undercut
An undercut is a racing strategy where a driver stops for new tires before their opponent, trying to get ahead while the other driver is still on old tires. It can help them pass the other driver when they come back onto the track.
An undercut in Formula 1 refers to a strategic pit stop where a driver pits for fresh tires before their competitor, allowing them to gain time on the track while the competitor is still on older tires. This tactic can lead to overtaking when the driver re-enters the track ahead of their rival.
