The reservoir is the tank that holds the power steering fluid. The pump pulls fluid from it so the steering system can work.
In hydraulic power steering, the reservoir is the fluid tank that stores power steering fluid and supplies it to the pump. It also helps manage fluid level and air separation so the system can operate smoothly.
