Extra insurance you can buy for your car that pays for repairs after the original warranty ends, but it usually doesn’t cover everyday wear items.
Extended warranties are aftermarket or dealer-provided insurance plans that cover repairs beyond the manufacturer’s original warranty period. They often exclude common wear-and-tear items and may have limits on coverage.
