Every team, every topic, everywhere. This is Belize.
Hello guys, welcome to Shift and Steer. It's a little bit different show today. And before we
get started, a quick shout out to our friends at FanDuel. March Hoops is heating up this weekend.
I'm eyeing some underdog value in the early NCAA tournament. You know, there's a couple of tight
spreads in the NBA slate on Friday night as well. If you're going to ride, ride with FanDuel,
the official sportsbook partner of making games way more fun. Must be 21 and over and present
in select states. Gambler problem, call 1-800-GAMBLER. All right, so Brad is out today. He mentioned
before that, sold his mom's house. He's got Brad's stuff to do. He's got Brad's stuff today. So it's
just you and me, Aaron, holding down the fort. You mean he's not working on his Chevelle? He's
not actually... No, he's not allowed to work on the Chevelle until he moves all this stuff out of
Arizona first. I mean, when I say all this stuff, just his mom's house, he still has a warehouse
full of stuff out there. But the Chevelle is... I imagine probably still in the planning phase,
but also, I think if we remember correctly, he got the car and a bunch of stuff, but he didn't
fully get everything. I think he needs to bring the frame back. Did he put a frame? Yeah, I think
he still needs to grab the frame or something. Yeah, there's a lot more. It's funny, we start
the show off with the Chevelle. I can't help but think of my friend Colby that said, he messaged
me a couple shows ago. He goes, dude, if I hear anything more about that old man Chevelle, I'm
going to drive my car right into a tree because he listens to the show while he drives. He gets so
annoyed because he's not a Chevelle guy. He's not a classic muscle car guy. He's like,
talk about Porsches. Talk about something interesting, not that Chevelle.
Okay, talk about Porsches. So Colby, that was for you, just to start off your driving day with
Chevelle News. Well, if he's a Porsche fan, he must be familiar with Magnus Walker.
Oh, yeah. And Magnus is thinning out the herd. He's selling a whole bunch of his cars. He's
not selling everything and people are getting all heated up about it. What's happened? What's
going on? Did he get in a fight with Porsche? Is he sick? I was like, no, man, he just had a bunch
of cars. He had a bunch of cars. He wants to change it up a little bit and I don't know,
maybe he wants to invest in something different. Maybe he wants to reduce the space, the
Haggerty Build or whatever his insurance bill is. Yeah, like, what is he doing? Every time I see a
post, he's painting another panel or he's making all these little fun cars, but it's like, yeah,
it's he seems to have a lot of very colorful cars right now. Yeah, so and because he was
he was into that urban outlaw thing that that he really kind of turned into a brand, whether it
was, I don't know how much he's created and how much of that term was out there, but he's created
into a brand and I like Magnus a lot. And so a lot of his cars are sort of personalized and
modified in different ways and multiple colors and wraps and stuff like that. But then he's got
some very good, clean, authentic stuff that's just great investment cars. And so I think he just
wanted to change things up a little bit. I know he spoke about it on a couple different shows and
podcasts about it's time for some of those to move on, which yeah, totally makes sense. But yeah,
if you're a Porsche guy and you've ever been to a shop or been admiring any of his cars,
look up that auction. I'm trying to find out when it when it is.
Oh yeah, I mean, it's always a good way to open up capital. I mean, Porsche is just
the market doesn't seem to be slowing down. Every time I think, oh, maybe I'll get an old 912.
I'm just like, what? They're how much? Yeah, doesn't even run the 50 grand. Are you kidding me?
Yeah, it's just it's out of control. I guess it's started. Maybe it's an online auction.
It's RM Sotheby's and it says March 18 through the 25th. So I think it starts today as we record
this a couple days from now. You're listening to this. Let's see, we've got let's take a look
at a few of these cars while we're here. Back to Walker. So 924 for 20 grand. I'm not buying that.
It's a joke. You know what? If a 924 turbo really clean, yeah, I mean, I get it. The 944s are
starting to go up too. You find a nice turbo example of that. 928, 96. Yeah. So he's got a
66, 911. Looks like a pretty clean car. Yeah. 78, 928. I don't think that's a 928s. He's got a couple
928s. Yeah. Another 60s, a 65, 911. Another 968. So is the 968, that's a continuation from the 944s,
right? So that's a four-cylinder still or is it a six-cylinder? Do you know much about those?
I don't. A friend had one and brought it by once, but we didn't spend much time with it.
I guess it's a four-cylinder. Yeah. Okay. Yeah, three-layer four-cylinder. Okay. So the 968 is
the four-cylinder. Yeah, because it still has the 944 kind of vibe, a little bit of a 928 front end.
Yeah, it's kind of the refined version. Like I always looked at it as like the 308, the 328,
and you're like, oh, 328 is like a little nicer version of a 308.
Yeah. Cool. Yeah, so 944 turbo. I like that. This 924 turbo, the racing wide-body one.
That's a neat one. That's a cool car. Wow. That's a cool car. There's some good cars in there,
but I see why he's getting rid of so many of the other ones, because it's like,
how many 924s are you going to drive? Yeah. How many 968s are you going to drive? How many 928s
are you going to drive? It's like, I don't know that the driving experience on those is
that thrilling, especially compared to the other stuff you have. So is that all this other stuff
you're selling too? This is tons of stuff. So if you guys go to the RMSotheby's Liston or just type
in Magnus Walker, Porsche Auction, he's just got tons of memorabilia, spare parts,
