TCU
Too Afraid to Ask
It’s the computer that tells your car when to shift gears, making sure the transmission runs smoothly.
Technical Definition
TCU stands for Transmission Control Unit, an electronic module that manages shift timing and gear selection in automatic or dual-clutch transmissions.
