Scout Motors Lawsuit: Volkswagen Dealers Challenge Direct-to-Consumer Sales Model

Scout Motors has collected an estimated $15 million in reservation fees from roughly 150,000 customers through direct-to-consumer sales bypassing the dealer network.

Two more Volkswagen dealers filed lawsuits seeking class action status to block Scout Motors from selling directly to consumers in federal court in Virginia.
