late braking
Late braking means waiting to press the brakes until the very last moment before turning, so you can go faster on the straight part of the track.
Late braking is a driving technique where the driver delays applying the brakes until as late as possible before entering a corner, maximizing speed on the straight and improving lap times on a racetrack.
