locked up
“Locked up” means parts won’t move anymore. Usually that happens when rust or dirt has jammed things together.
“Locked up” describes components that have seized due to corrosion, lack of lubrication, or contamination—common after long-term water exposure. It’s a repair challenge because you may need penetrating oils, heat, or component replacement.
