C pillar
It’s the side wall at the back of the car that holds up the roof behind the rear doors. Together with the A and B pillars, it forms the car’s frame.
The C‑pillar is the rear vertical support that runs from the roof to the floor behind the rear doors, completing the three‑pillar structure of most cars.
