pump gas
Pump gas is the regular gasoline you buy at gas stations. It's what most cars use every day, unlike special fuels made for racing cars.
Pump gas refers to the gasoline available at service stations for public use, typically with an octane rating of 87 to 93. It's the standard fuel used in most consumer vehicles, as opposed to racing fuel, which has higher octane levels and is designed for high-performance engines.
