Understeer is when you turn the steering wheel but the car doesn’t rotate enough. The front tires slip first, so the car tends to go wide toward the outside of the corner.

hardwire your brain over time
"They just don't have that kind of baggage that you have to kind of unpick because these drivers [1469.9s] and Russell's mentioned this, you hardwire your brain over time to do things unconsciously in the [1474.7s] car."
