No, no, no, no, no, it's not that. It's new. No, no, no, you're not doing it properly.

Oh, that's a classic. I won't divulge where that came from because, you know, all right,

so let's get caught up on some of the best news stories that you might have missed over the

past few weeks, months, maybe on some of these Jeep will celebrate its 85th anniversary this

year, well, in 2026. And it plans to celebrate by releasing 12 special edition vehicles on the

12th day of each month as part of this new 12 for 12 initiative. And the first one that they

announced was the return of the 392, although it's not the Rubicon 392 like mine, this is the Moab

392. And there's a few differences. The Moab 392, the first difference is it's about $20,000 cheaper,

which is more in line with the the price I paid for my 23. And that's a big deal. So you can get

into a Moab 392 for 2026 for $81,990, which includes the $1,995 destination charge. Again,

that's $20,000 cheaper than the 2025 Wrangler Rubicon 392, which started at $101,990. Wow,

that's huge. And I've been saying for a while that Jeep's gotten a little bit greedy. I think a

lot of manufacturers have and the prices were just crazy. But you do lose some content on the Moab.

And it's not a lot. So I know somebody's going to be like, Hey, Holman, did you know this was

coming when you got yours? I did. And I didn't want to wait, the 392 is not certified for California

yet. There's going to be a little bit of a wait, it will be as well as for those states that follow

the California emissions rules. So I didn't want to wait. And there's some things on the

Rubicon 392 that the Moab 392 doesn't have. I just wanted the Rubicon like I had,

it has all the things I wanted. So I pulled the trigger knowing what was coming. So the differences

are the seats are going to be slightly different. There's no embroidery for Rubicon 392 doesn't

say Moab 392 on the seats. The flares are not painted and it doesn't have the tailgate compressor,

although I didn't order that on mine. And it does not have a front winch. So there's quite

a few things that does have a body color top though. Overall, that's not a lot of decontenting.

It's pretty darn similar. What I had originally heard is the Moab because it's not a Rubicon might

not have a front locker, but this does have the front locker does have the all wheel drive

has the same power rating. For all intents and purposes, it's the same vehicle. So

kudos to Jeep for bringing up a more affordable 392 but also making it a little bit different

than the 392 that came before with Rubicon trim. Oh, and one more thing, it does come with the 35

standard with the 456 axle ratio and with all Jeep Wranglers and Gladiators does have the

big 12.3 and screen which I freaking love, love, love, love on mine. The only optional equipment

would be the Sky One Touch power top, the 8000 pound winch as an option and the all weather

floor mats. Keep in mind the winch from Jeep is a little bit different than the standard Xeon or

the XD. It actually has less line on it. It's got a narrow spool. So I think most people are going

to be better off just getting the winch they want for it rather than getting, you know, standard like

it was on mine. Anyway, there's a couple of new colors as well. The deep purple rain color is

coming back this year and then Goldilocks, juice, Earl gray and return of Tuscadero as in pinky

Tuscadero also comes back new across the entire line is there's a new enhanced door hinge system

which quickens the door removal process. I guess it doesn't use the torques anymore.

So that's different as well. Anyway, that's number one for the 12 of 12 and number two was

recently announced and that is the white cap model. So if you guys have seen the retro Broncos with

the bright colors and white accents, so that's basically the same idea as the 2026 Jeep Wrangler

white cap and the white cap has a heritage influence. The press photos are cool. It's the

juice orange color and the top is white. There's a white 1941 hockey stick graphic along the belt

line. The Rubicon graphics are white and the one thing that's kind of cool is it does the painted

grille surround and it's white no matter what color you get. So there's a bunch of white

accents. It looks cool. It's retro wheels don't look retro. I think Jeep missed the boat on that.

I would have loved to see a different wheel that was painted white as well or maybe the

so the 1941 that has the aluminum wheel that looks like the steely. I think that in white

would have been perfect on the white cap. So they missed about a little bit but for anyone who loves

that kind of retro look, it's pretty cool and it gives something a little bit different. And again,

the top is painted arctic white. It's not just a mold in color. So it looks sharp. I like it a lot

and so that's number two. So coming up on January 12th, we get the third drop and I think you guys

know what's coming at some point during the year, the 392 Gladiator. I think there's probably

going to be some other special editions that I think are going to be pretty cool and there's

some stuff I have no idea about. Going to be an exciting year for Jeep. Congratulations to the

Jeep brand for doing some cool stuff. Our last bit of news is if you are interested in the white

cap package, you can order it today. It's $495 on top of Rubicon X. It's $2690 on top of a Sahara

and it's $3185 on top of a Rubicon which adds the body color fender flares and body color

hard top and this will be a limited run. So get yours while you can. Next up is the return

of the very limited production Hemi-Helifant Crate engine. So I think when we talk to America's

most wanted, Jared over there, I think he said that he bought the majority of those for his

builds and I actually got to drive one and it was a Wrangler Helifant powered 1000 horsepower,

America's most wanted Jeep and oh my god, it was incredible. I drove it in the rain and it was

just silly. So production on those was really limited. I don't remember if it was like 100

engines or something like that, but it was really limited. They ended production and I remember

talking to people in the industry who wanted to use them for projects and they're very hard to come

by and very expensive. Well, Mopar's Direct Connection has re-released the Helifant A30

Crate Hemi. It's back on sale now and it's 1000 horsepower factory engineered. It's a little

bit different than the one that came before it. So here's what's kind of cool. It's a 426

Supercharged Crate Hemi and output is 1000 horsepower and 950 pound-feet of torque,

fully engineered and it starts with a new Gen 3 aluminum Hemi engine block. It's reinforced on

the bottom end with select six bolt main caps, which improve rigidity under load.

The cylinders are CNC torque plate honed, which makes sure that they have consistent sealing

and long-term durability, especially with boost. The rotating assembly is built to handle

all of the punishment. So it uses a forged 4340 steel crankshaft with eight counterweights to

reduce vibrations, matching forged 4340 H beam connecting rods with ARP 2000 bolts,

and it also has forged aluminum pistons shoved in it. Wow. The forced induction is an upgraded IHI

three liter, three liter twin screw supercharger spinning through a 3.17 inch pulley. It's got a

Gates drive belt, a lightweight billet belt tensioner and injector dynamics 1050 fuel injectors to

maintain stable fueling. The intake side has high flow aluminum Hemi cylinder heads with

spherical combustion chambers, large intake and exhaust valves and a high performance hydraulic

roller camshaft. And again, 426 cubic inches. It's a 4.125 inch bore and a four inch stroke.

Compression is 9.5 to one. You can run it on premium fuel and peak RPM is 6,800 RPM. Of course,

it's designed for pre 1976 vehicles or race or race only applications. And to ensure that you have

the easiest install as possible, direct connection does have an updated plug and play A30 engine

control kit. It's sold separately, but it's a revised controller that includes an updated calibration

that's been developed for the A30 and it's not compatible with earlier hell offense. And you

have to have a VIN required to complete the purchase. Also, the engine is non returnable. So

what are we thinking? The price of the new A30 Helfen is you ready for this?

It's a cool 34,995 dollars.

Wow, that's a really nice used car, but it's 1000 horsepower Hemi. So that's cool too. Anyway,

The world needs more factory endorsed 1000 horsepower V8s.

You can hear it sucking. Of course, that's because of the blower, right?

This place blows. All right, moving on to our next bit of news.

If you're a Mopar fan and you just heard that Mopar Helfen return news and

on the inside, you're a little bit sad. Let me tell you, there's a way to get 1000 horsepower

Chevy Silverado regular cab to wheel drive truck in your driveway.

That's right. And to top it off, did I mention it also has a manual transmission?

No, I'm not. I'm telling you, this is something that's actually offered from Specialty Vehicle

Engineering. It's the 2026 Yanko SC and it's a supercharged Silverado pickup truck with a manual

six speed and it'll only cost you $89,995 above your donor truck. So here's what you get. Six

speed package content 1000 horsepower, 6.2 liter engine with aluminum block forge 1538 MV twisted

steel crankshaft. It's got induction hardened journals, intermediate pin drills, forged steel

rods and forged aluminum pistons upgrade cylinder heads, upgraded fuel system injectors,

high output supercharger in black with the high flow cooling system includes a boost by a wire

control system and an eight rib serpentine drive conversion. You can get it with a 91 or 93 octane

tune a stainless steel catback, Yanko badge six piston Brembo front brake calipers with 16.1 inch

vented rotors, two inch lower progressive rate front springs five inch drop in the rear with

Fox performance shocks. It's got six spoke 22 by 10 inch lightweight forged aluminum wheels.

You get in gunmail satin black or satin black with a red line stripe and you get the silver

syc center cap, nitto front rear drag radials. You also get a larger diameter heavy duty rear

sway bar assembly and traction bars to keep that thing planted and a ton of badging. So everybody

knows exactly who you are and what you've been up to. So maybe we'll get these guys on the phone,

but if you want one, you can order it now. I think it's awesome. So let's see if we can find out more

in a future episode of the truck show podcast, but dude, six speed manual 1000 horsepower modern

pickup truck. Come on, who's in? Are you in? So I hate to say I didn't get this into my SEMA

coverage, but I wanted to go back to the Ford booth where they debuted both a Maverick street

truck and then also a faster, more powerful Raptor. Okay, cool Raptors rad. Obviously,

have a soft spot and they did a 900 horsepower Raptor R and it's super rad and all those things.

But the truck that I was really into is the 300 T concept, but I believe it's something that

Ford wants to make a package available next year and think of it as like a more Lobo Lobo,

I guess. So it still uses the two liter EcoBoost four cylinder, but this has got a different

intercooler. It's got a turbo out of a Mustang and they bump power by 50 horsepower and 40

pound feet of torque. So now it's all wheel drive 300 horse, 317 pound feet of torque.

And it's just great looking. I mean, I don't even know where to start. It's like a gun metal color,

right? It's got these great looking laced bronze wheels that are 20 by eight. It's got two 45 wide

Michelin Pilot Sport forest tires, which is nuts. And it's super low to the ground. It's been lowered

with I guess the same suspension package as the Lobo. So the Lobo lowering kit. It's got the

Ford performance badging and some other bronze accents, air designed to spoiler on the front

and the back of the cab and the tailgate. It's all super tasteful. But when I'm looking at it,

I'm like, man, that it just looks right. It's got big wheels. It's got the right stance. It's a

rad little pickup. It reminds me of, you know, back in the sport truck days. And I'm telling you

sport trucks, we've been saying on the show for a few years now, sport trucks are coming back from

the factory. Lobo showed up. I know there's other manufacturers in the OE that have some

stuff coming out that it's going to be pretty cool. You've got the Yanko story we just did.

You've got the Ram concept from the Mopar booth at SEMA that we talked about. I mean, it's,

they're coming back. People want sport trucks again. And this is a great way to dabble. Oh,

and it has a Borla catback exhaust on it too. You can go to Fordcustomgarage.com and get the

lowdown on the package, but it's tasteful. It looks great. And unlike the Lobo, which got a lot of

performance enhancements, but didn't get anything done in the powertrain,

I'm loving the 300 horsepower. And I wonder if you won't see that 300 horsepower because it was

done with it to be able to be warrantied and durability stuff. I wouldn't be surprised if you

see a Lobo come with that engine calibration turbo on it. Because to me, I love the Lobo. It was

so much fun to drive, but 300 horsepower would make that truck just next next level. So big fan here.

All right, so there's our patent jingle. I haven't used that one in a while.

The trademark site revealed a line drawing of the 2027 Chevy Silverado, which looks okay. The front

just looks like another version of what's already out there. I think the 1500s look great. This makes

the 1500 look a little bit more like a heavy duty. It's not quite, I don't know, I think the 1500s

look great today and the heavy duties look bad and they look amazing. This kind of brings that

heavy duty look to the half ton. But if you go online, people already started using AI to draw

the truck using the patent drawing. So there's a bunch of drawings out there of the truck. So

anyway, it's kind of cool. It's worth a look. I don't know if I'm going to love it, but there's

a lot of times you see something in drawing where I hate it and then I see it in person

and it looks great. So I'm not saying it's going to suck. I'm just saying that it's not as, I don't

know, it's more of an iteration than it is the next step. So midcycle refresh, it looks fresh or

as lightning you say in his honor, freshy fresh. All right, let's bring you up to speed with a recall.

So here's a brand that hasn't been in recall news in a while, but Toyota has expanded

the engine recall on Tundra, LX600 and GX550. So that's the turbocharged V6 to now 127,000 more

vehicles because they continue to have failures with those. And that's, that's tough. So now the

2024 model year has been added. And apparently it's the same reason that the original batch of

engines was recalled. So they said in the Toyota statement, quote unquote, there's a possibility

that certain machining debris may not have been cleared from the engine when it was produced.

In the involved vehicles, this can lead to potential engine knocking, rough engine running,

engine no start and loss of motive power. So that means that your engine quits on you.

So anyway, this still only affects gas engines, not hybrids. But if you own a 22 to 24 Tundra,

LX or GX, then you should check with your local dealer, or you can go to the Toyota or Lexus

recall websites or Nitsa's recall page for more information. And that'll do it for this episode
