two wheels

Too Afraid to Ask

“Two wheels” means the car is only touching the ground with two tires. That reduces grip and makes it harder to steer and stay stable.

Technical Definition

“Up on two wheels” means the car is partially airborne, supported by only two tires. In drag racing, this can happen when weight transfers aggressively under power or when the surface is uneven, and it makes traction and steering control much harder.
