tongue weight
Tongue weight is how much weight is pressing down on the hitch of your truck from the trailer. It's important to have the right amount so that your truck can tow safely and easily.
Tongue weight refers to the downward force that a trailer exerts on the hitch of the towing vehicle. It is typically recommended to be between 10% and 15% of the total trailer weight for safe towing.
