Destination is the cost to ship the car to the dealership. It’s a standard fee that’s often listed on the sticker, not something the dealer makes up.

Technical Definition

“Destination” is the fee automakers add to cover shipping the vehicle from the factory to the dealer. It’s usually shown on the window sticker and is separate from dealer charges and taxes.
