stall
When a car 'stalls', it suddenly stops running. This can happen if the engine isn't getting enough fuel or air, or if there's a problem with the spark that ignites the fuel.
A 'stall' occurs when an engine unexpectedly shuts off, often due to insufficient fuel, air, or spark. This can happen at idle or during acceleration.
