that has them. It's like it's like you still get like the really good
I think like s550 is like the best-looking generation most it is really good
I think they look incredible, especially like lowered a bit on some nice wheels and
Like maybe throw a little bit like arrow or something on it. I think they look really really good that NASCAR like duck bill
Yeah, yeah, the fact that like, you know, there's a ton of aftermarket support out there for it from like Cobb and like all these other brands
So you can get them, you know pretty hefty modded now
Obviously, I know like the the EcoBoost stuff has its own kind of stigma around it
But you take decent care of them and you do the right upgrades
I think people say like you want to like, you know upgrade the intercooler and stuff right away
Do the bolt-ons get a tune for it. You're making, you know decent ish power for not a ton of money
And I think that's a really fun platform. We're all drive still. Yeah, everywhere. You can get them in a ton of different colors
I think they're a really good car makes good noises
I was surprised that you know, you can get them for like 13 to 15k right now
Yeah, don't sleep on that that EcoBoost platform, you know, what else is slept on?
What's that? You know what else is controversial in nature?
You know what else I would consider myself a changed man on and I've talked about this car in the past
And I'll continue to talk about it until they're $25,000 and I get it on TC. It's not
But let me be clear. That was a great pick. It is honest. It is. All right. Yeah, I got another one for you
Gels is already with me even though he doesn't even know what does I mean? Mazda are excited now. We're fucking talking
Our fuck should have waited you should have sold it after he brought it up on the video
Exactly. I'm telling you the Mazda Rx8 is a is a difficult pickle to understand
But it is rewarding in all the right senses if you have ever talked to somebody that owned an air-cooled Porsche 911
Before they were expensive. They tell you the same thing if you talk to anyone who's owned like an old
Carbureted motor and like an old them. They'll say the same thing. It's a little tricky
But man, is it fun to drive you go out there and you listen to these people before these cars become
Acinine expensive that's probably not the right word for that tone
But anyway that becomes ultra expensive
It always starts out with the cars naturally have a very unique like quirk or feature about it
True and to me the Rx8 and the engine and the 13b right 13b. That's in it. That's it like
They need to be rebuilt which is fine. It takes work
It takes a little bit of money, but if you know and you're willing to get your hands dirty and you're willing to take your time with it
They drive fantastically. They love to be revved to the moon. They have great weight distribution
I think they're one of the most iconic and timeless looking cars from the
2000s out of like everything that was made in the 2000s looks 2000s and but it looks good
Like it's actually the later gens clean up the headlights clean up the tail lights
Put on some like work D9 ours if you have a s1 get rid of that bumper
Yeah, lower it and make it that a little bit aggressive look and dude
I think they're great cars and not only that
They're so affordable. They are get some you can get them you can get them for like under six
You can get nice ones. I bought mine for six
Yeah, you can get nice thousand miles for under ten and then you can get even like fully built like track ones for like under
$15,000 like when I was at VIR just last year
The Rx8 was a one to three to every Mazda Miata that was there
I mean the car's platform is super popular right now in grassroots and amateur racing because of the value per dollar
You get if I were to get into like some sort of track driving
I would a million percent go get another Rx8 one because it can't fit a Miata and two
I feel like I would just have more fun with it
Yeah, plus it's a four-door coupe and I think that's fucking sick. I never heard Alex talk nicely about the RxA until you get rid of it
All right next up I'm staying the hatchback route, but this one's a little more quirky
And I'm gonna go ahead and say it's not on any of your radars. Okay, it's the Volvo C30 T5 R
You thought I'm just kidding
I don't even know that is hear me out. It's front-wheel drive. Love it or hate it. I don't care. That's dope
And then it's an inline five turbo charged. They do love little hot hatch. It's so good
It is quirky looking I still think it looks cool the rear ends a little bit
The window comes down like really weird and like the back. Yeah, it has a big old window
Okay, I got you there. Yeah, yeah, yeah, but yeah, it's sick with Volvo
It's again you get that European kind of luxury interior versus like with Japanese cars. They're really dope
But then you get inside and you're like, oh my god
They haven't changed this for 40 years. Yeah. Yeah, so with this you get a little bit more of the high-end stuff
Some cons are again, this is gonna be a little bit trickier of a car to find
But if you do they they range from like seven to 15k so super good price on them, but then probably the
Modifications are gonna be a little bit harder to find as well just because it's a niche car
But you can still slap some wheels on it lower it and then you have an inline five turbo charged car for 10k
That none of your buddies have true guaranteed. Yeah, so I've never had one
So I don't want to just be speaking from no experience here
So I did some dig and I did some research and I found the forums of the owners the few the proud the C30 owners and
They said
They were so jazz I was reading the third no, I love this car. This is the best car ever
Yeah, it is I can't believe we're gonna keep these forever, right, but yeah, are we best friends? Yeah, we're best friends
That's the forums for the C30. I've never seen anything like it
So if you're interested in this car, it looks like it's a good long-term buy
Do your general maintenance on it and it'll treat you well a couple little quirky issues like maybe the sunroof leaking and stuff like that
But overall, it's gonna be a reliable good car for you damn
Yeah, I do this one again, I I
Think it's a decent thing
It's a little like it's not as budget-friendly as that but it's one of those ones where it's come down in price in the last few years
And I think it's at a solid price point right now for the car that it is and that's the Nissan 370Z
That's a good over the 350 because if it were like last year
I would still probably say the 350 but the fact you go find a really nice
370z manual for like 15k right now is insane
That is such like a lot of car for that money. You're getting some pretty decent power out of that engine
It's rear-wheel drive. It's
Especially like the like the later years of it like it could still fit in as like a new car
It turns head stock and even and even though like people are like, oh you're using your horsepower, you know the 3.7
It's naturally aspirated. It's so nice to have the reliability of a naturally aspirated motor and the power is right there
Still has power like that's what made the 350z such a great drift cars
Like you didn't have to do anything to it and you could still drift the 370z pretty much the same way
And it's like the 350s became like so popular because they were at a like pretty decent price point
It's like now all of them like not all of them
But like a lot of them and like so run-through and like they're really getting up there in miles
They're really getting up there in age
They've been through however many owners thrashed all that sort of stuff and it's like for just a little bit more now
Because if you go to find like a nice really clean example through 350z
You're probably spending only like five grand less that you could get into a 370 right now 100%
And I think they were a little more taking care of yeah in the 370s because the prices were the prices were just you know
Yeah, putting them out of reach when I was uh like just out of high school and looking deep into the car scene
370z was definitely one that was up there
But never attainable because it was so expensive at the time
But now we're in the golden day in age where they've come down and you can scoop them up for a good price
Yeah, so I I'd say that's another solid pick if you've like I said if you're looking like I want a z1 of the 350z
We couldn't find a good one. It's like, you know
Maybe go try to find maybe a little higher mileage like 370 that like it's been like the same owner
But they've just loved it. I bet that car's taken care of
Beautifully and you're gonna have a much better time with it's a little more updated even though talking about cars
I've stayed the same for the last 40 years like it's still the same
But it's like it's still newer like it still has some newer amenities to it
You're talking like 20, you know mid 2010s versus 2004. Yeah, like there's a big advancement in stuff there
So you guys have to let us know what you think is the car to pick up

Breaking news, how good was that? That's been a minute. That was that was okay. Okay. I have never watched it still
Even after all of the bullying that you both have given me. Um, yeah, I know there's still time
I just I can't do it. All I know is that one and when the guy's like
And he's like doing a sit-up. He said what chrome. Oh, yeah. Yeah
SpongeBob put some respect on his name squidward never heard to squidward referred to as that guy
I mean, he is him
Bless you. I relate more and more squidward every day. Yeah, that's I think we all are pressing. All right, so the clarinet breaking news
I want to start this off with a preface
If I could okay, okay, because I talked about this subject on my personal instagram
Oh gosh, and the video did really great. I think it's at like
400,000 views
And I'm like, I don't I don't check my numbers on instagram often
But I check them every once in a while to see if like there's any
Uh relation to the numbers and the things that I post right and so I went out there and I was like looking at
my engagement rate
Um audience size stuffs like that and I saw like my followers go like this and then all of a sudden just go
And come back and I'm like, oh my god the hell did you do there?
What did I post on that day?
And I went back
And it was
That video but the video did really well and I'm like, why would people unfollow me because of the video?
Well, the video is about
president donald trump
essentially staying in a news article fashion that he has immediately approved the production
Of k trucks and cars in america. Please don't unsubscribe. Please don't unsubscribe
Because this has nothing to do with the political stuff. I don't want anything to do. I don't want to talk about that
I'm not about that. I don't care about that. I don't really even want to touch it. Like a 10 foot pole would need to be
Still sanitizing a thousand feet
Long for me to even get on that. Um, but seriously, uh, this this is news
it's breaking news because
Apparently the chief department guy
Was uh, not prepared for him to say that on live television and you can watch his face. He's like
Wait, what? But yeah, so, uh, apparently what they're going to be rolling back are some of the regulations and restrictions around
The production of k cars and k trucks in america
Now that's a good thing
For people who like the tiny trucks and tiny cars because there are a lot of lobbying and amva regulations that state
That state shouldn't allow people to own said. Why?
Why can't we own them? So two fold number one?
The the real reason is because you know, those things are not real fast
And our highways are fast and even in japan you can drive a horse and buggy in
What's the problem here if I can get a Honda grumb? Yeah
I know I can't take that on the highway. I'm not taking it on the fucking highway and you have successfully already thwarted the argument
Congratulations. You are as smart as the united states
So but people I think a lot of people are hoping that this like rolls back to you know, it's old k cars and k trucks and
I don't know if it really will um, I also want the cute little cars
Please keep talking like that because the trucks don't unsubscribe
Please god, don't do that. We're not talking even though I can't fit in them. I still like to see him
He did he called him cute little cars called k cars. I think we're his exact words
In that they are really hard to fit in. He's cute little cars
Just like that was funny. Um, but no, it really is meant to it could be a thing for us to
Um
See more production of smaller sized vehicles in America because I
Because they're still making them and they're still
Kind of cool and honestly, I don't think there's anything wrong with them
Nissan sent me a leaf a few months ago and honestly, I can see why they're kind of just good at what they do
They're just a functional
Small little vehicle to get you from point a to point b
Doing with a leaf. I don't know what I was doing with the leaf, bro
Nissan drive that for like a day Nissan email me like, yo, we're driving off a leaf. I'm like, why?
I'm like because we just thought you might want to try it. I'm like
That's cool. All right, and nissan was like, hey try our car. It was cool. I like what nissan is doing speaking
Oh, what about like a r35? What if you drop that on tax to be crazy?
I will say the part that made me giggle is they use obviously
Um in the world of automotive journalism, they have essentially marketing agencies that partner with vehicle manufacturers
Yeah, and then they house hundreds if not thousands of vehicles at a time these agencies
That's all they do is ship cars out bring cars in
Rinse and repeat and they act as an intermediary so that the vehicle manufacturer doesn't have to worry about it
So they're doing business with all sorts of manufacturers. So when they drop the vehicle off, they were in a
Prius, I think um, which was whatever, you know, that's cool kind of messed up. Yeah, but whatever that's a competing brand
Yeah, but I'm not I'm telling nissan. I'm telling nissan. I'm telling nissan unless you send me an r35
Then I won't say anything and so then I'm like, okay, whatever. So I go and throw the neatly for a week
um
And then they came to pick it up
And they picked it up in a brand new
matte black
BMW m5 touring what are they doing over there fully decked like fully decked out. That's sick red interior
carbon fiber everything
massive wheels and I'm like
So which one of you has to drive the leaf?
He's like we rock paper scissors. I was like, oh, that's stinky. Anyway, speaking of nissan
According to reports nissan will double its nismo lineup and teases mystery
nismo only sports car
Nismo only sports car. Yeah, they want 10 models within the nismo lineup by 2028
Or what? I almost wonder. Yeah, because like that. I think it is like its own thing kind of right now
How would it be? Yeah, that's what I was trying to think. I mean nissan don't have to do something new
Well, and they said nismo lineup, right? So what car do they currently?
nismo leaf
Oh god, they're bringing the juke back
They already have nismo juke. I know
And they already have the nismo anything
So obviously the z. Yeah
Well that already exists
They already
The armada
There's more armada. That's crazy
What I mean, they then armada is already one of them. Wait, really? Yeah, they already have it nismo
I didn't know that trim. That thing's gotta be fucking huge. It is
quite large
I'm driving driving the armada pro 4x or whatever in los vegas. I was like, man
I'm like a train. This is like stock. This is stock height
Bro, I could I could early. I could take some people out in this. They don't need anything that big, but I'm glad they did it
because it's kind of sick
Armada
Are you saying it like that? I've never heard of I came picture what one looks like. Yeah, we out
What we saw one the other day
And we were out and about oh, okay, we're like goddamn that thing's huge. It's a suv just a huge suv
Well, have you seen the infinity qx 80? Yeah, those things are huge, right?
The Nissan version of that armada a good name for like a huge suv. Yeah armada like armurda tank armurda tank. Yeah
I feel like it's anyway. I feel like it's supposed to more so sound like armada waiting for the nr 35
All right. Well, we're done talking about that cameras doesn't look like one drop off
Let's talk about waiting. Let's talk about rich people for a second. Yeah, all right, so boring. I know don't unsubscribe
I
Don't think we have to worry about that
So we're literally sitting here and I was looking at this article because you know how everybody's like man listen
I need
manuals
We need a we need to keep manuals going
Okay manuals are dying because people don't know how to drive cars the rich
We need people the real driver is driving like Matthew McConaughey. Is this the rich people? I don't you can put saying this
Um, uh the internet. Okay. I mean, I agree with them. I'm just trying to get context. So lamborghini
offered
the revonton or revonton
revonton
With a gated manual sick. That's dope, right sick. Yeah, or you could get the e-gear. Okay. So you get one or the other
Choices are important to rich people
Nobody chose the gated manual
Like no one not a no one not a single one not a single one
So can I go get one for really cheap since they're just sitting on the lot then no
Yeah, they're trying to get rid of them. There's just
Give them a way to people. Well, then I guess they don't want to sell them that bad
That's crazy though
Yeah, it's true. That sucks. How could not one person like doesn't j leno buy every car or something
Why isn't he getting the gated manual like the gated like gaiardo and like mercy lago
Like those were such like sought after cars. I can't believe that they're like hey
We brought the gated manual bag and no one would have bought it. I don't think did okay. Have they sold any of these cars period?
Oh, I would like to know this hills. I don't know the history
Is it like 5 000 sold and all of them are the fucking no wait or none sold
I stumbled across a fun fact website page. Let's go. Can we can I go through this with you guys?
Hopefully they're not all AI and fake. Oh god. No
Jalapnick, don't do me like this. Okay. So you guys ready? Yes. Okay
Um, hold on. Hold on. I gotta get to the car dude. Are these still the rich people? No, no, no, this is all
Oh, thank god
The world's largest tire manufacturer. Oh, sorry. The world's largest manufacturer of tires
is lego
Yeah, wait what?
Yeah for the little little rubber tires for lego
Legos still that's crazy
Alpina uses 20 spoke wheels because it meant they didn't have to alter the wheel designs between four and five stud lug patterns
Because 20 is divisible by both four and five
interesting
Okay, that's fun. The delara so are a lot of so are a lot of
No, no, they're not never mind. Yeah, think about it. Say what you thought out loud gels
I did the math quick good math
The delara stradale takes its tail lights from the outie q7
But instead of taking the main units it uses the auxiliary units in the bumper that activate when the tailgate is open
On the q7 is what they use. That's cool. I heard the new ups trucks use old mobile headlights. Do they really?
I don't know someone made a post about it looked pretty looked legit to me
Audi does a good job with their I need the I need the crowd to fact check me because i'm just reading
I'm just reading broad right now. No, just just rapid fire multiple day. We'll models were rejected designs from fiat and jaguar
I remember growing up and like when uh
I first started like watching mighty car mods
They made the day woo sound really cool
And I kind of wanted one of them I was like heartbroken when I realized that we didn't get them here
My mom got a day. Woo. That's sick. Had a day. Woo. Is that like that weird golden color? How the hell did she get that?
Yeah, I was gonna say because there was a day woo
There's literally a day woo dealership next to the mazda dealership in osseo
In between o'clair and chiple falls
day woo day woo
What I've never heard of anyone buying a brand new car from a day
That's crazy. Osseo had a high demand
Also really random fucking town, dude. I know
It made no sense Claire
It was like it was it was it was the part as a child in between when you recognize you were still not to chiple falls
And you were depressed
Yeah, because it take it used to take so long to get there because the highway wasn't there yet
So you had to take all those tiny little roads on the bag
They're only 45 miles an hour took you forever on the left hand side was a fucking boat company boat dealership on the right
Was another boat dealership a farm and fleet
Not even a fleet
Uh, uh, uh, what was the what was the what was the breakfast joint that had the cow?
Henkels
I don't know
Heckles it was heckles. My memory is so good. We only went to old country buffet. You
Hey, we have a we don't talk about dealership in town. I think that's pretty fucking weird a what a sob dealership
That's cool. It's so weird. There's like dozens of people that buy those every year
Uh, so the headlights for the dodge viper mark one were originally meant for the bmw z one
Interesting, okay
The first car to have apple car play was the ferrari ff
The first car
Hyundai's have four dots on the steering wheel because that's the letter h in morse code
Where are the blind people can drive? I don't know brother
Don't let the
Revoke that license
Honestly with some of the people I see driving to work. I believe that the blind are driving now
It's insane. It's gotten so bad. I think everyone's driving staring at their phones now
Fuck it. Let the blind drive. They probably could do better. I'm not gonna lie. They have heightened senses. Don't they like
Hearing and smell they could probably figure it out
Dude everyone's glued to their phone now. It's so bad. I almost get an accident every day
I pen in an accident. Fucker is probably on his phone
He had two working eyes. He still hit me
Let him drive
I can't
I'm sorry about that one. That was the it was the opportunity. It was there and I took it. Oh my god, okay
Wait, you said morse code. I thought you meant braille
I didn't catch that either. We went off on that whole tangent. It was completely irrelevant
Fuck well, I mean morse code is just like braille for hearing, right?
I want you to think about what you just said. I know what I said. I want you to say that again
Anyway, we need to move on from this topic. Let the deaf people drive. Yeah, they're fine. There's a
Nissan Juke Nismo RS that is based on the mark for Renault Clio RS
With the key difference being that the juke was offered with the manual gearbox and the Clio wasn't
I hate the juke the 1998
Pugot 206 is still being produced in iran today
And the Subaru Impreza 22B takes his name from 555 and hexadecimal code
A nod to the tobacco brand 555 that sponsored Colin McCrae during his time at Subaru
So it's called 222 because 555. This is what I got
I'm not listening to the guy that thought braille and morse code
Yeah, I'm he just accepted it
That's the same thing as like if you're reading with your finger and the bumps I see where you're at
I see we're going it's similar same same but different. Yeah
Scott look at that
Vine energy kind of response. Anyway with that being said, I think it's time we take a small break and we hope you guys and gals
Enjoy your holiday break. I'll take a break for about a week or so the next
Yeah, because I can't do this anymore
But hey, hopefully, you know christmas centers are filled with nice
Wide overarching comfortable conversations that in no way reflect
You know narrow mindedness of your older family members that definitely are going to cause you to probably want to leave the room and throw yourself off the second floor
But that my friends that's what the holidays are all about. True. You know, you know, it's what you got some car parts
