thousand horsepower
Too Afraid to Ask
It means the car can produce a lot of power—about 1000 units of horsepower, which is much more than typical cars.
Technical Definition
A measure of engine output; a thousand horsepower indicates extremely high power, roughly equivalent to 746 kilowatts.
