temperature regulation issue in here. It was like cold or anything. You need a new BAT jacket. This is like one of the

podcast things I've learned. Somebody needs to have the thermostat control in their hands at the desk.

Well, the rest of the country is cold, dude. You're just resonating with everybody else.

Totally. We've been lucky. We were lucky. You say it's cold. It's like 58 or 62 in this room. It's not that cold. No, it's nice.

But our spectrum that we're like willing to deal with is very narrow.

Correct. I have about a 10 degree window of comfort, and that's it. I can't tolerate nothing else being a

Californian. We had a nice weather last week back, though, when everyone was in the office. It was fantastic.

I was actually really helpful, but we wouldn't get rain that week, but it worked out just fine. They slipped in, came back out,

and now the rains coming back this week. Wonderful to see all of our colleagues. We had about 35 or 40 of our colleagues flying from

all over the country, and it was just a delight. Packed house, people trying to find seats anywhere.

I think Cameron was sitting by like the merch table just in the back of the house just trying to find a place he could put a laptop down.

Pod Studio was an office. So it was actually yes, it sure was. It was fun. It was great. It was wonderful.

But we're talking events. Yeah, we need to talk events very badly, very quickly. The whole one. Well, I'm jumping ahead.

I know you're ready to go. I can see it in your eyes and feel it in the vibes. Did you get any pod feedback?

Well, you were here. I got quite a bit. Did you want to mention pod to you or to you, Randy? Well, you were here from our colleagues.

Not too much. Not a ton. I got some people coming back at me, just very specifically on my specific choices.

Did you read the Instagram, Randy? I don't and didn't read that Instagram, but I listened to the 99 episode while I was driving and heard your guys picks.

Who won? It was okay. I want to talk about that before we dive into events. It was a little bit of a grudge match.

I knew that I would lose and indeed I did. Yeah, you lost. We knew that out of the gates.

But when I say one like between Beck and Zach, right, which is like the grudge match of all grudge.

Because they're both. I lose every time and I'm fine with you. But what what happened?

I think it was. Did you read? I'm looking for right now. It was domination by Zach yet again.

Oh, I had the benefit of going first this time and it still didn't help.

And I thought like, Oh, I've got a GT3. I've got a Mercedes wagon. Like I'm definitely going to do better.

Backpicked a viper. So you're dead in the water immediately. That's like you're going to head like you're done.

I mean, I think it's great. And I love that choice.

But if you're looking to score brownie points with the broader Instagram audience, if you pick a viper, you're dead.

I got quite the American garage. Did you pick something else? I had it.

No, you picked a bunch of trucks. So you were. Yeah, you were done. You were done. It's not Instagram fancy enough.

So Zach picks all the like perfect. It's aspirational vehicles and everybody's like I want all of those Zach wins.

It also doesn't help that he picks cars. I didn't know existed like the 426 wagon.

Yeah, that car was so good. I was. I have becks picks right in front of me Dodge Viper GTS for sports car.

Pajero EVO for SUV. You guys debated the pronunciation of that. I am on the silent J tip.

You're a pyjaro. Yes. Rollin' texting me today. Absolutely.

You guys were all sitting around saying, Pajero, and I think the entire audience had just said they're shaking their heads. That's just my two cents.

That could have been staff feedback for you. Did you get that staff feedback?

I have never so more validated than when the Anthony Sarah Italian speaker was like, no, it's Kuntosh.

And I was like, I agree. Anyway, there's lots of cars with debate.

But I did the skip 15 words seconds when you guys were all like, Pajero, Pajero, Pajero.

It just makes me think of pajamas. I don't think it's right.

Maximum cringey. I will spit my coke out.

We do. Just announced L.A. I was telling you how much I like the font on our announcement.

L.A. is in sort of west side, like up a T.O.

Thousand Oaks area, isn't it? T.O. That's correct.

Cool. Mike Malamute kindly opening up his museum to bring a trailer attendees,

folks who are BAT users, part of the community aspect of our site,

as you get folks like Malamute willing to open up.

It's so great. Malamute has like a car collection and stuff.

He's bought and sold of the years and it's like made a museum of it.

It's the Malamute Auto Museum. It's so great.

Which I've actually never visited and had many times together with Mike Malamute

and his wife that couple of their cars, they've come to our events,

seen him at other Pebble Beach events and different things.

Anyway, great folks, but also great cars that he's bought on BAT.

If you should go look at his account, right? Isn't his account his name?

Or is it in Malamute? It's in Malamute.

Early days of BAT auctions.

I mean, he was one of the most prolific, right?

I mean, buying and selling like crazy.

And I've wanted to have vacation spot in Palm Springs.

But you're going to yank the other kids from their school

for the surrounding weeks.

And we're going to be shipping them back and forth.

We're going to test the non-inverg Idaho program.

and it's like beach Hollywood party.

Anyway, that event is going to be exciting.

We definitely need to do something fun.

And we're partnering with folks down there.

That is a conjunction with one of our local partners.

We're using their facility.

We're really excited to work with them.

We have a lot of staffers in Florida.

A lot of sellers in Florida.

It's like our number one place we've wanted to get to that we haven't yet for an event, I think.

Absolutely.

Picking the right venue.

Now that we have local partners down there and multiple.

It gives us some optionality.

We were always like, do we do it at like a big race event or something?

But partners are excellent way to go.

So no, I'm super excited for that one.

Sure amount of cars on the AT that come out of Florida.

So we got that happening.

That's really exciting.

May we will be back at the quail motorcycle event.

Have you gone to that back?

We have a lot of moto staffers at the company and obviously still a tremendous amount of motorcycle.

So we'll be doing that one again.

It has rained the last two years that we've been there.

So it won't rain.

It won't rain.

You can't get three in a row.

You can't bet on red or bet on black three in a row in May.

You got to hit.

You got to hit eventually.

We'll hit some sunshine.

Well, I was running that event still, I believe.

And obviously the quail motor sport scattering, that one is immense.

The motorcycle one is if you're deep in the moto world.

If I walk down there, they'd kind of size me up and be like,

you don't actually know how to kick start a bike to you.

Totally.

But I'd still like to see it.

There's some beautiful stuff there.

And then a lot of our users are hardcore in the moto world.

And what's it?

20 and 30 or more.

The moto is live at any one time.

It's easy to do.

Yeah.

It's huge amount.

You go ahead and fight out.

Low stats.

But anyway, the beauty has been jamming in terms of listening motorcycles.

And a lot of them show up there as alumni.

They sure do.

I believe there was aerial square four alumni talk.

Yeah.

You're deep because you're dad into some weird bridge stuff.

Yeah.

But they get out British American, Italian.

They get a bunch of interesting stuff.

Is there a French motorcycle maker?

French beer.

Weird cars.

That's there must be.

There must be, right?

We're bull talkos or Spanish, right?

Spain.

There must be.

I can't think about talking about it.

We got to dig some up.

Yeah.

Somebody will reprimand us after having this conversation.

Great.

And tell us all the French motos.

But are there?

There must be.

It has to be one of those diehard groups though.

Because of the last two years with rain.

And yet they still showed up in droves on motorcycles.

It was busy.

Yes.

Last year in the pouring rain, right?

At that event.

So anyway.

Shout out to Christian, our colleague, who's in laws, live in France.

He's married to a French woman.

And they're big motorcycle riders.

He said, they all ride BMW.

Yes.

It's not a French bike.

Right.

Oh, yeah.

That's why we're kind of spinning.

Yeah.

Portland in June, that'll be in conjunction with our local partner, Avalon Guard, 911-R, they

have facilities in both Portland and Scottsdale.

We've done an event at their Scottsdale facility before but the original, the OG of our

guard is up in Portland and there's a big community up there.

A lot of BAT fans, a lot of sellers up there.

So that will be in June.

Really excited about that one too.

Portland DF, let's go.

It's going to be great.

A ton of good cars.

It got really interesting in BAT's history of people selling.

cars. Some really great sellers for whatever reason came out of that zone. And so people

started saying like, what's going on in total rigging? Like, why are all these cars coming

out of Oregon? And obviously, somebody's just the people behind it. But some of it's the

climate that has preserved a lot of cars. If you want an 80s or 90s cars with a bunch of

plastic in it, like you don't want one that was in Arizona for 40 years, you want one that

was in some shade up there. Danworks digs up dead. Well, that's what I mean. Danworks pulls out all

these cars and Cascadia. Cascadia. Those are some names from people that still have cars.

I was looking, I watched a Cascadia. I get alerts when Cascadia lists a car because they do a great

job. And he gets preserved cars from like the 40s and 50s, but it's so good. And I don't even know

if he pulls from only his geography, but but those guys in the early days, people are like, what is in

the water up there? Because there's so many good cars. And then 9.11 are like boomed and

like started getting all the modern stuff and great stuff up there. So anyway, Oregon has

cool cars. And you've got a Craigslist Portland. And had an uncracked dash in an E28, 535IS,

like find another one of those, you know? So that's a great zone. If you're hunting around for cars,

and we have a lot of sellers there, and therefore a lot of alumni up there. So we will go see them.

A second chance for us to go see Matt. That's right. Two events. That's right. That's right. In case

you're not noticing the theme, everything is in conjunction with local partners, which we found

is just a really awesome way to, there's this kind of logistical advantages to it, but also just

an awesome way to hang out with somebody that we love. It's like visiting family and other

totally totally. So the biggie that I want to talk about is not in conjunction with a local partner.

And that is Road America. This is going to be our big flagship event of 2025. That's in July

in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. Wisconsin, baby Midwest. We're going to West. Yes, absolutely. I love it

out there. I've not been to that event or that circuit. I spent a lot of time in the Midwest,

but haven't been there yet. So I'm really looking forward to it and can't wait to get out there.

I know a bunch of staffers are coming. The racing there is super cool and very historic. We're just

talking about those cobras listed in selling and racing the early cobra races that happened at

Elkhart Lake. They also have some sort of festival atmosphere on the evenings, which we're a part

of. Is that right? Right. So we're doing, this is another kind of new thing for us. We're doing a

two-fer. So we will be one of the main sponsors and we'll be out at the track on Saturday. Our

setup is right at the famous Kink in the kind of backstreet where people are flying,

talk gear through the, through that little bend in the backstreet, but Friday night. So we'll

Friday and Saturday nights. They have events in downtown Elkhart Lake, the little town adjacent to

the track. And Friday night, VAT will be title sponsor for the, I think they call it the racecar

parade, but basically all the race cars drive over from the track and park around the town square.

That's amazing. And it's just a zoo. And I can't wait to have us. I'm ready for that.

We're ready for that. We're going to have, what's the beer that everyone drinks? Is that what it's called?

Oh no. Not sure. I don't know if you're allowed to drink Michigan beer in Wisconsin or if you

could punch in the face. What are they going to have? They're hyperregional. That's for sure.

Yeah. Yeah. Totally. What was the, what was the big beer at your school?

Your Illinois? Yeah. He's stolen light.

Listen, but she has been qualified. It doesn't qualify. That doesn't qualify. Anyway, we'll have

some fun out there. Excited to see folks. And hopefully that draws folks from not only Wisconsin,

but all over the place. Yeah. I'm really looking forward to that one. You can be able to make that one

back. I have to look into it. What's the data that want to get? July 19th. I want to say.

bunch. We need some people to give us some better ideas, local ideas. When I was out there for I,

our Iola, then a couple of years ago, I went to everyone kept talking about culverts,

the local fast food that everyone loved. And I following went to one. It was great. I loved it.

Those are in California. Did you know that? There's culverts here. I've never seen one.

They're pretty far west. They're certainly into Nevada. I think they're California too.

I think you know, but like deep like like Central Valley. Oh, this is like the eastward expansion.

I got to do this too. Creeping into in and out like sleeping into Tejas. Yeah. In and out.

Putting up a facility in Tennessee. I only have some mixed feelings about that. I know. But it's

it's progress. Progress. It needs spread in the words. It was inevitable. I suppose.

Anyway, I need to look that up and verify whether culverts is actually here. It's in Idaho. That's

for sure. I drove by. Oh, interesting. I saw the Idaho opening up their first in and out. It was

like eight hour line. They have. Yeah. They have it in out. Number four, 50 or whatever.

There's so many of those crazy. They're at 450. Man. Well, I'm excited about all those boys.

And we definitely have a few more events in the back half of the year. We'll probably do a European

event. In fact, we'll almost certainly do one. So more announcements to come encourage everyone

to keep their eyes on the calendar and on the site for the announcement. And come join us.

Like the events are super fun. So I want people to come out to them more and more. The more

the minute we need to do. Give people merch. We're going to give people preferred parking at the race

track. I get that. Absolutely. Give people a high five of Mike Malibu. Celebrity car owner,

extruded air. The last shot I saw of the inside of his museum. It is like jam packed. It is

like door to door bumper to bumper. So I'm excited to see it. Shotgun rides with Northwest Stig

in Portland. Oh, man. Terrifying. Yeah. I don't know how I can do that. Yeah, I don't know if I

can do that. But I'll watch. Totally. He's a bit of a candle to see the 44th is live. And now all

the details are present. Yes. It's a great car. What's the bidding on it? We jumped to like 75

pretty quick. Yeah, it got going really quick. I'm actually in a day or two. Nice segue. It's on

my watch. No, no, no, bidding is only at 50 grand. Okay. Amazing car, though. I know you and I were

and you and I were kind of weren't wondering if it was faux patina. Turns out it's like an

unrepainted body, which just makes it that much more awesome. Yes, sir. Anything else on events before

we pivot? I'm ready to start talking 40 forwards. Becks like I'm taking my headphones off and walking

there are trivia, trivia corner over here in trivia corner. There are 17 French motorcycle

lakes. Okay. I am. But hold on. Pujot counts for two of them. How does that? That's Wikipedia

quality control right there. So there's actually 16. I've never heard of any of them except for two.

So they are deep cuts. I'm not an authority on this, but Motobacane or Motobacane. I thought I

actually thought that was Italian. That's a bicycle crossover. If you're in the bicycle world,

you hear that brand. Yeah, yeah. I've heard of that one. I've heard of Pujot, obviously, in the rest,

a sureco, a scorpba, a tarot. I mean, it's all super deep. Is it old stuff? Like,

like, it's got to be old. Which of these are presently in operation? Probably zero. Right.

18 French motorcycles have been listed on BAT. Yeah. What are they? I just went to the results page

and I searched under a category of motorcycles and it went to origin, France, and it whittled it all

down for me. There you go. That's why I should have gone back using the website correctly. Exactly.

Well done. Give a little lecture on the website. How'd you get here? Definitely some Motobacane. Yeah.

It's the Italian. You want to say it like an Italian? I don't know. They definitely look like

glorified bicycles. There's something in the 50s, a lot from the 70s, very 70s French

malaise area, if you could say, high-tax rate on gas, which I didn't put together as

think I'm wrenchy. It's the carb company making a motorcycle. The Germans would never put

French carburetors on it. That doesn't work. No, it's a lot less. Anyway, there's a lot of

crossbreeding going on. In Alpin, I've never been able to totally do that whole thing. Anyway,

we're showing that we don't know the French motos segment very well, but anyway, it's fascinating

to look at that there's so many manufacturers and most of them are gone. You and I were in

France looking at motorcycle displays and it was all Japanese. It was Honda. Yeah, they were all,

Honda's and Ducati's and whatever else. That's fine. That's an amazing one here though. I

got to say it's 52 motos, Narcissé, tandem motorcycle, double tandem bicycle.

Hold up, so I can see. We have to link to this. It's got to be weird. It's like the

Citroën or Renault gone motos. That is like a scooter though, like a bicycle. Yeah,

a lot of the horses are pretty much a lot of them are scooters. And they're also, if you weren't

sure, they're all at no reserve. Of course. Should we talk Watchlist? Who wants to go first? I've

got so much heat on my mind. This is like what I wanted to talk about. Why don't we knock out the

roof? Hold on. I've got my stopwatch that's only going to let you guys geek out over the roof.

Right now it's also no reserve. Yes. So it's going roof cars going at no reserve on BAT,

which we love. I just love the look. It's 964 Turbo. Roof version, which I don't need more.

I don't need 60 seconds. That's how I need it. But it's narrow body. It's not turbo.

I love it. It's not turbo. It's like a 964, but with a turbo in it like a yellow bird. It's like a

964 turbo yellow bird. Except it still has dripper rails, which is the only thing that I would have.

But RCTEVO was what those were, right? 964 with the big rims with no sidewall and crazy colors and

mods. You like this thing? Yet narrow body on a turbo. I'm very proud. Yeah. But hold on,

you're talking about it like it's a turbo wide car that went to narrow body. I'm talking about

it like it's a narrow car with a turbo stuffed in it. It was standard body. Correct. It's like roof,

because roof is a zone manufacturer, right? So it's like roof's version of a 964 Turbo, which is sick.

Right? Like the yellow bird is roof's version of a 930. This is same thing, but with a 964.

This was also in 91. That's still would have been the 3.3 liter, like the 930 motor,

but this is the 3.6. 40 seconds. By the way, we're 40 seconds to finish it off, land the plane.

We're going to leader displacement. So this was, I mean, this was essentially the 3.6

tar, but a few years ahead. It's amazing. Look at these seats, dude. These seats are like offensive.

Look at the wrong seats. They're in like a good way, though. No, look at them. Look at this,

shoulder versus side bolsters. Yes. The side bolsters are insanity. Come on. Give me that much.

Everything that roof does. I'm just in favor of like it's, I don't know. It's like I disagree.

sells for. Roof cars bring a lot of hash sometimes. I mean, they're kind of all over the place.

Like we have one huge roof result. And then guys like, oh, well, mine also must be worth two

acts when I thought that, you know, they're, they're the real ones with, I mean, a real roof.

That's hard. Like bolt on parts, not as much, but like a real one. Come on.

But this is a lead conversion. Yeah. So I get that. That's the thing about a roof is it's like hard

to determine what's what is what's the roofiest roof, right? Like it's a little town.

But 25 years. So you could bring it in. I love those cars. I've been following that market

for a good long while. It's not on our WRX or our STI page. Just take it and press it because

it's such a deep cut. It's in the impression of weird, weird one. It's not technically either of

those other things. Oh, interesting. Oh, God. The Ford or that great. We said we say STI in it.

I'm confused on all these things. Is that a roof scoop? What's the thing on top?

Our OOF, not our UF. That is a roof scoop.

That's some sort of air vent on the owner. Yeah, they did that. They just got a little

out of the car. It gets a fresh air inside the cabin. Anyway, super cool car. I like that you're

following that back. Did you have you ever driven or owned an impressive never owned one? I

buddy of mine had a much later WRX that I drove around. I wasn't that impressive, but this one

plays the part perfectly. When I was in high school, everyone would buy these non-treats and try

to make them as WRX as they could get them, right? Including even adding turbo kits and stuff.

But we got a much more humdrum car here. It's not always liked of the sedan better than the coupe.

I know a lot of people like the coupe better, but I like the sedan. Good car back.

Can I feed one more real quick? How many days left on that? Are we talking all about cars

that are going to be done by the time people hear this? That's a good point. This one ends tomorrow.

This one ends tomorrow. The roof also ends. Maybe I actually have a lot of results. I want to talk

about those two. One more. So sort of a friend of mine, but he also built the second place finishing

at PCA autocross car in the nation a couple years ago. I think Mike Guzman. He's a

avid PCA here in the city. He has his 914 race car live on the site with the delivery on it right

now. A yellow and red. It's a 74 914. I saw that. I saw that come with trailer.

Guzman built this himself. He's a former photojournalist here in San Francisco as well. He

shot for the examiner for a long time. And he had for a long time kind of a very projecty looking

prototype kind of 914 like windscreen cut off like everything you have to do in order to just

maximize results at autocross. And in all the lessons he learned from that, he built this car.

And now he's sort of getting out of the game retiring from it, but he went to nationals on his first

build and got second place. And he was photographing PCA. Is this the championship car?

This is not the change. Okay. This is what he built from scratch after learnings from that

champion. Gotcha. So this is a little bit more comfortable. You've got a windscreen now.

Yeah. I was going to say a lot of the ones you see that are champions. They chop it all off. So

they look just like a brick driving around. Although I don't know if I've ever seen a wing like

this on a 914. It's a pretty obnoxiously large wing, but he's all about a lap time on autocross,

right? It's all about maximize. And if you're in that category where you've got sort of unlimited

class modifications, it's worth it. Did you guys know anybody in high school or whenever that

took a race car like that and tried to go back to street with it? But it was always sort of a

supermodded out car like that. And about anybody in high school that had a 510 that was like full

on like ITC's back or whatever. Like it was gutted into your cage like pop-off steering wheel,

like missing windows, the whole thing. And it's like played it and like drives that around on the street.

Did you do which is great insane? Yeah. But did you guys ever have anybody's like that in high

school like auto shop class? Not a buddy, but I've had sellers who come in the door with their

whatever race car. And they say it's got a title and they're wondering like what little do I have to

do in order to make this like street device. And it's like that's quite a long list. We've

listed cars like that for sure. I have... I don't... I often think about you in this case right?

Do you have some pretty racy cars where I'm like, oh Randy probably wants to make that a little more

streetable? I mean the Falcon a little bit. It's got a little bit. A little bit. I wonder what you're

going to do with that Mustang though. Nice door panels and roll up glass windows and the whole thing.

But like I wonder how many like spec meadas like are put back to the street and they're just like

trash. Little car. People are totally pulling up and like taking it to get smogged.

You know the race car has been a race car for a while. They're like destroyed.

They're destroyed. It's like puts... You know, but rivets are so...

But there's like their body mailed. Yeah, they're cheap. So if you're kind of got to get into a

fast cheap car, you're like some X race RX-7 and put it back on the road. Anyway, I respect it.

Yeah, I think it's insane, but I respect it. What we mainly see is people who have gone and I had

many friends do this and I've even arguably done this. People who run too far down the race car

hole with their streetcar and then regret it deeply and for sure that happens. I took too many

parts out of this car and now I regret owning it. Just don't get rid of them. You've got to hold

out of them. You're never going to find a single guy. You're never going back. Once the bolt-on

flares happen, it's really hard to get that mojo back. It's that thing where you think you're chasing

what you want and everything you do makes you a little less happy. But if I just did two more

things, then I'd rather be happy here. That's great. We could talk about some results. I, of course,

Randy. We talked about this in the office was obsessed with the 300G in that white color

parked in snow. I love that car. Did you see that one back? I love those 61-300s. Good result on

that car sold for 50 grand. It did. It did. So for 50. With snow in the picture. What do you mean?

Did you say it was parked in snow? It's parked in snow, which I was immediately like, let me go

look at the underside of this car, but it was actually really clean underneath. And Randy said

something in the office about like more cars need to be taken. Well, it looked beautiful. The car

looked like super elegant and parked outside with a white backdrop. It looked eye-catching, right?

You look at the rest of the people parked in there, like crummy parking. And you're like, come on.

Or even like the beautiful pro voters are like desertscape, but like you're scrolling and you see

somebody parked in a snow scape in a big Chrysler hemi car. Sometimes you gotta stop the scroll.

Whatever stops the scroll and grabs your eye. And they figured that out. 100%. 100%. What about some

results for you back that you saw, either on your watch list or elsewhere? I'm going to lean on

white glove results, but we just had that 1,300 mile 89 speedster. Yes. Just yesterday clothes for

285. That was a great car. It's at 89 speedster record or close to it for us. We've had definitely

I think lower mile ones that may have done better, definitely probably in 22, 23 maybe, but darn near

close, that's for sure. That's up there. For sure. Yeah. Then other one, we had this

Kateram 7 through white glove that didn't sell for some astronomical amount, but what was so weird about

it was. It was an SV variant. I don't know if you've ever heard of these other ones. No, yeah, that's cool of me.

They're like 50% larger. What? Like just literally like they're a physically larger chassis than the

regular one. Like if you look, if you were to look from like in every dimension. Yeah. And certain

or at least the ones that matter so that you can just fit larger people in it, I guess, or you just

have a little bit wider than that. Yeah. Probably wider and a little bit longer wheelbase, but that's

a pretty miraculous change over from the 7. It's just a relationship to a 7.4. Not even, well,

I just had to lean over. I'm like, what are we talking about? How many percent larger? It was

anyway. I mean, they need to fit bigger people in those, but still that's a departure from the

Chapman Pro. Totally. It's interesting how those cars are involved because then now there's a

some Dutch company that makes them right. Don't cover it. Yeah, right. Right. Yep. And it's

we saw those pretty different from a cycle fender in 1959 or four like 50s. Hundreds of horsepower.

Yes. Correct. Right. Which is amazing. Another one that I love that didn't sell and it's

occupying my brain space is that Fully Try 5. I loved that car. That was on my watch. Didn't

hit me. It was a 35. Wow. That light. I know it is like I'm thinking about it. I'm thinking

about it. Well, maybe one more update first in the saga of my Silver NSX, which is still not listed.

So that car say money side by side that car or the 44 that 911 R has listed right. 44. The 44 is

unbelievable. I really love that 44. Yeah. Okay. That I like the track. You don't like all the mods too.

I like to try a chassis and everything. Yeah, but I like the track. The track five is very good.

Very fast to say that. I don't know if I would be quite as fast. That 44 is spectacular. I think

that's one of the maybe the best 44 we've ever had. It's not even exactly how I would build it,

but it's hard to deny that thing. All right. You guys are talking results. I'm still stuck on

some live stuff. Watch list. My watch list is deep. It's the same grade. It makes me so happy.

This is how we've been after. It's a beauty. Yeah. What's your number? How many cars are on,

Randy's watch list? 0 and 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, like a dozen nice,

nice dozen plus or minus two usually. That has to turn over every week to keep that up, right?

So keep the ball in the air. Have we not talked about the GT 40 mark four?

That's not been talked about. It has been spoken of. Not spoken of. It's like 425 grand.

Anyway, it's a very interesting car, right? You got to go read up on it. It's got

170 comments on it and people are chatting about it and I reached out to a guy who has a mark

for one of these later sort of continuation. Mark Forza and Rannet at the Lamont Classic

when I was there a couple of years ago. Great fan of BET and he said, this is a good car. You

should go read into the history of it. It's very cool. So anyway, it is very cool,

but I am full whiplash after that. Next thing on my watch list is a 1994 Chevy suburban

diesel 2500 with 35,000 miles. That was a fire brigade chief truck, which is maybe the best thing.

You'll probably look at that two tone or drive around in. It's like far on top. It's perfect and

it has no miles and the bid is at eight grand. Man, you know, that's the problem. That's the problem

that it's that, but it was the chief. So it probably didn't get beat up too bad. Anyway, I am all

about that. That's a night of a rigger. What's that? No, that's a, that's a man SF. That's a,

that's a drive wherever you want, but there's a little weirdness around people thinking

you're a fire chief. So I don't really know how you manage that. I haven't gotten that far ahead.

That's already just going to circumvent that thing. You can't park corners anymore.

Then have you guys seen the P 1800 or I guess 1800 E third green original owner was a

musician in the grateful dead. Oh my god. No, did you see that? No, that's live right now.

Somebody ought to buy this car. I really wanted it in Texas. I throw the lot number out there so

we can link to it. Whoa, nice, nice lot number. 183,000. Oh, even dead even 183 triple zero.

Ron pig pen, McCurnen. Not familiar with that. Grateful dead. That's the dead member. Maybe

obscure, but anyway, I would he passed when 72. Yeah. And it's a 72 car. So he had it brand new

and for like no time and then it moved on. Those are super cool cars. I'm not a huge dead head,

no surprise to anybody. But I would listen to a few tunes and drive that thing and Scarlett

Pagogna's that thing's rad. Look at that car. Right. That's a coupe on mini light-esque wheels

in dark green, black interior. Are the man is the one that are made in England or is that

the piece? No, then I think it's fuel injection early ones are Jensen in England's fuel injection.

This is a de-jetronic. Yeah, it's an isky cam. Let's go. He's getting dirty. He's getting dirty.

Well, a couple KYBs threw it on that thing. Anyway, I think there's some IPD cars. IPD exhaust.

It doesn't IPD exhaust. Good guest. Good guest. Anyway, that's a very cool car. That's a really

good car. I can keep going on watch lists and then I'll just leave you with a bomb drop. The

Magnum PI 308 sold for 115,000. That's a little mat. That's a little Tom Selic premium on that one.

Some debate in the comments of people saying, prove it, prove it. Is it the real one? There's a note

from Messini saying, these are the chassis in the show and this is the youngest of the chassis

numbers in the show. How many do they list? They must have been in the bottom. There's also some

controversy. Did you guys read this? There's some controversy around. We said in the text,

I think that a fiero rebody was also used in the show and somebody got on and said,

blasphemer. That was never done. But I think we probably mean there was they probably had

like a big accident in the show when they do it on a fiero. But somebody was like, how dare you

say any of the Magnum cars were not a Ferrari and we said it in the text. I don't think it was

the seller. I think we said it. Interesting. And I'm sure they rolled it or it would blew up

or they cut it apart to do interior shots. They did that with the general leaves. I've seen a picture

that was like 20 general leaves. They're so big. So many, but the fact that they did it. Correct.

Yeah. It was what was disputed. It's not that there were a bunch of them, but more than it was fake.

But anyway, I don't. I don't know. And also I'll say I'll say quickly. They listed the chassis

number that the car has history being yellow. They're supposedly Rick, you know, Rick from that show.

He like bought the original car or whatever. Anyway. And he said it was red. This one's yellow.

So anyway, there's some. There's a very vibrant. How many comments on that one?

2019. Yeah, 200 comments that people kind of arguing over whether it was legit or not. And I

don't know where they landed. That's BAT. It's best. I love that stuff. It was pretty great.

44 bids and 219 comments and whoever ended up winning it, which I should also go with 31,000 views.

Anyway, what a fascinating deal. And it's one of the chassis on the list of Magnum cars,

allegedly, I'll lean out there and say allegedly. I don't know. I think it's pretty legit.

Compared to how many people do you think drive around in GTS 308s and claim it's one of the cars?

Yeah, there's a hundred owners claim it was in the show. That's the most common most common claim

about a red 308 GTS. Yeah. I love that one. Anyway, that was a fun one. Speaking of just quick

anecdote about all our colleagues again being in the office last week, we put on we bought a projector

and I did my dream finally and I put Le Mans. You can just stream it off YouTube. So we're just

streaming Le Mans up on our projector downstairs and people while they were like eating and drinking

would sit down and just watch it. And a lot of our younger colleagues hadn't seen it before.

So, you know, they're asking questions about it and there's that big crash scene and they re-bodied

some like Lola T70s and then wrecked them. But you can see in the slow mo the Ferrari or 917

bodywork pulls up and you can see the yellow Lola bodywork. Yeah, I'd forgotten about that whole thing.

I didn't remember that part. We can do that with good wood next time as well.

That's Randy's dream. We used to have that run in as you remember in the office. We'll do it on

the projector for sure. All right, Gents, anything else? Parting shots? Other cars on your watch list?

Oh, man. I mean, we can talk another 40 minutes if you want about the 29 Cobra black car. Oh, yeah.

Real Cobra. You read up on that one. I read I read into the story on that one. Pretty cool history.

Pretty cool spec. 29 Cobra's slab side is pretty impressive. That's the one. That's the one for

me. Is it? There's a lot better than one lot of you like a flare. You like flares. I'm not totally

against flares. Just no, there's so many with so many different stories and the whole, you know,

a rack and pinion car versus this car versus leaf spring car, all the different variants of the

Cobra's. It's just cool to see them listed in a thorough way where people can discuss it, right?

You see an auction catalog sometimes and you're like, wait, how many re-bodied these? Like, what are we

talking about? And even if that's true on BET, it kind of gets talked about and outed and

discussed in a transparent way. So it's great to see real Cobra's, real Shelby's, real other stuff

being talked about. And hopefully people don't sit back and murmur in the background. They

actually participate and make it clearer for the buyer and all of posterity. 100%. Did Tom

select that car or not? Let's get to the root of this, right? So anyway, interesting. Another

one that I was following was the Good Your Blimp auction, a charity auction for a ride in the Good Your

Blimp, which got some pretty hot bidding closed for 34 grand for a couple of people to go take a ride

in the Good Your Blimp down in Florida, which is pretty rad. I don't like heights, but that was

desirable to me. Yeah. I would have loved to have won that. Yeah. That's one of those experiences

that also permeates beyond automotive enthusiasts. Yes. You can say that to anyone in your family.

And if you say I was on the Good Your Blimp, the immediate recognition. They know what you mean,

it's rad. I think of the road and track Good Your Blimp road tests that they did in the old days

when they those give you as the little one wheel under the god, they took it through the slalems.

I can see that in my head back as a former pilot. You will appreciate this. I had a buddy who

rode well, I don't think it was in the Good Your Blimp, but it an ad blimp. And he said the way they

get to altitude is they just pit from zero airspeed. They just pitch it up and drive it up.

And if you're a pilot, you're like, this is going to stall. Like that's like every feeling in

your body is like, this is not okay. And that's just the way you climb in a blip, which is amazing.

Yeah, with your CG in your center of lift being in such improper, unnatural places.

Like every alarm bell is ringing. Was that for one person or a couple people are 10 people

or what? Two people. But you had only had about 10 seats in it, right? Yeah. And I believe also

no bathroom. Yeah, I think the new one does. The new ones are little little load facts.

But the new ones are zeppelins believe it or not. They're made by the zeppelin company and

their semi rigid. They have like a keel inside the envelope up above. And the thing that's

the big advantage there is the motors. If you remember like blimps in the old days, the engines

are down on the gondola. So you're inside the cabin. And the whole thing about a blip is it's

quiet except the engines are right there. But now they're mounted way up on the sides of the envelope

and it makes it much quieter and more interesting to ride on. Exactly right. And then I think there's

a third engine in the tail where it gimbals, the propeller like gimbals. Yep, exactly. We use the term

dirigable. And I only cop that on like the fourth day. And I was like, that's not right. And of

course, a commenter was like, that's not right. Yeah. Fantastic. And that's educate me. I'm

an idiot. Educate me. Why is that not right? It means fully rigid like an airship like the

Macon or the Akron or the Hindenburg, right? Where it's a structure, a metal structure. And you

can take all the, there has airbags on the inside that you fill up with helium or hydrogen that

elevates it. But you could take those airbags out and you would hold its shape. But a blimp is not

rigid. If you lose it, it just deflates. There you go. Yeah. And and there has been a dirigable. And

I don't know. Since the introvert. Correct. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Yeah.

Interesting. Yeah. Unrelated though. Unrelated. Unrelated. Actually, the American

airships, like the one that was in the big hanger down there in Moffat Field, that was filled with

helium. So not not hydrogen. Anyway, that's a topic for a different day. Anything else, Jens?
