And you've got that carbon fiber spoiler

and the door trims as well.

to the note what to match up
and to marry up with the styling

So if you know that kind of on the GT line
especially you've got that three claw mark
down below the headlights
and you've got that lovely grill
that blends into it.
And you have the seamless windows
with the body coming up to the glass
rather than the rubber seal.
And so yeah, the styling has become
much more in line with the new design language
for Peugeot.
So if you think of the 308 and the 508
now the 308 and the 308 SW
are going to be much more to that
within the Peugeot design family.

Semi stats, first of the month
so that means Semi stats are out
and another big month for electric vehicles
which is always music to Nevo's ears.
Anyway, not always the media's ears.
I put a little post up on social media
that we still aren't getting the recognition
when the numbers are going the right way.
But the first month that the numbers
aren't going to be matching
on last year's numbers,
they'll be all over.
So watch and mark my words.
So the Semi, S-I-M-I
is the society of the Irish motor industry.
EVs up August versus August of 69%.
PH EVs up 68% versus August of last year.
Petrol sales are down
23%.
Diesel sales down 23%.
And hybrid sales down 27%.
So you can see where that 69%
is going from petrol, diesel and hybrid
over towards electric vehicles.
Electric was the most popular fuel type
in August.
And also the most pop,
more popular than diesel now in 2025.
40% of the car sold in August
had a plug socket on it
with one and three being electric year on year.
EVs are up 37%.
And PH EVs are up 55%.
Top five models for August
are the BYDC Line 7.
I think it was a delay
and I think somebody tagged me on Twitter
or X there recently
or one of the social media platforms
to say how they were from outside of Ireland
and they were asking
how are BYDC sales in Ireland?
Was there a bit of a slump?
And I said I think it's just
they haven't got the stock
and it looks like a big boat has landed
and BYDC Line 7.
Great size, great value.
Number one for August
over 200 units sold.
Should go to LROC number two second place.
Volkswagen ID3 and third.
Tesla Model Y and fourth
and the Hyundai Insta are still
holding on there in fifth place.
And again, I think it's a supply and demand issue.
I think whenever they get stock
in Hyundai they are flying it.
Volkswagen ID4 like it's blown me away.
It's great to see it.
And they're a real
focus on fleets and company cars.
I know the team of Volkswagen
are really focusing on that
which is great.
So people coming out of
PASATS originally and cars like that
aren't going into the ID4s
and it's working for them
because if it didn't work
for company drivers it wouldn't work.
So great to see it.
And I start to see
lots more of LROCs around the place.
Looks great with that tech deck
on the front of it.
So sign my stats out
as always great to see it.
And they're saying now
with that momentum
that it is really showing
that there is an appetite
for electric vehicles
and the government
need to take this into consideration
and really consolidate
this built up momentum now
and think about in the budget.
We've looked for salary sacrifice
in the past.
We've looked for confidence
in the benefit kind
and longevity
and putting real confidence
in the marketplace
and giving rather than a year
to year update
and our extensions
put it down for two years,
three years, five years
so that company fleets
can say yes
we're going to go with this now
because we can see the tax implications
staff and employees
can see what's going to happen
with regards to benefit and kinds
rather than this slide and scale
and is it common, is it go
and what is this?
If you make it cost effective
for employees and employers
and business owners
it shows you
you can look at the United States
and the United Kingdom
people are driving EVs
and it's working for them
but the fact that they're able
to salary sacrifice it
as well against their salary before
and their taxes taken out
it's a winner for everybody.
