A Level 2 car can steer and speed up or slow down by itself, but you still have to watch the road and be ready to drive.

Technical Definition

Level 2 automation allows the vehicle to control steering and acceleration/deceleration simultaneously, but the driver must remain engaged and ready to take over at any time.
