regeneration
Regeneration is when a car recovers energy when you slow down or lift off the gas, using it to recharge the battery instead of wasting it as heat.
Regeneration refers to the process in hybrid and electric vehicles where the kinetic energy during braking or throttle lift-off is converted back into electrical energy to recharge the battery, improving efficiency.
