duty cycle
It’s a way of saying how long the signal is ‘on’ compared to how long it’s ‘off’. For example, 25% means the signal is on a quarter of the time.
Duty cycle is the percentage of time a signal is active versus inactive in an electronic control system. In this context, it describes how much of the signal’s cycle is on for each transmission sensor.
