for that because it can't be ignored
anymore.
People need to have a plan in place,
a five year plan to show
where they're going to be in 2030
and how they are actually
tackling their carbon,
their carbon output.
And the one thing
that we skipped over there.
So we do have a special feature
that's going to be happening each day.
We have a unique collaboration
between Maeser,
just dumb, he's a famous
stubborn street artist,
Cooper and Nivo.
And in the center of the show,
there's going to be an immersive
stand that's been custom built
by Maeser and in collaboration
with Cooper.
So we it's just one of these
things that you're going to have
to come along on the day to see.
It's going to be there
and Maeser will be doing a talk
about sustainability
and how art is a vehicle for change
that will be happening
at a quarter to on the Friday
and it will be happening
around the same time again
on the public day,
which we'll talk in a second.

day, while all that's going
on the Bank of Ireland stage,
all the presentations,
there's also I'm going to be over
on the ESP live demo area
throughout the day,
going through commercial vehicles
and doing a live
in person Derek review
with some product experts
from those companies
in that live demo area.
So there's going to be lots
of interest in that
and you might be interested in
you've seen all these great cars.
You've got a fleet of company
vehicles and you might want to
take some for a test drive.
There will be test drives
available on the day as well
with our partner SSE

experience zone.
So it's not just walking in
looking at some cars and vans
and heading out the road again.
There's a lot of stuff
happening on the day.

mixture, ESP cars.
It's a really strong mixture
of every all aspects
of the industry
are talking
on the early stages
of panels
to help people
understand on day to day
EV driving
and what it means
to go electric
and how they can
actually tackle it.
And then we're back
into the energies
kind of section of it.
So in the business day
we have the Smart
Energy Grids
and what we're doing
in the middle segment
of content is we have
Home Smart Energy
and again
delivered by SSC electricity
and activate
we will see people
from SCI.
We'll see people
from E power.
We'll see people
from my energy.
So we'll have people
from the different
charging companies,
home charging companies
so they'll be there
to ask the more residential
and domestic kind of questions
and help people
understand any
the I suppose debug
any of those myths
that are out there
about charging cost
and really address
the most important thing is
like what is the day
running cost
on EV
and how it stacks up
way more beneficial
than our traditional
forms of transport.
Because it is slightly different
because it would
a petrol or diesel
and carry it's a petrol station
that you go to
whereas with an EV
charge you can charge at home
you can charge in the office
if you've got solar etc.

is the future of EVs
and this is going to be
chaired by Michael
Macalera from the Irish Times.

really excited to see them
at the show.
I suppose we'll talk about
new brands
are going to show
with everyone
from Joe Malin.
We've got Volvo Spirit again.
We've got Paul from Paul Linder.
It's always great
to have Paul at the event.
And I suppose
he's a long standing
franchise business in Dublin.
And I suppose it's for him
to come in and talk
about his experience
in the market
how it's changed over the years.
So, yeah, it's really, really cool.
And we have BMW in there as well.
So there really is
all of the brands
and everyone is represented,
be it they're on the panel
discussions or across the show.
And it's supposed to highlight
every single car brand
that's available
in the industry
is at the Nevo show.
And we are very excited
that we're also very, very
excited to announce
that we will have
the likes of Leaf Motor
for people to public
for Jenny to get up
and close with the new brand.
We also have Kia.
So some some brands
actually have two stands
at the show.
So we have Kia
who will have their
general cars at it.
But Kia, as a lot of people
know, have now moved
into the commercial space.
So the new PV five
is going to be there.
We also have Verizon.
That's going to basically there,
which is a new electric
commercial van.
We also have Max
is going to be there
with their new vans.
And then we have
the traditional brands
like Volkswagen commercials.
Skoda, Skoda.
We have
en the in the commercial space.
I'm trying to think
who else can be there with Vans.
So Ford will be there
with some bands.
Opel, Pujo.
Yeah, Pujo.
So it really is.
There will be a whole host
of the bands there on the Friday
and then to switch
and choose to the public
for the passenger vehicles
on the Saturday.
So we have a brand
new brand Cadillac.
First time.
We know that we are
going to forget them.
But we have been
shocked about them.
But we wanted Charles
Hurst to announce it
themselves first,
but you will see a bit more
that in our socials
over the next coming days.
But Cadillac, first to Ireland
and first time being able
to see them at the Nevo show.
It's going to be a huge.
It's going to be great to see.
Yeah.
And then let's get into, I suppose,
some really exciting cars
that are coming over.
So we were
delighted when Pujo contact
was during the week to say
that one of the only
Pujo G
there's a 208 GTI.
It's going to be
it's being shipped in
especially for the Nevo show.
So that's going to be
delivered to the event
and will be on show
across the two days.
We're very excited to have that.

which is very exciting.
There's a big story behind that
because it completely changed
the way the manufacturer vehicles
and just how they've changed
the whole business model
and this is a new era
for BMW.
So we're very interested
to hear about that.

first time it's going to be

That's a beautiful one as well.

a bit of a assignment now.

I am looking forward to seeing that.
And we'll not let Simon talk about

but the PHEV BYD shark.

BYD stand a little bit.
Because that's the shark

have a 7 vehicle
set up at the back of the show
in the main area.

It's the first time it's come to Ireland
and it's an impressive four by four
style pick up and PHEV.
So we're very interested in that.
There will be a couple of PHEV
scattered around the room,
but I suppose the main focus
will be towards the bebs.
But there is a nice balance there
so to kind of suit everyone.
But the big thing for the show
is that it's everything
from the new hot hatches,
which are really a big craze
at the moment, the small
to sub 25 category.
The family SUVs.
We have Lexes and BMW there
with more luxury SUVs
and let's not forget about Porsche
that will be there.
Then we've got Tesla
and so like to really is
an EV or vehicle there for everyone.
And we will also have, I suppose.

Simon stats route
yesterday and great
to see that EV sales
up again year
on year,
month on month.
And so I'm going
to quickly run
through those as well.
So the EVs
are up 34%
versus October of 2024.
PHEVs down 5%,
which is the first time
in a while
versus October, 2024.
Petrol sales down 33%
diesel sales down 31%
and hybrid sales down 15%.
Electric was the most popular
fuel choice in October
of all vehicles sold.
Nearly 50%
of all vehicles sold
had a plug socket on them
with one in three cars
being fully electric.
Year on year,
electric vehicles
are up 39%
and so far this year
EVs are more popular
than diesel.
That's been a trend
since back in August.
PHEVs are up 53%.
Top five models
for October 2025
in first place
was the Kia EV4.
Second place
with the BYDC Line 7.
Shkoda Ennyak
in third place.
Fourth place,
the Tesla Model Y
and then fifth place
the Ford Explorer.
So great numbers,
great stats there
from Simei
and the October
2025 sales numbers.
I'm just looking back
year on year
but also
month to month
October last year
versus October this year.
As mentioned in the
show preview
we were chatting about
the fact that we have
Cadillac launching
in Ireland
and that's what
they're being imported
by the Charles Hurst Group.
And so the Charles Hurst Group
based out of Northern Ireland
but they do have a footprint
with Audi South Dublin
here in Dublin
and so what we're going to be seeing
is the Cadillac dealership
there in South Dublin
in Sandyford
and they're going to be at the show
for the first time
and they're going to be
with launching their
electric range
in Europe.
Cadillac is only going to be
coming in electric
so we're going to start seeing
the Optique,
the Lyric
and the Celestic
at the show.
They are bringing
two of the three of those
and so make sure you pop
that they're going to be bringing
the Lyric and the VISTIQ.
So but they're both days
beautiful cars,
premium electric SUVs.
I would have seen them
at the Paris Motor Show
over a year ago
and so there is a video up
on the channel
if you're interested in that.
