A pillar
Think of it as the side wall that holds up the front part of the car’s roof and attaches to the windshield. It’s a key structural piece that keeps the front of the car sturdy.
The A‑pillar is the vertical structural member on each side of a vehicle that runs from the front bumper up to the roof, supporting the windshield and front door frame.
