spotter
A spotter is a person who helps the driver see where to go, especially in tricky situations. They stand outside the vehicle and tell the driver what to do to avoid getting stuck or hitting something.
In off-road driving, a spotter is someone who assists the driver by providing guidance and advice on navigating difficult terrain. They help the driver avoid obstacles that may not be visible from the driver's seat, ensuring a safer and more controlled driving experience.
