July weekend. Uh, hopefully you guys are getting into something good.

I'll there enjoying everything.

Speaker 2: A lot of car shows are a book for this weekend.

Speaker 3: I saw a lot of different things going on all around the area, So hopefully in your guys area, there's a lot of fun events. I like parades. I got

to see a couple of different setups. People sent me

some pictures so of cars and stuff for the parade.

Speaker 2: It's gonna be a pretty cool weekend. I mean all

the way through. I mean nice, relaxing.

Speaker 3: I like the fact that it's the long weekend, right right, you know, every Yeah, everybody's got to enjoy a little bit a long long time. It carries all the way

through the weekend. You know, everybody's got their cars all

washing and waxed up. So hopefully you guys are out

cruising them and enjoying them. You know, got a Sunday

cruise on a Sunday drive as well, so get out there enjoy them. Hopefully you got on washing and waxed uff.

I this is a crazy one for you guys. So

all right, don't judge me. You guys know that I

am a gadget guy. That'd be the easy way to

say it, right. I like gadgets. I like toys, things

for the garage, anything is car related. It's kind of

been my thing, you guys would agree.

Speaker 2: Yeah, not so.

Speaker 3: Two and a half years ago, roughly, I got a a detailer, a commercial detailer. So it's a steamer and

a vacuum and everything all in one. I was really

excited about getting it. I told you guys, I own

a lot of stuff for cleaning cars and working on cars and stuff. But I'd got a really nice and

I'm not going to tell you the name of the company because everybody always asks me. I'm not trying to

bad mouth anybody. I'm not, you know, And this isn't

This isn't the most pledgable story. It's got a good ending,

but it wasn't cheap. It was pretty expensive. It is,

like I said's commercial grade. It's not like just your

house one. This one's actually for auto detailing. That's what

it's made for. It's through that company. That's all they

specialize in. So I finally get it. I'm excited to

have it. I didn't get you know, I didn't need

rush out and go use it right that second. So

of course, like anything i'd buy for the garage, I still got stuff in the garage I bought that. I

need to open the box up and put it where it belongs.

Speaker 2: You know, at one point you're going to use it, right right, I'm like, okay, I know I'm going to use this.

Speaker 3: So first time I need to use it, I take it, pull the box apart something so happy. Yeah, I'm so giddy.

I'm like, man, this is gonna be awesome. This is

great because here's the thing. I don't just buy something

or ask somebody to buy music. Everybody always asks, oh,

what do you want? Is a gift and I'll be

the first one A minut A lot of stuff I asked for. Its expensive because Cameron's like and how so,

but I like nice stuff for the garage, Like I already have something else I want. I'll tell you after

I tell you the story. So I got it, and

I was like, okay. So I pulled all the box

and it just need to have like the hoses connected because it's got like high pressure hoses to it, all kinds stuff. When I say it's commercial grade, it's not

like I said, it's not a junkie one. It's got

adapters and connectors and all kinds of stuff. And because

it's pressureized, so get everything all together, turn it on, let it heat up.

Speaker 2: And it does nothing.

Speaker 3: I pulled the trigger. I'm ready ready to go. I

got the car inside the garage, I got the doors all open. I am ready to rock and roll. And

it doesn't do anything. And I'm just like ah. Now,

like I said, I do my research on things that I asked for or I buy myself. So I did

a lot of research on this particular model, and.

Speaker 2: I'll just tell you it's it's blue. You can figure

it out from there.

Speaker 3: So and not only did I do the research, but I called the company that makes it and asked a bunch of questions because I was buying something that was, you know, expensive number one, and I didn't buy it by the way. It was bought for me as a gift,

but I had intended on buying it at the time that I went to all the research, So I asked all the questions. I wanted to kind of know about,

you know, what what the velocity of the pump was was in it because it's got a pump that builds pressure and stuff, and how hot the water got because it has a heater built into it, all different kinds of stuff. So I really wanted to know what I

was getting because I already had a small one that I was using, but it was more of a steamer feature and stuff, and it just wasn't everything that I wanted.

So I knew I was upgrading, and I think I maybe paid three or four hundred dollars to that little one that I had, which it did fine for what it was, but it wasn't everything I wanted.

Speaker 4: It's more private detailing work.

Speaker 2: It was.

Speaker 3: It was I needed something that did all, did everything right to do. That's the reason why I was right.

That's the reason why this one had a pretty strong pump.

Speaker 2: In it.

Speaker 3: Take the water back out, extract the water when you after you know, you spray, and everything like that. And

it had a chemical feeder. You know, a lot of

different things I wanted. So you need to say, I

get it out to put on the box, put everything together, I turn on. Like I said, it just shouldn't do anything.

It wouldn't work.

Speaker 2: So did you give it a tap? I gave it ta.

So I went through all the little basic stuff. I

checked all the hoses, went through everything. Couldn't find anything that,

you know, just really.

Speaker 3: Stood out to me. So then probably shouldn't have. But impatient, Dave,

I opened it up. I'm unscrewed it and opened up

the main case to the gutsy inside, just to take a look up, because I mean, we're all mechanics, right, I mean, for the most part, we had that mechanical thing.

To us, we just can't let something sit. I opened up,

I didn't see anything inside of it. After tinkering with

it for about two and a half hours, I couldn't figure out what was wrong with it, and I just got fed up.

Speaker 2: At that time.

Speaker 3: I put it back together, bolt it all back together.

I back on the shelf to whenever I get to it.

I guess makes sense.

Speaker 2: Two and a half.

Speaker 3: I needed it again, and it frustrates me because I know I own it, and I know it's a good company, and I believe in the company. Like I said, they

have very good reviews. They make it really good equipment.

I know a lot of people who are in the profession who have this unit. Okay, so it's not like

it was just on a whim. I finally decided this

week I took it off the shelf and I unbolted everything again, and I opened it up and I found the problem. So apparently, when they manufactured it's only thing

I could think of. I don't think either they didn't

test run it or they test ran it, and from making it, there was little chunks of stuff that was stuck in the lines and the hoses, all the different valves just had little something in everything.

Speaker 2: Either it sat on a shelf before it got sold to me, I don't know. So I took every single

thing apart.

Speaker 3: I took my air compressor, I put my ear nods on it, and I blew every single component out of all the valves. I opened the valves up, you know,

with screwdriver, and held open blue air through and stuff would stuff came out of every single thing.

Speaker 2: I mean, like everything that was in it.

Speaker 4: Bunch of debris.

Speaker 2: I don't know what it was. It almost looked like

like plastic.

Speaker 5: Yeah, like like the molding like like that.

Speaker 3: Even in the lines was like it was black. So

it's kind of looking, but it was like I could touch it with my finger and didn't fall apart. Blackness

that came out onto my work on my work table when I blew it out, like I because I had the hoses up there and I'm blowing all the different fittings outs, there's stuff just came out everywhere.

Speaker 2: Finally, I kept testing.

Speaker 3: I just slowly put another piece together and I try to see if I could run water through it, and it would start to run through there and I get to the next time and it would stop I'm like, okay, so I take that apart. So I'd go through every

single thing, and finally I was so happy, and finally I was like, okay, I'm always put plugging the thing in the wall. I plug the wall, I hit the pump,

I heard the pump cycle on. I was like, okay,

we're doing good. Halfway there, I pulled the trigger and

it didn't spray. I'm like, oh man, you gotta be

kidding me. One last little valve that was at the

end of everything, but I didn't realize that the way where I thought I already take because I already taken both ends off of it. But apparently there's another bypass

valve in between there, and it's in one of the metering block, and I didn't get inside it. I didn't

realize there was something inside that metering block like that.

Speaker 2: I figured that was just a junction that left lines come together. It's not.

Speaker 3: It actually has a purpose purpose. I think it's pressurized.

I think once the steam hits it, that's what opens that up. So I blew air through that and got

it and put all back together. Finally pulled the trigger

in Bam, it came to life.

Speaker 4: I was like oh nice, Thank god.

Speaker 2: I was like, so you get to use it? I

did I use it.

Speaker 3: I actually I steamed the interior of the truck, and that's what there was something out. I don't know what

it was. When something was in my truck and it

just wasn't right. And I'm weird. I told you guys,

have we to cover this. I'm weird about clean vehicles.

But I thought I smelled something. I probably didn't.

Speaker 2: It's probably all on my brain, but I'm like, does something smelled wrong in here?

Speaker 5: Like well, and especially when you started cleaning in your car, you know you gotta do all of it too. You

started getting like that, you know that frenzy of it.

Speaker 3: I will one hundred percent amit that. I had all

intentions of the world. And I told you this where

I came in there, I was just going to clean right in little front area. I'm like, it has to

because I nothing's been in the back for a while.

I haven't used the back seats in the truck, so no one's opened those back doors, so I was like, I can't be back there, so I just I'm just gonna see these little areas real quick, wipe everything down and be good. Before I knew it, I had the

whole truck torn apart. I had all the doors open,

and Thaniel comes rolling up and he's like, what are you up to. I'm like, Ah, you don't even want

to know. I'm like and then and then I got mad.

I told you guys that in the mega garage we have the tractors in there too, so and I hate that they're in there, and they are coming out there.

We're doing a garage extension and they're not going to be in there, so but they are. And the last

time I had the trackers out the backfield was a little money and mud got on the tires, and of course I pulled them into the garage to park it, and then the mud turns into dry dirt right well as I'm steaming, I guess some of the water got on the mud. So I get all done cleaning it.

I didn't even think about it because I'm dumb. You

guys can send me all the letters about how dumb that was, because I know I did it. I stepped

back in the truck to go back truck out of steaming it, and as soon as I pull it out in the drive, I go to step out of the truck and there's.

Speaker 2: Mud print right where I just shampooed it.

Speaker 3: I was so of course I had to go get stuff back out because I couldn't leave.

Speaker 2: It like that.

Speaker 3: And most of it was on the rubber mat, but some of it wasn't. It touched where the carpet. I

just cleaned it. So I'm back out there cleaning it

because it was driving me nuts.

Speaker 2: Anyway. Do you think you have er c D?

Speaker 6: Sir?

Speaker 3: No, No, I don't think I do. You guys will

probably tell me I do. I just like things clean.

And Nathaniel's probably he sees it more than anybody else because he'll hop in my truck a lot of times.

Camera's driving. So Nathaniel hops in my truck with me

and we're riding, and you'll see I literally I'll stop.

I told you guys, I'll stop it a stoplight and I'll be like, I'll pick something up. I see maybe

we stopped and grab something. There's a receipt and I

set the receipt down. Also, I'm like, where did this

receipt come from? And I'm grabbing things. I'm solely making,

like what I want to throw in the trash. The

very next place I go to. I just want to

take it out of the truck and drop it in a trash can as I walk into a store some because I.

Speaker 2: Don't like to beat in my truck and just I've been that way forever. I don't know, it's weird, but

that's not the story. Well, we talked about last week.

It's a machine. Don't get me off track.

Speaker 5: No, I'm glad you fixed the machine. But like we

talked about last week, it's all about just maintaining the car.

You know, it makes cleaning it so much easier for when you know, when you actually do get to the chance to actually deep clean.

Speaker 3: Does but ask so I will admit that it got to be putting the vinyl protection on the doors and the you see, like I just I don't know, there wasn't a stopping point.

Speaker 4: Well, you got to complete all the steps.

Speaker 2: You can't just do the one or two.

Speaker 4: You got to go to the whole routine.

Speaker 6: So since you like it so much, can I just bring my car over and drop it off, I'll take your truck.

Speaker 2: Okay, you know the answer that I know what it'll answer is.

Speaker 6: The answer is yes, Yeah, I know, I'll drop it off and you'll be like, what's it here for it?

Speaker 2: I'm like, can you clean it?

Speaker 7: Oh?

Speaker 6: Yeah.

Speaker 3: The problem I have, guys is and maybe I hope a lot of you guys are the same way. I

find it relaxing. I don't know what it is cleaning

a vehicle. Working on a vehicle now, don't be wrong,

because I can throw tools just like anybody else can.

Speaker 2: But I don't because I pay too much money for him.

Speaker 3: My thing is I just set it down and camera tell you. I'll set I will look, just set them

right down, I'll walk I'll walk over, I'll turn the main lights off in the garage, and I'm like, we're done for the day, and it.

Speaker 2: Could just sit there.

Speaker 3: I don't even care what it is I'm working on because I just don't. I want to get a I

don't want a car to get me frustrated. There's a

lot of other things in life to get frustrated about it.

I don't want to be a car.

Speaker 2: Now.

Speaker 3: I understand a lot of you guys do it for a living and you don't have that luxury. You guys

don't have the luxury to set them down and walkway because it's a customer waiting for the car. But when

you're doing it for the reasons, I do it because I truly do enjoy it, and I find it relaxing and everything else like that. I find it relaxing to

a detailed car. I like to steam it, I like

to vacuum it. I like to detail everything. I have

all the little detail brushes and stuff like that. I

find it very relaxing, to the point where I pop the hood and I go on eath the hood. And

I started doing the same thing on eight the hood and I got a brush and I go through all the little cracks and crevices.

Speaker 2: I have a commercial steamer for that too, completely different than the one we were just talking about. Yes, steams that

underneath the hood.

Speaker 4: I think you like the completion of the work, the finished product.

Speaker 2: You think that's what it is. I enjoy doing it.

Speaker 5: You know, you're taking something as dirty or messy and you're beginning, you know, nice and clean and present.

Speaker 2: A b Look.

Speaker 3: I've always said, if you give me a car, great music and an alcohol bevert should be. I mean, look,

I'll stay in there forever just working on cars, because I find, like I said, if I do get frustrated, I know life, I get frustrate, I'm done, But most of the time I don't get that frustrated like over something like that. I just work my way through it

and figure it out. I find it relaxing. I will

tell you, though, be careful when you buy beer fridges, because, as I learned this week, my beer fridge is on the fritz again.

Speaker 5: I mean wanting again what We only had that one for two years there, right, it's not a fridge.

Speaker 4: It's a cooler.

Speaker 2: Okay, it is a beer cooler slash. It's okay, So

it's a mini look it's supposed to be.

Speaker 3: It went a little I told you guys, I don't like fruf fruit, but I went a little fruit freit with it. When I designed the garage and stuff, I

built a built in for a small mini refrigerator that has a glass door. They call it a cooler, but

it's a refrigerator. But it has a glass door so

you can see it. Because I thought it was trendy.

It looked cool with what I was building because everything in the garage looks modestick, it looks has a nice modern look to it, and I liked it.

Speaker 2: Apparently I'm just throwing that like in the trash.

Speaker 3: I'm probably gonna put another set of mechanic drawers toolbox that if refrigerator is built into the built because it's all built into on the work benches around, fill that in.

Speaker 6: This is how to spend what two weeks last time to go find the right no no, no, no no, no the right side.

Speaker 3: So here's the thing, like I'm telling you what I'm gonna end up doing is is I'm gonna just.

Speaker 2: Take that out.

Speaker 3: I'm gonna put a set of drawers in, okay, and probably mechanic drawers. And then when the mechanic drawers are done,

I think I'm just gonna buy a regular old old beer fridge and I don't put old beer.

Speaker 2: Fridge in the corn. And that's what's gonna be, I think.

Speaker 3: And it will probably run for twenty years like my last one did without any problems. But this is the

second one in two years that I put over there.

Speaker 2: We're not doing it. Let's all vote yeah, beer fridge.

We never had any problems.

Speaker 3: And maybe what I'll do is I'll put a wrap on it to make it look old so it fits in with it. That I don't know. You guys, tell

me what you think I should do. If you guys

got a better idea, something cool, send it over to me.

Maybe we can make it happen. On that note, I

gotta take quicker rush of break wink them back.

Speaker 3: Hey, guys, welcome back. So here's a question I got

for you. This is kind of cool little story that

I was. I was taking a look at so evs.

You hear about them in every aspect everything right from electric electric vehicles that a fly, electric vehicles on the road.

Electric vehicles are taking over the world. Electric vehicles are

going to be taxis. Electric vehicles suck. I've heard it all.

I mean, you name it in cert electric vehicle and ad words behind electric right right, it's always electric vehicles.

It's always.

Speaker 2: That's like always, that's always the topic.

Speaker 3: I told you guys, you know what, all the different car shows and stuff we go to, we're starting to see some pretty crazy icon them crossolders.

Speaker 2: I don't know what else to call them yet.

Speaker 3: Yeah, but I'm seeing you know, old cars with now electric eye they're bringing.

Speaker 4: They're bringing they're bringing the hybrids.

Speaker 2: Back, right, but in a weird way.

Speaker 4: You're right, I'm not calling it highbrids.

Speaker 2: I'm not gonna lie.

Speaker 3: I thought it was pretty cool, and I almost if I could find mate, Okay, let me let me caveat because you guys know how to go down rabbit holes.

Speaker 2: I need to finish what I have first. But if

I could.

Speaker 3: Find in the next project I want after that, and then maybe, yeah, see how it works a Tesla that I could just cut up and just use just the bottom portion of power train the chassis. Yeah, say the chance,

let's just say we cut it and we do like a body swap on it. I could body swap a

Tesla in to say, like, I don't know, I almost kind of say on like a sixty nine Chevy pickup truck something like that.

Speaker 2: I think it'd be cool. Man.

Speaker 5: So I've actually seen a garage. There's a garage out

there that specialize in taking your old cars to like you know, your model t's and your you know, your electrical I mean no, I mean like in hot rides and like I'm really order cars wise and just you know, electrifying.

Speaker 4: Yeah, electrifying on me.

Speaker 5: I don't know they dropping the tracksie or I think they're just I think they're just pulling the engine and then making a platform.

Speaker 3: What was the company we saw Sema last year that had two different old cars and they had electrified cami.

There was a that's what they're specializing. And they're taking

the old cars like they I think they had a Mustang and hit something else and they're and they're you know, putting.

Speaker 5: I think this video had like had like a bell at they're electrifying. I mean it's kind of cool.

Speaker 4: I mean it's unique. I'm not a big electric guy

and stuff. I get it.

Speaker 5: You know, I'm not gonna say I he has a great acceleration, you know, I see all the pros on it, but me back up.

Speaker 2: So I got stuck going down the rabbit hole the other night. Let me tell you how this goes. I

ain't gonna lie.

Speaker 3: And they had taken like the Tesla motor and the suspension of stuff, and they basically cut it and they grafted.

Speaker 2: It into I want to say it's a Chevelle. I

don't know. It's late at night. I want to say

it's Chevelle. It was cool like. It wasn't not cool.

It was.

Speaker 3: It was cool like and maybe not cool to you guys, but the acceleration on this thing was stupid crazy.

Speaker 2: I was just like, oh my goodness.

Speaker 3: And then I went, eh, maybe you know, like I have no desire understand, I'm a hot rider through and through.

Speaker 2: But I kind of got it. And then I was

at Hall.

Speaker 3: That's our dealership here in town, if you guys don't know, and they had the new electric charge new camera's like, no, I don't know where you're going with this, and they.

Speaker 2: Had electric charger and I had not really messed around with.

Speaker 3: I saw the the demo one I guess what you call it, the one that was out there on display for a while that they were showing off and starting it up on.

Speaker 2: Kinds of So we saw that one. Did we see

that one? Three years ago? Two years ago?

Speaker 3: Whatever it was, we saw it, okay, and I think it's Cameron and I did the same thing.

Speaker 2: We went, eh, you know what.

Speaker 3: I mean, it doesn't So a couple of weeks ago, I had to go dealership pick up some parts and there it was.

Speaker 2: It was sitting. So Bruce, if you guys see him,

go back shows years ago.

Speaker 3: Bruce is the local, like your district SRT guy uh here in our area. If you ever want to looking

for anything that's cool, Bruce, you can find it for you.

So or not excuse me, but so, Butcher can find it for you. And I saw. I was talking with

him and he's driving one. So he's like, let me,

let me just fire it up for you. I'm like, okay,

and you know what's.

Speaker 2: Got the speaker right? But he fired up and I

was like, ah, that's cool.

Speaker 3: I know it's a speaker that loses all the attraction for me, but.

Speaker 4: Oh it was neat then this thing's quiet.

Speaker 3: That's what made me go down the rabbit hole that night and I was just like, I wonder, what's just out there? What are people doing because like almost envision

cutting one of those brand new ones up.

Speaker 2: And putting underneath stuffing, And I was just like, man, that's a lot of money. He's gonna do that. Maybe

you just go like an old Tesla.

Speaker 3: But then I see where people just taking like the Tesla motors and drive trains and stuff like that and dropping into.

Speaker 2: Stuff cars pulling up to fuel to electric.

Speaker 6: It's the name of the company, what it was, Yeah, that was the company that was at SIMA last year and they buy you nine to eleven.

Speaker 2: So I knew we I was trying to rember name of the company. It was one of the companies and

I think that's the one that was the records of everything.

So but it's it's it's an interesting concept. Think about it.

Speaker 3: Think about a Tesla like it doesn't have to be I'd always use Tesla as the platform for everything, and I probably shouldn't, but just think about Tesla set up their mechanics, their engine, their power train, everything and thrown in like I don't know, like an eighty nine Porsche nine to eleven and just the power.

Speaker 2: That's what they did. They took a Tesla battery and

put it. But this is like a seventy one though,

wasn't it. I don't think it was that it was.

Speaker 3: I can't remember what year it was, but uh, and just the power on the man is something that now it's really light and it has a lot of power.

It's just it's intriguing to me because as a gearhead, yes, I like my V eight gasoline muscle thing, but just as a gearhead, there is intriguing.

Speaker 2: Stuff to it that makes me go, huh, yeah, I can see how that, you know.

Speaker 3: And then when I see when people build them and people send me videos and stuff, and I see these what they can do, and I'm watching these these creations.

Speaker 2: Just walk really powerful built cars, I'm just like, that was embarrassing, you know what I mean? I agree it

makes your mind run just a little bit. How can

it not.

Speaker 3: It's a gearhead. You guys have to appreciate everything, maybe, don't.

I think I run this conversation car shows all the time.

There's guys out there to apreciate nothing other than what they drive. Their brand. They can't see it's like this.

They can't see anything else, and it drives me, especially when it comes to judging car shows and you have people like that or are judges.

Speaker 2: That's the worst thing for me. You got to be

able to see it all.

Speaker 5: I think there's pros and cons to both sides though, so you know, like you know, I'm gonna take an electric guy either and stuff, and I just see the the cons of more of electric cars of you know, when you build a really nice car with the gas you know, gas power wise, it's gonna last a lot longer than.

Speaker 4: Say a battery.

Speaker 2: Yeah.

Speaker 4: I mean, look, they're already going on second hand battery.

Speaker 2: Yeah, we know that. But you're driving those every day

though you're not. It's a playtoy, so you're.

Speaker 3: Not driving have a problem, yeah, I mean the battery timing out from it sitting for too long.

Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean some people drive it, but yeah, like you know, you could die.

Speaker 2: Just is that what it's called with think back? Yeah,

just like you car guys tell me if that's called I think.

Speaker 5: But you know, like I think that's a downfall just and electric cars in general, is that, you know, at least with a gas power it's always sitting there ready to go.

Speaker 2: Where electric Yeah, that problem still happens to you if you like a gasoline car sit for a while.

Speaker 5: Yeah, But you're not in it for as much as you know you are. If you're at placing the battery,

I'll conceive that.

Speaker 2: Okay, So don't give me the pros. I think the.

Speaker 5: Pros are you know, insigant power. You know it is

cheaper to charge your electric cars.

Speaker 2: Give me something else, I got you, I got.

Speaker 5: I mean it is cheaper to you know, fill it and charge it than it is the fillum gas right now at home.

Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean it's a little maybe easier.

Speaker 5: I mean, I don't know if the cessibility is there yet to kind of, you know, to charge it if you're kind of far out there. I know they're starting

to build more power stations for you to charge your car with that.

Speaker 2: That's a good caveat right.

Speaker 3: So the batteries have all these batteries are trying to figure out what you've heard about them taking that you're not talking about. They're taking car batteries now and building

power supply stations. Yeah, with second hand batteries, with second

hand batteries, so batteries out of your evs and stuff like that. They're taking those batteries and flipping around and

making power stations out of them. Like but it takes

like nine hundred batteries to make a powering station.

Speaker 2: I was trying. I tried to look to find out.

Speaker 3: What it could power, like how much of something could power, But apparently it's worth doing.

Speaker 2: It's got to be powering quite a bit.

Speaker 5: For I think I think they're using them, Like maybe I could be totally wrong, but I think they're using them like like a solar panel, Like you know, when you use solar panelsy, it has to have something to hold the power, and they're using the batteries to hold the power in something. Because I was reading the article

about you know, second hand batteries will hold about eighty to ninety percent. I think it's a great idea personally,

like you gotta do something with them. You're not recycling them,

we're not pluting the planet as well as you can get them.

Speaker 2: For about half price on that regardless.

Speaker 4: But well yeah, well, I mean, I mean, yeah, you know, to make the batteries.

Speaker 2: I get the whole I've seen.

Speaker 4: Both sides, Like I'm just saying why they're already here.

Speaker 5: Instead of getting rid of them and then doing the same thing over and over again, we're recycling them in a better use case.

Speaker 4: Scenario.

Speaker 5: But I'm guessing for the player right all for I'm guessing they're using them just as a storage unit, not really produce it, but just to store you know, electricity that we can you know, harness hardness wise.

Speaker 2: Yeah, that makes it. I mean that makes sense. Like

I said, I'm all for it.

Speaker 3: Anything we can do if we can find a use from because you know, we're you hear a boy, everybody, what we can do with all these batteries when they don't have them anymore and we're gonna have them in landfills.

And you might be right. I don't know. I mean,

I'm just over here, chaperan, I'm a radio show host.

I can, you know, jabber all day long. I could

be completely wrong. Who knows, but I'm just saying that

you I hear the conversations, you'd be surprised that car shows the conversations.

Speaker 2: We have a lot of Some of that has nothing to do with cars.

Speaker 3: It has to do with everything other the energy, the process, the manufacturing of parts, and you know, well, yes it's all car related, but a lot of.

Speaker 2: It sometimes has nothing to do with cars.

Speaker 4: It happens to everything though.

Speaker 5: Really, you know, we make something, it takes about ten twenty years for us to find a new you know, use case scenario for that product after we're done with it.

And so you know, it's just times that you know, we actually find a use case scenario for you know, second hand batteries and you know electric cars that people just don't want anymore.

Speaker 4: I mean, think about when they.

Speaker 2: Started brand new electric cars. People don't want their to

just sit.

Speaker 5: And yeah that too, I mean and you know who knows, you know, how well there's going to go, you know, after they sit forever.

Speaker 2: Okay, So I agree with you, Like I said, I'm all for anything that we can reuse.

Speaker 3: I think the biggest problem is is uh cars are become more throwaway than they are anything else, and I think we need to get back to trying to figure out a way to fix that.

Speaker 2: Maybe this is a fix.

Speaker 3: You know, there's big business lines right the second where people are restoring ev vehicles, you know, because they're doing battery swaps on them and all kinds of starting bringing them back. And I told you guys about you know,

some of these companies out there that want to make pop on parts so you can basically take it and make it look different. Even though it's still an old car.

But then it just repurposes a car and make it, which I think that's a great company. There's a I

think a lot of those are more still in the startup stage. I don't know we'll end up finding it out,

but you know, we go to all these different shows and stuff. We see these great concepts, these great ideas,

and people are marketing and some of them are in a startup stage and they got great funding for it, but then we hear about them not going anywhere.

Speaker 5: You know.

Speaker 3: So I think I've kind of used that in the car business more than anything else. I see a lot.

It does give me hope. Though, I'm not gonna lie

because when I see that, you know, we now found uses secondhand uses for batteries and stuff like that. It

means my second hand toilet business definitely hans potential. I mean,

I'm just saying, you know, I've been trying to promote this for years, second hand toilets. I mean, you know,

a little scrubby dubby, a little bleach and stuff like that.

There may very well be still hope for that business.

I'm hoping because you can buy them cheap and.

Speaker 5: Turn around sell them for high Well, I mean you know you could probably you know, sell them to you know, some foreign countries that you know you only use you know, holes down.

Speaker 2: Huh.

Speaker 6: No, No, well, I'd rather pay the two three hundred dollars for a new toilet rather than camera late.

Speaker 3: Do I have a deal for I got a second hand toilet, I'll sell you for twenty five dollars instead of.

Hope you guys are ready for it, because.

Speaker 2: This one's a little strange, and it's not as strange as you think it is. We all like GTA.

Speaker 6: Oh my gosh, game comes out. I mean what, we've

been pushed back two times now. They say it's gonna

come out this time.

Speaker 2: Then that king pushed back game. And if you never

played g t A, I only played. I'll be honest

with you. I don't think I ever did missions. I

never did anything like that. You don't know. I'm talking

about Grand Theft Auto.

Speaker 3: I played it because of the cars, even when it first came I just like driving the cars around. I

used to drive around find all the different cars, all the hidden cars, all that kind of stuff. I never

thought about the fact that, Okay, I'm gonna lie I I.

Speaker 2: Did steal a couple of cars in the game. I

just did.

Speaker 3: I mean, because you can't. But I mean I never

that wasn't the purpose of the game for me. I know,

there's that's there's a whole nother purpose other than driving cars.

And it wasn't crazy sure what the purpose of GTA is?

Speaker 2: What is the purpose? Right?

Speaker 5: So like the national game itself, because you know, GTA was actually created for a whole different reason and then they and they moved it to it. Basically, it was

basically like one of those older games where you just kind of drive around and they kind of chase you.

Speaker 4: And it wasn't like Grand Theft Auto like.

Speaker 2: How just like shooting at people stuff like that.

Speaker 4: It wasn't the original the game.

Speaker 5: It was more like two D game that you just kind of drive around and you do small little missions and stuff, almost like a like what PC were back in the day, like on those websites.

Speaker 2: I think I got the first run.

Speaker 3: I think someone gave it to me. I don't remember

even buying that game, but I had it. I don't

even know how I got it, and that's I think that's I don't think it was the first PlayStation. May

think that I was PlayStation two it came on. I

don't remember which. I had all the PlayStations. When you're

a military, you had to find things to keep you busy.

I remember getting the very first PlayStation, having it on the ship, and then it just kind of spiled from there.

Speaker 2: I was told not to buy it from my little brother and I did it. But I played.

Speaker 3: I just drove around the car. I never, like I said,

I never really messed with any missions or anything like that.

I just thought it was I mean, it was something to do. Was it was like brainless, just driving around

and I had a lot of car games, like all the stuff.

Speaker 2: When it comes to so it was a.

Speaker 4: Race and chase game.

Speaker 2: Is that what it was?

Speaker 5: Yep, So where basically you, uh, you drive the car and then uh it was kind of like a Cops or robber style and you try to get away.

Speaker 4: So it wasn't like how we see it now.

Speaker 2: Okay, so I know there's a lot more that goes into it.

Speaker 5: Now.

Speaker 2: I couldn't even begin to tell you.

Speaker 3: But I believe that it's numbed, like the adolescence of people to the fact that just because it's in the.

Speaker 2: Game and you're doing the game, like you probably shouldn't be doing that in real life. We keep on getting

all these weird.

Speaker 3: Stories right about people basically just doing not just kids with people just in real life.

Speaker 4: But don't you think.

Speaker 5: Don't you think though, that with the game being out, people can live that in the game and not doing real life.

Speaker 2: I hope that that's like the case.

Speaker 5: Well no, but I can kind of see it, like people are already doing that before the game came out and stuff. But now maybe it's less right because I

don't know, maybe you know, maybe it's.

Speaker 2: Less because they can do it. But I'm not saying that.

Speaker 7: No.

Speaker 3: In this particular case, the story was sent to me and I read it and stuff. There's a twelve year

old that was stealing cars like GTA and then selling them.

He's twelve, He's just crazy. I think they believe he

stole three to four cars. I guess they caught him

in the act on one of them and stuff.

Speaker 2: But yeah, he he stole the car.

Speaker 4: It's a terrible thing to do, but for.

Speaker 5: Thirty dollars question a question who buys the car for the third dollars? I questioned that too. It's a terrible

thing to do. But you gotta being kind of press

twelve year because kind of impressive that a twelve year old pulled it off.

Speaker 2: Well, right, because he did in the game. He's like, oh,

this is simple. And then and then I got another story.

I went.

Speaker 3: When I went to go try to get the particulars on this story, it was in Grand Rapids. By the way,

if you I know, somebody's going to send me what was that a It's in Grand Rapids is where this happened at another.

Speaker 2: Story hit me, I guess it's up Upper State Virginia.

Speaker 3: We're like a twelve year old stolen car and he had a court day for stealing the car, and the day he was supposed to be on his court date, he got.

Speaker 2: Caught in another stolen car. I'm like, well, how was

he supposed to get to court? He's like, soft, sir,

I needed to get to court.

Speaker 3: It's just I think, like I said, I think we've numbed uh the adolescence a little bit to the fact that there is repercussions for the actions because there is no really, I mean, there is repercussions in the game, but they're not real.

Speaker 2: Like, Okay, so the police chase you, and I guess they bust you or.

Speaker 5: Something because I think I've gotten okay, So I will say, like when you do get busted, they just kind of throw you outside the high hospital.

Speaker 4: They should they should have a mechanism.

Speaker 5: Where like they didn't know that, Yeah, like you did, put you to the closest hospitals they should have.

Speaker 2: And they take all your ammo.

Speaker 5: Yeah, there should be like a jail section of it, and like you have to like go through like you know, some type of like you should that'd be kind of a cool add on, like you have to go to like the court system so people can understand like the repercussions of it, haven't you, Yeah, because because like you said, you know, it kind of does numb you to you know, what are the act effects of doing all that?

Speaker 6: So where you know in back in twenty sixteen, there were researchers that were using GTA to train a tonamous vehicles.

They were actually using it to teach it like basically like a sixteen year old to teach it the rules of the.

Speaker 2: Worst basic stuff. Yeah, basically this, Okay, you can understand that.

Speaker 3: Like I thought I was like big slick when I was playing what was it called Big Trucker or something like that, and you had to go like drive the tractor trailer and that game was able to pick up your Yeah, yeah, that was my.

Speaker 2: Game and they like playing it. But you had to

go pick your load up and you had to get the trailer loaded loaded up.

Speaker 3: You pick what you wanted to pool for the day, and then you had to drive it to like another city or states away or something like that, but you picked how far you wanted to go with it.

Speaker 2: I always thought that game was was fun. I thought

I was doing big things. I mean I wasn't out there.

Speaker 3: Like playing a game where I was steadily stealing cars regularly and stuff like that. So I played GTA here

and there, but it wasn't like it wasn't hugely on my radar for something to play. I was playing games

like racing games and big I think it's a Big Truck or USA or something.

Speaker 5: Well, I think as a game gets more realistic, you'll actually kind of see like those warning signs do not do this in real life, you know, like those warnings.

Speaker 3: No, Cameron, look up what is there? Was the very

first car game on PlayStation. I cannot rumner any of it,

but that's what started it for most of us car guys.

It was on PlayStation when PlayStation first came out. I

think it came as even in the demo pack. That

game came as a demo pack and then you buy the expand thing.

Speaker 2: I can't remember. I can picture the car, but it

took a lot Ridge race Car. No, it wasn't real

Bridge Racer. No, I don't think that that wasn't.

Speaker 6: The first card game released on the original PlayStation console was Ridge Racer. It was launched in nineteen ninety four.

Speaker 2: And nope, it was. It was way more advanced than that.

That's not no, that's not it. I'm telling you.

Speaker 4: Anything with the one with the viper.

Speaker 2: It's no, it's not a fact.

Speaker 3: I remember it was a game that started all and now it's gonna bother me to I find out what any of it was.

Speaker 2: But like that's what all of us were playing, like, we were playing that game. I remember it. It was

San Trismo. Maybe it is Grand trismasm it could be.

I don't think I know, you don't think that all the time. It was something else. I don't know, it's

gonna bother me. Whatever it was somebody somebody know if

you guys know some of the information.

Speaker 3: But like it just showed the possibilities of a game console and like just how incredible. I mean I can

remember just being like in all over like what it was, and now look what you got. Now it's way past

all that. But no, no, no, I see they're showing me.

If you guys say off.

Speaker 2: Camera the' showing me different titles and stuff like that.

It was a game called Driver. No, no, we had Driver.

You know I finished Driver. If you guys ever played

the game, I finished Driver. It was like one day.

Speaker 4: Yeah, do you remember what kind of car was?

Speaker 2: I don't know.

Speaker 4: I said that would kind of help you out a little more.

Speaker 2: Yeah, I was like, had like an O Driver.

Speaker 6: I finished in one day. And I kind of did

wish that.

Speaker 2: They expanded I wish it was you hop from one car by the way. Yeah, but it was kind of

like that concept of that a little bit. It was

a cool game.

Speaker 3: I wish they would make that game with today's technology and expand out it actually a pretty cool game.

Speaker 2: If you guys remember the game Drive. You had to

start in the parking garage and kind of qualify and stuff in the parking garage. I remember that game.

Speaker 6: The game that I've been playing that I've got hooked up on is a car ex Drifting. It's where you're

like e race tracks and you started. I putted it

on my phone first, but then I started playing it on the console and I just found out they came out with one called car x Street where now you go and do races against people as well.

Speaker 3: I remember I used to play the drift game here.

He used played on our phone like it was like many phones again many phones, ag, I should say, And we played turn it and drift around the corners. I

remember playing that. I told you, guys, if it's car related,

I'm into it all the way. I have Lego cars

I put that still need to put together.

Speaker 5: If anybody wants to send me like a fantech racing wheel a sam, I'm all about it.

Speaker 4: I'll do a review.

Speaker 2: He's all about it, like he's been trying to get me to buy a simulator.

Speaker 4: For a while because, yeah, because I would use it.

Speaker 2: He wants to put it here in the studio, Like, I don't know how he fit in the studio. Make

it work. But he's like, I swear we'll make it work.

Make it work. I'm like, we had to move around

the server room all that kind of stuff a little bit, but we make where I don't know, well, I mean, I'll make it work. Come on now, so we know.

Speaker 3: And if you guys wonder why I'm talking about video games with cars, like because we know it works. I mean,

take a look. They did take video game drivers and

put them in real cars and see what they could do, and it worked out worked. I mean, like, so let's

out there right, Let's not pretend like it can't be done.

There is some skill set set.

Speaker 5: Now.

Speaker 3: I've seen people that you know, can't drive on the road and can't drive a similator either. I mean yeah,

but they think they can't. I mean they think they're

accomplishing something. But I have a friend that's got a similator.

I'm not gonna call him out, but hey, work on your lap times because, like I he just keeps on doing the race and his lap times are like they're not getting any better. I'm like, either you're not setting

the car up right, or you're not I don't know what, or maybe you just can't drive.

Speaker 2: Some people have hands, some people.

Speaker 5: I would say, there's a couple of games out there that are really realistic to you know the feeling.

Speaker 4: I mean, he's in the movie.

Speaker 2: Was that movie called Similator? Was the movie?

Speaker 4: Uh the r I think it is called Ye instead.

Speaker 5: You know, you can really feel the brains in all the controls, especially if you have the whole summary seem.

Speaker 3: All about it, if it's cool and stuff like that.

I would, I would, I would dig it. I mean

I would. I'm not against buying a Similator. I just

hate to spend the big money for everything I want and then not use as.

Speaker 2: Much as I would.

Speaker 7: It's just good.

Speaker 2: He's like, just buy, pretending like you don't like it, and give it to me, right right, right, Yeah, you see how this works. Huh Okay, I'm gonna ponder on

that just a little bit.

Speaker 3: I'm a start off with first, what do you believe is the most American car.

Speaker 4: Most American, most American car, I figure, you know where I'm gonna go with.

Speaker 5: I'm gonna say the Mustang, just because I know that they're manufacturing right here in the United States, and you see a lot of them on the road, even just older models, newer models.

Speaker 4: If I had to think of another one, I don't know, I'll pass it on camp Camp.

Speaker 2: What do you believe is the most American car? I

like the Corvette, So I mean you think that you think that speaks America more than anything else. Yeah, because

I like it. I mean you like though, I mean, like,

what screams America about that car? It's fast? I don't know,

it's just I think, isn't the quarterback made in America? Yes?

Speaker 3: Some of the parts were sent out or yeah, I'm sure.

I'm sure if you went with manufacturer, you can probably find some parts that are not.

Speaker 5: I would say, you know, Chevy too, just because there's a lot of as a manufacturer, as a manufacturer, just because yeah, because you know, there's a lot of trucks out there, there's you know, people do drive Camaros and stuff.

Speaker 4: But let's say I have to pick a car, I probably say the Musting. I see a lot of Mustangs.

Speaker 3: Okay, so you guys went in a direction a little different.

I think I baited you guys, but I thought you guys would go in that direction anyway.

Speaker 2: Right, So you're right.

Speaker 3: People, when people were pulled and asked about the most American cars, your guys's picture on the list, Okay, Mustang.

Speaker 2: Is top of the list. Yeah.

Speaker 3: And and I only recorded of the survey of the top of the list. Okay, so Mustang was one of them.

It's because American made. I'm sure once again people are

gonna correct me this part right here. I married a

crush portal. Right, well you can do that with anything.

Speaker 2: Yes, save, don't be a keyboard warrior. Save save it.

I'm just telling you. So. Corvette Cameron was on the list.

Corvette was one of us. It was on the list.

People identify that as just being America. They just do.

I think it has a lot to do. I think

the badging on maybe a on a Corvette pulls you.

Speaker 4: Into I can see that.

Speaker 3: And I can almost say with the Mustang, like just the pony and all that kind of stuff and open range, And I don't know that's what I can that. Maybe

it's just kind of makes you think of America when you see it, so I can see how people gravitate to that. The Camaro was another one that was on

the list, believe it or not. I was surprised. I

thought that a Dodge would be within that top of the list, and it was. And I thought that somebody's

gonna say.

Speaker 2: The Challenger, you know, or the Chargers or something like that, and it wasn't you.

Speaker 3: I'm gonna give you an opportunity. What do you believe

was the number one car? And I would have never

saw this coming. It speaks America when you were in

a and maybe not recent but for a lot of people, America says Amerca.

Speaker 2: I must keep going.

Speaker 5: Is it in one of those in the manufacturers or is it I can't, I can't get away to you.

It's a different manufacturer. Movie already said though, right, no,

it's not. Okay, the same manufacturer. Which one you got?

Speaker 2: It's the orange car with the American flap on top.

It's not an American flags. You talk about the general lead.

What in the world do you talk? Are you high?

He's a American car? I'm like, are you not? Geral? Yeah,

he told you that Dodge wasn't on the list. Look,

I sometimes I just don't know.

Speaker 3: I don't even there is a reason why Cameron likes the cars that only that he likes. And there's a

reason why Cameron is our show and does the computer.

Speaker 2: Stuff because computer technology. I understand.

Speaker 3: But at the same point in time, Camera's only fixated in his car culture and his love for cars, only cars that he's interested in. Other than that, if you

step outside that box, people, if you haven't tell if you don't listen to this show long enough, forget it, hang it up.

Speaker 6: So I like cars, I know you do certain cars where you know everything about that particular car.

Speaker 3: Anything else You're like, I don't know, is that a Mustang?

It looks like a Mustang could be I don't know.

Speaker 4: And it's gonna be kind of like right if it was like an Apollo though, is it?

Speaker 2: Like I know, you were gonna okay, so you were kind of going right, You're like some of these like you know, like right, I'm telling you, I would have never in a million years car.

Speaker 4: You can't tell you that.

Speaker 2: Interceptor or something like that you're getting in the ballparks.

Yea you are. You want the answer, I'll give you

to the Crown vis. That's what I was considered, like

the most American, That's what I think. Never, I never

ever would have really thought about that, right. But then

as I saw the answer, I went, you know what, maybe they're right and the reason why police cars regular people driving them.

Speaker 3: I mean like they were using so many different aspects of life. I went, and there was so many I'm

so long out on the road.

Speaker 2: I went, yeah, I get it. I don't like the

answer because I really thought, I really thought it would be like so cool, something cool, like a Mustang. I

knew it was a police car, but I was just like, I'm like it just it hitvy.

Speaker 3: I went when it dons on you right when it dons, and I went, I think I was thinking a whole different direction.

Speaker 2: And then that was the answer, and I was just.

Speaker 4: Yeah, go for like a basic car like I used.

Speaker 3: I saw and then I saw like all the joey Everybody's like, well, you know, people single handedly you know, like brought back the charger, like the charger was like done dead and forgotten, and before.

Speaker 2: You know it, like everybody had one, you know what I mean.

Speaker 3: I was like, yeah, but it didn't have the run like the Crown Vic had like that truct.

Speaker 4: Like you said, very many purposes too, it did.

Speaker 2: So I think that's the reason why that car it.

It makes sense to me. And I know there's could

be people out there that a cat all day drivers.

I lost my cell phone in one.

Speaker 5: I just tell you the versatility and the good just how good the car was for it to be used in multiple different scenarios.

Speaker 2: You could beat up a Crown Vic. You could beat

up a Crown Vic and it would take it would take it, but.

Speaker 3: It would take the car itself would take it. And

I just know from doing police car transmissions for years, Hey, if you go from a reverse to drive and you don't like stop in the process, Yeah, transmission hated that, and police officers really good at doing that to the car.

Speaker 2: It would just destroy the transfers.

Speaker 4: Say, most transmissions are pretty most transmitions.

Speaker 2: Don't like that. But I'm giving you an instance that

was done in police cars.

Speaker 3: Lot think about it because they yeah, back out it and they go and or they go park straight to drive and just the foot's already full to the floor before it ever hits drive.

Speaker 2: And the car there were transmissions reflected all these things I'm telling you. Trust me. They showed that that's what

was done to them. You can't hi.

Speaker 3: One thing about transmission, guys, is if you drive it like a maniac, you can't hide it. The transmission when

you take it apart, tells on you.

Speaker 2: It says, I drive like.

Speaker 3: A bad out of hell inside it, and you take it apart right right right in these particular gears.

Speaker 2: Mostly it tells you that you're not hiding it.

Speaker 3: I love the fact that back in the day people coming in, you know, I got a transmission done from you guys a couple of years ago.

Speaker 2: I don't know why I got the accident and.

Speaker 3: Uh yeah, now it's not shifting rot And I'd be like, okay, let's check it out, and yeah, they're right, it wouldn't shift right. And I'm like, all right, well, you got

a warranty on it, we'll check it out and stuff.

And I would open it up, and it told every story about that car inside that transmission, like this guy drives like a maniac, like you just know he did.

Speaker 2: There's no way it looks like this. And he'd be like,

now I drive it like a grandma, and You're like, no way, no, you don't know, you don't and your tires reflect different too, sir. I wonder why the transmission

would bring back. We get people all time coming. You know,

this is just like my Sunday cruise. I just cruised around.

I don't really beat on it. It's always a muscle.

It was always like some type of sports car muscle.

I don't beat on it.

Speaker 3: You get up in the air and there's just rubber just stuck and they don't even think about it, like it's just stuck place.

Speaker 2: Like yeah, yeah, yeah, you just drive it like grandma right.

That rubber did not get there because some glandmas like the race, you know, some grandma's like the little lady from Passa. I'll just say, like it would tell the stories.

But no, I mean that car makes sense for me.

Speaker 3: Another one that you that comes to mind that there was a lot of them out there for alongside the route, the Buick Roadmaster.

Speaker 2: It was a lot of those.

Speaker 3: I mean, that's not gonna be America's car, but it's a tank those you still see it could be.

Speaker 5: Kind of America's car because you know, you know, back when road trips were really a big thing to you know, you all your family in it you could.

Speaker 2: I mean car that the movie Are We There Yet?

Speaker 4: Used to no.

Speaker 2: National Lampoon? Yeah? Uh, Christmas Vacation had the station wagon,

right yeah?

Speaker 4: Or yeah, I think all those movies they had the station wagon.

Speaker 2: Yeah, but I mean the big one. But that's the

truckster though. I think that's not built on a Roadmaster. Roadmasters,

I mean they are is just as big as that.

Speaker 6: I mean they're like a Lincoln Navigator that yeah. Yeah,

I saw a lot of Lincoln Navigators when I was a kid too.

Speaker 3: Apparently how you got a Roadmaster in Lincoln. Once again,

Cameron's only interested in the cars. He's interested in anything

outside that hanging up guys, let me tell you it is even when it comes to election for cars. When

he starts looking for wheels. Once he gets hopped on

a wheel, he don't know any other wheel other than that wheel that he found.

Speaker 2: That he likes.

Speaker 3: He's he's just stuck that now. He rabbit holes, but

the only rabbit holes and the stuff he's interested in.

That's it, and like that forever. It's never going to

change again.

Speaker 2: I mean with the gold rims.

Speaker 3: One last thing, if you guys haven't I wanted to kind of cover this story. We ran out of time

to show it by quick. I want to applod forward

for the fact if you guys didn't see the article that they're talking about adjusting their pay with their assembly line workers and stuff like that.

Speaker 2: I think it's a great thing.

Speaker 3: Maybe sometime I get up more time before we don't run a time, we can touch a little bit more on It was one of the things I had scheduled to talk about this week, but I do want to give them the applause for taking a look at that. Basically,

they're going back to the old style of thinking, really and it's going to be guys. They want people to

build their cars to be able afford to own their cars.

It's a great idea, so they're going to be looking at the pay structure and stuff like that. I really

hope that that works out for you guys. I think

it's really smart. It's really stucky to build something that's

really really cool and you can't afford to own one.

So I think that's a very wise idea on their part.
