Rev matching means turning the engine up or down so it lines up with the next gear before you shift, making the car change gears more smoothly and keeping it from jerking.
Rev matching is a driving technique where the driver adjusts the engine RPM to match the transmission’s input shaft speed before shifting, reducing drivetrain shock and improving shift smoothness.
