We are going to be live for the next 60 minutes talking about all the EVs

that are coming new to the market on top of over 100

that are already in the marketplace here in Ireland.

Also, I want you to jump into the comments and let me know

I think they've got a European footprint now as well

in the Netherlands, if I'm not mistaken.

So fingers crossed, we are starting to get it in Europe.

And I think what there are more European sized models,

And if we go to get a gauge as to where we're at,

are we at the more affordable end of the market?

Oh, great question.

What do you think the most popular EV for the new year,

the BMW iX3, beautiful car,

will be in the hundreds.

I just don't know if it will break the thousand markets,

just premium SUV.

And so it's going to be interesting to see that.

But I think we're probably going to see

something on the more affordable side of things.

phenomenal focus from Volkswagen Ireland group there

with regards to what was happening in 2025.

They're focused on fleets.

They focus on company buyers, company drivers.

And so what will be in 2026?

I think here going to be coming very strong again.

EV3 was the third most popular.

And just with more models coming in such a big lineup,

it's going to be a great place as well as Hyundai.

So yeah, iX3 does look very good

and we will be chatting about that in the deck.

So phenomenal 35% increase on the previous year.

So phenomenal growth and interest in going electric

and we're starting to see that used car market

getting stronger and stronger as well.

So lots of new EV drivers out there.

Lots of choice, lots more charging points as well.

So maybe I'm mad

but I currently have a Renault Scenic EV

but I'm really tempted by BYD SEAL.

BYD SEAL looking good as well.

I see in the Chinese market

I think they're starting to show an updated BYD SEAL

so have a look at that if you're thinking about going first.

We might get that proposed at the end of the year

but maybe this year would be perfect for you.

Great car, we love it.

Instacross is now available.

3K for front camera, sunroof and new style tires.

Saw it Monday up close, not sure it's worth it

but a good choice, but more choice is good for sure.

I saw the Instacross at the Brussels Motor Show last year

so we're going to be seeing that in a couple of weeks as well.

First weekend of January.

what we're going to be chatting about tonight.

We are starting off and this was mentioned in last year's

EVs coming in 2025

but fingers crossed we're going to get them in 2026.

We have Alfa Romeo

and the electric Julia and Stelvio

supposedly coming this year.

We also already have the Alfa Romeo Junior.

We also have the Hybrid Tonale

and so will we get a Julia and Stelvio

in 2026 potentially

based on that STLA medium platform

that the rest of the slantus group was using.

Good platform, good size batteries,

charging curve sometimes can be a bit funny

but for a long distance

always make sure that that charging curve

is good enough for you

but would be great to see another SUV

and saloon coming into the EV marketplace.

So would you think an Alfa Romeo, Julia

or Stelvio would tick your box

that the Junior

one of the most beautiful looking EVs

and I had the Junior

and the Junior Valace, that hot hatch

on the channel this year

so if you haven't seen those videos

both the Alfa Romeo Junior and Stelvio

potentially coming to the electric world

in 2026.

Moving on from Alfa then

we are looking at Alpine

and we are going to be starting to see

the Alpine A390 coming in 2026

we would have had the Irish launch of this

at the Neva Electric Vehicle Show in November

so beautiful car, indicative prices

in around that 80 to 85,000 euros

MBB platform from what I can see

it will be based on the MBB plus platform

hearing rumours, seeing rumours

seeing camouflaged vehicles like this

you can start to see where Audi

at the moment their smallest electric offering

is the Q4 e-tron

and so looking to come down into that

wider price bracket

but people looking at the more premium

electric and you can see with the success

of the likes of the Lexus LBX

there are premium buyers

out there for smaller cars

and smaller electric cars definitely

and so the

Audi A3

EV potentially

get a bit more sunlight on it

2026

then we got to have a look at this

at the IAA in Munich

and this is the concept C

from Audi

beautiful the all electric TT

absolutely

gorgeous can I make that bigger

so that you can actually see

yes you can

just everything

yes all of us beautiful

absolutely gorgeous

that designer coming from

the Jaguar house so you can start to see

where they're looking at

bringing in that design

this year it's on the Neue Klasse

it's going to be part of that new

infrastructure underneath

and also then the steering wheel

and so yeah absolutely gorgeous

a lot of videos up on the channel

the ix3 static

and also the drive of it

so yeah there's going to be a lot of these on the road

you're going to see a lot above them as well

so definitely keep an eye out

for the BMW ix3 coming

in 2026 landing in Irish shores

in March

there's a date Ashley mentioned when we were on the

press trip

21st comes to mind

but BMW ix3 what else will be coming

from BMW in 2026

we're going to get first

look at the BMW i3

this is a render from auto trader

can't reveal what the exact looks

of it are at the moment

but that will be coming in a couple of months as well

the electric 3 series

I have a fondness for the BMW i3

that would have been one

we are going to be looking at

as well with that DMI technology

I just don't know if we're going to get the Atto 2

with the Dolphin

they are getting a lot of the BYD

right hand drive stuff a bit earlier than the European market

and this may be rendered

on the back of the

having to submit the patent

you can see that C pillar hasn't got that design

a lot of people were interested and it's got a darker interior

and get people into them and the price is right as well.

So fingers crossed on that.

based on that ampere small platform

and the top trim was 30,000 pounds.

It's a lot of care for the money.

So the jacu e5, no confirmation

of whether it's coming to Ireland.

Just a lot of talk about it.

This is part of the cherry motor group.

And so it has jacu on one side

and then it has a moda o Mada Mada.

On the other side,

they both have a Mada five and e5

and then jacu five and e5.

They don't do combustion

and they both do electric.

This is not just an electric CHR.

This is a longer, bigger car,

bigger battery.

And so this and the BZ are the same price.

BZ is bigger.

It's a D segment.

CHR Plus is a C-class segment,

but it has more range because it's not as bigger car.

So, more range or more car,

you decide the same price.

And I did the live demo.

I had to drive it over back to the Toyota stand

and I never forget

like there was about 100 people watching me

doing this maneuver.

Myself and Justin Delaney made sure it was safely done

and I literally opened the passenger setting

beside me and went,

I'll take the first one off you.

Okay.

So, CHR Plus,

you're going to start to see these on the road

in 2026.

This is going to be a big car for Toyota

as well as the updated BZ.

I've also like an ID polo.

In 2026, we're going to see more of it.

Specs are out.

Just haven't seen the car yet.

They've gone away from the ID up ID for all

all that kind of stuff.

They've come back with the original name plates.

So, this is going to be the ID polo.

Moving on to Volvo S90.

Gorgeous.

I didn't get an Irish junket

out to the test drive of this.

I got the launch in Gothenburg last March

when Jim was still CEO.

We are also this year going to see

the Volvo EX60.

This is the most popular car for Volvo.

So, having it coming in electric form,

this is going to be, if it's priced for well,

this is an important car for Volvo

and an important car for people who want to go electric

in that size premium side of things.

Is polo too late to market?

I think Volto second or two years behind the game.

Anyway, unfortunately,

between what they're doing now,

I D4 bestselling EV in Ireland this year.

So, what do I know if it's price right?

People are just buy it.

And I know the amount of people who have bought them.

I have cousins.

I have friends of family who bought ID fours used.

They're delighted with it.

So, here we go.

Toyota BZ.

Do they have an estate?

Yes, yes they do.

I don't know if we're going to get it in 2026.

A Subaru do a version of it as well.

And the warranty is what people love about that Toyota.
