All right. iPhone streaming live from my office. Keep messing it up. Let me get on your chat here. Help me out today. I'm solo. So if you're here, now's your chance. Ask lots of questions and help me give me something to talk about. So let's see. Hopefully some of you show up. Let me know also in the comments about the audio. I should have a good audio.
The audio for my iPhone actually works better. And the streaming for my office is way easier. So maybe I should just do this more often. Let's see here. So we're looking good. Audio looks good. Lighting quality looks good. We're good to go. All right. So let's go pop out chat.
Hopefully some of you will show up here. Let me jack the volume a little bit here because it tends to go. Let's go plus five. Let's see if that helps. There we go.
So I got a little more volume for us. I can bring this up to a little bit. Let's try that.
That's that. Thanks for questions. Keep them coming. And I'll kind of work through those live chat. Let's go live. Cool. Okay. Anyway, welcome to my office. I should have an awesome picture of my GT.
My GT4 RS. It's the it's the background here. So it's this thing. Let me show you what it looks like. Close all this. So I ordered an acoustic treatment that looks like this. It's a freaking sick picture. I took him on the garage in my GT4.
And G.I.K. acoustics. I've done this before where I have one from my house in my office in Middleton. I've had it here. It used to be in the podcast room. It's the picture of the GT3 RS.
That's kind of turned sideways like of the front front fender, front three quarter view or something like that. And they killed it. And so I wanted to replicate that and do that here.
And they sent it here in the freaking wheel. Look like an egg. And everything was all blurry. It looked terrible. So anyway, I've got my Samantha Zimmerman photo of the GT4. I was just kind of sitting here leaning up against the wall.
And I got my Jasper. So I bought Jasper's on sale. If you're looking for an awesome, you know, air treatment for your room. I have four of them. Let's see, one, two, three, four, five of them at my house in Middleton, one in each bedroom, one in the home theater, and one in the common area to kind of scrub the air and keep it clean.
It's pretty cool. Like when you cook bacon, my house would smell for like a day, like sucks all that out of the air. They're expensive, but they were on Black Friday sale.
So I bought one for my office and one for Kate's room to kind of finish up the house. And so anyway, my painting, my actual painting is leaning up against the wall here in hopes that G.I.K is going to remake that device or remake my acoustic treatment.
So I hope to hope to do that and get that dial. But my computer setup is pretty sweet. I normally would take my laptop and plug it in. I think I'm going to get the new MacBook Pro and use that as my portable machine.
And then I'm probably just going to leave this MacBook Pro here. This is an M2 Max. So this is a, about this Mac. This is a 2023 MacBook Pro 16 inch M2 Max, 96 gigabytes of memory, four terabyte hard drives.
This was like a 5,000 laptop. But there's two things that I spend money on that don't bother me. One is my cell phone and secondly is my computer. I like to keep them fresh. I like to keep them new. In fact, I've had this one for almost three years now.
So I've just been kind of waiting on some substantial upgrade and there really isn't one. So anyway, this laptop will probably stay here in HQ because I'm going to build another desk. I freaking love desks.
But back in the studio where the sonic and the and the lever rack and the news bomb lifts and all that stuff is I have a desk area on the sonic array. It's a countertop height setup. And so I'm going to set up a desk there. I'm going to do the new 32 inch.
What do they call it? It's like 32. Let me pull up that monitor. LG 32. That's not it. 32 U 990 AS, which is their new 6K 32 inch ultra fine. Now it's only 60 Hertz, but I'm not gaming and watching video on it very much anyway. But it's sort of the answer to the Apple Pro is. I don't want to spend six grand on it because I'm going to use that that monitor as much.
This is the 27 Apple display, which I'm fine with because I do a lot of a lot of meetings in here. So I use the webcam a lot. And then at my house, I haven't my old iPhone 16 is my webcam with the Pro XDR display. So I'd like to try out the LG. It's 2000 bucks for that sucker. But I'd like to try that out.
They do make a 40 ultra wide in the same ill, but that's a 5K 2K. So I think I'm going to do the 32 6K. And then I'll take this laptop back and forth between this office and there.
And in there, I'm going to set up the nano icon or node icon as the DAC and then core fives and core sub compact. Same setup I have at my house.
And then here I have the power node with a pair of Dynodio evoke tens. And I have a sub 18s down here, subwoofer. And so since the garage is a lot bigger, I'll do a little bit more stout system there. But anyway, that's my setup here. But I freaking love my office.
I've got a 65 G5 OLED here. I've got my Dynodio. What are they called? These things. They're called contour legacy, like special addition with two sub sixes. And then I have two Dynodio or an ADC 298 amplifiers bridged.
So I'm getting like a thousand watts per speaker at frickin' sounds great in here. And I got a bunch of acoustic treatments. And that last acoustic treatment will help. And these are some really cheap lights, but they're doing really well. So anyway.
Welcome to my office. BDI desk. I've got my pens and stuff. So I organized here. And then I've got the BDI SQL 20 standing desk there. I don't really stand. But this chair sucks. It's the BDI chair. At least I got it to stop squeaking. It's not a great chair at all. So I wanted to try it.
All right. Coming clearly, man, volume's a bit low. I adjusted that.
And it's because the battery wasn't charged. And it's because the battery wasn't charged. So, you know, what are you going to do?
I just saw that. I mean, I believe those things when I see it. But it looks very LFA-like. I don't know. Be kind of interesting. Maybe the, you know, I'm going to put this on do not disturb because of frickin' phone calls. I can probably just do it from my phone or from my cables. I can probably just do it from my phone or from my computer on C or if it will.
No, I don't know. It's set up the way. All right, about that. And for always forget to put on do not disturb. All right. We should be good now. Check, check, check. Test on two. So some frickin, I get this one call from like Ohio. Calls me all the darn time.
Okay. Still no audio and no audio. That's because the frickin' phone was ringing and it was cutting out. Let me know. Are we back? Yeah. Okay, we're back. Let's try. Thank you. Sorry about that. No more, no more disturbances.
So anyway, yeah, I, you know, maybe a lesson learned. You should have bought an LFA and just hang on to it for 20 years and you'd have, you know, we have a million bucks. But it's, it's one of those things that I'm impatient and unwilling. So I don't know. We'll see.
Let's see. Befraz OO says, how did Black Friday and financially? Yeah, we did really great. We opened up Black Friday for Inside the Hex, the Friday prior, which I hated the idea. I was fine with the Inside the Hex, but opening up for everybody. It's like, well, why don't we just open it up in November first?
You know, it's like then you end up the whole darn, you end up the whole darn year with the Hex going on here. This thing.
Check, check, check. Audio should be good. Refresh, it's workin' fine. Okay. All right. Sorry about that, people.
I'm using the DJI mic. Shirts on. It's green. We're good. Okay. Sorry. Let's stop distracting. But we, we this year, we opened it up to spread it out and that worked really well with the warehouse right now.
We just got like six pallets of K1322s, which will all start going out today and Monday. We're repackaging right now. They're hoping to send a large batch of them out today.
This is part of the reason why I wanted to just send the containers to us. And because when Crenzlick gets stuff, they take too long. And so back in the day, he would take a month to fulfill everybody's orders. And so now we're rolling.
Okay. We'll roll those out. We'll have those all out on Monday. All 1122s came in. So those all went out. So we're doing great. The AR stuff shipped. So we should have it early next week.
I got an announcement. Remind me, I've got an announcement in the comments. I've got an announcement on AR. And you guys are going to be frickin' pumped.
So just be prepared for that. I'll hold it till the end so I can keep you guys here. We'll hold you hostage.
But anyway, we spread it out. We opened it up for everybody on Monday night, Tuesday morning. So Tuesday, we opened it up for everyone. And we did great every single day. It was really remarkable.
We had our best month ever on November. It was our best month ever. We had our best Cyber Monday ever. We had our second best Black Friday ever.
But technically, we had our best Black Friday because Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday was really the Black Friday day. We had the best weekend days ever.
It's the best Saturday and best Sunday. And so I think we eclipsed our high in 2022 by well over a million bucks, probably closer to a million in a quarter, which is frickin' awesome.
And so thanks to all of you for buying stuff. And then thanks to the team for really doing well, the Swiss Tracks promo. We sold like 450,000 dollars for the Swiss Tracks. We sold well over 400,000 dollars for the Sonic.
And then the new launch, I think, is doing pretty well on the Sonic MSS stuff. So it was really awesome. Now I don't know where I ended up financially at the end of that.
So I'm hoping I'm meeting with the team next week to really dig into the details.
One of the things I haven't done as a business owner has been really astute in my numbers. And so I'm going to spend quite a bit of time messing and digging into that.
So anyway, we did great. It was pumped. So that's awesome.
So the, let's see, Maximus VR 46 says, hello from Wales. I'd like to go to Wales. I mean, I'm English, Irish, Scotch, Irish, and German.
I don't know what kind of English, if I'm, you know, Scottish or, you know, I guess English is English and Wales is Wales, right? But do you guys call yourself all English?
I should probably know considering you're my ancestors. But I'd like to go there someday, I guess. I don't know. Not much of a traveler.
How about a high-five giveaway? I think I'm done with giveaways if I can help it. So I think, yeah, I'd like to be successful without them.
I mean, they, they, I felt like I could provide some value to them.
There's some risk involved in doing it. And a risk that you, you know, you don't sell enough stuff. And then you're, you know, cannibalizing sales and selling chotch keys.
And I mean, it's fun. It's cool. But I don't know. I think I'm probably going to stay away from that.
Unless it's some sort of like just, we actually, we don't like sell anything and it's an actual giveaway, not like a, some way to, to generate, you know, income.
It's Ryan asks, oh, J form a 147 order my leader max pumped. Yeah. So I think leader max, we opened up today. It's still floating around that on country, trying to get here.
But I think we opened it up to, yeah, inside the hex members, we call it a pre-order. We're supposed to have it last week. It's here. It's in the country. I don't know what the heck's going on.
And we brought in a limited array like the stuff he actually need. But if you go and you become a hex, hex member, we opened it up for pre-order for them.
And for you, and it'll probably sell it out. We don't have a ton of it. So just keep that in mind. But it is the banner image on the site.
A leader max is up. MSS is up. If you want to go check out the MSS page, the initial page, we're going to continue to make that more robust. But that's up in the pre-configured solutions.
Now, people are freaking out in the comments of the video because the price is $1,000 more than what I said. Well, we decided to include shipping. So anywhere in the lower 48, they ship for free.
And so shipping is somewhere between 750 bucks or 550 bucks and like 2200 or something like that for the really, really big array.
And some place on is going to eat some money. Some they're going to make up for it. But we're rolling and the pricing I'm really pleased with where it turned up.
And if you want to do custom reach out to design, but it's a three-month order time, you know, which some of you, if you have a project going on, maybe not that big of a deal.
Where did my pop-out chat go? Well, there it is.
So where was that? It's Ryan. Have you committed to the Bayside R34 yet? No.
My parts arrived. So I ordered the mountain pass performance suspension. I ordered the rear brakes and the front brakes for the Tesla Model 3.
I want to finish all the projects that I have. So I want to finish the Tesla. I want to get the Bronco Springs done. I want to get the GT3 detailed done.
I want to get the GT4 coated and finished. I'm going to coat the wheels, coat the PPF, take care of the interior, but get it exhaust for that.
So I want to get that all done. And then I'll order the car. The problem is that there's this perfect Bayside Blue R34, which has, you know, low miles.
It's a 4.5 out of 5 on the Japanese quality scale. It's priced right. Hopefully no one buys it, but I want to do this.
I want to turn over a new leaf here and start doing things where I can enjoy it more instead of just panicking and panicking launching into a project and then regretting it and not enjoying the process.
Neil White says, Hey Matt, I was in Florida last week. I can't for the life of me understanding why people don't park in their garages.
It's because they don't have basements. And so they fill up all their crap in the darn garage. So yeah, I don't get it either, but throw your crap away.
But I get it. Most people like their crap. I don't.
Let's see, Jack Kohler 234, he says, Hey Matt, is using a power condition or necessary for home theater, or is just a regular search protector fine looking, looking at the firm and power station for reference. What do you recommend?
Yeah, the firm and power station is really expensive. I have a audio quest, power quest 3.303, I think it says on there.
Really, I like to do the powers conditioners, largely because then I can have more plugs to plug in and it usually looks cool.
And then I feel like a piece of mine, but can you hear a difference? I don't think so. Can you feel a difference? No.
And so I think it's more for a show than it is go. And most of the time, you don't want to plug your amplifiers into it anyway.
And so you want to kind of bypass it. I think this audio quest has a high current amplifier section, but even then, if I was running like a more robust system when I was trying to turn it up.
At my home theater, my firm in there is a 20 ampere firm, but I have to plug the amplifiers and subwoofers directly into the wall because they'll go into protection mode when plugged into the firm.
So it's cool if you look in for an extra component, but I don't think it's necessary.
One of the ultimate hose nozzles back in stock, they won't be. And I think we've eliminated it on the site. I hope so. If not, we need to take it down. Let me look.
Ultimate hose nozzle. I'm not even using it anymore. Yeah, we still have it there. So I'll tell Nick to take that down. We're never going to get them.
We have to buy them in four packs. And anybody, nobody wants this bright green, bright blue, bright red. So it costs us in insane amount of money. So if you want one, just get it on Amazon.
So I think I think that's the best. And the one we're doing is, which we don't have in the site yet, which will be the replacement, is that that dram watering thing that I'm using.
That I like way better that Jeff Franklin recommended for us. And so that one should be up in the store. We have them in stock. It should be up in the store in a couple of days.
Yeah, but the ultimate hose nozzle is, you know, they won't let us buy it in black only.
Let's see Shane says Shane seven seven chick. One says, do you think weekly touchless contributes to why CSI or CSL isn't lasting.
Touchless is almost a deconscope isn't an IPH. No, it's not. That's not the issue. The issue is the embedded, you know, contaminants.
It touchless is a high pH, but not all pH. Let's see, Pete, Pete Amber says not all pH is created equally. And so it's dependent on how you get there with what chemicals.
So, you know, CSL shouldn't be affected by by touchless at all.
But later max, we're going to launch to non hex members when it shows up. Right. And so tomorrow next week, two months from now, as soon as it shows up, it should have been five days ago.
So this is the, you know, the difficulty of getting, you know, European source products here in the US. There's always something funky.
And what you're used to, no one else talks about it like I do. I'm always talking about it way ahead of schedule in order to sell it before it gets here.
So we're going to sell out because we didn't order enough of it. And so we're going to order, I think, like six or eight more pallets of it are going to come.
So what we're going to do is open it up to sell, until we sell it out and then we'll start taking pre-orders and hopefully it won't take as long to get it this next time.
Just picked up three press all to see what the hype is about. What are three products I should put in them.
I don't like that word hype. You know, hype, to me, seems like a disingenuous word. I know what you're saying. I think you'll like them. I mean, they're good. You can put whatever you want in them.
I just wouldn't put a traceless in it, but or some sort of like wheel acid, but they work with everything else to work great. So breakbuster, I put breakbuster, drying aid, and I don't know, invisible glass in it.
Be a good good start. Stephen says, I have the OG drying aid and I'm noticing that it's leaving smear marks on my windows. I've tried two different bottles.
Is this common or something I can do to avoid this? It's probably not playing well with whatever you have on your windows. Some stuff, some glass coatings, or some glass sealants, it doesn't play well.
Make sure you shake it up well, but if you tried, my normal reaction would be well, maybe the temperature in your garage has gone up and down, because it's not super stable when you do temperature changes.
We're not cold enough yet to have problems, but if it freezes and thaws, then I found that it gets funky.
So that's probably not the case, and if you tried two different, then it might just not be playing well with what's on your windows. I have Glaco, the soft 99 Japanese product on my Bronco, and I can't put dry-nated smears crazy.
Let's see how GC1 says does pro-slot or MSS have any cabinet package similar to the vertical slide drawers, like Russo, where you keep your chemicals at your house.
No, I've never seen anything else like what Russo does with the R2V cabinet.
Let's see, audio, audio, audio. I think we fixed all of that.
Everything's good.
Invasion HD says, hey, Matt, any tips when storing a vehicle outdoors under a high-quality car cover in the north of the winter?
Yeah, man, that gets dicey. I would make sure to put some light underneath the car so that rodents don't kind of sneak in there.
So I would want to have, like, back when I had the MSS garage or that garage in the wash bay at the woodgate house, I put fluorescent LED lights underneath the car so that it was lit 100% of the time, and I also had gotten one of those, I did two things.
I put bars of soap around the car, which I guess somebody suggested, and I bought those tone generators that supposedly scared rodents away, but I would make sure also that the car was washed beforehand and then put the car cover over top of it.
If it's going to sit there long term, I'd want to make sure that I've got it very clean, and then I've got some light underneath it, if it's going to be long term.
Okay, hey, Matt, when are you getting the Bosch Polishers? The Bosch guys were just here. Alberta was here yesterday. No, Wednesday with the machines. They are looking to launch in April, so that should be, I don't think I'm speaking out of school here, I think that's public.
So the looking will launch here in the US in April, they're already available in Europe. They have too much vibration, so they're not comfortable to use, but they're very promising.
The 3-inch and the 5-inch 8-millimeter is, has tons of torque, tons of output. They're going to be priced kind of in between LE and, say, America, which I think is nice.
The batteries are great, the form factor looks great. The 3-inch with two batteries, I think, was like 6.79 or something like that.
Again, I hope I'm not speaking out of school here. I hope I'm not speaking and sharing things that can't be shared.
But it's promising, but a little disappointing, and so they haven't launched yet, they haven't shipped yet, so I'm hoping we can fix some of the...
All right, I'm back. Yeah, this one isn't my fault. We have internet outages.
We're going to keep on track, be 100% of not working for lives. Lives are a little more complicated than you think. That's why you don't see people doing a lot of lives.
So let's see. Dig only says, got my press all squeeze bottles today and filled them. They're great.
The first product that I've gotten that is correct from the first go. They're awesome. Really, really awesome.
And you can put touch, I'll say it, and it doesn't see through it. And I'm pretty sure the labels, we have blank labels. If you squeeze it right, I think the labels will work.
JRHO5QM says is OG Canada a bust? Yeah, probably. More to come as I'm trying to figure out how to do it.
It's very capital intensive, especially with the Oterriff issues.
Can you mount MSS cabinets to the wall? I have a six inch ledge in my garage. You could, but you'd have to have some skills.
Like it's not designed to do it. And so what you would probably need to do is to make it work really well.
As you'd probably need to go through the wire pipes. So you'd want to mount and put lags through the wire pipes.
So you'd need to cut your wall, put blocking in, or if it's block, you don't need to go into the block.
So you'd need to pile it, drill through the wire pipes, get everything mounted up.
Actually, you'd probably have to put everything together. Let me think about this.
I mean, you could lag the wire pipes now because you have to go through the cabinets.
I have to go look at the back of the cabinets. It would be tricky, because the backs of the cabinets are not braced.
So I don't know if we have the offers you could certainly do easily. The lowers, I'm going to have to look.
I'll keep reminding me in comments videos, but I'll have to think about that. I'll have to take your deep dive into it.
Fastest shipping item from Black Friday were the lights. I got them in three days. You have the lights. The HE Williams lights were drop shipping immediately, so that's good.
I'm looking forward to the EVO upgrade videos. What upgrades have you got in mind? EVO, I just got the tail lights and headlights today.
So I got JDM EVO 8 headlights. JDM EVO 9 tail lights. I got the EVO 9 front bumper and the lip.
So I just got that back from Jose painted. Then I'm going to do the stereo of some sort. I already have all the stuff.
So we're going to finish the EVO and then decide what I'm going to do with it.
Let's see. We just jumped here.
Let's see.
T-R-A-R-A-C-P. I hope to see Matt slow down on making all these internet chasing moves and get in the 3RS and rip around again.
All things for enjoyment back to basics. It's tricky, man, because I'm responsible for the 30-something humans.
And I'm wired to continue to chase, but I feel like I'm making some strides on that, kind of taking your advice on it.
I decided to sort of mix the whole obsessed home with Wolfsub0 to simplify the design studio and to really focus in on the garage.
And so that takes some weight, focusing on North America, that taking some weight, focusing on not buying too many cars at once.
So I don't do any internet chasing moves. I do what I like and what I'm chasing is myself.
And so there's a lot of things that I'm super interested in and I want to keep chasing them.
I'm interested in the R34, just because I'm interested in it.
So I may pull back on Canada.
How much is the GTR selling for? You dog them a year or so ago? Yeah, I think they kind of suck. And I think I'm probably going to hate it.
I've been dogging R34 forever, I just didn't get it. But I'm starting to get it.
I didn't get the Corvette, and I bought the Corvette, and I hated it, and I still don't get the Corvette.
But I can check that off the list. And so I feel like the R34 is good to go.
The car is going to cost about 200 US. So I think it's like the one I want was 170.
And then you have all the import tariff. You have a tariff. You have the shipping and registration and all that work.
And so the car is about 200. And then I'm going to have about $150,000 build.
So it'll probably be somewhere around in the mid to low 300 range to do it.
Yeah, there is no update on my driving. It's non-existent. But I'm deep into what I've realized in testing.
I bought a keto mojo tester. I discovered Dr. Bos and that Bosworth on YouTube.
And when I think I'm in ketosis, I'm really not.
And so I'm still not in hardcore ketosis, and I'm like six days into pretty hardcore eating carnivore.
So I'm doing a blood test and checking my glucose and my ketones.
And I'm not making a lot of ketones. So I want to get stalled into ketosis.
And I'm going to start driving around a bit. A bunch more.
Yeah, the water breaker from Graham is what the new bucket fillers call.
Ken Joe Hanning, 1163 says, order to switch to actually my two car garage received it in like a week.
Look forward to installing on the weekend. I live in Maryland. So we are one of the few that park our cars in the garage.
That's cool. Yeah, I mean, the key was we had all the team on standby that the purchasing team could get.
And make sure we get all of the orders out. Make sure duo plane is functioning to send the orders out to all of our drop shippers.
And so we are most prepared. I mean, we're what's seven years into this now eight years.
Let's see, 17, 18. I don't think we did anything in 17.
So 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25. So this is our eighth season.
And every year we learn something new and do things a little bit quicker.
When can we get a hold of the press all squeeze bottles and OG stickers for spray bottles in the UK?
I don't know.
We're going to turn it loose here. And I just signed my agreement with press all.
And so dealers should be able to start reaching out to them soon and buy press all pro series.
And so what we're going to do, what I was planning on doing was having distribution in country and all the countries in Europe, Australia.
But I learned that if I sell it to them, then they don't get the vat waiver.
And it's a real problem from a tax perspective.
So I negotiated and put a deal together with press all that all retailers can go to press all direct and buy them.
And so we're going to open that up here really soon.
And you know, clean and shiny will have them first.
And I'm sure that right company Europe will have it as well.
Let's see, Bryce said later, Max, pre sales have been going crazy.
You could sell out the tax member.
So maybe just go become a hex member and get your order in.
And then you can watch my vlogs and stuff.
Ordered a liquid elements T4200 during the sales.
You could use it. That's cool. It's a good move.
Can't wait for my Swiss trucks ship in next week.
And let's see.
Please can you do some OG 4K PC wallpapers?
Yeah, maybe we could do that someday.
Yeah, Irish Spring soap rodents hate the smell.
Yeah, I think that's something that's true.
All right, where was I?
Let's see.
About OG drying aid.
I don't have any window coatings.
I do live in Phoenix.
Both bottles went through winter and summer.
I call this my garage getters around 40 hot.
This is probably 100.
I wonder if that 100 is causing it to get funky.
Hmm.
You know, drying aid is built in or out.
Not build amber.
It's a B and V slipstream.
It's a real unstable product.
But when we get it right, it's freaking fantastic.
Hmm.
I wonder if your bottle is compromised.
Hmm.
Let's see.
Is there a Rambo 9599?
Is there a wheel acid that you would recommend?
Or get the things about KC wheel acid?
Just not sure about them.
I mean, I wouldn't use a wheel acid.
I mean, the McGuire's, what is it?
Wheel bright has always been sort of the standard.
But I would never feel the need to use it.
Unless you're just trying to restore some old wheels or something.
You know, acidic soaps, I find it.
I just don't need.
Matt, what's with the Disassembled Crenzla on the cabinet array
for the Black Friday streams?
We're doing a video of a transformation of the Crenzla,
a Disassembled Crenzla and a Disassembled AR.
So I'd ask people to send me a, you know,
so I bought a couple of drill jacked up ones
and so we're restoring them.
We should have that video done in the next week.
So we're going to put them back together
and then I got to sell them.
And I think they're already spoken for.
And you know, just kind of rebuild and restore them
doing like a transformation video.
And let's see.
Let's see, if you can't afford MSS next,
what would be next best bet?
Hmm.
I think I would wait.
I think I would rather wait and just kind of deal with a toolbox
and maybe a couple of cabinets on the wall.
Like, you know, this is what I did rather than going down the list
to like gladiator, new age.
I think I would wait and save my money.
And then if it were me,
I would probably just pay the shipping
and I would probably just buy, you know, what I could.
So I'd probably buy several like the preconfigured arrays
and just but just do it over time
and start with something.
But we try to figure out where I was going to end up.
What sort of power are you looking for the EVO 8?
It'll be your like 380 wheel horsepower.
That's what I'm looking for.
Let's see Matt just wanted to say thank you to you
and your team.
You are all super responsive.
Thanks, man.
We really worked hard on that Matt Rutledge coming in
and then us putting the tech support team under Chris Goreberry
and then putting Nathan in charge of it
and then having like a dedicated team.
I was having the team do too many jobs
and so we made a dedicated team to really answer questions
and Nathan really knocked out of the park there.
I mean, there were several points throughout Black Friday
where we had zero tickets.
And then of course the design team was ready standing by
to respond and so Matt Rutledge has been doing a great job
of kind of getting in to the nitty-gritty
and doing the things that I'm not good at.
I just assume everybody knows how to do everything
and that's a bad assumption.
And so we're really becoming operationally excellent
taking steps to get there.
Invasion HD says, I've seen a video of yours a long time ago
about C-Tech maintainers.
Is there an extension cable to go from the front battery
to the trunk with a plug in the trunk
or is that a bad idea?
Yeah, they do sell accessory like little extension pieces.
I don't know how many of those you can daisy chain together.
Or in case you could just cut and wire yourself.
You don't have to use their stuff.
I mean, it's just a simple, you know, stranded wire in there.
I'm sure you could do it.
Matt Bravia 8 II or Series 2 or LG G5.
I just don't like the Android operating system.
I prefer WebOS, which I think is a different, you know,
different base platform.
I just, I mean every time I get a Sony, you know,
because Sony's are theoretically superior.
I just prefer the LG's interface.
I prefer the look of the LG.
So I would, I would choose the G5.
I'm putting a G5 in the studio back here.
So Jeffrey Hodgkin says,
are you able to get Ferrisol into the store?
I hope so.
Ferrisol is built hambers like Super WD-40.
We're going to have essentially every built hamburger product available.
We're still having issues because what we want to have,
detail image, major supplier for us, a national supplier,
car supplies warehouse, major supplier for us,
and taking care of all the products that we don't sell.
I would sell Ferrisol in the store and in my store.
But we really need the built-humber.com site to work in the US.
We can go to built-humber.com and buy whatever you want.
So have you done the Tron update on the Model 3?
I haven't yet.
I have to check out what that is.
What's the best pad for one step polish?
It's probably wool.
Probably like I would do the Ruppes yellow wool,
or some buff and shine, or like country version of that.
Let's see.
Spencer says, how does the new MSS fit?
Is it cheaper than ProSlap, the higher quality,
or what's the better, what's the good, better best room?
It's different than ProSlap, and it's not as deep.
When we have the full line of stuff, it'll be quite a bit more modular.
We have more choice of cabinets.
It just fits better in every average garage because it's like four inches shallower,
which I think is important.
The fit and finish is better, but the ability to hold stuff,
the ProSlap is a little bit more, because it has the Austrian glides a little more.
At least the glides are sturdier.
But for my money, I'm buying MSS.
If I'm not getting MSS plus.
Is the fact that the R34 is going to cost as much as GT car?
The fact that the R34 is going to cost as much as a GT car is insane.
Do you think you can drive?
Do you think if you could drive, you would drive the 3RS, or are you over it?
No, I'd drive the 3RS, and I'd probably drive the 4RS everywhere.
If I could drive, I'd be driving the GT3 Touring every day is what I'd be driving.
Let's see, still waiting waiting on the sink to come in.
We get to order it for you.
You just got to order it.
Let's see.
Saw those new Sonic jacks in your recent video.
They look interesting.
I wonder how quiet they are to roll around and polish concrete for.
They have really good casters.
I think it's going to do well.
I know it's going to do well on the bear floor.
They're pretty nice, but I'll have more detail on those soon.
They're not available yet.
They're not really in the US.
Once I get my studio done, I'm digging into that kind of stuff.
We're coming out with a Swiss tracks steel or aluminum plate.
You can roll the Sonic jack right onto that plate and not have to pull your Swiss tracks up.
It's going to be sick.
C-Winer01 says, how are you liking your Tudor?
Yeah.
This is a Rolex.
I have one Tudor.
What is it?
A Pelagos?
It's okay.
It doesn't inspire to me because it isn't as much money.
But it certainly functions well and looks good.
I'm starting to get into this.
This is a Coke.
This is a 1997.
No, 1996.
What they call Coke, which is a GMT master.
I actually have all three bezels for it.
I just bought this.
These are what you call neovintage.
This is a 1996.
I'm starting to get real deep into this here.
But the gentleman I bought it from, he had Coke Pepsi and then the all black bezel.
Then I've got to get a bezel tool where you can just swap the bezel so it can be a vintage, neo-vintage Pepsi.
It could be a neo-vintage Coke or a neo-vintage, just like the original Bruce Wayne, the regular, you know, black GMT master.
But I bought a oyster perpetual blue dial last night.
I watched the auctions on Moda and if they're not very highly subscribed to, like I bought a bluesy for about 5K under market value.
And last night I bought a that oyster for about probably 2500 bucks below market value, 3500 bucks below market value.
Because there wasn't anybody bidding, so I just put my bid in and I won.
But I'm kind of building my collection.
You know, I sold the Helen House, I have a bunch of cash.
And I don't know, it's stored value.
I don't feel super comfortable putting a ton of money into.
I bought some, I built my own AI portfolio, so I have, you know, most of my money at Merrill Lynch and just boring crap.
And then I bought some more Bitcoin and Ethereum at like 90.
And I bought about, about 100 grand of Tesla.
And I bought about 26 grand of like a basket of robotics and AI companies that, but I don't feel comfortable going all in.
So I put up, you know, half a million bucks to work and so the rest of the money just sitting there and cash.
And so I've been thinking about sports cards and some Rolexes.
Because that's kind of fun.
And so my life is quite a bit different and then I'm eliminating some of the risk.
And so I do have quite a bit more capital than I've had before.
So I'm thinking about selling some cards as well.
But then again, that's part of the reason why I'm thinking about buying the R34 is to keep all the cards I have aren't going to lose value.
The EVO is not going to lose value, the GT3 is not going to lose value, the GT4 is not going to lose value, the Rolexes aren't going to lose value and they may appreciate.
But I get to enjoy it, you know, in the time being.
So anyway, I'm really digging watches.
What is actually inside the air fresh bags? Are they natural sense?
That's a good question.
I'll ask Doug and Kenna next.
I think it's an oil, like an essential, not an essential oil, but it's like an oil type.
I wonder, I don't know. That's a good question.
Remember, remind me, at the end here, I've got to tell you about the AR announcement.
You're going to be so pumped.
Do you have any plans to daily vlogmas-type videos of FROG? That's not a bad idea.
I'm thinking about doing some sort of, well, we're going to have a couple of, we're going to have a really awesome Christmas announcement here at the end of today.
Product announcement.
And then I'm thinking about doing something with gift cards. Our gift cards are so freaking cool.
It was really, really cool.
If anybody OG is listening, can you bring me one of our gift cards? I want to show people what it looks like.
So we might run some sort of gift card promo or something.
I'd like to do something like that.
Yeah, I don't know. Maybe that's not a bad idea.
Only if I can come up with enough promotions to do, maybe we could do some sort of, you know, live stream stuff.
Maverick 73 V8 says, can you provide more detailed comments on the difference between the Milwaukee 15-millimeter M18 polisher versus the LE cordless unit?
I got a good deal on Milwaukee, but I haven't used it yet.
I don't think you can go wrong.
This is my take. The Milwaukee is a little louder. The LE is a little bit quieter.
The Milwaukee has a consistent sort of geared grindiness to it.
The LE, because it's a little quieter, but it has that kind of weird, like when it's off-axis, it has this weird grind that kind of sounds weird.
The batteries from Milwaukee, I would guess, are superior versus the Chinese batteries.
But they're probably made in a similar place.
They have about the same amount of rotational capability, like that neither one of them have like real stalling problems.
There is quite a bit more vibration that comes through your hands on the Milwaukee, and this is what does it for me.
The LE's form factor is also a little bit better, but the LE has less NVAs, less noise vibration and whatever noise vibration harshness coming through the tool.
I'd say 10% less. If you got a good deal on it, I don't think I'd return it.
I don't think you'll be disappointed in it. The LE, I would say, is overall 10% better.
I like it quieter. It's less vibration through my hands, just as much torque.
The other thing for LE is, thank you, Sarah, you want somebody to listen in.
So here's our gift cards. I don't know if I can sick these things.
Like if you got one of these, I don't want to fold it, I don't want to mess it up.
But if you got one of these, I mean this is like freaking awesome.
We've had these for forever. But you want the physical gift card, not the virtual gift card.
We're going to run some sort of Christmas promo in maybe in a week or so, or maybe in probably in about two weeks.
What was I just saying? Shoot.
I'm going to lost my train of thought there.
Oh, we're talking Milwaukee. Yeah. So the LE's balance is better, especially if you're a beginner.
This is where it really becomes beneficial in that it's much, this, the way it's set up, the ease of pad flatness is superior.
It's really nice.
Joining late, but how come you haven't switched to the TRC air blaster over the tornadoer?
The tornadoers work for me 100% of the time, and the air blaster, I've had issues with a bunch of different issues with it.
It stopped spinning.
So the bearings have gotten clogged up and rusted.
Also, I've had air leaks from it, and the tornadoers have been pretty bulletproof.
I think I'm actually going to the ROOP as, because the ROOP has a really high quality.
I just need to test that a little bit more, but I think that's freaking great.
Also, what's the deal with Car Supply's warehouse and the 675 they dropped?
I thought the 675, no, the 675 is 1.7 gallon per minute.
Ultra quiet, 15 amp machine.
We're probably going to bring that in as well.
It's a really nice polisher, but I think it's slightly better than a 1622.
It's quieter than a 1622, and the 1622 is really quiet, but it's a 15 amp machine.
It's nice. The fit and finish is OK.
I certainly wouldn't buy that over a 630 or the 635, the 635 is 3 gallons per minute.
Will you stop carrying pro slot now that MSS has launched?
I don't know. I don't think so, but I'm not sure.
Don't acidic soaps restore hydrophobicity or hydrophobics, let's say.
I've never experienced it doing that, but theoretically, if it's the right mineral content and the acid breaks it down, then theoretically.
Also, considering I live in Washington State, I feel like it gets rid of the winter grime, or is this something Deconso can do as well.
Yeah, I mean, I think built-hamber, like if you did the combination of built-hamber, touchless, and then follow with...
I mean, I guess you could do Deconsoap, or I would follow with CarPro Reset.
It's a good combo for the winter.
Let's see, the design team was excellent. I had a perfect experience with them, and they helped me order flat wall Swiss tracks basically.
That's great to hear. Chris will be happy to hear that. It's team's killing it, man.
And we're going to get them some sales training and teach them how to how to close you.
So, we're going to work on that. I don't want that. I just want them to know how to, you know, how to intake, how to qualify,
how to, you know, how to do what I do, how to, you know, really provide the most value, but not a trunk slammer type A salesman.
I'm thinking more type C, you know, a salesman like me where you would, you know, have all the answers, you know all the stuff.
You know, the answers to people's questions, you know what they're missing, and you know how to convince them to get what they really want.
You know, because a lot of times people come in with a budget in mind, but, you know, they're, what they're going to get in their budget or to misalign,
and then, you know, sort of learning how to, you know, get people through that process. We're going to get them some training.
Matt, how far away from just selling the cabinet for the DI and I set up?
I'm not sure yet, if ever. I mean, the CR is great, but we're going to need some sort of solution for the, for the, the, the 63635, because the CR doesn't work for those.
So I'm not sure yet, more to come.
BFX, thanks for all your questions, by the way, it's a super helpful, and there's tons of them, you guys are rolling.
Let's see, do you expect MSS next arrays to drop in price when sales ramp up, assuming you hit target volumes?
I don't think so. I think we squeezed that turn up unless something happens with transit costs via volume, transit costs, import costs, or strengthening of the dollar.
So I don't think that our volumes are going to help as much because they really sharpen their pencil on that.
What I think can happen is we'll have a drop in price of the all a cart stuff, to, to get in line with the, the pre-configured stuff.
So that's my guess. I want it to come down in price. The more comes out in price, the more I can sell it.
So, we're going to try.
Hey Tim, Tim Brown says now that Uncle Maddie bought a Toyota. I wonder if the GR sports car will be in his future.
Maybe the GR, something or other for Ryan, I'm trying to talk him into it.
Matt, would you ever consider getting another Mustang? What's your opinion on the GTD?
Yeah, I would. I do like, I thought about a 350R, you know, in my, you know, if I, if I start collecting cars as investments, which I could see myself do in some day.
You know, if I can get to the point to where obsessed garage is like higher performing, and I don't have to like take so much risk all the time and just continue to sink all the money back in, I'd really love to invest in cars, sports cards, watches.
And then, and, and, and avoid real estate. Real estate stresses me out. So stay in a small house and enjoy life.
I think that's where I'm headed.
300K for an R34, right? Yes, yeah. Yeah, I mean, that's what it takes to do it the way I want to do it. The cars to get, I want it, I need it to get the right base car.
And then, you know, to build the engine, get all the Nismo parts and all the, you know, all the fancy crap that I want, you know, somewhere in the three to four hundred thousand dollar range.
But I won't, I think I'll always have the ability to sell that car to some, you know, hyper enthusiasts because people when YouTubers are a little different in that you could see the whole story.
The whole bill, you're going to see the whole history of the car. And so that gives people peace of mind where I've always been able to sell cars for more.
Sell them really kind of what they're worth, not, not, I don't have the same sunk costs that other people do when you, when you do a car, especially if you do it right.
Let's see, I'd love to get some Chevron.
You get pretty good dividends out of them. Oh, it's not Chevron stock.
Generally, I don't buy individual stocks, but I don't know. There's just, I just have a, and I'm terrible at this kind of stuff.
But I have just a real hardcore belief in Elon Musk, Jensen, Jensen Huang. I thought in video was nonsense.
I just like a little bit of concentration in, like the Mavericks, the Zuckerbergs, the, you know, Sergei, the Elon's of the world.
And because I, you know, what I bought is a 20 year investment. So I don't give a crap what happens in the short term.
Let's see, are you still planning to put a new roof on OG HQ? I hope so. Yes. I'm kind of waiting to see where we settle out from Black Friday.
But I'd like to, I'd like to knock that out.
Let's see.
I think you're right about R34s are going to, you know, go up over time.
We talked about the Car Spice Warehouse and the AR.
The first of my multiple Black orders on Friday was delivered. It's like Christmas, yeah, telling you. Buying this stuff is awesome.
I'm likely seasoned 114s as I've been putting into an AI investment portfolio to test it out. Very low amounts, but just compounding into large cap and a couple of bond and international ETFs to keep it safe.
It's not a bad idea. Take charge of life as Rusty's still around. Yep. He's, he was in Dallas.
I think he's working on his home theater. But he's dedicated to home theater stuff.
I want to sign up for Inside the Hex on YouTube because it's easier to consume.
Yeah.
No, I think in order to do, maybe Bryce can chime in. I think in order to do Hex for the website, you've got to,
I'll tell you what, do this. If you want to become a member, like leader max is all you care about and you want to become a mentor on YouTube,
I don't think this will bog down our tech support team. Or if you are a member on YouTube and you want to get leader max, email support at obsessed garage.com and tell them what you want.
So make it easier on them and they'll make sure that you get early access, making that decree as the king here.
Promotion idea. Anybody that buys the new MSS line from now until February 1st gets entered to win $2,000 of Sonic foam in leg tools. Maybe not a bad idea.
Matt, would you recommend upgrading from Ego 675 to 880? Is it not needed? No, I wouldn't do that unless you needed a second one or you had somebody to buy the old one.
It is better, but I wouldn't spend. Or if you just have a bunch of money, I wouldn't do it.
Let's see, still satisfied with ADS coding on the Toyota. Yep, ETA for new codings in the store, I think. Don't we have that up?
Armor. Yeah, we should have it up soon. I thought we were launching that. So, yeah, I like it enough that I want to put it in the store. It's good.
If you need it now, just buy it from them. Jason Summers, 8097. Do you have any recommendations for a carpet cleaning solution? I have some stains and I'm looking for a great soap.
I'm just not a good source of information on carpet. I never clean it, I always just replace it, and I don't know what to do.
So, I mean, you kind of need an extractor. So, I'm not sure about product. Caleb C. Jordan says, was the AdMLZ remodel worth it?
Would you do a project like that again? No, it was a good learning experience, but it's not what I want to do.
And so, it was worth it that I was going to do it someday at some point. So, it's helped. I mean, I'd say that's a good percentage of the ideation for the design studio and what I want that design studio to be.
So, I don't think I would do a house remodel again, at least not anytime soon. Not until OG is like dominating North America.
Matt, have you ever used any XLR mics for voiceover on videos? If so, which ones do you like or use? You really don't need to do that anymore.
The XLR mics, sort of the standard is the Sure SM7B, which I've used for many, many years, and then you need some sort of digital analog converter, like a universal audio Apollo or something like that. That's what I've used it for years.
You could also do like a shotgun mic, like a Sennheiser of some sort. I find that the quality difference between now, like I have the road USB-C mic, and I don't need any DAC. I don't need any external device which causes problems. It's just so much easier to deal with.
I find that the audio quality is good, or even even this DJI wireless mic, the quality is pretty awesome.
I've kind of gone away from the complexity of the XLR with cloud lifters and DACs and all that kind of stuff, because it's just so much extra effort and not a lot of payoff.
I just got that tire D-Nip kit from Gene Show, Gene Show, Kept 899. I see what you like about Kinipix. Pretty high quality, pretty sick.
Let's see. I lightly see this as I'm in New Jersey after the winter. I'm a huge fan of Touchless, followed by CarPro D scale. Not a bad idea.
I haven't heard anything about a closet solution in a while. We're doing okay. Let's see.
We had pretty good success with the, I put it in the entryway here. We've got two houses to do. We've got Matt Rotligen Joe Peshats House to do.
And then I think after that, so we wanted to get through the season here. So I think we're targeting springtime to launch nationally.
Have you heard about theft issues with Toyota's in Australia? These have been able to bypass the security system in minutes due to it being ancient tech. Interesting.
No. That kind of sucks. Especially if you have like a high mile Toyota that's worth more to you than it's technically worth.
Invasion HD. Since you spoke about investing in cars, everything about buying OG level cars, dialing them in, driving them for a bit and flipping them for a profit.
No, because the way I do it costs too much money. And I'd have to hold it for 10 years to have any kind of profit.
Let's see. More Christmas. UPS delivered my second Black Friday order from Vidal 2021. That's cool.
Start investing in cars and get a few 911 Rs. Yeah, yeah. That'd be cool.
Hey, got my Black Friday order today and everything was packaged very well. Hats off to the shipping crew. Thanks to them.
Getting it out. Thanks to you for buying it.
What can we expect at cars and culture? Cars and culture is December 20th. Open House.
We don't have any like major thing planned other than you're going to get to see the progress, the studio out back.
My office is done. You're going to get to see the bolt, the OG bullpen. Get to see that you know that moving.
It's all gutted and you'll get to see where we're at there. And just come and hang and if you want to buy stuff too, it's going to be cool.
When are you starting the laundry room upgrade, your house? Are you having an outside company do the work? No, Mike and I are going to do it.
I just approved the finish. We went back and forth on finish to get the finish right about six or seven times.
I wanted a very specific, you know, Oak finish. I don't want to be yellow.
So we're doing a rift white oak and then the finish has a little bit of a white glazing, like a very subtle white glazing.
But the glazing is I was getting more too white. I don't want it white. I just want to look like that white oak, like unnatural white oak essentially.
And so I should have it in about six or eight weeks now. Matt, are you going to try the Halo top cookie dough brownie flavor?
I hope the diet is going well. Nope. I'm not trying anything. I'm going to try to do like 18 months of hardcore ketosis and see if I can fix my brain.
It's going great. I started on creatine. So I've gained probably three or four pounds. So I'm sitting in around two, 14 right now.
But I am strict. I'm doing I'm doing a lot of fasting.
I bought some fancy sardines. I'm like afraid of sardines, but I'm going to eat some sardines to see because that's like the perfect ketosis food.
I'm going to try to get into, you know, blood tested, hardcore ketosis monitor. I'm going to do another blood test, send that in, see where my cholesterol and stuff is at.
And I'm hoping to really fix my brain and I can maybe drive, but definitely I'm kind of afraid because I hate fishy, but I can eat anything.
I don't know why I've kind of built this up in my head. I bought some like French and some Spanish fancy, fancy stuff. So hopefully they taste better.
Are there any video scheduled for this weekend on the OG channel?
Let me see what we got going here. Switch accounts.
I got to make some videos. I do want to do the golf cart. And I'm going to make the, going on here, I'm going to make the tour of my every drawer video.
So I want to make that this weekend, assuming I don't get lazy. Let's see what we got on content.
Let's see. Yeah, we have the pressure washer. The dual AR630 video is going up on Saturday on the OG channel.
So that's the high-flow pressure washer solution and focused on the AR630 duals. So that's going up this weekend.
And then if I get my videos done for the garage, I probably need to wash something as well.
So I kind of need to wash the Sequoia again. So I'm going to have to do that again. All my cars are clean.
Let's see. Do you have a collector car insurance policy? No. I just have state form. I should probably visit that in my financial analysis this year as I want to become really financially efficient in both at OG and personally.
So I'm going to probably visit a haggity, chub. So I should go down that path. The state farm has it, but I think they have like a 25-year-old.
That has to be 25-year-old. They have like a classic car policy. But I don't have anything 25-years-old. I'm the EVO's only 20-years-old.
So I'm paying, probably overpaying, for state farms, so I should consider that.
Neil White says, Matt, have you heard of heart and soil supplements? Solomon sprouts and seemed very carnivore diet-ish, not cheap either.
Hmm, no. Haven't seen that off the look that up.
When would you expect to do container outdoor wash bay? As soon as we finish it, I'd like to get the right-tech door done and then do it.
So probably January, February is what I'm thinking. What he's talking about is doing a container on the left and right side and then building a roof on top of that.
And I'm going to cut some roll-up doors into the container to make it so that I have like a wash bay with all my wash equipment outside in the containers. I think that's going to be pretty sick.
Is the OG bifold custom made for OG with those colors, or can you order the same wallet from that company, but in a different style?
I think it's custom for us. Blue stitching, Alcantara. The sun is messing us up here and we'll go over a little bit.
I ordered some shades from my office. We talked about Bravia versus the G5 already. I'm sorry, these are awesome. I ate them almost daily. I'm going to try.
Any future videos of Mike F's personal garage and outdoor kitchen, I think he's getting close to being ready to do it.
He had to do a lot of infrastructure work at his house, so I'm sure we'll go out and video it.
Another thing that most people don't check is that they have all their discounts in place with car insurance like low mileage if you don't drive much.
What happens to you after you get to a certain level? I know this because I've made the come up.
The difference between a thousand bucks on car insurance, I hate to say this, but it just doesn't matter.
The relationship with my insurance person matters more. That time is not worth me checking into it.
It's one of those simple things when they call. You just say, hey, can you double check and make sure I've got the best rate.
How fast does Swiss track ship from manufacturer? It depends. My guess is, in most of the time it's a day or two, it's probably three or four days now.
Did your son of bill raise your electricity bill much? Not that I noticed.
Do you have any idea of the date for cars in culture in January? No. I don't know if we'll do one in January since we're doing it so late.
It may be the February 28th cars in Middleton motoring fest. We may do that.
Dean says we'll be stalking young cars products. No. No. I'm not going to do that.
Anyway, I've got to the end of your questions here. I think that's all I got. The sun's going to mess us up here.
So I'm going to wrap it up here today. I'm going to go back and start organizing my garage.
We have the L-shape in and then Monday. I think maybe it's Tuesday. Mike and Mike are going to finish the sonic array and start outfitting. That's going to be a lot of fun.
We'll also have a video of us installing the MSS up front here so that's coming to.
The garage is coming to a conclusion. We'll start working on the outdoor wash bay. It's going to be a fun year.
Fun end of the year and fun beginning next year. I'm working on the details of Middleton finalizing a lot of stuff.
Anyway, thanks for watching and sorry to screw in it up again. Maybe one of these days we'll do a live stream without a mess up.
See you soon.
