start-stop
Start-stop turns the engine off when you’re stopped and turns it back on when you’re ready to go. It’s meant to save fuel, but it makes the car restart more often.
Start-stop is a system that automatically shuts the engine off when the car is stopped (like at a light) and restarts it when you press the pedal or release the brake. It reduces fuel use and emissions, but it increases the number of engine restarts and electrical load cycles.
